Jim Caviezel is the actor who portrayed Jesus in Mel Gibson’s movie, The Passion of the Christ. Caviezel is a Roman Catholic that gave a talk to university students at a panel discussion at the University of Steubenville, Ohio discussing an upcoming film about the Apostle Paul.

Within the panel discussion Caviezel provided some rousing thoughts on Religious Liberty that included a warning that Christians are at war with the “most dangerous enemy”. Caviezel may be Catholic, but the thought should be heeded by all Christians.

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio, March 5, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Catholic actor Jim Caviezel, who famously played Jesus in The Passion of the Christ, told university students on Sunday that they must set themselves apart from this “corrupt generation” and “be saints.”

“You weren’t made to ‘fit in,’ my brothers and sisters. You were born to stand out. Set yourself apart from this corrupt generation. Be saints,” he said.

Caviezel made the comments during a March 4 panel discussion at the University of Steubenville, Ohio, where he discusses the soon-to-be-released film, Paul, Apostle of Christ, in which he stars. He was joined by EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo, host of The World Over, Dr. Scott Hahn, Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the university, and Eric Groth, executive producer of Paul, Apostle of Christ.

While the panel’s dialogue on the film was fascinating, it was Caviezel’s concluding speech that made the crowd in an overflowing room rise to its feet in thunderous applause.

Caviezel told the students that they are at “war” with the “most dangerous enemy” who wants to strip them of their freedom, of having the right “to do what you ought.”

“Every generation of Americans needs to know that freedom exists, not to do what you like, but having the right to do what you ought,” he said.

Here is his concluding comment in full:

This message is for you. A great man once said that, ‘evil is powerless if the good are unafraid.’ But you and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We’ll preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth – or, we’ll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.

We’re at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind in his climb from the swamp to the stars. And it’s been said if we lose this war, and in so doing, lose this great way of freedom of ours, history will report with the greatest astonishment, that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent it from happening.

Well, I think it’s high time now that we ask ourselves if we still even know the freedoms that were intended for us by our founding fathers? Every generation of Americans needs to know that freedom exists, not to do what you like, but having the right to do what you ought.

You weren’t made to “fit in,” my brothers and sisters. You were born to stand out. Set yourself apart from this corrupt generation. Be saints. God bless you.

The actor’s words were met with thunderous applause and a standing ovation.

Elsewhere during the panel discussion, the actor made bold statements of faith, for instance, asserting, “I believe the devil is more afraid of me than I am of him.”

When asked by a webcast viewer who had experienced conversion after watching The Passion of the Christ if Caviezel thinks his movie on Saint Paul will be similarly powerful, the actor explained this movie is different, but the message will be just as powerful.

“Forgiveness is everything. It’s forgiveness at all costs. And it does not mean weakness, it does not mean passivity. It means meeting evil face to face with love. And that’s the power behind this movie.”

“Love and Forgiveness” is the theme running through the movie, he said.

In one of the film clips shown to the audience, Caviezel as St. Luke, says to a young Christian who proposes murdering Romans to avenge the deaths of members of Rome’s nascent Christian community, “None of us here have walked with Christ, but Paul has followed him longer than us all. I have watched him being beaten. I have watched him be stoned and flogged, and never once did he raise his finger against his oppressors. Let peace be with you. For we live in the world but we do not wage war as the world does. Peace begins with you, Cassius. Love is the only way.”

“Courage . . . is ardent love, noted the actor. “Love creates change by igniting a passion in each one of us, one person at a time. Paul is the spark that ignites a real revolution. And that revolution is love.”

The film’s executive producer, Eric Groth, explained why this movie focuses only on the end of Paul’s life.

“To tell Paul’s entire life story would require a miniseries. You look at the amazing conversion experience he went through. From being Saul, the greatest persecutor of the early Church … to the greatest promulgator of the faith, and to look at that from the end of his life where he’s gone through that conversion, and all those experiences where he’s gained wisdom and yet we can still see a man who is very human, who knows he’s saved by the grace of God, and yet he still has those struggles with his humanity. And I think that’s an important thing to be able to reflect on, to be able to say, ‘Hey, he’s a lot like I am.’”

Dr. Scott Hahn described the historical/Biblical context of this moment in Paul’s story.

“The Roman Empire, under Nero, fell into the deepest corruption. The darkness was most likely demonic,” said the theologian. “And so here is the Christian community—the Body of Christ—experiencing what Jesus’ body had just undergone a couple of decades before, back in the early 30’s. And so you recognize this is the moment when it looks as though this empire, this culture of death, will snuff out the life of Christ’s Body.”

“What I think this movie shows us,” continued Hahn, “reminds me of the old proverb: “They buried us, but they didn’t know we were seeds.”

“We have got to buckle up and really pray and enter into the wisdom of Paul’s writings because we might not end up in prison, but our children or our grandchildren will, and they have a lot to learn from the lessons of this man,” said Dr. Hahn.

“You know, it’s said that Paul was such a zealous apostle because Saul was such a zealous persecutor,’ continued Hahn. “God redirected all of that energy, and even though he’s aging in this movie, it is really refined and deepened. And that’s the kind of wisdom we need now.”

“Theological speculation has a place, but that really practical wisdom in the face of death and suffering, this is where we learn life’s deepest lessons,” he added.

Paul, Apostle of Christ will be released in theaters on Wednesday, March 28, one day prior to Holy Thursday when Catholic celebrate the institution of the Eucharist.

Caviezel is a devout Catholic who has called abortion “the greatest moral defect of the western world.” He is also working on a sequel to “The Passion of the Christ” with director Mel Gibson that focuses on the Resurrection.

“This is the real deal. It’s going to blow your mind. It’s absolutely going to make you so proud. You heard it here: It’s going to be the biggest film in history,” said Caviezel.

Christians in America today are under assault and facing persecution from an unholy alliance of marxofascist Progressives, Islamofascists and secular humanists, and although this started in the 1960s counterculture through leftist radicals in the media, government, academia and churches, Obama and his regime have launched an unprecedented assault on Christianity and religious liberty over the past six years. They are abusing their power, overreaching and attempting to transform “freedom of religion” into “freedom from religion” for those who hate the Christian faith, essentially using the courts and government agencies to eradicate Christian expression.

Since Barack Obama’s rise to power, America has witnessed his administration issue a Homeland Security memorandum in 2009 that called evangelical Christians and pro-life groups “future threats to national security.” This same administration pressed for this threat assessment to be released at West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center and included in war games at Ft Leavenworth; and, they are also forcing Christian pastors serving in the U.S. military to stop referencing Jesus during official ceremonies, just as occurred during the 2012 Memorial Day ceremony honoring U.S. Veterans at Houston’s National Cemetery.

Also, doesn’t it alarm anyone that the mayor of a major U.S. city would have the arrogance and temerity to subpoena all the city’s pastors for any sermons dealing with homosexuality and gender identity, trampling on their religious freedom?

Houston’s openly lesbian mayor, Annise Parker, attempted this very thing in 2014, in an effort to make political and social commentary inside the church a crime. Her actions violated these pastors’ rights of freedom of religion and the free exercise of their faith, even though she was eventually forced to abandon her assault.

America is also witnessing its school officials act in fanatical fashion in order to remove every trace of Christian expression from our school system. School valedictorians are commanded not to reference Jesus in their speeches, and in 2013, a Florida Atlantic student was banned from class for refusing to stomp on the name of Jesus during a class exercise, while a Sonoma State University student was ordered to remove a cross she was wearing because someone “could be offended.” And even a little six-year old girl was not spared from their withering malevolence at a North Carolina elementary school, as she was ordered to remove the word “God” from a poem that she had written to honor her grandfathers, who both had served in the Vietnam War.

In 2009, Obama nominated a radical Leftist activist judge, David Hamilton, to the 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Hamilton has been repeatedly hostile against Christianity in the public arena. In Hinrichs v Bosma, he prohibited Christian prayers in the Indiana House of Representatives, and yet, he allowed prayers mentioning Allah.

More than this, America’s Christians are made to suffer a lying, malevolent fool of a president, who earlier this year equivocated Islam’s moral standing with that of Christianity, even though Islam has never been reformed and Christianity has; then over Easter holiday, Obama insulted Christians and misrepresented their views on the Religious Freedom Act.

During the first week of April 2015, Representative Louie Gohmert told the Faith and Liberty Radio Show that “Christians are the only people that it is politically correct to persecute” in America, and he warned that the U.S. is “not going to continue to see the blessings that America has experienced in the past” because of widespread anti-Christian persecution. Gohmert added that it is “extremely unfortunate that Christians all over the country now are being persecuted for believing what Moses said” about marriage.

Christianity is not allowed to cross the public school threshold, but under Obama, the public education system has been restructured to teach Islam through Common Core, while the Dept. of Justice has been instructed to censor any negative media and social discussion about Islam (e.g. Manchester, TN); and Muslim Brotherhood Members have been placed in the highest echelons of government, including Homeland Security, which is supposed to protect Americans from the very terrorists the Muslim Brotherhood trains and funds – all by design and all by the decree of Obama, an Islamofascist appeaser and enabler, who says he will “stand with Muslims if the political wind shifts in an ugly direction.”

The only ugly, shifting political winds are blowing from Obama’s Oval Office. It doesn’t get much uglier than American Christians being attacked as “Islamophobes” and “homophobes,” and worse, if they speak against the Islamists and the outrageously flamboyant celebration of homosexuality. Both the Islamists and the homosexuals, a combined 8% of the population who normally hate each other, hold an inordinate amount of power in U.S. politics and the government, receiving preferential treatment and privilege, and they have joined forces in order to eliminate the Christian heritage and Judeo-Christian principles in America.

Only Obama’s sycophant supporters could have expected different results from a man whose father and step-father were Muslims. Not one person should have expected anything different from a man who attended Islamic schools during his formative years.

Early in March 2015, Reverend Franklin Graham warned on Fox News, that the White House and the Democrats “hate Israel and they hate Christians, and so the storm is coming … we’re going to see persecution in this country … Nobody seems to be alarmed … Nobody is saying anything about this, and we as Christians are going to lose.”

Christian Americans aren’t victims of faith-based murders on any large scale, not yet anyway, unless one counts those murdered by Islamofascist terrorists’ attacks. As a new America flirts with fascism, do you think it’s an implausible possibility? So did the Jews who survived the Holocaust.

America’s Christians, most ordinary secular Americans and many religious minorities recognize the country faces a dire situation in the very near future. We understand that constrained faith, eventually leads to the constraint of all individual liberties, and in order to continue to succeed and thrive as a nation, good men and women must stop the Progressive self-destructive course and name and fight the evil that seeks to destroy good. And as citizens of a great nation founded on the principles of Christianity, we must be potent, resolved and resolute, as we stand in the face of any threat for our beliefs, free to make choices, to be generous, to live and ultimately to defend freedoms for America’s Children.

2014 was another wild and frustrating year for American Christians as the threats to our liberties and values are increasing. Here are the results of our online poll of the Top Ten Anti-Christian Acts of 2014. It’s not as predicable as you might think.

Rather than getting lost in the trees and not recognizing the forest, lets (sic) look at the larger trends revealed in the poll, and they are disconcerting.

Political correctness about social issues, (sexual deviancy and abortion) has been institutionalized publicly and privately. Biblically faithful Christians and their institutions are being pressured to compromise their values and accept arbitrary, tyrannical, secular ethics or feel the wrath of politicians, the courts, the academy, the media, and business.

Churches are being coerced to subsidize abortions, a pastor is on trial for telling the truth, ministers are bullied by a tyrannical mayor, and Christ is continuing to be blasphemed on network TV.

This is a sobering set of facts, but ones that ought to stir us to action, not resignation. As we pray and act, we do so in faith that God can turn us back to him. The means He uses our bold, counter-cultural voices of Truth. Christ calls us back to reality and to respect for His ordained institution of marriage and the sanctity of life created in His image and freedom to declare the whole counsel of God’s Word.

Share this list with your family and friends. We MUST engage in concerted prayer, evangelism and seek FIRST God’s Kingdom and His righteousness. America is ripe for either God’s justice or a heaven sent revival.

1. Christian colleges are now facing a new threat to their institutions… allow homosexual behavior or be stripped of accreditation. The New England Association of Schools and Colleges is threatening to strip Gordon College, of their accreditation unless the college accepts “homosexual practice” by it’s students. More here.

2. Federal Judge, Michael Posner, ignored Supreme Court precedence and allowed a frivolous lawsuit to move forward against American minster, Scott Lively. Lively is a minister and an attorney and was invited by the Ugandan legislature to help them create laws to protect their society from the homosexual movement. Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG), hauled Rev. Lively to US Federal Court under international law accusing him of “crimes against humanity.” More here.

3. Annise Parker, the lesbian Houston mayor, ordered city’s churches to turn over sermons, any e-mails, text messages, and other communications that talk about homosexuality, gender identity issues, or Annise Parker herself. The pastors were targeted after organizing descent against a bill passed by the city council that allowed transgender individuals to use the bathroom of their choice. After news spread throughout the Country, Parker’s attorney’s dropped the subpoenas. More here.

4. HGTV canceled a new program, “Flip It Forward”, because of the stars support of traditional marriage. The series followed the life of two brothers, David and Jason Benham, as they helped struggling families buy fixer-upper homes and transform them into forever homes. Both brothers have been vocal about their support for traditional marriage. More here.

5. The Girl Scouts USA introduced family planning into their curriculum in partnership with Planned Parenthood. The Girls Scouts also tout the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, as an “eloquent woman”. More here. 6. California churches are now required to cover the costs of abortions as “basic health care.” The state legislature is trying to exploit a “loop-hole” in the national healthcare law for the pro-abortion agenda. More here.

7. Mozilla CEO, Brendan Eich, was forced to resign from the huge tech company he founded after it was discovered he donated $1,000 towards legislation to uphold traditional marriage in California. Proposition 8 was a ballet initiative in support of traditional marriage that was approved by a majority of California voters, but was later ruled unconstitutional by the California Supreme Court. 8. American tax dollars are still being used to pay for abortions. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) in Washington, found that at least 1,036 plans use your tax dollars to fund abortion-on-demand. More here.

9. A California male high school teacher returned as a woman from spring break. 56 year-old married father, Gary Sconce, has been a teacher at the rural Yosemite High School for 24 years. But after a letter was sent to the parents, he returned from the break as “Karen Adell Scot.” More here.

10. “I only wish the Virgin would’ve had an abortion,” was belted out in a song by musical guest, Kristeen Young, on CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. “The song,” according to Young, “is about the centuries of religious persecution of women.” More here.

The ‘Gay Agenda’ v. Liberty

“Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.” –George Washington (Farewell Address, 1796)

For five decades, a relentless and insidious campaign to undermine faith and family, the foundational tenets of our Republic, has been on the rise. With the 2008 election of Barack Hussein Obama, the most faith-intolerant regime in the history of our Republic, the growth of that campaign has become a malignant battle for the hearts and minds of American voters.

Most of the participants in this battle are unwitting pawns of the political Left, believing that they are simply supporting individual rights. In reality, they are systematically eroding the ground beneath the two most critical pillars of Liberty: faith and family. In the end, the inevitable and irrevocable terminus of these actions is tyranny.

Though social research organizations consistently find that those with gender identity issues make up less than 3% of the population, that tiny minority has become the most vociferous enemy of faith and family – and has rallied a substantial political constituency. For that reason, few social and political commentators will even venture into this arena, fearing public vilification and removal of their public platform by Leftmedia print and TV outlets under pressure from weak-kneed advertisers.

No such fear here, but as a prerequisite for this analysis, let it be stated clearly that the central government has no constitutional authority to regulate sexual activity between consenting adults. However, our Republic most assuredly has a stake in protecting religious Liberty, and marriage as defined by the Laws of Nature.

The first target of the Left and their homosexual agenda constituency is the first clause of the First Amendment to our Constitution, which states simply, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”

That succinct proscription notwithstanding, Leftist judicial supremacists, who occupy what Thomas Jefferson called “the Despotic Branch,” have adulterated the plain language of that clause to greatly suppress the free exercise of Liberty across the nation. They have succeeded in large measure to supplant Rule of Law with the rule of men – the rule of egocentric executives and legislators who believe they are the font of wisdom sufficient for ruling over their subjects.

The second pillar of Liberty targeted by the Left is the family – beginning with marriage. In the words of Justice Joseph Story, “Marriage is … in its origin, a contract of natural law. … It is the parent, and not the child of society; the source of civility and a sort of seminary of the republic.”

As you recall, in 2008 candidate Obama himself feigned disdain for same-sex marriage and asserted a pretense of faith: “I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian … it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix. … I am not somebody who promotes same-sex marriage.” Of course, that was just another bald-faced election-year lie. A full 12 years earlier, while running for Illinois State Senate, Obama said this: “I favor legalizing same-sex marriages, and would fight efforts to prohibit such marriages.”

Obama’s expressed sentiment therefore lasted only as long as the campaign. No sooner had he been elected than he began a concerted effort to undermine marriage by promoting “gay rights.” Most notably in 2010, just weeks before the “Tea Party Republicans” who had decimated the Democrats in the 2010 midterm elections took control of the House, Obama signed last-minute legislation overturning the Clinton-era policy of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell,” thus subjecting military ranks to overt homosexuality.

What Leftist politicos understand, but most of their constituents do not, is that the deconstruction of religious Liberty and the family, starting with the redefinition of marriage, will ultimately result in the rise of an oppressive and dictatorial successor.

Occasionally, the Left attempts to merge both its assault on religious Liberty and upon the family into one battle, endeavoring to kill two birds with one stone – the first being the “Natural Law” contract of marriage, and the second being the objection to homosexuality by every religion on the planet.

Such was the case in May 2012, when homosexual advocates managed a successful coup d’état against one of the most faith- and family-centered organizations in the nation – the Boy Scouts of America – opening the door for homosexual members in order to open the next door for homosexual leaders.

Emboldened by that success, they began a national campaign to target Christian-owned pro-family businesses – small and large – endeavoring to break their support for marriage by way of legal injunctions against their expression of their faith. Finally, the coercive “gay lobby” campaign met its match.

A very high-profile failure was the homosexual assault on Chick-fil-A due to CEO Dan Cathy, and his very vocal Christian affirmation of faith and family. Cathy’s rejection of so-called “gay marriage” was the catalyst for an attempted national boycott against the restaurant chain, but the result was an outpouring of support for Chick-fil-A.

But homosexual advocates suffered a far more spectacular defeat just last month, as you undoubtedly heard, when the Arts and Entertainment network attempted to expel the patriarch of one of the most successful cable television programs in history, solely due to his expression of faith and support for marriage and family in a GQ magazine profile.

The details of the A&E defeat provide a useful case study in “David and Goliath” politics – grassroots activism versus huge media and political adversaries.

Phil Robertson, who heads the popular Duck Dynasty clan featured on A&E, was asked by GQ editors about sin and repentance, and he responded with a paraphrase from 1 Corinthians 6: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers – they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.” Robertson added a few comments considered crude by “cultured” leftists, but reflective of the provincial language of his Louisiana culture.

As soon as the article was published online, Robertson was attacked by the two most influential national homosexual advocacy organizations – the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and the so-called “Human Rights” Campaign – for making “anti-gay remarks” in the GQ magazine profile. Typical of how Robertson’s remarks were framed are these pathetic pontifications from GLAAD spokesman Wilson Cruz: “Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil’s lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe. Phil’s decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to re-examine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families.”

A&E, which previously asked the Robertson family to reduce its show’s references to guns and closing with prayer – requests the Robertsons refused – swiftly expelled Phil, noting, “His personal views in no way reflect those of A&E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community.”

Within days of A&E’s decision, Sandra Cochran, CEO of Cracker Barrel, one of the largest family restaurant chains in the nation, announced with much fanfare that she was ordering merchandise connected to Phil Robertson removed from their shelves. Cochran noted, “We operate within the ideals of fairness, mutual respect and equal treatment of all people. These ideals are the core of our corporate culture.”

As I wrote Cochran, “Nothing Phil Robertson said offends your ‘corporate culture,’ unless you are offended by the foundational sacrament of marriage between man and woman as defined in the Old and New Testaments of Christian Scripture – and every other major world religion.”

The nation’s largest retailer, Walmart, wisely kept its shelves loaded with Duck Dynasty products.

The execs of A&E, Cracker Barrel and the highest profile homosexual advocacy organizations assumed the rest of the Robertson clan was more invested in their lucrative contracts with A&E than their faith, and their viewers were more invested in the asinine antics of reality shows than the substance and world view of the characters in this particular show.

Bad assumptions. Neither the Robertsons, nor their fans, duck the truth.

In less than 48 hours, Cracker Barrel issued one of the most stunning corporate apologies on record. “When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that’s just what we’ve done. You flat out told us we were wrong. We listened. Today, we are putting all our Duck Dynasty products back in our stores, and, we apologize for offending you.”

Days later, after Phil Robertson’s family advised the network that they would not go on without their patriarch, A&E folded its hand. Apparently the network execs were more invested in their viewer share revenue than being “strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community.” As some sort of recompense for their gender-confused audience, they announced, “We will use this moment to launch a national public service campaign (PSA) promoting unity, tolerance and acceptance among all people, a message that supports our core values as a company, and the values found in Duck Dynasty.”

This week, the Robertson family announced their new endorsement line of firearms, undoubtedly a source of additional heartburn for A&E.

This resounding defeat of the homosexual lobby is a case study in how grassroots Americans can successfully confront and crush the Left elite. By extension, it is also a strong indication that Patriots across the nation are poised to deliver the same humiliating defeat to leftists in 2014 that they did in 2010.

The bottom line is that a growing number of grassroots Americans recognize that the Chick-fil-A and Duck Dynasty showdowns are not about homosexuals, chickens or ducks, but about the suppression of faith expression and the undermining of Liberty. Phil Robertson is not a bigot, but those who suppress religious Liberty in the name of “tolerance and diversity” certainly are.

Those who support the “gay agenda” certainly think they do so for the right reasons. But they’ve been lulled into thinking that this issue has no overarching implications for the Liberty of future generations. They are wrong.

Where Are The Saints?

Justin Smith writes of American Christians and Congressmen that play the three monkeys – hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil (whatever the order is). Christians in Muslim dominated nations are experiencing ethnic cleansing (or as Justin writes – religious cleansing). You may hear a peep here and there, BUT we should hear a roar of outrage over this indignity!

There is a war going on! The motivators behind Islam – i.e. those we call Radical Muslims – are determined to exact global Islamic domination. Our politicians and journalists are so fearful of being called prejudiced racists they are afraid to note the global extermination of Christians by Muslims. This politically correct fear is so extant that Radical Islam is growing in America so much that we are blinded by the Islamic self-claim that the majority of Muslims are Moderate. AND YET the majority of Mosques and American-Islamic organizations are closely related to funding from Radical Islamic interests in Saudi Arabia or aligned with the Radical Islam of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Where Are The Saints?

America in general and Christianity specifically have been under attack by Islam for the past forty years, and a renewed clash of Western civilization and Islam essentially has become a very real war, in which Jews and Christians are killed to amplify Islam’s assumed religious superiority; and yet, many prominent Christian theologians have become accomplices of jihad, by wasting precious time and resources on futile dialogues, rather than condemning and rejecting the concepts of jihad/Holy War, martyrdom and a life that begins only after death, in the face of the self-appointed leaders of Islam.

With the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989, Islam began to march towards a new ascendancy in many parts of the world, and, in no small part, Islam’s goals have since been aided by Barack Obama’s policies, which support Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda terrorists in several Islamic nations, over dictators who kept the islamofascists checked and were U.S. allies; Obama’s domestic policies also attack U.S. Christians, as seen in a military briefing on October 17, 2013 at Ft Hood, TX, when soldiers were told that Christian and Tea Party groups could be representative of right wing terrorist groups, and, the soldiers were warned to be careful of donating money to such groups, in order to avoid prosecution under the Uniform Military Code of Justice.

The persecution of Christians has increased significantly throughout the world over the past decade, especially in the 57 member nations of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation. A staggering 100,000 Christians are murdered annually within these nations, because of their faith, according to Vatican spokesman Monsieur Silvano Maria Tomassi; and, Persecution.org president Jeff King recently told FoxNews that “two-hundred million Christians currently live under persecution.”

Since 1998, thousands of Christians have been killed in Egypt, Pakistan and Nigeria, with 10,000 of those murders occurring in Indonesia alone. Egypt’s Coptic Christians have battled the worst attacks on their minority numbers since the 14th century, as seen through the Midnight Mass murders and the rioting of January 2010, after Hosni Mubarak’s removal. And, last month, Taliban suicide-bombers killed 85 worshippers at All Saints’ Church, which was founded in 1883 in Peshawar, Pakistan; Christians were also targeted by islamofascists during an attack on a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya, in which al-Shabaab terrorists released people who could answer questions about Islam and proceeded to kill 70 other people.

Most of Iraq’s Christians have fled the country or been murdered, since Saddam Hussein’s overthrow. In August 2004, five churches were bombed in Baghdad and Mosul. Seven more churches were bombed on one single day in July 2009, and the bombings have continued right through last week; with Assad’s regime in Syria under attack by Al Qaeda and other Islamofascist groups, much the same scenario is currently playing itself out in Syria and an increase in religious cleansing will eventually turn Syria into another base and safe-haven for the world’s islamofascists.

Christians… tortured, raped and murdered by being burned alive in fire-pits and beheaded in the most horrible fashion, as Muslims dance around their victims almost as though this is entertainment or a great noble deed. And these barbarians call themselves “civilized” and Islam “a religion of peace.”

The islamofascists have a saying, “First the Saturday People, then the Sunday People,” which means “first we kill the Jews, then we kill the Christians.” When one looks at Islam in this context, through the words of its leaders, it is baffling to see such a lack of concern, anxiety, action or advocacy on the part of Christians in the United States.

America will be hard-pressed to win this war, as long as career politicians are willing to accept $2 million dollar bribes, like the $2 million then Sen. Joe Biden accepted from Iran in 2004, and as long as universities take $26 million dollar “donations” from Islamic princes, just as Harvard did in 2006; our education system and government has become ever more politicized, and they tolerate and even encourage the rise of anti-American, anti-Christian movements based on feelings of group grievance and victimhood, as some “teachers”/propagandists direct impressionable students to observe the “numerous misdeeds perpetrated by the U.S. against third world nations,” and especially the Islamic world: This emboldens Muslims who see any U.S. compromise and conciliation as weakness and a sign of their own impending victory.

On September 12, 2006, at the University of Regensburg, Germany, Pope Benedict gave a wide-ranging lecture, titled “Faith, Reason, and the University-Memories and Reflections.” Pope Benedict proclaimed that God cannot ask one to do something unreasonable, because He created reason. Benedict further explained that Islam, on the other hand, is predicated on the idea that God may overturn law and human reason. “Allah may demand immoral or unreasonable behavior, for he is all-powerful and demands absolute submission.”

In this clash of civilizations, America needs to criticize any group, person or culture deserving of such criticism by their words and actions, especially if these actions include crimes against humanity. Americans and the Western world must drop the ethos of relativist respect for non-Western religions and cultures, especially when they do not deserve our respect and the term “respect” becomes a euphemism for “appeasement.”

One must wonder over the silence of so many Western Christians, Protestant and Catholic alike, and our pastors and ministers and government officials. As noted by Representative Frank Wolf (R-VA) in January 2013, far too many are seemingly not “pained by these accounts of persecution”, and they are not using their sphere of influence to raise the profile of this issue through sermons, articles and interviews. But, while Wolf castigated 300 Christian leaders for their “lack of engagement”, two fine Christian leaders in Murfreesboro, TN, Reverend Darrell Whaley (Kingdom Ministries Worship Center) and Pastor Alan Jackson (World OutReach Church), had already been at the forefront of this battle for quite some time.

Dr. Justin Akujieze’s words ring even more urgent now, than the day I met him (November 11, 2011), and he told a horrific, heart-wrenching story of the islamofascists essentially conquering the northern half of Nigeria. This same day, he also made an impassioned plea for his country and called for action: “Today is the last day and we must not wither. We must confront this (Islam) head-on and together we will win.”

Many of us in America recognize the cautionary tale revealed in the words of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a Lutheran pastor, who was executed for speaking out against the Nazis: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” And Islam today represents every bit as much evil as yesteryear’s National Socialism.

Obama’s Disgust for Christianity Observed in NDAA

Militant atheists and Americans that believe themselves to be Christians yet demand that Christianity be removed from the Public Realm are degrading American Culture. The Founding Fathers – even those devoted to Deism – acknowledged Christianity or at the very least Christian principles, to be the center of beneficial laws under a government.

I received an email from Mathew Staver of the Liberty Counsel pertaining to a militant atheist that is a Christian-Hater in particular. Stave informs that atheist Mikey Weinstein is a huge influence on President Barack Hussein Obama. What a surprise, right?

There is some bipartisan agreement to add an amendment to the next National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which will allow members of the Military the Religious Freedom of expression that all civilian Americans enjoy under the First Amendment (OR DO WE?).

Guess who is strongly opposing this Religious Freedom Amendment as part of the NDAA? If you read my posts you have probably made the correct guess that President Barack Hussein Obama is resisting the Religious Freedom Amendment to the NDAA. According Mat Staver it is Mikey Weinstein that is exerting advice on how to resist Religious Liberty in the United States Military. However, there is a history of Obama Administration extricating Religious Freedom out of our Military. Ted Starnes has an article in Townhall.com entitled, “Groups Say Religious Liberty in Military is in Danger”.

Starnes writes about the Religious Freedom Amendment, Obama’s opposition to it, lists a short list of Anti-Christian rules imposed on Servicemen and the twelve Groups (including Liberty Counsel) that are engaging with Congress to make sure Religious Freedom is available in the Military.

The amendment was authored by Rep. John Fleming, R-La. It would have “required the Armed Forces to accommodate ‘actions and speech’ reflecting the conscience, moral, principles or religious beliefs of the member.”

The Obama Administration said the amendment would have a “significant adverse effect on good order, discipline, morale, and mission accomplishment.”

If Leftists, Democrats and Separation Church-State secularists don’t see this as a war on Christianity they either lying or are ignorant. Now that I think of it probably both lying and ignorant.

This is crazy and unconstitutional. Activist Living Constitution Judges and Justices have brought America to this point in which Christianity is slowly being stripped out of the fabric of America. Christian Morality is what has made America great and exceptional. Without Christianity ceases to be exceptional.

Atheists and Democrats believe they have hit the nail on the head when they propagandize that the majority of the Founding Fathers were not Christians because they were Deists – minions of the Enlightenment that did not regard the supernatural of any religion let alone Christianity.

The haters of Christianity fail to inform that Deists in America differed from Deists in Europe and France in particular. French Deists were as close to being atheists without denying the existence of religion completely. American Deists contrarily and in the majority had a high regard for the principle inherent in Christianity that contributed societal morality and civil order.

I should include George Washington and the other signers of the Constitution sent to be ratified by the States that eventually created the United States of America; however Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Hamilton and Jay were influential in the establishment and early interpretation of the Constitution. Jefferson was actually away representing the Articles of Confederation government as Ambassador to France and had no actual hand in what was in the Constitution other than his friendship with James Madison. The point though is this: The Constitutional Framers regardless of their affinity to Christianity either as a traditional Believer or as a Deist asserted that Christianity was essential to the formation of the USA and Christianity would be basis of virtuous and moral foundation for Society and government.

According to his own organization, the so-called Military Religious Freedom Foundation, “Mikey Weinstein is the undisputed leader of the national movement to restore the obliterated wall separating church and state in the most technologically lethal organization ever created by humankind: the United States armed forces.”

Mikey Weinstein is also responsible for publishing some of the most vile and abusive rhetoric used against American Christians, particularly those serving in the military. He has access to the Pentagon and is shaping President Obama’s anti-religion policy there.

Don’t let the bogus name Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) fool you. What Mikey Weinstein wants is freedom FROM religion, particularly in the United States military.

I don’t need to characterize Weinstein to you. Instead, his own words tell you everything you need to know about this dangerous anti-Christian activist.

In response to the Religious Liberties Amendment being appended to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) – a measure Liberty Counsel is strongly supporting – Weinstein said this on his MRFF website…

“This danger [to our troops] is not a “jihad” of exotic, international origin. Quite on the contrary, it is a homegrown Holy War emanating from belligerent fundamentalist Christian bigots in government who delight in fancying themselves as the prodigiously proselytizing foot-soldiers of a modern-day ‘Crusade.’ The latest vicious whirlwind imperiling our service members, and consequently our national security, comes in a two-pronged effort to implant “Religious Freedom” amendments in the 2014 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Section 530 [of the NDAA Amendment] would allow every bigoted slimeball within the American armed forces – the homophobes, Islamophobes, anti-Semites, misogynists, anti-Constitutionalists, fundamentalist/dominionist Christians, and/or all of the above – to be given absolute free rein to slither out of their stinking closets of putrid prejudice and spout their twisted, Christian-jihad poison”(emphasis is as originally written).

Weinstein is outspokenly against any Christian influence whatsoever on our military. One recent MRFF headline reads, “‘Drones for Christ’: The Horrifying Prospects of Merging Church & State in the U.S. Military,” and the body of the article demonizes Liberty University’s cutting-edge aviation programs….

“Liberty bills itself as ‘one of America’s top military-friendly schools.’ It trains chaplains for the various branches of the military. And it trains pilots in its School of Aeronautics (SOA) – pilots who go up in planes and drone pilots who sit behind desks wearing pilot suits… Liberty has been turning out ‘Christ-centered aviators’ for a decade… [This] starkly illustrates the immense gravity of MRFF’s mission.”

The MRFF mission is clear: To demean and belittle people of faith while promoting a religion-free military and destroying the First Amendment rights of our servicemen and women.

It’s clear he is a vicious anti-Christian blowhard, but just how influential is Mikey Weinstein?

According to the Huffington post, in a recent demonstration of his personal power, Weinstein called the Pentagon and demanded that the Air Force remove a painting from one of their offices entitled “Blessed are the Peacemakers.” He gave them one hour to comply and in 56 minutes the painting was gone.

In 2012, Weinstein was declared one of the “100 Most Influential People in U.S. Defense” by Defense News. Weinstein also won the “Person of the Year” award from Americans United for Separation of Church and State in 2011.

++Weinstein’s mission is now Barack Obama’s mission.

Mikey Weinsten’s influence in the administration’s military policy making is one of the major reasons why the Religious Liberties Amendment must be passed in the Senate!

Service members turning to God and relying on their faith for personal strength in times of danger is a practice as old as mankind itself, yet our President has deemed that expressions of faith somehow undermine “good order” in the military!

We are calling for the Senate to pass the Religious Liberties Amendment as proposed by Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX), amending the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

We have drafted a petition which will be delivered to leaders in the United States Senate strongly declaring, “I Support the Religious Liberties Amendment” and we need your name to be included.
