A Globalist Anti-American Scheme


If you read my blog it is no secret I am a huge President Trump supporter and regard the leadership of the Democratic Party to be witting and maybe in some cases (though can’t think of any) unwitting transform-America Marxists. BUT I am not a registered Republican.

 

Why?

 

After President Reagan, GOP Presidents and nominees for President have been largely a disappointment to the Originalism of America’s Founding principles (that Dems so often LIE to defend). After McCain and Romney in varying degrees proved to be Republicans in Name Only (aka not loyal to Conservative Americans) losing to an obvious Marxist liar in Barack Hussein Obama (Old SlantRight blog posts on BHO Marxism: HERE, HERE, HERE & HERE) – more race-baiter than friend of Black-Americans, I became a registered Independent. My only regret with that move is in my State that means I cannot participate in Primary elections.

 

As you will recall or discover below, one of President Trump’s campaign issues for 2016 was an anti-NAFTA and anti-TPP stand as a bad deal. So, I’m a bit astounded to-date he is supportive of the equally egregious USMCA globalist/sovereignty robbing deal being pushed seemingly by equal manners in the GOP, the Dems and unsurprisingly by the MSM. Justin Smith exposes a glaringly BAD DEAL.

President Trump Has Been Duped

President Donald J. Trump, “the Great Negotiator”, is touting the worse “trade agreement” in U.S. history, after he and Democrats reached an agreement on the ** United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement [aka USMCA] on December 10th 2019, and if this globalist mess is the best he can do, something is dreadfully wrong within his administration. This agreement is the antithesis of America First and merges the worse parts of NAFTA and the Trans-Pacific Partnership [aka TPP] that was rejected in 2017, and President Trump has either inadvertently taken his eye off the process, as the globalist wolves entered the hen-house, or he is a willing and complicit actor in a process that destroys U.S. sovereignty.

 

In a morning tweet, on December 10th, President Trump hailed the prospect of completing one more campaign promise: “America’s great USMCA Trade Bill is looking good.”

 

Robert Lighthizer, the chief trade official leading negotiations for the U.S., stated: “We have created a deal that will benefit American workers, farmers, and ranchers for years to come. This will be the model for American trade deals going forward.”

 

This egregious piece of legislation is set to go to a vote on Thursday December 19th in the House of Representatives, unless something cancels the vote, according to one staffer in Representative Mark Green’s office, and it more than likely will pass, since, as of this writing, even some Republicans-In-Name-Only, such as Congressman Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN) — Tennessee 3rd District, are currently set to vote in favor of its passage. As an aside, I made sure to tell Rep. Fleischmann’s staffer that I would in fact travel to his area and work against him, if he votes for this deeply flawed, anti-American piece of ill-conceived crap.

 

Americans have continuously been told that this renegotiated deal is all about trade and improving life for all North Americans and Mexicans, but it is more than clear that it is really about control. This “deal” is about the total control of all things and all people that fall under its jurisdiction.

 

A page by page comparison of the 2325 page USMCA and the TPP reveals an extensive overlap. Nearly all the exact same problems inherent in the TPP also are found in the USMCA, in the manifest erosion of national sovereignty, the unrestricted movement of foreign nationals and the de facto facilitation of illegal immigration, collective bargaining for workers and measures to combat climate change.

 

According to ** this study — How much of the Transpacific Partnership is in the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement? (June 26th 2019) — conducted by researchers from the University at Ottawa, fifty-seven percent of the text of the USMCA is copied from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a treaty repeatedly described as a “horrible deal” by President Trump. Twenty-nine out of thirty chapters have equivalents in the USMCA and seventy-two percent of the matched USMCA chapters are found in both agreements. Many of the chapter titles are identical and so too are the various articles and clauses they each contain. And upon deep analysis, the textual similarity between the USMCA and the TPP reveal that have a great deal in common; they are of the same generation of treaties, and they do not mark a fundamental rupture in U.S. practices, despite President Trump’s rhetoric.

 

Within days of the release of the first text of the USMCA, Richard Haass, a globalist proponent of the New World Order and president of the Council on Foreign Relations, praised the USMCA due to its alignment with the TPP. According to Haass, “USMCA is NAFTA plus TPP plus a few tweaks”.

 

Take an in depth look at the agreement, and one will discover Chapter 30 establishes a new governing bureaucracy under a Free Trade Commission of unelected and unaccountable men and women overseeing various lower regional committees. Just as initially set forth in the TPP Commission, the Free Trade Commission can make changes to the USMCA without the consent of Congress, and this fact, in and of itself, completely undermines Article I Section 8 of the Constitution and Congressional authority and power to regulate trade with foreign nations.

 

The United States already has enough problems with an illegal alien invasion of between 22 to 40 million illegals without compounding it by relinquishing any sovereignty and decision making in this regard to an unelected Commission of the USMCA, which very well could be the consequence, if this treaty is ratified by the Senate, after the House passes it. Illegal immigration is certain to be further facilitated by Article 23.8 (Chapter 23) on Migrant Workers and a requirement to “ensure that migrant workers are protected under its (each respective nation’s) labor laws, whether they are nationals or non-nationals” (read “illegal aliens” and “foreign nationals”). This would serve to circumvent any determinations by our Congress and federal judiciary regarding the arrival of caravans of illegal aliens from Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador, as well as a final determination on DACA. And making it plain in language identical to language in the TPP, Article 15.5 of the USMCA states: “No party shall adopt or maintain … a measure that … imposes a limitation on … the total number of natural persons that may be employed in a particular financial service sector or that a financial institution or cross-border service supplier may employ … in the form of numerical quotas or the requirement of an economic needs test.” This opens the door for any number of people to be brought across the border for any reason deemed necessary by one or more Parties involved, flooding America with radical Central American socialists.

Staying true to other globalist anti-American schemes, the USMCA also forces signatories to submit to international concerns, such as the International Labor Organization, the World Trade Organization and United Nations mandates like the Law of the Sea, that the United States refused to ratify in 1982, along with “sustainable development” — mentioned no less than nine times in the chapter on the environment — and International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives directives and edicts, that many of the U.S. states have fought to eradicate over the past decade, after experiencing years of their oppressive nature. Although the original NAFTA agreement did not contain any directive on the environment in 1994, the USMCA contains a thirty pages in Chapter 24 dedicated to the environment, that mentions “sustainable development” nine times. Page two of this chapter states: “The Parties recognize that a healthy environment is an integral element of sustainable development and recognize the contribution that trade makes to sustainable development.” Other similar points address “sustainable fisheries” and the “sustainable use of biodiversity”, both of which are aligned with and straight from the United Nation’s Agenda 2030; and, it also contains the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation among the Governments of the United States, Canada and the United Mexican States, that has a subsidiary called the Commission for Environmental Cooperation, quite like a supra-EPA for all of North America.

 

The purpose of the USMCA’s environment chapter, according to Article 24.2, is as follows [page 2 of PDF]: ” … to promote mutually supportive trade and environmental policies and practices; promote high levels of environmental protection and effective enforcement of environmental laws; and enhance the capacities of the Parties to address trade-related environmental issues, including through cooperation, in furtherance of sustainable development.”

 

So, the USMCA is essentially calling for the regulation and control over all the waters, lands and organisms across three countries, in much the same way President Obama sought to exert complete control over America through the Water Rules for the United States EPA regulation. The USMCA would strip the United States of control in these areas, through its control over three countries and multi-layers of government overseen and directed by regional government entities. This would effectively put all American lives — where they live, how they live and what jobs they may perform in any given region — in the hands of unelected bureaucrats, with little to no real oversight whatsoever.

 

As far back as the 1980s, President Ronald Reagan was intelligent enough and prescient to recognize the Law of the Sea Treaty as a thinly veiled attempt to force a lurch towards world government and the New World Order later described in glowing terms by President George H.W. Bush, a globalist “Republican”, and so Reagan refused to sign it, after Jeanne Kirkpatrick, U.S. Ambassador to the UN from 1981 to 1985, testified before the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, in fierce opposition to its ratification. And although Pres. Bush Jr urged its ratification in 2007 and it was once again supported in 2012 by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as of 2019, the U.S. Senate has still refused to ratify the UN convention.

 

However, in the USMCA’s Chapter 24, [Scroll to] Article 24.18, “Sustainable Fisheries Management”, the United States, Canada and Mexico are required to adhere to the Law of the Sea Treaty in regards to managing their fishing industries. In other words, the United States will essentially surrender its sovereignty over all its waterways and miles of coastal oceans to the jurisdiction of UN international law, which would be a national security nightmare on too many levels possible to entertain here, all in the name of protecting fish and marine life.

All of this opens a path towards a North American Union, as the USMCA seeks to merge the economies of these three countries into one. Think of it as similar to the authoritarian European Union on steroids, dashing madly along and trampling on each and every inalienable right and each item in our U.S. Bill of Rights along the way.

 

Is it any wonder that the anti-American Travelers, the Communists and the New World Order globalists are so ecstatic over the creation of this USMCA “New Deal”, the old made new?

 

According to the Huffington Post, “At least half of the men and women standing behind Trump during his Rose Garden ceremony praising the new deal were the same career service staff who negotiated nearly identical provisions in TPP, which Trump had railed against.” Trevor Kincaid, one of the group and the lead negotiator for TPP, observed, “It’s really the same with a new name.”

 

Doesn’t most of America remember just how bad TPP was proven to be? Don’t all of You recall how hard freedom loving Americans fought to defeat TPP?

 

All America must flood the White House and Congress with calls and letters demanding this treaty be completely eradicated and thrown in the trash where it belongs. Remind Trump how he felt about the TPP when he rejected it by executive order in 2017, and explain to him how disastrous the USMCA will be in practice. If he and representatives and senators look at this honestly with America’s best interests at heart, they will all take immediate action to terminate this ill-founded evil machination, designed by men who would destroy America.

 

Lincoln Bloomfield, a longtime State Department bureaucrat and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, wrote a report in 1962, that was financed by the State Department. His report proposed that “ever-larger units evolve through customs unions, confederation, regionalism, etc., until ultimately the larger units coalesce under a global umbrella. America is now witnessing the culmination of those globalists’ efforts coming to fruition through the completion of one segment of the “global umbrella” — a globalist objective — by way of the USMCA.

 

Those who created the USMCA have no respect for U.S. sovereignty and the Constitution, no true love for America and no honor, and more than likely, President Trump has been duped by them, since no evidence exists that shows the President has ever supported globalism. More than that, President Trump failed to understand that the management of the entire United States is guided by approximately five pages and a single paged Bill of Rights, rather than over 2000 pages, or that a real free trade agreement keeping with American principles of Liberty would be noted for its absence of rules on trade; and, while it may be hard to move the President to disavow and kill this miserable treaty, he will do it and he must, if he truly decries world government and does not wish to be known as the progenitor of “the worst agreement ever negotiated”, akin to the one-worlders and the likes of the Rockefellers and Soros; and in the process, let us place our government back in the hands of “We the People” in 2020, as we hold people and organizations accountable for moving in such a reprehensible, ignoble manner to end our Republic and destroy our Constitution in pursuit of Marxist-Leninism and a global government, actions that most freedom and liberty loving Americans use to call treason.

In case you were unaware, the online publication BuzzFeed is a lying Left-Wing Internet rag hugely responsible for spreading Leftist propaganda, disinformation, misinformation and even tipping toward downright lies. In essence BuzzFeed is the Prince of notorious Fake News. Of most infamy is the publication of the discredited Steele Dossier used as a Dem pretext to exact a silent coup against President Trump via the mechanizations of a Left-dominated Federal bureaucracy in the DOJ and various Intelligence Agencies.

 

Looking at BuzzFeed’s infamous notoriety for Leftist hit pieces, Mark Alexander in his Thursday column openly wonders about Buzzfeed’s interest in the operation The Patriot Post.

Sometimes I am able to plan a topic more than 48 hours ahead of my deadline. This started as one of those weeks. But as with the best-laid plans, sometimes it’s necessary to alter them. (I’ll say a bit more on that original topic at the end of this column.)

 

The Patriot Post has become the target of a thinly veiled effort to undermine the reach of our conservative voice. That effort was launched by one of the biggest entertainment/news tabloids on the Web, BuzzFeed, with a review claiming that we’re “the biggest mystery in conservative media” and raising questions about the team “behind one of the oldest conservative” online news organizations.

 

BuzzFeed’s media editor, its resident expert on “fake news” (I know, the irony is rich), has used that platform for his inquiry. When a Leftmedia outlet with a budget hundreds of times the size of our small grassroots organization targets us — a “David versus Goliath” contest, if you will — it creates a quandary.

 

We have a longstanding Patriot Post policy: “Don’t swap spit with a jackass.” But when the accuser has a huge platform, as one of our editors noted, “to leave misinformation uncontested is tantamount to suggesting that it’s true.” And while it’s likely that none of you, our readers, are even aware of the BuzzFeed accusations, rebut we must.

 

Sometimes criticism is intended to be constructive.

 

Last week, for example, I wrote about the rise of a new genre of digital-media arbiters of truth, in which I mentioned a new media accountability effort, NewsGuard, and explained how it worked. I further noted that whenever humans render opinions about the world around them, they inevitably bring a bias to that perspective.

 

However, undergoing NewsGuard’s process of evaluation was helpful to our team. It employs a battalion of professional journalists, which we have never claimed to be, and their questions and suggestions helped us improve what we do.

 

On the other hand, sometimes criticism is intended to be destructive. With BuzzFeed, and the leftist academic social-media “expert” who pointed them at us with a clear agenda, their intent was something other than constructive.

 

The inquiries about The Patriot Post started with BuzzFeed’s “fake news expert,” Toronto-based Media Editor Craig Silverman. He seems like a decent person whose left-of-center bias is mostly the byproduct of being caught in a Leftmedia echo chamber.

 

The timing of Silverman’s appointment to his current position is ironic, as it came just before BuzzFeed’s Leftmedia hacks published the infamous fake “Russian Dossier,” a completely fabricated opposition-research document funded by the Democrat Party and Hillary Clinton’s campaign. That provided the fodder that mainstream-media outlets like CNN and MSNBC needed to promote as the basis for the Democrat/MSM propaganda machine’s bogus two-year Trump/Russia collusion investigation, a ruse to obstruct Trump’s MAGA agenda.

 

Suffice it to say that the fake dossier has since been completely debunked, but not before BuzzFeed issued yet another bombshell fabrication, prompting special prosecutor Robert Mueller to take the unusual step of calling out the BuzzFeed report as fake news. Buzzfeed will never shed the ethical malpractice for this partisan “fake news” charades. (See “Beyond BuzzFeed: The 10 Worst, Most Embarrassing U.S. Media Failures on the Trump-Russia Story.”)

 

For his part, Silverman now distances himself from the term “fake news,” because Donald Trump has successfully hung that moniker where it belongs: around the necks of the Leftmedia. And while it’s entirely possible that Silverman really wants to eradicate the purveyors of misinformation, he’s leading that charge from one of the most prolific propagators of misinformation on the Web.

 

As you may know, BuzzFeed is having serious problems.

 

Founded in 2006 by Left Coast native Jonah Peretti, the company had over $300 million in revenues in 2018. Notably, $84 million of that was from Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Netflix, and yet, according to The New York Times, “the company still loses money.” Amid a decline in traffic, BuzzFeed is laying off hundreds of its news staff because, as Silverman told me, the profit is on the entertainment side.

 

As for BuzzFeed’s collaboration with Facebook, it is notable that the latter was just issued a $5 BILLION fine for breaches of privacy, which is why nobody should trust such platforms with any personal information.

 

When he inquired about The Patriot Post’s unusual model of accepting no advertising, Silverman said, “Refusing ads is a notable policy given that email lists are huge moneymakers … and The Patriot Post’s has been built up over more than 20 years.”

 

As for our principled reasoning for refusing advertising, I referred him to our About page, which explains, “Our website pages and emails are certified ‘Ad Free.’ Because we do not depend on a single penny of ad revenue, we focus solely on providing you content that is actually newsworthy — worthy of your time — rather than constantly churning the ubiquitous topics which now dominate the Leftmedia’s relentless 24/7 recycled spin.” Additionally, “We are not sustained by any political, special interest, or parent organization, and we do not accept advertising to ensure our advocacy and editorial content is not restrained by commercial influence — as is the case with all mass media outlets. Our website and email editions are free of advertising clutter.”

 

Silverman actually lamented that BuzzFeed’s model is built on churning news to bait “viral” clicks and ad views to generate revenue. I appreciated his candor. (I would note that, unlike BuzzFeed, our unconventional model has kept us operating in the black since our first year on the Web — a decade before the advent of BuzzFeed and its brand of entertainment media.)

 

Regarding Silverman’s inquiry, one of his followers asked a good question: “What was the point … to inform us a conservative news platform uses pseudonyms and doesn’t accept ad revenue? Okay … thanks for the info?”

 

GRYGIEL AND WARREN CELEBRATING ‘GAY’ MARRIAGE

 

To help answer that question, I asked Silverman who first brought The Patriot Post to his attention and why. He responded, “Professor Jennifer Grygiel” of Syracuse University, a leftist colleague who “tracks partisan media” and “teaches a course about BuzzFeed. … I previously spoke to her class.” He said he promised to give her a byline if he published a story about The Patriot Post.

 

So this inquiry did not originate at BuzzFeed. It started when a hard-left LGBT activist, an assistant professor of communications from upstate New York, who promotes herself as a social-media expert, fed Silverman the story. He says it was because of our social-media growth. But there are thousands of social media pages that are growing, so why is Grygiel so interested in The Patriot Post, and how many others has Silverman written about?

 

A few weeks ago, there was a complaint lodged against our Facebook page about a meme, which correctly asserted that there are only two genders. This resulted in a takedown and penalty from Facebook. Suspiciously, following that complaint, Grygiel contacted Silverman.

 

Grygiel, who prefers the pronoun pseudonym “they,” identifies her areas of expertise as social media, memes, media regulation, police media, social justice, LGBTQ youth advocacy, race, and gender, but her specific expertise appears to be how to get social-media outlets to restrict content that doesn’t comport with her political and social views.

 

In short, Grygiel and her ilk are forming the new front against the First Amendment.

 

When I asked Silverman if he was aware of her political views, he responded. “I don’t know Grygiel’s political views.” Given their collaborative history, that reply seemed somewhat less than candid.

 

To be fair, though, I also asked him what his impression of The Patriot Post was, and he responded, “I looked at recent issues of the digest and found them to be filled with interesting information and commentary. … So when it comes to your core product my personal opinion [is that] it seems to be of pretty high quality.”

 

He and Grygiel clearly did, however, find other Patriot Post viral memes offensive: “One meme mocking vegans,” they (by which I actually mean the two of them) reported, “generated more than 2.9 million shares, reactions, and comments, and another chiding Parkland, Florida, shooting survivor David Hogg attracted more than 2.1 million engagements.”

 

Anti-Vegan – Anti-Hogg TPP Humor

 

My response? The vegan meme was intended as humor, but most Leftists are humorless. And let me state emphatically, the assertion that Hogg is a “shooting survivor” does a disservice to actual survivors, like my friend and Patriot Post writer Roger Helle, who, as a Marine in Vietnam, survived being blown up, shot on two different occasions, and bayoneted — three Purple Hearts. He, not Hogg, is a real “survivor.”

 

When I asked about the motive for and objective of his collaboration with Grygiel, Silverman insisted “straightforwardly there is no intent to reduce your publication’s reach or undermine you.” Their next move will establish if that is true.

 

Another major point of contention in Silverman’s inquiry was our writers’ and editors’ use of pseudonyms, the “Publius” model from The Federalist Papers. This is another unconventional practice, like not taking advertising, which he simply could not grasp.

 

I explained that, since our inception, as noted on our About page, “As was the case with The Federalist (Papers) in 1787, the premier resource for understanding the Liberty and Rule of Law enshrined in our Republic’s Constitution, and from which we derive much of our constitutionally constructionist editorial inspiration, The Patriot Post is published under the pseudonym ‘Publius,’ and many of our editors and advisors are listed likewise.”

 

I noted that as we’ve grown over the years, I began offering new grassroots contributors the opportunity to choose a pseudonym or use their legal name. Some have chosen the latter.

 

Based on his fascination with pseudonyms, I asked Silverman if he’d written about how his publication’s CEO had set up fake websites under the names of real people in order to slander them, including one that attacked Second Amendment advocate John Lott (which Peretti admitted in a legal settlement, including his apology).

 

Silverman responded, “I’m not familiar with the examples … you cited and couldn’t comment on them without more research.”

 

(OK, let me make The Patriot Post research easy for the leftist inquisitors: We are actually a Russian front operated by Markovich Alexanderovich. We set up shop two decades before Trump announced his 2016 candidacy, so we could ensure he would defeat Hillary Clinton.)

 

Another point regarding our decision not to promote personalities… President Ronald Reagan, on his Oval Office desk, kept a small engraved plaque with the words, “There is no limit to what a man can do … if he does not mind who gets the credit.” That simple axiom defined how Reagan conducted his presidency: It was about the ideas, not about him.

 

That same plaque sits in front of my office computer today — where it reminds me, it’s about Liberty, not about us. That’s the “Publius” model, the Reagan principle, and our practice. But again, the MSM self-promoters can’t begin to fathom that principle.

 

Silverman also asked if I would put him in touch with some of the conservative leaders who provided favorable comments about The Patriot Post in years past. I contacted them, and predictably, nobody expressed an interest in talking with anyone associated with BuzzFeed.

 

However, the most widely known of those who offered praise for The Patriot, responded, “They are relentless and use Gestapo tactics.” But these speech-suppression methods are more akin to Stalinist tactics, which are also the inspiration for the “antifa movement” — the self-styled anti-fascists who are actually fascists.

 

The effort of leftists to silence Christians and conservatives, especially grassroots Patriots who promote Liberty, is relentless.

 

But as another notable stalwart advised me to tell our team, “We’re all in this together. Onward!” And onward we go.

 

There was a surfeit of other “misinformation” and “contextual omissions and errors” in the BuzzFeed inquiry.

 

Update: Regarding the Silverman/Grygiel article, as one might expect from tabloid media, they doxed the location of our humble storefront, despite the fact (or because) they knew that created risks to our staff and their families. (They have since removed that information from the article.) They doxed the names of my family members even though they knew there were no financial or material connections with The Patriot Post. (While we know who the Silverman and Grygiel families are, mentioning them would be far beneath our ethical standards.) They implied that we had misused two short quotes about The Patriot Post obtained 15 years ago, but they did not contact the individuals who were quoted. And they implied that our use of pseudonyms is nefarious, despite the fact I have always been easily identifiable through public media interviews, which ironically, is how Silverman knew who to contact. Likewise, the ownership of our company, Publius Press, Inc., has always been a matter of public record. Again, the “Publius principle” has never been about not revealing individuals, but about not promoting individuals.

Among other wounded veterans helping with this effort were former AF Master Sgt. Israel Del Toro, and Medal of Honor recipient and former Marine Dakota Meyer.

A Former ‘Transgendered’ Man Tells the Truth


I’m a Conservative Christian with the bad habit of enjoying crime/mystery and medical dramas on TV. (Please, a little mercy on the “you’re polluting your brain with sinful entertainment.” I did say it was a bad habit.)

 

I have noticed a sad trend that TV entertainment is reaching beyond the scenario of mystery solving or medical solving to propagandizing acceptance of counterculture social lifestyles as normal. No if-and-or-buts, counterculture social lifestyles are more often (conjecturing like probably 99%) are contrary to the Word of God from the Creator of all that exists. Where is Agatha Christie and Marcus Welby when you need them?

 

Which brings me to a bit of a book review, but more of a criticism of the manufactured idiocy of transgenderism. The book is Trans Life Survivors. The author is FORMER transgender Walt Heyer. 

 

The review is by Robin Smith writing at The Patriot Post. A quote from the Smith post that should get your attention that Mainstream Entertainment and Media will not share with you:

Just before Christmas, CNBC promoted via social media an “LBGTQ youth advocate” by featuring a video of a boy in a sequined outfit, a choker, loop earrings, lipstick, and eye makeup posing Liza Minnelli-like in a child’s play pit filled with multi-colored balls. The caption: “This 11-year-old drag kid is using his voice to encourage LGBTQ youth to be themselves.”

 

The exploitation of this child first occurred over the summer, when his parents were heralded as “progressive” and the timeline of Desmond Napoles’s gender dysphoria was noted to have begun before he was old enough to have such issues. This truly despicable treatment of a child’s broken identify is just one example of the Leftmedia’s deliberate role as a partner in the degradation of humanity in the culture war. In fact, it’s child abuse.

 

While media “journalists” scoff at the idea they’re propagating a narrative that gender-bending is just great, why is there so little coverage of the broken individuals who face regret for making “transitions” to their assumed gender?

 

Walt Heyer, who underwent gender-reassignment surgery from male to female and lived that way for a decade before having more surgery to become male again, has written his sixth book on the issue, Trans Life Survivors. In it, Heyer chronicles the stories of just 30 of the hundreds of individuals who’ve contacted him about having joined the “transmania,” each wanting to escape some conflict, loss, trauma, or personal void only to deeply regret their flawed method of dealing with these personal battles. Heyer’s books are among the few resources that speak plainly about the struggles with child abuse, mental illness, and an unsuccessful attempt to take life’s hardships and traumas and hope to wash them away by gender fluidity instead of getting needed help.

One of the most shocking is the story of “Blair,” who holds the Guinness World Record for sex-changes surgeries — 167 — to feed his need to feel more like a woman, despite his XY chromosomal biology, his anatomy, and hormones at birth all being male. His story proves that the industry of deception holding these sad individuals captive to a cultural lie is financially lucrative. It’s also sustained by intellectual “progressives” who are bending the norms of gender roles as part of breaking the patriarchal oppression of male dominance inflicted upon society. Or some such garbage.

 

Don’t think that transmania and gender dysphoria are rooted in more than confusion? Why is the attempted suicide rate for “transgendered” individuals greater than 40% when it’s 0.6% among the adult population at large, according to the Centers for Disease Control? Heyer has written extensively that so much of the “science” that supports sex reassignment is faulty at best and likely fraudulent in some areas. Citing the fact that “up to 90% of gender changers in studies cannot be located for follow-up,” Heyer confirms that the research is both qualitatively and quantitatively deficient and without credibility.

 

The “poster child” of the gender confused is Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner. Despite his wealth and success, his fame is no longer thanks to his world records, his Olympic gold medal as the decathlon champion, and “World’s Greatest Athlete” with his image on Wheaties boxes, Sports Illustrated covers, and TV fame. No, his celebrity status now is almost entirely because this father of six children and husband to three wives began his transition to female in 2015. Yet “Caitlyn” Jenner remains a man. All the surgeries, all the hormone injections, and all the pretense, the therapy, and the notoriety cannot change his chromosomal fingerprint.

 

In most adults, there are 20,000-23,000 genes. In each of these genes, there are 23 pairs of chromosomes, one set of chromosome[s] from the mother and one from the father. Twenty-two of these pairs are non-sex or autosomal chromosomes. The 23rd pair of chromosomes determines sex — a female is XX and a male is XY. When the genetic coding occurs, the mother contributes the X and the father contributes the Y if the child conceived is to be male. If the child is to be female, both the mother and father contribute an X chromosome. That can’t be changed with cosmetic surgery.

 

So the science says there is no such thing as a “transgender,” a sex-change surgery, or any such configuration. Instead, there’s a cultural battle that has created scarred individuals and casualties who are usually seeking authentic help and answers to problems that create this crisis of identity. Heyer’s book offers real truth, and, we hope, aids others in finding a better path forward.

Ted Cruz originally favored TPP, but he has seen the light of his corrupt GOP Leadership RINOs pushing backroom deals. NOW Senator Cruz opposes this threat to our sovereignty, Constitution and immigration laws.

Apparently journalist political wags predict TPP to pass an up or down vote on the Senate floor today-Wednesday. As I am writing this it is about 4:53 PM I have discovered TPP has passed the Senate; thus thanks to the GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker John Boehner TPP advances to President Barack Hussein Obama’s desk for signature:

The Senate on Wednesday cleared legislation that will strengthen President Barack Obama’s power to negotiate a Pacific trade deal, ending a weekslong struggle to lift the measure out of the political quicksand that repeatedly came close to trapping it in both chambers.

The legislation, passed 60-38, will give Mr. Obama “fast track” authority that allows him to submit trade deals to Congress for an up-or-down vote without amendments. Negotiators have said that process is crucial to completing the 12-nation trade deal with countries around the Pacific Ocean, known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Already approved by the House, the bill now heads to the White House for Mr. Obama’s signature. Its passage delivers a rare legislative victory for the second-term president whose agenda has largely stalled in a Congress now fully controlled by Republicans.

Wednesday’s vote capped a fitful campaign that joined the White House, top GOP leaders and centrist Democrats to push through Congress legislation that both ends of the political spectrum opposed. Liberals viewed expanded trade as detrimental to U.S. jobs, while conservative members didn’t want to expand Mr. Obama’s authority. Senator Cruz indicated he changed his mind from supporting fast tracking TPP/TPA finally becoming cognizant of Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell lies in secretive backroom deals. Especially pertaining to immigration. This would mean he was one of 38 nays in the up and down vote taken today on TPA out 60 treasonous yeas.

It is too late to pressure your Senator about the outcome which gives Obama near dictatorial powers in trade agreements that will further “fundamental transformation” of America agenda, it appears that the 2016 election cycle will be America’s last chance to rid the USA of self-deluded Democrats and RINO/Establishment Republicans. If you have a Republican as your Representative or Senator who claims a Conservative pedigree yet voted a “yea” for TPP/TPA and associated acronyms deleterious to an Original Intent Constitutional government, that Republican is either lying or self-deceived. Get rid of that Republican in the Primaries and of course the Democrat in the General Election.

A successful Democrat and GOP Establishment election in 2016 could represent the last nails in the coffin containing the Constitutions intended Liberty and Freedom.

TED CRUZ: OBAMATRADE ENMESHED IN CORRUPT, BACKROOM DEALINGS

In an exclusive at Breitbart, Ted Cruz writes today of the corrupt back room dealings and changes to TPA since he initially voted for the bill in the Senate.

In his article, Cruz states that in general, he “believes that free trade is good for America, but regarding TPA, Congress has become enmeshed in corrupt Washington back room deal-making. He also writes that he has “serious concerns that it would open up the potential for sweeping changes in our laws that trade agreements typically do not include.”

Cruz goes further to write:

“Since the Senate first voted on TPA, there have been two material changes.”

“First, WikiLeaks subsequently revealed new troubling information regarding the Trade in Services Agreement, or TiSA, one of the trade deals being negotiated by Obama.”

“Despite the administration’s public assurances that it was not negotiating on immigration, several chapters of the TiSA draft posted online explicitly contained potential changes in federal immigration law. TPA would cover TiSA, and therefore these changes would presumably be subject to be fast-track.”

Cruz says that when TPA last came up for a vote in the Senate, both he and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) introduced amendments that would have barred fast-track treatment for any trade agreement that attempted to impact immigration law, but two other Republican senators objected, and thus they were both denied votes on their amendments. He goes on:

“At the time that Sessions and I introduced our amendments, many said our fears were unfounded. But now we have far more reason to be concerned.”

“Second, TPA’s progress through the House and Senate appears to have been made possible by secret deals between Republican Leadership and the Democrats.”

Cruz explains that TPA was blocked by a group of senators led by Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), “both of whom were conditioning their support on the unrelated objective of reauthorizing the Export-Import Bank.” Said Cruz:

“The Ex-Im Bank is a classic example of corporate welfare. It is crony capitalism at its worst, with U.S. taxpayers guaranteeing billions of dollars in loans for sketchy buyers in foreign nations. Ex-Im is scheduled to wind down on June 30. But powerful lobbyists in Washington want to keep the money flowing.”

Cruz suspected that Republican Leadership had promised supporters of Ex-Im a vote to reauthorize the bank before it winds down. When he asked Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) what precise deal had been cut to pass TPA, McConnell stated me “that there was no deal whatsoever.”

Taking McConnell at his word that there was no deal on Ex-Im, Cruz voted yes on TPA.

When the vote went to the House, Democrats opposed TPA en masse. Boehner then cut a deal with Democrats and “punished conservatives, wrongly stripping of one of his subcommittee chairmanship, and reportedly threatening to strip other conservatives of their chairmanships as well”.

Why does Republican Leadership always give in to the Democrats? Why does Leadership always disregard the promises made to the conservative grassroots?

Cruz finishes his article, writing:

Enough is enough. I cannot vote for TPA unless McConnell and Boehner both commit publicly to allow the Ex-Im Bank to expire—and stay expired. And, Congress must also pass the Cruz-Sessions amendments to TPA to ensure that no trade agreement can try to back-door changes to our immigration laws. Otherwise, I will have no choice but vote no.

There’s too much corporate welfare, too much cronyism and corrupt dealmaking, by the Washington cartel. For too long, career politicians in both parties have supported government of the lobbyist, by the lobbyist, and for the lobbyist – at the expense of the taxpayers. It’s a time for truth. And a time to honor our commitments to the voters.

Conservatives rightly do not trust President Obama. With a deal this big, kept out of the public eye, and supported by Obama and traitorous Republican leadership in both chambers, we smell a rat. Thankfully Cruz has seen the light.

UPDATE: Despite Cruz’ change of mind regarding Obamatrade, a 60-37 motion on Tuesday in the Senate to end debate on TPA sets up a vote for final passage on Wednesday. If the Senate approves fast-track or trade promotion authority (TPA), it would then be sent to Obama’s desk to become law.

Justin Smith details how Obama’s Secret negotiations involving TPA and TiSA will undermine American sovereignty and rend Congress impotent on Immigration Policy that disfavors American employment in our own homeland. Consider this quote before reading Justin’s exposé:

It should be noted that much of the text is a proposed draft for negotiation, and within the text, numerous parts of specific provisions are bracketed to denote which countries support or oppose particular sections or language within sections. But the thrust of the text in the annex is clear. For example, Article 4 is about the schedules (i.e., lists) of commitments that countries will have to put together regarding the “Entry and Temporary Stay of Natural Persons,” and a proposed version of Article 4, Section 2 would prohibit member states from “maintain[ing] or adopt[ing] Economic Needs Tests, including labor market tests, as a requirement for a visa or work permit” in the sectors where commitments are made. (In other words, U.S. laws or regulations limiting guest workers only to jobs where no U.S. workers were available would violate the terms of the treaty.)

TiSA has been written in secret by and for major corporations that will benefit greatly if it becomes law. If the House of Representatives grants the Obama administration the fast-track trade promotion authority it seeks, the authority will be valid for six years, which means TiSA (like TPP) would also get an up-or-down vote in Congress without any amendments—making it very likely to pass and become law without the necessary democratic deliberations on immigration that such major changes should have. The leaked TiSA text makes it clear that contrary to the claims by proponents of fast-track trade promotion authority, the reality is that those voting for fast track are ceding key powers to make immigration law and policy to an unelected group of corporations and foreign governments. Optimism and Sheer Blind Stupidity

America is being sold out, and corporate interests are being placed above the interests of the American people, through the passage of Trade Promotion Authority and the subsequent scheduled anti-American trade “deals” already under final preparations towards a vote, like the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Trade in Services Agreement. She is being sold out by a Republican majority, who value cheap labor, the “almighty” dollar and their own self-interests above America; by some Democrats, who value open borders and the advancement of global governance agendas over U.S. sovereignty.

On May 21st the Senate approved TPA, and Congress agreed on July 12th by a 218-208 vote. Congress also severed the symbiotic nature that the Senate had created between the TPA and the Trade Adjustment Assistance bill, so the failure of either would not prevent the other one from advancing into law; the Senate will give a final vote on TPA sometime between now and July 31st.

When Congress suspends several of its most basic powers for the next six years and delegates them to the executive and Obama, who exhibits a caustic disdain for Our U.S. Constitution, just exactly how does this advance the best interests of the American people?

Under fast-track procedures, Obama writes implementing legislation unaltered and without any Congressional amendments or input, for any yet-unseen global trade agreement, no matter its content and how far reaching it might be. Once it is called to the floor, it is only allowed 20 hours of debate, and the vote threshold is lowered to a simple majority, rather than the 60 votes threshold of most major legislation or the 67 votes required to pass treaties; in essence, Congress has preapproved swift consideration of sweeping global treaties before reading the first word of text, contradicting misleading and erroneous assertions from the offices of Representative Diane Black, Marsha Blackburn, Scott DesJarlais and several others.

Andy McCarthy (political analyst) tells us there is not any danger in passing the TPA. He suggests that Congress and the Senate can simply vote down bad trade deals, however, lowering TPA’s threshold for passage to a simple majority will potentially make it easier for a bad deal to pass. And every single “trade deal” currently under consideration is bad for America.

Either our representatives are blissfully optimistic, or they are suffering from sheer blind stupidity, regarding fascism and “trade deals.” With 76% of our trade with the eleven other Trans-Pacific Partnership participants already covered by NAFTA, TPP is a blatant attempt by globalists to transfer a host of issues from the control of the U.S. Congress and state legislatures to international trade courts; and, the TPP is more centered on redistribution of U.S. wealth than on the mythical creature called “free trade.”

Far from facilitating “free trade,” TPP places U.S. companies at a clear disadvantage by exempting foreign countries from standards mandated by U.S. law (i.e. EPA), and it allows other harmful practices to continue. It does not address currency manipulation, which has the same impact on trade as tariffs, and even if it did, the world has witnessed past trade courts deliver incomprehensible rulings from the IMF concerning China’s numerous violations. It does not address the foreign border adjustable taxes (VATS), which are also de facto tariffs, and it does not properly address the problem of government subsidies to state-owned enterprises. And unfathomably, it allows the Investor State Dispute Resolution to be handled by the foreign tribunals, without providing any rationale as to why the U.S. Court systems are not good enough.

If these broad sweeping trade agreements that the U.S. has entered over past decades, like NAFTA, the Australian Free Trade Agreement, CAFTA and the U.S.-Korea agreement (KORUS), are so good for the American people, why have we found it now necessary to create and implement the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program, which provides federal aid to U.S. workers who lose their jobs due to foreign trade?

While Speaker John Boehner, Paul Ryan (R-WI) – House Ways and Means Chairman, Senators Bob Corker (R-TN) and Lamar Alexander (R-TN) have been assuring everyone that the TPP section on immigration does not enable the free flow of labor across borders, they have failed to mention that this subject is the entire focus of the soon-to-follow Trade in Services Agreement (TISA) [WikiLeaks]. Under Article 4 concerning “Entry and Temporary Stay of National Persons”, provisions for open immigration are seen, according to the Economic Policy Institute, that state signatories “shall not maintain or adopt Economic Needs Tests, including labor market tests, as a requirement for a visa or work permit; essentially stating that U.S. laws limiting guest workers, only to jobs where no U.S. workers are available, are a violation of the treaty [See Also: TiSA Means Open Borders – Real Clear Politics 6/17/15].

Article 5 of TISA would allow corporations to transfer an unlimited number of foreign employees to America, under the guise of “contractual suppliers” and “business visitors”, in the same manner as the European Union does through its requirements for the free flow of labor. And just as this has caused double-digit unemployment in Western Europe, America can expect the TISA to increase U.S. unemployment numbers already in double-digits, if the truth were made plain by this administration and both political parties.

Since 1970, real hourly wages in the U.S. are lower today than they were more than four decades ago. The percentage of unemployed men ages 25-54 has grown from 6% in the 1960s to about 17% today, and since 2009, the number of women in the workforce has fallen by 3%.

Every American who loves this country should be demanding at the top of their voices that the Senate votes “NO” on TPP and TISA and any other trade deal that does not increase U.S. manufacturing jobs, opens foreign markets, reduces trade deficits and makes it easier for our businesses to succeed in America. Demand that Senators and negotiators put an end to deals that only benefit transnational mega corporations by allowing the movement of capital, businesses and people across borders without controls, damaging U.S. sovereignty. And demand that our leaders protect American interests, principles of responsible government, U.S. sovereignty and the American people.

Ultimately, this is about more than trade deals. The events of today will determine if America will retain Her sovereignty and power tomorrow. And, the American people must force their will over these events to ensure that Americans will rule themselves, rather than be ruled by bureaucrats, corporatists and transnationalist fascists.

“Show me the ‘free trade’ section of the Trans-Pacific Partnership deal, and I’ll kiss Obama’s ass.” – Justin O Smith

Under the banner of free trade with trade an afterthought, America was betrayed on May 21st by forty-nine GOP Senators and thirteen Democrats, who voted for the Trade Promotion Authority [TPA] and corporatism and transnational fascism in order to fast-track the anti-American Trans-Pacific Partnership “trade deal” and create an international rule of law unaccompanied by democracy. This, in essence, would have removed constitutional protections against the creation of global governance structures, and it would transfer Congressional control of numerous issues to international tribunals.

Obama has been negotiating the TPP under a blanket of silence and secrecy for the past five years, and the American people were not allowed to see it before Congress voted on the TPA fast-track on June 12th; only through leaked information do we now understand that the TPP will significantly impact public health, foreign policy, immigration and the environment.

Members of the U.S. Congress have been allowed only limited access to the TPP in the basement of the Capitol Visitor Center. They can review one section at a time under “supervision” of a guard, and they are forced to relinquish any notes they made before they leave. Yet more than 500 official corporate “advisors” have unlimited access to the TPP text.

Sen. Rand Paul stated, “It boggles the mind,” and he continued, [Who] … decides to keep a trade treaty secret?”

Michael Wessel has forty years of trade policy experience working for former Democrat Leader Dick Gephardt. He has worked on the North American Free Trade Agreement and he was an advisor to Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign. He is also a “cleared advisor” who has read the text of TPP and opposes large portions of it. He asserts in a Politico interview that he and other cleared advisors are being censored and prevented from publicly sharing their criticisms of the trade deal concerning specific proposals [See HERE]. Like every other issue, Obama pretends that such criticisms do not exist.

Why isn’t every single member of Congress demanding the full disclosure of the content of the TPP?

More than this, why would any Republican be willing to give Obama extended powers under TPA, when Obama has shown a real disdain for the U.S. Constitution? Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly called it “insane to give Obama some power to negotiate an important treaty in secret … [and] not have to account to Congress or the Senate.” [See HERE]

Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) is one of the few people who have read the TPP, and he noted earlier this month: “Under fast-track Congress transfers its authority to the executive and agrees to give up several of its most basic powers. … the power to write legislation … to amend legislation … to fully consider legislation on the floor … to keep debate open until Senate cloture is invoked, and the constitutional requirement that treaties receive two-thirds vote.” __ Session adds, “The latter is especially important since … it [the TPP] more closely resembles a treaty than a trade deal.” [See HERE]

Numerous sources, such as Frank Gaffney – president of the Center for Security Policy, Lou Dobbs – noted scholar and investigative journalist, and political analyst Mark Levin, have all noted that the TPA empowers Obama to unilaterally draft “implementing legislation” that will change U.S. laws and regulations to comply with the agreement he has negotiated. Through the TPA, Congress limits its own ability to debate and amend Obama’s “implementing legislation.”

Curiously, most of the 49 Senators who voted to fast-track the TPP had not read it, before they voted in favor of the TPA, including presidential candidates Senators Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz, although Cruz has since read it. So in essence, these men voted on a significant trade policy bill that affects the U.S. beyond anything America has seen to date, without reading the first word in it.

Deceit and subterfuge are being employed, when government officials claim TPP will not supersede U.S. law, because the fast-tracked legislation will. It also should be highlighted that rulings emanating from international tribunals do result in de facto modifications to a nation’s laws through regulations extra-legally, just in the same manner the World Trade Organization (WTO) rules have impacted the U.S.

The transnationalist governance structure of the TPP falls under the Trans-Pacific Partnership Commission, which has extremely broad powers and is taking the form of a nascent European Union. This new transnational commission has been chartered, by all accounts, with a “Living Agreement” clause, and it will have the authority to amend the agreement after passage, to add members and to issue regulations impacting the environment, commercial policy, healthcare, labor and immigration: An entire section of the TPP is devoted solely to immigration policy for the participating nations.

If one needs more reasons to oppose TPA and TPP, they are found in the Clinton administration’s North American Free Trade Agreement (Jan. 1994) and the WTO (Jan. 1995). These two trade treaties have caused serious detrimental effects on the U.S. economy.

Reuters’ reports: “Since the pacts were implemented, U.S. trade deficits, which drag down economic growth, have soared more than 430 percent with our free trade partners. In the same period, they’ve declined 11 percent with countries that are not free trade partners. Since fast-track authority was used to pass NAFTA and the U.S. entrance into the World Trade Organization, the overall annual U.S. trade deficit in goods has more than quadrupled, from $218 billion to $912 billion.”

Daniel DiMicco, Chairman Emeritus of Nucor Steel, explains that these free trade deals haven’t been free trade at all. We have lowered our barriers to foreign imports, but they have retained their barriers to our imports, resulting in “unilateral trade disarmament” and enabling “foreign mercantilism.”

Along with this, the AFL-CIO labor federation released a report on May 20th that read: “There is no reason to believe that drawing the Pacific Rim countries away from China is a realistic goal, so long as China continues to offer mutually beneficial trade, investments and supply chain opportunities to those countries — It seems reckless to ask Congress to enter into a deal that has a high probability of undermining U.S. wages, jobs and labor rights, as previous trade agreements have done, especially given that the deal has no real chance of diminishing China’s existing economic influence.

In this context, those proponents saying “Our rules, no rules or China’s rules,” over the TPA battle, are presenting fallacies and a false premise.

“Free trade” shouldn’t destroy one-fourth of all manufacturing jobs in the U.S., as NAFTA did. “Free trade” shouldn’t force displaced American workers to take pay cuts of 20% or more, in some cases. And ‘free trade” shouldn’t give transnational corporations more decision-making power than the U.S. government, making them a part of the government and allowing them to impact U.S. society, when their interference is unwanted and outside the normal parameters of any right they might claim.

In effect, TPA fast-track is an agreement to pre-approve and remove constitutional protections against the creation of a global governance structure, whose structures have not been made public yet. Above any desire to understand the legal and constitutional basis for such secrecy involving the TPP, one should ask, “Why is our Congress even considering such a transfer of U.S. sovereign power to a transnational governance structure of any kind, regardless of how beneficial the ‘deal’ seems?”

Can anyone show me the “free trade” in the TPP deal? Is this what freedom, liberty and justice for all has come to mean in America? God help US if it is.

Fortunately for all America, the TPA was not allowed to advance, after Speaker Boehner pushed it to a 219-211 win, because a key element, the Trade Adjustment Assistance segment, was defeated 302-126, in an effort led by labor and Nancy Pelosi. But Boehner has suggested that it will be revisited and another vote taken over the next few days, however, the 188 member Democrat caucus contains 124 hard “NO” votes in the House, with the full backing of Senators like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. So, it is highly likely that the TAA bill won’t pass, and the TPA won’t even get a vote.

Call Your Congressmen and urge them to stand firm against any new attempt to pass TPA; and then, prepare to engage in the most forceful, powerful Civil Disobedience imaginable, if for some unforeseen reason, our representatives pass the TAA and the TPA, which go against everything remotely in America’s best interests. Prepare to even take up arms should it become necessary to do so, in order to make our government and Obama understand just how far ‘We the People’ believe that they have overreached their authority.

As a longtime supporter of the GOP, I stand with those five Republican Senators, including Jeff Sessions, and the 32 Republican Congressmen, with Tennessee’s representatives noticeably missing from their ranks, and all the Democrats who stood and opposed the TPA on June 12th: Let’s pray that the next vote permanently derails the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

I have to admit I dislike being in agreement with Democrats who thanks to Barack Hussein Obama are usually utopian Leftists out to ignore the Original Intent of the Constitution and the Christian values that are as much a part of our American heritage as is Liberty. I am in agreement with the Dems that are against the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA).

As I wrote June 8th the Dems are against TPP and related agreements because the Unions are against it. The Conservatives that are the multitudinous of acronyms are due to the potential to abuse our national sovereignty, immigration at the will of the Executive Branch and various yet disputed economic reasons.

A large chunk of Republicans are for the TPP/TPA due to the disputes over the economic affects which the Establishment GOP believes will strengthen the American economy. I found it disturbing that self-described Speaker Boehner was urging the Fast Tracking of this legislation that would have in reality meant an increase of discretionary power for scandal plague President Barack Hussein Obama and his equally scandalous Administration.

As I was typing this I heard on Fox News’ Cavuto that the Dems and thankfully enough Republicans united to shoot down TPP/TPA. In light of the three comments which I edited into one post from Justin Smith who gives good reasons what the threat of TPP/TPA is. Justin Smith comments to the SlantRight 2.0 post “Are YOU going to Allow the House to Fast-Track TPP” on the Facebook group America’s Party.

But for clarities sake here’s a somewhat neutral description in the summary of a PDF publication I found:

Legislation to reauthorize Trade Promotion Authority (“TPA”), sometimes called “fast track,” was introduced as the Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities and Accountability Act of 2015 (TPA- 2015; H.R. 1890/S. 995) on April 16, 2015. The legislation was reported by the Senate Finance Committee on April 22, 2015, and by the House Ways and Means Committee the next day. TPA, as incorporated into H.R. 1314 by substitute amendment, passed the Senate on May 22 by a vote of 62-37. The previous grant of authority expired on July 1, 2007.

TPA is the process Congress has made available to the President to enable legislation to approve and implement certain international trade agreements to be considered under expedited legislative procedures for limited periods, provided the President observes certain statutory obligations. TPA defines how Congress has chosen to exercise its constitutional authority over a particular aspect of trade policy, while giving the President added leverage to negotiate trade agreements by effectively assuring U.S. trade partners that final agreements will be given timely and unamended consideration. On July 30, 2013, President Obama first publicly requested that Congress reauthorize TPA, and he reiterated his request for TPA in his January 20, 2015, State of the Union address. Legislation to renew TPA was introduced in the 113th Congress (H.R. 3830) (S. 1900), but it was not acted upon.

TPA reflects decades of debate, cooperation, and compromise between Congress and the executive branch in finding a pragmatic accommodation to the exercise of each branch’s respective authorities over trade policy. The expedited legislative procedures have not changed since first codified in the Trade Act of 1974 (P.L. 93-618). Congress, however, has required that the authority to use TPA be periodically reauthorized, and at times has chosen to revise trade negotiation objectives, the consultative mechanism, and presidential notification requirements. While early versions of fast track/TPA received bipartisan support, later renewal efforts have been more controversial, culminating in a more partisan vote on the 2002 TPA renewal. Future debates on TPA renewal may center on trade negotiation objectives, congressional oversight of trade negotiations, trade agreement enforcement, and clarifying the congressional authority over approval of reciprocal trade agreements and trade policy more generally, among others.

TPA renewal may become a more pressing issue in the 114th Congress because current trade negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and the Trade in Services Agreement (TISA) are in progress. Technically, TPA is not necessary to begin or even conclude trade negotiations, but it is widely understood to be a key element of defining congressional authority, and of passing trade agreement implementing legislation. Therefore, its renewal can be construed as signaling serious congressional support for moving ahead with trade negotiations. Addressing congressional concerns over the definition and operation of TPA may be a central part of the debate.

Although there appears to be support for renewal of TPA in Congress, the details of the legislation are likely to be subject to considerable debate, including the specific treatment of any related TAA program reauthorization. TPP is my line in the sand John. If our government sees fit to go along with what essentially amounts to global fascism/corporatism and nations giving up their sovereignty to be governed by the world’s corporations, it will be a watershed moment — it should be an epiphany to all Americans who love freedom and liberty that they are not truly represented any longer — and it should mark the day they arm themselves in preparation for an all out revolution.

The hell of it is that only 5 Republicans in the Senate voted against fast tracking this, along with 16 Democrats. It should be interesting to see how the House votes on this.

Republicans want this because they are under the delusion that it will grow the economy and provide cheap labor as well as decrease the trade deficit, all of which are wrong for too many reasons to detail here. And the Dems, except those like Bernie Sanders who actually seems to really care about America’s well-being, see this as finally setting precedents that will push the U.S. and other nations into an organization that will have enforcement capabilities regarding its rules and “laws” in a way that supersedes U.S. law.

Research it for Yourselves — the TPP will not bode well for America in any way, shape or form and destroys a large segment of U.S. sovereignty, as well as the sovereignty of all the other nations that sign on to it. Think of it as a supersized, new sort of union modeled after the EU.

TPP also opens the door for international tribunals to modify our laws on immigration and healthcare to conform with “international norms” and it has very little to do with actual trade between nations. This is global governance moving ahead at warp speed.

We’re rapidly approaching a point where an armed response may be the only thing that these fascist fools in the government understand. How long and how far do YOU let YOUR own government push YOU — taking away YOUR liberty and trampling on YOUR rights — before YOU stand and say “No More” and back it up with a rifle in YOUR hand? How long do YOU go through years of court battles that should never have been waged in the first place, because of an ever consistent and insistent advance against OUR Bill of Rights by the marxofascist Progressives, the corporatists and RINOs in government?

These bastards are trampling on the U.S. Constitution and the representative Republic daily. Just how much more are any of YOU willing to take?

To hell with “peaceful protest” — we’ve seen just how well that works these days. The Progressives have turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to it. At the very least, it is time to refuse to obey and comply with any “law” we know to be outside the Constitution and the Bill of Rights — to engage in the most forceful and powerful civil disobedience We can — and to show an armed mass of patriots on the steps of the Capitol in DC if it should prove necessary.

Go to exhibit a force of will and a preparedness to fight, not to start a revolution, but to impress upon the government just how far WE believe they have overreached their authority. If a revolution starts, let it start because they fired the first shot after causing the American people to have a hundred grievances against them already.

Tom Hoefling — 49 members of the Senate GOP showed themselves to be traitors to America on May 21st when they voted for Trade Promotion Authority fast-track for the Trans Pacific Partnership. There are fascists running rampant throughout both parties, and this TPA and TPP are fascism anyway one cuts it and anti-American through and through, no matter their reasoning for supporting it.

I fear the GOP can only see the almighty dollar sign and cheap labor, no matter that it will expand trade deficits and bring untold harm to our economy as it destroys U.S. jobs, despite assurances to the contrary advancing the lie that herein lies “prosperity for all.”

This TPA and TPP is a direct assault on the integrity of U.S. Sovereignty and the U.S. Constitution as it initiates international tribunals that will be poised and in place in order to implement measures that will supersede U.S. law — regarding immigration and healthcare specifically.

Please show me a conservative Tom Hoefling. There are 33 American Patriots in the Senate who voted “NO” on this deal. Tomorrow will delineate the Patriots from the Traitors in Congress, if the TPA makes it to the floor.

Ordinarily I’d agree with YOUR simplistic assessment, but the political atmosphere has so shifted in America that one can no longer tell a true conservative from a pretender, because so many will say and do anything in order to perpetuate their own power.

In the end, it does come down to the moral character of those We elect and fully vetting them properly to ensure that they do stand for God, the Constitution and the Republic and Our Beloved America’s traditions, Exceptionalism and Heritage — as expressed by the Founders through their Judeo-Christian beliefs and their Original Intent as presented in the Federalist Papers and other writings, such as Locke’s treatise on Government.

No Tom Hoefling — when You have half the nation subscribing to a foreign/European ideology of Marxism/fascism and attempting to tear apart the foundations upon which Our nation was built — working outside Constitutionally accepted means in order to succeed — You have a group of people who may be American by birth but who are anything but American in their purpose and intent for the nation and who are the Enemy From Within that I swore an oath to fight against in defense of the Constitution and Our Beloved America in September 1977.

These marxofascist bastards are American in name only and are pursuing the ends justifies the means as they attempt to abrogate the U.S. Constitution and take America into “a new age” of a “post-Constitutional America” in which the people serve the State rather than the State serving the people. And their redistribution policies in this context – the TPA/TPP – will redistribute U.S. wealth worldwide and reduce our own personal prosperity and economic freedom to a shambles, which in turn will reduce individual liberty across the nation.

If We cannot elect Statesmen grounded in God, Family and Country in the next election -2016, as well as good, decent, moral and true conservatives, then the nation will see an increase in strife and social upheavals, eventually culminating in near civil war — most likely an all-out Civil War.

I cannot see strong willed and strong-minded Sons and Daughters sitting by idly as Progressive Fascists reduce US all to the lowest common denominator in poverty under their Utopian Statist Hell, especially when there is not any real political solution. One does not “compromise” with the very Evil that intends to destroy everything one loves about one’s nation. One destroys that Evil totally and completely. Civil War is coming whether anyone wishes to face it or not — too many takers live here with outreached hands and an unwillingness to accept responsibility for their own failures.

Are YOU going to Allow the House to Fast-Track TPP

I think I have actually found an issue that Conservatives and Leftists might actually have some common. And the incredible irony is this issue may equally divide the Conservative and Leftist camps into pro and against on both sides of the issue.

What is that issue?

The issue is called Trans-Pacific Partnership or TPP.

The plus implications of a TPP agreement is the schmooze of Free Enterprise and the tearing down of restrictive tariffs between the TPP signatory nations.

I have knowledge of the TPP negotiations on a periphery basis rather than a complete informed basis. So when I received The Western Center for Journalism (WJ) action alert email I was quite interested in their Conservative view. When I did a little cursory investigation is when I discovered there are some Leftists against TPP. In case you were unaware the WJ takes a Right Wing position that many (especially Leftists) consider a bit further to the Right than a lot of other Conservative organization

Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who is considered more Left Wing than Hillary Clinton, has come out strongly against a TPP agreement. Her reasoning is a bit different from the Conservative reasons for being against TPP, but the point is regardless of the reasons there is strong opposition from both Left and Right on the Trans-Pacific Partnership becoming a part of the Rule of Law.

Here is an excerpt from an article that is billed as showing the pros and cons of TPP:

The Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, is a proposed free trade agreement between the U.S and 11 other trading partners bordering the Pacific Ocean. Current trade between the countries is $1.5 trillion in goods (2012 estimate) and $242 billion in services (2011 estimate). Once approved, it would be bigger than the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), currently the world’s largest free trade area.

The TPP is between Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the U.S. and Vietnam. The countries involved are responsible for 40% of the world’s total GDP of $88 trillion, 26% of its trade, and 793 million of its consumers.

Notably, the agreement excludes China. It’s meant to balance the trade dominance of both China and India in East Asia. It also provides a trade alliance that gives the U.S. an excuse to intervene in trade disputes in the oil-rich South China Sea.

However, all parties have signaled that other members can join in the future. So far, the Phillipines and China have indicated an interest.

Like most other trade agreements, it removes tariffs on goods and services, and sets reciprocal trade quotas. Unlike most agreements, but like the TTIP, it removes non-tariff blocks to trade and harmonizes regulations and statutes.

Pros

The TPP boosts exports and economic growth, creating more jobs and prosperity for the 12 countries involved. It increases exports by $305 billion per year by 2025. U.S. exports would increase by $123.5 billion, focusing on machinery, especially electrical, autos, plastics and agriculture industries.

The agreement adds $223 billion a year to incomes of workers in all the countries, with $77 billion of that going to U.S. workers. (Source: US Trade Representative, TPP Fact Sheet)

Cons

Most of the gains in income would go to workers making more than $88,000 a year. Free trade agreements contribute to income inequality in high-wage countries by promoting cheaper goods from low-wage countries.

This would be particularly true for the TPP, because it protects patents and copyrights. Therefore, the higher-paid owners of the intellectual property would receive more of the income gains.

The agreement regarding patents will reduce the availability of cheap generics, making many drugs more expensive. Competitive business pressures will reduce the incentives in Asia to protect the environment. Last but not least, the trade agreement could supersede financial regulations. Senator Warren has had her Senate staff publish a report on TPP called “Broken Promises”. Warren’s concerns seem to focus on how TPP will affect Labor in the USA. In this she is joining America’s big Unions. From a Labor perspective, there is concern of cheap foreign labor and greater production of goods and services in foreign countries that could affect employment of American citizens – in Warren’s case that would be Union backed Labor.

Michael Wessel backs Senator Warren at Politico but he focuses on the secrecy involved in the TPP negotiations. And not just the typical secrecy involved in nation-to-nation negotiations, but the kind of secrecy that has very limited access to those authorized to view the memos and reports that have been saved from the negotiations. To the point that the authorized must go to a designated building and they must be watched by a government functionary:

You need to tell me what’s wrong with this trade agreement, not one that was passed 25 years ago,” a frustrated President Barack Obama recently complained about criticisms of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). He’s right. The public criticisms of the TPP have been vague. That’s by design—anyone who has read the text of the agreement could be jailed for disclosing its contents. I’ve actually read the TPP text provided to the government’s own advisors, and I’ve given the president an earful about how this trade deal will damage this nation. But I can’t share my criticisms with you.

I can tell you that Elizabeth Warren is right about her criticism of the trade deal. We should be very concerned about what’s hidden in this trade deal—and particularly how the Obama administration is keeping information secret even from those of us who are supposed to provide advice.

So-called “cleared advisors” like me are prohibited from sharing publicly the criticisms we’ve lodged about specific proposals and approaches. Conservative anti-TPP concerns center around the distrust of laws forced on Americans that are beyond the scope of the Constitution and the concern that TPP will bypass Congressional oversight and/or approval protocols. Also there is a concern of mass immigration of foreigners taking American jobs. In essence the issue is a foreign infringement on American sovereignty.

The Conservative plus view looks at lower tariffs and markets that prosper the American economy via less regulations as well as products made less expensively thus costing consumers less money.

Senator Jeff Sessions list five concerns about TPP:

Congress has the responsibility to ensure that any international trade agreement entered into by the United States must serve the national interest, not merely the interests of those crafting the proposal in secret. It must improve the quality of life, the earnings, and the per-capita wealth of everyday working Americans. The sustained long-term loss of middle class jobs and incomes should compel all lawmakers to apply added scrutiny to a “fast-track” procedure wherein Congress would yield its legislative powers and allow the White House to implement one of largest global financial agreements in our history—comprising at least 12 nations and nearly 40 percent of the world’s GDP. The request for fast-track also comes at a time when the Administration has established a recurring pattern of sidestepping the law, the Congress, and the Constitution in order to repeal sovereign protections for U.S. workers in deference to favored financial and political allies.

With that in mind, here are the top five concerns about the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) that must be fully understood and addressed before passage:

1. Consolidation Of Power In The Executive Branch. TPA eliminates Congress’ ability to amend or debate trade implementing legislation and guarantees an up-or-down vote on a far-reaching international agreement before that agreement has received any public review. 2. Increased Trade Deficits. Barclays estimates that during the first quarter of this year, the overall U.S. trade deficit will reduce economic growth by .2 percent. 3. Ceding Sovereign Authority To International Powers. Mitch McConnell just did his part for large multi-national corporations and squeezed it through the Senate… BARELY. As a matter of fact, because of your Blast Faxes and calls in stanch opposition to TPP, McConnell had to pull every dirty deal out of his bag of tricks AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE to make it happen.

Make no mistake, your opposition to TPP totally changed the dynamic in Washington… so much so that the ultimate fate of this globalist scheme is presently UNCERTAIN in the House of Representatives.

And now that Mitch McConnell and John Boehner are on the ropes and desperately trying to re-group, at this very moment, to push this globalist agenda through the House of Representatives, we’re in a position to defeat TPP outright… but we must strike now… before McConnell and Boehner can make dirty, behind-the-scenes deals to sneak it past us.

If You’re Thinking That Your Faxes And Calls Are Not A Powerful Weapon… Just Look At What You Just Did To Mitch McConnell.

Two weeks ago, Washington elites were high-fiving one another because passage of this New World Order trade scheme was considered a slam-dunk… a done deal… but that all changed once patriot Americans, like you, started burning up telephone lines and sending avalanches of faxes to Washington.

As a matter of fact, Mitch McConnell literally scrambled to make DEALS with his fellow Senators on the fly DURING THE CLOTURE VOTE when it became clear that the unthinkable was actually happening and he did not have the votes he needed to betray you after all.

According to conservative pundit and the son of former-President Ronald Reagan, Michael Reagan: “The NY Times reports a blur of 11th hour deals on the Senate floor on Thursday saved Obama’s trade agenda from defeat, busting a filibuster to advance legislation that would enable the president to complete a sweeping, 12-nation Pacific trade agreement.”

The Hill, the publication of record for Washington insiders, fleshed out the details: “More than halfway through the vote, it appeared supporters of fast-track might be stuck… McConnell then huddled in the well of the Senate floor… The breakthrough came when McConnell promised [Senator Maria] Cantwell that he would schedule a vote next month on an amendment authorizing the Export-Import Bank. As soon as he did, Cantwell wheeled around and voted ‘Aye,’ followed in quick succession by [Senators] Murray, Heitkamp and Sens. Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.).”

The Hill added: “McConnell’s proposal also pushed [Lindsey] Graham, who was also in the huddle, to vote yes” and The Hill goes on to state that Orrin Hatch made a last-minute concession to Senator Rob Portman that induced him to vote “yes” as well.

Here’s the bottom line. The political elites in the Senate had to hustle, at the very last minute, to push this betrayal precisely because patriotic Americans pushed back; but, as the New York Times notes, this win “was not the overwhelming victory House supporters had hoped for” and “advocates concede they do not yet have the votes to hand the White House trade promotion authority.”

You read that right. They don’t believe they have the votes. That’s why Boehner and McConnell are hustling, at this very moment, to secure the votes needed to betray you and that’s why you are positioned to deny them that betrayal. McConnell won a battle but, the cost for him was very high and, if you speak out now, we can win the war.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership Is A Fraud. It Has Nothing To Do With Trade.

Let’s get down to brass tacks. TPP is nothing more than a pretext for implementing a globalist agenda and eradicating American sovereignty and your freedom.

Don’t take our word for it. Political pundit Dick Morris, hardly a tin-foil-hat type, calls TPP a “fraud” and writes: “The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) has nothing to do with trade. While it officially embraces 11 countries plus the U.S., 76 percent of our trade with these nations is with Mexico and Canada, already covered by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Any export growth is likely to have been already covered by NAFTA, making the TPP irrelevant to our trade relations.”

Morris goes on to explain: “The World Trade Organization has reduced tariffs to almost nothing… the US already functionally has free trade with all of the countries of the Pacific Rim” and he adds: “The TPP is nothing but an effort by the globalists to circumvent American sovereignty, transferring a host of issues from the control of the U.S. Congress and the various state legislatures to international trade courts.”

So what’s the real agenda behind pushing TPP? Morris adds that TPP gives “multi-national companies the right to sue the American government to force changes in our laws in a foreign or international court.”

Why is that important? Morris yet again: “Multinational corporations find bureaucrats easy to control, subject as they are to the influences of the revolving door between regulators and those they regulate. Coming from industry or planning to return there, the supposedly disinterested bureaucrats are anything but impartial.”

And just in case you were wondering why TPP is being kept under lock-and-key… just in case you were wondering why the public is not allowed to read it… just in case you were wondering why elected officials must lock themselves in a room in the basement of the Capitol Building to read it and are prohibited from taking notes and must even relinquish their cell phones before locking themselves away to read the bill… the answer should now be obvious.

In a nutshell, multi-national corporations are spending millions (perhaps billions) to convince our elected officials to willingly cede their Constitutional authority and hand our national sovereignty over to Barack Obama and an oligarchy of international corporations… it’s all about the Benjamins… your liberties be damned.

But make no mistake, when enough of our elected officials know that enough of us are on to this little game, they will back down and if multi-national corporations are willing to spend billions to secure their vote, are enough of us willing to reach out to our elected officials to put a stop to this foolishness?

Let’s Recap… Subverting Our Sovereignty For The Benefit Of Globalists Is Not Free Trade… It Is Tyranny.

If you’re still having a hard time believing that TPP will give Barack Obama and globalists unprecedented powers… if you’re having a hard time believing that TPP is nothing more than a concession to an international oligarchy that will cost us our sovereignty, our freedom and millions of American jobs… don’t take our word for it.

Here’s a refresher course on what Phyllis Schlafly says about TPP:

The text of TPP emphasizes that it is a “living agreement.” Translated out of bureaucratese code language, that means the text of TPP can be changed in major and minor ways by executive action after Congress passes the document.

TPP will facilitate the expanded movement of foreign workers into the United States. TPP opens the door to more waves of illegal immigrants and allows Obama to make future changes without any congressional oversight or expiration date.

Kevin L. Kearns of the U.S. Business and Industry Council calls this “another power grab” that will let Obama and his employees rule by executive action. By the device of not calling TPP a treaty (even though it involves 12 countries on three continents), the globalists induce the Senate to abandon the 67-vote threshold for treaty ratification and even the 60-vote threshold for important legislation.

Fast Track turns over some of our authority as a sovereign nation to international authorities, which is a major longtime goal of the internationalists, the so-called kingmakers and big business lobbyists. The code language that hides this in TPP is the statement that calls it a “living agreement.”

Giving Barack Obama, a man who has repeatedly shown his hatred for this country and a willingness to subvert our Constitution, such broad powers is like giving an arsonist a book of matches and a can of gasoline.

Boehner, McConnell and their RINO cohorts are either delusional, corrupt or both; but one thing is certain. The American people did not give Republicans a majority in both Houses of Congress last November so that they could help Barack Obama destroy the United States as we know it… and it’s high time that they got the message.

Cannibalism In Syria Causes An Extremely Rare Disease

Its (sic) called Kuru, an extremely rare disease which virtually became extinct after extinguishing cannibalism in Papua New Guinea. Amazingly Kuru has now been found in 8 to 20 people, out of all places, in war-torn Syria, and the only way it could have come about, doctors confirmed, is through cannibalism and the consumption of human brain, as first reported by Arabian news source Zaman al-Wasal and substantiated by Orient News Television.

Two of the infected were sent from Syria to a hospital (sic) in Ghazi Antab in Turkey for further examination to only be transferred to another hospital in Germany. Kuru is a very rare disease. It is caused by an infectious protein (prion) found in contaminated human brain tissue.

 

Kuru is found among people from New Guinea who practiced a form of cannibalism in which they ate the brains of dead people as part of a funeral ritual.

 

One of the infected men in the German hospital was confirmed to have eaten human flesh, and he eventually died. When the Turkish hospital was asked on the details of the cannibalism case, they refrained from saying anything.

 

Moreover, the Free Syrian Army said they will be doing an investigation on the cannibalism case, and this sparks a hunch as to what their intentions are behind this.

 

Overall, there are 8 to 20 cases of Kuru in Syria; Kuru strictly is caused by cannibalism, and cannibalism was involved from the report on what took place in the German hospital.

 

In past studies, it was established that in the area of Fore in Paupa (sic) New Guinea, Kuru was transmitted due to “ritualistic mortuary cannibalism.”

It is quite possible that this is what commenced the infection, in that the jihadists began to eat the flesh of their enemies.

A move to buy fewer Treasurys and mortgage-backed securities — say, $70 billion to $75 billion a month as a first stage, instead of the current $85 billion a month — would lead, the market fears, to a rise in U.S. interest rates and a stronger dollar that would provoke a selloff in global markets.

 

The consensus now says this tapering won’t begin until March 2014 at the soonest, although the Fed’s press release after the October meeting of its Open Market Committee led to a pickup among traders and investors in votes for January 2014.

 

The Federal Reserve itself, however, has moved on in its worries and plans. While the timing of any taper remains an unsettled issue, planning at the Fed is now concentrating on the endgame.

WASHINGTON — The Federal Reserve has taken unprecedented steps to stimulate the economic recovery from the Great Recession, but the tab has risen to such tremendous proportions — fast approaching $4 trillion — that some worry the central bank ultimately could require its own taxpayer rescue.

 

The Fed’s total assets on its balance sheet have more than quadrupled to $3.8 trillion since 2008 amid a massive bond-buying effort. And there are few signs that the growth will stop any time soon.

 

That could put the finances of the world’s most powerful central bank at risk if historically low interest rates were to rise sharply — something top Fed officials said they do not expect but that critics warn is very possible.

 

It also could inhibit the ability of central bank officials to respond to future economic and financial crises.

 

“It’s really pretty cut-and-dried as far as the arithmetic goes: If you buy bonds and interest rates go up, you’re going to take a capital loss on those bonds,” said James D. Hamilton, an economics professor at UC San Diego. “The more they buy, the bigger their balance sheet, the bigger the loss they’re going to face.”

WASHINGTON — The Federal Housing Administration dramatically expanded its role after the subprime market collapsed, but at the expense of its own finances. Now, the government agency will get a first-ever bailout of $1.7 billion.

 

In a letter Friday to Congress, the agency’s head said it needed money to stabilize its long-term finances and cover potential losses on the huge volume of low-down-payment mortgages it insured from 2007 to 2009.

 

It’s the first time the 79-year-old FHA — created during the Great Depression to keep home lending flowing — will require taxpayer funding.

 

And it will get the money automatically. The FHA is financed by mortgage insurance premiums charged to homeowners and has been self-sustaining through its history. But it has the authority to draw funds from the Treasury without asking Congress.

 

FHA Commissioner Carol Galante informed lawmakers the agency would need the money Monday, the last day of the fiscal year, to ensure it has sufficient reserves to cover anticipated losses on the loans it backs. A bailout has been expected since April, when the Obama administration’s proposed 2014 budget projected the FHA would need $943 million by Sept. 30.

 

But the agency asked for nearly twice that much because of a recent decline in business, caused by rising mortgage interest rates, Galante said.

The twenty-first-century economy has thus far been shaped by capital flows from China to the United States – a pattern that has suppressed global interest rates, helped to reflate the developed world’s leverage bubble, and, through its impact on the currency market, fueled China’s meteoric rise. But these were no ordinary capital flows. Rather than being driven by direct or portfolio investment, they came primarily from the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), as it amassed $3.5 trillion in foreign reserves – largely US Treasury securities.

 

The fact that a single institution wields so much influence over global macroeconomic trends has caused considerable anxiety, with doomsayers predicting that doubts about US debt sustainability will force China to sell off its holdings of US debt. This would drive up interest rates in the US and, ultimately, could trigger the dollar’s collapse.

 

But selling off US Treasury securities, it was argued, was not in China’s interest, given that it would drive up the renminbi’s exchange rate against the dollar, diminishing the domestic value of China’s reserves and undermining the export sector’s competitiveness. Indeed, a US defense department report last year on the national-security implications of China’s holdings of US debt concluded that “attempting to use US Treasury securities as a coercive tool would have limited effect and likely would do more harm to China than to the [US].”

 

To describe the symbiotic relationship between China’s export-led GDP growth and America’s excessive consumption, the economic historians Niall Ferguson and Moritz Schularick coined the term “Chimerica.” The invocation of the chimera of Greek mythology – a monstrous, fire-breathing amalgam of lion, goat, and dragon – makes the term all the more appropriate, given that Chimerica has generated massive and terrifying distortions in the global economy that cannot be corrected without serious consequences.

For decades the US has benefited to the tune of trillions of dollars-worth of free credit from the greenback’s role as the default global reserve unit.

 

But as the global economy trembled before the prospect of a US default last month, only averted when Washington reached a deal to raise its debt ceiling, China’s official Xinhua news agency called for a “de-Americanised” world.

 

It also urged the creation of a “new international reserve currency… to replace the dominant US dollar”.

 

For China — which has the world’s biggest foreign exchange reserves — the immediate appeal of a greater role for the yuan is lubricating trade flows and drawing foreign investment.

Evidence the yuan is becoming truly global can be found in Rongrong Huo’s passport, which shows the HSBC banker bouncing from Switzerland to South Africa fielding inquiries from a growing number of clients on how they can trade China’s currency.

 

“The market potential is huge,” Huo, who heads HSBC’s yuan business development for Europe, said in an interview after returning to London from Warsaw. “Companies are asking, how can we make progress on this front? And investors are asking, how can we bring the yuan into our asset allocation? It’s encouraging to see the engagement. It’s about the future.”

 

Three years after China allowed the yuan to start trading in Hong Kong’s offshore market, banks and investors around the world are positioning themselves to get involved in what Nomura Holdings Inc. calls the biggest revolution in the $5.3 trillion currency market since the creation of the euro in 1999.

Because there is no way to stop this Mobster of a Healthcare Policy from Collapsing the whole entire industry, I think the way forward with this healthcare debacle between is this …. Why not create a subsidy exchange for everyone to graduate into the exchanges rather than just some getting a subsidy and others not??

 

I think this would equalize the way the market and corporations ebb and flow into the relationship or partnership between public and private sector entities?

 

Allowing the private sector some sort of way to offer subsides to cost share in the insurance premium markets and the ACA [Affordable Care Act] be a Guarantee of those subsidies much like say the SBA, HUD and Fanny and Freddy guarantees private sector funding should be considered so the Relationship between Public and Private sector markets can be streamlined and allow the system to work inspirationally.

 

The Inspiration to help people will be better served I think and this will open the door to solving the Government shutdown because this offers the Republicans a method of policy that compliments conservative values and at the same time keeps the ACA helping with the failing system much like how a Governor on a Motor regulates its RPM so it doesn’t blow a Head Gasket when under extreme compression due to demand for power to pull a heavy load. And this is what you are trying to maintain right while we navigate the “Bumps and Hills” in the road to success????

 

I think you can be the one to offer a “National Subsidy Fix” to a Stalled out debate here that cannot be refused because of the way the private sector market can rally around the “Same Relationship like the other Government agencies work to guarantee funding flows”. 

 

To further build on this idea about how to equally subside the ACA healthcare exchanges, we should debate a “Rewards Based Subsidy Program” maybe????

 

I think tailoring something like the way Auto Insurance is considerate in that if a family is prudent in carefully creating a living practice that results in less accidents a reward of lower costs to premiums is the result means that this would be true in healthcare too. And that a doctor or medical providers cost structure would be based off an ACA annual report on medical usage. And that if the costs are rising that more educational values need to be implemented to drive societal understanding of its need to be better at performance of their healthcare. So [then] costs can be controlled and “Rewards” sustained in the Subsidy Exchanges which under the ACA Subsidy Exchanges associated with the ACA Healthcare exchanges would be then accessible to families that provide performance records that show less usage. And they be rewarded for this performance in less premium costs and that subsidy exchange then grows in value to afford a sector where costs are needing greater subsidy to offset their costs.

 

This seems to be a Strategy I heard the insurance company named Tenet Healthcare this morning use in picking areas to invest in and associated with the ACA. But this needs to be a National strategy and so doing something with the subsidy policy needs to be the catalyst for bringing together supplement exchanges to equalize lower cash flow areas in the USA with higher. So that the Insurance Companies do not squeeze the higher cash flow areas for profits forcing more and more onto the Government exchanges . . .

 

“Cash Flow is the driving factor and of course you know this but the idea that this subsidy can be a market that the investing community can invest in to recycle unused capital and reallocate it based off an ebb and flow of healthcare performance” can be achieved here I think. But I think you have to create the rewards policy that will drive performance in individuals trying to be as healthy as possible.

Smoking gun #1: As I detailed in my two previous articles (click here and here), Dr. Barbara Starfield’s article in the July 26, 2000, Journal of the American Medical Association, “Is US Health Really the Best in the World?”, spelled out the damage:

 

The US medical system kills 225,000 Americans per year. That’s well over two MILLION deaths per decade.

 

The US government supports, in numerous ways, this system. And now, through the implementation of Obamacare, many more previously uninsured Americans will enter the killing fields.

 

Dr. Starfield’s data are not classified. They’re not a state secret. Any doctor or medical bureaucrat has access to them.

 

Yet nothing of note is being done to remedy the ongoing crime.

 

Smoking gun #2: Starfield’s report indicated that, every year in the US, 106,000 Americans die as a result of FDA-approved medical drugs.

 

The FDA is the only agency tasked with certifying these drugs as safe and effective. With such certification, the drugs enter the public pipeline.

Exchanges & Premium Subsidies

 

One of the main features of ObamaCare is the creation of a new federally-financed health care entitlement that will subsidize the insurance premiums for low and moderate income Americans, beginning in 2014. The amount of the subsidy is inversely related to family income and will be a administered by new state-based “exchanges” that will replace today’s small group and individual markets for health insurance.

 

Exchanges

 

ObamaCare creates new entities in every state through which individuals buying insurance on their own must purchase their government-approved insurance. In addition, many small businesses employees will get their insurance through the exchanges as well because their employers will not offer coverage to their workers under ObamaCare’s rules for employer participation (see “Employer Mandate”).

 

Premium Subsidies

 

Households with incomes below 400 percent and above 133 percent of the federal poverty line (FPL) who are enrolled in insurance plans offered through the exchanges are eligible for premium assistance financed by the federal government (Medicaid will cover families with incomes below 133 percent of FPL). In 2010, the FPL is $22,050 for family of four. The new law establishes a sliding scale of assistance based on limitations on required family contributions to the cost of coverage. For instance, at 150 percent of FPL in 2014, ObamaCare limits the amount that such households must contribute toward their health insurance premium to 4 percent of their annual income. At 400 percent of the FPL, households must contribute 9.5 percent of their income toward insurance premiums. Whatever portion of the total health insurance premium for their coverage is not paid by these households is covered by the new federal premium assistance program.

 

Estimated Federal Costs and the “Firewall”

 

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has estimated that this new premium assistance program will cost $113 billion annually by 2019, with premium assistance going to an additional 19 million Americans (the Medicaid expansion will add 16 million new people to the program at a cost of $97 billion in 2017).
