Sharing on Tyranny Theft of Liberty

SO … If you read or actually follow what I post, you are probably aware that I am a cantankerous Senior Citizen (considered Disabled until I reached 66, so now the government arbitrarily re-classified me as retired) Christian-Conservative-Patriot. Which more than likely places a special label on my head by the Dem-Marxist Coup power-usurping government rulers as extremist domestic terrorist. EVEN THOUGH that is a lie since unlike Dem-Marxists and their paramilitary comrades (Antifa & BLM) I do NOT participate in violence. I do preach PEACEFUL resistance and non-compliance to tyranny.

Now that the Dem-Marxists have shorn up their grip on the apparatus of law enforcement and have essentially purged the U.S. Military of Constitutional Conservatives, those tools of power undoubtedly view me as an enemy of the State.

With those thoughts in mind, in these current days of Dem-Marxist Oligarchic Elitism ignore the Constitution, I am uncertain if my dwindling financial support (though readership seems steady statistically) is due to blacklisting, shadow banning, complacent ambivalence or some odd combination of all of the above.

ERGO, today’s poking the stick in the tyrant’s eye sharing is a combination of Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh’s “The Depraved New World and Technocracy”; an email of from Brandon Smith of The Bob Livingston Letter (‘To gain total power, the establishment has to make freedom and truth “dangerous”’); a David Kupelian email (which really reads as a support WND email) entitled “America’s elites finally reveal their most hated enemy: Christians”; and then a Greg Reese roughly 5-minute video offering a brief history of the use of money – U.S. history to Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) Global Tyranny – entitled “INSIDE THE ECONOMIC RESET” (H/T The Reese Report Substack).

After watching the Reese video I felt an imperative to share information on the probable stranglehold of controlling every aspect of a person’s life the government will possess with the implementation of CBDC cashless society. If you thought COVID/Medical Tyranny was an intrusion on Liberty, a CBDC controlled society will make COVID/Medical Tyranny look like a short walk in a 15-Minute City park.

The Depraved New World and Technocracy

Who is going to save this Republic from implosion?

World on Precipice

United Nations has become a very powerful organization that yields a lot of power among globalists, including billionaire Americans who give to its causes dear to their hearts. The majority of U.N.’s funding comes from American taxpayers and they are either blissfully ignorant of what the U.N. is doing to our country or are actually supporting the United States’ demise.

The United Nations has been able to impose over the years the globalist Agenda 21/2030 by using the lynchpin Sustainable Development’s 17 goals which read quite innocuous at first glance. But SD is the tool to create a new global economic order after the destruction of U.S. capitalism.

The Green New Deal, U.N. Agenda 21/2030, Smart Cities, Public-Private Partnerships, Regionalism, 15-minute cities, and the Great Reset of the World Economic Forum (WEF)

Patrick Wood has written about and discussed technocracy since the 1970s. He published many books and articles on the topic. He has argued for a long time that technocracy dominance and not communism is the true goal of the globalists. He wrote that United Nations established Sustainable Development (SD) as “an outgrowth of historic Technocracy from the 1930s.”

The Green New Deal, U.N. Agenda 21/2030, Smart Cities, Public-Private Partnerships, Regionalism, 15-minute cities, and the Great Reset of the World Economic Forum (WEF) are goals that must be accomplished at all costs. According to Patrick Wood, only then the population of the earth will be “micro-managed by a Scientific Dictatorship.”

The technocracy movement has been around since the 1930s. At the time, Julian Huxley, an English evolutionary biologist and a left-wing internationalist preoccupied with education, was the first director-general in 1946 of the newly created United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). His directorship only lasted two years instead of six. Catholic Americans objected to his idea of controlling population growth with birth control.

Edward Bellamy’s writings and the progressive engineers of the early twentieth century defined the technocracy movement. The term technocracy was invented in 1919 by William H. Smyth, an engineer from California, “the rule of the people made effective through the agency of their servants, the scientists and engineers.”

Howard Scott and other writers advocated that “businesspeople were incapable of reforming their industries in the public interest and that control of industry should be given to engineers.” He is considered the founder of the technocracy movement.

Technocracy is the science of social engineering

Technocracy Inc. proposed in 1938 that “technocracy is the science of social engineering, the scientific operation of the entire social mechanism to produce and distribute goods and services to the entire population of this continent [from Panama to the North Pole],… as a scientific, technical, and engineering problem.” Goods will be distributed by this technocracy by “means of a certificate of distribution available to every citizen from birth to death.” The various splinter organizations of the technocracy movement did not survive very long in New York and at Columbia.

During this time period, Aldous Huxley, Julian Huxley’s brother, wrote in 1931 and published in 1932 his dystopian novel Brave New World which is set in a World State in 2540 A.D. in the city of London, where citizens are environmentally engineered by science into a social hierarchy based on intelligence. Reproductive technology, sleep-learning, psychological manipulation, and classical conditioning create a frightening society. Unfortunately some of these imagined developments have come to fruition today, as science is already experimenting with and accomplishing objectionable futuristic goals.

Citizens in Huxley’s Brave New World are born through artificial wombs and children are indoctrinated into predetermined classes based on intelligence and the type of labor they are slated to perform. There are hatchery workers like Lenina Crowne. Citizens are kept calm and in check with a drug called ‘soma.’

Richard Gardner, a member of the Trilateral Commission (a non-governmental organization or NGO), wrote in 1974 an article for Foreign Affairs Magazine entitled “The Hard Road to World Order” in which he predicted the future of the Commission’s self-described New International Economic Order – “an end-run around national sovereignty,” “booming, buzzing confusion,” and building this Economic Order from the “bottom up” instead of an “old-fashioned frontal assault.”

This year, 2023, is Year One of this new global order

A Trilateral Commission member, which cannot be identified as per its rules, spoke at the New Delhi meeting on March 12, 2023, “Three decades of globalization – defined as integrated, free-market based and deflationary – has been replaced by what will be a multidecade period of globalization defined as fragmented, not-free-market-based but industrial-policy based and structurally inflationary.” This year, 2023, is Year One of this new global order.” Trilateral Commission calls 2023 ‘Year One’ of new world order – Nikkei Asia

In our Depraved New World where everything goes, the virtue signaling insane societal circus forces citizens to buy into the mental delusion and disease of a few men who think that they are women, that they can menstruate, have wombs, have babies, and compete in women’s sports. If we don’t, we are sent to a pariah status by our technocratic State.

The economy is in inflationary and energy shambles, we are invaded by citizens from 200 different nations through our borderless southern and northern crossings, law and order are worse than ever, education and medical care are lacking in this banana republic, and the traditional family and Christianity are heavily under attack. Who is going to save this Republic from implosion? Like the poet Juvenal wrote in his Satires, Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

To gain total power, the establishment has to make freedom and truth “dangerous”

Email by Brandon Smith

Email Sent Mar 22, 2023, 10:15 AM
Email via The Bob Livingston Letter [Published by Personal Liberty Media Group]

It’s no mistake that certain talking points seem to be repeated ad nauseam by politicians and media talking heads until they become a part of the common public vernacular. For example, most of us in the Liberty Movement never heard the term “alt-right” in our lives until around 2015-2016. Leftist media and even Fox News on occasion bandied the label like a broken record without ever really defining it. Soon, every leftist on social media was using it as a pejorative for anyone who disagreed with them.

Much like the terms “extremist,” “terrorist,” “deplorable,”  “bigot” or “misogynist,” “alt-right” was the new catch-all attack against people who refused to comply with the establishment narrative. The goal, obviously, is to isolate anyone who opposes their agenda and inoculate the public with prejudice.

The message: Some people on the political right are OK.  The people who follow our dictates and don’t question our actions and motives. Others are very bad, dangerous and unhinged and might be capable of anything. We don’t like those people. Be a good right-wing person, not an alt-right person. Anything they say is a lie designed to turn you to the dark side and radicalize you.”

The source of these character attacks is often hard to pinpoint but can usually be traced back to coordinated corporate campaigns, proving that the mainstream media is not in competition, they are in collusion. The COVID pandemic response was a perfect example; every single corporate outlet and every major social media outlet was in lockstep on the narrative without question and without skepticism.

And if we follow the trail back even further, we will usually find that the media relies on information scripted by government agencies and globalist think tanks like the Imperial College of London or the World Economic Forum during covid, for example. The WEF’s Event 201 “simulation” of a coronavirus pandemic, which was held only two months before the real thing happened, specifically discussed the need for coordinated information control and “flooding the zone” in social media with corporate sources to drown out any contrary data and viewpoints which they call “disinformation.” Check out this video at the 9:00 mark.

We can see the direct consequences of this agenda today. Try to search for any information on COVID on YouTube and all you will get is thousands upon thousands of corporate media propaganda pieces. No alternatives. This kind of uniformity and centralization of messaging is not limited to crisis events, however. It also extends to what I would call “counterinsurgency” propaganda, also known as “4th Generation Warfare.”

First, it’s important to understand one vital fact when it comes to these tactics of isolation and demonization: It is a mindset that views the general population as the enemy, rather than a foreign government or military. Beyond that, it is an indirect reveal of who the establishment fears the most.

Conservatives, liberty activists and patriots are targeted because we are a threat to the power structure. If we weren’t a danger to them, they would not waste their time, money and energy trying to tear us down. So, take that fact to heart. They hate you because they are afraid of you.

Second, their program of isolation is failing. Rather than shrinking into obscurity on the fringes of society, liberty groups (at least in the U.S.) are growing into the mainstream consciousness. Not only that, but every time the establishment oversteps and violates people’s rights our influence grows. More people had their blinders removed in the first two years of the pandemic lockdowns than in the rest of the nearly 20 years I have been working within the alternative media. They are beginning to lose, and they know it.

Predictably, and according to basic Alinsky tactics, the establishment is trying to shift to new messages and new methods. The media has been beating Americans over the head the past year with the claim that certain information and certain even certain freedoms are in fact a “threat to our democracy.” But what does this mean, exactly?

Well, it’s an Orwellian perversion of a fundamental pillar of our society: “In order to protect your freedoms, we have to take them away. Or at least take them away from certain people that disagree with our ideology.”

The “threat to democracy” argument has been used in everything from COVID vaccination, election skeptics, the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk and the Jan. 6 protests. Now, we even have top political officials declaring that the release of previously restricted footage of the J6 event is a “threat to democracy.” Video evidence proving that an “insurrection” never happened could bring down our country, according to these people.

The calls for Tucker Carlson to be removed from Fox News and his reports silenced have been rampant. The new catch-all phrase “threat to democracy” is being swung wildly like a baseball bat in an Apple store. They claim it’s about maintaining faith in our election system, but really, it’s about maintaining faith in the establishment message. They are being exposed as foolish. They are being exposed as liars. If this continues, they might even face retribution, and that is what they are really preparing for.

When we hear incessant arguments asserting that the examination of facts and evidence is the same as “insurrection” it is because the establishment does in fact fear insurrection. Or more accurately, they fear rebellion.

There has long been a theory within the Liberty Movement that globalists would seek to create national division to deliberately instigate a civil war. The notion assumes that the money elites would be able to control the outcome in their favor. I disagree. I think what they really wanted was a minor insurgency, a small revolt of people they could simply label domestic terrorists that would be easily put down while at the same time using the chaos as an excuse to enforce unconstitutional provisions.

What they are getting is something much bigger than I think they expected. This is why they backed off the COVID mandates and the vaccine passports. They realized the movement to oppose them is much larger than a mere fringe.

The attempt to categorize certain speech, certain information and certain liberties as “anti-democracy” is a desperate measure to herd a large enough percentage of the population into a camp of rationalized tyranny. They couldn’t quite get enough people to support permanent medical authoritarianism, especially with the death rate of covid being so small, but maybe they can get a larger number of people to support greater control by appealing to their love of the democratic ideal?

Only people who are anti-freedom would want to rebel against a system based on democracy, right?

Except, our country is not a democracy and never was. We are supposed to be a Republic with individual rights protected regardless of the majority opinion. Beyond that, our system doesn’t qualify as a democracy anyway because our system is controlled through centralized influence of public opinion. You cannot have a majority rule when the majority doesn’t have access to factual information needed to make sound judgments.

The hypocrisy is evident. In order to “protect democracy” the elites claim that information must be controlled, and certain freedoms must be diminished. But in the process of instituting these controls, the information needed for a democracy to function is erased. All you have left afterward is technocratic oppression.

Freedom is not a threat to democracy. The truth is not a threat to our nation. Freedom and truth are only threats to tyrants. And if it becomes necessary to use truth and freedom to rebel, if it becomes necessary to destroy the corrupt systems tyrants have built, then so be it. That’s how America started, and we can always start over again.

To truth and knowledge,

Brandon Smith

America’s elites finally reveal their most hated enemy: Christians

Email by David Kupelian

Email Sent Mar 22, 2023, 7:01 AM

Email Sent Via WND

Dear friend of WND,

In case you haven’t heard, public schools in the United States of America are now opening up after-school Satan Clubs. Yes, you read that right. At the same time, Joe Biden just condemned any effort to stop the horrendous transgender surgeries mutilating America’s children as “close to sinful.” Meanwhile, a Minnesota lawmaker is complaining that “white Christians” who lovingly adopt needy Native American children are guilty of “genocide.”

I wonder if you detect the underlying reality behind these and so many of today’s news headlines?

As a Christian journalism organization, WND reports daily on the openly demonic agenda of the “Biden administration.” The ruinous inflation leading to the devastation of America’s economy and the current banking crisis, the intentional destruction of America’s fossil fuel industries, the intentional full-scale foreign invasion of America across our southern border, the perverse promotion of violent crime and the epidemic of fentanyl overdose deaths (the No. 1 cause of death for Americans 18 to 48), the weaponization of the FBI to harass, arrest and incarcerate Trump supporters, the orgy of grooming and recruiting America’s innocent kids into the ultra-dark transgender world, and so on.

But get this. Alongside all this unfolding degradation and rapid-fire societal destruction, something else remarkable is happening: The very same political, cultural and sexual revolutionaries responsible for today’s unprecedented chaos in America have finally dared to “come out” and publicly identify exactly WHO they consider to be their biggest enemy.

Christians.

That’s right, Christians are the enemy. That’s the hidden subtext to all the headlines, trends and outrages.

For years they’ve been beating around the bush, condemning conservative Christians with epithets ranging from “Trump supporters” and “white supremacists” to “the unvaccinated” and some mysterious entity called “QAnon.” Some of their attacks have been staggeringly stupid – like branding parents as “domestic terrorists” for standing up and complaining at school board meetings about teachers brainwashing their 6-year-olds with Marxist critical race theory. It seems that somehow every decent, patriotic, traditionally minded American these days is demonized as a “violent extremist” for one reason or another.

Now we know why.

Finally, the ruling elites have grown sufficiently brazen to openly identify the one group they consider as the TRUE AND ULTIMATE enemy of America, and that is sincere biblical Christians.

* “It’s becoming increasingly clear that the United States is under siege by Christian fundamentalists and traditionalists!” warns MSNBC’s Ja’han Jones.

* “Christian Nationalism Is The ‘Single Biggest Threat’ to America’s Religious Freedom,” announces the Center for American Progress.

* “[The Republican Party is] a movement dedicated to imposing White Christian nationalism,” insists the Washington Post’s pretend “conservative,” Jennifer Rubin.

* “If Christian Nationalism isn’t essentially domestic terrorism, then I don’t know what is,” opines Cari Marshall of the Texas Democracy Foundation, who goes on to explain the methods of all those supposedly violent Christian extremists: “They simultaneously weaponize the Bible and the Constitution to justify their wanton disregard for the views and safety of others and their insatiable lust for weapons and violence.”

Allow me to translate.

What’s REALLY happening is the ruling elite’s fear and loathing of Christianity – you know, the faith that once made America the freest and most wonderful nation in history, the once-widespread belief that the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount provide the basis for a good life and a strong, healthy, truly decent society – that hatred is now boiling over.

To the hard Left, Christians ARE racists … and Nazis, and terrorists and fascists. (Or as Biden called conservative Christians during one recent speech, “semi-fascists.”) But in reality, what’s actually going on is that the Left has always been at war with Almighty God and His laws and His ways. They are in perpetual rebellion against the Creator of the Universe, because Marxism – by definition – amounts to hatred and rejection of God so that human “saviors” can create paradise on earth. With them in charge, of course. That, in turn, always ends up being hell on earth, with the 20th century the bloodiest in all of human history, thanks to the very types of God-hating utopians who, right now, are maniacally obsessed with ruling America.

Today’s finally-out-in-the-open hatred of Christianity and Christians explains a lot – including the unprecedented censorship, vilification, demonization and cancellation of genuinely conservative, Christian, pro-American voices. Which of course includes the ceaseless attacks on WND, America’s original independent online Christian journalism organization, now weeks away from launching into its 27th consecutive year of 24/7 operation.

In fact, it explains in a dramatic way why we at WND are experiencing another huge wave of attacks on us as we, as Christian journalists, (figuratively) stand on the rooftops daily and shout the truth in the midst of a political culture steeped in lies and evil.

I won’t burden you with a detailed litany of all the attacks we’ve endured. You’ve heard many of them before – all the Big Tech banning, demonetization, suppression, defamation, destruction of our advertising and so on, including a few months back Google’s unprecedented 11-day global blacklist of WND.

Without listing the many challenges we’re still facing, I just want to appeal to you to understand – and hopefully act on that understanding – that in the current openly anti-Christian era, the ONLY way a bold Christian news organization can possibly carry on is with strong support from those who value its continued existence.

There’s simply no other way forward for us – we have no billionaire sugar daddy like George Soros, and Big Tech has pretty much wrecked the advertising-based business model for news that supported us for years. In truth, a LOT of people are gunning for us. The only countervailing force that can save us from the continual, multi-pronged assault on our existence … is YOU.

So if you value and appreciate WND and want to see it continue, please support us financially. It is just as simple as that. There is no other way we will be able to carry on.

The grace of God and the generosity of donors has gotten us this far. Thank you sincerely for all your past support.

But we need your ongoing help, to cover our costs and make payroll for our fantastic group of journalists, all of whom have taken significant pay cuts and missed paychecks entirely, yet who have stayed with us for the past two decades!

Here’s how you can help:

Please prayerfully consider making a generous tax-deductible donation to the 501c3 Christian nonprofit charity, the WND News Center. You can make either a one-time donation or a monthly recurring donation, by credit card or PayPal. Whatever you can do is enormously appreciated.

You may also mail your tax-deductible contribution by making your check out to “WND News Center” and mailing it to: WND News Center, P.O. Box 100, 580 E Street, Hawthorne, NV 89415-0100.

For still other ways to help, please check out HELP WND.

Thank you so very much for helping in any way you are now moved to, during this tumultuous but critically important time for us all.

May God bless you and yours,

Federal Reserve announces July launch of central bank digital currency infrastructure

A financial expert has warned that FedNow lays out the foundation for a central bank digital currency by centralizing all participating banks under the Federal Reserve.

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell – CNBC Television / YouTube

By Emily Mangiaracina

Mar 17, 2023 – 1:59 pm EDT

LifeSiteNews

(LifeSiteNews) — The Federal Reserve on Wednesday announced a July launch of its FedNow service, which will enable all U.S. banks to offer instant payments 24/7, and will constitute the infrastructure of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) by linking each banking node directly to the Federal Reserve, according to financial experts.

FedNow “will enable all the banks — any bank in the United States, not just the big ones — to offer instantly available funds in real-time payments to their customers”, explained Fed Chair Jerome Powell before the House Financial Services Committee on March 8.

According to a Federal Reserve press release, “many early adopters” plan on using the FedNow service in July upon its launch, “including a diverse mix of financial institutions of all sizes, the largest processors, and the U.S. Treasury.”

However, FedNow program executive Ken Montgomery noted that “growing the network of participating financial institutions will be key” to greater availability of the FedNow service.

Cointelegraph pointed out that FedNow could “stand in place of a central-bank-issued digital currency.”

While Federal Reserve Vice Chair Lael Brainard maintained during a House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services hearing in May that a CBDC could take five years to launch due to needed security and design features, she added that FedNow will still serve many of the same functions as a CBDC, according to the financial news outlet.

Financial advisor Joe Brown has warned that FedNow serves as the foundation, or “infrastructure” for a CBDC, bringing the country only a step away from deployment of a central bank digital currency once the FedNow system is fully functioning.

Regarding FedNow, Brown explained on his video blog, “This infrastructure bypasses a lot of the need for the current banking infrastructure, which is the purpose of a central bank digital currency.”

“Eventually, every single economic participant has an account directly with the Federal Reserve, the central bank, and then you don’t need any of the decentralized nodes of the financial system, the previously existing banks,” said Brown.

“This transforms the purpose of the entire banking system really into infrastructure for the CBDC,” he continued, noting that it would “centralize everything under one roof.”

“And once that system is built, once all the kinks are worked out of the system … then they will have the foundation in place to build the Gen 2, the Version 2 CBDC on top of it. The only thing that would be left to do would be to have everybody open an account directly with the Fed.”

Brown believes the foundational CBDC technology is being rolled out “slowly” and independently of a full CBDC so that it doesn’t “look like a power grab.”

“Otherwise everyone would reject it. Everyone in their right minds would look at this thing and say, ‘Absolutely not,’” noted Brown, adding that the gradual implementation is also needed to test its component parts in “baby steps” and make sure the CBDC doesn’t fail “flat on [its] face.”

“But make no mistake, a central bank digital currency is coming and it looks like this new FedNow service is just the launch of the infrastructure for launching the full version of the CBDC later on,” said Brown.

Critics have increasingly warned in recent years that CBDCs enable full-blown tyranny by allowing the government to restrict or even freeze a citizen’s purchasing power, thereby coercing its constituents into submitting to its decrees.

The World’s Largest CBDC Trial: A Preview of the Elite’s Cashless Vision for You

Surveillance CBDC

Posted by Administrator

Guest Post by Nick Giambruno

March 21, 2023

The Burning Platform

The eNaira is Africa’s first central bank digital currency (CBDC).

Central bankers, academics, politicians, and an assortment of elites from over 100 countries hoping to launch their own CBDCs have closely followed the eNaira.

They used Nigeria—Africa’s largest country by population and size of its economy—as a trial balloon to test their nefarious plans to eliminate cash in North America, Europe, and beyond.

Are you concerned about CBDCs?

Then you should be paying attention to what is happening in Nigeria.

That’s because there’s an excellent chance your government will reach for the same playbook when they decide to impose CBDCs in your area—which could be soon.

CBDCs enable all sorts of horrible, totalitarian things.

They allow governments to track and control every penny you earn, save, and spend. They are a powerful tool for politicians to confiscate and redistribute wealth as they see fit.

CBDCs will also enable devious social engineering by allowing governments to punish and reward people in ways they previously couldn’t.

CBDCs are, without a doubt, an instrument of enslavement. They represent a quantum leap backward in human freedom.

Unfortunately, they’re coming soon…

Governments will probably mandate CBDCs as the “solution” when the next real or contrived crisis hits—which is likely not far off.

That’s why you must pay attention to what is happening in Nigeria. That way, you can know what to expect and take preventative action.

Here are the top five insights from the eNaira.

Insight #1: Don’t Take the Bait… Reject CBDC Incentives

In Nigeria, the government implemented discounts and other incentives to increase the adoption of eNaira.

In North America and Europe, expect the government to require CBDCs to receive welfare payments, a potential universal basic income, so-called “inflation relief checks,” or whatever the next cockamamie scheme is.

Think of these incentives like the cheese in a mousetrap.

Insight #2: Simultaneous Moves To Eliminate Cash

To help boost eNaira adoption, the Nigerian government announced a plan to remove the legal tender status of various high denomination bills, rendering them worthless.

According to the World Bank, over 55% of the adult population in Nigeria does not have a bank account and is dependent on physical cash.

The Nigerian government must have known phasing out cash would be a disaster for a majority of the population, but they plowed ahead anyways—so much for democracy.

When your government imposes a CBDC, expect simultaneous measures to force people out of cash, regardless of the costs.

Those measures could come in many flavors, but I would bet they would first look to phase out large denomination bills by removing their legal tender status.

We’re already seeing this happen…

For example, the EU has already phased out the 500 euro note.

The $100 bill is the largest in circulation in the US, but that wasn’t always the case. At one point, the US had $500, $1,000, $5,000, and even $10,000 bills.

Ten Thousand $Dollar$ Bill

The government eliminated these large bills in 1969 under the pretext of fighting the War on (Some) Drugs.

The $100 bill has been the largest ever since. But it has far less purchasing power than it did in 1969. Decades of rampant money printing have debased the dollar. Today, a $100 note buys less than $12 in 1969.

Even though the Federal Reserve has devalued the dollar by over 88% since 1969, it still refuses to issue notes larger than $100.

With CBDCs on the horizon, I think the US government will not only never issue another bill higher than $100 but will probably look to phase out the $100 bill under various pretexts.

Insight #3: Bank Restrictions

Most people think of the money they deposit into the bank as a personal asset they own.

But that’s not true.

Once you deposit money at the bank, it’s no longer your property. Instead, it’s the bank’s, and they can pretty much do whatever they want with it.

What you really own is the bank’s promise to pay you back. It’s an unsecured liability, which makes you technically and legally a creditor of the bank.

And since the banking system is intertwined with the government everywhere, it’s only prudent to expect governments to place more restrictions on bank accounts as CBDCs debut.

This is exactly what happened in Nigeria.

Cash withdrawal limits and debit card transaction restrictions were imposed, among other measures. In addition, capital controls made it challenging to send money out of the country.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the forced conversion of bank deposits into the eNaira—at an unfavorable rate.

Here’s the bottom line. Expect all sorts of restrictions—and possible confiscations—to be imposed on bank accounts when a CBDC is released.

Insight #4: Rising Inflation

Amid the eNaira rollout, Nigeria is experiencing some of the highest inflation levels in its history.

This is not surprising. CBDCs make it even easier for the government to debase the currency.

So, it’s reasonable to expect more inflation when CBDCs come to town.

Insight #5: Social Unrest

In another predictable development, frustrated Nigerians took to the streets over the government’s actions to restrict cash and bank accounts. There was a violent scramble to exchange old notes before the government deemed them worthless. Riots broke out in several locations.

There’s an excellent chance the destructive restrictions imposed alongside CBDCs could create social unrest anywhere.

Conclusion

To summarize, here are the top five insights from Nigeria’s CBDC experience.

Insight #1: Don’t Take the Bait… Reject CBDC Incentives

Insight #2: Simultaneous Moves To Eliminate Cash

Insight #3: Bank Restrictions

Insight #4: Rising Inflation

Insight #5: Social Unrest

As CBDCs come to your neighborhood, you now know what to expect.

Governments will probably mandate CBDCs as the “solution” when the next real or contrived crisis hits—which is likely not far off.

There’s an excellent chance more inflation and financial chaos is coming soon.

Here’s a title that should pique the interest of every Liberty-loving American (and those seeking Freedom in the one-time Free Western World): “How the West Was Won: Counterinsurgency, PSYOPS and the Military Origins of the Internet.” The title comes originally from a website called The Cogent which evidently is operated by Dustin Broadbery. At The Cogent the title comes in two parts posted on the same day (3/4/22).

I first discovered the title of Part One posting at the Activist Post dated 3/7/22. Then I found the Part Two posting at the NWO Report on 3/9/22.

Both the Activist Post and the NWO Report use the same image attention hook which I will use at the top of this page. In cross posting I will us The Cogent image hook of the original.

I suspect I’m behind the old 8-ball because I have no idea who Dustin Broadbery is. In a not to thorough search, I could only find profile info at Muck Rack which reads:

Dustin Broadbery

  • Freelance Writer, Freelance
  • London
  • Media, Politics, Technology
  • As seen in: Activist Post, The Conservative Woman
  • Covers Geopolitics, biosecurity, activism, technology and philanthropy

The globalised takeover of our commons is being orchestrated by a handful of elites so small in number you could fit them into one prison cell thecogent.org

Muck Rack then links to a few Broadbery articles and throws in his Twitter feed. My guess is Broadbery is of British origin because the spelling and grammar in the posts are traditional British usage.

Now to the cross posts.

Part One is a fantastic history of the emergence of the Internet developed initially as a psyop tool by the military which someone stumbled upon the concept of controlling people via social monitoring.

Part Two goes through the history of social engineering psyops to initially infiltrate Leftist (think Communist) operations through today to infiltrate ordinary citizen thinking that might be an enemy of government-think. For example: If you are a Bill of Rights, Flag-Waving Patriot and believer of the Christian influence in America’s Heritage; YOU MIGHT BE a domestic terrorist. WHY? Because you’d be contrary to the current government-think.

I am cross posting both parts which are quite lengthy. So, you might want to bookmark it to read as you have time. I believe you will be surprised at what you know and don’t know. In the lifespan that remains for me, trusting my government is not an option.

The Cogent

Part 1: Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth

As the digital revolution was underway in the mid-nineties, research departments at the CIA and NSA were developing programs to predict the usefulness of the world wide web as a tool for capturing what they dubbed “birds of a feather” formations. That’s when flocks of sparrows make sudden movements together in rhythmical patterns.

They were particularly interested in how these principles would influence the way that people would eventually move together on the burgeoning internet: Would groups and communities move together in the same way as ‘birds of a feather, so that they could be tracked in an organised way? And if their movements could be indexed and recorded, could they be identified later by their digital fingerprints?

To answer these questions, the CIA and NSA established a series of initiatives called Massive Digital Data Systems (MDDS) to directly fund tech entrepreneurs through an inter-university disbursement program. Naming their first unclassified briefing for computer scientists ‘birds of a feather,’ which took place in San Jose in the spring of 1995.

Amongst the first grants provided by the MDDS program to capture the ‘birds of a feather’ theory towards building a massive digital library and indexing system – using the internet as its backbone – were dispersed to two Stanford University PHD’s, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, who were making significant headways in the development of web-page ranking technology that would track user movements online.

Those disbursements, together with $4.5 million in grants from a multi-agency consortium including NASA and DARPA, became the seed funding that was used to establish Google

Eventually MDDS was integrated into DARPA’s global eavesdropping and data-mining activities that would attempt total information awareness over US citizens. Few understand the extent to which Silicon Valley is the alter-ego of Pentagon-land, even fewer realise the impact this has had on the social sphere. But the story does not begin with Google, nor the military origins of the internet, it goes back much further in time, to the dawn of counterinsurgency and PSYOPs during the second world war.

The Dawn of PSYOPs

According to historian Joy Rhodes, a renowned physicist told U.S. defence secretary Robert McNamara in 1961:

While World War I might have been considered the chemists’ war, and World War II was considered the physicists’ war, World War III . . . might well have to be considered the social scientists’ war.”

The intersection of social science and military intelligence is recognised by the US Army to have begun during WW1 when pre-war journalist Captain Blankenhorn established the Psychological Subsection in the War Department to coordinate combat propaganda.

These grey-area operations, as they become known, plateaued during world war II, when military strategists, building on wartime research in crowd psychology, drafted social scientists into the war effort through the Office of Scientific Research and Development (OSRD). The office would aggregate information about the German people and develop propaganda and psychological operations (PSYOPS) to lower their morale. This culminated in 1942, with the US federal government becoming the leading employer of psychologists in the US.

OSRD was an early administration of the Manhattan Project and responsible for important wartime developments in technology, including radar. The agency was Directed by engineer and inventor, Vannevar Bush – a key player in the history of computing, known for his work on The Memex, an early hypothetical computer device, that would store and index a user’s books, records and other information, and which would go on to inspire most major advancements in the development of personal computers over the next 70 years.

As the second world war ended, and a new threat emerged from post war ravaged Europe, scholars and soldiers once again reunited to defeat an invisible and aggressively expansionist adversary. Though this opponent may sound like COVID-19, it was in fact the Soviet Union.

Across the Soviet satellites in Europe and in the nations threatened by communism in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, cold war special operations, as they become known, were a nebulous category of military activity that included psychological and political warfare, guerrilla operations and counterinsurgency. To mobilise these ‘special warfare tactics’ the army established the Office of the Chief of Psychological Warfare (OCPW) in 1951, whose mission was to recruit, organise, equip, train, and provide doctrinal support to Psywarriors.

The office was directed by General Robert McClure, a founding father of psychological warfare and friend of the Shah of Iran, who was instrumental in the overthrow of Mohammad Mosaddegh in the 1953 Iranian coup d’état.

Integral to the projects of McClure’s OCPW, was a quasi-academic institution with a long history of military service called the Human Relations Area Files (HRAF). Founded by anthropologist turned FBI whistle-blower George Murdock, HRAF was set up to collect and standardise data on primitive cultures around the world. During WW2 its researchers worked hand in glove with naval intelligence to develop propaganda materials that would help the US liberate pacific nations from Japanese control. By 1954, the department had grown into an inter-university consortium of 16 academic institutions, funded by the army, CIA, and private philanthropies.

In 1954 the OCPW negotiated a contract with the HRAF to author a series of special warfare handbooks, disguised as scholarship, that sought to understand the intellectual and emotional character of strategically important people, particularly their thoughts, motivations and actions, with entire chapters compiled on the attitudes and subversive potentials of foreign nationals, while other chapters focused on the means of transmitting propaganda in each target nation, whether news, radio or word of mouth. This was, of course, decades before the internet.

SORO

In 1956, the Special Operations Research Office (SORO) emerged from these programs. Charged with managing the US Army’s psychological and unconventional warfare tactics during the cold war and taking the work of HRAF to the next level, SORO set about the monumental task of defining the political and social causes of Communist revolution, the laws governing social change and the theories of communication and persuasion that could be used to transform public perception.

SORO formed a central component of the Pentagons militarisation of social research, and particularly the ideas and doctrine that would usher in a gradual shift towards an American-led world order. Its research team was located on the campus of American University in Washington, D.C, and comprised the era’s pre-eminent intellectuals and academics. SORO’s ensemble team, from the fields of psychology, sociology and anthropology, would immerse themselves in social system theory, analysing the society and culture of numerous target countries, particularly in Latin America, while confronting the universal laws governing social behaviour and the mechanisms of communication and persuasion in each jurisdiction. If the US Army could understand the psychological factors that sparked revolution, they could, in theory, predict and intercept revolutions before they got off the ground.

SORO was part of a rapidly expanding nexus of federally Funded Research Centres (FCRC’s), that reoriented academia towards national security interests. Working at the intersection of science and the state, SORON’s, as they were known, advocated for an expert-directed democracy, regardless of the totalitarian consequences of social engineers and technocrats acquiring control over the thoughts, actions, and values of ordinary people.

In those early days of the cold war, academics and scientists working at the intersection of military and academia firmly believed that intellectuals should guide geopolitics. This was accepted as the most stable form of governance to take the free world into the next century. It explains how we have arrived under the rubric of the ‘settled science’ today. Or at least, policies masquerading as science. From the biosecurity state to the fundamentalism of climate science, much of what was achieved in those golden years of militarised social research shapes the twenty first century.

By 1962, sixty-six federally funded military research institutions were in operation. Between 1951 to 1967, the number tripled, while funding skyrocketed from $122 million to $1.6 billion.

But as opposition to the Vietnam War intensified in the 1960s, a growing number of intellectuals, policymakers and academics became increasingly concerned that the national security state was morphing into the statist, globalist force it had been fighting during the cold war and began publicly criticising Pentagon-funded social scientists as technocratic social engineers. This inspired a wave of discontent for the militarisation of social research to grip America, culminating in 1969 with American University’s administrators banishing SORO from their campus and severing ties with their military partners. The move was endemic of the changing attitude towards these grey area special operations and resulted in the 1960’s and 1970’s with the excommunication of military research centres from university campuses across the US. A move that forced the military to look elsewhere – towards the private sector for their alternative warfare capabilities. Following a long tradition of public-private military cooperation, from the Rand Corporation to the Smithsonian Group, these quasi-private institutions were being spun-out of the military at a rate of knots since the 1940’s.

Project Camelot

One of the programs conceived by SORO was ‘Methods for Predicting and Influencing Social Change and Internal War Potential. Codenamed Project Camelot, the landmark program sought to understand the causes of social revolution and identify actions, within the realm of behavioural science, that could be taken to suppress insurrection. The goal, according to defence analyst, Joy Rhodes, was ‘to build a radar system for left wing revolutionaries.’ A sort of ‘computerised early warning system that could predict and prevent political movements before they ever got off the ground.’

‘This computer system’ writes Joy Rhodes, ‘could check up to date intelligence against a list of preconditions, and revolutions could be stopped before the instigators even knew they were headed down the path of revolution.’

The research collected by Project Camelot would produce predictive models of the revolutionary process and profile what social scientists deemed ‘revolutionary tendencies and traits.’ It was anticipated that such knowledge would not only help military leaders anticipate the trajectory of social change, but it would also enable them to design effective interventions that could, in theory, channel or suppress change in ways that were favourable to U.S. foreign policy interests.

It was intended that the information gathered by Project Camelot would funnel into a large ‘computerised database’ for forecasting, social engineering, and counterinsurgency, that could be tapped at any time by the military and intelligence community.

But the project was beleaguered by controversy when academics in South America discovered its military funding and imperialism motives.

The ensuing backlash resulted in Project Camelot being, ostensibly, shut down, though the core of its project survived. Multiple military research projects picked up on Project Camelot’s ‘early warning radar system for left wing revolutionaries,’ while its computerised database for ‘forecasting, social engineering, and counterinsurgency’ went onto inspire a nascent technology developed in the years to come, that would eventually become known to the world as the internet.

The Military Origins of the Internet

At the height of the Cold War, US military commanders were pursuing a decentralised computer communications system without a base of operations or headquarters, that could withstand a Soviet strike, without blacking-out or destroying the entire network.

The project was coordinated by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), created by President Eisenhower in 1958, for the development of technologies that would expand the frontiers of science and technology and help the US close the missile gap with the Soviets.

DARPA has since been at the vanguard of every major advancement in the development of personal computers ever since the cold war, culminating in 1969 with the first computers being in universities across the US.

A few years later DARPA would develop the protocols to enable connected computers to communicate transparently across multiple networks. Known as The Internetting Project, DARPA’s prototypical communications network, the ARPANET, was born in 1973.

The project was eventually transferred to the Defence Communications Agency and integrated into the numerous new networks that had emerged. By 1983 the ARPANET was divided into two constituents: MILNET to be used by military and defence agencies, while the civilian version would retain the ARPANET handle.

Fast forward to 1990 and the ARPANET was officially decommissioned, and the Internet privatised to a consortium of corporations including IBM and MCI. Eventually the federal government created a dozen or so network providers and spun them off to the private sector, building companies that would become the backbone of today’s internet, including Verizon Time-Warner, AT&T and Comcast. That’s the same six corporations who not only own 90% of US media outlets, they control the flow of global communications, through a process of absolute vertical-horizontal alignment of legacy media with digital media, and the infrastructures and technologies that enable their mass communication, including cable, satellite and wireless, the devices and hardware, software and operating systems

J.C.R. Licklider

A central player in the development of the ARPANET, who many consider the founding father of computing, was American psychologist, J. C. R. Licklider.

Lick, as he was known, was the first Director of the agency tasked with executing DARPA’s information technology programs, The Information Processing Techniques Office (IPTO), that has been responsible for just about major advancement in computer communications since the sixties.

As Stephen J. Lukasik, a contributor to the ARPANET project reflected in his paper ‘ ‘Why the Arpanet Was Built ‘Lick saw information technology and behavioural and cognitive science issues as connected.’

‘Lick was essentially predicting how the internet would go on to evoke real world social processes that would radically transform how we communicate, organise and process information. It is no coincidence that a psychologist of ‘Licks calibre was at the vanguard of a new technology designed to exploit basic vulnerabilities in the human psyche.

In the 1960’s Lick oversaw DARPA’s strategic interest in the new frontier of information technology, called Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI’s). In his famous paper, considered one of the most important in the history of computing, Lick put forward the then radical idea that the human mind would one day merge seamlessly with computers. He was anticipating the evolution of AI and the role that DARPA would go on to play in funding just about every major advancement in BCI technology over eight decades, including Elon Musk’s fully-implanted, wireless, brain-machine interface company, Neuralink.

The Vietnam War

The ARPANET brought together the Pentagon’s war machine with university research departments and the Bay area’s counterculture scene. Inspiring much of the anecdotal idealism that would define the early years of cyberspace as a liberating new frontier for humanity. Cyberspace, it was lauded by its early adopters, would free information and provide universal connectivity. The realms of possibility were, indeed, endless.

But war hawks and intelligence analysts had other ideas. If the lessons of the Vietnam war were anything to go by, the future of US warfare would not be with nation states, it would be with ideologies, or more specifically, grassroots movements, such as the Viet Cong, who had the power to stoke the flames of civil unrest, that could lead to uprisings, or worse, revolution. Alternative approaches were, therefore, needed to infiltrate and disrupt this new threat to the free world.

As the war raged in Southeast Asia, another psychology PHD, Robert Taylor, joined DARPA as the agency’s third director. Taylor transferred to Vietnam in 1967, to establish the first computer centre at the Military Assistance Command base in Saigon, a central pillar in the DoD’s psychological warfare operations. The move was endemic of the changing rules of military engagement that saw DARPA, and indeed, this new technology, playing a major role in the war effort, both in Southeast Asia, and at home on US soil, against the growing anti-war movement.

In 1968, Taylor and ‘Lick published their seminal paper “The Computer as a Communication Device.” Laying out the future of what the Internet would eventually become. The paper began with the visionary statement: “In a few years, men will be able to communicate more effectively through a machine than face to face.” Anticipating the meteoric rise of social media, particularly Facebook, in the decades to come.

Bringing the PSYOP Back Home

The origins of Facebook coincide with a controversial military program that was mysteriously shut down the same year Facebook launched.

The military program in question, LifeLog, was developed by DARPA’s Information Processing Techniques Office, with the stated aim of creating a permanent and searchable electronic diary of a person’s entire life – a dataset of their most personal information, including their movements, conversations, connections, and everything they listened to, watched, read and bought.

But would people willingly give up a record of their private lives to a military intelligence social media platform?

Probably not. Enter Facebook.

LifeLog, meanwhile, was ostensibly shut down, but this was not the first nor the last time that a project of this magnitude would be proposed.

In a 1945 article for The Atlantic, Vannevar Bush who, the reader will recall, directed the US Army’s psychological operations during World War II, discussed his hypothetical project, The Memex, as a device “in which an individual stores all his books, records and communications, and which is mechanised so that it may be consulted with exceeding speed and flexibility.”

In immortalising people’s lives, it was hoped that LifeLog would eventually contribute to the emerging field of artificial intelligence (AI), that would one day think just like a human, intersecting with another DARPA backed project – the Personal Assistant That Learns (PAL) – a cognitive computing system designed to make military decision-making more efficient, which was eventually spun-off as Siri, the virtual assistant on Apple’s operating system, present in the homes of 1 billion unsuspecting people.

But LifeLog is just one part of the story. There was another DARPA program that also ‘disappeared’ one year before Facebook made its debut. Often cited as the precursor to Facebook. The Information Awareness Office (IAO) brought together several DARPA surveillance and information technology projects including MDDS which provided Google’s seed funding.

The stated aim of the IAO was to gather and store the personal information of every US citizen, including their personal emails, social networks, lifestyles, credit card records, phone calls, medical records, without, of course, the need for a search warrant. This information would funnel back to intelligence agencies, under the guise of predicting and preventing terrorist incidents before they happened. Reminiscent of Project Camelot’s early warning radar system for left wing revolutionaries.

Despite the government, apparently, abandoning their gambit for total information awareness over ordinary Americans, the core of the project survived.

I draw your attention to Palantir, the spooky data analytics firm founded by Facebook’s board member, Peter Thiel.

Portrayed as science fiction in the firm Minority Report, Palantir’s predictive policing analytics have been deployed extensively against insurgents in Iraq and by police departments in the US.

This is, of course, nothing new for the Chinese. The convergence of big tech data analytics with China’s social credits system has been used for many years to weed out and punish dissidents who can find themselves held indefinitely without charge or trial in political re-education camps for holding the wrong set of political beliefs.

But it must also be accepted, these Orwellian methods of repression did not originate in China. The encroachment of the CIA onto the public sphere has been happening since the 1960’s, when the US imported decades of counterinsurgency from the soviet satellites to tackle the anti-war and civil rights movements. This was ramped up in the wake of 9/11. And now through the backdoor of COVID-19 total information awareness is coming home to roost, as China’s social credits system has been implemented on the back of the Green Pass.

Before anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists, you had civil rights and anti-war activists. The ideology guiding dissent may have changed, but the military tactics used to counter it remain the same.

The Cogent

Part 2: The War is Over, The Good Guys Lost

If insurgency is defined as an organised political struggle by a hostile minority, attempting to seize power through revolutionary means, then counterinsurgency is the military doctrine historically used against non-state actors, that sets out to infiltrate and eradicate those movements.

Unlike conventional soldiers, insurgents are considered dangerous, not because of their physical presence on the battlefield, but because of their ideology.

As David Galula, a French commander who was an expert in counterinsurgency warfare during the Algerian War, emphasised:

“In any situation, whatever the cause, there will be an active minority for the cause, a neutral majority, and an active minority against the cause. The technique of power consists in relying on the favourable minority in order to rally the neutral majority and to neutralise or eliminate the hostile minority.”

Overtime, however, the intelligence state lost touch with reality, as the focus of its counterinsurgency programs shifted from foreign to domestic populations, from national security risks to ordinary citizens. Particularly in the wake of 9/11, when the NSA and its British counterpart, GCHQ, began mapping out the Internet.

Thanks to Edward Snowden’s revelations in 2013, we now know that the NSA were collecting 200 billion pieces of data every month, including the cell phone records, emails, web searches and live chats of more than 200 million ordinary Americans. This was extracted from the world’s largest internet companies via a lesser-known, data mining program called Prism.

There’s another name for this, and its total information awareness. The highest attainment of a paranoid state seeking absolute control over its population. What ceases to be worth the candle is that peoples right to privacy is enshrined under the US Constitution’s fourth amendment.

Few understand how lockdowns are ripples on these troubled waters. Decades of counterinsurgency waged against one subset of society, branded insurgents for their Marxist ideals has, overtime, shifted to anyone holding anti-establishment views. The predictive policing of track and trace and the theory of asymptomatic transmission are the unwelcome repercussions of the intelligence state seeking total information awareness over its citizens.

Throughout COVID-19 anyone audacious enough to want to think for themselves or do their own research has had a target painted on their back. But according to the EU, one third of Europe is unvaccinated. This correlates precisely with David Galula’s theory of counterinsurgency, that suggests one third of society is the active minority ‘against the cause,’ who must be neutralised or eliminated.

And for good reason. People are within sniffing distance of mobilising popular support from the neutral majority and toppling the house of cards. What follows is a protracted campaign by the establishment to neutralise the opposition.

It was not so long ago that journalists were called muckrakers, for digging up dirt on Robber Barrons who, overtime, learned how to throw muck back, using smear and innuendo, such as ‘conspiracy theorists’, ‘anti-vaxxer’ and ‘right-wing extremist.’

When Domestic Populations Become the Battlefield

The use of counterinsurgency in the UK goes back to colonial India in the 1800s. According to historians, this is the first time the British government used methods of repression and social control against indigenous communities who were audacious enough to want to liberate their homeland from Imperialist rule.

Counterinsurgency was used extensively during The Troubles in Northern Ireland against another anti-imperialist faction, also looking to liberate their homeland from The Crown. Much of the lessons learned in Northern Ireland were later transferred into the everyday policing and criminal justice policies of mainland Britain. And it wasn’t just dissenters who were targeted by these operations, it was anyone with left wing ideals, particularly trade unionists who, it could be argued, were conspiring with the Kremlin to overthrow parliamentary democracy.

I draw your attention to the spying and dirty tricks operations against the 1980s miners’ strike. This continued right up until 2012, when the police and intelligence communities were implicated in a plot to blacklist construction industry workers deemed troublesome for their union views. The existence of a secret blacklist was first exposed in 2009, when investigators from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) raided an unassuming office in Droitwich, Worcestershire, and discovered an extensive database used by construction firms to vet and ultimately blacklist workers belonging to trade unions. More than 40 construction firms, including Balfour Beatty and Sir Robert McAlpine, had been funding the confidential database and keeping people out of work for many years.

If you want to know what happened to the left, look no further than Project Camelot’s early warning radar system for left wing revolutionaries. Decades of infiltration has recalibrated the left into genuflections of establishment interests. It was the unions who scuppered the easing of lockdowns in the UK and consistently called on the Department of Education to postpone the reopening of schools. This is despite the impact which school closures had on marginalised families, who were statistically more at risk from the fallout of lockdowns, and supposedly represented by union interests.

From the infiltration of unions to the co-option of activism, a judge-led public enquiry in 2016 revealed 144 undercover police operations had infiltrated and spied on more than 1,000 political groups in long term deployments since 1968. With covert spymasters rising in the ranks to hold influential leadership positions, guiding policy and strategy, and in some cases, radicalising those movements from within to damage their reputation and weaken public support.

We also need to talk about big philanthropy. George Soros’ Open Foundation is the largest global donor to the twenty-first century’s equivalent of activist groups. The agitprop used in the former Soviet Union evolved, overtime, into the masthead of Extinction Rebellion. A motley crew of eco-warriors courted by high profile financial donors and aligned ideologically with the very multinational energy corporations they are supposedly at odds with. The theory of climate change came out of the UN, organiser of COP20, for what reason ER had to protest the event is anyone’s guess.

ER doner, George Soros, is also a seed investor in Avaaz, often cited as the world’s largest and most powerful online activist network. When the US was on the brink of insurrection, following the first lockdown, Black Lives Matter entered the fray, not so much a grassroots movement, but a proxy for the Democrats to essentially redirect the public’s outrage against lockdowns into the wrong, established-endorsed cause.

Counterinsurgency in the US

In the US, COINTELPRO was a series of illegal operations conducted by the FBI between 1956-1971, to disrupt, discredit and neutralise anyone considered a threat to national security. In the loosest possible definition, this included members of the Women’s Liberation Movement and even the Boy Scouts of America.

And it wasn’t just the customary wiretapping, infiltration and media manipulation, the FBI committed blackmail and murder.

Take for example the infamous forced suicide letter addressed to Martin Luther King that threatened to release a sex tape of the civil rights leaders’ extramarital activities, unless he took his own life. Consider also the FBI’s assassination of Black Panther Party chairman Fred Hampton.

In the 1960’s a Washington Post expose by army intelligence whistle-blower, Christopher Pyle, revealed a massive surveillance operation run by the Army, called CONUS Intel, involving thousands of undercover military agents infiltrating and spying on virtually everybody active on what they deemed ‘civil disturbances.’ It turns out, many of those targeted had done nothing even remotely subversive, unless you consider attending a left-wing college presentation or church meeting, revolutionary.

These programs came to a head in the 1970’s, when an investigation by the US Senate, conducted by the Church Committee, uncovered decades of serious, systemic abuse by the CIA. This included intercepting the mail and eavesdropping on the telephone calls of civil rights and anti-war leaders over two decades. As if predicting the internet as an instrument for mass surveillance, Senator Frank Church warned that the NSA’s capabilities could “at any time could be turned around on the American people.”

And turned around they were.

USAGM

Before the internet, the deployment of PSYOPS was limited to legacy media and permitted only on foreign soil. But that all changed in 2013, when the government granted themselves permission to target ordinary Americans.

Conceived at the end of the cold war as the Broadcasting Board of Governors, USAGM is a lesser-known government agency charged with broadcasting thousands of weekly hours of US propaganda to foreign audiences, that has played a major role in pushing pro-American stories to former Soviet Bloc countries ever since Perestroika.

Ostensibly concerned with maintaining US interests abroad, USAGM has also been the primary funder of the Tor Project since inception. Tor, also known as The Onion Browser, is the mainstay of encrypted, anonymous search used by activists, hackers, and the anonymous community, if you can get your head around the fact that the confidential internet activity of anarchists has been framed by a PSYOP since the get-go.

For decades an anti-propaganda law, known as the Smith-Mundt Act, made it illegal for the government to conduct PSYOPS against US citizens. But that all changed in 2013 when the National Defence Authorization Act repealed that law and granted USAGM a licence to broadcast pro-government propaganda inside the United States.

To what extent US citizens are being targeted by propaganda is anyone’s guess, since PSYOPS largely take place online, where it’s difficult to distinguish between foreign and domestic audiences.

What we do know is that in 2009 the military budget for winning hearts and minds at home and abroad had grown by 63% to $4.7 billion annually. At that time the Pentagon accounted for more than half the Federal Government’s $1 billion PR Budget.

An Associated Press (AP) investigation in 2016 revealed that the Pentagon employed a staggering 40% of the 5,000 working in the Federal Government’s PR machines, with the Department of Defence, far and wide, the largest and most expensive PR operation of the United States government, spending more money on public relations than all other departments combined.

Things are not so different in the UK.

During COVID-19 the British government became the biggest national advertiser. Even tick tock and snapchat were deployed by the Scottish government to push COVID PSYOPS to children.

Last year Boris Johnson announced record defence spending for an artificial intelligence agency and the creation of a national cyber force. That’s a group of militarised computer hackers to conduct offensive operations.

Offensive operations against who, you might ask.

Britain was not at war, but in an article for the Daily Mail last year, Britain’s top counter terrorism officer, Neil Basu confirmed that the UK was waging an ideological war against anti vaccination conspiracy theorists. Ideological wars of this nature typically take place online, where much of the government’s military budget was being spent.

Since the vaccine roll-out there has been a protracted effort to paint the 33% of British citizens who have a problem with lockdowns and vaccine mandates, as violent extremists, with one member of the commentariat drawing parallels with US style militias.

It doesn’t take a genius to see where this is heading.

The Facebook’s-Intelligence-Harvard Connection

Consistent with the opaque nature of Facebook’s origins, shortly after its launch in 2014, co-founders Mark Zuckerberg and Dustin Moskovitz brought Napster founder Sean Parker on board. At the age of 16, Parker hacked into the network of a Fortune 500 company and was later arrested and charged by the FBI. Around this time Parker was recruited by the CIA.

To what end, we don’t know.

What we do know is that Parker brought Peter Thiel to Facebook as its first outside investor. Theil, who remains on Facebook’s board, also sits on the Steering Committee of globalist think tank, the Bilderberg Group. As previously stated, Thiel is the founder of Palantir, the spooky intelligence firm pretending to be a private company.

The CIA would join the FBI, DoD and NSA in becoming a Palantir customer in 2005, later acquiring an equity stake in the firm through their venture capital arm, In-Q-Tel. At the time of his first meetings with Facebook, Theil had been working on resurrecting several controversial DARPA programs.

Which begs the question: With intelligence assets embedded in Facebook’s management structure from the get-go, is everything as it seems at 1 Hacker Way?

According to Lauren Smith, writing for Wrong Kind of Green:

Some of Facebook’s allure to users is that Mark Zuckerberg and his friends started the company from a Harvard dorm room and that he remains the chairman and chief operating officer. If he didn’t exist, he would need to be invented by Facebook’s marketing department.”

By the same token, if Facebook didn’t exist it would need to be invented by the Pentagon.

To achieve this, you would need to embed government officials in Facebook’s leadership and governance. Cherry picking your candidates from, say, the US Department of Treasury, and launching the platform from an academic institution, Harvard University, for example.

According to the official record, Zuckerberg built the first version of Facebook at Harvard in 2004. Like J.C.R Licklider before him, he was a psychology major.

Harvard’s President at that time was economist Lawrence Summers, a career public servant who served as Chief Economist at the World Bank, Secretary of the Treasury under the Clinton Administration, and 8th Director of the National Economic Council.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. Summers’ protege, Sheryl Sandberg, is Facebook’s COO since 2008. Sandberg was at the dials during the Cambridge Analytica scandal, and predictably, manages Facebook’s Washington relationships. Before Facebook, Sandberg served as Chief of Staff at the Treasury under Summers and began her career as an economist, also under Summer, at the World Bank.

Another Summers-Harvard-Treasury connection is Facebook’s Board Member, Nancy Killefer, who served under Summers as CFO at the Treasury Department.

It doesn’t end there. Facebook’s Chief Business Officer, Marne Levine also served under Summers at the Department of Treasury, National Economic Council and Harvard University.

The CIA connection is Robert M. Kimmet. According to West Point, Kimmet “has contributed significantly to our nation’s security…seamlessly blending the roles of soldier, statesman and businessman. In addition to serving on Facebook’s board of Directors, Kimmet is a National Security Adviser to the CIA, and the recipient of the CIA Director’s Award.

The icing on the cake, however, is former DAPRA Director, Regina Dugan, who joined Facebook’s hardware lab, Building 8, in 2016, to roll out a number of mysterious DARPA funded-projects that would hack people’s minds with brain-computer interfaces.

Dugan currently serves as CEO of Welcome Leap. A technology spin-off of the world’s most powerful health foundation, concerned with the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including transdermal vaccines. Welcome Leap brings DARPA’s military-intelligence innovation to “the most pressing global health challenges of our time,” called COVID-19.

Connecting the dots: Welcome Leap was launched at the World Economic Forum, with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Its founder is Jeremy Ferrar, former SAGE member, long-time collaborator of Chris Witty and Neil Ferguson and the patsy taking the wrap for the Wuhan leak cover-up story.

George Carlin wasn’t joking when he said: ‘it’s one big club, and you’re not in it.’

As luck would have it, just before Duggan’s arrival at Facebook, the social media giant orchestrated the controversial mood manipulation PSYOP, known as the Social Contagion Study. The experiment would anticipate the role social media went onto play during the pandemic.

In the study, Facebook manipulated the posts of 700,000 unsuspecting Facebook users to determine the extent to which emotional states can be transmitted across social media. To achieve this, they altered the news feed content of users to control the number of posts that contained positive or negative charged emotions. As you would expect, the findings of the study revealed that negative feeds caused users to make negative posts, whereas positive feeds resulted in users making positive posts. In other words, Facebook is not only a fertile ground for emotional manipulation, but emotions can also be contagious across its networks.

Once we understand this, it becomes clear how fear of a disease, which predominantly targeted people beyond life expectancy with multiple comorbidities who were dying anyway, spread like wildfire in the wake of the Wuhan Virus. In locking down the UK, Boris Johnson warned the British public that we would all lose family members to the disease. When nothing could be further from the truth. The pandemic largely happened in the flawed doomsday modelling of epidemiologists, it happened across a corporate united in whipping up mass hysteria, and it happened on social media platforms like Facebook, where our social networks were weaponised as echo chambers of the fear-narrative. It wasn’t so much a pandemic, but the social contagion experiment playing out in real time.

But there was more than just social media manipulating our emotional states, fear, shame, and scapegoating was fife throughout as the British government deployed behavioural economics to, essentially, nudge the public towards compliance.

Launched under David Cameron’s Government, the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), who are affectionately known as the Nudge Unit, are a team of crack psychologists and career civil servants tasked with positively influencing appropriate behaviour with tiny changes.

But according to whose measure of appropriate behaviour, exactly?

A clue lies in the fact that the Nudge Unit was directed by Sir Mark Sedwill during the first lockdown. He’s one of Britain’s most senior national security advisors with links to M15 and MI6.

Put another way, that’s an intelligence operative ruling the British people by psychological manipulation, though we are led to believe that in a democracy – government is an agency of the people and parliament is given force of law by the will of the people.

But what happens when our consent is manipulated by those in power?

One consequence is that the foxes take charge of the chicken coop. Another is that we begin to see drastic changes to the constitutional landscape, as politicians acquire impunity from public scrutiny and an entire nation is kept under house arrest.

But this demonisation of the masses is also the backwash of a protracted counterinsurgency crusade waged against ordinary folks. When the Berlin wall came down in the nineties and decades of counterinsurgency was rendered obsolete, the battle-lines moved from East to the West, from the Soviets to the lower orders of society. The mythos of communist infiltration, that gave rise to the threat of terrorism, is the ancestor of today’s biosecurity state. A government that tightens its grip, using fear of a common enemy, will find no shortage of common enemies, to continue tightening its grip.

Conclusions

Strong-arming the world’s population under the rubric of biosecurity would not have been possible without the internet, and if the expulsion of the military and intelligence community from academic institutions in the 1960’s had not resulted in the creation of Silicon Valley, they would not have acquired total information awareness, the precursor to the Green Pass.

But this formidable goal also caused the US to morph into the opponent it had been fighting during the cold war, as predicted by public intellectuals in the 1960s.

And so, with an annual budget of $750 billion and 23,000 military and civilian personnel in their employment, the Pentagon failed to denounce what many armchair researchers called out in the early days of the pandemic. That a global coup was underway was patently obvious, as crisis actors played dead in Wuhan, China.

Instead, those charged with protecting the west from Soviet-style putsch failed to apprehend it happening right under their noses. It’s not so much that they were caught with their trousers down, it’s that they aided and abetted the coop. Years of fighting a statist, expansionist adversary, caused the intelligence state to mutate into their nemesis, namely China.

It is uncanny that the country with the worst human rights record on earth became the global pacemaker for lockdowns, as western democracies exonerated their existential threat and bowed to China’s distinct brand of tyranny.

As a result, the big tech data analytics pioneered by Silicon Valley luminaries, that was road tested in China, finally landed on the shorelines of western democracies.

Another story entirely is the infiltration of sovereign nation states by the United Nations, whose special agency, the WHO, sparked the events that would lead to the fall of the West. In keeping with tradition, the UN’s foundation at Bretton Woods was infiltrated by communist spies, driven by socialist values, and funded by powerful petroleum dollars. The same corporations looking to shore up new markets for their monopolies, who would leave their legacy to Silicon Valley.

In an ironic twist of fate, the intelligence state created at the end of world war II, under the National Security Act, conceived the very corporations that would bring about the end of constitutional democracy, that would author a new bill of rights from their own community standards de jour, and that would shift us from sovereign nation states to global governance, into the collectivist future the Pentagon had been charged with protecting us from.

Nowadays, it doesn’t matter if you’re in the dusty slew of a Calcutta slum or enjoying pristine views over Central Park, everyone is subject to the same scrutiny and surveillance, policed by the same community standards, manipulated by the same algorithms, and indexed by the same intelligence agencies. No matter where you are, Silicon Valley is limiting what information you can see, share, communicate and learn from online. They are raising your kids, shaping your worldview and in the wake of COVID-19 and climate change, they have assumed the role of science administrator.

Founded on the principles of freedom of expression and heralded as a liberating new frontier for humanity, the internet has criminalised free speech, divorced it from our nature and ensnared us under a dragnet of surveillance.

But above all else, cyberspace has bought into existence a substructure of reality that is cannibalising the five-sensory world, while forcing humanity to embark on the greatest exodus in human history, from the tangible world to the digital nexus, from our real lives to the metaverse.

As Goethe quote goes ‘None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.’ Namely, anyone still looking through rose-tinted lenses in the digital age, oblivious to the fact they are victims of systematic addiction. The bread and circuses of the internet influences the same dopamine rewards centres and neural circuitry motivators as slot machines, cigarettes, and cocaine, as was originally intended by psychologists like JCR Licklider, at the helm of this new technology that would exploit basic vulnerabilities in the human psyche.

And as we descend further into the maelstrom of the digital age, the algorithms will get smarter, the psychological drivers will become more persuasive and digital rubric will become more real. Until eventually we will lose touch with reality altogether. But don’t worry, this war of attrition is happening in conjunction with the roll out of new software and devices, and most will be too busy building their digital avatars or dissenting on social media to know any better.

Breakfast and Death in a Brave New World

I was a SciFi in my early teens right through my twenties. I had a collection of SciFi books that would have made any library proud. Sadly, about a decade ago my age and the weight of boxes of books caught up with me and was forced to liquidate my prized possessions my children and grandchildren showed zero interest in inheriting. It was like watching my old dog die as book favorite upon book favorite disappeared in garage sales & posts on Craigslist.

Justin Smith submitted a post that reminded me of my SciFi lore days. In the submission Justin shares he was inspired by purchasing an Alexa gadget for his granddaughter then discovering later the Amazon makers of Alexa could remotely listen to private conversations.

Before I even got to Justin’s title recommendations, I thought of Aldous Huxley’s 1932 SciFi futuristic novel Brave New World (Full pdf of book). Huxley wrote between World Wars envisioning a despotic future that perhaps America’s Dem Party and the World’s Left-Wing Globalists are transforming society to accept as amenable.

If you don’t read the novel, perhaps these synopses will pique interest, especially after reading Justin Smith’s submission:

Breakfast and Death in a Brave New World

How Tyranny Came to America

By Justin O. Smith

Sent 10/13/2019 3:06 PM

People all across the globe who live in modern comfort have their heads stuck in the sand, and the lucky ones — or the smarter ones — are those who depend far less on modern day electronics. Anytime one’s T.V. can spy on a person and a device named “Alexa” can turn itself on at will and record private conversations in one’s home, that represents a real and extremely enormous problem, a threat to freedom and liberty and simply life in general.

For those who remain doubtful, allow me to be your guide today.

Born on November 6th, 2020, I was just about to turn 40 years old, when I awoke one Saturday morning in 2060, to the sound of my iPhone alarm at 4:30 AM, I sat with my coffee — brewed automatically after my wake-up alarm sounded — ruminating about some old letters of my Great GrandDad’s, which had described a society where liberty was being destroyed. He described all the freedom he had as a boy, when he could ride a bicycle without some police officer making him put a helmet on or drive without a seat belt when he turned sixteen; and, he was able to carry his own 12 gauge shotgun through the streets of town, on his way to the fields and the hunt, without nary a glance from the local Sheriff’s Deputies or city police, when he was just eleven years old.

I opened the door and pulled out some bacon and eggs for breakfast, along with the jug of milk and orange juice, which sent an automatic signal to the stove and my iPhone. Shutting the refrigerator door automatically activated an RIFD — Radio Frequency Identification — signal on the packages I removed, and so my refrigerator knew what was removed and when it was removed. And so too did Apple and anyone else who bought the information they sold, without my consent or approval. This is breakfast in our brave new world.

It’s the same way as I dressed myself. Each article of clothing had an RIFD chip from the store where I bought them, even my shoes. It was cold this morning, so I dressed warm and hoped my electricity monitor was functioning properly, since it shuts off after I’ve reached my allotted use for the month. Everything was tracked by my phone, WiFi and kitchen appliances, which spy on me daily and sell my activity tracking information to other retailers. So much for personal privacy, not to mention that everything I own seems to be making money off me.

In preparation of what I anticipated to be a wonderful day, I opened my dresser drawer near my bed and retrieved my pistol and headed out the front door to my car, a rickety, not-too-safe, and often unreliable energy efficient “smart car”, as my house noted my departure and the car noted my arrival, with motion sensors, RIFDs, my iPhone all now tracking me. The car started itself and my entertainment system was already playing my favorite music, while the car’s little black box, Google GPS and my phone were all over me, like a bloodhound on a scent; and, in departing, I was tracked to every location, every traffic signal, and every song I listen too was noted, filed and logged, whether sad or lively. Even local businesses captured all my information through their security cameras as I passed them by.

And yet, there I was thinking nobody knew where I was, where I was going, what I’m thinking or what I planned to do that day. I was truly enjoying my weekend and thinking ahead to spending some wonderful quality time with my wife and children, as I also looked towards the upcoming holidays, with hope for the future and better days to come.

I was headed towards one of my favorite hiking places near Goshen Hill, because it had been a terribly stressful week and I needed some quiet, relaxing time, in the woods alone. I brought a firearm along, because our local wolf and coyote populations had grown quite large and aggressive, since the Forestry Department had transplanted them in the area.

Imagine my surprise when I saw blue lights behind me, as I drove down the old abandoned country road, prompting me to pull over. A bullhorn blared its demand I throw the gun from the car and exit slowly, even though I have done absolutely nothing wrong and am caught completely unaware and I certainly did not want to scratch up my $10, 500 nearly rusted .40 caliber Beretta; I had a permit and wasn’t a threat to anybody, so I decided to open the door. And my last memories were of multiple loud bangs as I was shot to death. [Blog Editor: Remember the murder of LaVoy Finicum by Federal, State & Local Police (some videos at links removed no doubt due to censorship): HERE, HERE, HERE & HERE.]

After a short investigation and “inquiry”, the media narrative explicated how it was known, that I had a stressful week and was planning on hurting someone or myself, but along the way, I had chosen to “die by cop” instead. How curious this should have been to all, in light of the sweet note I had left for my wife and kids, laying out my plans for a fun hike and explaining that I had brought my pistol to fend off the wolves, in abundance since hunting was outlawed; I had written that I loved them “so very much” and looked forward to taking them to the county fair in a few hours. But this was all ignored and explained away, since it didn’t fit the narrative that firearms are evil and people that own them are completely unstable.

Among all the questions, nobody asked the officers how they “knew” I had a firearm or what made them feel that I was a threat at that time, due to my “stressful week”.

This was how tyranny came to America, a little bit at a time. I was dead and branded a “pistol wielding mad man” by the Murfreesboro Post and the Daily News Journal and my wife’s and children’s lives were changed forever. Others who witnessed this abuse of power fell in line, rank and file, toeing the line and complying to avoid a similar fate, as they understood they too were being tracked, choosing to ignore it because Grand Theft Auto is just so interesting a game and keeps them from being alone, for a few minutes, while waiting for dinner guests to arrive.

Welcome to what life will become, if Americans and the entirety of modern societies everywhere do not soon take necessary precautions against electronic intrusions on our everyday personal lives. This is life as it most probably will become, when we place it all under the control of algorithms and abandon the Bill of Rights, especially the 4th and Second Amendments. If people fail to act in a timely fashion to this threat to freedom, they will get what they have requested, what they deserve — tyranny to their hearts’ desire or until they are sick to death of it.

The Disinformation effort

12/14/2016 2:12 PM

The Disinformation effort …. to discredit an election that was won because the people are tired of the LIES and Deception!

By what these 4 links show that it’s pretty hard to say there is not a concerted effort to see what society is up too and then try and direct a narrative, by the Government and Media, and I would say that Trump new this and talked Truth about it and is why he won, not some Russian Hacking effort to steal the election.

Is Facebook really a CIA-funded data collection program?

Why wouldn’t it be?

We already know that the NSA snoops through our email, as well as our phone records and calls. And it was recently revealed that the CIA created a “Cuban Twitter” to encourage insurrection.

It was called ZunZuneo, and it was offered to Cubans via the country’s mobile-phone network as a free text service. The program attracted 40,000 subscribers before mysteriously ending operations in 2012.

The (Social) Network

The Facebook-CIA connection revolves around James Breyer, a partner at the investment firm ACCEL.

Accel was one of Facebook’s early investors, plunking down $12.7 million in 2005. That dwarfed the initial venture capital investment of $500,000 from Peter Thiel. In fact, Accel was Facebook’s biggest shareholder after Mark Zuckerberg at the time of the company’s IPO, with an 11% stake.

And as it happens, Breyer, the guy who made it happen, has some very close ties with the U.S. government.

You see, in addition to his role at Accel, Breyer sat on the board of directors at BBN – a defense contractor that helped create the internet. And in 2004, he was joined there by Gilman Louie, the CEO of In-Q-Tel – an technology investment firm that was founded by the CIA.

Indeed, the CIA launched In-Q-Tel in 1999, with a focus on data mining, and Louie was put in charge.

And that’s not all.

Also on BBN’s board was Dr. Anita Jones.

Jones, also a member of the In-Q-Tel board, was formerly the director of Defence Research and Engineering for the U.S. Department of Defence. At the DoD, Jones reported directly to the Secretary of Defence and oversaw the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

DARPA, of course, is responsible for the development of new technologies the military. It also houses one of the most insidious branches of government bureaucracy, the Information Awareness Office.

The IAO was established in 2002 to bring together several DARPA projects that use surveillance and information technology to track and monitor “terrorists.” The goal of these endeavors is “Total Information Awareness (TIA).”

TIA means creating enormous computer databases to gather and store the personal information of everyone in the United States, including personal emails, social networks, credit card records, phone calls, medical records, and numerous other sources, without any requirement for a search warrant.

Once this information was made public there a firestorm of criticism. It was READ ENTIRETY (The CIA Has Sent You a Friend Request: Is Facebook Really a CIA Front? By Jason Simpkins; Outsider Club; 4/7/14 5:18 PM)

FACEBOOK 4EVA

IS SOCIAL NETWORKING THE ULTIMATE BIG BROTHER TOOL?

When Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria used Facebook to spring her cheating husband of three years, Tony Parker, just before Christmas, she was using social networking to gather intelligence. But she’s not the only one, and some agencies are salivating at the information they’re gathering on citizens across the world
WORDS BY IAN WISHART

Sociologists have discovered the same thing in public life – that virtually all of us can be linked through our acquaintances and friendships, within six degrees of separation, to anyone else on the planet – even to Kalahari bushmen.

This “interconnectedness” is one of the driving principles that Facebook is designed to exploit, but in doing so has it created a monster? …

But just as it has made infidelity easier, Facebook has also made it easier to track, and that’s where the Big Brother twist comes in. …

Former Israeli intelligence agent Ari ben-Menashe published a book called ‘Profits of War’ in 1992 that caused a worldwide sensation, because it described for the first time a plan by Israeli spy agency Mossad to create a computer programme capable of monitoring individuals and working out who their circle of friends were. That programme was called PROMIS, and it was picked up not just by Mossad but also the CIA and the NSA in the US.

Information, said ben-Menashe, might include phone records that showed who the target associated with, or locations that he regularly visited. “The programme…would have the ability to track the movements of vast numbers of people around the world. Dissidents or citizens who needed to be kept under watch would be hard put to move freely again without Big Brother keeping an eye on their activities.”

That was 1992. When the whistle was blown the intelligence agencies ran for cover, and organisations in New Zealand and elsewhere who had purchased PROMIS ditched it. But the dream of tracking social networks via computer did not go away. Imagine the fun to be had if people voluntarily waived their rights to privacy and uploaded their personal information and friendships online for everyone to see.

In 1998, the CIA ostensibly gave up the fight to lead the world in IT intelligence software.

Instead of developing software, the CIA set up a company called In-Q-Tel in 1999 to go into venture partnerships with private capital firms to develop and fund promising new technologies that could help the CIA “data mine” for useful intelligence.

The CIA’s website makes In-Q-Tel’s mission clear:

“In-Q-Tel’s mission is to foster the development of new and emerging information technologies and pursue research and development (R&D) that produce solutions to some of the most difficult IT problems facing the CIA. To accomplish this, the Corporation will network extensively with those in industry, the venture capital community, academia, and any others who are at the forefront of IT innovation.”

The first CEO of In-Q-Tel was Gilman Louie, and he and his CIA subsidiary were appointed with seven others to the Board of Directors of the National Venture Capital Association of America in 2004. The chairman of the NVCA was James Breyer of Accel Partners, and one of his first tasks that year was to give a young student named Mark Zuckerberg US$13 million in venture capital. What for? Well, in February 2004, Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg launched Facebook, a new social networking service designed to help fellow students stay in touch with each other.

James Breyer was also chairman of BBN, a Silicon Valley company whose Arpanet technology had helped kick off the internet with the assistance of the US Defence agencies. Joining Breyer at BBN in 2004 were both In-Q-Tel’s Gilman Louie and Dr. Anita Jones, a colleague of Gilman Louie’s at In-Q-Tel, and a former advisor to DARPA, or the Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency.

In Facebook terms, these CIA and US Defence Department types were just one degree of separation from Facebook itself, and their chairman James Breyer was one of the initial bankrollers of Facebook.

One of DARPA’s projects was “scalable social network analysis”, or SSNA, which researcher Sean McGahan described this way: “The purpose of the SSNA algorithms program is to extend techniques of social network analysis to assist with distinguishing potential terrorist cells from legitimate groups of people … In order to be successful SSNA will require information on the social interactions of the majority of people around the globe. Since the Defense Department cannot easily distinguish between peaceful citizens and terrorists, it will be necessary for them to gather data on innocent civilians as well as READ ENTIRETY (Is Facebook the new ‘Big Brother’? https://www.thenation.com/article/amazon-washington-post-and-600-million-cia-contract/

It’s been a rough couple days for The Washington Post. Word emerged that hackers invaded its internal system—for a few days, no less—all of its staffers had to change their passwords as the company tried to figure out how much data had been compromised.

Meanwhile, a petition campaign was launched related to news that Amazon, under the Post’s new owner, Jeff Bezos, recently secured a $600 million contract from the CIA. That’s at least twice what Bezos paid for the Post this year. Bezos recently disclosed that the company’s Web-services business is building a “private cloud” for the CIA to use for its data needs.

Critics charge that, at a minimum, the Post needs to disclose its CIA link whenever it reports on the agency. Over 15,000 have signed the petition this week hosted by RootsAction.

In a statement released by the Institute for Public Accuracy, media writer/author Robert McChesney observes:

When the main shareholder in one of the very largest corporations in the world benefits from a massive contract with the CIA on the one hand, and that same billionaire owns the Washington Post on the other hand, there are serious problems. The Post is unquestionably the political paper of record in the United States, and how it covers governance sets the agenda for the balance of the news media. Citizens need to know about this conflict of interest in the columns of the Post itself.

If some official enemy of the United States had a comparable situation—say the owner of the dominant newspaper in Caracas was getting $600 million in secretive contracts from the Maduro government—the Post itself would lead the howling chorus impaling that newspaper and that government for making a mockery of a free press. It is time for the Post to take a dose of its own medicine.” (Amazon, ‘The Washington Post’ and That $600 MIllion CIA Contract; By Greg Mitchell; The Nation; 12/19/13)

Who really could have hacked the DNC?

https://www.zerofox.com/blog/often-social-media-accounts-hacked/

How often are social media accounts hacked? Although it’s a tricky question, the short answer is clear: way too often.

Social media account takeovers are an increasingly common occurrence, affecting the likes of politicians, celebrities, brands, other high-profile accounts and even Mark Zuckerberg, the father of the social media revolution. But they also trickle down to individuals and small business accounts in striking numbers.

A social media profile is a valuable tool for corporations and celebrities to spread awareness, but it’s also a broad, easily exploited, and often unregulated attack surface. If the page itself is compromised, the brand can become tarnished and trusting users can be enticed to click malicious links, directing to phishing pages, scams, or exploits.

Measuring the cost of high-profile breaches is more difficult; most instances of account takeovers do not reveal the full impact of the breach. We can, however, point to specific instances where the cost of the breach has been quantified. … Clearly, these account takeovers have potentially huge financial impacts to the victims.

College is a Perfect venue for Mind Manipulation to make Slaves out of Free Thinkers:

https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2016/12/15/send-your-kid-to-college-support-the-surveillance-state/

What are college students focusing on these days—apart from sex, booze, and drugs? Well, moral values, if you can call a deep desire for “free everything” a value. And maybe “feeling triggered” and “needing a safe space” is also, somehow, a value. As is demanding that many words be excised from the English language, because they might offend someone who is a member of a designated victim-class. College is quite a scene these days.

Therefore, a different kind of propaganda had to be sprayed on students; the most shallow kind of “social justice” possible—in order to divert these boys and girls from revealing the underlying corruption of their adult minders. Hence, China-style political correctness.

These days, students are, for the most part, oblivious to how their colleges and universities are funded.

I’m not talking about donations from graduates and boosters, or revenue generated from televised football games. I’m talking, for example, about secretive government agencies.

CIA, NSA, DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency).

At WikiLeaks, Julian Assange posted an overview (10/7/2007), “On the take and loving it—academic recipients of the US intelligence budget.”

Consider Assange’s stunning conclusion: “Over the last decade, U.S intelligence funding of academic research has taken on cavalier, even brazen qualities. This article reveals over 3,000 National Security Agency and over 100 Defense Intelligence Agency funded papers [written by professors] and draws attention to recent unreported revelations of CIA funding for torture research.”

Torture research. If people need evidence that the CIA’s MKULTRA is still alive, there it is.

Assange: “The NSA has pushed tens or hundreds of millions into the academy [colleges] through research grants using one particular grant code. NSA funding sources are often nakedly, even proudly, declared in research papers (‘I may be nothing, but look, a big gang threw me a sovereign’). Some researchers try to conceal or otherwise downplay the source using accepted covers, weasel words and READ ENTIRETY (Send your kid to college: support the Surveillance State: The NSA is alive and well on campuses; By Jon Rappoport; Jon Rappoport’s Blog; 12/15/16)

PAY ATTENTION TO THIS California Legislation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2016/12/15/bombshell-sacrificing-children-to-the-state-of-california-sb18/

This article is dedicated to Patrick Wood, author of Technocracy Rising, a book everyone should read. Yesterday.

A bill introduced by the notorious Richard Pan, the mover and shaker behind the mandatory vaccination law in CA—this new one, SB18, is a grab-bag of generalities basically giving over care of children to the State.

Catch the flavor of the wording. It emerges like swamp gas:

“The Legislature finds and declares that all children and youth, regardless of gender, class, race, ethnicity, national origin, culture, religion, immigration status, sexual orientation, or ability, have inherent rights that entitle them to protection, special care, and assistance, including, but not limited to, the following: The right to parents, guardians, or caregivers who act in their best interest. The right to form healthy attachments with adults responsible for their care and well-being. The right to live in a safe and healthy environment. The right to social and emotional well-being. The right to opportunities to attain optimal cognitive, physical, and social development. The right to appropriate, quality education and life skills leading to self-sufficiency in adulthood. The right to appropriate, quality health care.”

This bill is basically setting up the population of California for state regulatory agencies to fill in the blanks later, to make specific controls out of the vague generalities in the bill. Get it?

“Medical care and nutrition and parenting and education are what we say they are. We define and enforce, you obey.”

SB18 is also an invitation to immigrants anywhere in the world who can get to California with their children, or will give birth to children after arriving: “Just be here and we’ll take care of you.”

But let’s go to the money. In SB18, a group is referred to: the Peninsula Partnership Leadership Council (when you go to “Assembly Concurrent Resolution No. 80” referenced in SB18):

This Council has already written a children’s bill of rights, and SB18 is saying this is the model. This is the framework. This the pattern they’re following.

The Peninsula Partnership Leadership Council (PPLC) is composed of the San Mateo County Superintendent of Schools, the County Board of Supervisors and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.

And now we hit pay dirt: THE SILICON VALLEY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION.

Bam.

It’s a non-profit that has assets of $7.3 BILLION. It runs 1800 philanthropic funds. Here are some of its corporate partners:

Alexza Pharmaceuticals. Microsoft. Pepsico Foundation. Cisco. Hewlett Packard. Dell. Symantec. Unilever. Plus something called the SV2 Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund, “building and scaling social inventions.”

For some reason, this huge Foundation is pushing a children’s bill of rights that is reflected in a new CA bill, SB18, that will eventually make the State the top-dog controlling force over all children in California.

You can bet these corporate partners will reap profits. Beyond that, this is their version of a MASSIVE social engineering program. And that program is part of a technocratic movement to plan, format, and run the lives of the population from cradle to grave, because…

They should rule the future because they can plot and chart it out, based on their version (you weren’t consulted) of “greatest good for the greatest number.”

The best place to start? THE CHILDREN.

Fairfax County PD Search Warrant for Daniel Rosen as reported by @NBC’s @JulieCareyNBC

When Senator Lamar Alexander’s (R TN) Chief of Staff, Ryan Loskarn, was arrested, last year, for trading in the rape and torture of children, aka child pornography, not one journalist provided context to the story. The media reported Loskarn’s arrest, and subsequent suicide pending trial, as if it were a one-off event. As if, no other high-level government employees were being arrested on child porn charges.

So, I suppose I should be thrilled to see that both Paul Farrell, the Breaking News Editor for Heavy, and Shane Harris, Sr. Intelligence and National Security Correspondent for The Daily Beast and New America Foundation Fellow, tried to provide context to the State Department’s Director of Counterterrorism, Daniel Rosen’s arrest, 26 February 2015, on charges of computer solicit of a child under 15 years old for sex/sodomy.

Farrell reported Rosen’s arrest was “the Second Child Sex Scandal to Hit D.C. in 12 Months.” Harris said Rosen’s arrest marks the “3rd U.S. Official Hit With Child Sex and Porn Charges.”
… A simple Google or Twitter search reveals far more than two or three government officials arrested on similar charges.

Research 101

As I have been documenting, for years now, by all accounts there is both a national child porn crisis and, within that, a crisis of American federal and state employees engaged in child porn. In what appears to be epidemic numbers men are down-loading child porn often on their work computers at The PentagonThe Department of Homeland Security (DHS), The Department of Justice (DOJ), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), The Department of Transportation (DOT), The Transportation Security Agency (TSA), The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) not to mention state-level police departments from Maine to California.

Maine’s Governor, Paul LePage, has recognized this crisis by issuing the first, to my knowledge, of its kind Executive Order, on 20 February 2015, prohibiting READ ENTIRETY (State Dept. Dan Rosen’s Arrest: Cheat Sheet for Journos; By Lori Handrahan; Responsible Business; 2/27/16)

With about a month left to go in his administration President Obama has finally decided to go after Russia.

“I think there is no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact the integrity of our elections, that we need to take action and we will — at a time and place of our own choosing,” he told NPR in an interview set to air on Friday.

“When I receive a final report, you know, we’ll be able to, I think, give a comprehensive and best guess as to those motivations,” he said.

Yes, even as the FBI says it does not know the motivation for the hack President Obama has decided what the motivation was.

Even as Julian Assange insisted Russia was not responsible for the leaked DNC emails, Obama knows better.

And even as his own Attorney General Loretta Lynch said the administration found no evidence of “technical interference” by the Russians, the president wants to start a conflict.

How Russia Hacked into the DNC and NOT the RNC

12/17/2016 10:51 PM

Bloomberg quotes a cybersecurity expert saying the Missile Defense Agency’s use of porn is concerning because “many pornographic websites are infected and criminals and foreign intelligence services such as Russia’s use them to gain access and harvest data.” [Blog Editor: The above quote is what Newbill highlights from the Washington Times article below.]

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/aug/10/executive-branch-porn-problem/

Allen W. Dulles, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) wrote in “The Craft of Intelligence,” “sex and hard-headed intelligence operations rarely mix well.” Perhaps the boys at the Pentagon need a refresher course.

This past week, the Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency warned its staff not to view porn on U.S. government computers. The Pentagon also released a report on April’s Secret Service Colombian scandal. The two are connected.

In April, I said the Colombian scandal exposed a national security problem, the epidemic of U.S. government employees viewing porn — child porn — on government networks. I suggested readers type “Transportation Security Administration,” “U.S. State Department,” “Pentagon,” “Immigration and Customs Enforcement” and “child porn” into Google’s search field to understand the scope. I neglected to include “Missile Defense Agency.”

Bloomberg quotes a cybersecurity expert saying the Missile Defense Agency’s use of porn is concerning because “many pornographic websites are infected and criminals and foreign intelligence services such as Russia’s use them to gain access and harvest data.”

Thomas Jefferson once said he feared for his country when he reflected that God was just. I, too, fear for my country. No one is home in the Obama White House, and the Russians know this. Allen Dulles must be rolling in his grave. Americans should be extremely concerned. Is this Bill Clinton’s tactic?

12/20/2016 8:54 AM

Bill Clinton said Angry white men voted Trump in … so is Bill Clinton using Racism to divide the Arabs from the Middle East and any other class of people from around the world with Money that will listen to he and the Democrats and “DONATE” to the Clintons so they can continue with their Division Politics??????????????

[Blog Editor: Unfortunately, Newbill didn’t leave link associated with this thought. I stumbled upon the subject in another person’s email. Which I provide below.]

Trump Fires Back at Bill Clinton’s Insulting Remarks

http://www.themadpatriots.com/freedom-news/trump-fires-back-at-bill-clintons-insulting-remarks/

While Hillary has remained relatively quiet about her general election opponent since the upset heard ’round the world, her husband couldn’t resist getting his digs in. According to an editorial in the Bedford-Pound Ridge Record Review, Bill Clinton indulged shoppers at a New York bookstore with some thoughts about the election and the next president.

“He doesn’t know much,” Clinton said of Trump. “One thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him.”

Clinton went on to express astonishment that Trump would call him the day after the election with a conciliatory tone. “Like it happened 15 years ago,” he scoffed.

On Twitter, the president-elect responded to Clinton’s remarks by “correcting the record.”

“Bill Clinton stated that I called him after the election,” Trump wrote Tuesday. “Wrong, he called me (with a very nice congratulations). He ‘doesn’t know much,’ especially how to get people, even with an unlimited budget, out to vote in the vital swing states (and more). They focused on wrong states.”

… why is it okay for Bill Clinton to talk about “angry white men” in this way? Can you imagine if Trump lost and blamed “angry black men” for his defeat? When did it become acceptable to talk about white voters like they’re a cancer on the United States? Maybe if the Democrats didn’t treat whites as the root of all Western evil, they would have won.

Frankly, Trump’s response to Clinton was much friendlier than it could have been, and READ ENTIRETY (Trump Fires Back at Bill Clinton’s Insulting Remarks; By admin; The Mad Patriots; 12/20/16)
