In the Wake of a Tragedy


My friend and frequent blog contributor Justin Smith resides in the great State of Tennessee. On Saturday March 3 several tornadoes ravaged portions of Tennessee. Twenty-five people perished and many lost their homes.

You may have heard it said Rome was not built in a day? Neither will these victims of nature find relief and restoration in a day. If you know a way to donate for victim relief PLEASE do so. Lives Lost and Heavy Hearts – God Shall Wipe Away All Tears

Tennesseans were reminded, in all too stark a manner, that our lives are so fragile at best and we will never know the day or the hour of our deaths, when four tornadoes blasted through Middle Tennessee in the early morning hours of March 3rd, at speeds of between 165 and 200 miles per hour in some cases. They were taken by surprise in Putnam County and the Greater Nashville Area, even though several news channels were broadcasting continuous warnings, and when they heard the freight train roar of the tornado, many had just enough, barely enough, time to make it to some semblance of safety, but some did not and were swept up in the whirlwinds that took their lives.

 

Despite the constant alerts from WSMV-4 Nashville, East Nashville residents only had about six minutes to get to safety and out of the way of an EF-3 tornado’s deadly 165 mile per hour winds, according to the Tornado Warning for Davidson County, and one resident, Danielle Theophile, told WSMV, “I got the warning and in less than ten minutes you could just feel the pressure, my ears were popping (and) we all ran downstairs and just huddled together.”

 

Linda Leath told of her and her husband being awakened at 2:00 a.m. (CST) by a tornado alert on her phone, and a minute later the tornado tore through their Cookeville home. They managed to keep from being sucked out of their home by hanging on to heavy furniture for dear life, with Linda ending up between her bed and a cedar chest.

 

In the aftermath of the worse tornadoes Tennessee has witnessed in seven years, a state of emergency was declared and first responders attended to the dazed and hurt people and spent the next three days in a process that included clearing and searching through the rubble and devastation for any survivors and the dead. Initially, they transported at least 156 people to local area hospitals, with several hundred more that followed [over 300 by some counts], and in due time, they determined that twenty-five poor unfortunate souls lost their lives in this disaster.

 

Reported by the Washington Post on March 3rd: “Tuesday morning’s destruction stretched for 50 miles across four counties. at least 48 buildings collapsed in Nashville, according to Fire Chief William Swann. Officials said gas leaks were ‘a major concern’ in the tornado’s wake. About 250 electric poles were downed or damaged, according to Nashville Electric Service.”

 

As bad as that may sound and as terrible the damage was in places like East and North Nashville, Lebanon, Mt Juliet, Hermitage, and Donelson, Putnam County was at ground zero of this tragedy, and it was hit much harder. It was later determined that an EF-4 tornado with sustained winds of 200 miles per hour had hit, destroying much of the city of Cookeville in the process, with eighteen of the tornado’s victims dying in this county.

 

On March 6th, a day after he declared a major disaster for the area and ordered federal aid to help the recovery efforts in Davidson, Putnam and Wilson Counties, President Donald Trump flew into Nashville on Air Force One to take a look at the devastated area and meet with Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and other elected officials and the victims of the area. He also surveyed a great deal of the damage from the air, in the Marine Force One helicopter. During the course of his visit to Cookeville, Pres. Trump stated, “This is real devastation like you’ll hopefully never see again.”

 

Due to numerous other such tragedies that he has dealt with over the past three years, as he planned his visit to Tennessee, President Trump also had previously remarked and noted: “Our hearts are full of sorrow for the lives that were lost. Those tornadoes — I’ve seen many of them during a three year period, and I’ve gotten to see the results. And they are vicious if you’re in their path.”

 

At one point, the President added, “You’re great people; it’s a great state.”

 

Many of you, my fellow Tennesseans, and others across the nation who may be reading this, may know one or many of those who were affected by this tragedy, just as I do.

A dear friend of mine, Ms. Candice Temple, a Murfreesboro, TN resident, saw her family home destroyed. It was a home that had been in her family for fifty-eight years and where she lived as a child, and even in the face of this terrible event, Candice and her cousin, Ashley King Burns, managed smiles and gave thanks that family members had come out of it alive, including Candice’s mother, who lost everything. And, as they sifted through its ruins, they even took a moment to have themselves a little picnic on the stoop of their old home place, as they reminisced over all the happy times they had seen there, as children.

Exhibiting the spirit and the strength of the people of Tennessee, Candice had planted an American Flag in the roots of a large downed tree, and she exclaimed [in a recent Facebook post]: “We are cousins helping our families and we are proud Americans as well!!!! I had to put the flag up in our yard (well the roots of the tree). Our roots run deeper than any tree and no tornado can stop our LOVE or our Family.”

From all across the state and the nation, people and organizations have come to help in the cleanup and the rebuilding, as thousands of volunteers have descended on the hard hit areas, with tarps, tools and other equipment, including bobcats and bulldozers. There has also been a good number of donations coming from as far away as Canada, and it wasn’t even a matter of days before the resource center of Hands On Nashville had 20,000 volunteers to do work in each of the affected areas. The response has been outstanding, so far.

 

Several #NashvilleStrong operations have come to the forefront of the relief effort, and in fine fashion, Nashville’s Country Music artists have come to the rescue. Taylor Swift recently donated one million dollars to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund, that allocates resources and support to effected communities, as well as nonprofit organizations focused on helping survivors. And showing they are indeed part of the community, the Tennessee Titans NFL professional football team matched her million dollar donation.

 

As Reverend Frank Gordon, pastor of North Nashville’s Fourteenth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, observes: “Most of the folks that I have talked with, black and white, all of our heads are pretty much in the same place. We have been through these things before with tornadoes and floods in Nashville. Each time that I recall it has happened, the major thrust in the community has been everybody pulling together.”

 

Unfortunately, twenty-five Tennessee families are now suffering the tragic loss of a loved family member who was taken from this world too soon in their minds and hearts. One such person, Larry Redmond, tells of stepping onto the porch of what once was his sister’s three bedroom home, in Putnam County, and seeing it gone, after he received a call at 3:00 a.m. from his nephew that the tornado had hit them. Redmond would later find the bodies of his sister, Cathy Selby, and her husband, Keith, approximately sixty yards away from where their home used to stand.

 

Speaking to Victor Oquendo of ABC News, Redmond said, “One night, one storm, killed them both.”

 

And the curious thing about the forces of nature, and the natural disasters associated with them, is that they don’t care if you are a Republican or a Democrat. Justine Arreche, a Bernie Sanders supporter, would later tell the Washington Post, “There’s nothing like crying in your half-bath, begging the dog to come in with you.”

 

If there was ever any doubt in anyone’s mind on the tenuous hold we all have on life, this one night certainly should remove it. There but for the Grace of God go I.

 

Tennessee and the Greater Nashville Area have faced such trials and adversity before, and there isn’t any doubt, for those who live long enough, the community will see tragedy come again, bringing a grief of such magnitude that it can only be extinguished over time through an intense personal journey, at one’s own pace. However, the efforts of everybody from all walks of life in Tennessee to help alleviate some of the hurt from this deeply sad point in time has been a thing of beauty and a testament to the special character found in the people of our state, as #NashvilleStrong has been seen everywhere of late; and those who call Tennessee and Nashville home should bear in mind this same strength sets this region apart, a strength that lies within the heart of the people who build their homes and make their lives here in Middle Tennessee.

And in closing, what better expression can be made than the wonderful words delivered by Ellie Holcomb, a singer-songwriter, who spent the night huddled in her basement with her three children and a few “sweet neighbors”, until the sun rose. And she offered the following poignant words: “Our hearts are grateful for breath in our lungs, but heavy for all the lives, homes, and businesses lost. In the same breath, the sun came up today and there was a community rising up strong from a terrible storm, hands and feet sowing up with love and chainsaws and water and food. I’ve never been more scared in my life, but I’ve also never been more sure that there is comfort and hope to be broken and shared with one another in the wake of a tragedy.”

Intro to Southwest’s ‘ECO-TERRORISM’

There is often a thin line between Conspiracy Fact and Conspiracy Theory. It is often difficult which side of the fact and conjecture falls when it comes to national governments. WHY? The truth of the matter is Machiavellian secrets is how governments operate to proceed with perceived National Interests. I use the word “perceived” because perception is always in the hands of those in power.

 

In representative governments (face it – the last direct Democracy was ancient Athens which is where America’s Founders came to understand the concept of the Tyranny of the Majority) that power develops by elected governments often with power structures operated by an unelected bureaucracy whose loyalties can be mysterious and not necessarily to the benefit of the common good of those who elect government officials on a local or national (in the USA – Federal) level.

 

It is the bureaucratic level that secret agendas proceed that I believe someone with power has good intentions according to their political ideology, BUT can nefarious results that the people who vote would not view with favor – no matter the voting-people’s political ideology.

 

It is my sense that is what pseudonymous Southwest is trying to decipher from available facts below. Unfortunately the process of deciphering leads to one’s best guess. A guess one would call a Conspiracy Theory of conjecture while another would view the preponderance of facts that leads to a logical outcome.

 

On my part I have a sense theories could quite possibly collide with logical outcomes.

 

Southwest put together a series of posts on the USA.Life social platform he divided between A – D on what he views as Eco-Terrorism perpetrated by governments with a close look at the U.S. government. I think you will be fascinated with his point of view which looks at Climate control but NOT through the lens of Climate Change political Leftists. I’ll let you consider who is culpable on the Left and/or the Right for potential human manufactured natural disasters resulting from mysterious bureaucratic agendas. A good guess there is some culpability from both the Left and the Right.

 

The question then arises: Will voters ever be able to restrain unelected bureaucrats in both civilian government and military-industrial complex?

The U.S. continues to carry out large-scale scientific experiments under the HAARP program, and not controlled by the global community. Those weapons are capable of breaking radio communication lines and equipment installed on spaceships and rockets, provoke serious accidents in electricity networks and in oil and gas pipelines and have a negative impact on the mental health of people populating entire regions, the deputies said. They demanded that an international ban be put on such large-scale geophysical experiments. The appeal, signed by 90 deputies, has been sent to President Vladimir Putin, to the United Nations and other international organizations, to the parliaments and leaders of the UN member countries, to the scientific public and to mass media outlets. Despite these dire warnings, the practice of heating chemical releases in space is just “a conspiracy theory.”

To make it short, the Defense Department is selling the benefits of those attacks without telling that they are being used to create and/or to maximize the power of earthquakes, Tsunamis and more.

This eco-terrorism is a direct cause of the magnitude of present earthquakes, volcanos, mental disorders and suicide, to name a few of the consequences of this attack, but it is not done randomly, at least not at this moment.

Weather is unnaturally severe because of unnatural modification.

As clearly stated, human manipulation of weather is unjust, unnatural, and just wrong! Could this be a way for government to subdue a population? It is unbearable to think about, yet proven by evidence that major hurricanes such as Katrina were caused by weather modification.

First, it’s important to note that this superstorm is still very much in progress.  Some of the best weather forecast models have predicted up to 40 inches of rain in the most affected areas over the coming days.

 

As is often the case, this hurricane is not just about a calamitous wind-damaging event as much as it was geoengineered to be a mega rain-dumper.  Catastrophic winds typically limit their fury mainly to the coastlines, although they can cut a swath of great destruction that follows the path of the eye wall.

SCoPEx is an acronym for “Stratospheric Controlled Perturbation Experiment,” and it’s the name of a new Bill Gates-funded global genocide experiment designed to eliminate most living humans by collapsing the biosphere. The dangerous SCoPEx plan, which is being masterminded by mad scientists at Harvard, falls right in line with the genocidal dreams of communist Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who recently announced his endorsement for expanding mass abortions across Third World nations in order to achieve accelerated depopulation of brown and black people.

 

Both SCoPEx and Bernie Sander’s eugenics population control scheme are being packaged under the label of halting “climate change,” a false, manufactured crisis invented by globalists to spread mass hysteria and convince the people of the world to surrender all remaining liberties.

 

“This is not the crackpot plan of a garden-shed inventor,” writes the UK Daily Mail. “The project is being funded by billionaire and Microsoft founder Bill Gates and pioneered by scientists at Harvard University.”

 

Recreating massive volcanic eruptions that caused a global collapse of food crops

 

The SCoPEx project seeks to replicate the effects of an apocalyptic volcano disaster such as the 1815 eruption of Mount Tambora, which ejected so much particulate matter into the atmosphere that it produced what was called, “the year without a summer.” Food crops failed across the planet, leading to mass starvation and disease. This is what Bill Gates and today’s mad scientists are working to replicate through artificial means. And yes, it’s all about unleashing mass starvation, genocide and depopulation on a global scale.

 

The mechanism by which this is achieved is rather straightforward. By ejecting millions of tons of particulate matter (i.e. pollution) into the stratosphere, a measurable amount of sunlight is blocked and prevented from reaching the surface of the Earth, where plants grow. All plants need sunlight and carbon dioxide for photosynthesis, so reducing sunlight — even a little — would devastate plant-based food webs, food crops and ecosystems across the planet. Because marine ecosystems also depend on the photosynthesis that takes place in phytoplankton, the pillar of marine food webs, much of ocean life as we know it today would also collapse, leading to a cascading ecological nightmare that would destroy global food supplies and lead to the mass starvation of humans, land animals and sea creatures.

 

We aren’t the only ones concerned about the implications of planetary-scale geoengineering and deliberate mass pollution of the skies. Even the UK Daily Mail admits the project generates, “fears that it could trigger a disastrous series of chain reactions, creating climate havoc in the form of serious droughts and hurricanes, and bring death to millions of people around the world.” The UK Daily Mail continues:

 

One fear is that spreading dust into the stratosphere may damage the ozone layer that protects us from hazardous ultraviolet radiation which can damage human DNA and cause cancers. Climatologists are also concerned that such tinkering could unintentionally disrupt the circulation of ocean currents that regulate our weather. This itself could unleash a global outbreak of extreme climatic events that might devastate farmland, wipe out entire species and foster disease epidemics… This dream ‘fix’ seems to have plenty of potential to become a global nightmare.

 

Note that this is all being deliberately rolled out in the name of “climate change,” which has become the cry of genocidal maniacs like Bill Gates, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders… people who now openly talk about global-scale eugenics and depopulation as “the only way to save the planet.” Warren even claims that humanity only has 11 years remaining on planet Earth before a climate apocalypse destroys everything. So they use this fabricated fear to justify mass murder, essentially telling the world that billions of humans are going to have to die in order to prevent the planet from collapsing. Yet the real collapse is being engineered by these same people who actively seek to carry out planet-scale genocide.

 

If successful, they will kill 1000 times more people than the Holocaust. We’re talking about roughly six billion humans being annihilated by globalists, all in the name of “saving the planet.” It’s difficult to out-Hitler Hitler, but Bill Gates may yet go down in history as the man who spearheaded a global pollution program that murdered six billion humans. (All in the name of caring about the environment, of course.)

 

No longer a theory; these programs are funded and being rolled out right now

 

It’s no longer a conspiracy theory that the world’s political and science leaders want to mass murder humanity: It’s now admitted and right out in the open. The experiments are already funded and under way at this very moment. All voices of reason who are sounding the alarm on this issue are censored, silenced, de-platformed and ridiculed. Yet the experiments are under way right now to systematically pollute the atmosphere. Now, thanks to the lunacy of the climate change cult, the goal is to pollute the planet and block the sun, then collapse global food webs and starve out billions of people.

 

This is beyond geoengineering. It’s actually terraforming, as I have explained in previous articles.

I was outraged when I read Tommy Robinson was railroaded by the British legal system for merely reporting on Muslim pedophile-rape jihadists who were actually convicted. In the case of Robinson, he was actually convicted for making convicted Muslims anxious.

Philadelphia – July 12, 2019 – The Middle East Forum again helped citizen-journalist Tommy Robinson defend himself from charges arising from his reporting in March 2018 outside a courthouse where a Muslim rape gang was on trial.

 

Mr. Robinson has been sentenced to nine months in jail, the culmination of the UK Establishment’s dogged pursuit of an individual with the audacity to report on the UK’s epidemic of Muslim rape grooming gangs. Although found guilty of a civil infraction he has been placed in HMP Belmarsh, a notoriously violent prison sometimes known as the “jihadi training camp.”

 

In this latest round, Mr. Robinson is sentenced to jail for a technical violation of the UK’s Contempt of Court Act of 1981 that allows judges to postpone the reporting of trials. However, “Worse than being selectively enforced, the Contempt Act appears to be exclusively enforced against Tommy Robinson when it comes to reporting outside courthouses,” notes Marc Fink, the Forum’s Legal Project director. Indeed, according a UK media guide (emphasis added):

 

Filming parties to proceedings as they arrive and leave the court house is also technically forbidden but in practice this rule is not enforced e.g. pictures of defendants and witnesses arriving and leaving the Royal Courts of Justice or the ‘Old Bailey’ are commonly shown. In May 2018, Mr. Robinson was arrested, tried, convicted, sentenced to 13 months prison, and jailed – all in the course of five hours. On August 1, Mr. Robinson won his appeal, with the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales denouncing “a fundamentally flawed process.” But the UK’s attorney general was undeterred, re-trying the case last week, this time putting on a better show trial.

 

The Forum most recently assisted Mr. Robinson by funding his legal team in an attempt to have the charges dismissed. In 2018, it funded, organized and staffed three “Free Tommy” London rallies and spurring Sam Brownback, the U.S. ambassador for International Religious Freedom, to raise the issue with UK officials, as well as other steps.

 

Mr. Robinson has acknowledged this assistance: “The political establishment here in the UK is doing everything possible to silence me solely for my views on political Islam. The Middle East Forum has been instrumental in assisting with my reoccurring legal challenges.”

Overcoming Free Speech Suppression in the UK

As an American I find the UK’s treatment of Counterjihad activists exposing the dark side of Islam appalling. To be honest though, I also find it disappointing that a majority of UK Counterjihad activists slip down into profanity-laced profanity when their God-given Free Speech Rights are violated. In my view the profanity does not help their cause to expose Islam and more than likely raises public agreement with the UK government to hinder Free Speech Rights.

 

In America those that pay attention to UK Free Speech suppression typically have name recognition of Tommy Robinson. Robinson seems at the forefront of those receiving government persecution with oppressive Hate Speech laws created to enhance Multiculturalist ideology at the expense of Western Culture.

 

Another Counterjihad activist similar in tone and plight to Tommy Robinson yet probably less known is Jayda Fransen. Fransen gained my attention when she attempted to disseminate a video exposing UK unjust persecution that included a plea for help over that treatment. The attention getter was that Youtube restricted that platform’s usage with a warning Fransen’s video might be offensive as well as limiting sharing and embedding tools. I watched Fransen’s Youtube version and discovered she didn’t even use profanity in talking about her persecuted treatment. So I downloaded the video and uploaded it to my Facebook page then shared the Facebook version on my blogs.

And since Fransen made the effort to NOT utilize her reputed usage of profanity, I signed up on her webpage for email updates. A few days ago I received one of those email updates in which Fransen describes how she attempted to work within the UK legal system to expose her reprehensible treatment and the response she received was a notice to shut up or else.

 

Below is that email update that does include a link to donate which she can use for her legal defense fund and probably her financial situation since the UK is giving her a difficult time about where she can reside while on parole for her unjust convictions of Hate Crimes violations.

Probation have threatened me with legal action!

 

Dear John

 

As you know, the National Probation Service in England have done everything in their power to make my life as difficult as possible since my release from jail in November 2018.

 

Their latest strike against me is taking things to another level!

 

I have finally received an email response from my Probation Officer’s line manager after I asked her to explain why my Probation Officer lied in court against me.

 

She has refused to answer my question and has also said that my official complaint to Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) will not be responded to!

 

Then she threatened to take legal action against me!

After I received this threat, my Probation officer called me and repeated it over the telephone!

 

She said, “As my line manager told you, stop calling us derogatory names”.

 

When I asked her what exactly did she class as ‘derogatory’, she replied that I had called her “Evil”.

 

Can you believe that?

 

After making my life a living hell for 5 months, having me arrested at Christmas, dragging me into court and banning me from living in my own home – she is upset because I called her ‘Evil’?!

As if that wasn’t ridiculous enough, she went on to say that my suggestion that she might be guilty of Contempt of Court or Perjury – after she took the stand and LIED under oath at my trial – has caused upset high up in the National Probation Service as it brings their name into disrepute!

 

So now the National Probation Service are threatening me with legal action because I told you that one of their employees lied in court and I think that they are evil!

 

They will stop at nothing it seems!

 

This is just another layer of pressure intended to break me.

 

As if 9 months in prison wasn’t enough, or being forced on the run, being banned from living in my own home, having police hunting me, being arrested on a plane by armed police, being held in a police cell overnight, being dragged into court and forced to stand trial just for living in my own home – they now want to take legal action for me calling them names!

 

 

I am not prepared to be bullied and threatened by the State and then told I can’t tell anyone about it John.

 

I need to continue fighting against this pressure and I am appealing every unfair decision made against me.

 

I cannot believe I am having to appeal to a Crown Court to overturn a decision to make me homeless!

I’ve been critical of the UN’s Agenda 21 (and its updated variations such as Agenda 2030 which alarmingly includes human depopulation) for quite some time.

 

There are many facets to Agenda 21/2030 revolving around a despotic One World Government, a Humanism filtered through Marxism, alarming forms of Left Wing Ecology, of course loss of National Sovereignty which would include shredding the Liberty found in the U.S. Constitution AND for the sake of this conversion – Human Depopulation.

 

Long before the United Nations existed population alarmists have been preaching the theory the world’s ability to produce food cannot keep up with earth’s ever increasing population. The UN has taken this alarmism and has discreetly adopted a depopulation agenda cloaked in flowery Left-speak to disguise intentions from the general population.

 

Too often humans subject themselves to a theory as if it is a gospel fact. I found a book review on the Christian oriented BreakPoint that extrapolates a different kind of theory that earth’s population will soon reach its peak then naturally decrease based on projected decreased global fertility rates. We’ve mentioned in the past on BreakPoint about “zombie abortion arguments.” You know, those arguments that just won’t die? They continue to be repeated long after they should have been “dead and buried.” Like zombies in movies, these arguments continue shuffling along, seemingly impervious to the reality that they are dead.

 

Abortion isn’t the only issue confused by “zombie arguments.” There’s a whole host of “should-be-dead-by-now” ideas having to do with so-called “overpopulation.” I say “so-called” because virtually every dire prediction Paul Ehrlich made fifty years ago in his book “The Population Bomb” was wrong. Spectacularly wrong, in fact. Yet Ehrlich’s ideas remain an article of faith among many—and I mean that literally.

 

In “The Walking Dead,” the only sure way to dispatch a zombie is with a headshot. Well, a new book should be the headshot for Ehrlich’s ideas. Unfortunately, many people’s worldviews harden to the point of becoming ideological kevlar helmets.

 

The book of which I speak is “Empty Planet: The Shock of Global Population Decline” by Darrell Bricker and John Ibbitson.

 

To be clear, there’s far more than one “shock” described in “Empty Planet,” but all of them flow from a single reality. Contrary to what people have been taught to believe for decades, “We do not face the challenge of a population bomb but of a population bust—a relentless, generation-after-generation culling of the human herd.”

 

As the Canadian duo documents, an increasing number of demographers around the world believe that the UN’s estimates, that human population will peak at 11 billion in 2100, are far too high. The more likely outcome, they suggest, is that “the planet’s population will peak at around nine billion sometime between 2040 and 2060, and then start to decline.” According to Bricker and Ibbitson, “Once that decline begins, it will never end.”

 

Their argument is scarily plausible. They are not exaggerating when they call this decline the “great defining event of the twenty-first century” and “one of the great defining events in human history.”

 

We talk a lot on BreakPoint about the decline of fertility rates in the industrialized world: Western Europe, Japan and the United States. We have described the dire economic and social consequences of this decline.

 

What “Empty Planet” makes clear is that this decline isn’t limited to the usual suspects. South Korea is headed down the same road to demographic catastrophe as Japan. Even more ominously, similar trends are emerging in the developing world. By the middle of this century, Brazil, Indonesia, China, and even India will begin to see their populations decline.

 

The reasons behind the decline are, not surprisingly, mostly cultural. In a brilliant bit of analysis, the authors point out that “as societies become more modern and urban, friends and co-workers replace siblings, parents, and uncles and aunts.” Families may put subtle and sometimes not-so-subtle pressure on young people to get married and have kids, but friends rarely do.

 

And then, there’s this well-established link between religiosity and fertility, something we’ve talked about before on BreakPoint.

 

Population decline is going to be a nasty shock, especially in the economic realm. Ideally, there should be about six workers for every retiree. Thanks to increased life expectancy and low birth rates, it is projected to drop to about three by 2050 and about two by 2100. We may live longer but there will be fewer of us, and our societies will be less dynamic, entrepreneurial, and creative.

 

Despite these realities, the myth of “overpopulation” refuses to die. Efforts to combat fertility and population growth, whether governmental policies or cultural incentives, are terrible ideas that threaten to make victims of us all.

 

Still, unlike Bricker and Ibbitson, I refuse to give up hope. Faith, especially Christian faith, is still strong in many parts of the world. And while that persists, there’s still a chance to avoid some of the “shocks” they describe in “Empty Planet.”

 

Otherwise a different, but no less real, zombie apocalypse awaits us.

We believe in the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit for the individual’s new birth and growth to maturity, and for the Church’s constant renewal in truth, wisdom, faith, holiness, love, power, and mission.

 

We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return in glory to raise the dead and bring salvation and judgment to completion. God will fully manifest His kingdom when He establishes a new heaven and new earth, in which He will be glorified forever, and exclude all evil, suffering, and death.

The End of the Line

The United States’ economy has surpassed all normal ebbs and flows, corrections, by approximately five years, since on average in each past cycle it rose for 56 months before collapsing. We’re about five years past that point and our economy is only now “cooling”. We’re just about due for another economic recession, if not a collapse that makes 2008 look small. We’re at the end of the line.

The U.S. spends almost a third of its revenue on interest payments alone, and it doesn’t seem like it can afford to pay much more.

In the short decade since 2008, the national debt, ever on the rise, has jumped from $10.6 trillion to $22 trillion. It also comes with a deficit that’s currently over $1 trillion currently. The interest payments alone may be forming a “black hole” from which the U.S. may never escape.

These facts alone should raise concern in any interested observer.

 

And now we see twenty-nine year old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a product of the Puerto Rican Enlightenment and a Bronx resident, and other red, radical socialists like her in the House of Representatives, promising Pie-In-The-Sky Utopia for everyone. This makes her a danger to herself, her constituents and the nation, since she believes there isn’t any problem that a government program cannot solve, and she is already advocating for Medicare for all, a job guarantee, free college tuition, a green infrastructure program, and a squeeze the rich tax plan (70% for those making over $10 million).

 

Most political pundits say, “It will never pass … it’s crazy … it will harm the economy.” But, crazy plans that hurt the economy just might stand a chance at passing, since just over half the population in its entirety, and 51% of all Millennials, now have an acceptable view of socialism, some even embracing communism.

 

When existing laws of the land cause bankruptcy and chaos, people seem to look to legislate even more absurd laws, which is precisely how the first New Deal was pushed through Congress, during the panic and despair of the 1932 elections. And the New Deal gave President Franklin D. Roosevelt carte blanche to enact a series of costly programs.

 

A good guess is that the next economic crisis will be severe and long-lasting, too, as stocks fall hard and the economy goes into a deep recession.

 

“How did we get here”, one young lady recently asked me. Short answer: America has been guided to this point, by the consequences of the Federal Reserve Act, centralized banking, regulations, currency manipulation, devaluing the U.S. dollar, socialist initiatives in Congress to fast-track globalism, unfunded debt, monetized debt and acts of anti-American national sovereignty on both sides of the aisle who are intent on tearing apart the Founders’ vision and U.S. sovereignty, in order to pave the way for the globalists and their vision of a “new world order”.

 

The enemies of America, both foreign and domestic, have been working towards this goal for the past 120 years, and they have been working tirelessly and consistently towards leveling America’s power and wealth to the point She can be managed and coerced or forced to submit to the global agenda of the few power elite, the oligarchs of the world,

 

Mainstream media almost never hype a financial crisis, so it’s significant when they do. But when billionaires are sounding the alarm, you might want to pay close attention.

At least two billionaires are doing just that, starting with Baupost Group’s Seth Klarman. Baupost Group is a $28 billion hedge fund, and Klarman normally positions himself out of the limelight. His fund is only open to private investors, so he has little incentive to promote his brand to the public.

But recently, he felt the need to write a warning to investors about the global debt, with specific reference to the U.S., according to Sovereign Man:

In a 22-page letter to his investors, Klarman warned that government debt levels, particularly in the US (where debt exceeds GDP), could lead to the next global financial crisis.

“The seeds of the next major financial crisis (or the one after that) may well be found in today’s sovereign debt levels,” he wrote.

 

Even ignoring economic history, there are signs everywhere, as nearly every major asset class around the world, from stocks and bonds to real estate, is selling at nearly an all-time high at prices that defy common sense. This suggests the possibility of a big recession and market correction just before the 2020 election, giving the socialists a much needed crisis that could catapult them into a majority in both houses of Congress. And that’s why we should all be praying that if any coming recession must come, let it hit soon, so it can be properly addressed before it becomes a major election issue.

In the same letter, Klarman continued: “There is no way to know how much debt is too much, but America will inevitably reach an inflection point whereupon a suddenly more skeptical debt market will refuse to continue to lend to us at rates we can afford…”

And Klarman isn’t the only billionaire expressing unease. At the World Economic Forum [Blog Editor: WEFORUM – Globalization 4.0; Breitbart-Pompeo-Nationalism; New American-Merkel-Communist China-Globalist Agenda; & TheGatewayPundit-Ted Malloch-Criticizing Davos] in Davos, Switzerland, Ray Dalio, founder of the world’s largest hedge fund, said that debt would be to blame for the next downturn, which he believes will be bigger than the Great Depression.

“The biggest issue is that there is only so much one can squeeze out of a debt cycle and most countries are approaching those limits”.

You might think the U.S. government would do everything to curb this problem, but Uncle Sam’s total debt is rapidly approaching $22 trillion, and according to the Congressional Budget Office’s latest ten-year projection, it will be more than $33 trillion by 2029, with $1 trillion annual deficits set to begin again and stay above that for as far as the fiscal eye can see.

Skyrocketing debt, check. Deficit to match, check. Or will it be checkmate?

Although I’ve stated this twice before in this piece. let me reiterate — The U.S. spends almost a third of its revenue on interest payments alone.  America and Her people cannot afford to pay much more.

Precious In His Sight

Christmas Day is rapidly approaching for people all over the world, but life and its joy and tragedies doesn’t hold still for Americans, or anyone, on that fact alone. In America, the wealthiest and most powerful nation on earth, there is enough misery to go around for all. Although many are suffering the physical ailments brought on by debilitating disease and old age and seeing their deterioration and decline to a mere shadow of their former selves hurts their loved ones deeply, and there are many thousands of Americans suffering in poverty, or from homelessness, it is the plight of our children that concerns me most this season.

 

Some may call it happenstance, but I like to think of it as God moving Us to act, when we come in contact with great spiritually minded people who have taken on a mission to help others. I had the opportunity to meet just such a wonderful person, Ruth Meyer (Ruthie to her friends) who lives in the Blackman Community of Rutherford County, TN., on December 7th, 2018, by way of a casual question in Walmart and seeming chance.

 

Ruth’s hat read “Mama Bear” and prompted me to ask if that had anything to do with Sarah Palin. She told me “No” and explained her husband had given it to her. And then she entered into one of the most wonderful and precious stories I had heard in many a long year. She and her husband had seven children, all of which she is very protective. Two are their natural born children and five were adopted by them. They started this eleven years ago, after Ruth was “called by God” and led her husband to the same calling. And incredibly, she continued on to tell me that there were many others involved in this effort, like the professional educators in Smyrna, TN with four children of their own who recently adopted a sibling group of seven from infant to seventeen years old.

 

As Ruth explained, “They almost always come to foster care with absolutely nothing”.

 

Today Ruth helps Shepherd’s Closet, also known as Foster Closet, here in Rutherford County, that is an organization operated through the nonprofit Rutherford County Foster Parent Association (RCFPA)and serves to help clothe Rutherford County children in foster care; at-risk children are also helped, but only through referrals. Since the children are already going through such a hard time in their young lives, being uprooted from their homes, Shepherd’s Closet also does the best it can to provide personal hygiene products, school supplies, toys backpacks and other items they can call their own, and it receives some loving help from Lifepoint Church, on Legacy Drive in Smyrna, TN.

 

Ruth’s story moved this old heart of mine to tears, and after we parted ways, I gave the issue a bit more thought. A quick search brought figures from 2013 that suggest, on average, more than two-hundred and fifty thousand children in America enter the foster care system each year, and although approximately fifty percent will return to their parents, the remainder will not. Struggling the most, there are also more than 100,000 legal orphans in America, who are waiting in foster care in hopes of being adopted by some generous and loving family. Many of these children watch on the sidelines from afar, as the joy of Christmas is celebrated by others, and another year passes them by without any presents, no Christmas tree, and seemingly no affirmation and love from anyone and a family to call their own forever.

 

It was amazing to hear Ruth speak with such passion, as she informed me that she and her husband were going to receive another child on December 20th. What a Christmas present for them all.

 

Even more tragic in many respects, we see far too many young children suffering with cancer. According to a report from the Centers for Disease Control in June of this year, about fifteen thousand youths under age twenty are diagnosed with some form of cancer every year in America. Between 2003 and 2014, there were 173.7 pediatric cancer cases per one million people. However, more than eighty percent of these victims of cancer are still alive five years later, which is a vast and dramatic improvement in treatments over the past decades, as noted by the National Cancer Institute.

 

One of the best and foremost warriors in this battle against cancer, America has been blessed by St. Jude’s Hospital [Blog Editor: Ways to give to St. Jude] and its many benefactors, such as Marlo Thomas who is following the example set by her father, Danny. St Jude’s homepage on Google explains quite correctly:

 

“St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and cures childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. … St. Jude freely shares the breakthroughs it makes… Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.”

 

And all America can never forget the images of small children and their families, as July’s Carr Fire and November’s Camp Fire claimed a total of 92 lives and displaced over 100,000 Americans raged across our country. Who will ever forget 70-year-old Melody Bledsoe soaking blankets in her kitchen sink to drape over her great-grandchildren, Emily and James Roberts, ages 4 and 5? The Salvation Army, Chico-based Enloe Medical Center Foundation and the Tri-Counties Bank have all set up relief funds for California’s fire victims.

Give $5000 or more, depending on your circumstances; but I daresay, these organizations will be ecstatic over each $5 bill collected, and God too will be especially pleased and satisfied by those who give, when perhaps they are not in the best place financially themselves. Let’s set aside the concerns of the politicians and government, the greedy and self-serving, and focus solely on our most cherished treasure, our little children, red and yellow, black and white — Oh so precious in His sight.

Al Franken accused of kissing, groping LA TV host without consent

A California TV host and sports radio broadcaster on Thursday accused Democratic Sen. Al Franken of kissing and groping her without her consent in 2006.

 

Leeann Tweeden posted a blog detailing the alleged incident and also tweeted a picture of what seems to be a grinning Franken standing over her as she sleeps, pretending to grab her breasts.

 

 

 

Franken said he doesn’t remember the kissing incident but apologized for posing for the picture. He said he intended it to be funny — but it wasn’t.

 

“I certainly don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann,” Franken said in an initial statement. “As to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn’t. I shouldn’t have done it.”

 

Tweeden says she was disgusted to learn she was groped as she slept (Reuters) 

 

Franken later issued a detailed statement saying there’s “no excuse” and he feels “ashamed,” while also offering to cooperate in an ethics investigation into the matter.

 

“I respect women. I don’t respect men who don’t. And the fact that my own actions have given people a good reason to doubt that makes me feel ashamed,” Franken said. “… I don’t know what was in my head when I took that picture, and it doesn’t matter. There’s no excuse.”

 

He added, “I am asking that an ethics investigation be undertaken, and I will gladly cooperate.”

 

Tweeden said the abuse took place during a USO Tour in Afghanistan.

 

The radio host came forward in a shocking open letter on blog (Reuters)

 

Franken, a former writer for “Saturday Night Live,” wrote a sketch for the tour in which his character kisses hers on stage. He was an Air America radio host at the time of the incident. He was elected ot the U.S. Senate in 2008.

 

Tweeden said Franken repeatedly pressured her to practice the kiss backstage and at one point forcibly kissed her.

 

“I immediately pushed him away with both of my hands against his chest and told him if he ever did that to me again I wouldn’t be so nice about it the next time,” she wrote. “I walked away. All I could think about was getting to a bathroom as fast as possible to rinse the taste of him out of my mouth.”

 

Tweeden said she felt “disgusted and violated” – and that the abuse didn’t stop there.

 

A photographer, who was with them on their C-17 cargo plane ride back home, snapped a picture of what looks to be a sleeping Tweeden, still wearing her flak vest and Kevlar helmet, and a grinning Franken appearing to grab her breasts.

 

“I couldn’t believe it,” she wrote. “He groped me, without my consent, while I was asleep. I felt violated all over again. Embarrassed. Belittled. Humiliated. How dare anyone grab my breasts like this and think it’s funny?”

 

Tweeden said she thinks Franken asked someone to take the photo “knowing I would see it later, and be ashamed.”

 

The accusations against Franken come on the heels of an avalanch of allegations out of Capitol Hill on sexual harassment and gender hostility. Multiple incidents out of D.C. and other state houses have shed light on the dificulties [sic] victims facewhen trying to report their accusers.

 

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the Ethics Committee should review the matter.

 

“I hope the Democratic Leader will join me on this,” McConnell wrote in a statement. “Regardless of party, harassment and assault are completely unacceptable – in the workplace or anywhere else.”

 

About 1,500 former Capitol Hill aides have signed an open letter to House and Senate leaders demanding that Congress put in place mandatory harassment training. They’re also calling to revamp the Office of Compliance, a small office that deals with these complaints and that few knew even existed.
