Could 2020 Electoral College Fail Trump Reelection?

Joe Esposito just wrote on Facebook (I found on the group Friends Of Liberty Blog) about the growing amount of Dems vying between themselves for the Dem nomination to seemingly see who can be the most Socialist. BUT what caught my attention is Esposito’s view that the 2020 Electoral College outcome, appears to be working against President Trump’s reelection.

The thought kind of slapped me in the face because his observation seemed quite logical to me. If accurate, the President needs to get busy NOW to work the States that will push an Electoral College reelection!

Joe Esposito did not provide a title to his thoughts other than the moniker he includes with all his posts – “I THINK, THEREFORE I BLOG”. I’m arbitrarily coming up with a different title. I pray that doesn’t rub Mr. Esposito the wrong way.

Could 2020 Electoral College Fail Trump Reelection?

January 29, 2019 4:26 PM

Facebook Closed Group – Friends of Liberty Blog

One by one they announce for the presidency. Each is about as SOCIALISTIC as one can possibly be. Be prepared to be even more frightened for you cannot count out Dastardly Hillary. She hasn’t said YES but then again, she hasn’t said NO. It’s being reported with the INDICTMENT of Roger Stone she feels somewhat vindicated. The question people are asking, “Does she have the BALLS to give it another GO?” Inquiring minds would sure like to know. As of now Kamala Harris is the ‘new flavor of the month’. Her political strengths she really tries to assert. But she is as VACUOUS as they come, sort of like a Barack Obama in a skirt. She is one of many Democrat LIGHTWEIGHTS who keep pushing one another more and more to the LEFT. Their LUNATIC fringe is an absolute state of glee. It is utterly unfathomable that any of these DIRTBAGS can find their way to the Presidency.

But we must realize that the electoral map is in their favor. President Trump in his reelection bid has absolutely no room for error. There’s no doubt he will hold on to his southern base, but he also needs Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. We are a long way from the 2020 campaign. Between now and then anything can happen. For the past two years TRUMP HATE has turned politics on its head. It’s been in utter turmoil. The disgusting mainstream media certainly ‘stirs the pot.’ It brings everything to a boil. The extreme negative coverage of Trump brings the FAR LEFT LUNATICS much hope. They’re determined to force him out of the Presidency. The thought of any of these Democrat hopefuls becoming President of our beloved America is sheer LUNACY.

The HATERS see Trump as battered, bruised and beaten. His future they see as getting [more and] more BLEAK. Our President may be down but is only temporary. He may have lost this SHUTDOWN battle but in the end,  he will win this WAR. He’ll achieve a VICTORY. But in the meantime, the HATERS are cheering and seem to be riding high. It is enough to give us much pain. In the court of public opinion there is much to gain. Trump must focus with laser precision on what must be done. We all know what it is. FIXING THE IMMIGRATION CRISIS. He doesn’t need to be reminded that was the main reason that he won. If he does this, he will win re-election no matter what POS** the Democrats decide to run.

**[Blog Editor: I’m afraid I am quit lacking in acronyms used on the Internet. I don’t have a clue what “POS” represents. In the context of the sentence, perhaps this acronym translation conveys the Esposito intent:

Point Of Sale – POS

Updated Jun 19, 2018

What is a Point Of Sale – POS

A point of sale (POS), or point of purchase, is the place where a customer executes the payment for goods or services, and where sales taxes may become payable, whether it be in a physical store, where POS terminals and systems are used to process card payments, or a virtual sales point such as a computer or mobile electronic device.

Support Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch in Wisconsin’s Recall Election

On June 5, 2012 Wisconsin is running a Recall Election for incumbents Governor Scott Walker and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. If that Recall Election was held one day later on the sixth an appropriate term for Republicans could be D-Day in Wisconsin. Instead of the Allies invading Normandy on June 6, 1944 to retake Nazi occupied land, the Republicans can storm the polling booths to support the successful changes that Walker and Kleefisch have accomplished in Wisconsin by scaring the daylights out of Wisconsin Leftists and Wisconsin Union thugs. Alas the Election Day for Walker and Kleefisch supporters is a day earlier than historical D-Day. The imagery is still valid nonetheless. You Wisconsin voters, if you wish to see Wisconsin to keep going the road of attracting more businesses and the reduction of the State Budget to turn a deficit to a surplus, then you really need to vote for Walker and Kleefisch.

I have been following the Tea Party Express support of Governor Walker for some time. Now here we are at the last minute in terms of the election process and the Tea Party Express is beginning to throw their weight of support behind Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch as well. That means money is needed to counteract the money of the Left Wing Dems and the thuggish Unions that are more concerned about holding onto a power structure than the future of Wisconsin.

By now I am guessing most Wisconsins have a handle on who to support and to where their campaign money is going. So those Conservatives residing outside of Wisconsin need to understand that a GOP win for the Governor and Lt. Governor will go a long way toward taking a chunk out of the Obama Leftist-Socialist agenda to transform America away from a Free Market Christian Moral oriented goal.

So it is time to not only give to Governor Walker but also to Lt. Governor Kleefisch either directly to their campaigns or indirectly to organization like the Tea Party Express (TPX is one of many of Tea Party organizations that recognize that money is need to offset the Dem-Union propaganda campaign).

Check out just how articulate Rebecca Kleefisch is in expressing Tea Party principles and the real successes of Walker/Kleefisch in Wisconsin – posted 4/16/12. This gal will go further than just Lt. Governor in her future:

Someone else needs Tea Party support in Wisconsin and we are there to help – will you join us?

We have been telling you for month about the importance of defeating the union and liberal left led Recall against Gov. Walker, but there is someone else that needs our support that is facing a Recall of her own.

Rebecca Kleefisch at TPX Endorsement

Gov. Walker’s Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch is facing a Recall of her own, that is independent of Gov. Walker’s, that is being funded by the unions and the liberal left and with the election only 14 DAYS away, she needs Tea Party support to survive.

Although she doesn’t always see the front-page headlines that Gov. Walker sees, her Recall election is very important to the Tea party cause.  Lt. Gov Kleefisch is one of the bright rising stars in a group of strong conservative women that we support (if you watch the video of the press conference, I am sure that you will agree). In addition, if Gov. Walker survives his Recall, but Lt. Governor Kleefisch does not, it will make Gov. Walker’s job very difficult.

Lt. Gov. Kleefisch deserves our full support as she has been a champion of Gov. Walker’s reforms and stalwart supporter of Tea Party values every step of the way.

That is why the Tea Party Express has been fighting for Lt. Gov. Kleefisch and our chairman Amy Kremer was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin yesterday to voice our steadfast support for her and her battle against the unions and liberal left.

Amy Kremer giving TPX Kleefisch Endorsement

Please join us in supporting Lt. Gov. Kleefisch in her Recall battle as well!

Lt. Gov. Kleefisch summed it up perfectly yesterday when she said:

“I wanted to make sure that folks understand how grateful I am for the endorsement and that I stand shoulder to shoulder with those who seek to preserve the liberties and freedoms that we have in this country, but also understand that our Governor needs his best partner on the Lt. Governor’s office.”

We need your immediate support to stand up to the liberal left and union bosses and to make sure that our Defend Governor Walker and Lt. Governor Kleefisch Campaigns are as successful as last year’s Tea Party Express campaigns to defend Republican Senators in their recalls and our campaign to elect Justice Prosser.

She is an strong conservative women that we must defend and needs our immediate support!  Donate $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000, or even more! Click here to contribute now!

Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch Thankful for Tea Party Express’ Endorsement

ByDavid Cotey

May 21, 2012

Wauwatosa Patch

The lieutenant governor, who faces a recall election in about two weeks, stood shoulder to shoulder with Amy Kremer, Chairman of the Tea Party Express, at a press conference Monday, May 21.

The national Tea Party Express has been a prominent player on the Wisconsin recall scene for nearly a year, and on Monday, it promised to remain one until Election Day.

In a joint press conference in Milwaukee, Amy Kremer, chairman of the Tea Party Express, publicly endorsed Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, who is facing a challenge from Democrat Mahlon Mitchell in the June 5 recall election.

“I want people around the country to know the accomplishments of the lieutenant governor and how she has been a strong conservative supporter for Governor (Scott) Walker and stood behind him,” Kremer said, as Kleefisch stood by her side. “They have been working hand in hand to make sure (good) things happen for the citizens of Wisconsin.”

Kremer said the Tea Party Express will be in Wisconsin on June 1 for a bus tour through the state. She said it is not uncommon for the group, the largest and one of the most prominent tea party organizations in the nation, to endorse candidates at a federal level, but said Wisconsin is a special case.

“This is, we believe, ground zero heading into going into November’s general election,” Kremer said. “People across the country are paying attention … We’ve been focused on what’s happening here.”

Tea party groups nationwide have been involved with the Wisconsin recalls for some time. In January, Wisconsin Grandsons of Liberty and We The People of the Republic recruited nearly 10,000 volunteers to scour over signed recall petitions to scrutinize the validity of signatures.

Another tea party group, The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama, has been sending out emails regularly in an effort to raise money to help fight the Walker recall.

And last August, when six Republican state senators faced recall opposition, the Tea Party Express held several rallies around the state. At a Thiensville rally in the 8th Senate District, where incumbent Sen. Alberta Darling was being challenged by Democratic state Rep. Sandy Pasch, several hundred supporters came out, though Darling herself did not make an appearance.

Kleefisch, however, eagerly accepted the endorsement from Kremer and the tea party with a little more than two weeks before the election. She said she spoke at her first tea party event four years ago, believes in the movement and continues to support the tea party’s direction and beliefs.

“I wanted to make sure people understand how grateful I am for this endorsement and recognition, not just that I stand shoulder to shoulder with those who seek to preserve the liberties and freedoms that we have in this country but also those who understand that our governor needs his best partner in the lieutenant governor’s office,” Kleefisch said.

Kleefisch said as lieutenant governor she has served the role of jobs ambassador, leading several small business roundtable discussions on how to improve the business atmosphere in the state. She said she has approached out-of-state businesses about coming to Wisconsin, and has spent time working on improving workforce development and matching up unemployed workers with open jobs.

The Tea Party Express’ endorsement was met with criticism from Mitchell’s camp, where Kleefisch was accused of relying on “out-of-state right-wing radicals.”

“I am proud to have the support of police officers, firefighters, teachers, nurses, electricians, and other middle class men and women throughout Wisconsin,” Mitchell said in a news release. “We need to bring Wisconsin back together. Middle class families cannot afford the Walker-Kleefisch Tea Party agenda that is dividing our state.”

Kremer said Kleefisch needs the support and help from “people across the country and people in Wisconsin,” and that the recalls are frivolous and a waste of taxpayers’ money. She said Kleefisch and Walker should be lauded, not recalled.

“Washington and Wisconsin are very similar, except that Wisconsin is on the right path and Washington is on the wrong path. We actually think Washington could take a lot of lessons from Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch and Governor Walker,” Kremer said.

“When you look at what’s going on in Washington, where the Senate had not passed a budget in over three years and the only answer is to tax and spend and tax and spend and tax and spend some more, it doesn’t work,” she added. “You compare that to what happened here in Wisconsin when the governor and lieutenant governor took office, a budget was passed right away and they closed that $3.6 billion deficit.”

URGENT: She needs Tea Party help in Wisconsin

TPX – History

Our Country Deserves Better – Tea Party Express is considered the largest and most successful political action committee within the Tea Party movement. Tea Party Express began as Our Country Deserves Better Committee, which began its rise to prominence during the 2008 election cycle when John McCain tapped Sarah Palin as his vice president pick. OCDB aired hundreds of thousands of dollars in television advertisements for Governor Palin, including a “Thank You Sarah Palin” ad campaign to help promote her conservative voice in America.

The enthusiasm for the Tea Party movement became obvious to the OCDB team when supporters not only funded the “Thank You Sarah Palin” campaign, but also voiced their desire to keep the organization active by opposing Barack Obama’s radical policies. A poll was commissioned asking supporters if OCDB should take the fight to Obama, and an overwhelming 97% of respondents replied with a “yes.” (READ MORE)

Thuggery Involved in Walker Recall

Walker v Union Machine

John R. Houk

© March 22, 2012

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is facing a recall election because of the sour grapes and vilification of Unions and Leftists. In a failed effort to reverse successes achieved by Governor Walker the Leftist Dems and Unions tried to regain the Senate majority be doing a recall election of State Senators. The ploy failed! The Republican remained the majority political party.

So the Dems and Unions set their eyes on Governor Walker himself. The Governor faces a recall election on June 5. The path to the recall already demonstrated probable voter fraud to register signatures on petitions as legal voters. When the Walker camp wanted to examine the signatures to verify they registered voters rather than dead people or Mickey Mouse, a Wisconsin Judge nixed the examination.

The refusal of the State Appellate Court to uphold the original ruling of the State Circuit Court seemed a bit suspicious. Twenty-nine Wisconsin Judges had signed the recall petition to dump Governor Walker. These 29 Judges should have recused themselves from any Court cases involved with a recall election and especially pertaining to the validity of petitions put forth by the corrupt Unions and the nefarious Leftist Dems.

So what has raised the ire that Unions and Dems are resorting to machine politics of yesteryear against Governor Scott Walker?

Walker is the target of a recall effort funded by national labor unions. Why? Reforms he made to balance the budget have dramatically diminished the influence of public employee unions. If not reversed, these reforms will inspire similar efforts across the country, and the outsized power of public sector unions will finally be reined in.

Walker came to office in the Republican wave of 2010. He inherited a mess. Under his profligate predecessor, Jim Doyle, state government had operated almost as a slush fund for public employee unions. Giveaways to teachers and others put the state on an unsustainable fiscal path, so Doyle raised some taxes and threatened to raise others. He raided a state fund set up to cover medical liability, essentially stealing contributions doctors had made to the pooled account. The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled against that pilfering, but the money had already been spent. Even after budget gimmickry that would make Fannie and Freddie blush, the official deficit was $3.6 billion.

Just over a year later, Walker and the Republicans in the state legislature have nearly eliminated the deficit. For the two-year budget cycle, the state will show a $143 million shortfall because the stagnant economy has resulted in lower tax receipts than had been projected. But the shortfall is for the first half of the cycle; Wisconsin will run a surplus in the current fiscal year. And Walker said last week that he will eliminate the remaining shortfall without raising taxes. It’s a credible claim. He reduced the deficit without raising taxes. In fact, one of his first moves upon being sworn in was to cut taxes on businesses. His subsequent reforms have allowed property tax receipts to go down for the first time in years—by some $47 million.

The recall vote Walker faces comes because of these results. The key to his success was his restructuring of health and retirement benefits for many state employees, asking them to contribute 5.8 percent of their salary to their pensions (up from 1 percent or less) and to pay 12.6 percent of their health insurance premiums (up from 6 percent or so).

The unions correctly understood these changes as a mortal threat. Without compulsory membership, unions would lose a major source of funds. And without the ability to bargain collectively for benefits, the unions would lose their most compelling argument to convince public employees to contribute a chunk of their income—in many cases more than $1,000 per year—for the privilege of membership. So they took to the streets in massive numbers and pressured the Democrats they’d elected to do everything possible to sabotage Walker’s plan. Democrats in the state senate fled to Illinois. Protesters occupied the state capitol. The fight captured national attention for months in 2011.

The unions lost that battle, but they did not give up the war. They launched an aggressive effort to recall several Republicans in the state senate with the hope of reversing the reforms before it became clear that they were working. They spent heavily—an estimated $30 million—and lost again.

Meanwhile, the results of the changes began coming in. In Milwaukee, the reforms saved some $11 million, an embarrassing windfall for Democratic mayor Tom Barrett, who had predicted that the city’s structural deficit would “explode.” Localities across the state have seen similar savings. There is no disputing the central fact of Walker’s tenure as governor: His reforms are working.

That’s a huge problem for the public employee unions as they try to convince Wisconsinites that the man responsible for this dramatic turnaround should be recalled. So they’re focusing on two other issues: his 2010 campaign and an investigation into the activities of former Walker employees.

In light of the success of Walker’s reforms, complaining about what he said in 2010 seems unlikely to win many votes. So Walker’s opponents want to change the subject. Last week, Mike Tate, chairman of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, toured the state in an attempt to link Walker more closely to an investigation of some of his former employees. Here again, Democrats have resorted to distorting reality in order to smear Walker.

… (Great Scott; by STEPHEN F. HAYES; Feb 20, 2012, Vol. 17, No. 22; Weekly Standard)

The campaign against Governor Walker is not based on what is good for Wisconsin. Rather the thuggish Union and the Leftist Dems of Wisconsin are out to get their duly elected Governor because his success in Wisconsin could very possibly mean the destruction of the power base that has perpetuated corrupt Unions and fiefdom Democrats.

The Unions are not hedging their bets with the recall election of Governor Walker. They are still doing the thug thing. Republican State Senator Pam Galloway is resigning early from her first term in Office. Officially she is telling that the ill health of a couple of family members has led to her decision. And yet some media investigation which some credit to Media Trackers, that Union thug boss John Spiegelhoff had been running a campaign of intimidation against soon resigning Senator Galloway to scare her from voting for Governor Walker’s economic change around for Wisconsin.

Whether you live in Wisconsin or not, friends of sane politics and actual Liberty really should support Governor Scott Walker to overcome the huge amount of money from the nefarious sources of corrupt Unions and Leftist Democrats that have been twisting data into lies and/or simply outright lying to place irresponsible government back into Wisconsin.

Why should those of us outside Wisconsin support Governor Walker? The reason is because Wisconsin Unions and Leftists are merely mirroring the underhandedness of Leftist-in-Chief President Barack Hussein Obama.

Wisconsin Still Faces Union and Leftist Irresponsibility

WI - Fire No Show Dems

John R. Houk

© August 11, 2011

The Wisconsin GOP won a victory for budget responsibility on Tuesday winning four out of six Recall Elections in the State’s Senate. This was a defeat for Unions which do more to harm the economy than they do to help the employed they purport to represent.

Unfortunately it appears the Dems are not done with stalling budget responsibility in Wisconsin. There is a RINO that is contemplating bolting the Republican Party and return to the Democratic Party. Yes you read that correctly – “return”.

The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama reports that Wisconsin State Senator Dale Shultz was once a Dem and is now considering a return to the Dems undoubtedly with the promise of political benefits for bolting. That definitely makes Shultz a Republican in Name Only. It is evident that Shultz is a career politician with center Left leanings that associates with a political party according to the best way to keep his political Office.

There is a solution to Shultz’s political mercinarism.

After the Dems used State laws to attempt to take back the Wisconsin Senate with Union backing, the GOP managed to get two Recall Elections against two of the Dem State Senators that fled to Illinois in an agenda to stall the majority GOP in the Wisconsin Senate.

Wisconsin Dem Senators Jim Holperin and Robert Wirch must face the music of their constituents for stalling fiscal responsibility.

The seats, held by Democratic incumbents Jim Holperin of Conover and Robert Wirch of Pleasant Prairie, are the last of the nine recall elections initiated by voters since the state and Senate became divided over Gov. Scott Walker’s plan to strip most collective bargaining rights from public workers.

Now, discontent over the fact that Holperin and Wirch joined their Democratic Senate colleagues in fleeing to Illinois in what turned out to be an unsuccessful attempt to block a vote on the collective bargaining bill may lead to a big first for tea party supporters in Wisconsin. (The Capital Times, August 11, 2011 – link above)

This means that Wisconsin will still be a snapshot of the upcoming national November 2012 elections. We Conservatives and Tea Party Movement supporters must continue to support the effort in Wisconsin to keep the Dems away from their status quo agenda of tax, spend and Union economic irresponsibility.

The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama is a good place to donate money for their effort to bring Tea Party principles to Wisconsin and defeat Obama-like politicians. There are other Tea Party organizations to look at, especially local Wisconsin affiliates so choose one and let’s keep Wisconsin fiscally responsible.

URGENT: Republican May Switch Party in Wisconsin RECALL Nightmare

From: Patriot Mary

Sent: 8/10/2011 5:38 PM

Sent by: The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama

Throughout today we’ve learned more details about the possibility that ‘moderate’ Republican Dale Schultz may bolt the GOP and join with the Democrats.  He is under intense pressure from Senate Democrats to switch sides – in fact Schultz once was a Democrat.  Schultz also was the ONLY Republican who voted against Gov. Walker’s budget reform bill and then publicly criticized Governor Walker for his efforts to bring fiscal sanity to Wisconsin.

We learned today that Schultz even went to the Democrat Leader in the Senate and offered himself as a vote for them in the Senate.

This would be disastrous and would mean Democrats would be able to block Gov. Walker’s agenda in Wisconsin.  We can’t let the Left win this way.

That’s why we are going all out to win in the 2 RECALL campaigns against Democrats that take place next Tuesday.  In fact, if we prevail in these two races the net gain for Democrats through this entire RECALL process will have been ZERO (0) seats.  They will have spent more than $30 MILLION for nothing!

So let’s go out and finish the win.  Let’s see those 2 Democrat Senators who abdicated their job duties and fled to Illinois lose their seats.  Let’s make the Left eat crow for ever starting these shameful RECALL campaigns to punish Republicans who actually DID do their jobs.  And let’s make sure the Democrats’ effort to “buy off” a Senator fails.

We are right now producing our first TV ad for next Tuesday’s RECALL elections.  We have only 1 week to raise the money to pay to produce these ads and buy the airtime to get these TV ads seen.  So please, make a contribution to our campaign effort.

You can contribute any amount from as little as $5 to the maximum allowed contribution of $5,000.   TV ads for the 2 RECALL districts are rather expensive.  One of the two RECALL campaigns takes place in the most expensive media market in the state of Wisconsin:  Milwaukee.

Thus, we’re going to need quite a few people who can contribute $100 or more to pitch in.  Our goal is to collect more than 500 contributions of $100 or more within the next 24 hours.  You can contribute online – HERE.

If you prefer you can also mail in a contribution to our headquarters:

Wisconsin Recall Fight

Defeat BHO in Wisconsin

John R. Houk

© July 17, 2011

The Tea Party Express working as the Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama (CTDBO) in 2012 has been highly involved in the Dem Party inspired recall elections in Wisconsin. Why are there any recall elections? It is because Governor Scott Walker and the Republicans were voting on cuts to the State budget which included taking on the Unions concerning State Employees. The Dems in the State knew they didn’t have the votes so they fled the State to prevent a quorum on issues of money. After many efforts to coax the Dems back to be involved in debate the GOP majority passed the law on portions that did not include spending money. The cowardly Dems were thus circumvented and outraged over the end run by the GOP.

When it became apparent that the GOP proved they had more political smarts than the Wisconsin Dems, the Dems came back crying like a red-headed step child. Wisconsin Unions in concert with Wisconsin Dems, National Party Dems AND Barack Obama began pumping money into recall votes.

The local GOP was forced to raise money to fight recalls even though they voted according to the reasons they campaigned for election in the first place in 2010.

This is where the Tea Party inspired Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama comes in. I haven’t followed if any other fund raising campaign have occurred in Wisconsin but I do know via emails that CTDBO has been highly successful in raising funds to fight the Dem inspired recalls.

Below is an update on how those donations are being spent.

Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama

This Sunday our team here at The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama are making our big push to win in Wisconsin.  So many of you have been supportive and we thank you.

We received an email from a supporter asking where contributions received for this effort are going.  Contributions are going to support our current TV ad campaign in Wisconsin so we can turn out supporters of Gov. Scott Walker who are opposed to the six (6) RECALL campaigns against Republican legislators.

Below you can find the links to all the TV and Internet Ads we’ve run in this effort, along with some of the press pickups we received while we were on the ground in Wisconsin.  We will be returning to Wisconsin in about a week.  For now, we need your support so we can step up our TV ad campaign in Wisconsin.

To support our efforts – CLICK HERE TO DONATE

We produced these campaign ads that we’ve aired on Television and the Internet (some just on TV stations in Wisconsin, some just on the Internet):

(The above link is to the TV ad we are currently running)

Right now our primary focus is on the TV ad campaign that is the top link we provided and working on turnout for the special RECALL elections that have been called – we’re working to turn out as many pro-Scott Walker supporters as possible so we can defeat the RECALL campaigns against the six (6) Republican State Senators who have been targeted.

Again, we’ve just returned from Wisconsin where we worked on the ground on this effort, and we expect to be returning to Wisconsin in about a week.

Along the way we received continuous coverage from the local news media for our efforts.  Here is a sampling of those media pickups:

To sum up, right now contributions go towards our new TV ad campaign.

Please make a contribution of  $25, $50 or $100 or, if you can afford it, a more generous contribution of $250, $500, $1,000 or more so we can fund these efforts against Barack Obama and and reach our goal.

We still need 189 more people who can contribute $100 or more in the next 24 hours.  To support our efforts – CLICK HERE TO DONATE

It’s so important to realize that Obama’s team is up to their dirty tricks in Wisconsin so as to lay the groundwork for Obama to try to win Wisconsin for his 2012 presidential campaign.  Thanks to your help, we’re going to hand Obama, and radical leftists yet another DEFEAT in Wisconsin in just a few weeks time.

We must keep up the momentum.  Please make a contribution of  $25, $50 or $100 or, if you can afford it, a more generous contribution of $250, $500, $1,000 or more  – CLICK HERE TO DONATE

Bust a Union – Support Fiscal Responsibility

Walker v Union Machine

John R. Houk

© March 15, 2011

Republican Governor Scott Walker has pushed through a budget cutting measure that was part of his campaign in Wisconsin to bring fiscal responsibility to that State. Unfortunately the Left inside and outside of Wisconsin has teamed up with Big Unions to wage a disinformation campaign against Governor Walker and the State GOP to sidetrack fiscal responsibility in favor of budget busting power that force Wisconsin to raise taxes to keep benefits for government employees.

Now that sounds rough if you only listen to the Left and Unions; however the reality is Wisconsin State employees receive benefits that are above the private sector in that State. AND in talking benefits I am talking about perks other than wages. You see Governor Walker and the GOP did nothing that would affect State employee Unions to hamper their ability to bargain for fair wages commensurate to the employee personal income. Walker did not touch Collective Bargaining having to do with wages. Rather Walker on the GOP has taken away the Collective Bargaining for perks that have to do with vacation, insurance and so on. In doing so Walker has reduced the perk benefits to a point that is still better than private industry but less than the budget draining perks that Wisconsin was in.

If you listen only to the Democrat Left, Unions and Leftist Mainstream Media you would think that Walker and State Republicans have stolen democracy and pierced the heart of what State employees deserve. THAT IS A DISINFORMATION LIE FROM LEFTISTS AND UNIONS!

Amy Kremer of the American Grassroots Coalition has sent out an email that informs Conservatives that we are in a fight for the soul of America. She is correct. America has to choose between the Leftist spread the wealth mentality or government fiscal responsibility that does not cost taxpayers an arm and a leg that supports political interests that hamper free markets, individual responsibility, free choice and responsible taxation. The Left and self-aggrandizing power thug Unions do not responsible taxation and free choice that involves one’s personal livelihood and the spreading of society free choice (as opposed to forcing members of society to spread their earning – called wealth by Leftists – to pay money to undeserving exploitive people living off taxpayer bucks).

Dear Friends,

Last week, Wisconsin Governor Walker signed into law the union reform bill that Senate Democrats have been hiding from over the past several weeks.  On Wednesday evening of last week, the Republicans removed the appropriation language from the bill and pass the union reform measures on their own.  Then on Thursday, the Assembly passed the legislation as well.  Friday morning, it was a done deal!  This is a huge win, not only for the residents of Wisconsin, but for the people across America!

We thank Governor Walker and these Republican Senators for standing strong and not succumbing to the pressures of threats and intimidation from these unions.  Over the last few weeks, Governor Walker and these conservatives have been under tremendous attack from the left.  They have had the strength and political willpower to remain strong and stand on principle.  When standing on principle, it is not always the easiest thing to do, but it is always the right thing to do.  This is exactly what “We the People” want to see more of out of our elected officials.

Don’t be fooled!  This battle is far from over, but is only beginning. The public unions still have a strong grip of power and control in Ohio, Indiana and other states.  Rest assured, they are not going to relinquish that grip without the fight of a lifetime.  You see, this grassroots movement is a threat to the public union gravy trains and the golden parachute pension plans that they think they are entitled to at the expense of the taxpayer.

As I have said before, this battle is for the soul of America.  The battle in Wisconsin will now go national and the money is already pouring into the state to recall the Republican  Senators and potentially even the Governor.  This is not a joke, but is very real.

This is the beginning of the 2012 campaign season and President Barack Obama’s campaign arm is very much behind this effort.  You can read here just what the President had to say about the Wisconsin battle is fully engaged in the recall effort in Wisconsin and is raising an enormous amount of money.  You can see it for yourself right here

You want to see just how much money the left is raising for this effort?  Look at this one source and look at the money they are raising

If you want a recap of the battle in Wisconsin, you can read the good, bad and the ugly in this article posted on Yahoo! News.

I know, it is a lot of bad news, but don’t worry, we are not going away! Later this week, I am meeting with some of our coalition partners to see how we can all work together and win this war for America.  I will keep you posted as things move forward and what our next steps are at American Grassroots Coalition.

We all must help the Senators and Governor in Wisconsin.  I think it is safe to say that as goes Wisconsin, there goes America, so the fight is on friends.

I promise you that American Grassroots Coalition is in this for the long haul.  We will be there to support these guys that are on the front lines being attacked and abused by the public unions,, and the Democratic Parties (State and National) as tough decisions are looming.  We will not back down and we know that you won’t back down either.  Thank you for your support and standing with us.

This fight is for the soul of America!  Thank you for fighting for her with us.  Please help us by making the most generous contribution you can afford to the American Grassroots Coalition.  No amount is too small and no amount is too large, but we cannot do this without your help.

We need your support now more than ever. Help us fight back against the Obama campaign team,, the Democratic Party, organized public unions and make the most generous contribution you can afford to American Grassroots Coalition.

No amount is too small.  Please consider contributing $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 or more to continue this fight against the big labor machine that wants to reelect Barack Obama. Yes, as I said, this is the beginning of the Presidential campaign of 2012.

Thank you in advance for your contribution.  I know we can always count on our supporters.

Please share this email with others in your circle of friends, family, coworkers, etc.

God Bless America today and always! Keep up the fight! We are winning!

In Liberty,

When the various Tea Party organizations rallied Americans to show grassroots support for less government and less taxes during the 2010 election cycle, the rallies were peaceful even in the midst of the Leftist Democratic Party and the NAACP trying to propagandize Americans that these rallies were congregations of Right Wing racists. If there was any violence in these rallies it was usually at the behest of Leftist sympathizes attempting to disrupt with a bit of disruptive violence.

One example was an African-American Congressman who walked through a crowd of Tea Partiers who were vocally denouncing the Dem Party agenda of which that Congressman was a part of. In a position never to waste a good opportunity that Congressman responded vocally by claiming he was the recipient of racial slurs thus proving the racist nature of Tea Partiers. The problem for Congressman John Lewis is that he was either lying or was so intimidated by the truth of the protest that his imagination ran amok. Subsequent examination of video that showed more than the discomfort of Rep. Lewis demonstrates not one word could be heard saying “nigger” or “faggot” as the Leftist MSM tried to portray as occurring.

Another example of Leftist propaganda occurred at a Rand Paul campaign rally in which many in the crowd were Tea Partiers. The incident involved Lauren Valle of aggressively penetrating guards and stuck a sign inside the window of a car that then candidate Paul had just entered. Now do you think guards and supporters are going to react to a person aggressively shoving something into a car inhabited by a candidate that was supposed to have security protection? The obvious perception would be to neutralize the person forcefully in case there was an assassination attempt, right? Well that is exactly what happened. Valle was tackled to the ground in no uncertain terms. An overzealous Paul supporter went on overkill and stomped on Valle’s head. Everything that happened in this incident was due to the aggressive nature of Lauren Valle. The guy that put the boot to her head was a volunteer supporter whose first reaction was to neutralize a possible attacker. It is a good idea to neutralize first and ask questions later when the threat could have easily have been an assassination attempt as much as it could have been a Left loon confrontation by a woman in disguise. The head stomping would have been the act of a hero if Valle was an assassin. Valle was a Leftist loon and so Profitt’s choice of neutralization was wrong, but tossing a possible threat to the ground was not wrong.

The point of these two examples is that there is a vast difference in the behavior of Leftist protests and Tea Party protests. The Left incites violence and the Tea Party incites change. That change was realized at the 2010 polls in which a bunch of Left Wing Dems lost their jobs. The Dems lost their jobs not via a violent overthrow. Those Dems lost their jobs by voters giving the boot to those taking America in the wrong direction.

Not long ago Democrat Michael Capuano uttered this stunning phrase in a pro-Union speech:

Every once in a while you have to get out in the streets and get a little bloody when necessary.”

Apparently such a green light to pro-union protesters was taken to heart. Union protesters have been violently threatening and accosting detractors and journalists that might not agree with the union protest against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s attempt to rein in the State budget.

he proposed a budget-repair bill that would break the grip of labor interests in a capital that has long been dominated by them. Facing a $3.6 billion budget shortfall over the next two years, he argues that public workers should contribute 5.8 percent of their salaries toward their pensions and pay 12.6 percent of their health-care premiums. Most controversial is his plan to eliminate collective bargaining for nearly all state employees.” (Gov. Scott Walker: No Stranger to Budget Battles; Robert Costa; National Review;

The budget repair bill will balance the budget and lay the foundation for a long-term sustainable budget through several measures without raising taxes, raiding segregated funds, or using accounting gimmicks.

First, it will require state employees to pay about 5.8% toward their pension (about the private sector national average) and about 12% of their healthcare benefits (about half the private sector national average).  These changes will help the state save $30 million in the last three months of the current fiscal year.

“It’s fair to ask public employees to make a pension payment of just over 5%, which is about the national average, and a premium payment of 12%, which is about half of the national average,” said Governor Walker.

The budget repair will also restructure the state debt, lowering the state’s interest rate, saving the state $165 million.

These changes will help the state fulfill its Medicaid spending on needy families of about $170 million; funding that the previous administration did not have in its budget.  It will also allow the state to spend an additional $21 million in the Department of Corrections.

Additionally, the budget repair bill gives state and local governments the tools to manage spending reductions through changing some provisions of the state’s collective bargaining laws.

The state’s civil service system, among the strongest in the country, would remain in place.  State and local employees could continue to bargain for base pay, they would not be able to bargain over other compensation measures.  Local police, fire and state patrol would be exempted from the changes.  Other reforms will include state and local governments not collecting union dues, annual certification will be required in a secret ballot, and any employee can opt out of paying union dues. (Emphasis is mine)

Check out the part I emphasized. There is no termination of collective bargaining for wages. Governor Walker wants to end collective bargaining on non-wage benefits. Also the idea of an annual union certification will hold some accountability of union bosses to union members. If union members are dissatisfied with the service of their union mandated annual certification is leverage for union members to have their desires better represented by union bosses. Friends this is balance. Frankly it is unfortunate the mandated union reform is not also extended into private industry. Governor’s plan only affects State employees.

And yet, union bosses have mobilized members and the typical propaganda scum of the MSM to convince pro-union people they are receiving a raw deal rather than a fair deal. Many of these union protestors are becoming violent. The idea of peaceful protest is eschewed. Frankly I sense a successful budget repair by the Governor could result in the numbskull action of union bosses promoting rioting. Of course rioting will lead to violence and violence leads to physical harm as well as property damage.

Get a clue Leftists and Unionists!
