Reminiscing My Inspiration to Blog

I am writing this on New Year’s Eve 2022 (and probably completing 1/1/23). The initial spark inspiring me to blog happened on September 11, 2001 when Muslim terrorists hijacked airliners in U.S. airspace and flew them to NY City, Washington DC and one crashed in Pennsylvania.

To be clear I’m not entering disputes if the Jets caused the Twin Towers collapse or Pentagon damage or if the corrupt U.S. government (or corrupt elements of a clandestine nature) detonated the destruction to trigger the Military Industrial Complex to be able to conduct a Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). Early on I laughed and scoffed at the latter notion, now-a-days I place my finger on my chin and wonder.

Regardless of any finger pointing of who started or manipulated what, it is irrefutable that a group of terrorists subscribing to the literal tenants (because if you’re a good Muslim, the Quran is absolute) of Islam participated in killing Americans they believed to non-Muslim Christians and Jews.

If or when history unravels the sources of manipulation behind the Muslim terrorist attack on American soil is irrelevant to me when it comes to understanding Islam as a Christian that believes Jesus IS the Son of God, was Crucified to death, was buried for three days and Resurrected bodily to Life Saving ALL who BELIEVE. Good Muslim following his-her Quran, Hadith and Sira believes I am worthy of death for such a Christian belief.

You will get a clear understanding on my feelings that Islam is an evil threat to not only all things not Muslim but to Christians and Jews in particular.

If you are a Christian or Jews you MUST understand a Muslim WILL NOT share a central Islamic theological term called ABROGATION. Indeed, since Muslim Clerics tell their listeners only what they feel will make a person a good Muslim, there is an outstanding chance a Muslim will not comprehend the impact of “Abrogation” themselves. Muslims and those whom Muslims will try to persuade to submit to Islam will tell you, “Islam is peace.” IT IS NOT! The Website The Religion of Peace (a place you should spend some to understand the actual Islam) has a pretty good compendium of violence in the Quran aimed at non-Muslims in this current state of exist before the hereafter comes to a person (What Does Islam Teach About…Violence):

Does the Quran really contain over a hundred verses that sanction violence?

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that speak of war with nonbelievers, usually on the basis of their status as non-Muslims. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called ‘hypocrites’ and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to balance out those calling for nonbelievers to be fought and subdued until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are killed. Muhammad’s own martial legacy, along with the remarkable emphasis on violence found in the Quran, have produced a trail of blood and tears across world history.

When Muslims communicate to non-Muslims in Western nations still protected by the rule of law, Muslims will emphasize the “very few verses of tolerance and peace”. In Muslim nations that emphasize Sharia Law as the rule of law, the only protection non-Muslims have absolute servile submission to the diktats of Islam or suffer horrible consequences which could be a legal death or mob-rule death where the legal authorities look the other way. THIS IS WHERE ABROGATION enters the picture to either lie to non-Muslims or justify acts of violence against non-Muslims.

Way back in 2014 I cross posted Raymond Ibrahim’s “Islamic Jihad and the Doctrine of Abrogation” (amazingly the embedded source links still function – I checked) at SlantRight 2.0. Here is an excerpt on ABROGATION:

… No careful reader will remain unaware of the many contradictory verses in the Koran, most specifically the way in which peaceful and tolerant verses lie almost side by side with violent and intolerant ones. The ulema were initially baffled as to which verses to codify into the Shari’a worldview—the one that states there is no coercion in religion (2:256), or the ones that command believers to fight all non-Muslims till they either convert, or at least submit, to Islam (8:39, 9:5, 9:29). To get out of this quandary, the commentators developed the doctrine of abrogation, which essentially maintains that verses revealed later in Muhammad’s career take precedence over earlier ones whenever there is a discrepancy. The reason you should understand ABROGATION Islamic theology because if you ever wade through that document, it is not compiled in historical order. Rather the Quran is arranged by Surah (a Christian might equate a surah to a chapter) size – longest to shortest:

Now I come to the point which I owe the reader an explanation for reminiscing about my early days of Counterjihad blogging.

A couple of weeks ago I received an email from Paul Sutliff AT Gmail address asking me to share five video posts from the Youtube channel operated by Eric Brazau. And I was actually going to post those videos as my Counterjihad reminiscence. The videos are relatively short. As I watched them my take is their theme was about liberal Muslims taking a stand to reform the violent practices espoused in Islamic revered writings to emphasize the abrogated peace and tolerance writings in Islamic revered writings.

On a personal level, as long as Muhammad is lifted up as the perfect infallible prophet of Islam, Islam will be unreformable. Sadly, according to Islamic revered writings, reform-minded Muslims are committing heresy and so are worthy of death in this life. Reform-Minded Muslims should watch their back.

After I let Paul Sutliff I was sharing the Brazau videos, he sent me a video from his Rumble Channel (SutliffReport) under the title, “Apologetics Part 7: Islam”. On Tuesday, a lawsuit was filed against the Biden administration and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, accusing them of supplying money to the Palestinians who pay terrorists and their families for killing Israelis and Americans. Biden and Blinken gave the Palestinians $500 million dollars. According to a Palestinian source, the government paid out the same year, $181 million was paid out to terrorists and their families for committing terrorist attacks against Israelis and Americans.

President Trump halted all aid to the Palestinians until they ended their “Pay to Slay” program for terrorists. Taylor Force, a 28-year-old U.S. Army veteran, was murdered by Palestinian terrorists while he was on a study program in Israel. Former President Donald Trump and Congress passed the Taylor Force Act in 2017. That act prevents the United States from sending money to the Palestinians used to reward terrorists. Biden and Blinken knew giving the money was illegal, but since they are Democrats, they figured being illegal doesn’t matter.

Taylor Force’s father said:

“Our role in the lawsuit is as it was in our efforts to enact the original Taylor Force Act – to put a human face on the horrific effects of the Palestinian Authority’s Pay for Slay policy. Multiply the devastating loss of our beloved son Taylor by the hundreds of Israeli families that have also been impacted by this inhumane atrocity of Pay for Slay and you will understand why we are committed to ending the flow of US dollars to the PA.”

“If [Biden and Blinken] understood what motivates Israel’s enemies, the elimination of the State of Israel, I would think they would stop any funding that could possibly find its way into the wrong hands. Aside from the increased rocket barrages, tunnel construction, and increased frequency of attacks on innocent civilians when ‘foreign aid’ increases, the money is used in its widespread PR campaign to incite violence and foment hatred of Israel and the United States.”

The complaint stated:

“The defendants took power on January 20, 2021, with a new plan: Transfer hundreds of millions of dollars from U.S. taxpayers to the Palestinian Authority despite Pay to Slay and contrary to the Taylor Force Act. Contrary to law, they have transferred nearly half a billion American taxpayer dollars to directly benefit and subsidize the Palestinian Authority.”

The lawsuit, which was filed by America First Legal Foundation, argued that the Biden administration sent large sums of money to the Palestinian Authority, a government that has supported paying terrorists who commit acts of violence against Israelis via the PA Martyrs Fund. The program, also referred to as “Pay to Slay,” is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of U.S. and Israeli citizens.

Taylor Force, a 28-year-old U.S. Army veteran, was murdered by Palestinian terrorists while on a graduate program trip to Israel. In response to the atrocity, former President Donald Trump and Congress passed the Taylor Force Act in 2017, which prevents U.S. taxpayer dollars from going to the PA until the regime ends its “Pay to Slay” policy.

The lawsuit argues that the Biden administration has continued to send funds despite the legislation. After announcing in May 2020 that he planned to restore funding to the PA, Biden signed off on over $360 million to the PA the following year.

A State Department spokesperson told the DCNF, “As a matter of practice, we do not comment on pending litigation.”

The White House did not respond to a request for comment, the DCNF reported.

Bussel Responds to Email Distorting Jewish Attacks against Christians in Israel

A quote from Ari Bussel wondering about indigenous born Arab Christians in the Middle East and Israel:

If given a choice to live in the Jewish State or under Arab/Palestinian/Iranian/Muslim rule, they will never choose the latter. And yet, they criticize and malign Israel. I have never understood why so very few of them find the courage or exhibit the characteristics they preach to stand up and defend Israel; unless they think that they have a future at all if Israel will cease to exist.

In this post submitted by Ari is lengthy valid response to an email Ari received pointing to an article about Jews attacking Christians in Israel and a Black-American Bishop who immigrated to Israel acting as if Jewish attack are the norm rather than the exception but with zero mention of Muslims persecuting Christians causing a depopulation in Judea-Samaria.

And another matter: Jews were persecuted 2,000 years before the birth of Jesus (raised as a Jew) and SADLY Jews have been persecuted by Christians (and other groups) for another 2,000-plus years. Is there any wonder there is Jewish mistrust of Christian motives?

Then there is the sad phenomenon that the millennia of Christians that themselves have survived Muslim persecuting practices have lived under the brainwashing tactics under Dhimmitude one of submitting to Quranic induced Jew-hatred.

Those are my thoughts, but Ari Bussel is much more erudite than I in dispelling essentially a Christian camp leaning into Antisemitism.

[Blog Editor: After reading the post associated with the link, it is my humble opinion the Bishop is criticizing the persecution of ALL Christians in Israel but is particularly disturbed by Jewish animus toward Israeli Christians. On a personal level when the Bishop talks of Christian persecution he makes zero reference to the Muslim persecution of Christians particularly in the Judea-Samaria (rudely labeled West Bank or Palestinian Authority controlled land) where huge numbers of Christians have been reduced by persecution via Muslims against Christians.  Here is the link’s headline, opening and first paragraph and skip a few paragraphs where the Bishop decries the treatment of Black Americans not a part of the email:

An Evangelical bishop backed a statement issued by the heads of traditional Christian churches in the Holy Land, saying that the time for remaining silent is over in the face of radicalized hatred and attacks on Christians and their holy places.

Plummer, spoke with ALL ISRAEL NEWS after attending a New Year’s reception hosted by Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Wednesday, where Herzog welcomed the leaders of several denominations in Israel – from Catholic and Coptic to Greek and Armenian Orthodox along with leaders of Evangelical ministries in the land.

The reception came a few weeks after these same denominational leaders issued a statement condemning racist acts against Christians in Israel, including “countless incidents of physical and verbal assaults against priests and other clergy, attacks on Christian churches, with holy sites regularly vandalized and desecrated, and ongoing intimidation of local Christians who simply seek to worship freely and go about their daily lives.”

“The White Evangelical leadership and organizations have tried to keep it quiet because they don’t want backlash against Israel – our mutual adversaries will take that and use it against Israel,” Plummer said. “But secondly, it’s also out of fear. It’s out of fear that if they take a public position, that these guys will show up at their door as well.”

But Plummer said that as “Bishop of Israel for the largest Black church in the world, we know what discrimination and racism feels like in America.”

Happy 2022 Ellie and Pablo!

PREFACE

In recent years, there is a phenomenon of developers coming to Beverly Hills and telling us – active and caring residents of decades – what is good for our City (they really mean what is good for them). Most regrettably, the two most notable examples that come to mind are of Jewish developers. About one’s behavior I wrote before Yom Kippur many years ago (he has boycotted me ever since); the other is a recent comer, and in a Rabbi-supervised dialogue between us, he was astonished when I described his behavior as Rosh Katan (small head, i.e., limiting one’s behavior to what is most narrowly excusable or the minimum required). If it were not for the respect to the Rabbi, I would have immediately been declared Public Enemy No. 1.

Similarly, an American Black Evangelical Leader moves to Israel with his wife during the Great Pandemic. On its face, anyone familiar with Israeli immigration requirements would find this fascinating. In an extremely short period of time, this person is being embraced by the Israeli political elite, which has been courting Christians for a long time now.

So why would anyone point out the fact the Evangelical leader is Black? Because he uses the color of the skin, or the Race Card, a most common phenomenon in the USA of President Obama and President Biden. The leader brings with him from the USA the current culture of accusations that “America is systematically racist” and that “all White males are racist” as well as floating into the air “White Supremacists” and “Domestic Terrorism” and other like buzz words that divide rather than unite the country.

He then applies it toward a new landscape, accusing his new host country of the very same evils. True or not, this does not matter. The objective is not to improve anything that might need improvement, to highlight real issues and work on real solutions; rather it is to sow discord and distrust. When catchy lies (half a sentence long to maximum a sentence long) are floated to the air, it is very difficult to disprove them. The bigger the lie, the easier it becomes an accepted truth.

I have dedicated the past quarter of a century, if not longer, to building bridges between Christians and Jews. It is a most tedious work, one stone at a time, brick after brick. We stand proud of the distance traversed thus far in Judeo-Christian relations. And this most formidable fort that was erected is attracting opposition, attempt after attempt to tear it down, much like what happened with the First and Second Temples.

To this very day Jews fast four times a year to remember the destruction that took place two millennia ago. We remember the past in order not to repeat it. Today, in a slightly different context, we face the very same division and forces that threaten our unity and very survival.

Let us stand united in our conviction, in our team experience and mutual respect and expel from within us those who want to weaken our defenses, to accuse us of wrongdoing where there is none and to spread confusion among us. Let us remain focused on what is important, on what God wants from us, and we will be able to separate truth from fiction, reality from lies, good intentions from evil ones.

The Newcomer to Israel may not have any insidious intentions. He may simply be bringing with him and echoing loudly a current-day American culture that has gone wild, in the wrong direction. This should not be welcomed in Israel, for we have enough enemies – internal and external – and we do not need to be distracted by more unjust, undeserving and untrue attacks.

A Reply to Your Query

The article cited below [Blog Editor: And quoted in brief form above] is not anti in any direct sense of the word to which we are accustomed; but it is dangerous nonetheless.

(1) Lies Told Often Enough

What I hear when I read this article is a huge choir repeating a chorus. It is heard in the background, like distant drums, and as it gets closer, the noise becomes frightening, overwhelming, most dangerous. In my mind’s eye I hear repeated accusations, drums beating:  White Supremacists, Haters, Racists and Domestic Terrorists (characteristic of the US), Settlers, Occupation and Jesus at the Checkpoint (to give a taste of Israel). There is no terrorism, there are no acts of terror, just Israeli-soldiers, Nazi-like, restricting movement and life in general.

Equally alarming, I hear transposition of reality, blaming the Jews for what others are doing. How very typical to the Middle East!

I am beginning to feel deja vu:  taking a reality, transposing it and floating the lie over and over and over again so that people are convinced it is the truth. Just to name a few examples:  Mossad agents are the evildoers in any current prime-time TV series in the US while Muslims are the sexy, smart, good-doers. Mossad perpetrated the 9/11 Attacks. Islam is a peaceful religion and Jihad is a quest for peace. Israelis are the new Nazis. Israel wants to topple down or burn the Al Aqsa Mosque. And more appropriately to this discussion:  Settlers uproot olive groves, Settlers steal the water of Palestinians, Settlers allow sewage to flow into nature (that clearly belongs to the Palestinian), Settlers burn Palestinian homes and murder their Palestinian neighbors and so forth. Soon to come:  Settlers shoot at Palestinian cars and stub innocent 80-year-old ladies walking in the street or run cars into people standing at bus stops.

In Bethlehem, under Palestinian Authority rule (Israelis are not allowed), the Christian population dwindled down to less than 2%, and yet this article refers us to a previous statement about Israel, not about PA-ruled Bethlehem:  the Christian population has decreased from 20% at its height to less than 2% now. In reality, though, the number of Christians in Israel continues to increase, but why let the facts confuse us?

(2) Attention Seekers

The actions described are reflective, in part, of an attention-seeking Bishop. He has just arrived, and he is already charging and leading a fight to reform Israel, to save the Evangelical Christians who live there (and maybe to save Israel from herself!).

I am immediately reminded of another self-proclaimed prominent Christian Leader.

Remember when Netanyahu lost after four election cycles within two years, and a new coalition government was formed (the current government under Bennett)?

One Christian leader who published dozens of books and has a museum and a communications center in Jerusalem went all out against Bennett and the new government. He was so self-absorbed in his momentary madness, that he threatened to unleash tens of millions of Christians from around the world AGAINST Israel, bringing into question not his sanity but the essence of his support. [Those who support Israel do so not only so long as their interests are well served. He who threatens to unleash powers against Israel better remember that it is a declaration of war against God Lord of Hosts Himself (which should come with a health warning).]  Since then, Mike Evans calmed down and returned to his senses. Any contrition shown might have been more for public consumption.

Then a new Leader and his wife arrived to Israel, and in short time claimed a position of prominence. I wonder how this happened so quickly and so very easily, there is something unnatural about it. Perhaps I am a skeptic (I likewise treat Mike Evans’s claim of having tens of millions of followers with some respect and some doubt).

What I do know, though, is that this leader has utilized the color of his skin and his title (not to be confused with the more commonly-used title of Bishop in the Catholic Church), as well as God the Almighty Himself, something that is NOT in our hands and should never be done. If God wants to support someone, He knows how to do so. It is not by the person’s self-proclamations.

What is most alarming, is that this is not the first battle cry in so many months. Bishop Plummer was a guest speaker at the Christian Media Summit in Jerusalem, and there too he criticizes, something that might have gone unnoticed by many. After all, it is a new virus unrecognized by the Body Israel (like CoVid-19 which was unrecognized by the human body).

(3) Let’s Get the Facts Straight

In this article, let me first touch on a point of history:  The President’s meeting and reception with Christian leaders (real, locally-established leaders – unlike the self-anointed, instant new-comers who were kindly invited to join as welcomed guests) has been going on since the formation of the Modern State of Israel.

In fact, the inclusion of Bishop Plummer evidences Israel’s constant quest for making an outreach and finding leaders of the other side (in this instance, Christians, for their holiest time of the year).  Bishop Plummer mistakenly seems to think this tradition was created in his honor.

Israel always paid the utmost respect to other religions; much to its own detriment.

Next time you are in Jerusalem, you may want to visit the Jerusalem Residence of Yitzchak Ben Zvi, Israel’s 2nd president (1952 – 1963). At a time that Israel did not have means and was struggling to survive, he (and his wife) thought it would be most appropriate to be at a humble abode, a shack. There he hosted dignitaries from the entire world.

A family member of ours served at the President’s residence under Ben Zvi, and his son took us on a tour there in November 2019. Among the pix on the walls, there are pix of President Ben Zvi hosting the Christian leaders in Israel. There is nothing new under the sun, and such meetings/receptions were not for the sake of photo-op, rather real of intention, reflective of an attitude and a reality on the ground. Their mere existence evidence the importance given by Israel to cultivating a two-way relationship, at times of need and at time of joy.

So for a newcomer to teach us that the current president’s opening the residence for such a reception is a sign in the right direction simply shows that new-comer is under the mistaken illusion that life and reality commenced upon his most recent arrival, and thus that things revolve around him.  Not so.

(4) Truth vs. Evil Fiction

If one is under the impression, after reading this article, that Christians are persecuted in Israel, or that it is commonplace for a Christian believer in Israel to be threatened or to be afraid, or for churches to be vandalized and desecrated, such are false and most dangerous accusations.

If something like that happens, and should file a police report. Then another. And another. This will create a track record, an audit trail, and it will not go unnoticed.  

In Israel it would prompt individuals and non-profits to immediate action. It would give them pleasure and an occupation. It would provide a point about which to argue and fight. This is, before all, Israel!

But to generalize and claim that it is commonplace in Israel is a frightening misrepresentation of reality. There are so many places of non-Jewish worship, and they are all part of the tapestry that is Israel. They are protected under the law and in practice, but more so, they are the commonplace throughout Israel. That is exactly the reason that Bahai, Ahmadi, Druze, Armenian, Greek-Orthodox and so very many other minorities find Israel to be the only safe haven throughout the Middle East and the African continent.

So what is one to learn from this article? That Evangelical Christians are persecuted in Israel, disrespected, not allowed to practice freely, maybe crucified? Do those Evangelical Christians (and all other Christians) who chose to live in Israel even aware of the conditions described? Do they share the experiences?

Why would Christians who live in Israel for a very long time not utter a word when we meet each year? They have not been shy about anything, except what should be most important (life and safety)?

If the situation is so bad, how is it that everyone waited for Bishop Plummer to arrive to Israel to discover the horrible truth and lead the fight to change it? Is he the only one that can see, the only one that has the courage and power to act? Maybe a mashiach has finally arrived to the Holy Land?  I am sorry if this sounds disrespectful, but I cannot reconcile what I have witnessed year after year after year for decades with what someone who has moved to Israel less than two years ago claims is a real pandemic. Either I am blind, deaf and dumb – I am not – or something is really wrong in the accusations brought forth. And thus, Pablo, I turn to your question about this article and what might be behind it.

(5) Israel’s Detractors

Dr. Nankin hosted at his home one of the leaders of the Coptic Church (there is a large community in Los Angeles) following unfavorable statements by the Coptic Pope regarding Israel some years ago. While I can understand why the Coptic Pope in Egypt may not have favorable things to say about Israel, as his fiduciary responsibility is first and foremost to his people who are persecuted, arrested, tortured and murdered and will be at even greater risk if he dares say anything positive about Israel, I cannot understand Christian Arabs in Israel.  

Maybe Bishop Plummer only hears what those who speak with a forked tongue have to say?

Christian Arabs know that the only place they can worship freely and safely in the entire area called the greater Middle East and the African continent is the Jewish State of Israel.

The only place where Christians are safe in this entire region is under Jewish rule of law, practice and traditions.  

Christian Arabs know that they will have to pay a Dhimmitude tax and live as second-class citizens anywhere else throughout the Muslim world. They fled from Bethlehem. They fled from Lebanon. They fled from Iran and Iraq. In fact, if the (Catholic) Pope stood by them, they would have fled Africa rather than die there. Apparently, they are not really welcome anywhere in the entire region, except in Israel.  This is why their numbers in this only safe haven grow constantly.

If given a choice to live in the Jewish State or under Arab/Palestinian/Iranian/Muslim rule, they will never choose the latter. And yet, they criticize and malign Israel. I have never understood why so very few of them find the courage or exhibit the characteristics they preach to stand up and defend Israel; unless they think that they have a future at all if Israel will cease to exist.

Is it possible that after 74 years of “Suffering” after the “Great Catastrophe,” Christians in Israel finally have a messiah who has arrived on a white donkey to rescue them from bondage? Maybe, like the Hebrews in Egypt, they did not even understand their plight, and a new Moses has arrived to deliver them to freedom?

The story of Moses took place thousands of years ago, and Christians in Israel enjoy freedoms that can be found nowhere else. The only Messiah we are all waiting to reveal Himself is not a flesh and blood who has arrived with his First Lady to Israel during the Great Pandemic. To this point I can attest with my life.

(6) Addressing the Claims – Let’s examine the situation on the ground 

Is it possible that there are those Jewish Israelis who are hesitant, cautious or even unwelcoming to Christians in Israel? Of course. There is a two millennium history of Jewish persecution, of blaming us for the Crucifixion, of blood libels directed at us and using Jews as scapegoats. There is a very noticeable effort of proselytizing Jews by Christians in Israel. This causes the sensitivity, suspicion and distrust to increase.

These are issues we work to address, one small step forward at a time, brick after brick.

When on Israel’s Independence Day, at the heart of Tel Aviv, people are accosted by attempts to lure them to leave their Jewish home and replace it with another, it causes concern. When Israelis are approached both directly and covertly in an attempt to convert them, the foundations of the bridge being built during the last twenty some years – this hyphen between Judeo and Christian – shake.

But the overwhelming feeling is that of coming together, not apart. We know our past. We understand the dangers of the present. And we raise our eyes to the future, all pre-told in our Bible. We are very sensitive to it all, and we take baby steps, one after the other.  Today we are running together, long distances. We have become a team. Dependable, trustworthy, inseparable. 

Even the most Orthodox Jewish religious leaders are opening to conversation, if not outright direct relations with our Christian brethren. It is a new day, a most magnificent day in the making, and the first rays of sun are most encouraging.

From the Prime Minister to the President of Israel, past and present, members of the Knesset, religious, business and other leaders, Israel joins in extending a hand to Christians in Israel and throughout the world. Christians realize that without their roots, the Old Testament, they cease to exist; without a certain Jewish Rabbi, they cannot exist. And thus we stand one entire, blessed body, roots to leaves, proud and most grateful.

If the situation is as Bishop Plummer describes, we will all go out to change it. But we have not been late arrivals to the scene. We have been in the trenches for two decades and longer, and we still know to differentiate between cow manure and the smell of citrus blossom. We will not allow false prophets with an agenda to cast an evil spell on us. Instead, we will continue fighting side-by-side with others, Jews and Christians together, arm in arm, one protecting the other, against all attacks. Our very survival is at stake, and our enemies know that the only way for them to prevail is to sow doubt and confusion. We have to make sure this does not succeed!

Twenty-years ago seems like yesterday when it comes to the Islamic Terrorist attack of 9/11 on American. I remember the hot anger I felt after realizing the attack came due to the hatred of American Liberty and Religious Liberty. And I am saddened I have grandchildren who are clueless toward foreign and ideological attacks that take American lives. Justin Smith revived those memories.

September 11th In America, Then and Now

Twenty years ago on September 11th 2001, Americans endured the worst attack against our homeland anyone had ever witnessed in our entire history, and many of us had hot tears of anger streaming down our faces, as the horror of it all evoked a wide array of emotions, from fear to sorrow to anger. And we swore we would “Never Forget”. We swore to hunt down the perpetrators of this [JOS] heinous terrorist attack against America, the Al Qaeda, and eradicate them and to proceed to ensure that nothing similar would ever occur. 

All these years later, I recall watching the jet airliners crashing into the Twin Towers, in real time, on the television, questioning the moment of the first impact until I saw the second jet flying low turn toward the second tower like a heat seeking missile, and I still have the sensation of the hot tears of anger on my cheeks as the Towers fell that fateful morning as I understood I had just witnessed murder most foul. I remember the thousands of our fellow Americans, innocent people just going about their days business, trapped in the World Trade Center’s towers and waiting for a rescue that didn’t come, as scores of people leaped from the towers to their deaths to escape the inferno that followed. I recall hearing the messages saved for all posterity that were sent to loved ones in recordings and phone calls from the passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 filled with love, hope and sadness, with some noting the likelihood of their death.

The strongest, richest, most modern and powerful country in the world, America was vulnerable that morning precisely because of its strength, its new found love of the society killing multiculturalism and its respect for all its people and visitors. So when those Sons of Allah showed up from Saudi Arabia, the United Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon, nobody told them they couldn’t attend flight training. Nobody told those terrorists in training who followed they couldn’t enroll in our universities to study chemistry and biology and those things necessary for waging bacteriological warfare, even when they suspicioned they might try to dose our reservoirs and unleash a horrible and deadly disaster on us. Our strength was also the weakness that allowed them to attack our science and technology by hijacking jets to attack the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, American symbols of wealth, modernity and power.

Now, twenty years later, those of us who recognized the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon as an escalation of the war against America and, in fact, against Western civilization by Islam and its allies, and swore we would “Never Forget”, are angry to see so many Americans have actually forgotten or no longer care. We’re angry that after four previous U.S. presidents swore to destroy Al Qaeda, even going so far as to suggest they had destroyed Al Qaeda on several occasions, a feckless, criminally negligent, treasonous and cowardly Biden regime has allowed the Taliban and Al Qaeda to come back even stronger and better armed than before and exponentially better positioned to wreak havoc and commit more acts of terror against America and Europe than it was in 2001, a basic betrayal of everything that has gone before us and a betrayal of the memory of all the victims of the September 11th attacks.

We should Never Forget September 11th 2001, and we should never forget Biden’s betrayal of the [JOS] memory of the two thousand nine-hundred and seventy-seven Americans who were murdered by Al Qaeda terrorists, as six airplanes loaded with Americans and Afghan SIVs are [JOS] currently being held hostage by the Taliban at Mazar-i-Sharif, about 426 miles north of Kabul and 255 miles south of Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The Taliban are refusing to let them leave, to gain more concessions and money from the Biden regime, even though they have been cleared by the U.S. State Department and an airport is on standby to receive them in Qatar. 

There are no tears today, but I’m angrier than I’ve ever been over the past few week’s events and now this new development, of which all could have been prevented, if only we had competent people in our government and our military leadership, who didn’t now actually think they could cooperate with the Taliban in the future, suggested by General Milley in a recent news conference. However, all America will shed a flood of tears, if our stranded Americans die at the hands of the Taliban or Al Qaeda, due to some new miscalculation by the idiots of the Biden regime, especially so close to the 20th Anniversary of the 9/11 Attacks.

It’s purely surreal that America has gone from declaring it would totally defeat the Taliban and Al Qaeda, very nearly completing the job at one time, to appeasing them, emboldening them, strengthening them and even begging them for their cooperation, as the Taliban flag now flies over what was once the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan.

Imagine sitting on that tarmac in Mazar-i-Sharif in fear for your life and wondering if anyone is coming to rescue you, to save your life, not knowing if you will be taken off the plane and executed and the next hour or minute might mark your last moments of earth. Any harm or deaths of Americans at this point will fall directly on Biden and his regime, to be remembered for all time as another miserable betrayal.

We’ve arrived at this destination largely from a misshaped and erroneous understanding of Islam and the Middle East and Central Asia. Although many of the seemingly so-called “moderate” Muslims might have jealously eyed the modernization of the West, they desired to attain a modern Islamic society through Islamic led initiatives on national and global stages, and ultimately they’ve always hated the West, our freedoms and all America represents, despite any propaganda to the contrary. They hate the West still today, simply because it exists and largely due to the defeats it has handed Islam, from Malta to Spain [Important Battle & lengthy Reconquista] to Vienna on and near September 11th over the centuries; especially the defeat by the Polish King Jan III Sobieski who claimed his victory at Vienna on September 12th 1683 a victory for Christianity and gave thanks to Our Lady of Czestochowa, the Black Madonna.

There’s also the other aspect of this dynamic, in the alliance that has existed between America’s Communists and many in the Democratic Party and the adherents and numerous advocates for Islam in America, largely since the 1970s but especially with the creation of the [JOS] Muslim American Society in 1993 and several other organizations such as the [JOS] Islamic Society of North America. These traitors have attempted to raise the supremacist dogma of Islam and Marx to the same level with our Western and Christian virtues and principles, demanding they be made equal; but they never mention any other religion in the same vein of thought, not for the Buddhists, Hindus, Confucianists, Greek and Russian Orthodox or anybody else. At the same time, they rail against “the American imperialists” and “the Israel occupation” and spit on the memories of many fine men and women who fought to regain or safeguard the Freedom and Liberty they currently enjoy, during two world wars and numerous lesser conflicts just as deadly and bloody. Yes, the American Leftist bastards have become the good ally of the Islamic bastards who want to kill or enslave you and me, the normal average American patriot, in the name of their contrived, false “god” Allah.

Isn’t it sad and reprehensible to see? The American Leftists have waved their rainbow flag for the past two decades to protest every honest step any administration has ever made to keep America safe. But hypocrites that they are, the world never sees them wave their rainbow flags to condemn Islamic terrorism and those who use suicide bombs and remote controlled bombs and improvised explosive devices to kill Americans and Westerners, or the imams and mullahs who preach jihad and “holy war” against America, while smiling and hiding behind a facade of peace.

More the rule seen across Islam than the exception, George Habash, the head of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine stated in the 1970s that their revolution was not confined to Palestine and was a world-wide initiative. Although I am a Christian, I lay no particular claim to being a very good one. I especially have trouble with the precepts of turning the other cheek and forgiveness, when faced with particularly egregious and heinous violations against me or mine and all that I love.

America and every president involved in the Afghanistan Theater spent far too much time worrying about the politics of the thing, instead of going into the country and turning its landscape red with the blood of the Taliban and Al Qaeda, killing everyone in their families, everyone who they ever called “friend”, anyone who ever conducted business with them, and even their goats and sheep. Instead of showing them any mercy, we should have made damned certain they were completely and definitively defeated, in the manner of Nagasaki and Dresden, and saved the mercy and benevolence for last. 

Trying to fight a war with one hand tied behind our back and as a supporting force to the Afghan national Army is exactly why we are now faced with another dismal situation as we look to soon commemorate and honor those who died on September 11th 2001, whether they were the innocent civilians caught in a freak twist of fate or the good men and women of the first responders, the policemen and firemen, who answered the call that day and tried to save as many people as they could. 

September 11th draws close and on the morning of, I’ll recall that the CIA had forewarning of the attack and failed to see the urgency in making certain the FBI and our military were fully apprised and aware of the possibility that such an attack was imminent. I’ll remember the passengers of the four airliners that were transformed into bombs, and especially those little children, like the four year old little girl, [JOS] Juliana Valentine McCourt, whose tiny body was destroyed when United Airlines Flight 175 slammed into the South Tower and disintegrated. I’ll remember the heroes of Flight 93 who fought the Islamic Jihadi terrorist and prevented the airliner from being flown into the White House. I’ll remember those people working in the Twin Towers and the Pentagon and all the firemen who died trying to save them, and I will light a candle and say a long prayer for them all.

I’ve never forgotten that from start to finish nearly an hour and a half had elapsed. By 10:03 A.M., nearly 3,000 innocent Americans — loved ones, friends, and neighbors — were dead. 

I’ve never forgotten that a unified cry of “Allahu Akbar” was heard reverberating throughout the Islamic world that day, as Muslims laughed, rejoiced and celebrated the catastrophe, misery, pain and grief that fell upon America, in much the same manner as they celebrated the Taliban’s recent victory over the U.S.

I’ve never forgotten nor forgiven, and I never will. I understand who and what killed our people on September 11th 2001; and just as sure as I am that they will come for us again, I know history and America isn’t through with them yet. 

And in the meantime, I’ll be praying for the living and our fine American souls currently held hostage in Afghanistan, in hopes that some group, any group, is able to effect their deliverance and the safe release and safe passage home for them, in a manner that seems to be beyond Biden and his useless anti-American regime, that brays one meaningless assurance after another, placing the onus on the trapped Americans and making it clear that Biden has essentially washed his hands of the entire sorry, sordid affair. I’ll pray that America won’t find another occasion in the coming days to cry hot tears, or tears of any kind, due to one more American death at the hands of Al Qaeda or the Taliban, on September 11th 2021 or any other day in the near future.

Biden’s Afghan Refugee Program Endangers America

Taliban Joe Doesn’t Give a Damn About Americans

Americans see the pictures of the Afghan women and their little children and feel sympathy for their plight, and this is being played to the last card to persuade Americans of the need for us all to accept a massive invasion of largely unvetted Afghan refugees and an unacceptable national security risk. Very few actually qualify for Special Immigration Visas, and many more are either criminals such as Ghader Heydari, a convicted rapist previously deported from America, or actual terrorists who killed our own soldiers and “refugees” on the terror watch list, like the one detected at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar; and, as such, America’s good people mustn’t allow Taliban Joe, a dishonest, lying, elitist anti-American to use his military failure in Afghanistan [JOS] as an excuse to bring thousands of more people into America, who hold views largely antithetical to America’s virtues and principles, to advance his and the Democratic Party’s agenda to further dismantle America, when they can and should be just as easily resettled in some other Islamic country of their own choosing.

The Afghan people are comprised of numerous tribes, such as the Pashtun, Kyrgyz, Arab, Turkmen, Baloch, Tajik, Uzbek and others, Sunni and Shiite Muslims, that were loosely held under control through most of the 20th century under a monarchy, until approximately 1963 when a Maoist movement rolled across the country and caused a great deal more unrest. But they have warred among themselves for centuries, as well as against all outsiders, and the war Biden says he ended will go on for many long decades yet, perhaps centuries, with the exception that America will remain its primary target. So let Afghan wishing to escape bide their time during a complete security screening somewhere else, like Tajikistan or Pakistan, anywhere else other than a U.S. military base or some city in fly-over America.

During the September 1st news conference, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated that the U.S. military had evacuated a total of six thousand Americans. That would suggest there could be as many as five thousand Americans still left stranded as real live Taliban hostages, when one recalls the lowest figure given at the beginning of evacuation operations was eleven thousand Americans were there In Country, with a high confidence that as many as 40,000 total were spread across Afghanistan. Austin also noted that 120,000 Afghan nationals were evacuated, which reveals that 95 percent of the evacuees were not Americans. 

The question all American patriots must be screaming over the phone to their Congressmen and anybody else in high office they can reach is: “Why wasn’t the greatest, most intense effort expended towards getting our fellow Americans out of Afghanistan, rather than focusing so much on the Afghanis?”

At best, it was an extremely difficult, very nearly impossible, task for U.S. soldiers to attempt to properly and fully vet all the Afghan evacuees who claimed to have fought with or served U.S. Armed Forces and government agencies, while they were so besieged under such dire and dangerous circumstances, and if it is going to happen at all, it must now occur in whichever Middle Eastern countries are willing to hold them, before they are allowed to continue to the United States. But, this job has become pretty much impossible now that we no longer have any personnel in the region, since we certainly can’t rely on the Taliban to tell us the truth about any Ahmed the Terrorist and say, “Oh no … don’t let him through.”

Thanks to leaked excerpts from Taliban Joe’s call to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on July 23rd 2021, we now know that Joe Biden threw Ghani to the Taliban, stood back and watched and let Afghanistan be overrun by the Taliban and its allies. Ghani specifically told Biden as much and nothing was done.

[JOS] Ghani told Biden:

“Mr. President, we are facing a full-scale invasion, composed of Taliban, full Pakistani planning and logistical support, and at least ten to fifteen thousand international terrorists, predominantly Pakistanis thrown into this, so that dimension needs to be taken account of. … (noting later) … There are agreements with the Taliban that we [or ‘you’ (which wasn’t made) clear] are not previously aware of, and because of your air force was extremely cautious in attacking (the Taliban) them.”

Even though we hear the Mainstream Media breathlessly tell us time and again how well all the evacuees have been vetted, with thousands evacuated willy-nilly and in a panicked accelerated manner for most of the evacuees there isn’t any real way to tell exactly who they are. Some of them could well be some of the international terrorists Ghani spoke of on July 23rd. And as we saw too often over the twenty years In Country, vetting isn’t foolproof; vetting is only as good as the initial information one has to start the process, and too many of these so-called “refugees” offer next to nothing from the start regarding personal background information, making the vetting process as it now stands trying to ignore the usual two year fourteen steps program largely irrelevant.  

However, the U.S. federal government absolutely should honor any documented, verifiable and well proven agreement to bring any Afghan who served honorably, side by side, with our soldiers and faced the same Taliban and Al Qaeda bullets, as soldiers or interpreters and never had the nature of their trustworthiness called into question over a period of years or timeframe named in any agreement. This shouldn’t mean that any Afghan who worked a few weeks or a few months as an office worker for some commander or in the U.S. Embassy gets an automatic pass, especially when we have seen numerous cases over the years where “interpreters” [JOS] actually were later found to be Taliban agents, usually after they killed some U.S. soldiers with surprise ambushes and automatic rifle fire and bombings, [JOS] similar to those 257 insider attacks in 2019 that killed 172 U.S. soldiers. 

In his usual incredible manner, Biden’s people have created a new program to circumvent Congress and existing immigration and refugees laws, exhibiting that there may also be more at stake than a simple rescue of Afghanis in actual real need of rescuing. On [JOS] August 2nd, the State Department announced “a Prior 2 (P-2) designation granting U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) access for certain Afghan nationals and their eligible family members,” essentially removing the criteria of one demonstrating a true fear of persecution. Any Afghan who was remotely connected to the U.S. government is now eligible to come to America, through this unwarranted expansion of the refugee program and the negation of real need. 

Throwing fuel on the fire, on Tuesday, August 24th,  America was apprised by [JOS] Alejandro Mayorkas, Homeland Security Secretary, that he would be “using his parole authority to allow some Afghan evacuees to enter the United States while they wait for their applications to be processed”, moving in a gray area of immigration law that is essentially open-ended. It’s open-ended to such an extreme that Mayorkas or Biden can literally allow anyone they want into America, for any reason and without any real limit on the number of so-called “refugees”, although at some point Congress, now controlled by Democratic Communists, is supposed to use a narrow discretion on a case by case basis to determine who may stay based on any significant benefit to America or for urgent humanitarian reasons. 

This is what Democrats have done from the turn of the 20th century when they assaulted America’s immigration law and ended the process at Ellis Island that was designed to keep out undesirables such as criminals and radicals with ideas so antithetical to our Founding Principles as to be deemed unacceptable, like Communists, anarchists, and yes, practitioners of Islam, an ideology that demands to reign supreme above all others. That they continuously advocate for more Muslims, now [JOS] Afghans of which ninety-nine percent wanted to live under Sharia Law according to 2011 and 2013 PEW polls, exhibits more of the same subversion of America, since they know that most of these people will lie, swear their allegiance to the Constitution of the United States and America and still never fully assimilate, as they ride the immigration benefits afforded them.

America shouldn’t expect anything less from its enemy from within, Taliban Joe and his Democratic Party Communists who have never seen a U.S. enemy they didn’t want to hug or an immigration ceiling they didn’t want to break if the new “immigrants” were as anti-American as them and seen as potential future Democratic Party voters. This need to subvert U.S. sovereignty in the name of Marx is found at the core of their little black hearts, so what’s a few hundred thousand more Afghan immigrants to them, in the grand scheme of things, when they’ve already shredded our borders and immigration law these past few months, by bringing in 800,000 illegal aliens along with some 750,000 legal immigrants, in their desire to change the political environment for years to come with thousands more like Ilhan Omar and to finally one day implement a totally authoritarian Socialist regime, end the Republic and complete their fundamental transformation of America. 

Say “Good-bye” to any Constitutional mandate for U.S. “presidents” to protect and defend America. Taliban Joe seems determined to do just the opposite, as he declares “Mission Accomplished”.

Shortly after the terrorist attack Chattanooga experienced on July 16th 2015, I wrote ‘The War Keeps Coming Home’ [on SlantRight 2.0], and it seems that it’s still coming home. Before that I had a long series of articles noting all the attacks prevented and the many that weren’t, and we have seen several here and abroad since. But in [JOS] one of my more important pieces from 2014, I wrote some things worth mentioning today, since not a whole lot has really changed:

“During the past decades, the U.S. has witnessed Islamic inspired terror plots, designed to kill hundreds and thousands, foiled by the Grace of God, luck and good investigative work and intelligence information. Najibullah Zazi hoped to detonate a triacetone triperoxide-based explosive in the New York subway close to September 11, 2009; in April 2013, Ahmed Abassi, a chemical engineering graduate student at Laval University in Quebec, planned to murder upwards of 100,000 people, by contaminating the water supply of a major U.S. city. ….. Border agents are finding items like ‘In Memory of Our Martyrs’, a book documenting suicide-bombings, which was found near Casa Grande, AZ in January 2012. And, two months later, Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen released a report quoting Abdullah al-Nafsi, a Muslim cleric, saying, “… one man with the courage to carry a suitcase of anthrax through the tunnels from Mexico to the United States could kill 330,000 Americans in one hour.” 

Reviews the photos and videos of the C-17 transports and commercial charters leaving out of Kabul Airport during most of last week, and one sees that very few women and children found their way on board. And for all practical intent and purposes, once the doors of those planes closed on the tarmac in Kabul, no matter the potential security threat from anyone aboard, they all basically became permanent U.S. residents, despite all assurances to the contrary, just you wait and see. 

America will most certainly witness a renewal of Islamic inspired terror attacks on America’s soil in the coming months, because Taliban Joe doesn’t give a damn about Americans or America.

However badly one may feel for the unfortunate and truly innocent Afghans, like the little children flashed across our television screens, as Americans we all should be much more concerned over those Americans that Taliban Joe so callously and nonchalantly left behind to serve as hostages for the Taliban, as he also abandons any semblance of a pro-America immigration policy. No one should really give a good damn if not even one more Afghan of the highest character and trustworthy nature isn’t brought to America as long as just one American is left in Afghanistan against his wishes, because of Taliban Joe’s demented need for a photo opportunity on September 11th 2021 as the man who ended the Afghan War, and damn the cost to America in the years to come. 

Tell Joe to bring our people home.

Biden: Stained With Blood

Biden Leads a Full Blown Retreat From Afghanistan

The American Flag is flying at half-staff in the aftermath of two bombs being detonated in Kabul on Thursday, August 26th 2021, around 8:30 AM CST our time, one at the airport and one at the nearby Baron Hotel, and all Taliban Joe can do is continue denying any real responsibility for what has unfolded, since he ordered U.S. troops to close down Bagram Air Base and seven other installations in the first week of July. Everything from that point on facilitated an increase of terrorist attacks around the country and the fall of the Afghan government, emboldened the Taliban, and resulted in the “A Team” of terrorists being assembled and placed in the Afghan seat of government and a predictably dangerous situation and a worst case scenario for the evacuation of American citizens and the terrorist attacks that left thirteen U.S. Marines dead and eighteen wounded, along with scores of Afghan casualties.

This is the worst U.S. policy failure in all American history.

Joe Biden owns this bloody, deadly attack on our U.S. Marines, since his evacuation of Bagram Air Base and the retreat of our forces allowed the Taliban to release some of the worst Al Qaeda and Isis terrorists known to the free world and put them back on the battlefield. He owns this because he has allowed the Taliban to dictate to him the terms of America’s retreat, essentially America’s surrender, as well as following such an incredibly weak security plan for the Kabul Airport that it boggles the mind.

Biden actually left the U.S. evacuations operations and process reliant upon the Taliban for help in assuring the security of Hamid Karzai International Airport, which is putting the fox in charge of the hen house. Whether one speaks of the Taliban, Al Qaeda, ISIS Khorasan or the Haqqani, they are all one in the same and interchangeable in their hatred for America and their desire to kill Americans, and one can rest assured that the Taliban allowed this bomber to creep through the perimeter unnoticed until he got to his target and unleashed hell and death all about him.

Does anyone really believe the Taliban were sincere in their condemnation of this terrorist attack? They are ecstatic and jumping for joy on the inside, no matter how well they disguise their outward facial appearances in somber concern for the dead and wounded, as they continue to demand all U.S. forces must be out of Afghanistan, with or without our fellow countrymen.

As reprehensible and disgusting as it is to note, the Biden administration had warning of impending ISIS Khorasan attacks on Hamid Karzai International Airport for several days, which made specific note of a bomb being carried or placed outside the airport gates, so it’s hard to understand why more wasn’t done to tighten security and even to step out and neutralize these terrorists, to kill them with extreme prejudice. 

Please note that the Biden Administration had even released an official warning the very day before the explosive devices unleashed their destruction and the horrific deaths that followed. The Level 4 Travel Advisory from “The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan” [operating from the airport now] read in part:

“Because of security threats outside the gates of Kabul airport, we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so.”

We haven’t had anyone killed in Afghanistan since February of 2020, and now, after Biden’s hasty retreat and policy of appeasement, America has suffered the worst loss since the Extortion 17 tragedy [Blog Editor: Mostly Left-Wing fact checkers will tell Dementia-Joe had nothing to do the Extortion 17 travesty, but it has been my discovery these fact checkers blatantly to protect Leftist interests and agendas – especially Dementia-Joe. I suspect there is no smoking gun Dementia-Joe leaked SEAL names due to Leftist efficiency in covering their tracks, suspicions persist: Noisy Room article from 8/7/2020] on August 6th 2011, when we lost 30 Americans — Special Warfare Operators/ Seal Team Six — to the terrorists in Wardak Province. And we more than likely would have stopped this attack on Kabul, if our Afghan allies and eyes on the ground, local intelligence operatives, weren’t having to deal with thousands of newly released Al Qaeda and ISIS, fighting as they also run for their lives. 

Looking tired and defeated, Biden insisted his decisions to this point were correct and necessary, but nothing could be more false. This is the man who has overturned every single Trump policy that he possibly could, whether we speak of the Keystone Pipeline or the border and our nation’s overall security. Nothing prevented him — the “President” and Commander-In-Chief — from demanding a feasible, effective evacuation plan from his Top Military Brass and telling the Taliban we would withdraw our military after we had seen all our American citizens safely home.

He didn’t have to stick to any timetable that leaves Americans behind, as he now insists on doing. With incredible gall and temerity, he stood before the cameras today and mumbled about continuing to try to get any and all Americans out, “who want to leave”, AFTER U.S. troops completely withdraw by August 31st, essentially signing many of these Americans’ death sentences and ensuring that those who aren’t murdered right away will become the Taliban’s hostages, to be done with as they wish and used as leverage against the Biden administration for God only knows what.

But every day, each time he takes to the podium, it’s as if he is unsure of whether or not he is actually in charge of anything, much less the most powerful office in the entire world, and this was made painfully obvious as he suggested he “was instructed to call on” certain reporters for the question and answer segment that followed his national address. He is heading at the head of the United States of America, still the most powerful nation on earth; but, all that power means absolutely nothing, if it’s not properly put to use.

It’s important to tell America that Afghanistan fell because Taliban Joe made sure it had to fall. He undermined the Afghan government at every step, violating President Trump’s original withdrawal agreement by excluding Ashraf Ghani’s government from talks the Biden administration had with the Taliban. He pulled much needed funds to maintain air support from the Afghan Security Forces, which gave them their edge over the Taliban in July, and when he pulled most of the U.S. military out too and closed down Bagram, our Afghan forces saw the writing on the wall. 

Many operatives who kept our own intelligence agencies appraised of the situation on the ground in various parts of the country went dark, as they had to find new ways to hide, run and fight, yes fight. Many Afghanis are still fighting in Afghanistan despite what Joe has asserted, especially in Northern Afghanistan. 

And, even though we have spent $2 trillion in Afghanistan over twenty years, the sum spent had dropped to a pittance of the $6 trillion Taliban Joe plans to spend on absolutely NOTHING here stateside for his “woke” Marxist “social infrastructure” programs; $40 billion has been given to many Afghan governments since the days of Representative Charlie Wilson’s War against the Soviets in Afghanistan, and that was the amount we have spent for several years after the heavy front loaded expenditures on equipment, some $83 billion worth, that has now simply been left in the hands of the terrorists of the Taliban to use against all opposition, including U.S. soldiers.

The environment in Afghanistan had been largely stabilized and the Taliban couldn’t have mounted so successful a campaign and seized so many provinces so rapidly, if not for actions by Joe Biden. It was almost as though he was their ally much more than an ally to President Ashraf Ghani and the Afghan National Army. And such as it was, we would have been significantly better served by keeping a military presence there to fill the power vacuum in Afghanistan and retain leverage over China and Russia in the region and our own influence in the Near East Theater, for a litany of reasons that do, in fact, serve America’s vital national security interests, in light of both China’s and Russia’s most recent aggressions against America.

On August 26th, Biden swore he would hunt down those behind the bombings and extract vengeance for America, but he didn’t go into any details on how he proposed to do so. However, it’s a certainty that he won’t be able to do so without boots on the ground or, at the very least, the Afghan intelligence network that had been nurtured by our soldiers through the years. 

Rather than continue down this path of folly and continued defeat, Biden, or whoever is pulling his strings, must reverse course and tell the Taliban we will leave in our own good time and not until every last American has been evacuated safely; and then Biden must reinsert whatever number of soldiers necessary to successfully complete this mission, with orders to enter the streets of Kabul and kill anybody carrying a rifle, who isn’t an ally or an American trying to leave Afghanistan.

Exhibiting some of the most dishonorable actions seen from any Commander-In-Chief in many long years, Joe Biden is essentially handicapping our U.S. Armed Forces right out of the starting gate, but all need not be lost. Except it is going to be for the lack of any real leaders in his administration and the lack of a capable president. 

Biden’s stubborn belief that he is right above all the military strategists who say he is more than just wrong has already enabled the growth of a stronger and more capable Terrorist Association led by former Gitmo prisoner, Khairullah Khairkhwa [released in 2014 by Obama], armed with U.S. weapons, and an Al Qaeda that’s much stronger than when we first invaded Afghanistan, and his callous indifference to the lives of our Afghan allies and American lives has set the stage for thousands of Americans to be left behind to be held hostage or murdered. And, his numerous lies, told with an air of self-righteousness, has set the stage for another attack similar to 9/11 in the not too distant future, as he attempts to wash his hands of Afghanistan, with the blood and sacrifice of American soldiers and citizens alike.

However, despite all Biden’s disingenuous talk of getting America out of “a forever war”, no one should believe that leaving Afghanistan will end Islam’s and the new, improved Terror Association’s war against America. He’s just surrendered to the Taliban and ensured that Afghanistan will once again become a way station for terrorists and Islamic jihadis who want to bring harm to America.

It was a disgusting sight to see, as Biden referenced the Book of Isaiah and called upon the Lord with his usual false piety, so much so as to make one physically ill. The irony of hearing him say “Send me” even as he leads America in a misguided and ill-conceived full blown retreat was just too much. 

Aside from all this, there isn’t a detergent or solvent strong enough to remove the blood of our good and decent young Marines from Biden’s hands. His hands will remain stained with their blood ’til his own dying day.

Let’s hope and pray that the last words our fellow Americans hear aren’t “Allahu Akbar” as they try to escape Afghanistan.

America is witnessing a known eleven thousand, possibly as many as forty thousand of their fellow Americans now trapped in Afghanistan, by the Taliban terrorists and Al Qaeda enemies of America, while Joe Biden continues to misrepresent the facts on the ground and deflect from the massive mistakes he and his people have made in the months and weeks leading up to this unbelievable policy disaster. Biden is lying to America and he has placed American lives at the mercy of the Taliban, by placing a misguided and even delusional faith in “their word” that they will allow Americans safe-passage to the airport; and he seems to be fine with leaving Americans behind to face a possible hostage situation, like we witnessed when the Revolutionary Guard held fifty-two Americans hostage for 444 days. 

Every other NATO ally in the country is out in the Afghan countryside searching for their stranded countrymen and escorting them back to evacuation points, and yet incredulously, the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin recently stated that the United States military currently doesn’t have the capability to go out into the countryside to ensure our people safe-passage to the Kabul airport. But today, August 20th, Joe Biden essentially suggested he would do so at such a time as it appears that Americans cannot make it to the airport safely on their own. This would almost be humorous to watch, if it wasn’t such a deadly serious matter for so many thousands of Americans, and Afghans too, especially in light of the manner our military has so firmly controlled Afghanistan up ’til now. As Austin delivered that one unbelievable point, General Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff looked as if his wife had just shot his favorite coonhound. 

The UK has sent soldiers into the countryside to help their people, and Germany has sent out helicopters, as has France. And yet the United States has not done anything remotely similar, with our military content to run airport security for now, as our top echelon commanders seem so risk adverse that they are fully paralyzed; they are not willing to risk American lives, our soldiers’ lives, to save thousands of other Americans lives.

Logical-minded, rational military men understand that risk comes with the job. And if they don’t, they should stay home with their CRT and transgender study groups, lounging about in their pink tu-tus and sipping their lattes. 

What in the hell is the point of even having a military, if they aren’t going to defend and protect Americans abroad as well as at home? Oh .. but wait … our military is now more focused on fighting against Conservatives and Christians in America than it is in fighting the Taliban and Al Qaeda. 

Since August 18th and reiterated in his press conference today, August 20th, Biden has kept assuring everyone that he is committed to keeping U.S. troops in Afghanistan until every American is evacuated, even if it means staying past August 31st, but the chaos and lack of any pre-existing contingency plans in light of how this has unfolded doesn’t instill confidence in anyone watching, and neither does the [JOS] Biden regime’s demand of two thousand dollars reimbursement from evacuees.

Asserted recently on Fox and Friends (August 17th), former Assistant Secretary of State Robert Charles [JOS] stated:

“I am told the F-77 (U.S. State Department document) of Afghanistan indicates there are 15,000 potentially, upwards of 40,000 Americans scattered around Afghanistan right now. The Taliban has given a two week grace period for them to get out but most of them have been told to shelter in place by the State Department.”

On Wednesday August 18th, the U.S. State Department issued a Security Alert that in part stated the [JOS] following:

“U.S. government-provided flights are departing.  U.S. citizens, LPRs, and their spouses and unmarried children (under age 21) should consider travelling to Hamid Karzai International Airport.   You should plan to enter the airport at Camp Sullivan.  From the HKIA Airport South Traffic Circle, head east for 1km and turn right on to Camp Sullivan.   Please note that gates may change frequently and that we will provide updates as necessary. 

THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT CANNOT ENSURE SAFE PASSAGE TO THE HAMID KARZAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.” [Bold & Italic text from website quoted]

Anybody with a television set has seen how hard it is to even get to the airport, much less enter it, now that the Taliban and Al Qaeda have placed their own people all around its perimeter, and they are harassing and preventing nearly everybody from entering at this very moment. Al Qaeda has been spreading across at least fifteen provinces since last month according to U.S. State Department documents, and this makes it especially dangerous for any U.S. citizen to attempt to navigate their way to any point of extrication from the country, since numerous Taliban and Al Qaeda checkpoints have sprung up along every major highway across the country.

And still Biden, an existential threat to America all by himself, had the hubris to appear on national television on August 20th and tell the nation that Al Qaeda had been destroyed in Afghanistan. 

Despite any assurances from the Taliban leaders and Joe Biden’s assurances his people are in constant contact with them and safe passage is guaranteed, the evidence on the ground reveals the exact opposite at this time.

Reported just earlier today by Politico, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin acknowledged in a telephone conference that Americans were being [JOS] harmed:

“We’re also aware that some people, including Americans, have been harassed and even beaten by the Taliban. This is unacceptable and (we) made it clear to the designated Taliban leader.”

As of this writing, there aren’t any reports of U.S. citizens being killed by the Taliban or Al Qaeda, but it’s early yet in this evacuation process. In the meantime, there are an untold number of Afghans that are seen scattered along the roadsides in numerous reports, raped, tortured and murdered. The Taliban hasn’t changed at all.

How does one get to Kabul airport safely without military aid? Essentially as best they can and on a wing and a prayer, one may suppose. Asking a U.S. citizen to attempt to gain entrance on their own is pure gross incompetence and malfeasance on the part of the Biden regime, when the Taliban is firing rifles into the air and into crowds of people, too, and it is an extremely daunting thing for anyone to attempt at the moment. 

This should have all Americans angry as a Momma Grizzly, especially in light of an internal memo from the U.S State Department that was warning Biden last month of just such a coming collapse, as Vivian Salama (Wall Street Journal) [JOS] reported on August 19th: 

“The classified cable represents the clearest evidence yet that the administration had been warned by its own officials on the ground that the Taliban’s advance was imminent, and Afghanistan’s military may be unable to stop it. [Emphasis Justin’s]

The cable, sent via the State Department’s confidential dissent channel, warned of rapid territorial gains by the Taliban and the subsequent collapse of Afghan security forces, and offered recommendations on ways to mitigate the crisis and speed up an evacuation, the two people said.”

The State Department dissent channel cable urged an accelerated timetable for the evacuation of Americans and those qualified and verified Afghan nationals, who had helped U.S. forces. It recommended starting evacuations no later than August 1rst.

And, as if things couldn’t get any more outrageous, [JOS] Jacqui Heinrich of Fox News recently reported that American citizens wouldn’t be receiving top priority for evacuation, as she explained that Pentagon spokesman, John Kirby, had stated that there would be planes leaving with both Afghans holding Special Immigrant Visas and Americans, and it wouldn’t “be just Americans first …”. It also has become apparent that the Biden regime’s first priority appears to be getting some 30,000 Afghan SIVs over here first.

Some hard questions need to be asked and answered immediately concerning Afghans being placed before Americans. Why? Why Is this being done, and who actually thought this was a good idea? 

It never should have become this dire a situation, and it wouldn’t have if Biden had ordered massive airstrikes and ground attacks against the Taliban and Al Qaeda, just as soon as they started taking over any province. The environment would not be so dangerous to Americans in country now, if Biden had not evacuated nearly all the U.S. military ahead of American citizens and closed down Bagram Air Base, a working airport under U.S. control until recently. 

Regardless of Biden’s timetable for leaving Afghanistan, his people should have planned to leave enough military in place to properly oversee an orderly evacuation of all Americans, without placing themselves and America in the position of actually having to negotiate with the Taliban to get our people out.

America shouldn’t be negotiating with the Taliban to get our people out. Although Biden has rushed thousands of fresh troops to Afghanistan to improve the security situation, Biden must reinsert enough military to create safe corridors across the country to allow Americans to travel safely to Kabul or any new points of evacuation that may be created in the coming days, regardless of what the Taliban wants, but he has been so clueless and disengaged from the beginning that it’s hard to know what he or his people will actually do. They seem to be crossing their fingers and hoping for the best, as they keep America on a path towards certain catastrophe, and desperate Afghan mothers are tossing their children over walls to our soldiers.

And if we can see the potential for these thousands of Americans to be held hostage, one can bet their last bottom dollar that the potential hasn’t been lost to the Taliban leaders. 

Horrible as it may be to have to consider, America shouldn’t be surprised when the fight gets too tough for Biden and his risk adverse Military Brass and they move to simply get out of Afghanistan whether every U.S. citizen has been evacuated or not, since Biden’s current policy is Obama 3.0, full of excuses and blame for everybody else — FAILURE — and appeasement and kissing the ass of America’s enemies. It’s a scenario that has crossed the minds of many Americans, in light of recent events and comments. 

Americans certainly wouldn’t have heard George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or General George Patton, General Eisenhower, General Schwarzkopf, General McArthur, President Truman or any other American military or civilian leader worth their salt suggesting that America didn’t have the capability to do something, to get the job done come hell or high water, even though the mission may have seemed near impossible at the time. They reasoned, arrived at solutions, persevered and overcame all obstacles thrown in their way. 

Americans from all walks of life, especially those in power in the federal government and Congress, must hold the Biden regime’s and the U.S. Military’s feet to the fire to get our people out, down to the very last man and woman and child, and shout to the heavens that we will not accept the current defeatism emanating from the Biden regime and its military commanders. No matter how hard the mission may seem or how far our forces are stretched, our country must hold firm to its ethos that holds the idea of leaving no man behind, not to even think of the possibility of leaving anyone so long as one has the weapons and knowledge to prevent it, with the very lives of thousands of Americans at stake and those spoken and unspoken promises from our nation to protect them.

Biden must be pressured by the American people, the House of Representatives, the Senate and whichever media outlets are so disposed to move Heaven and Earth to bring our fellow American countrymen back home. And if so much as a hair on their head is harmed, America should paint the streets red with Taliban and Al Qaeda blood as we exit wreaking vengeance with such explosive force the sound message is heard around the world.

Afghanistan: America Behind the 8 Ball

Rome burned and Nero fiddled. Kabul falls and Joe Biden is out to lunch and having big fun at Camp David watching it unfold on television screens, while vacationing, and not once has he seen fit to address the American public on the [JOS] most incredible and massive policy failure in U.S. history, that surpasses Carter’s failed attempt to rescue the Embassy hostages from the Iranian Guard in 1979 and Obama’s assertion that ISIS was “the JV League” of Islamists, bringing back shades of Benghazi and the destruction of Libya in its wake, especially in light of the known escalations and increasing power of the Taliban that preceded this lightning quick conquest of the country’s provinces and major cities. 

Imagine the shock felt by thousands of U.S. Armed Forces Veterans as they heard the breaking news that came across the airwaves around 12:26 PM on Sunday August 15th 2021 that the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan was being evacuated — as smoke rose from the burning top secret files —  and [JOS] the U.S. flag had been lowered and removed, while panicked Embassy personnel were being flown to the nearby Hamid Karzai International Airport, now closed to all commercial flights, as the situation worsens by the second. Veterans who occupied most of the land now occupied by the Taliban are extremely troubled to see the country fall apart as the U.S. withdraws, since it evokes complicated, mind-numbing thoughts and feelings on just what did they and so many others sacrifice so much for in this war, drawing stark comparisons between Saigon in 1975 and Kabul today.

Biden’s protestations and denials that the intelligence community and the Defense Department never briefed him on the dire consequences that would follow if he pulled out of Afghanistan too precipitously, just as Obama did in Iraq, [JOS] are very similar to his 2012 denial that the Mission in Benghazi asked for more security,  and the evidence revealing his lie is well documented and [JOS] reported by Michael Gordon in the Wall Street Journal this Sunday morning: 

“In contrast to the numerous Trump policies he reversed, he opted to carry out Mr. Trump’s deal with the Taliban instead of trying to renegotiate it. In so doing, he overruled his top military commanders:

Gen. Frank McKenzie, the commander of U.S. forces in the Middle East; Gen. Austin Scott Miller, who led NATO forces in Afghanistan; and Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Citing the risks of removing American forces to Afghan security and the U.S. Embassy, they recommend that the U.S. keep 2,500 troops in Afghanistan while stepping up diplomacy to try to cement a peace agreement.”

President Trump wanted to remove our troops by May, much sooner than Biden, but with supposed safeguards for the Afghan people previously agreed to by the Taliban. Trump’s naivety in this regard would have fared no better, since the Taliban never intended on honoring the agreement from the beginning; they used the new found relief from the Trump agreement to strengthen their position in preparation for just this moment. Biden’s weakness and inability to alter course on this matter and break with Trump’s withdrawal plan speaks to his own hypocrisy. 

Biden does make a bit of sense as he suggested that added time was just more waste of American lives and resources – if the Afghan military still couldn’t or wouldn’t defend its own country after twenty years of U.S. training and being armed with the latest weapons. However, while nobody wants America to stay in Afghanistan forever, Biden’s logic ends there, since it is nothing but incompetence and sheer idiocy that would have any force announce their departure far in advance and then proceed to withdraw during the height of the enemies fighting season and at a time they have reinforced their own ranks and armaments. 

Even more troubling, relief and final evacuation for U.S. Citizens is being directed along some of the most ineffective paths imaginable, as the Biden administration has thrown unnecessary obstacles and delays in the way of Americans seeking to leave the country swiftly. Incredibly, the security alert from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul directed Americans to shelter in place and register through a repatriation form if they wanted assistance to leave Afghanistan, as if they don’t already know who in the hell is working there for U.S. contractors and NGOs. They also cautioned against trying to make one’s way to Hamid Karzai International Airport. And taken together on the whole, this sounds more like a certain death sentence than any sort of rational plan that will get our people out of there, with more shades of Benghazi and what America witnessed at the Mission and the CIA Annex on September 11th 2012 in Benghazi, Libya.

With Biden’s people running this Clusterf**k no one should place too much confidence in being rescued soon, and they shouldn’t just sit there waiting to be taken by the Taliban or recently freed Al Qaeda prisoners. Everybody should be heading for a known point of evacuation, no matter what, rather than waiting in a room somewhere in hopes that help arrives, and one can only imagine that those stuck in this jam are already thinking the same thing, as events on the ground continue to take a turn for the worse.

Shelter in place? That sounds exactly like “Fend for Yourself” to me. No, people with any sense will be getting the hell out of there as quick as they can, by any means they can find.

And in story after story, the Afghan people themselves are stunned by the speed at which the Taliban was able to sweep across Afghanistan taking 21 provinces and 24 capitols within a matter of days, but one young woman told Al Jazeera News this occurred largely due to a lack of any resistance from the government forces. She is [JOS] quoted in Economic Times echoing the sentiment of her countrymen:

“They literally sold us out. There was no government resistance. I never imagined that Kandahar would be taken so easily.”

Never a fan of staying in Afghanistan after we killed Bin Laden in 2011 on the never-ending somewhat opaque and ambiguous mission of exporting Western style “democracy” and nation building in traditionally Islamic nations that neither respected or desired such from us, and short of a clearly stated mission statement or real purpose serving a truly vital U.S. interest, I had stated for many long years that we should extricate ourselves from the situation, just as quickly as possible, without abandoning the Afghans who helped us, before they had time to properly prepare for our departure. But without a mission of purpose and no recent leaders trustworthy enough and worth following to one’s death in “the service of America”, I wanted to see us leave Afghanistan, before we saw one more poor unfortunate young woman or man sent home maimed and minus one or more limbs or in a body-bag. 

Most Americans have long lost the will to fight any longer in Afghanistan, after nearly twenty years of war, tens of thousands injured and maimed, and 2,312 Americans who died fighting it. They now see it as a “forever war”, and they know not what it is they do not know, about the Big Picture that the U.S. Department of Defense and the Pentagon has always seen and the long term plan since 1973, to eventually have a forward position established in Afghanistan to somewhat leverage and constrain both China and Russia from the vantage point of their vulnerable southern border. 

America lost sight of this mission and purpose and got placed behind the 8 Ball by subsequent Marxist administrations, during the Obama years when the so-called “rules of engagement” were untenable and a damned deadly joke for our members of the U.S. Armed Forces, and we hurt ourselves by focusing on nation building and winning the hearts and minds of an Islamic tribal people who were never going to love us, rather than fighting to win. 

No, America shouldn’t be fighting “forever wars”, but Afghanistan would never have become one, if our country’s leaders had entered it with the same attitude that witnessed America nuke Nagasaki and Hiroshima and fire-bomb Dresden. Our soldiers could have and should have made quick work of the Taliban, even if it meant killing them down to the last man, and in turn, maybe someone would have soon had the epiphany that we had just created a breast-work barrier of sorts in the region that would keep China’s eastern border and Russia’s southern border exposed and vulnerable to any defensive measure America might need utilize in the future — something we will be soon wishing we had in light of China’s current saber-rattling against America and its continued aggressions and belligerence in all parts of the world.

There has been little to zero discussion of the strategic importance of our bases in Afghanistan, although even many enlisted cadre full well get it. Russia is north — approximately four hours away by jet, China lies to the east, Pakistan to the South and Iran to the West. Without any presence there, U.S. interests in Central Asia are pretty well strangled, and Biden’s regime will soon miss the added leverage this provided our country with our enemies.

But, this was never the stated mission, and now it is all but a mute topic and something that will be thrown in the ashcan by this feckless, dangerously incompetent regime and Joe Biden, who has yet to be right on anything that pertains to U.S. foreign policy.

And so it is only natural that everybody is asking “What was it all for”, as we see Biden’s do-nothing, know-nothing appeasement policy and his grandstanding gesture aimed at officially being done in Afghanistan, on the anniversary of the worst attack on America in U.S. history on September 11th 2001, turning into a massive failure of epic proportions.

As reported by Kipp Jones on August 14th, Jeong Jangsoo, a retired Colonel of the South Korean Army and a Veteran of the Coalition Force in Afghanistan, who commanded 300 soldiers in 2007 in the fight against the Taliban, expressed his thoughts in telling fashion, [JOS] stating:

“I felt disappointment … a sense that all had been in vain, and thought, ‘So this is how it ends, huh’“.

This is actually a worse moment than Saigon in 1975, because Saigon wasn’t harboring international terrorists who would pursue the war in the U.S. after its withdrawal. The Afghan Security Force in charge of Bagram Air Force Base, just abandoned it this morning (August 15th), and along with it they abandoned the [JOS] Pul-e-Charki prison that housed some 5000 prisoners, including a maximum security cell containing some of the worst Al Qaeda and Taliban terrorists ever captured over the course of this war, now free to once again wreak havoc, mayhem and murder at will. 

And in the meantime, as I saw images across the media outlets revealing numerous Muslim groups celebrating this turn of events, such as the leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e Islam Nazryate distribute candy and cakes among the people in the markets of Quetta, Pakistan, as the Taliban rolled into Kabul, I wondered how many days would pass before cooperation between the Taliban, several thousand recently released Al Qaeda terrorists and the terrorists of Pakistan’s Jaamat e-Islami and other Islamic terrorist groups results in renewed and exponentially increased terrorist attacks against the Western world and across the globe, especially here on U.S. soil and against U.S. interests abroad.

For many Americans there was never any doubt that we must leave Afghanistan at some point, but they did want the departure to be orderly and honorable, and something far different from what we are receiving under the Biden regime and from the man, Joe Biden, who has been wrong on every major policy issue of the day over his forty some odd years career in politics, from the Persian Gulf War to the surge in Iraq and on to opposing the raid that killed Bin Laden.

This morning America witnessed one military helicopter after another leaving the Embassy compound, which makes it impossible not to draw comparisons with the iconic scene of people fleeing the North Vietnamese Army from the top of the U.S. Embassy in Saigon, Vietnam in 1975. Although it was only a month ago that Biden denied this sort of scenario and a Taliban takeover was possible, anyone paying attention knew he was wrong, and now we see Biden’s administration rush thousands of U.S. Marines and U.S. Soldiers to Afghanistan to try to stave off the inevitable, as translators and other Afghan allies and civilians wait for flights that may never arrive for them.

Many older Americans have never forgotten the genocides that occurred as millions of people from Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos were murdered by the Communists of the North Vietnam Regulars and the Vietcong, the Khmer Rouge and the Pathet Lao, as the Soviet and Chinese Communists rolled in with them in support. Approximately five million men, women and children were murdered in a four year period in these countries by the Communists who rose to power after America’s retreat from Southeast Asia, the doctors, lawyers, teachers and anyone even remotely associated with these countries’ infrastructures or previous government. 

Many of us also remember the Taliban’s rise to power between 1994 and 1996, when they destroyed all sculptures and art and any writings deemed “against Islam”, as [JOS] they destroyed the centuries old massive Bamiyan Buddhas in central Afghanistan and beheaded or otherwise executed infidels and non-believers, or those deemed insufficiently “Muslim”, in Kabul’s stadium, in 1996. These days will be a walk in Disneyland compared to what is coming.

The last days of Kabul are going to be every bit as ugly and chaotic as the last days of Saigon, because too many of the thousands of newly freed Al Qaeda and Taliban fighters and terrorists are on the prowl, vicious as ever, and seeking revenge. And as the hour grows late for Afghanistan, all doubt has been removed that this recent Afghan fiasco is Biden’s Taliban Baby and Kabul is most definitely his administration’s fall of Saigon.  

As I write this, I’m thinking of a conversation I had with a dear friend this very morning, who asked that we pray for the safety of all these fine young American men and women, as she told me her nephew had just flown a mission to Afghanistan in a USAF-KC-10 a few days ago. He was just sent back to Afghanistan, flying out with jets on Saturday morning, in what was described as a “sudden” and “immediate” event.

This is where the hearts and minds of the good and decent Americans lie today, with America’s warriors who served Her in unquestioning fashion and all too often gave their lives in the process, to ensure another attack like September 11th 2001 would never be possible again from a force similar to Al Qaeda that was given sanctuary by their Taliban allies and hosts in Afghanistan. And in praying for all our dead and their families and all the soldiers still serving in Afghanistan, we also pray for the Afghan people who opposed the monsters of their own country, those Afghans siding with America and the millions of Afghan women and men who sought a future for their families without oppression.

Discovering Asia Bibi

Do you recall the persecution of Pakistani-Christian Asia Bibi? In case you have forgotten or never heard of her ordeal, she was a Pakistani-Christian laborer who dared to quench her thirst from an apparently Muslim-only well. The offended Muslims engaged in epithets against Asia’s faith which landed her in a no-win situation for Pakistan is an Islamic Republic. This means extolling any faith other than Islam is blasphemy. AND in Pakistan the penal code requires the death penalty.

The thing about life in Pakistan and the blasphemy penal code is that unscrupulous Muslims often use the blasphemy accusation to settle personal disputes with Christians (and other non-Muslim faiths) or to acquire the rare piece of property a poverty stricken Pakistani-Christian might own.

I was so enraged of the religious persecution Asia Bibi received, that included roughly a decade on Pakistan’s death row, that I dedicated much blog time to her plight and other persecuted Christian in Pakistan.

As you can probably surmise, Asia eventually secured freedom death row and asylum away from Pakistan much to the chagrin of bloodthirsty Pakistani-Muslims who actually rioted over her freedom.

I recently ran into a Breaking Christian News story  dated 7/22/21 that was a CBN News pickup of Asia Bibi speaking via video to International Religious Freedom Summit. I took a look at the speaker list and was disappointed and discouraged many of the speakers were godless prominent Dem-Marxist Trump-haters. And yes I used the word “godless” even many of these Dem-Marxist profess a Christian faith but went out of their to support immoral platforms such as abortion, the LGBTQ movement, Communist atheistic principles (e.g.: BLM, CRT, Church lockdowns, etc. & etc.).

ERGO, I probably do not place much stock in the International Religious Freedom Summit as a paragon of Christian virtue or Religious Liberty for that matter. BUT Asia Bibi is a woman who stood for Christ even if it meant her death. AND FOR THAT, Asia Bibi is a Christian hero of faith.

Because Asia Bibi is a Christian hero you should think of picking up her most recent book relating her death row, freedom and asylum. The book was first published in French (A French co-writer) under a title that translated into English as “Finally Free” that was released in early 2020. English speakers as I am, can pick the English translation that came out in late 2020 under the title, “Free at Last”.

Pakistani Christian Asia Bibi, who spent nearly a decade on death row after being falsely accused of blasphemy against Islam, wants to be a voice of hope for other persecuted Christians.

As CBN News has reported, Bibi was convicted and sentenced in 2010 after a coworker accused her of insulting Islam after a dispute. Blasphemy is a crime punishable by death in Pakistan.

The 50-year-old addressed the International Religious Freedom Summit last Wednesday via video message, thanking God for her freedom and acknowledging those who prayed for her while she was imprisoned.

“From the bottom of my heart I am very thankful to the Lord, who has rescued me from my sufferings and difficulties,” she said. “He has given me a fresh start and the opportunity to start a new life with my family.”

Bibi added that she “wants to be a voice for Christian people, Christians in prison, and in difficulties.”

She recalled how her faith overshadowed her fear.

“When I was in prison, I was very worried about my children and husband. I was not aware where they were and whether they were safe or not. At the same time, I had a hope in the Lord,” Bibi explained. “Thanks to all of the brothers and sisters who prayed and fasted. Because of their prayers, I am now free.”

Bibi has previously shared a remarkable story about an encounter with a bird that would routinely visit her when she was in her darkest moments in prison. She believed the bird was a message from God as a means to strengthen her faith.

“There is a beautiful thing that happens every day in my cell,” she explained. “Two days after they announced my death penalty, I was brought into (death row). Every morning around 3:30 or 4, a brown bird with a long beak appears and sits on the boundary wall. This bird also comes every evening around 5. He sits there for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening. Later on, he became my friend. I talk to him and he also talks to me.”

She continued, “As I watched this bird every day, I tried to understand the meaning of him coming day after day. I think this is a messenger from God giving me His message. When the bird comes, I feel encouraged and peaceful. I feel comforted after his visit. I think this is a very significant sign from God.”

Even though she was awaiting death in her cell, the bird brought her comfort and a glimmer of hope, just like God sent ravens to minister to Elijah when he was hiding from those who wanted to kill him.

The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening and would drink from the brook (1 Kings 17:6).

Ultimately Bibi was acquitted of the crime by the Pakistan Supreme Court but then was kept from leaving the country by officials even after a final bid from hardline Islamists to have her acquittal overturned was rejected.

Radical Muslims in Pakistan were outraged by the acquittal and threatened to murder her. Tens of thousands rallied in the streets and called for her death.

She was finally able to leave Pakistan in May of 2019 and was reunited with her daughters in Canada.

During the summit, Bibi pointed out that her “Christian brothers and sisters worked very hard for my freedom,” and said she is “very thankful to everyone from the bottom of my heart.”

“Let us join hands and stand together so we can be a voice for our Christian brothers and sisters who are suffering, and help them out of their situations,” she said. “Like the Lord did for me.”

In Feb. 2020, Bibi released a book about her years in prison titled, Finally Free.

In her new book, she writes about the daily persecution suffered by Pakistan’s Christian minority and gives an account of the demeaning and appalling conditions in the prison where she was confined.
