Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s radical “Green New Deal” legislation proposal [Blog Editor: Farting cows in original version mysteriously disappears in final version], presented to America on February 7th, is an outright Marxist socialist and a virtual communist attempt to supplant our Republic system and our capitalist economy, in a manner that can only result in the destruction of both. Offering an extraordinary, unprecedented level of government intrusion, a “massive government intervention” in her words, AOC’s plan isn’t simply going to transform our lives, rather it will smash our way of life, through a mass de-population scheme, that Americans ignore at our own peril.

 

Ocasio-Cortez’s proposal sensationalizes and magnifies the imagined impending doom from climate change, and yet, the plan actually addresses very few solutions for anything climate related. Instead, the plan has latched on to climate change, in utopian fashion, and a ruse that offers everything under the sun as a new right, from ice-cream for everyone to a right to get a government purchased pony, or so it does seem. She and her ilk have opportunistically seized upon the issue to justify seizing the United States economy and implementing full-blown socialism and the most Left-wing agenda in American history.

 

Branding the plan as a kind of “Marshall Plan” and lifting a page from Bill McKibben’s 2016 article in ‘The New Republic’, one finds free Medicare — may as well call it “Medicaid” for all — free education, high-speed rails to replace air travel, a federal jobs guarantee, codified family leave, a national union, income paid to those unwilling to work and rebuilding every structure in the nation to meet new environmental regulations. The plan closely follows the failed socialist “Leap Manifesto” advocated by Canada’s Leftists, anti-capitalists, and eco-socialists, such as Naomi Klein, who once wrote “shredding the free-market ideology that has dominated the global economy for more than three decades” was the only way to combat climate change.

 

At the heart of the New Communists’ plan is a focus on renewable energy and the notion that they can move the nation completely away from the use of fossil fuel over the next decade. Electricity would triple in cost, and gasoline could easily rise to $6 per gallon, or more, just to reach fifty percent renewable energy, according to many independent studies including the Heritage Foundation. If actually implemented, their plan will economically cripple the United States, even if it was gradually implemented over the next thirty years.

 

What happens to the former workers in the fossil fuel industry? Will wind-farming be able to absorb their numbers in a cost efficient manner? AOC’s plan does call for a “fair and just transition for all communities and workers.” Ha! I can barely contain my excitement, as I hear this coming from the same party that gave us the failed Obamacare.

 

As noted by Robert Bryce, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute: “FDR, Sam Rayburn and others who pushed for rural electrification back in the 1930s did so because they wanted lower-cost electricity for rural customers. The (Green New Deal) will result in massive increases in energy costs for consumers across the country. It will require covering vast swaths of rural America with wind turbines and transmission lines at the very time that states from Maine to California are rejecting those same projects.”

 

It is not hard to imagine that many households will be hard-pressed to choose between freezing in the winter, buying groceries or paying their mortgages. America will see a sharp rise in homelessness, if such a plan is ever passed, especially considering homelessness has risen steadily, since 1980, and its numbers are now higher than during the Great Depression.

 

Will government be able to prevent them from starving to death by opening “soup kitchens”?

 

Thank God there isn’t enough support in the Senate to pass this fantasy legislation, mimicking Mao’s catastrophic Great Leap Forward, that is advocated by the nation’s red, radical Democrats, at the moment. Such will not always be the case unless we can stop the trend that exhibits 51 percent of Americans age 18 to 29 now view socialism and even communism favorably, with 60 percent of Democrats holding these radical beliefs.

 

Once thought to be a fringe policy idea, AOC’s plan has given climate change legislation significant momentum in recent months. At least 40 members of the House have stated they support the Green New Deal, and every Democratic presidential candidate supports most or all of the plan, from Senators Cory Booker (NJ) to Kamala Harris (CA) and Elizabeth Warren (Mass) to Representative Tulsi Gabbard [Daily Caller & The Hill] (HA).  And potential Democratic candidate, Bernie Sanders (VT) has also thrown his support behind it.

 

I wonder how much Tulsi is going to love her train ride to Hawaii?

 

This sort of transition would essentially nationalize the economy and force the abandonment of huge swaths of capital, which could not be redirected anywhere else; however, every resource, nearly all labor and all production would be diverted from its current use to an agenda determined by government planners and overlords. Much of America would be impoverished overnight, if any such plan ever becomes “law”, and that’s no exaggeration.

 

These wild-eyed communists suggest that throwing money at these projects will ensure their success, but most of America will not easily fall in line to pay the $6.6 trillion annual price-tag, that is three times the amount the federal government collects in tax revenues and thirty-four percent of the U.S.’s entire Gross Domestic Product. It will more than likely require deadly force to redirect such a massive amount of the nation’s wealth, if, Heaven forbid, the Democrat’s ever gain so much power.

 

The New Green Communists’ are unwilling to be truthful about their resolution. Current technologies and opportunity costs would be overwhelmed by this proposal, resulting in a systemic collapse and mass shortages and a scarcity of food. It may read like it offers a wonderful world for all, by emulating Venezuela’s Constitution and enshrining all sorts of “rights”, but it essentially shreds the U.S. Constitution and impedes and suppresses individual liberty, and it reduces each American to “equality” in the lowest common denominator in extreme poverty. It is a miserable proposal that will result in millions of Americans being murdered or starved to death, in order to ensure its success and perpetual power for its Democratic Party creators, under a totalitarian socialist state.

 

And any American Patriot should be prepared to fight any such plan from ever becoming “law” to his death — for any way one chooses to view it, death goes hand in hand with the New Greed Deal.

The ungodly LGBTQ must be concerned if sentient non-earth people will be offended if a Family/Biblical values person heads NASA. Apparently, the homosexual lobby fears space aliens might be influenced in the space exploration of the final frontier.

 

Rep. Jim Bridenstine’s (R-OK) NASA nomination is being opposed because he is wise enough to not agree with a Gay lifestyle. Of course, the Leftist MSM is lining up behind the godless LGBTQ. How can a group of people who ONLY represent 4.1% of the population (Pew Research 2016) have that kind of political clout? If you can’t agree that the LGBTQ is a special Rights group of people you must be a racist evil homophobe. As if homosexuals are a race of people rather than a group of people that chose a deviant lifestyle.

 

Yup, I said “deviant”. I don’t care if Medical organizations, Psychologist organizations, and/or Psychiatric organizations were essentially pressured decades ago into normalizing homosexuals rather than keeping with their original analysis that same-sex relations is deviant.

 

The American Psychiatric Association (APA) was harassed by political pressure rather than scientific data to end the mental deviancy listing of homosexual practices:

 

They [i.e. Rogers H. Wright and Nicholas A. Cummings] got established and revered practitioners to write chapters which explore these important issues. The following regarding the removal of homosexuality from the DSM in 1973 was written as a matter of verifiable fact:

A political firestorm had been created by gay activists within psychiatry, with intense opposition to normalizing homosexuality coming from a few outspoken psychiatrists who were demonized and even threatened, rather than scientifically refuted. I can’t blame the article writer using a pseudonym. Homosexual activists use both defamation – to shame – and violence – to strike fear – against truth tellers to silence them from the American public.

 

Here is a brief description when science was abandoned for submission to political pressure:

 

  • 1973 – Board of Trustees of The American Psychiatric Association (APA) approves the deletion of homosexuality from the DSM-II and substitutes a diagnosis of “sexual orientation disturbance.” Intense discussion and debate followed.

 

  • On Dec 15 1973, the Board of Trustees of the APA voted to delete homosexuality altogether from the DSM. Opposition from several psychiatrists immediately followed. A referendum on the Board’s decision was called.

 

  • 1974 – the entire membership of the APA was polled for their support or rejection of the Board’s decision. žOf the 10,000 voting members, nearly 40% opposed the Board’s decision to normalize homosexuality. Decision was hardly unanimous. (Controversially, a survey conducted in 1979 asked 10,000 psychiatrists if they felt homosexuality “usually represented a pathological adaptation.” ž69% of respondents said “yes,” and 60% said homosexual men were less capable of “mature, loving relationships” than heterosexual men.)

 

The author of Destructive Trends in mental health was right to conclude:

 

“Diagnosis today in psychology and psychiatry is cluttered with politically correct verbiage, which seemingly has taken precedence over sound professional experience and scientific validation.” (Ibid.)

 

Since the APA barely removed homosexuality as a deviant mental disorder, the American Left and Homosexual Activists were well armed with the needed propaganda to slowly persuade the American public to accept ungodly homosexuality.

 

Even a recent scientific study revealed by Life Site circa November 2016 show homosexuality is not normal:

 

Those who are setting our so-called “values”, such as the small but powerful group of academics, mainstream media, and homosexual activists, do so by attempting to impose strange myths and ideas that have no scientific basis.

 

These myths include the one that homosexuals are “born that way”, can’t change, and must be accepted for “who they are”. Further, those claiming they are a different gender than that with which they were born, i.e. the transgendered, who “feel” they belong to other than their gender at birth, must be accepted as such.

 

The public is supposed to put aside its intelligence and common sense, and respectfully bow collectively in obeisance to these “expert” opinions. These opinions, however, are complete and utter hogwash.

 

… However, the myth-makers attempt to force their nonsense on us by the heavy hand of the law, claiming that it’s “discrimination” to refuse to accept the myths as truth.  Jurisdictions which don’t obey their rulings are economically punished, parents are forbidden to protect their children from the monstrous “bathroom” laws that permit males to use girls’ showers, lockers and change rooms.  It’s all a fraud based on propaganda with no scientific legitimacy.

 

Bombshells Explode The Myths

The first bombshell was a landmark study published in The Journal – The New Atlantis, (August 23, 2016). The Journal is a well-known journal of science, technology and ethics based in Washington D.C.  This article analysed [sic] the scientific evidence of LGBT issues published to date in scientific journals.

 

… Dr. Mayer stated he supports every sentence in this report without reservation since it is about science and medicine.  He also stated he was alarmed to learn during his review of over 500 scientific articles that the LGBT community bears a disproportionate rate of mental health problems compared to the population as a whole.

 

  • The other author is Dr. Paul McHugh, one of the leading psychiatrists in the world. … These scientists reviewed hundreds of peer reviewed studies on sexual orientation and gender identity from the biological, psychological and social sciences.  Their conclusions were as follows:

 

  • The belief that gender identity is an innate, fixed human property independent of biological sex – so that a person might be a ‘man trapped in a woman’s body’ or ‘a woman trapped in a man’s body’ – is not supported by scientific evidence.

 

  • Only a minority of children who express gender-atypical thoughts or behaviour will continue to do so into adolescence or adulthood. There is no evidencethat all such children should be encouraged to become transgender, much less subjected to hormone treatments or surgery.

 

  • Non-heterosexual and transgender people have higher rates of mental health problems (anxiety, depression, suicide), as well as behavioral and social problems (substance abuse, intimate partner violence), than the general population. Discrimination alone does not account for the entire disparity.

 

The second bombshell was exploded by a top researcher for the American Psychological Association (APA), lesbian activist, Dr. Lisa Diamond, co-author-in-chief of ‘the APA Handbook’ of sexuality and psychology and one of the APA’s most respected members.  She admitted that sexual orientation was “fluid” and not unchangeable.  By doing so, Dr. Diamond confirmed that the myth that “homosexuals can’t change” is now a dead-end theory.  She summarized the relevant findings in a lecture at Cornell University stating that abundant research has now established that sexual orientation – including attraction, behaviour and self-identity – is fluid for both adolescents and adults for both genders. The Multiculturalist Left and the lying Homosexual activist-lobbyists have been brainwashing Americans for decades. Even now I am guessing NO one has heard the recent science confirming the brainwashing lies.

 

ERGO, the reality of the Will of God found in His Word shows the purpose of the Creator of one male and one female is the standard He intends for His creation. If God’s Word calls same-sex relations an abomination in His sight, then it is so – Leviticus 18: 22; 20: 13 NKJV:

 

22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

 

13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

 

God in Christ is no less approving –Romans 1: 18-19, 26-27 NKJV:

 

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

And yet, it is not God’s will that any human should perish in eternal separation from His Presence. All humanity is born in a sin nature. That is the reason the Almighty emptied Himself of Divine prerogatives and became fully human to born as a perfect human to be the sacrificial lamb for Adam’s hereditary disobedience.

 

Jesus the infant was conceive in the womb of a human female by the power of the Holy Spirit (not human copulation as the Muslims erroneously believe). The infant Jesus became a man. Jesus as the Son of God and the son of man simultaneously, ministered His Divine purpose for three years then became the Lamb of God dying for humanity’s sin nature so that all that believe in the Resurrection of Jesus are re-united with God Almighty in spirit now and in our resurrection from the dead our natural appearance will be changed spirit, soul and body –Galatians 3: 10-14 NKJV:

 

The Law Brings a Curse

 

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”[a] 11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”[b] 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.”[c]

 

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”[d]), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

 

I have no idea how those of the Jewish faith handle the brutal punishments of the Law in this modern era, but for Christians the punished prescribed in the Law in this life has eternally been paid for by the Lamb of God. That includes the numerous sin punishments that is also applied to heterosexuals and as to the subject of this post, those who have made the choice of a homosexual lifestyle.

 

I am fairly certain that homosexual apologists and Leftist Multiculturalists will try to disarm God’s Word by attempting to twist it to bend to human academics to fit their world view. That is unfortunately the problem with Humanist thinking. Humanism intentionally dismisses the Divine paradigm because world order darkness blinds Humanists unable to see the Light of Salvation of Jesus Christ the Son of God/Lamb of God that can Redeem those stuck in Humanist darkness.

 

That is the plus of Rep. Jim Bridenstine, President Trump’s nomination to lead NASA. If Bridenstine is a good Christian, he will not make a person blinded in homosexual darkness suffer for their social choices but rather direct them according to merit. That is probably unlike a virulent homosexual that would make it their life’s aim to persecute a Christian employee for their beliefs with shaming or worse – violence.

 

In essence, the Left and Homosexual activists are actually attempting to utilize a religious test to disqualify Jim Bridenstine from being the next NASA Administrator. I like the observations made by Mark Whittington on the Bridenstine nomination:

 

However, it appears that Bridenstine is being subjected to a religious test for the position that he has been nominated for. Many people oppose some items on the LGBT agenda out of sincere religious conviction. Bridenstine’s private and political beliefs are being used as a disqualifier for becoming head of NASA, even though those views would not affect his conduct as administrator. The space agency has no influence whatsoever on whether or not people of the same sex have the right to marry. That issue was decided by a ruling of the Supreme Court and is now the law of the land.

The LGBTQ ungodly nuts are trying to same political muscle they used way back in 1973 to disqualify Jim Bridenstine in 2017. The Left-Wing Washington Post actually has a news story of those that are supportive of the Bridenstine nomination largely due to the fact his Congressional record demonstrated a huge support for NASA’s space exploration agenda with the addition of private capital cooperation:

WaPo gravitates to the Left so it is unsurprising that the article continues by stating that in Congress Bridenstine was critical of Obama spending more on Climate Change than on weather forecasting.

 

The Senate will be involved in the confirmation hearings for Bridenstine. The Multiculturalist Dems in the Senate were extremely displeased that Bridenstine does not share the concerns of the immediacy of a doomed earth from constantly fudged statistics pointing toward Climate Change disasters.

 

Between Homosexual activists and Leftist Eco-Marxists, Bridenstine at the very least can be grilled by Leftist Senators about issues that have zero to do with the science of space exploration.

 

My fellow Okies, write, email or phone Senators Inhofe and Langford to make a stir about the real issues that Jim Bridenstine should be judged as a capable Administrator of NASA.

I am a Fox News addict. It has not escaped my notice that Fox News has gone through a major shake-up. The shake-up really began with Gretchen Carlson exposing sexual harassment as an old boy culture pervasive at Fox. The now fairly documented sexual harassment culture on my Conservative channel was both disturbing and saddening.

 

Carlson’s successes have brought out into the public a slew of other Fox News employees doing some finger-pointing. The finger-pointing has resulted in the revamping of the Fox News line-up largely with the demise with news icon Bill O’Reilly.

 

I suspect some of the finger-pointing has devolved into false accusations for a payday on the backs of actual victims. I wasn’t there ergo, all I have are suspicions of actual and mythological victimhood accusations.

 

With the demise of Roger Ailes as the one-time head of Fox News, I have noticed the undesirable lurch to the Left. Many have noticed this political spectrum shift before me, but I was unwilling to concur. It is now obvious.

 

Still, Fox News is more Conservative than the other news networks that seem more like Leftist propaganda machines than honest reporters of the news. Nonetheless, the Fox News lurch to the Left suggests another future outright Leftist propaganda machine coming soon to America’s news landscape.

 

The blame for Fox’s deviation Left seems to upon owner Rupert Murdoch’s sons – James and Lachlan Murdoch.

Many of us have seen this coming for a long time. The more powerful Fox became (on the backs of the right), the more to Fox moved to the left.

 

Roger Ailes should never have been forced to resign, nor Bill O’Reilly (even though I am not a fan). Rupert Murdoch’s two silver-spooned stooges, James Murdoch (Tweedledee) and Lachlan Murdoch (Tweedledum) are systematically dismantling the once-great network. And like all true leftists, they are tone deaf to the cacophony of complaints.

 

The cringe-worthy Geraldo Rivera, Juan Williams, Martha McCallum, Bob Beckel (!), why not Tomi Lahren? …. I turned it off after the election. The only place for Conservatives to get our news is online.

There is a great opportunity for a right-of-center news channel. It seems inevitable. And so we wait the second coming of a conservative network, where the work of my colleagues and I will have a home.

 

Serial plagiarists such as Fareed Zakaria are just as powerful as ever on CNN, but a hint of indiscretion, and Fox cuts you loose. We still have Hannity. But for how long? Only Rupert knows. Once Rupert goes, it’s over.

When Bill O’Reilly left Fox News he declared, “I am very confident the truth will come out and when it does I don’t know if you are going to be surprised, but I think you are going to be shaken as I am.” Some observers think he was referring not to the sexual harassment allegations against him, but to behind-the-scenes maneuvers by one of Rupert Murdoch’s sons, James, and his very liberal wife, Kathryn. Her bio says, “Between 2007-2011, Ms. Murdoch served as Director of Strategy & Communications for the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) where she also managed CCI ‘s partnership with Microsoft in the development of a global greenhouse gas emissions tracking software.”

 

In short, she is a globalist insider who sees the green hysteria as a viable way to control people and their lifestyles.

 

We warned back in 2007 in our column, “Rupert Murdoch Picks Liberal Son as Successor,” that James Murdoch was maneuvering to take control of Fox News. We also noted that James Murdoch “buys into global warming hysteria,” and that his liberal philosophy on environmental and other matters “could become the party line” of the Fox News Channel.

 

It turns out that his wife is more of an environmental zealot than he is.

 

Accuracy in Media had attended the annual meeting of the Fox News parent company, raising concern about James Murdoch’s increasing influence in the company and his attacks on conservative groups, such as the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI). He wrote an article for the Guardian attacking CEI for dispensing “inaccurate propaganda” about the global warming issue.

 

Of course, many conservatives regard the theory of man-made global warming as a hoax and a means by which government at many levels hopes to control, regulate and tax the use of natural resources.

 

Referring to the alleged effects of global warming, now called climate change, James Murdoch said, “We can have an enormous impact if we encourage our customers to make simple, effective changes in their lifestyles.”

 

That’s easy for James and Kathryn Murdoch to say; he is the heir to a multi-billion dollar fortune. “The Murdoch fortune now stands at around $14 billion,” noted the publication Inside Philanthropy in 2015. “Because Rupert seems to have zero interest in harnessing this wealth to philanthropy, that challenge will fall to his kids.”

 

One of the “focus areas” of the Murdochs’ Quadrivium Foundation is “natural resources.” But rather than exploit them for the good of humanity, the foundation supports “innovation” in their use. This is code, as James Murdoch suggested in his Guardian article, for restricting the economic lifestyle choices of consumers.

 

A link from their foundation directs people to the webpage of the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) and an advertisement denouncing President Trump for “failing the environment.” Page 25 of the EDF annual report lists “Kathryn Murdoch, President, Quadrivium Foundation,” as a member of the Board of Directors. “At the end of fiscal 2016,” the report states, “EDF’s net assets stood at $217 million, providing a strong financial foundation as we pursue our ambitious environmental goals.”

 

With the Murdoch billions behind them, those “goals,” which include what the United Nations calls a new “economic development model” to replace global capitalism, could become a reality.

 

That was the goal, at least, until Donald Trump became president and, as AIM’s Roger Aronoff recently noted, indicated his determination to confront the global “climate change agenda.”

 

The Gateway Pundit website notes that Kathryn Murdoch regularly trashes Trump on Twitter. Indeed, her Twitter feed goes after many different conservative personalities and policies of all kinds. A collection of her most significant Tweets includes attacks on Trump aide Steve Bannon, and despondency over Trump’s election victory. On the other hand, she praised Fox News personality Shepard Smith for criticizing Trump.

 

Her Tweets have included messages such as:

 

  • A vote for Trump is a vote for climate catastrophe.

 

  • Can we impeach a candidate? Seriously.

 

  • Happy to see this on Fox News. The final argument for Hillary Clinton, based on 3 indisputable facts.

 

The latter was a reference to a Lanny Davis pro-Hillary article on the Fox News website.

 

When her husband and his brother Lachlan move to the left, she is quick to retweet those comments, such as when they sent a letter declaring, “We deeply value diversity and believe immigration an essential part of America’s strength.” The letter was intended as a rebuff to President Trump’s effort to restrict the entry into the U.S. of illegal aliens and Islamic terrorists.

 

Despite the Murdochs’ disdain for the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) and the likelihood that the group will receive less and less coverage from Fox News, its staffers are demonstrating significant clout with the new Trump administration. In regard to Trump’s promise during the campaign to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, The Washington Times reports that Trump’s top advisers have received a unique proposal from CEI, arguing that the agreement be declared a treaty and sent to the Senate to be killed.

 

CEI’s interesting proposal would rectify former President Obama’s unconstitutional decision to make the Paris accord into an executive agreement, without the need for Congressional input or approval. By declaring it to be a treaty and sending it to the Senate, where it is not likely to get the necessary two-thirds vote for ratification, Trump could force lawmakers to take a stand on what CEI calls its demands for “regulations that will force Americans to pay more and more for energy.”

 

CEI’s message to Trump is, “Don’t listen to the Swamp. Please keep your campaign promise to withdraw the United States from the U.N. Paris Climate Treaty and send it to the Senate for a vote.”

 

The Fox News coverage of this showdown will be another indication of the pull that James and Kathryn Murdoch are starting to exert over the once “conservative” news channel.

The scientific community and media outlets that claimed Trump will silence scientists are now attacking one of their own for speaking up.

 

Congress is ramping up its investigation into a key climate study, now under further scrutiny after a federal whistleblower raised more questions about it this week. The scandal some are referring to as “Climategate Two” (you can learn about the first Climategate here) is quickly escalating after Dr. John Bates, a former top scientist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), exposed how an ex-colleague mishandled a report on global warming right before a major international climate conference in 2015.

 

House Science Committee Chairman Lamar Smith said during a Tuesday hearing that NOAA “has deceived the American people by falsifying data to justify a partisan agenda.” He will now push for all documents related to the climate study, materials he requested via subpoena in 2015 after Obama Administration officials refused to disclose them.

 

What Bates Revealed About a Famous Climate Study

 

The explosive allegations from Dr. Bates were detailed in the Daily Mail and on the scientific blog, Climate, Etc. on February 5. Bates accuses Tom Karl, former director of the NOAA office responsible for climate data, of manipulating temperature readings, failing to archive data, and ignoring agency protocols to rush publishing his study that debunked the well-known pause in global warming at the beginning of this century.

 

At the time, climate activists were in a panic because the premier scientific body in charge of climate science—the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)—admitted the rise in global temperatures had basically stalled from 1998 to 2012. This bombshell was included in the IPCC’s 2013 report, which would serve as the main primer leading up to the United Nations’ Climate Conference in Paris two years later.

 

World leaders were poised to obligate their countries (er, taxpayers) into paying hundreds of billions to ease climate change. The inconvenient truth that plenty of evidence showed the planet was not significantly warming would be hard to climatesplain away. To give the climate leaders a big assist, Karl worked with a team of scientists to prove the pause didn’t happen, and claim global temperatures were rising just as fast as they had been at the end of the twentieth century.

 

Karl specifically cites the IPCC report in the introduction of his paper published in Science in June 2015, a few months before the Paris conference. Under the headline, “Walking back talk of the end of warming,” the authors said, “Here, we present an updated global surface temperature analysis that reveals that global trends are higher than those reported by the IPCC. These results do not support the notion of a slowdown in the increase in global surface temperatures.”

 

The paper concludes that “the IPCCs statement is no longer valid.” In other words: settled.

 

The Climate Change Study Was Rigged

 

But Bates says the researchers “put a thumb on the scale” to reach their conclusions. He reveals other alarming details, like how the computer used to process the data suffered a complete failure. Chairman Smith responded immediately to Bates’s allegations, thanking him for “exposing the previous administration’s efforts to push their costly climate agenda at the expense of scientific integrity.”

 

Shortly after Bates’ exposé was posted, climate skeptics and conservative outlets began reporting on it—including Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Times (my piece in NRO is here). And of course it wasn’t long before climate activists and their media propagandists seized on Bates, attacking his credibility and motives while insisting Karl’s report was indeed credible and backed up by other scientists.

 

True to form, the same media that helped promote Karl’s study before the Paris climate conference overlooked key parts of Bates’s account. Neither the Washington Post, New York Times, nor the Associated Press mentioned IPCC as the source for the global warming pause, the main reason for Karl’s rebuke. Nor did they mention Bates’ shocking claim that the computer used to process the data had crashed.

 

Media Rushes to Defend Karl’s Study

 

Other lowlights from that group include the following.  New York Times headline: “No Data Manipulation in 2015 Climate Study, Researchers Say.” Reporter Henry Fountain starts by smearing the Daily Mail reporter who wrote Bates’ exposé, excusing away the accusations and claiming the global warming pause became a “cause célèbre among climate change denialists.” Fountain then cites a few scientists who support Karl and finishes up insisting the study had no impact on the Paris accord.

 

Associated Press headline: “Major Global Warming Study Again Questioned, Again Defended.” Reporter Seth Borenstein referred to the scandal as “bickering,” a “kerfuffle,” and a mere “hubbub” about data management and storage.

 

Washington Post headline: “As the Planet Warms, Doubters Launch a New Attack on a Famous Climate Change Study.” Do you really need anything after that? Reporter Chelsea Harvey refutes every point of Bates’s account and cites “multiple” scientists who support the Karl study. (Bates said in his blogpost he first offered his story to the Washington Post last year and they declined. Shocker.)

 

The Media Weren’t The Only Study Apologists

 

The media weren’t the only Karl study apologists. Rush Holt, the head of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) which publishes Science, testified at Smith’s hearing on Tuesday. Holt brushed off the allegations—this was about 48 hours after the article posted, basically no time to check the veracity—calling it an “internal dispute” and concluding it’s “not the making of a big scandal.” Another committee member warned Holt to withhold judgement on the matter until the matter was fully investigated.

 

There’s a little (a lot?) of irony to this whole affair. The very same scientific community and liberal media outlets that have been hysterical since November 8, claiming the Trump Administration will silence scientists and have a chilling effect on science, are the very same people now attacking one of their own for speaking up. Chalk this up as one more example of liberal hypocrisy, exposed thanks to Donald Trump.

Setting-up Newbill’s Market Collapse & Eco-Marxist Warnings

The pseudonymous Tony Newbill left two comments that had very little to do with his comment line of thinking to the post “New Anti-Semitic Film All the Rage in Turkey”. That post was about a Jew-hatred film circulating Turkey that the Turkish government endorses more than repudiates.
 
Newbill’s comments center around a wealth management product being promoted that promises a plan that will help Joe American to develop a strategy to remain solvent after a global Leftist elites set in course an economic collapse that will trigger a 25 year economic depression. The second Newbill comment are his thoughts about Eco-Marxists utilizing a Climate Change ideology that is designed for the emergence of a Central Government management of society that will suppress basic Liberties Americans take for granted. This Climate Change ideology INCLUDES a forced depopulation agenda.
 
The second Newbill comment is fairly understandable with Newbill links which include –cough- TED Talk propaganda clips. The first Newbill comment I think needs a bit more elaboration or at least I thought so since I have never heard of the CIA’s Project Prophecy used to predict future catastrophes.
 
When I first started search engine explorations of the existence of a CIA program called Project Prophecy I was a bit concerned all links seemed to point to Jim Rickards as a CIA inside-man that worked on the original Project Prophecy. All those links are all about the marketing video Tony Newbill links to either as part of marketing promotion or from Conspiracy Theory websites that fact-minded people tend to pooh-pooh because of the source.
 
In that search I actually found a Youtube version of marketing version produced though by the company marketing Project Prophecy 2.0 which claims to utilized the old CIA tools for personal wealth management in a dangerous and gloomy future economy. I will post that Youtube video (about 45 minutes) if you wish to watch the whole thing. It actually is quite interesting. For those of you who desire a shorter taste of Money Morning video here is a 16 minute examination of the Rickard assertions including short clips from the original that doesn’t endorse the Project Prophecy 2.0 findings but neither does it refute.

I did find a non-marketing blog who calls himself COGwriter (a pseudonym for Bob Thiel) a Ph.D. holder and a Pastor in the Continuing Church of God (CCOG). Some people (including myself) may question some of Bob Thiel’s theology, but I believe his focus on Denominational theological matters separates himself from the typical Conspiracy Theorists pooh-poohed by the show-me-the-facts-Jack individual. A reader sent me a link to a video about something called ‘Project Prophecy’ and the view of a former participant, Jim Rickards (who says he once worked for the CIA) who believes that the USA is going to end up with the collapse of the USA dollar as the world’s reserve currency and that it is subject to a 25 year depression.  He also advocated books, lectures, a newsletter, and other things that I did not purchase, nor am I promoting them here.

Here is some information from a related website about ‘Project Prophecy’:
 
Project Prophecy was to develop a system or systems that could in effect foretell a terrorist act in the United States or world wide by looking for anomalous stock market trades that would profit heavily by betting on an unforeseen (to most) terrorist event to occur. For instance, if a peculiar or odd amount of trades were placed saying that the stock of a particular cruise-ship company was going to go down dramatically, the U.S. government could place assets and surveillance on the ships etc. of that company to be on the lookout for terrorism, and hopefully stop the act before it was able to be executed. Also, by tracing back the questionable stock market trades, the government might be able to see who knew what at what time and perhaps track down the responsible terrorists in this fashion. Get the idea?
 
Project Prophecy Is Shelved
Jim Rickards and the team working on Project Prophecy were successful. They built a system that monitored hundreds of stocks and companies that they considered vulnerable to terrorist activity and financial gain. In fact, the system they built predicted the thwarted attack on an American airline company which was quashed by New Scotland Yard. The terrorist’s ostensible plan was to blow up a few international flights, the ones with the most Americans on board. While Project Prophecy was not a part of stopping the attack, the data and corresponding happenings did show that their thinking and programming was working. Unfortunately, as you might expect, the very government that envisioned, conceived, planned, paid for, and executed Project Prophecy, shelved project Prophecy. Not because it did not work, but perhaps because it worked too well.
 
Project Prophecy Breathes Again, But Under A Different Name
Project Prophecy was resurrected after a time. This time it was known as MARKINT. MARKINT was a derivation of project prophecy. However, rather than focus narrowly on terrorist activities, MARKINT used technology to track nearly any kind of trade that might be harmful or be seen as financial warfare in the markets. The video itself has a screen showing symbols of 16 US government agencies with intelligence branches that Jim Rickard says are concerned about the impact on the USA if the dollar ceases to be the world’s reserve currency.  Another screen shows the statement, “THE FALL OF THE DOLLAR AS THE GLOBAL RESERVE CURRENCY.”
 
Jim Rickards states that one or more US government agencies are “lying to us” and that the economy is in much worse shape than government officials let on or that many politicians truly realize.  He explains why there could be a 25 year depression, based upon historical information and charts and current information and charts [Blog Editor: Here is a PDF document of some of those charts, etc.].  He claims that, “Debt is now destroying economic growth.”
 
Actually, it is worse than that.  Debt accumulation is setting the USA up for destruction according to biblical prophecy.

For 50 years the environmental movement has unsuccessfully argued that we should save the planet for moral reasons, that there were more important things than money. Ironically, it now seems it will be money — through the economic impact of climate change and resource constraint — that will motivate the sweeping changes necessary to avert catastrophe.
 
The reason is we have now reached a moment where four words — the earth is full — will define our times. This is not a philosophical statement; this is just science based in physics, chemistry and biology. There are many science-based analyses of this, but they all draw the same conclusion — that we’re living beyond our means.
 
The eminent scientists of the Global Footprint Network, for example, calculate that we need about 1.5 Earths to sustain this economy. In other words, to keep operating at our current level, we need 50% more Earth than we’ve got.

Global Warming or Climate Change denial is a path villainized by the Left. The reality is there are now just as many if not more science guys who take the denier tact because they believe the changing climate has more to do with climate cycles than manmade contamination of the earth’s environment.

 

Indeed, when one reads the stats from Climate alarmist purporting that a majority of mainline scientists believe a manmade Climate catastrophe will occur unless those causes are dealt with are based on highly flawed surveys and flawed investigations scientific peer papers about the subject.

I continue to hear the fear mongers rhetoric concerning climate change and what we can do to keep us from being harmed. Some of these people do have our welfare in their hearts but there are others that have nothing but the almighty dollar in their minds.

 

Climate change is, in most cases, due to natural phenomenon and cannot be controlled by us. The only things we can control is the solid waste we produce in our every living and the carbon monoxide produced by our internal combustion engines.

 

So called “greenhouse gases” are a natural occurrence. They are nothing more than carbon dioxide, without which there would be no oxygen. The overabundance of carbon dioxide can be lessened by reforestation and controlled lumbering in the rain forests.

 

In the, guesstimated, four, plus, billion years of Mother Earth’s existence there have been millions of climate changes. During this period there have been thousands of magnetic pole changes. These have caused catastrophic climate changes, resulting in the extinction of many plants and animals. There have also been millions of other climate changes varying in intensity, and in most cases causing many changes in the flora and fauna existing at those times.

 

There is little we can do to control climate but some people, like our former Vice President Al Gore, have made billions of dollars and created hardships for us by using the EPA ” Environmental Protection Agency”, to ban or restrict the use of certain commodities, such as coal and prevented the drilling for petroleum products, the building of pipelines to transport them, and mandating the emissions testing of internal combustion engines.

 

Most of the things I have mentioned do little to change the environment and cost you and me dollars that are sometimes hard to come by, to comply with the edicts of the controlling agencies.

 

It is time to take a stand against these intrusions into our lives and wallets.

IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde continues to insist that there is little she can do without U.S. approval. Analysts point out that European countries, which continue to dominate the IMF’s board of directors and stand to lose the most clout under the reforms, have been happy to let the U.S. block the legislation even while publicly deploring the congressional delays. While American voting power would be mostly undiluted under the reforms, the greater power given to emerging countries would come largely at the expense of smaller European countries that would lose voting shares. Data published by the New York Stock Exchange at the end of March shows margin debt – the loans made by stock brokers to permit investor clients to buy stocks on credit – has reached a record high of $466 billion, approaching for the first time a half-trillion dollars.

The plans call for legitimate governments and dictatorships worldwide to share all private financial data on citizens. It is all openly inspired by, and modeled on, Obama’s Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) aimed at coercing banks and governments around the world into reporting all accounts and assets held by “U.S. persons” to the IRS. In his first term, Obama managed to get his paws on health care, banking, energy, student loans, the auto business, and more.  Now he has his sights set on your 401(k).

 

The left has had its eye on retirement savings for years, but so far takeover attempts have been rebuffed.  One egregious attempt was the proposal, following the 2010 financial crisis, to “safeguard” retirement savings by requiring that they be rolled over into Treasury bonds.  Had this legislation succeeded, it would have appropriated all or part of the retirement savings of millions of Americans.  The funds would have been used to finance further expansion of government.  In return, savers would have received a promissory note from the federal government similar that issued by the Social Security Trust Fund.

 

Needless to say, most investors were not keen to convert their savings into Treasury obligations — or, to be more precise, into an unsecured note promising a return approximating that of Treasury bonds.  That is because, as with every other endeavor, government’s management of retirement savings (aka Social Security) has been a disaster.

Despite its 2010 failure to take over retirement savings, the left has not given up.  As reported in WND, officials at the U.S. Treasury and Labor Departments continue discussions aimed at channeling private savings into Treasury obligations via a so-called “Automatic IRA.”  Once it has forced workers and employers to contribute to Automatic IRAs, and eventually forced existing savings into government obligations as well, government would control much of the investment capital in America.  The free market will cease to exist.

Perhaps in support of that goal, Dodd-Frank legislation of 2010 established the Office of Financial Research (OFR) [Blog Editor: This should sound familiar to the PDF report linked above!], which recently issued a report suggesting that mutual funds may pose a risk to financial stability. At several points in the report, the authors suggest that many aspects of the financial system are not at present highly regulated and that the risks of these unregulated private transactions are unknown.  The implication seems to be that greater government scrutiny is called for.

We have posted a Google Translate version of this article on August 13, but because of the significance of the insights of the writer we searched for real translators to make it into a more clear and understandable read. The result is a very interesting analysis of a monetary game played by the US and other countries through gold leasing and derivatives.

Gold Leasing Is A Tool For The Global Credit Game

The world’s financial and real estate crisis will eventually produce a credit crisis.

 

The price of gold is closely related with credit, the implication from suppression the gold price lies not only on gold, but more so in currencies and the trust behind currencies.

 

Gold leasing is an important innovation in the gold settlement system. Through continuous gold leasing the gold in the market can be circulated and produce derivatives, creating more and more paper gold. This is very significant for the United States. Gold leasing is a major tool for the Federal Reserve and other central banks in the West to secretly control and regulate the gold market, creating gold credit derivatives and global credit conflict.

 

China suffered from gold lease in the past

 

World gold leasing started in the 1980s, when the gold price rose to over 800 US$ per ounce. Gold leasing at that time effectively combated the price of gold. More strategically, the gold price affected national creditworthiness. A lower gold price suppressed the Soviet Union and China after 1989 when they were sanctioned by the West, in addition to the sanctions imposed on South Africa for apartheid. As all three were heavily dependent on gold to import necessities, the gold price had become a protection for foreign credit in these countries.

 

In the 1990s, the introduction of gold leasing effectively lowered the price of gold. Low gold and oil prices have caused great difficulties for China, the former Soviet Union and South Africa who were in dire need of foreign currencies. As a result, these countries had to sell resources or core assets very cheaply, which now have to be bought back more expensively. The West thus gained extensively by suppressing gold prices.

 

Gold credit is even more critical in today’s world where risk of global crises, war and conflicts increases. If a global full-scale conflict were to develop, the globalised financial system would collapse and trust in national currencies would vanish completely. Only liquid assets, of which the best liquid asset is gold, can establish trust between nations. Consequently, the trust in gold will become critical; gold can become a powerful weapon in the world credit game. Crude oil and other commodities that are difficult to store can’t be used as trust equivalents. Gold being the leading candidate is inevitable, thus led to gold leasing becoming the tool and mean of the world credit game.

 

Gold leasing to control credit

 

If the Fed were to engage in gold leasing, the lessee is the key in this process. In the bull market during the past several years, gold leasing agencies which shorted gold may incurred huge losses. Although these losses exist, we don’t see them because it’s possible for entities such as Lehman Brothers to manipulate their accounts. However, it is unlikely for the Fed to be involved directly in the shorting of gold reserves and manipulation of accounts, but it is entirely possible for the Fed to engage in gold leasing on a huge scale, and the related lessee could thus bear a huge loss. If the loss is exposed, even a large institution could collapse. This could create a crisis as bad as the one caused by the collapse of Lehman Brothers. Germany and the IMF should see the signs of such a crisis that would have a serious impact on the creditworthiness of countries and agencies.

Germany staged a coup on the US Fed

 

If the Fed’s large gold reserves are used in gold leasing, there will be a serious problem. Germany therefore will threaten the Fed’s dominant position by demanding their gold back; the Fed subsequently needs to withdraw the leased gold and thus could destabilize the market. This is a new credit game of international capital.

 

If the Fed is engaged in gold leasing it’s impossible that the Fed is able to show Germany and France their stored gold because the gold has been used in gold leasing. The Fed should be able to combine the remaining gold deposits from all remaining countries to allow for Germany’s inspection – Germany has no right to audit gold reserves of other countries. The Fed probably has agendas aimed at preventing Germany to inspect its gold or to ship it back to Germany. For the Fed, it is crucial that the dollar dominates the world and so the Fed will store gold reserves from countries all over the world to control the gold settlement system. If there were another gold settlement system, it would compete with the dollar’s trust. Natural gold credit would be a nightmare for the continuous printed dollar. The dollar can only be the world currency as a result of the United States controlling global gold settlement. However, if other countries want their gold back from the Fed, the Fed will lose its gold settlement position. Underneath the global gold reserves at the Fed, there is the promise of the United States to continue with the dollar-gold price under the Bretton Woods system. Since the collapse of the Bretton Woods system 30 years ago, it is suspected that the United States violated the original agreement; therefore other countries have the right to demand their gold reserves back from the Fed. 

 

…  If Germany holds its own gold reserves, this will restrict other countries to lease gold. Such action could create a panic over gold, subsequently support gold prices and blow the confidence of gold short sellers. This will have significantly more impact on the market’s confidence than actual market transactions. At a time when the market is concerned about the US Fed having a huge gold deficit, who dares to short gold on a massive scale? Here we should see the divergence between United States and Europe as well as with Germany.

Mr. Millar’s article on Germany and Europe grossly underestimates the extent to which German dominance in Europe was planned. “Might is right in politics and war” said the former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, while the former German Foreign Secretary said “Germany should now get all that Europe and the whole world refused in two world wars – a sort of smooth hegemony over Europe”. While Hitler had said of 1930s Czechoslovakia that they had no choice about joining the Third Reich because “the points are set” so Helmut Kohl used the same metaphor when he promoted the break up of Czechoslovakia in the early 1990s.

 

Germany’s Euro with its headquarters in Frankfurt is crippling the social and economic fabric of Europe and unelected technocrats were imposed on both the Greeks and the Italians as their “leaders”. Germany’s ruthless treatment of Greece and Cyprus contrasts with Greece’s generous post war aid to Germany after 1945 while the leader of the German Social Democrat party said that Italian democracy had “elected two clowns”.

 

German Europe has broken up both Czecohoslovakia (sic) and Yugoslavia, destroyed 27 national constitutions, 27 national parliaments and 17 central banks and pursued policies of supranational bureaucratic power and anti democratic centralisation all too reminiscent of the 1930s and 1940s. A United Nations-backed report released Monday says coal-fired power generation in Asia and cattle ranching in South America are the most damaging businesses for the environment, with hidden costs of those activities that exceed the value of their production.

 

The report, “Natural Capital at Risk – The Top 100 Externalities of Business,” says global output of basic goods – from cement and steel processing to agriculture, forestry, fisheries, mining and oil and gas exploration – caused damage totaling $7.3 trillion a year if pollution, water, greenhouse gases and waste were priced to reflect long-term impacts. The study was conducted by a business coalition for the Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB). The coalition’s backers include the United Nations, World Bank, businesses and conservation groups.

London & New Delhi, 15 April 2013 – The report, “Natural Capital at Risk – The Top 100 Externalities of Business”, estimates the global top 100 environmental externalities are costing the economy world-wide around $4.7 trillion a year in terms of the economic costs of greenhouse gas emissions, loss of natural resources, loss of nature-based services such as carbon storage by forests, climate change and air pollution-related health costs. This was released today from The TEEB for Business Coalition during the Business for the Environment summit in New Delhi.

 

Companies and their investors face both an opportunity and a significant problem. Consumer demand is set to grow significantly over the next few years with the increase in middle class consumers, especially in emerging markets. However, this is against a backdrop of increasing resource scarcity and the degradation of our natural ecosystems. One of the challenges will be to understand the value of the natural systems we rely on – commonly referred to as natural capital – and how these systems can be managed. The current business model creates significant environmental externalities. For example, water is not usually priced according to how scarce it is.  The report, authored by Trucost, identifies financial risk from environmental externalities e.g. damages from climate change, pollution, land conversion and depletion of natural resources, across business sectors at a regional level. It demonstrates that high impact business sectors make an economic loss when the costs of environmental damage such as their natural resource use and pollution costs are accounted for.
