The American Democratic party is part and parcel to this fearmongering tactic. Toward the end of Hohmann’s post is the complicity of Roman Catholic Communist Pope Francis with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I AM CERTAIN that Pope John Paul II – as much a credit as Ronald Reagan for the demise of the Communist Soviet Union – is rolling in his saintly grave. Just to be clear, I am not an anti-Catholic. As a Charismatic/Word of Faith Protestant I have received my share criticism for my faith. Indeed, Pope John Paul II is a person I’d have on a hero list. I find it quite astounding a Christian leader of any Denomination or Creed would have anything to do with atheistic Christian-hating Communism. Such people claiming Christian adherence are people infected with an anti-Christ spirit at the very least. God help us all if it’s the very worst.

Since February, the U.S. media has been pounding Americans with non-stop reporting about COVID-19 coronavirus.
Eight months later, the data shows everything the media said about the virus was false. Yet, those posing as “journalists” continue to repeat the lies from February and March as if they are facts rooted in their quest to “follow the science.”
Every one of the BIG THREE lies seems designed to promote panic and an irrational response to the actual threat.
Anyone who even suggests that maybe the governments of the world have been overreacting to a virus that kills at about the same rate as the flu has been immediately shot down as stupid and not worth listening to.
Slowly but surely, however, everything we “conspiracy theorists” said back in March about COVID has since been borne out as not a conspiracy theory at all. It was 100 percent true.
So let’s look at the three biggest lies that are still being used to spread fear of COVID-19, keeping in mind that the media used these same lies to castigate President Trump when he was released from the hospital Oct. 5 and implored Americans in a tweet “Don’t let COVID-19 dominate your life.”
This virus is “not like the flu,” we are scolded. It’s much scarier than the flu because:
COVID carries a very high, 3.4 percent, death rate [compared to a flu death rate of 0.10 percent].
This has now been debunked by none other than the United Nations World Health Organization, which the leftist globalists believe is the gold standard for information about COVID. The WHO came out with updated mortality rates this week showing that only 0.13 percent of those infected will die. That’s 26 times lower than WHO’s previously purported death rate of 3.4 percent. We already know that in the U.S. the average age of those who succumb to the virus is 78 and they have an average of 2.6 comorbidities. This 0.13 percent death rate is almost exactly the death rate for the common flu.
COVID is spread by asymptomatic ‘super spreaders’
This scares people to death every time they hear it, because it suggests that every human being you come in contact with can potentially infect you. This is absolute hogwash. Asymptomatic carriers have a very low viral load in their system, making it virtually impossible to pass the virus on to another person. Even in the rare cases that they might be able to pass it on, it is highly unlikely if they don’t have symptoms, meaning they are not coughing, sneezing or wheezing.
COVID is untreatable.
Now that truly is scary! This lie provided the pretext for Bill Gates and Big Pharma to rush to market an unsafe and unproven vaccine, which could end up being mandated by various state governments and corporations. But this “no treatment” lie has been exposed over and over by the facts, most recently seen in the way President Trump was so effectively treated with a cocktail of supplements and drugs. Trump was treated with Remdesivir in combination with zinc, Vitamin D and melatonin. Another option available in some states is hydroxychloroquine.
These three lies were cleverly crafted to refute anyone who brings facts to the table to argue that the government has no business closing down churches, businesses or generally violating the civil liberties of any American.
The authorities say this coronavirus has killed 204,000 Americans but those numbers don’t reflect the fact that hospitals were directed by the CDC to be liberal in filling out death certificates. Some doctors were so liberal that they actually notched deaths from accidents, heart attacks and strokes as COVID related and therefore COVID caused. CDC estimates that only 6 percent of these 204,000 deaths have been caused by COVID alone.
While these are the three biggest lies, they are not the only lies the media has told and continues to tell. What about the risk to young people? A look at the data shows incontrovertible evidence that college-age students have virtually no risk of dying from COVID. The media knows this. That’s why they focus their hysteria on the number of “cases” on campuses, not the number of deaths.
According to a survey by the New York Times, published Sept. 25, at least 130,000 people on more than 1,600 campuses contracted COVID and 70 died, but “most” of those 70 deaths, the Times admits, were not students but rather college employees, who were likely much older. But even if we factor in those older employees, the rate of death on college campuses according to the Times’ own study is a paltry 0.054 percent. Stunning!
One would think that once these scurrilous lies were exposed, the media would be shouting from the housetops that the CDC, WHO, Drs. Fauci and Birks, Gates and the rest of the “experts” who they relied on for their information, and whose misinformation formed the basis for politicians to implement the economy-killing lockdowns, were completely wrong! Isn’t that what good, honest journalists do when they find out they’ve been played? Yes, they go back and correct the record.
But instead we see no corrections of their previous false reporting. No, they double down on the lies.
This is not news. This is the hallmark of a propaganda operation. Another name for it is information warfare.
If they corrected their false reports and began to prominently report the truth about COVID, this would put pressure on political leaders to end the destructive restrictions on human activity. Those leaders could then turn their focus to protecting the vulnerable, which are people over 65 with multiple serious pre-existing health issues.
But that would require an honest press – something that no longer exists in America. They will continue to repeat the same old lies, that COVID is a killer disease unlike any other faced by mankind; we must “not let our foot off the pedal” of containing it, people of all ages and conditions must stay masked up at all times, indoors or out, and we must stay separated and isolated from our loved ones.
The ‘Great Reset’
Meanwhile, the real reason for locking people down, telling them they must stop traveling for non-essential trips, shuttering small businesses or bogging them down with irrational and arbitrary rules, goes unreported by the mainstream media. But it’s hiding in plain view for anyone with an ounce of curiosity.
The global power brokers at the United Nations, World Economic Forum, the British royal family, the International Monetary Fund and the Vatican have told us why COVID must be kept front and center in the human psyche for the foreseeable future: They’ve all identified it as the key to launching a “Great Reset” of the global economic and social order. They want to do away with the post-World War II free-market capitalist system and replace it with a global technocratic surveillance state likely to include a new digital currency and digital ID system. This new system will be much more authoritarian than what Americans would choose to live under if we remained in normal times, so the technocrats had to create a “new normal” that grips people in fear. People are known to defer to their leaders in times of crisis and panic. They can be convinced to go along with almost anything in such times, when fear brings its twin cousins of chaos and confusion.
The new age pope
Pope Francis and the Vatican are also fully on board with the new socio-economic world order being prepared for us – just read his latest encyclical issued on Oct. 3 entitledFratelli Tutti [translated as Brothers All]. In it, he blames capitalism for the world’s most pressing problems, derides the concept of private property, holds up collectivism as superior to the rights of the individual, and seems to call for open borders and a termination of national sovereignty.
The pope cites COVID-19 as the triggering event that will usher in a new age of man-based utopian groupthink.
“The Covid-19 pandemic momentarily revived the sense that we are a global community, all in the same boat, where one person’s problems are the problems of all. Once more we realize that no one is saved alone; we can only be saved together.”
COVID was simply a prop, a triggering mechanism, for what global elites refer to as the Great Reset, the New Economy, the Green Economy and Sustainable Development. Whatever they call it, those with discernment will recognize this as the end-times beast system, global in nature, which will seek to dominate every human life on the planet.
The re-election of Donald Trump can forestall the world’s march into this new Dark Age, where freedom of movement, assembly, speech and religion are all tightly monitored and controlled. Joe Biden will welcome it, as this was the path his former boss Barack Obama had set us on. Obama signed the UN 2030 Agenda in September 2015 and the UN’s New Urban Agenda for global cities, as well as the Strong Cities Network, which is the UN’s effort to globalize city and county police forces. He also signed on to the UN’s Paris Climate accords.
Global government will materialize. It’s only a matter of when. The Bible says the end times will be marked by the rise of an anti-Christ system that bullies and bludgeons its way to power over all humanity. The United Nations arrogantly affirms the biblical prophecies with its admonition that “no person will be left behind” by its 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
As Christians, we must prepare both physically and spiritually for persecution that will only grow more intense in the weeks, months and years ahead. We must resist ungodly government edicts that seek to silence our voice, shut down our religious practice and deprive us of our humanity.

President Trump Has Been Duped

President Donald J. Trump, “the Great Negotiator”, is touting the worse “trade agreement” in U.S. history, after he and Democrats reached an agreement on the **United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement[aka USMCA] on December 10th 2019, and if this globalist mess is the best he can do, something is dreadfully wrong within his administration. This agreement is the antithesis of America First and merges the worse parts of NAFTA and the Trans-Pacific Partnership[aka TPP] that was rejected in 2017, and President Trump has either inadvertently taken his eye off the process, as the globalist wolves entered the hen-house, or he is a willing and complicit actor in a process that destroys U.S. sovereignty.
In a morning tweet, on December 10th, President Trump hailed the prospect of completing one more campaign promise: “America’s great USMCA Trade Bill is looking good.”
Robert Lighthizer, the chief trade official leading negotiations for the U.S., stated: “We have created a deal that will benefit American workers, farmers, and ranchers for years to come. This will be the model for American trade deals going forward.”
This egregious piece of legislation is set to go to a vote on Thursday December 19th in the House of Representatives, unless something cancels the vote, according to one staffer in Representative Mark Green’s office, and it more than likely will pass, since, as of this writing, even some Republicans-In-Name-Only, such as Congressman Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN) — Tennessee 3rd District, are currently set to vote in favor of its passage. As an aside, I made sure to tell Rep. Fleischmann’s staffer that I would in fact travel to his area and work against him, if he votes for this deeply flawed, anti-American piece of ill-conceived crap.
Americans have continuously been told that this renegotiated deal is all about trade and improving life for all North Americans and Mexicans, but it is more than clear that it is really about control. This “deal” is about the total control of all things and all people that fall under its jurisdiction.
A page by page comparison of the 2325 page USMCA and the TPP reveals an extensive overlap. Nearly all the exact same problems inherent in the TPP also are found in the USMCA, in the manifest erosion of national sovereignty, the unrestricted movement of foreign nationals and the de facto facilitation of illegal immigration, collective bargaining for workers and measures to combat climate change.
According to ** this study — How much of the Transpacific Partnership is in the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement? (June 26th 2019) — conducted by researchers from the University at Ottawa, fifty-seven percent of the text of the USMCA is copied from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a treaty repeatedly described as a “horrible deal” by President Trump. Twenty-nine out of thirty chapters have equivalents in the USMCA and seventy-two percent of the matched USMCA chapters are found in both agreements. Many of the chapter titles are identical and so too are the various articles and clauses they each contain. And upon deep analysis, the textual similarity between the USMCA and the TPP reveal that have a great deal in common; they are of the same generation of treaties, and they do not mark a fundamental rupture in U.S. practices, despite President Trump’s rhetoric.
Take an in depth look at the agreement, and one will discover Chapter 30 establishes a new governing bureaucracy under a Free Trade Commission of unelected and unaccountable men and women overseeing various lower regional committees. Just as initially set forth in the TPP Commission, the Free Trade Commission can make changes to the USMCA without the consent of Congress, and this fact, in and of itself, completely undermines Article I Section 8 of the Constitution and Congressional authority and power to regulate trade with foreign nations.
The United States already has enough problems with an illegal alien invasion of between 22 to 40 million illegals without compounding it by relinquishing any sovereignty and decision making in this regard to an unelected Commission of the USMCA, which very well could be the consequence, if this treaty is ratified by the Senate, after the House passes it. Illegal immigration is certain to be further facilitated by Article 23.8 (Chapter 23) on Migrant Workers and a requirement to “ensure that migrant workers are protected under its (each respective nation’s) labor laws, whether they are nationals or non-nationals” (read “illegal aliens” and “foreign nationals”). This would serve to circumvent any determinations by our Congress and federal judiciary regarding the arrival of caravans of illegal aliens from Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador, as well as a final determination on DACA. And making it plain in language identical to language in the TPP, Article 15.5 of the USMCA states: “No party shall adopt or maintain … a measure that … imposes a limitation on … the total number of natural persons that may be employed in a particular financial service sector or that a financial institution or cross-border service supplier may employ … in the form of numerical quotas or the requirement of an economic needs test.” This opens the door for any number of people to be brought across the border for any reason deemed necessary by one or more Parties involved, flooding America with radical Central American socialists.
Staying true to other globalist anti-American schemes, the USMCA also forces signatories to submit to international concerns, such as the International Labor Organization, the World Trade Organization and United Nations mandates like the Law of the Sea, that the United States refused to ratify in 1982, along with “sustainable development” — mentioned no less than nine times in the chapter on the environment — and International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives directives and edicts, that many of the U.S. states have fought to eradicate over the past decade, after experiencing years of their oppressive nature. Although the original NAFTA agreement did not contain any directive on the environment in 1994, the USMCA contains a thirty pages in Chapter 24 dedicated to the environment, that mentions “sustainable development” nine times. Page two of this chapter states: “The Parties recognize that a healthy environment is an integral element of sustainable development and recognize the contribution that trade makes to sustainable development.” Other similar points address “sustainable fisheries” and the “sustainable use of biodiversity”, both of which are aligned with and straight from the United Nation’s Agenda 2030; and, it also contains the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation among the Governments of the United States, Canada and the United Mexican States, that has a subsidiary called the Commission for Environmental Cooperation, quite like a supra-EPA for all of North America.
The purpose of the USMCA’s environment chapter, according to Article 24.2, is as follows [page 2 of PDF]: ” … to promote mutually supportive trade and environmental policies and practices; promote high levels of environmental protection and effective enforcement of environmental laws; and enhance the capacities of the Parties to address trade-related environmental issues, including through cooperation, in furtherance of sustainable development.”
So, the USMCA is essentially calling for the regulation and control over all the waters, lands and organisms across three countries, in much the same way President Obama sought to exert complete control over America through the Water Rules for the United States EPA regulation. The USMCA would strip the United States of control in these areas, through its control over three countries and multi-layers of government overseen and directed by regional government entities. This would effectively put all American lives — where they live, how they live and what jobs they may perform in any given region — in the hands of unelected bureaucrats, with little to no real oversight whatsoever.
As far back as the 1980s, President Ronald Reagan was intelligent enough and prescient to recognize the Law of the Sea Treaty as a thinly veiled attempt to force a lurch towards world government and the New World Order later described in glowing terms by President George H.W. Bush, a globalist “Republican”, and so Reagan refused to sign it, after Jeanne Kirkpatrick, U.S. Ambassador to the UN from 1981 to 1985, testified before the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, in fierce opposition to its ratification. And although Pres. Bush Jr urged its ratification in 2007 and it was once again supported in 2012 by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as of 2019, the U.S. Senate has still refused to ratify the UN convention.
However, in the USMCA’s Chapter 24, [Scroll to] Article 24.18, “Sustainable Fisheries Management”, the United States, Canada and Mexico are required to adhere to the Law of the Sea Treaty in regards to managing their fishing industries. In other words, the United States will essentially surrender its sovereignty over all its waterways and miles of coastal oceans to the jurisdiction of UN international law, which would be a national security nightmare on too many levels possible to entertain here, all in the name of protecting fish and marine life.
All of this opens a path towards a North American Union, as the USMCA seeks to merge the economies of these three countries into one. Think of it as similar to the authoritarian European Union on steroids, dashing madly along and trampling on each and every inalienable right and each item in our U.S. Bill of Rights along the way.
Is it any wonder that the anti-American Travelers, the Communists and the New World Order globalists are so ecstatic over the creation of this USMCA “New Deal”, the old made new?
According to the Huffington Post, “At least half of the men and women standing behind Trump during his Rose Garden ceremony praising the new deal were the same career service staff who negotiated nearly identical provisions in TPP, which Trump had railed against.” Trevor Kincaid, one of the group and the lead negotiator for TPP, observed, “It’s really the same with a new name.”
Doesn’t most of America remember just how bad TPP was proven to be? Don’t all of You recall how hard freedom loving Americans fought to defeat TPP?
All America must flood the White House and Congress with calls and letters demanding this treaty be completely eradicated and thrown in the trash where it belongs. Remind Trump how he felt about the TPP when he rejected it by executive order in 2017, and explain to him how disastrous the USMCA will be in practice. If he and representatives and senators look at this honestly with America’s best interests at heart, they will all take immediate action to terminate this ill-founded evil machination, designed by men who would destroy America.
Lincoln Bloomfield, a longtime State Department bureaucrat and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, wrote a report in 1962, that was financed by the State Department. His report proposed that “ever-larger units evolve through customs unions, confederation, regionalism, etc., until ultimately the larger units coalesce under a global umbrella. America is now witnessing the culmination of those globalists’ efforts coming to fruition through the completion of one segment of the “global umbrella” — a globalist objective — by way of the USMCA.
Those who created the USMCA have no respect for U.S. sovereignty and the Constitution, no true love for America and no honor, and more than likely, President Trump has been duped by them, since no evidence exists that shows the President has ever supported globalism. More than that, President Trump failed to understand that the management of the entire United States is guided by approximately five pages and a single paged Bill of Rights, rather than over 2000 pages, or that a real free trade agreement keeping with American principles of Liberty would be noted for its absence of rules on trade; and, while it may be hard to move the President to disavow and kill this miserable treaty, he will do it and he must, if he truly decries world government and does not wish to be known as the progenitor of “the worst agreement ever negotiated”, akin to the one-worlders and the likes of the Rockefellers and Soros; and in the process, let us place our government back in the hands of “We the People” in 2020, as we hold people and organizations accountable for moving in such a reprehensible, ignoble manner to end our Republic and destroy our Constitution in pursuit of Marxist-Leninism and a global government, actions that most freedom and liberty loving Americans use to call treason.

Alan Dershowitz is a Left-Winger. Or at least I’ve always believed so. BUT his recent support of Constitutional law that benefits President Trump rather than fellow Leftist Dems has led to place Dershowitz as more Center-Left than Left-Wing. AND NOW I just finished reading an article that fully supports Israel sovereignty over religious sites that have a Judaic history over pseudo-Palestinians who desire to usurp that Israeli sovereignty.
I urge all visitors to join me in a conspiracy to violate the UN Security Council Resolution…Obama, himself, engineered the Resolution. He pushed it through the Security Council despite some reservations by other members, including Egypt, which believed that the Resolution itself could become a barrier to a negotiated two-state solution. After all, if Israel’s control over Judaism’s holiest site is deemed illegal, then Israel would have to negotiate its legality with the Palestinians.
These Jewish areas were illegally occupied by Jordan between 1948 and 1967 and lawfully recaptured by Israel in a defensive war, started by Jordan when it fired mortars at civilian targets inside pre-1967 Israel…. Yet there were no United Nations Resolutions, campus protests or other organized shows of opposition by the international community. Only after Israel liberated these historically Jewish areas, did the world, and Obama, decide — in violation of international law — that they were illegally occupied.
Declaring the Western Wall to be illegally occupied territory is akin to declaring the Vatican, Mecca or other religious, holy sites to be occupied by those who pray at them. The Western Wall is lawfully part of the nation state of the Jewish people. It will remain so as long as Israel exists. If there is to be any hope of peace between Israel and the Palestinians, the world must recognize that historic, moral and legal reality.

Last week, in Israel, I committed a flagrant violation of international law. This “war crime” consisted of placing a note asking for “peace, salaam, shalom” in the Western Wall, Judaism’s holiest site. The reason the note requesting peace constituted “a flagrant violation of international law” and a “war crime” is that the United Nations Security Council, in a Resolution adopted in December 2016, declared that all areas captured by Israel during the 1967 War are illegally occupied territories. That includes the Western Wall, the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem and the access roads on Mount Scopus to the Hebrew University and Hadassah Hospital.
Former US President Barack Obama demanded that his permanent representative to the United Nations not veto this one-sided, wrong-headed, ahistorical, bigoted, and anti-peace Resolution. Obama changed American policy by allowing such a resolution to be enacted by the Security Council as revenge on Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who, quite correctly, opposed the very bad deal Obama made with Iran enabling it to develop nuclear weapons.
Although Obama himself had once stood in front of the Western Wall and placed a note in it, he now apparently regards Judaism’s holiest place as territory illegally occupied by Israel. He is dead wrong, but that does not change the Security Council Resolution.
So now I, and doubtless many others, have not only willfully and deliberately committed a violation of international law, we are also guilty of a war crime, because building or using civilian structures on illegally occupied territory is a war crime; and Israel built, and I used, the promenade in front of the Western Wall after Israel recaptured it during a defensive war.
Let me be clear: I intend to commit this crime during every visit to Israel. Call it an act of civil disobedience, or call it an act which simply recognizes the absurdity and illegality of the Security Council Resolution, despite its passage and lack of veto by the United States, which abstained.
The United States abstention was designed to give the Obama administration political cover at home. It could claim that it did not vote for the Resolution. But it did much more than vote for the Resolution. Obama, himself, engineered the Resolution. He pushed it through the Security Council despite some reservations by other members, including Egypt, which believed that the Resolution itself could become a barrier to a negotiated two-state solution. After all, if Israel’s control over Judaism’s holiest site is deemed illegal, then Israel would have to negotiate its legality with the Palestinians. This would give the Palestinians an incomparable bargaining chip. As a former Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority once rhetorically asked me, “How much would Israel be willing to give up to get back its most important religious shrine?”
Israel will never accept the Security Council Resolution. Nor should any decent person. I certainly do not, and will continue to violate it during every visit to Israel, by putting notes in the Western Wall, eating kosher falafel in the Jewish Quarter and driving on the access road to Hebrew University, and if I need to, Hadassah Hospital. I urge all visitors to join me in a conspiracy to violate the Security Council Resolution.
These Jewish areas were illegally occupied by Jordan between 1948 and 1967 and lawfully recaptured by Israel in a defensive war, started by Jordan when it fired mortars at civilian targets inside pre-1967 Israel. During the Jordanian occupation, King Hussein engaged in war crimes by ordering the destruction of ancient synagogues, burial places and other historical sites and by “ethnically cleansing” this historically Jewish area of all Jews. Yet there were no United Nations Resolutions, campus protests or other organized shows of opposition by the international community. Only after Israel liberated these historically Jewish areas, did the world, and Obama, decide — in violation of international law — that they were illegally occupied.
Declaring the Western Wall to be illegally occupied territory is akin to declaring the Vatican, Mecca or other religious, holy sites to be occupied by those who pray at them. The Western Wall is lawfully part of the nation state of the Jewish people. It will remain so as long as Israel exists. If there is to be any hope of peace between Israel and the Palestinians, the world must recognize that historic, moral and legal reality.

While President Donald Trump seeks funding for a bordering! wall, the United Nations is seeking control of migration policies worldwide, with a campaign configured to undermine America’s sovereignty and control over its own borders. As with many of the U.N.’s turf grabs, this campaign to co-opt national migration policy has been years in the making. Incremental in its origins, and swaddled in U.N. jargon and procedure, it has largely escaped the U.S. headlines. But it’s now reached the stage of becoming dangerous.
The spearhead of this U.N. campaign is an international agreement with the high-minded name of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration. That’s not remotely what this document boils down to. While proclaiming a utopian “unity of purpose” among the 193 highly diverse member states, this Global Compact would have the U.N.’s largely unaccountable, self-aggrandizing and often opaque bureaucracy, operating in service of its despot-infested collective of governments, set the terms for all.
The lengthy text reads like a template for setting up the world’s most politically correct welfare state, with a colossal menu of entitlements and central planning for migrants; never mind the cost to the pockets, rights and freedoms of the existing citizens. This “compact” does not restrict itself to refugees. It anoints the U.N. as arbiter of how to handle cross-border human mobility worldwide, meaning migrants, permanent or temporary, whatever their reasons for wanting to move. In this scheme of the universe, the U.N. proposes to become the overarching authority “addressing migration in all its dimensions.” [Bold text Blog Editor’s]
Coming from a United Nations that has yet to solve its own problems with peacekeeper rape of minors, that’s ambitious.
In a section on eliminating “all forms of discrimination,” this compact also aims to “shape perceptions of migration,” not least by smothering free speech and promoting gags and penalties for news coverage or debate that the U.N., in its collective majesty, deems unfriendly to migrants. This compact was adopted without a vote at an international conference last month in Morocco, in which the U.S. declined to take part. The resulting draft was endorsed on Dec. 19 by the U.N. General Assembly in New York, over U.S. protests.
It is telling that among 193 member states, the 152 countries voting in favor of the compact included such brazen human-rights abusers as Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela, Myanmar and Iran. The five countries voting no were the U.S., Israel, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. The remaining 36 member states either officially abstained or did nothing. [Bold text Blog Editor’s]
At the U.N., such big vote tallies in favor of U.N. turf grabs are business as usual. In practice, the Global Compact would entail virtually no costs for rogue, despotic or failing member states, which routinely vote for resolutions that they themselves ignore. The main costs would fall on the law-abiding, free countries that provide the most desirable destinations for migrants, and notably on the biggest single contributor to the U.N., the United States. The U.S. Mission to the U.N. denounced the compact, accurately, as amounting to a bid “to advance global governance at the expense of the sovereign right of States to manage their immigration systems in accordance with their national laws, policies and interests.” A U.S. envoy warned that this compact could translate into a “long-term means of building customary international law or so-called ‘soft law’ in the area of migration,” and expressed particular concern that the term “compact” is an amorphous word in international law, “but implies legal obligation.” [Bold text Blog Editor’s]
The U.N.’s rejoinder has been that General Assembly resolutions are nonbinding; participation by member states is voluntary.
Which brings us to the real pressure tactics with which the UN is attempting an end-run around the United States. In concert with a vision outlined in 2017 by Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the Compact itself calls for the U.N. to set up a sprawling “network on migration,” to embed, coordinate and promote the compact’s methods and goals throughout the U.N. system and around the globe. The UN Terms of Reference for this compact include a preliminary list of 38 U.N. entities already slated to promote this agenda.
The Compact further stipulates that the secretariat and coordinator of this migration network will be a U.N. agency called the International Organization for Migration. The IOM operates with a staff of more than 9,000, in some 150 countries, with a budget of more than $1.4 billion per year, the biggest slice of that contributed by the United States. The kicker is that it was less than three years ago that the International Organization for Migration joined the U.N. For some 65 years before that, it was chiefly led, bankrolled and shaped by the U.S., and served as one of America’s most reliable partners in dealing with migration. Based in Geneva, the IOM was founded in 1951 as an intergovernmental agency — outside the U.N. system. The migration organization was not a policy shop. Its mission was primarily to help with logistics in resettling people displaced in Europe by World War II. That led to it helping migrant populations hit with both man-made and natural disasters, from the Soviet invasions of Eastern Europe, to the Vietnamese boat people, to victims of the Christmas tsunami of 2004, and so forth. The international migration group cooperated with the U.N., but in keeping with longstanding U.S. preferences, it did not join the U.N. The arrangement worked pretty well.
That all changed under President Barack Obama. During Obama’s final year in office, in 2016, with a nod from his administration, the IOM joined the U.N., which promptly declared plans to create a global plan for migration. For 2017, as a parting gift of the Obama administration, America’s $544 million contribution included $1.68 million earmarked for conferences and consultations supporting the creation of the Global Compact. In late 2017, the Trump administration reversed that policy, announcing the U.S. would no longer support U.N. activities leading to the Global Compact. Ambassador Nikki Haley released a statement that: “America is proud of our immigrant heritage and our long-standing moral leadership in providing support to migrant and refugee populations across the globe,” but the U.N.’s global migration project, she said, “is simply not compatible with U.S. sovereignty.” [Bold text Blog Editor’s]
The U.N. pursued the compact regardless, with the IOM playing a major role in consultations and conferences around the globe, including a major preparatory conference in 2017 in Mexico and a culminating conference last month in Morocco. In early 2017, Guterres appointed as his special representative for migration a former U.N. human rights commissioner, Louise Arbour, who worked closely with the IOM to shepherd the Global Compact to fruition and presided at the Morocco conference, which Secretary-General Guterres also attended.
When the IOM elected a new director-general in 2018, the U.S. lost its longtime leadership of the organization to a Portuguese socialist, Antonio Vittorino. An old cohort of Guterres, Vittorino made a career as a member of Portugal’s Socialist Party, and in the 1990s, during Guterres’s tenure as Portugal’s prime minister, served a stint as his deputy. Now they are working together on what is basically a socialist vision for global migration. [Bold text Blog Editor’s]
According to the terms under which it joined the U.N., the IOM is not supposed to shape norms or prescribe policy. The agreement spells out that it “shall function as an independent, autonomous and non-normative international organization.” But that’s not how it’s working out. The precise arrangements within the IOM for its new role as secretariat and hub of the U.N.’s new systemwide migration network are still in flux, according to a spokesman reached by phone in Switzerland. But policymaking looms large, as confirmed by this spokesman: “The IOM is finally after 67 years setting up a policy shop.”
Last year the Trump administration cut off funding for IOM activities specifically related to the Global Compact. The idea was that these could be disentangled from the rest of the organization’s activities, for which a lot of U.S. money continues to flow, most of it voluntary. In 2018, according to IOM budget estimates, the U.S. contributed roughly $448 million in voluntary funds, all but $2 million of that project-dedicated, plus $12 million in assessed dues.
But with the International Organization for Migration now planning its own policy shop and serving as the hub and secretariat for a U.N. migration network to promote the Global Compact, it’s hard to see how any IOM project might escape being entwined with this campaign to undermine U.S. sovereignty. It’s looking ever more as if a good step toward enhancing U.S. border security would be to stop funding the migration organization and spend all those American tax dollars on projects and partners more dedicated to the genuine interests of both migrants and the U.S. itself.

UN hit list can bypass Congress and fund Trump border wall
If the President does not secure the border wall funding from Congress–then those countries that humiliated Trump could well see their foreign aid in 2019 slashed from their 2017 levels
21 Nations that received almost $14 billion in US foreign aid in 2017 could become the key to unlocking the White House confrontation between President Trump and Democrat leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer over their refusal to commit the Democrats to authorizing Congress to commit $5 billion immediately towards the construction of Trump’s border wall to prevent illegal immigration into America.
Trump’s threatened Government shutdown by 21 December has been withdrawn as he seeks alternative sources of funding.

These 21 states were major players in humiliating Trump – when an American sponsored resolution in the United Nations General Assembly seeking to condemn Hamas and other militant groups for indiscriminately targeting Israel’s predominantly Jewish civilian population since 2007 failed to secure the required two-third’s majority earlier determined as necessary for its passage.
Trump has warned on many occasions that those who receive money from America—yet do not support America diplomatically—stand to lose financially as a result.
Trump has already well and truly practised what he preached:
Defunding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency of $360 million annually
Withdrawing from UNESCO leaving it to fund the 22% of its budget lost as a result
Calling on NATO countries to meet their agreed share of the NATO budget
Cutting more than $200 million in funding the Palestine Liberation Organisation
Trump has already ominously warned those countries that humiliated him on the Hamas Resolution that they could be in the firing line for reductions in their annual foreign aid as a result of not voting with America.
This threat becomes increasingly more likely as the Democrats dig in their heels and refuse to give the President the $5 billion he needs to build the border wall—one of the President’s cardinal promises made in the 2016 election campaign that has been frustrated by the Democrats from the day Trump became President.
Trump should be readily able to determine how $5 billion of this $14 billion funding to these recalcitrant states can be redirected to building the border wall.
Trump can also look at defunding:
another 54 recipients of US aid that supported a two-thirds majority vote being required on the Hamas resolution over America’s claim that a simple majority only was necessary and
an additional 36 similarly US-funded countries that voted against condemning Hamas on the actual motion
Jordan and Egypt—in addition to not voting with America—apparently continue to resist Trump’s efforts to replace the Palestine Liberation Organisation in negotiations with Israel on Trump’s peace proposals. Their aid could be substantially reduced by a clearly-piqued and very angered Trump.
The ball is now well and truly in the Democrats hands.

Trump is determined to protect America against illegal immigration—and no one will be allowed to stand in his way of making America great again.

On Monday, President Donald Trump gave one of the best speeches at the United Nations I have ever heard from an American since President Reagan. President Trump verbally spanked North Korea, Iran, the UN over sovereignty issues and members paying their fair share, Radical Islamic terrorism, the Maduro Socialist dictatorship in Venezuela, spanked Cuba over its Marxist dictatorship, International Multi-national trade agreements that place an undue financial burden on American taxpayers and in relation to those Multi-national deals, the President spanked unaccountable globalist bureaucracies that impose rules/laws that sovereign nation legislatures have not agreed to.
I felt like I was watching football team score touchdown after touchdown. I cheered and shouted throughout the roughly 40-minute speech.
Unsurprisingly, the Leftist Mainstream Media (MSM) acted as the opposing football team going hysterical with each point scored by Trump. Especially the President’s classicbranding acumen in giving Kim Jong-un a new nickname: ROCKET MAN. I know of the ballistic Leftist MSM reaction not by observation but thanks to Fox News exposing Leftist propaganda of their competitors. I saw a clip on Fox News of George Stephanopoulos berating UN Ambassador Nikki Haley over the Rocket Man branding. Here’s the quote I heard from Ambassador Haley defending the NoKo branding to Stephanopoulos that I found on BusinessInsider:
“I was talking to a president of an African country, and he actually cited ‘Rocket Man’ back to me. So, I will tell you that look — this is a way of getting people to talk about him, but every other international community is referring to him as Rocket Man.”

In remembering the great victory that led to this body’s founding, we must never forget that those heroes who fought against evil, also fought for the nations that they love. Patriotism led the Poles to die to save Poland, the French to fight for a free France, and the Brits to stand strong for Britain. Today, if we do not invest ourselves, our hearts, our minds, and our nations, if we will not build strong families, safe communities, and healthy societies for ourselves, no one can do it for us.

Mr. Secretary General, Mr. President, world leaders, and distinguished delegates, welcome to New York. It is a profound honor to stand here in my home city as a representative of the American people to address the people of the world. As millions of our citizens continue to suffer the effects of the devastating hurricanes that have struck our country, I want to begin by expressing my appreciation to every leader in this room who has offered assistance and aid. The American people are strong and resilient, and they will emerge from these hardships more determined than ever before.
Fortunately, the United States has done very well since Election Day last November 8. The stock market is at an all-time high, a record. Unemployment is at its lowest level in 16 years, and because of our regulatory and other reforms, we have more people working in the United States today than ever before. Companies are moving back, creating job growth, the likes of which our country has not seen in a very long time, and it has just been announced that we will be spending almost $700 billion on our military and defense. Our military will soon be the strongest it has ever been. For more than 70 years, in times of war and peace, the leaders of nations, movements, and religions have stood before this assembly.
Like them, I intend to address some of the very serious threats before us today, but also the enormous potential waiting to be unleashed. We live in a time of extraordinary opportunity.
Breakthroughs in science, technology, and medicine are curing illnesses and solving problems that prior generations thought impossible to solve. But each day also brings news of growing dangers that threaten everything we cherish and value. Terrorists and extremists have gathered strength and spread to every region of the planet. Rogue regimes represented in this body not only support terror but threaten other nations and their own people with the most destructive weapons known to humanity.
Authority and authoritarian powers seek to collapse the values, the systems, and alliances, that prevented conflict and tilted the world toward freedom since World War II. International criminal networks traffic drugs, weapons, people, force dislocation and mass migration, threaten our borders and new forms of aggression exploit technology to menace our citizens. To put it simply, we meet at a time of both immense promise and great peril. It is entirely up to us whether we lift the world to new heights or let it fall into a valley of disrepair. We have it in our power, should we so choose, to lift millions from poverty, to help our citizens realize their dreams, and to ensure that new generations of children are raised free from violence, hatred, and fear.
This institution was founded in the aftermath of two world wars, to help shape this better future. It was based on the vision that diverse nations could cooperate to protect their sovereignty, preserve their security, and promote their prosperity. It was in the same period exactly 70 years ago that the United States developed the Marshall Plan to help restore Europe. Those beautiful pillars, they are pillars of peace, sovereignty, security, and prosperity. The Marshall Plan was built on the noble idea that the whole world is safer when nations are strong, independent, and free. As president, Truman said in his message to congress at that time, our support of European recovery is in full accord with our support of the United Nations.
The success of the United Nations depends upon the independent strength of its members. To overcome the perils of the present, and to achieve the promise of the future, we must begin with the wisdom of the past. Our success depends on a coalition of strong and independent nations that embrace their sovereignty, to promote security, prosperity, and peace, for themselves and for the world. We do not expect diverse countries to share the same cultures, traditions, or even systems of government, but we do expect all nations to uphold these two core sovereign duties, to respect the interests of their own people and the rights of every other sovereign nation.
This is the beautiful vision of this institution, and this is the foundation for cooperation and success. Strong sovereign nations let diverse countries with different values, different cultures, and different dreams not just coexist, but work side by side on the basis of mutual respect. Strong sovereign nations let their people take ownership of the future and control their own destiny. And strong sovereign nations allow individuals to flourish in the fullness of the life intended by God. In America, we do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to watch.
This week gives our country a special reason to take pride in that example. We are celebrating the 230th anniversary of our beloved Constitution, the oldest constitution still in use in the world today. This timeless document has been the foundation of peace, prosperity, and freedom for the Americans and for countless millions around the globe whose own countries have found inspiration in its respect for human nature, human dignity, and the rule of law. The greatest in the united States Constitution is its first three beautiful words. They are “We the people.” Generations of Americans have sacrificed to maintain the promise of those words, the promise of our country and of our great history.
In America, the people govern, the people rule, and the people are sovereign. I was elected not to take power, but to give power to the American people where it belongs. In foreign affairs, we are renewing this founding principle of sovereignty. Our government’s first duty is to its people, to our citizens, to serve their needs, to ensure their safety, to preserve their rights, and to defend their values. As president of the United States, I will always put America first. Just like you, as the leaders of your countries, will always and should always put your countries first.
All responsible leaders have an obligation to serve their own citizens, and the nation state remains the best vehicle for elevating the human condition. But making a better life for our people also requires us to work together in close harmony and unity, to create a more safe and peaceful future for all people.
The United States will forever be a great friend to the world and especially to its allies. But we can no longer be taken advantage of or enter into a one-sided deal where the United States gets nothing in return. As long as I hold this office, I will defend America’s interests above all else, but in fulfilling our obligations to our nations, we also realize that it’s in everyone’s interests to seek the future where all nations can be sovereign, prosperous, and secure.
America does more than speak for the values expressed in the United Nations charter. Our citizens have paid the ultimate price to defend our freedom and the freedom of many nations represented in this great hall. America’s devotion is measured on the battlefields where our young men and women have fought and sacrificed alongside of our allies. From the beaches of Europe to the deserts of the Middle East to the jungles of Asia, it is an eternal credit to the American character that even after we and our allies emerge victorious from the bloodiest war in history, we did not seek territorial expansion or attempt to oppose and impose our way of life on others. Instead, we helped build institutions such as this one to defend the sovereignty, security, and prosperity for all. For the diverse nations of the world, this is our hope.
We want harmony and friendship, not conflict and strife. We are guided by outcomes, not ideologies. We have a policy of principled realism, rooted in shared goals, interests, and values. That realism forces us to confront the question facing every leader and nation in this room, it is a question we cannot escape or avoid. We will slide down the path of complacency, numb to the challenges, threats, and even wars that we face, or do we have enough strength and pride to confront those dangers today so that our citizens can enjoy peace and prosperity tomorrow.
If we desire to lift up our citizens, if we aspire to the approval of history, then we must fulfill our sovereign duties to the people we faithfully represent. We must protect our nations, their interests and their futures. We must reject threats to sovereignty from the Ukraine to the South China Sea. We must uphold respect for law, respect for borders, and respect for culture, and the peaceful engagement these allow.
And just as the founders of this body intended, we must work together and confront together those who threaten us with chaos, turmoil, and terror. The scourge of our planet today are small regimes that violate every principle [on which] the United Nations is based. They respect neither their own citizens nor the sovereign rights of their countries. If the righteous many do not confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph. When decent people and nations become bystanders to history, the forces of destruction only gather power and strength.
No one has shown more contempt for other nations and for the well-being of their own people than the depraved regime in North Korea. It is responsible for the starvation deaths of millions of North Koreans. And for the imprisonment, torture, killing, and oppression of countless more. We were all witness to the regime’s deadly abuse when an innocent American college student, Otto Warmbier, was returned to America, only to die a few days later.
We saw it in the assassination of the dictator’s brother, using banned nerve agents in an international airport. We know it kidnapped a sweet 13-year-old Japanese girl from a beach in her own country, to enslave her as a language tutor for North Korea’s spies. If this is not twisted enough, now North Korea’s reckless pursuit of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles threatens the entire world with unthinkable loss of human life. It is an outrage that some nations would not only trade with such a regime, but would arm, supply, and financially support a country that imperils the world with nuclear conflict.
No nation on Earth has an interest in seeing this band of criminals arm itself with nuclear weapons and missiles. The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime. The United States is ready, willing, and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary. That’s what the United Nations is all about. That’s what the United Nations is for. Let’s see how they do.
It is time for North Korea to realize that the denuclearization is its only acceptable future. The United Nations Security Council recently held two unanimous 15-0 votes adopting hard-hitting resolutions against North Korea, and I want to thank China and Russia for joining the vote to impose sanctions, along with all of the other members of the Security Council. Thank you to all involved. But we must do much more.
It is time for all nations to work together to isolate the Kim regime until it ceases its hostile behavior. We face this decision not only in North Korea; it is far past time for the nations of the world to confront another reckless regime, one that speaks openly of mass murder, vowing death to America, destruction to Israel, and ruin for many leaders and nations in this room.
The Iranian government masks a corrupt dictatorship behind the false guise of a democracy. It has turned a wealthy country, with a rich history and culture, into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos. The longest-suffering victims of Iran’s leaders are, in fact, its own people. Rather than use its resources to improve Iranian live, its oil profits go to fund Hezbollah and other terrorists that kill innocent Muslims and attack their peaceful Arab and Israeli neighbors.
This wealth, which rightly belongs to Iran’s people, also goes to shore up Bashar al-Assad’s dictatorship, fuel Yemen’s civil war, and undermine peace throughout the entire Middle East. We cannot let a murderous regime continue these destabilizing activities while building dangerous missiles, and we cannot abide by an agreement if it provides cover for the eventual construction of a nuclear program. The Iran deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into. Frankly, that deal is an embarrassment to the United States, and I don’t think you’ve heard the last of it. Believe me.
It is time for the entire world to join us in demanding that Iran’s government end its pursuit of death and destruction. It is time for the regime to free all Americans and citizens of other nations that they have unjustly detained. Above all, Iran’s government must stop supporting terrorists, begin serving its own people, and respect the sovereign rights of its neighbors. The entire world understands that the good people of Iran want change, and, other than the vast military power of the United States, that Iran’s people are what their leaders fear the most. This is what causes the regime to restrict internet access, tear down satellite dishes, shoot unarmed student protesters, and imprison political reformers.
Oppressive regimes cannot endure forever, and the day will come when the people will face a choice. Will they continue down the path of poverty, bloodshed, and terror, or will the Iranian people return to the nation’s proud roots as a center of civilization, culture, and wealth, where their people can be happy and prosperous once again? The Iranian regime’s support for terror is in stark contrast to the recent commitments of many of its neighbors to fight terrorism and halt its finance, and in Saudi Arabia early last year, I was greatly honored to address the leaders of more than 50 Arab and Muslim nations. We agreed that all responsible nations must work together to confront terrorists and the Islamic extremism that inspires them.
We will stop radical islamic terrorism because we cannot allow it to tear up our nation and, indeed, to tear up the entire world. We must deny the terrorists’ safe haven, transit, funding, and any form of support for their vile and sinister ideology. We must drive them out of our nation. It is time to expose and hold responsible those countries … who support and finance terror groups like al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, the Taliban, and others that slaughter innocent people.
The United States and our allies are working together throughout the Middle East to crush the loser terrorists and stop the reemergence of safe havens they use to launch attacks on all of our people. Last month I announced a new strategy for victory in the fight against this evil in Afghanistan. From now on, our security interests will dictate the length and scope of military operation, not arbitrary benchmarks and timetables set up by politicians. I have also totally changed the rules of engagement in our fight against the Taliban and other terrorist groups.
In Syria and Iraq, we have made big gains toward lasting defeat of ISIS. In fact, our country has achieved more against ISIS in the last eight months than it has in many, many years combined. We seek the deescalation of the Syrian conflict, and a political solution that honors the will of the Syrian people. The actions of the criminal regime of Bashar al-Assad, including the use of chemical weapons against his own citizens, even innocent children, shock the conscience of every decent person. No society could be safe if banned chemical weapons are allowed to spread. That is why the United States carried out a missile strike on the airbase that launched the attack.
We appreciate the efforts of the United Nations’ agencies that are providing vital humanitarian assistance in areas liberated from ISIS, and we especially thank Jordan, Turkey, and Lebanon for their role in hosting refugees from the Syrian conflict. The United States is a compassionate nation and has spent billions and billions of dollars in helping to support this effort. We seek an approach to refugee resettlement that is designed to help these horribly treated people and which enables their eventual return to their home countries to be part of the rebuilding process. For the cost of resettling one refugee in the United States, we can assist more than 10 in their home region.
Out of the goodness of our hearts, we offer financial assistance to hosting countries in the region and we support recent agreements of the G20 nations that will seek to host refugees as close to their home countries as possible. This is the safe, responsible, and humanitarian approach. For decades the United States has dealt with migration challenges here in the Western Hemisphere.
We have learned that over the long term, uncontrolled migration is deeply unfair to both the sending and the receiving countries. For the sending countries, it reduces domestic pressure to pursue needed political and economic reform and drains them of the human capital necessary to motivate and implement those reforms. For the receiving countries, the substantial costs of uncontrolled migration are born overwhelmingly by low-income citizens whose concerns are often ignored by both media and government.
I want to salute the work of the United Nations in seeking to address the problems that cause people to flee from their home. The United Nations and African Union led peacekeeping missions to have invaluable contributions in stabilizing conflict in Africa. The United States continues to lead the world in humanitarian assistance, including famine prevention and relief, in South Sudan, Somalia, and northern Nigeria and Yemen.
We have invested in better health and opportunity all over the world through programs like PEPFAR, which funds AIDS relief, the President’s Malaria Initiative, the Global Health Security Agenda, the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, and the Women Entrepreneur’s Finance Initiative, part of our commitment to empowering women all across the globe.
We also thank—we also thank the secretary general for recognizing that the United Nations must reform if it is to be an effective partner in confronting threats to sovereignty, security, and prosperity. Too often the focus of this organization has not been on results, but on bureaucracy and process. In some cases, states that seek to subvert this institution’s noble end have hijacked the very systems that are supposed to advance them. For example, it is a massive source of embarrassment to the United Nations that some governments with egregious human rights records sit on the UN Human Rights Council.
The United States is one out of 193 countries in the United Nations, and yet we pay 22 percent of the entire budget and more. In fact, we pay far more than anybody realizes. The United States bears an unfair cost burden, but to be fair, if it could actually accomplish all of its stated goals, especially the goal of peace, this investment would easily be well worth it. Major portions of the world are in conflict, and some, in fact, are going to Hell, but the powerful people in this room, under the guidance and auspices of the United Nations, can solve many of these vicious and complex problems. The American people hope that one day soon the United Nations can be a much more accountable and effective advocate for human dignity and freedom around the world.
In the meantime, we believe that no nation should have to bear a disproportionate share of the burden, militarily or financially. Nations of the world must take a greater role in promoting secure and prosperous societies in their own region. That is why in the Western Hemisphere the United States has stood against the corrupt, destabilizing regime in Cuba and embraced the enduring dream of the Cuban people to live in freedom. My administration recently announced that we will not lift sanctions on the Cuban government until it makes fundamental reforms. We have also imposed tough calibrated sanctions on the socialist Maduro regime in Venezuela, which has brought a once thriving nation to the brink of total collapse. The socialist dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro has inflicted terrible pain and suffering on the good people of that country.
This corrupt regime destroyed a prosperous nation—prosperous nation, by imposing a failed ideology that has produced poverty and misery everywhere it has been tried. To make matters worse, Maduro has defied his own people, stealing power from their elected representatives, to preserve his disastrous rule. The Venezuelan people are starving, and their country is collapsing. Their democratic institutions are being destroyed. The situation is completely unacceptable, and we cannot stand by and watch.
As a responsible neighbor and friend, we and all others have a goal—that goal is to help them regain their freedom, recover their country, and restore their democracy. I would like to thank leaders in this room for condemning the regime and providing vital support to the Venezuelan people. The United States has taken important steps to hold the regime accountable. We are prepared to take further action if the government of Venezuela persists on its path to impose authoritarian rule on the Venezuelan people.
We are fortunate to have incredibly strong and healthy trade relationships with many of the Latin American countries gathered here today. Our economic bond forms a critical foundation for advancing peace and prosperity for all of our people and all of our neighbors. I ask every country represented here today to be prepared to do more to address this very real crisis. We call for the full restoration of democracy and political freedoms in Venezuela. The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented.
From the Soviet Union to Cuba to Venezuela, wherever true socialism or communism has been adopted, it has delivered anguish and devastation and failure. Those who preach the tenets of these discredited ideologies only contribute to the continued suffering of the people who live under these cruel systems. America stands with every person living under a brutal regime. Our respect for sovereignty is also a call for action. All people deserve a government that cares for their safety, their interests, and their well-being, including their prosperity. In America, we seek stronger ties of business and trade with all nations of goodwill, but this trade must be fair and it must be reciprocal.
For too long the American people were told that mammoth, multinational trade deals, unaccountable international tribunals, and powerful global bureaucracies were the best way to promote their success. But as those promises flowed, millions of jobs vanished and thousands of factories disappeared. Others gamed the system and broke the rules, and our great middle class, once the bedrock of American prosperity, was forgotten and left behind, but they are forgotten no more and they will never be forgotten again.
While America will pursue cooperation and commerce with other nations, we are renewing our commitment to the first duty of every government, the duty of our citizens. This bond is the source of America’s strength and that of every responsible nation represented here today. If this organization is to have any hope of successfully confronting the challenges before us, it will depend, as President Truman said some 70 years ago, on the independent strength of its members. If we are to embrace the opportunities of the future and overcome the present dangers together, there can be no substantive for strong, sovereign, and independent nations, nations that are rooted in the histories and invested in their destiny, nations that seek allies to befriend, not enemies to conquer, and most important of all, nations that are home to men and women who are willing to sacrifice for their countries, their fellow citizens, and for all that is best in the human spirit.
In remembering the great victory that led to this body’s founding, we must never forget that those heroes who fought against evil, also fought for the nations that they love. Patriotism led the Poles to die to save Poland, the French to fight for a free France, and the Brits to stand strong for Britain. Today, if we do not invest ourselves, our hearts, our minds, and our nations, if we will not build strong families, safe communities, and healthy societies for ourselves, no one can do it for us.
This is the ancient wish of every people and the deepest yearning that lives inside every sacred soul. So let this be our mission, and let this be our message to the world. We will fight together, sacrifice together, and stand together for peace, for freedom, for justice, for family, for humanity, and for the almighty God who made us all. I am on the email list of Jewish Voice Ministries. I received an interesting email highlighting info on Israel’s United Nations envoy Danny Danon. Danon was recently elected as Vice President of the UN General Assembly placing him in the unique and rare position to be a significant voice for Israel’s perspective on geopolitics.
Email alert goes on to inform readers that Danon is publicly admonishing the United Nations for being in collusion with Islamic terrorists whose sole goal is to destroy the Jewish Homeland of Israel for Arabs that call themselves Palestinians to become sovereign over a land that most of their ascendants were immigrants rather than an inherent population.
This makes the pseudo-Palestinians a fake people with very little actual history to the Land God gave to the Jews as a Promised heritage thousands of years ago.
Danon’s anger at the UN is placed on the fact the internal body supports the false claims of Islamic terrorists over Israel’s sovereignty and heritage. The legitimized PalestinianAuthority (in reality still terrorists), pays money to incarcerated Muslim terrorists and their families. And more heinously the PA has announced the worst Islamic terrorists that call themselves Palestinians – Hamas (SEE ALSOHERE) and PFLP – are not terrorists!
The info is great from Jewish Voice, but in honesty the email alert also serves as a fund raiser for their Ministry. I have no problem with that. Ministries have to pay the bills just like the rest of us. (I wouldn’t mind a little support for myblog efforts as well. 😊) So, donate or not, but remain supportive of a defensible sovereign nation of Israel, which a Palestinian State would make difficult toexist.
Israel’s United Nations envoy Danny Danon slammed the Palestinian Authority (PA) late last week, saying, “They have no shame.”
Quoted in The Times of Israel, Danon was reacting to what he termed “lies and incitement from those who are paying terrorists to kill innocent Israelis.” He added that their claims “will not change the fact that the Palestinian leadership refuses to end their support for terror.”
Danon’s comment came in response to a senior PA official’s claim that Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) are not terrorist groups.
The Palestinian official, Saeb Erekat, reportedly said that Hamas and the PFLP “are not terrorist organizations” and that the key to defeating the Islamic State is to end the “occupation,” the term used by Palestinians in reference to Israel’s presence in land they claim as their own.”
The PA leader’s remarks came at an event called the United Nations Forum to Mark Fifty Years of Occupation which was organized by a pro-Palestinian UN group.
Hamas and the PFLP have both carried out numerous attacks on Israeli security forces and civilians. Less than two weeks ago, the two terror groups claimed responsibility for a knife attack that killed a 23-year-old Israeli border policewoman in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Israel also cited the PA’s payments to terrorists sitting in Israeli jails, to their families, and to the families of Palestinians killed while carrying out terror attacks against Israel as further evidence the Palestinians give aid and comfort to terrorists.
Charges of United Nations Collusion
Danon objected earlier to the event, held at UN headquarters in New York, informing UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres that some of the billed participants had ties to Hamas and the PFLP. Guterres said the event did not have the blessing of his office.
According to Breaking Israel News, on Wednesday of last week Danon went as far as to say the UN “colludes” with terrorist organizations.
“It is beyond comprehension that UN funds are supporting organizations which aid terrorists and incite [violence] against Israel,” Danon said. “We call on the Secretary-General to intervene immediately and prevent these individuals from appearing at the UN.”
Danon may soon be in a position to have more influence over UN activities. He was elected in May to serve as vice president of the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly. For one year, he’ll chair the body’s meetings, have a say in setting its agenda, and oversee rules and decorum during its sessions. His election is seen by many observers as a major victory for Israel, which has been very vocal in its criticism of what it calls the UN’s long-standing bias against the Jewish state.

I have an interest in following Conspiracy Theories. Particularly the conspiracies that have I sense have at least an inkling of credibility. I tend to irritate those who have a pet Conspiracy Theory I find lacking in credibility. I apologize for I don’t mean to offend, simply disagree.
I found a New World Order conspiracy I find very credible. I might have some disagreement in the timeline, nevertheless the thought pattern is credible because it is derived from an interpretation of Biblical End Times.
Pastor Mike Taylor effectively utilizes Scriptures and current events to plot how Globalism, Multiculturalism, United Nations, Agenda 21 morphed into Agenda 2030 are all indicators of what he calls a Babel Effect.
The Babel Effect terminology is derived from the first individual that rebelled against God’s authority with an agenda to establish a One World Government with Nimrod as the global dictator whose will is even superior to God the Creator of all that exists.
v. 4 “And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
v. 5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.
v. 6, And the LORD said, “Indeed the people areone and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.” (Genesis 11:4-6)
In another day and age, there was a demonic dream by a dictator to rule the world. His name was Nimrod and he gathered all the people of the earth on the plain of Shinar to build a tower to reach to heaven. This was after the Noadic flood and man thought they could build a tower higher than any flood and if God brought another one, they would have a tower above the waters. They failed to remember that God said He would not send another flood and put a rainbow in the sky as a promise never to do likewise.
9:11 Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Genesis 9:11)
But that really wasn’t the real intention of the people during this time. The tower was an affront to God and His command to disperse and repopulate the earth. This was another era that men wanted to stay as one people and with one language and to disobey God’s command. And to become a God unto themselves and worship themselves and their dictator who ruled them.
Multiculturalism and Globalization
Fast forward to this generation and the two words that men are promoting, just as Nimrod promoted in this ancient time period is a one world government and a one world religion. Globization means the destruction of any nation/state that make any author of globalization traitors to the nation of their birth. These individuals have sold their allegiance to foreign powers to absorb their country in a pipe dream, much as Nimrod did in the tower of Babel.
Take the United States for example, we have nothing in common with African nations such as Kenya or Somalia, save they are nations on opposite sides of the planet. But according to the United Nations Globalization Plan, a vote from Washington DC would carry no more weight in decisions affecting foreign policy that a warlord in Africa, whoever the warlord happens to be at any given moment.
In the U.N.s misguided vision, to promote “good will toward men” wishes that nations in Africa enjoys the same living standard, say of my home state of Missouri, even if means lowering the living standards of Missouri to be equal to the living standards of Kenya or any other African nation. Both will live in squalor. It will steal from the rich and give to the poor, or so they say.
‘Multiculturalism’ means having no individual national culture at all. The UN’s vision of multiculturalism demands a common language (other than English, the language of the hated West) something along the lines of Esperanto, a nonsense language made up by globalists so that the whole world can be confused at the same time.
THE U.N. NEFARIOUS SCHEME
In the U.N.’s plan on globalization to promote a One World government, they are using the words “globalization and multiculturalism” to disguise a plan to destroy the Western Nations of the world and become the New World Order on the scale of what was envisioned back in the time of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. If you have studied the effects of Agenda 21 that has morphed into Sustainable Development and Agenda 2030 proposed by this international body of misfits, it is designed for all people and nations to become one with a common language and claims of a utopian society, but in reality, it is designed to control every human being on this planet in their buying and selling, their movements, and even their reproduction rates to a “sustainable level” to guard the environment and save the planet. What does that mean? It means genocide of all non-essential individuals that do not contribute to the well-being of the collective society. Meaning the old, the disabled, the mentally challenged, and the inferior races. It is the plan of the Third Reich of Hitler on steroids.
History has a habit of repeating itself, and according to the Bible, the city of Babel on the plains of Shinar was both globalized and was multicultural, in that everybody followed the same leader (can you say Anti-Christ?) and shared the same culture. (Can you say, “Mark of the Beast”)
In Genesis chapter 11, gives us a glimpse of both who is behind this globalization/multiculturalism and what its purpose really is.
First, Scripture tells us, “And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.” It is worthy of note that in the EU’s early days, its promotional literature outlined its early goal of ‘reversing the Babel Effect.’
This seems ironic, but fascinating as the EU is officially a godless state, but on the other hand, its promotional literature openly mirrors the Bible’s story in both its application and its intent.
By application, the residents of Babel, under the sole dictatorship of Nimrod, attempted to circumvent God’s judgment by building a tower ‘whose top may reach to heaven’ as a refuge — should God again judge the world by flood.
“And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” (Genesis 11:6)
God was hardly afraid that mankind would challenge His Authority. Rather, He knew they would try and what the solution to such a rebellion would result in. It will result in the whole world being under the sway of the coming Anti-Christ dictatorship. Nimrod and by extension, the Anti-Christ attempts to stand in place of God and the “protector” of the human race. Both men of history of mankind, past and future, want to take the place of God, demanding worship as if they were God. This is the rebellion that God was aware that would happen, if left unchecked.
God intervened by His will, in the historical example of the tower of Babel and confused the languages of those who were in rebellion to His command to scatter and repopulate the earth, and were making themselves a god, in Almighty God’s place.
But God doesn’t intervene in the Tribulation period to save mankind from himself, the way He did at Babel. At the tower of Babel in Nimrod’s time, Jesus had not been crucified on the cross for a choice between good and evil, in shedding His own blood for the payment of mankind’s sin. Today, the cross and its provision of forgiveness of sin by mercy and grace is in place, and God will allow men to reverse the “Babel effect” and let human nature run its course.
The end result will be the same as it would have been at Babel, had God not intervened early and human history would have been cut short on the plains of Shinar.
Having allowed mankind one last, unimpeded effort at rebellion against His Authority, the Bible says that during the Tribulation the armies of the world will gather for a final battle on the plains of Megiddo during which they will turn their weapons of war against the Creator of the Universe Himself.
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. . . . And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. . . . And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His Mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.” (Revelation 19:11,19, 21)
What does reversing the Babel Effect mean? The depravity of mankind virtually SCREAMS “rebellion” while the biblical imagery makes it clear that it is deliberate, it is calculated and it is directed against the God of the Bible. I have people who argue about the coming tribulation and the end of the age, but if what is coming upon the earth is not clear to them and what end time prophecy is addressed to, no amount of logical or scripture persuasion will convince the reprobate mind to understand what God is saying is coming upon the earth. We have signs and seasons and the clear words found in your Bible, that indeed we are living in end of the age of mankind’s rule upon this earth.
I call it “willful ignorance” that is a willful and deliberate choice NOT to believe the truth to avoid the conflict of conscience that accepting the truth would demand.
If you go to any Christian forum, you will find many debaters that infiltrate the discussion and try to seize on any inconsistency in the scriptural proof found in God’s Word. There is no inconsistency, but in their own minds, to confirm their chosen prospective of self-denial and go away comfortable in their unbelief.
If anyone of us look closely at our environment, either politically, physically and most assuredly spiritually, we can see an evil taking over the affairs of this world and its population of earth dwellers.
It is the phenomenon described by the Apostle Paul which comes to fruition following the Rapture, but we can already see it coming together in its final form on this side of the Tribulation Period.
6 “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2nd Thessalonians 2:6-10)
The Anti-Christ is coming and he is standing just off the stage of this world and it not in the spotlight, just yet. But Paul writes when this final “Nimrod” sets up his kingdom of this coming New World Order, he will have the enthusiastic cooperation of the whole world who are ignorant of the dangers of globalization and multiculturalism, blissfully unaware of the demonic deception foisted upon them.
11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12)
The mystery of iniquity is already at work, and so is the BIG LIE. But still there are scoffers, just as the Apostle Peter wrote about:
“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (2ndPeter 3:4)
Peter makes it plain that the reason for their unbelief is a willing ignorance born out of their lust for the things of the world and their choice NOT to believe, no matter how strong the evidence.
Peter cites the historical precedent that, several generations later, led to Nimrod’s aborted Tower of Babel in the first place, bringing this generation’s effort to undo the Babel Effect full circle:
“For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.”(2nd Peter 3:6)
THE NEW WORLD ORDER IS ON THE HORIZON
I find it amazing and it has to be God’s timing, that this lurch forward to the New World Order has been put on hold. Note the news that our current POTUS has pulled the USA from the Paris accord that the last POTUS, I call the “idiot in chief” got us into. Climate change is a bizarre attempt to take the bogus claim of man-made climate change and turn it into a NEW WORLD ORDER called Sustainable Development, with all nations being equal and the destruction of the western way of life, that the world is jealous of and desires our downfall.
OH, it will come, but we pray we have been given a reprieve, for a time, from the evil desires of One World Government proponents that are headed by the richest and most powerful individuals in the world. Some call them Illuminati, or Bilderberg Groups that have globalist visions of grandeur to their demonic plans for the world’s utopian society. When will it come? I make a prediction, and it’s set in stone.
THE RISE OF THE ANTI-CHRIST
In Revelation, we see in the throne of God, a scroll handed to the Lamb of God, who opens each seal. Thus begins the wrath of Almighty God upon the earth.
“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” (Revelation 6:1-2)
In the following verses, each horse of the four horseman of the apocalypse rides bringing destruction upon the earth. This is the Wrath of God. Some will in error, postulate that this is the doing of Satan and it is his wrath upon the earth. But note who is opening the seals of the scroll? It is the Lamb of God, Jesus the Christ, who makes these events happen. He uses each of these horses’ riders to enact judgment upon this rebellious earth, much as He used men to bring Israel to judgment by using Assyria and Babylon to bring justice to those who have forsaken Him. God will use Satan and the evil intent of men’s heart to begin His act of judgment and wrath upon the earth.
As chapter 6 unfolds, the men of the earth know who is bringing judgment upon them.
15 “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:15-17)
There is NO question in their minds, who is responsible for this destruction. God’s wrath has begun and as the chapter continues, the judgment only gets worse by each chapter. This New World Order is going to be judged and those who follow the modern “NIMROD” the Anti-Christ will be found doomed in their rebellion. Two things will happen in this coming horror that comes upon the earth.
-Israel will be refined as silver is refined in the furnace. (Malachi 3:3)
-all rebellion upon this earth will be extinguished.
“Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind; it will fall violently on the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord will not return until He has done it, and until He has performed the intents of His heart. In the latter days you will consider it.” (Jeremiah 30:23-24)
19 “And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlong” (Revelation 14:19-20)
Can you imagine this amount of blood that covers the whole valley of Megiddo for 25 miles or so, as deep as the bridle of a horse?? That’s called righteous indignation, and total slaughter of those in rebellion.
This is the final judgement on this demonic “New World Order” when God will pass His fiery indignation upon those who have followed this new Nimrod, the Anti-Christ.
9 “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”(Revelation 14:9-11)
A LIFE LINE IS THROWN TO US IN THIS AGE OF GRACE
Make no mistake, what I have written and confirmed from the pages of God’s Word will definitely come to pass. This world will be judged. This NEW WORLD ORDER will be decimated and those who follow this modern Nimrod, this last dictator of the world. He that demands worship of himself. Those that do will be thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with sulfur and brimstone. From this judgment there is no escape, forever and ever. Those who pass from this Age of Grace, while the Holy Spirit is still convicting men of their sins, into the Age of the Law, the time of Jacob’s trouble, known as the Tribulation, and then the Great Tribulation will have their metal tested like they have been tested before. In all likelihood, many will succumb to staying alive for even a short while, and worship this demonic despot to their own destruction. Those who don’t will be martyrs for the cause of Christ, by not taking the “mark of the Beast”. How can I give you the vision of what a horrible, devastating time this period will be to all human beings alive that are so unfortunate to have to endure such a time that Jesus said:
“21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22, And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22)
I can only paint you a word picture, but the reality of this time will be 1000 times worse than I can explain. But there is a lifeline that is still in force right now, as this very moment:
“15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:15-18)
“9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9)
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. “ (John 14:6)
Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life? Jesus is the man/God who died on a cross for you, and for me, so that we would not have to experience this coming time of extreme death and suffering. Repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart and life, and make Him Lord with what life we have left upon this earth. Make your decision for Jesus Christ, or be ready for the destruction that will be found in the NEW WORLD ORDER.

At least for a moment Shamim Mahmood sees hope at the end of the tunnel in Pakistan’s celebration of the United Nations’ International Human Rights Day. Shamim’s observations are below.
Islamabad (Shamim Masih): Since assuming his office as Minister for Human Rights in May 2016, SenatorKamran Michael has taken historic measures to ensure protection of basic human rights of common citizens, with a specific focus on the delivery of rights for children, women, marginalized groups and religious and ethnic minority groups in across country.
Earlier, when this government took rule in 2013, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had appointed Kamran Michael as Minister for Ports and Shipping. However, the responsibilities of Senator Kamran were switched to Human Rights keeping in view his tremendous performance as Minister for Human Rights Punjab. Following taking charge of his new assignment, Kamran Michael has worked day and night to ensure immediate redressal of rights to all minority groups in Pakistan. In this regard, the minister visited various areas of the country to ensure rights to children, women and minorities including prisoners across the country.
The biggest contribution of the federal minister is various laws enacted or tabled in the Parliament to protect minorities’ rights, including Anti-Rape, Honor Killing, Criminal Bill Amendment Act 2016, Hindu Marriage Act, Christian Marriage and Divorce Bill, Child and Women Protection Bill, etc. Serious attention has been given by the honorable minister for implementation of Action Plan on Human Rights approved by the Prime Minister during 2016. A task force under the chairmanship of Senator Kamran Michael has been established to expedite the implementation by federal and provincial functions.
In this regard, the minister visited Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Center for Women, and ordered the improvement of basic needs to the victim children, women and groups arriving to seek assistance at the center. He also directed immediate financial and legal support to the victims of domestic violence and provision of immediate security, shelter, food, advocacy and counseling to the victims.
Under the objective of protection and promotion of human rights coupled with attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) [Blog Editor: “SDGs” are a part of the UN Agenda 2030 globalist paradigm. I am not a big fan of anything coming from the UN and this especially the case of Agenda 2030. It is my opinion this UN Agenda threatens the sovereignty and Constitution of the USA. ON THE OTHER HAND, at least portions of Agenda 2030 can actually be productive for a nation such as Pakistan in providing hope toward upward mobility for downtrodden minorities.], the minister directed to improve the Toll Free Helpline 1099 through which the victims could seek all sorts of assistance free of cost.
In compliance of the minister’s directive, now the victims from across the country can register their complaints and seek assistance on the toll free helpline 1099. This will be available 24/7 very soon. Moreover, other than shelter and food, the complainants can also get legal advice from experts on human rights violations and quick relief is provided to them, their families and other vulnerable segments of the society. The Helpline received 41,510 complaints during the year 2016 while 4969 calls were received for general information and 3,073 victims were provided legal advice and 33,089 were irrelevant/unnecessary calls.
To protect the human rights at grass roots level, the federal minister has directed to establish Human Rights Committees at the district levels. The district level committees would be working in collaboration with the local government under the supervision of Federal Ministry for Human Rights to take immediate action on receiving complaints of violation of human rights.
In appreciation of the human rights activists, the ministry of the human rights organized a Human Rights Award ceremony on the occasion of Human Rights Day December 10, 2016 at Awan-e-Saddar where forty activists were given awards for their contributions for human rights by the President of Pakistan.
Promoting the basic rights and interfaith harmony, Ministry of Human Rights in collaboration of Ministry of Railway also launched a Christmas Peace Train. The Ministry of Human Rights also organized Sports Festival for Minorities. The Christmas Peace Train successfully completed its journey from Peshawar to Karachi starting from December 22, 2016 to January 05, 2017. The train was warmly welcomed by people at large at different stations of the country. The World and European Union has appreciated this idea.
Human Rights Ministry has also launched the Human Rights Song, “Rooti Ankh K Anso Ponchein” to promote the humanity. Famous classical singer Shafaqat Salamat and the Federal Minister for Human Rights, Senator Kamran Michael has sung this song.
