I’ll Vote for any Three of These GOP Candidates

Despite the insults being passed between the remaining GOP candidates, I’ll be voting for whichever one of these three in my order of preference without apprehension:

 

  1. Ted Cruz

 

  1. Marco Rubio

 

  1. Donald Trump

 

Senator Cruz because he comes the closest to my sentiments on Conservatism and Social Issues.

 

Senator Rubio for roughly the same reason, but I have suspicion of his immigration agenda which if he follows through with a Gang of Eight process may favor a complimentary status for the illegal aliens who should not be here due to criminality or welfare benefits.

 

Donald Trump is third because of his open dislike for America’s current border security and his make America Great via a strong military and at least the intention of forcing lower wage and export price gouging from foreign nations to the detriment of Americans. Frankly I have big doubts about Trump’s Conservative and Christian dedication bona fides; however I can live with a President who doesn’t push any ideological position other than American Exceptionalism. Trump American Exceptionalism benefits Conservatives way more than the self-destructive American Left.

 

Now in saying all that I find it quite annoying that Mitt Romney has openly come out against Donald Trump in a pro-GOP Establishment manner. Honestly it is because of Romney that I left the Republican Party as a registered voter and change to a registered Independent. It’s the likes of LOSER Romney and GOP Establishment Americans had to endure another four years of the Obama deception and more America-destroying Leftist transformation.

 

ERGO I was quite pleased that the Gateway Pundit posted a segment portion of Fox News’ OutNumbered with Andrea Tantaro taking Mitt Romney to task for hating Donald Trump as if the words of a loser who should have won his bid has a valid opinion.

Mitt Romney fired a brutal attack on Donald Trump today in Utah.

 

Andrea Tantaros unloaded on former liberal Mitt Romney after his Anti-Trump speech in Utah.

 

This was brutal!

 

“It’s almost like a coach who lost the Super Bowl 42-0 is now coming out and telling the winning coach what plays to call. If you look at his record in Massachusetts and I want to take him to task on this, because he hit Donald Trump in some key areas. Mitt Romney is a liberal. He used to be pro-choice. Jonathan Gruber, the one who called everyone stupid, wrote Romneycare and Obamacare. That was Mitt Romney’s top aide. I don’t know if he was at the speech today I didn’t see him in the audience. Also, he lectured Donald Trump on foreign policy? Mitt Romney did not want to go after Osama Bin Laden. And that we should attack Pakistan or ask Pakistan for permission before we attack. Harris, I could go on and on and on. Mitt Romney has NO BUSINESS lecturing voters on electability or conservatism. And I think voters today look at him and tell his brand of conservatism to take it and shove it.“

A Devil’s Pact


Justin Smith joins the long list of Conservatives – like the ones of the National Review – who believe Trump is swindling Conservatives through manipulation of voter anger with Obama’s policies and agenda.

On a personal level I am a Ted Cruz supporter. Nonetheless, I think I understand Trump’s popularity among Conservative-Republican voters. People are fed-up with Obama’s immigration policies whether they are illegal aliens from south of the border or refugee imparted status to Muslims fleeing conflicts originating with the Islamic Terrorists of ISIS-ISIL-IS-Daesh. Also Trump offers a Make-America-great theme. However, Trump is rather obscure on how that path will be achieved concretely. Yet angry Americans don’t care about the obscurity is long as there is the appearance someone intends to move heaven and earth to make America great again as in BEFORE Obama.

Ted Cruz is truly a Conservative. Offers a more concrete path to American greatness without making a bargain with a deal that validates his leadership more than upgrading America.

I could probably ramble on but this is Justin Smith’s time to share.

A Devil’s Pact

Destroying the Heart of America

Donning a conservative persona, Donald Trump is cleverly pandering to American conservative’s and presenting his utopian hell as a Trump paradise, in which America is made “great again.” And, while America’s many virtues and time honored principles are still largely intact — while suffering constant Progressive and fascist assaults — Trump voters and fools are not concerned that Trump’s policy plans shift with each successive speech, because they only want a strongman who shares their values. Their disregard for circumspect scrutiny and their failure to demand policy details from Trump will serve to further demolish constitutional governance in America.

Yes. In some instances, Trump has correctly identified certain areas of crisis in America, such as immigration and refugee policies, in a manner similar to that of any average ten-year old in the country, with a sincerity that is highly questionable. He rarely makes clear statements regarding America’s problems, while stating that he will do “great things, without providing specifics, facts, details, substance or principles.

Trump is a dangerous anti-free market, crony capitalist, big government, statist demagogue, who never makes any arguments for libertarianism, conservatism or the Constitution. But he does brag of his own corrupt nature and just how easily he “buys” corrupt politicians.

Why on earth would any liberty loving, honest, selfless American, with an unshakable inner faith in God and America, want to replace Obama’s corrupt administration with an equally corrupt Trump administration?

The few times Trump has managed a coherent thought, Americans have heard Trump brag about how he’ll “get things done” with the Democrats, in compromise. Compromising the founding principles that built America with the foreign ideas of Marxism is the reason we’re in this mess now. Conservative Americans do not want any more of such “compromise” — “compromise” — a Progressive code for “let’s destroy the U.S. Constitution.”

Representing big trouble for America, we recently witnessed statist Progressive Republicans, under Speaker Paul Ryan and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, give Obama a larger spending bill than even the Democrats had asked to receive. And Senator Ted Cruz notes: “Why is a Republican majority leader fighting to accomplish the priorities of the Democratic minority?”

With such an enormous Progressive presence in both parties inside the D.C. establishment and Trump’s own acknowledged affinity to the Democratic Party and New York values [i.e. abortion and gun control], what can America really expect from Trump? It certainly won’t be less government and more individual liberty.

In 2009, Trump told Neil Cavuto (Fox News) that Obama’s stimulus “had to be done”, which isn’t accurate in light of U.S. bankruptcy laws and propagates the Marxist myth of financial institutes “too big to fail.” Trump would later elaborate to the Conservative Review: [The stimulus was] “pork, as we call it, or … gifts to certain people. But overall, I think he’s [Pres. Obama] doing very well.”

When the Tea Party Patriots asked Trump to commit to the Penny Plan and cut $0.01 per year from every dollar of Federal spending, Trump refused and stated: “I will propose budgets that freeze overall spending levels until such time as the budget comes into balance.” [Scroll down to point 4]

This guarantees the continuation of trillion dollar budgets; and necessarily, the only way that the budget can be balanced is by increasing tax revenues by more than half a trillion dollars annually. This will happen only by raising taxes.

Most of the best known economic experts, the Tax Foundation [a nonpartisan tax research group], the Brookings Institute and the Tax Policy Center [TPC Details] contend that Trump’s tax plans will increase the national debt by $10.14 trillion over a decade and $24.5 trillion in two decades, unless it includes huge spending cuts. This debt will eventually have to be paid, so Trump’s tax cuts are only temporary at best; and payment will fall on the shoulders of the next generation of Americans.

Americans will also find Trump unsympathetic to their desire to protect their private property. He loves the Supreme Court’s Kelo decision, which allows the transfer of less prosperous landowners’ private property to wealthy private developers in a reprehensible abuse of eminent domain, if it provides a financial boost to the local community. Trump has utilized this maneuver several times in the past, starting with Vera Coking in the 1990s.

And can America trust Trump to lead a Congressional repeal of Obamacare, since he has often expressed his admiration for Sweden’s single-payer healthcare system and the socialized systems of Canada and the U.K.?

Do we really want a President Trump, who has said he would like to appoint his partial-birth abortion supporting sister, Federal Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, to the U.S. Supreme Court? — who once supported partial-birth abortion himself? [Charisma News weighs in by showing waffling back and forth on Obama. So question should be, “Can Conservatives trust a guy who pleases the audience listening to him?”]

Then one must consider Trump’s protectionist trade philosophy. It is similar to the 19th century guild socialism that mutated into fascism and then Nazism, and, while I subscribe to a certain degree of “protectionism” to counter current continuing currency manipulations and regularly fume over the damage that the World Trade Agreement and NAFTA did to the U.S. economy, Trump’s proposal of a 25% tax on foreign goods will surely result in a global trade war and punitive economic measures aimed at products made in America. America will see an untold number of U.S. firms leaving the country, as trade grinds to a halt along with our economy.

And, concerning the horrible Iran nuclear deal — a simple agreement between two heads of state and unratified by Congress — Presidential candidate Ted Cruz has said he would “rip it up” on entering office; and yet, Trump calls it a “contract” America must honor, but he would “renegotiate harder terms”. It is not a contract or a treaty, and Trump’s statement is one more example of his gross lack of knowledge and understanding of our U.S. Constitution.

Trump’s brand of statism may not meet the classic text book definition of “fascism”, but his statements echo an authoritarianism similar to fascism. He rarely speaks of working through Congress and he seems to assume he can accomplish his goals through his own will and the demands he will make upon his own authority, with or without Congress, just as he thinks he can force foreign powers to do his bidding. His administration will be heavy with crony capitalism, privilege for the few and bureaucracies controlling everything.

Donald Trump is manipulating the current political environment and conservative America’s justifiable anger over the damage to U.S. domestic and foreign affairs, that resulted from Obama’s Progressive Democrat policies; and in the process, through his populist message, insolent lies and glib propaganda, Trump is perpetrating a political swindle on America, second only to the one Obama managed. If conservative Americans give Trump the Republican nomination, they will be further destroying the principles that founded this nation — the heart of America — and entering a devil’s pact with a fascist.

Trump’s Fluctuating Loyalty


Justin Smith provides many legitimate reasons why Conservatives should think twice before committing to a Trump nomination for POTUS. The thing is I don’t believe Trump has become popular among Republican voters because of his ideology. The Donald has become representative of American Conservative and Independent displeasure with the business as usual politics exacted by Leftist Dems and Establishment Republicans.

I will not be voting for Donald Trump in my Oklahoma Primary. However if he did win the GOP nomination I would vote for him because he would shake up the way things operate in Washington DC. Trump will manage the Executive Branch as a CEO manages a major corporation. I have no doubts that government management will step on the toes of Leftists and Conservatives alike.

I doubt Trump will change any social issues dear to Conservatives but I suspect he will not add to the Leftist view of social issues. On money management of America’s economy I believe Trump will ignore all the utopian Leftist agendas. On the other hand it will remain to be seen if he cuts Big Government unless he views the operations of pork programs are not profitable.

I think you see my point without me competing with Justin’s thoughts which AGAIN are very legitimate concerns.

Trump’s Fluctuating Loyalty

Americans must not entrust the future of these United States to Donald Trump, despite his accurate assessment concerning the illegal immigration, economic and trade deficit problems. Trump is politically confused, lacking core principled moral values and integrity; and, he is a master of corruption in U.S. politics, who has admittedly bought politicians to increase his own wealth. Trump is no friend to the U.S. Constitution, and rather than being America’s salvation, a President Trump will only serve to the greater detriment of America.

Trump’s disdain for the Bill of Rights and individual liberty is readily apparent, when one reviews his attempts to steal private property for his own use through the misuse of eminent domain. Trump colluded with New Jersey’s Casino Reinvestment Development Authority in 1994 to forcibly remove Vera Coking from her land, valued at over $1 million, and “compensate” her only $251,000; righteously, Coking beat them in court. And in 2005, Trump told Neil Cavuto (Fox News) that he fully agreed with the Supreme Court’s 2005 ‘Kelo decision’, which legitimized this sort of government-abetted theft of private property.

Although Trump attempts to equate his midnight conversion to conservatism to President Ronald Reagan leaving the Democratic Party for the GOP, Trump has changed party affiliation from Republican to Independent to Democrat and back to Republican in a matter of two decades, just in time for the Iowa caucuses. Please note, Reagan’s core values never shifted away from a strong pro-life and pro-Second Amendment position in the way Trump’s values shift much like the changing of one’s underwear from day to day, depending on his own personal agenda and who has his ear at the moment.

While Trump now says that “gun and magazine bans are a total failure” and presents himself as pro-2nd Amendment, he supported a ban on semi-automatic “assault weapons” and thirty round magazines as late as 2009 (note: A car or hammer can be an “assault weapon” too). His current acceptance of limited restrictions for gun ownership highlights his fundamentally flawed view of the 2nd Amendment, which reads “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

In 1999, Trump was interviewed by ‘Meet the Press’ when he was considering running for president, under Ross Perot’s reform Party. When asked if he would ban partial-birth abortion, he answered: “No I would not. I am pro-choice in every respect as far as it goes, but I just hate it.” And now, Trump is supposedly “pro-life”, probably in the same manner that Obama supported the Defense of Marriage Act until he did not.

Who in their right minds can wholeheartedly support Trump, when he was a Democrat, making massive donations to the likes of Nancy Pelosi, the Clintons and John Kerry and supporting the very “socialist/communist” views of that party as late as 2004 — the very “socialist/communist” views he now rails against?

Who is going to be fool enough to actually cast their vote for Trump, once they know that he supported John Kerry — a communist and islamofascist sympathizer — for president in 2004?

In 2007, Trump told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that it “was a shame that race was lost”, as he talked about John Kerry’s and John Edward’s bid to take the White House for the Progressive Democrats. Trump elaborated with “I’m so upset that he [Kerry] blew it.”

Trump further exhibited his ignorance, his lack of reasoning and logic and his willingness to jump on the bandwagon behind any idea that appealed to his own fallacious beliefs in 2008, when he praised then Speaker Nancy Pelosi for attacking President Bush for getting the U.S. “into the war [Iraq] with lies.” Trump bought the Progressive talking points hook-line-and sinker and completely ignored the fact that even most of the Democratic Caucus, including Senator Hillary Clinton, supported President Bush’s action based on the very same intelligence — the only intelligence — that they and Bush had been given by U.S. and allied intelligence organizations.

In August 2015, Carly Fiorina, GOP presidential candidate, explained that Trump has tapped into America’s legitimate frustration, however, Fiorina concluded with this thought: “I would say this. Since he has changed his mind on amnesty, on healthcare and on abortion, I would ask, what are the principles by which he will govern?”

President Reagan’s son, Michael, recently told ‘Politifact’ that Donald Trump is the candidate who is least like Ronald Reagan. He countered Trump’s August assertion that he had a strong relationship with President Reagan by asking “exactly how many state dinners [was Trump] invited to?” Michael Reagan also suggested that Trump could not win the national election.

With Trump still giving the Clinton Foundation money in 2015, can YOU honestly say that you would trust Trump to govern the United States in an honest and constitutionally acceptable manner? Even though a President Trump may reduce the Depts. of Education and the EPA, America is quite likely to witness Big Government expand in other sectors, more crony-capitalism/corruption and an ingrained oligarchy and the further abuse of our U.S. Constitution.

Even though everyone learns new information throughout their lifetime, it usually only leads them to minor shifts in their core beliefs by the time they are well past their thirties, but Donald Trump has shown a pathological desire to change quite often between two most divergent political philosophies — the conservative belief of freedom under the law and the progressive belief that control is better than freedom. America does not need anyone in the White House who has shown such uncertainty in what they truly believe and hold most dear in their heart of hearts.

Aside from all of this, I cannot in good conscience vote for a person to be our U.S. President, who thinks “bigly” is a word and cannot quote a single verse from his “favorite book”, the Bible, when pressed to do so.

America needs an intelligent, knowledgeable Constitutional conservative, who will defend our religious freedom and the First Amendment, along with an equally forceful defense of the entire Bill of Rights, rather than the closet Progressive Trump and his convoluted understanding of the U.S. Constitution. America needs a man or woman, who is confident enough in their sense of righteous purpose to forcefully defend America and Her allies in the cause of Liberty — someone guided philosophically by the likes of Barry Goldwater, William F. Buckley and Ronald Reagan. America needs a patriot, who recognizes our nation’s promise and the potential for opportunity that still remains, found in conservative principles, and, they will know that “In God We Trust” gives us hope and courage and moves the entire country towards greater prosperity and success.

STRATEGY MEMO: Restoring the Balance with the Supreme Court


Tea Party Express (TPX) has sent an election 2016 strategy for a Conservative President and the maintenance of a Conservative Republican majority in both Houses of Congress. Problematically and unfortunately, Congress may have to retain some RINOs to maintain that majority (HOWEVER, if your voting District or Senate seat can get a Conservative to replace a Republican Establishment incumbent then join the efforts to support that Conservative!!!).

In full disclosure you should examine the plan, but I’d advise you to contribute only if you are a TPX supporter. It is my opinion to use your financial resources (especially if they are a bit limited) to find a local Conservative or Tea Party organization (Here’s a good place to start) that knows more about the voting issues in your neck of the woods and donate to them.

After the horrific week we endured at the hands of the U.S. Supreme Court, I spent the entire weekend developing a plan to restore the balance with the Supreme Court. Please take the time to review this plan and let me know what you think!

CONFIDENTIAL STRATEGY MEMO

The three branches of government were created to be equal and balancing, yet with a radical president, a weak congress, and a Supreme Court willing to invent legal interpretations that protect the President’s left-wing legacy, the balance has been absent and our nation has taken a turn for the worse.

Luckily, we have all that we need to restore the balance: the ballot box.

OBJECTIVES: (1) ELECT A CONSERVATIVE PRESIDENT; (2) PROTECT THE SENATE MAJORITY.

To maximize our resources, I’ve identified five states with competitive U.S. Senate races and critical Electoral College points needed to send a CONSERVATIVE to the White House.

Ohio (18-Points), Pennsylvania (20-Points), & Wisconsin (10-Points): These three Senate races are similar in that they all profile a conservative incumbent Senator that’s being challenged by an ultra-liberal candidate that lost statewide in 2010. These are critical races that we must carry in order to protect our Senate majority. They also deliver a critical 48 Electoral College points that would propel a conservative presidential nominee.

Florida (29-Points), & Nevada (6-Points): Florida and Nevada are similar in that these are both open seats. Senator Marco Rubio (FL) has forgone running for re-election since he’s running for President. Additionally, after targeting Senator Harry Reid as our #1 target for 2016, he has since wisely decided on retirement. These open seats present us with the opportunity to stack the Senate with even more constitutional conservative lawmakers in the mold of Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Mike Lee. Moreover these two states would deliver us the finals votes necessary to win back the White House!

We have begun interviewing and vetting the candidates to ensure: (1) adherence to fiscal responsibility and the U.S. Constitution, (2) ample grassroots support, (3) a credible campaign team that’s capable of winning a tough race.

As this plan develops further, I’ll update you. In the meantime, I must ask you for a financial contribution to support this massive, five-state campaign. Republican Party’s Fiascos


Justin O. Smith is a frequent contributor to this blog. I tell you this because every once in a while Justin’s Father Robert makes a contribution. This is one of those cases.

Robert Smith has become weary of politicians in Congress NOT making decisions for the good of the citizens (i.e. WE THE PEOPLE) of the United States of America. Robert assumes that Conservatives still have the Founding Fathers’ vision of Liberty and Freedom for Americans whose government is supposed to be “… as the Founding Fathers recognized, to protect people’s inalienable rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness.” (The italic text is a quote from: The American Right, the Purpose of Government, and the Future of Liberty; By Craig Biddle; The Objective Standard, Winter 2011, Vol. 6, No. 4.)

President Abraham Lincoln fought a war to preserve the Union of the United States of America to preserve and establish a more perfect union of States in which the role of government, in line with the vision of the Founding Fathers, was pronounced in November 1963 a few months after the Battle of Gettysburg:

We here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom; and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” (LINCOLN’S FAMOUS QUOTE AND ITS INSPIRATION [closing words of his Gettysburg Address, delivered on November 19, 1863]; quote/counterquote; 3/2/15)

Robert has correctly surmised that our Congress has forsaken this original vision transforming America from a people oriented Representative Republic into a ruling elite acting government telling people how to live and how to believe that what humanity feels is the best virtue of morality. I surmise Robert’s target of unconstitutional elitists are the Democrats and the GOP Establishment.

Our Senators and Representatives are sent to Washington by “we the people” to read the bills presented to them. It is then incumbent on them to explain to us, their constituents, and the contents of those bills, along with the reasons that they are either good or bad for our country.

Congress recently passed the Trade Promotion Authority bill, in part, for greater transparency and so we can read it. In other words, do their job and read it for them.

I do not need to read the bill, simply from understanding that it opens an easier path for passing the Trans-Pacific Partnership through a simple majority vote.; I do not need to read bills, such as these, in order to know that they are not in the best interests of our country. All one needs to do is to view the results from the passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement and the ensuing mass exodus of our U S companies to other countries.

Since our Senators and Representatives cannot, or will not, do their jobs, we need to fire them. To rid ourselves of our Representatives is relatively easy, since every two years they seek re-election. With our Senators, it is more complicated, since their terms are for six years and in only 18 states have provisions to recall their Senators. Where does your state stand? Is it one of the 18 or not? If it is not take action ensure that your state will have the ability to recall your Senators.

It is time – it is past time – that we charge the State Legislatures with the task of legislating a procedure that enables us to recall our Senators. If our

Legislators cannot or will not do this they can be replaced in 2016.

I am fed up with the RINOs (Republican – In – Name – Only) that are holding positions in the House of Representatives and the Senate. So, as voters, review their past records and make certain that they are true conservatives before casting your vote for any one.

Today in a large part, many of our country’s problems stem from the people who are far too willing to take the words of liars or idiots or both; it is time for us to throw the liars and idiots out of office.

In all of my 89 years I have never seen so much apathy in the voters. It is as though they do not care about our country’s current condition and sad state of affairs. For the people who still love the USA, vote conservative and ensure the person you vote for is a true conservative.

The Republican Establishment is beginning to slowly suggest their preferred candidates for the nomination of President for the November 2016 cycle. Honestly (and probably to the chagrin of Lefties) the only news I watch on TV is Fox News. And that network’s subliminal suggestions have been Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush. Both former Governors but both with long elements of Left Wing compromises.
 
I was extremely dissatisfied with the GOP nominating Romney for 2012. I did vote for him; however it was a between a rock-and-a-hard-place vote. I was any person but Obama voter. Romney has been indicating some stealth hints considering a 2016 run. God Forbid!
 
If the Republican Establishment succeeds in re-nominating for the 2016 election cycle, I am NOT voting for him. Neither will I vote for any Democrat. I will be voting for a Third Party candidate even if it is a wasted vote. The idiocy of the GOP Establishment of business as usual and the Dems Left Wing agenda are no choices for a fiscal and social Conservative.
 
Since I have experienced the idiocy of supporting Establishment candidates in 2008 and 2012, if the GOP nominates another alternative to Romney but with the same RINO credentials, I will not be voting for that person either. It is my opinion that Jeb Bush’s Conservative bona fides are suspect to be pro-RINO.
 
Now Jeb may not be as much as a RINO as Romney but he is probably enough of a RINO to perpetuate some of Obama’s America transformation. He would more than likely have a Dem-like immigration policy doctored up to fool voters, keep funneling money to Planned Parenthood funding abortion, abandon Christian morality in not fighting to reverse the courts mandate to allow same-sex marriage, remove everything Christian from taxpayer supported institutions, forcing Christians to do business with Biblically ungodly homosexuals under threat of a civil suit, increasing the deficit, keeping Obamacare rather than more Free Market medical reforms and on and on.
 
I’d have to do some more exploring into Jeb Bush to pin down some exact criticism rather than suspicions. Michelle Malkin has a good start toward a Jeb examination. Ironically I found this Malkin opinion piece in GOP USA. Perhaps that is an indication that GOP USA is not an Establishment dominated tool of the Republican Party.

Allow me to unite America’s left, right and center in just three words: No, Jeb, No.
 
Former GOP Florida governor Jeb Bush made the obvious official this week when he announced on Facebook that he’s “actively exploring” a 2016 White House run. Of course, he’s running. That’s what inveterate politicians do.
 
Well, I hate to break it to Jeb Inc. There’s no popular groundswell for Bush Part III. None, zip, nada. Independents, progressives and conservatives are all weary of the entrenched bipartisan dynasties that rule Washington and ruin America. Only in the hallowed bubble of D.C. and New York City elites does a Jeb Bush presidential bid make any sense.
 
Jeb’s indulgent (and ultimately doomed) enterprise has three privileged constituencies: Big Business, Big Government and Big Media. This iron triumvirate explains how the failed campaigns of so-called “pragmatic,” “thoughtful” and “moooooderate” liberal Republican candidates such as John McCain, Jon Huntsman and Bob Dole ever got off the ground. The “Reasonable Republican,” anointed and enabled by the statist Big Three, serves as a useful tool for bashing conservatives and marginalizing conservatism.
 
For Republicans who argue that Jeb is the most “electable” choice, I ask: What planet are you on? After two disastrous terms of Barack Obama’s Hope and Change Theater, the last thing the Republican Party needs is an establishment poster child for Washington business as usual. I mean, really? A third Bush who’s been working for his dad, his dad’s friends or the government since 1980?
 
A Beltway-ensconced scion so chummy with the Clinton family that he awarded close family friend — and potential 2016 nemesis — Hillary a “Liberty Medal” last year as chairman of the National Constitution Center?
 
That’s the GOP donor bigwigs’ “fresh idea” for “American Renewal?”
 
To blunt criticism from the grassroots base on the right, Jeb’s cheerleaders at the Wall Street Journal cite his “conservative” gubernatorial record of cutting taxes and privatizing jobs. So we’re supposed to swoon when a GOP governor acts like he’s supposed to act on standard, bread-and-butter GOP issues? Whoop-de-doo.
 
One thing Jeb’s promoters won’t be emphasizing: Over the course of his eight years in the Florida governor’s mansion, government spending skyrocketed. The libertarian Cato Institute notes that Florida general fund spending “increased from $18.0 billion to $28.2 billion during those eight years, or 57 percent” and that “(t)otal state spending increased from $45.6 billion to $66.1 billion, or 45 percent.”
 
Like big-spending father, like big-spending big brother, like big-spending second son and lil’ brother.
 
I have another interpretation of Bush’s “conservative” Florida years: It’s called biding his time. Yes, Jeb put in his obligatorily GOP service on taxes and the Second Amendment. Not because he was wedded to deep-rooted principles, mind you. But because the “conservative” facade will come in handy during the primaries when he has to defend radical, divisive positions on his two defining national policy issues: Education and immigration.
 
Jeb Bush’s agenda is neither left nor right. His agenda is the agenda of the D.C. headquarters of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Remember: The chamber is a politically entrenched synod of bipartisan special interests. As I’ve said before, these fat cats do not represent the best interests of American entrepreneurs, American workers, American parents and students or Americans of any race, class or age who believe in low taxes and limited government.
 
The chamber’s business is the big business of the Beltway, not the business of mainstream America. And so is Jeb Bush’s.
 
The Chamber supports mass amnesty for cheap, illegal alien workers. Jeb Bush supports mass legalization of cheap, illegal alien workers and accuses those of us who oppose it on constitutional, sovereignty, security and fairness grounds of lacking “compassion.”
 
The Chamber supports the top-down, privacy-undermining, local autonomy-sabotaging Common Core racket. Jeb Bush spearheaded and profited from Common Core — and accuses those of us who oppose it of opposing academic excellence for our own children. Jeb’s problem isn’t just Common Core. It’s that he has no core. Instead of retreating from the costly federalized scheme that has alienated teachers, administrators and parents of all backgrounds, Bush has doubled down with his Fed Ed control freak allies and corporate donors.
 
The reign of Obama ushered in massive cronyism, corporate favoritism and Boomtown boondoggles galore. We’ve lived too long already under the boot of arrogant D.C. bureaucrats who’ve exploited their power to serve their friends.
 
No more business as usual: Stop Jeb Bush.

Dajjal posted a comment to the post “Dems Betraying America – It will be Stopped One Way or Another” on the NCCR blog dated 12/11/14. The post with that title was really some thoughts on a post by Danny Jeffrey entitled “Thirty Pieces of Silver” originally placed on Danny’s blog Fix Bayonets.

 

This probably an injustice to Danny’s post: The Thirty Pieces of Silver post’s theme is that American politics has become too corrupted by fringe Left Democrats to return to the principles of the vision of the Founding Fathers. That irreversible political situation is made worse because the Establishment Republicans have colluded (wittingly or unwittingly) with the Dems that threaten the U.S. Constitution. Danny views America’s last hope is no-compromise Conservative Senator Ted Cruz. However, it is too late for Cruz too effect any change because the GOP Establishment will do everything to prevent a Cruz election as President.

 

Since not even a great Conservative as Senator Cruz can undo Leftist damage America is only left with one option to rid the Republic established in the USA. That option is for a coup d’état ridding America of Leftist leadership authority.

 

In my post “Dems Betraying America” I concurred with Danny that a coup might indeed occur; however I refused to believe a grassroots movement either among Conservatives taking over the Republican Party on a County by County and State by State manner could lead to Constitutional changes that could reverse Dem damage to what has made America exceptional.

 

As you will read Dajjal totally disagrees that a coup will occur in the USA.

While I acknowledge the validity of the pessimism expressed in the citations below [Blog Editor: I am guessing both my view and Danny’s], I absolutely reject suggestions of military coups & violent revolutions. The officer corps has been purged of patriots and the armed forces have superior organization and fire power. Abandon those damn fool dreams entirely.

Barry Morris Goldwater was nominated in ’64 because the party base recognized the truth and intrinsic merit of his platform. He won in the face of total opposition from the establishment. He lost the general election because the party establishment abandoned him.

 

Ronald Reagan was nominated and won because the electorate recognized the truth and intrinsic merit of his platform and the ‘crats re-nominated an accursed traitor who hurt this nation immensely. The nomination of George H.W. Bush was a fatal flaw, an abandonment of principle in favor of expediency. We must learn from that error so that we never repeat it.

 

If it is not too late, it soon will be. Discover the election schedule and run a full slate of Conservatives for GOP precinct delegates. Run a Conservative slate for delegates to the state convention. Nominate Conservatives to the RNC and retake control of the party.

Pick one principled, articulate, aggressive Conservative such as Ted Cruz and back him to the hilt. Organize and motivate voters in the early primaries and caucuses. Tell the nattering nabobs of negativism who preach lifting the ‘crat’s tail and inserting our tongues to go to Hell and be damned. Plug your ears to the siren song of “the only one who can win”.

 

The prospective nominee must build an organization capable of selecting able minded and willing Conservative nominees for all open House & Senate seats and build a Conservative slate. Every RINO who voted for cloture on Obama Don’t Care and other damaging acts of Obamination must have principled, articulate and aggressive primary opposition.

Learn the forgotten lesson of ’80 – victory is not absolute and final. Every election cycle must be hotly contested. RINOs & LibTurds must be replaced with Conservatives. Conservative principles must be clearly expressed and successfully marketed. Balkanization & identity politics must be rejected. The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance: we can never go back to sleep.

Yesterday Danny Jeffrey wrote what many Conservative Patriots will find disturbing. Danny lays out the scenario of the Republican Establishment Elites running the GOP to the detriment of the Conservative vision to keep America great. Danny points out the Senator Cruz could be the last hope for a Reagan-like figure to set the ship of our Republic aright. He believes that never will happen because of the collusion of the GOP Establishment with the Leftist (Danny prefers the term “Progressive”) Dems in maintaining corruption duping America’s voters. Below is the comment I posted to his essay entitled “THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER”:

 

Danny I sense that your outlook on America’s elections and America’s ruling elite among both the Dems and the GOP is very prescient. In my case I am probably one of those hard cases that desires to retain faith in the Constitutional process that America still enjoys. However, the scenario you have developed is extremely plausible. And that plausibility is very said for me.

 

A coup d’état by American Generals is also plausible. After all history shows us that when the Roman Republic’s governing situation became too corrupt with deceit, bribes and manipulating the favor of Roman citizens eventually led to the Roman factions vying for popular Generals. Julius Caesar won. Then Octavius Caesar managed a coalition of winning Roman Generals that defeated die-hard Republic supporters (the supporters who were still faction oriented subject to bribes and corruption).

 

If the Constitutional process fails as you predict, then the American Republic will probably evolve to some kind of one-man rule able to maintain some kind coalition of Generals.

 

I neglected to mention that Octavius was Julius’ nephew and became what is consider the first Emperor of Rome. Julius’ family name became synonymous – Caesar – with Emperor for centuries of the Roman Empire. Octavius was considered a benevolent leader compared to future Caesars that would rule Rome. Octavius’ (or Octavian) named was changed to Augustus as a name of honor. His reign was about 45 years ending in 14 AD.

 

If the government becomes so corrupt that We the People and some annoyed people of power grow weary of the corruption maintained by the Dems and the apparent collusion of the Republican Establishment, could Senator Ted Cruz be America’s Octavius?

 

As I said I still have faith in the Constitution of America’s Republic. A coup d’état that threw off the Left Wing agenda would still be a government that would break the existence of that Constitution. America might remain great but for very different reasons than our Constitution made America great.

 

The only way to preserve America’s Constitution legacy is for a Ted Cruz-type leader to grip the attention of American voters either by taking over the GOP, forming a viable alternative political party or by forcing the constitutional path to a Constitutional convention in which delegates are chosen on a grassroots level rather than any political party national leadership.

 

If the constitutional process does not take effect, then most assuredly Danny Jeffries prescient predictions will come to fruition.

 

I encourage you to read Danny’s “Thirty Pieces of Silver”. Then you should really follow that up with at least Part Three of an ongoing essay entitled, “Conservatives in Fantasy Land” which was posted today 12/11/14. You probably will even desire to backtrack to Parts One and Two.

The term ‘Thirty pieces of silver’ always invokes the image of betrayal, and so you probably know where this essay is leading.

I have long written of my belief that there is NO political solution to the problems we face today. This one essay, Tahrir Square U.S.A., dates back to February of 2014. Allow me to offer an excerpt:

 

‘I make no secret of the fact that I have absolutely no belief that there is a political solution to today’s problems. No election is going to alter the course of this nation. If that course is to be altered it will be done only with an uprising of our people as we witnessed occurring in Tahrir Square in Egypt. Anything less and we are simply delaying until tomorrow what should have been done years ago.’


Another excerpt from the same essay:

 

‘In a recent essay Of Moral Leaders And Sleeper Cells In The GOP I put forth the idea that the 2014 election that so many look forward to will change nothing. Even if we hold the House and gain the Senate the GOP is so heavily infiltrated by Progressives we are still on the road to ruin. The numbers that really matter are not Republicans vs Democrats, it is Progressives vs Patriots. That is where we come up short.’


Sadly most Americans have not yet come to the same realization that I did years ago. They, still following in the same beaten paths that their parents trod, grumble in near silence and await the next election when we hope we will get it right. My friends there will be no next election. Before November of 2016 we will see widespread anarchy and chaos, a financial collapse, and martial law. It is beginning right now. If in the unlikely event an election does come about it will simply be a well choreographed sham to appease those who still have not been able to comprehend what has already taken place.


One after another conservative ‘heroes’ have stepped forth uttering the right words and American conservatives have swooned over their new found messiah. Then one after another those messiahs have proven to have feet of clay as one after another they sold us out.


The one exception to that thus far, and I do believe him to be a man of true integrity, is Ted Cruz. Today, the frightened, the weary, and the desperate turn to Senator Cruz as our last and only hope. I hope that you choose to read past the bad news as that is where you will discover the truth.


The Bad News: Ted Cruz will never be President unless the American military stages a coup d’état and puts him into the Oval Office.


The Truth:

We hope to rid this nation of its emperor. Short of assuming the temporary powers of an emperor Ted Cruz could not possibly govern.

Here is why:

 
I am not telling you anything new in writing that the Democratic leadership sold us out long ago and have now become the next best thing to communists. Nor am I telling you anything new in writing that the GOP is in hot pursuit, following their Democratic allies to the far left, leaving us high and dry, leaderless and unrepresented in the process.

Years ago I wrote that there would never be another like Reagan. I grow more certain of that fact with each passing day, even though Cruz seems to have the same vision that Reagan once had. However, in this day and age Senator Cruz is the odd man out. The problem is that prior to Reagan the Progressives had been slowly changing our laws, taking over a little at a time then Reagan rocked the boat, and put America back on course. Years ago I wrote that the Progressives would never allow this to happen again. Today I am more convinced than then that I was correct.

Ronald Reagan was a man with a dream and he largely fulfilled that dream to the benefit of the American public, but he did not get into office without help from the leaders of the Republican Party. He did not choose George H.W. Bush as his running mate. The powers that be did, knowing that Bush would in all likelihood become the next President. He did indeed and shortly announced the coming of the New World Order (Video).

 

The NWO which I now refer to as Transnational Progressives will never again allow one such as Ronald Reagan or Ted Cruz to influence the direction of world events. Nor will they ever allowPrince Charles as Muslim Jihadi another such as Margaret Thatcher in England. Today we have the likes of David Cameron telling his people they should be more like the Muslims and a member of the royal family leading the way. This is not just happening in the U.S., this progressive movement is gaining control of all of the nations of the west, and this is the group to which our elected officials are selling out. You have all heard of George Soros; he is but the front man, liking the lime light.

But out of desperation, hundreds of pro-Ted Cruz groups are forming, and many thousands of frightened followers believe him to be our last hope. Let us be realistic. I stated above that short of being emperor, Cruz could not govern. I shall now explain why.

So many have posted the rallying cry of ‘Impeach Obama’. That will never happen as none in the Democratic Party and few in the GOP would vote for such a thing. Today … Here and now … Put Ted Cruz into the oval office and ALL Democrats and Most Republicans would vote for impeachment. Senator Cruz is one brave man and he has often revealed the intent of the Republican elite to you, making him none too popular with the puppet masters of the GOP and their puppet masters in the worldwide progressive movement. So many from his own party would love to have Cruz’s head on a platter.

Obama has enemies to be certain, but not nearly as many as Ted Cruz. Hussein, knowing the ways of communism, has much in common with Joseph Stalin, including the practice of ‘Keep your friends close but keep your enemies even closer.’ Those who have opposed Obama have been bought off one at a time and brought into the fold; thirty pieces of silver, or perhaps thirty million. The exact terms of their capitulation matters not, but they each had their price.

Ted Cruz buys none. As a man of honor he appeals to the sense of honor he expects of his fellow Republicans, not yet understanding that they have none. The following two paragraphs are excerpted from my last essay Conservatives In Fantasy Land Part Two, to illustrate my point:

Cruz rallied the crowd saying, “This is a choice between truth and mendacity,” pointing out that many Republicans campaigned during the midterm elections on stopping executive amnesty.


“What I’m here urging my fellow Republicans to do is very, very simple. Do what you said you’d do”

Reread Ted Cruz’s last sentence in the above excerpt. Why would he sound as though he is almost begging his fellow Republicans to honor their promise to the American people. Why should such a man have to beg? Should we not, in all fairness, expect them to honor their words?

 

 

But … are they doing what they said that they would do?

I have used the following before to warn you of the traitors in the GOP. I use it here to illustrate why the same GOP will never allow Cruz to be elected, and I shall probably use it again when the situation demands for it is a powerful statement of fact.

First off, I find it impossible to believe that 216 House Republicans were tricked, nor that they needed to be. The House leaders agreed to be the bad guys to provide cover for the progressive sleeper cells in the Party.

BOEHNER DROPS 1,603-PAGE OMNIBUS SPENDING BILL, SECURING FUTURE OF OBAMA’S AMNESTY

There are 435 members of the House, and to pass this bill, Boehner and his allies—including Louisiana’s Republican Whip Steve Scalise and California’s Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy—need to get 218 votes. There are 234 Republicans in the House as the 113th Congress finishes its final days of the lame duck post-election session, meaning Boehner could theoretically pass a bill that all Republicans agree with.


But according to Arizona Republican Rep. Matt Salmon, a conservative, there are at least 50 Republicans—probably more—who won’t vote for this bill. If even 18 Republicans vote against the bill, that means Boehner needs Nancy Pelosi and her top lieutenant Steny Hoyer to get to 218.

Now look at the numbers above. 234 Republicans in the House. Fifty of them may choose to oppose Obama’s treason. That is less than one in four Republicans, and counting the whole House, less than one in eight.

This is why I am telling you that Ted Cruz cannot get elected nor govern. Traitors far outnumber our patriots. The traitors could block his every move and pass anything they so choose, and when he vetoed their treachery, they would simply override the veto. This has always been the American way, and now it is being turned into a weapon against us.

I feel that Ted Cruz has the makings of a Reagan, a Lincoln, or a Jefferson, but he never will do so because he is in the wrong country. That comment has nothing to do with the debate about being born in Canada and his eligibility to run. It is my reflections on a statement made by John Adams so many years ago.

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Ted Cruz is a man who believes in and would govern by the Constitution, but our people, due to their failing morality, parted company with the Constitution long ago. I cannot help but feel that so many our of (sic) citizens are undeserving of a man such as Senator Cruz.

Take a hop with me across the pond to the Netherlands where another great patriot is being hounded by the progressive overlords. Geert Wilders had the courage to warn his people of the Islamic danger, but such warnings are not politically correct. In fact a man can go to jail for speaking out against Islam.

Geert Wilders, in many ways reminds me of our own Senator Cruz. Both are men of conviction, men of integrity, and men of courage, and both are standing against an overwhelming tide of evil. I cannot help but believe that Ted Cruz would echo the words of Martin Luther King as quoted by Geert Wilders.

… My first website [Blog Editor: i.e. Freedom Rings 1776] was named with a sense of optimism, while this one is from a sense of desperation, for we are most assuredly losing in the political arena. Since Obama was first chosen by the Progressive overlords, we have been subjected to betrayal, deceit, a loss of liberty, and rampant corruption, and as an honest people, we simply do not know how to engage on their terms.

We seek truth while they propagate lies. We hope to engage in honest debate, but the Progressives shun that honesty for it exposes their plan of domination, while liberals turn away choosing not to know the truth. We hear epithets such as ‘Racists’, “Bigots’, ‘War on Women’, and ‘Islamophobia’, while they delude America with feel good platitudes about ‘equality’, ‘fairness’, ‘helping the poor’, and ‘sharing the wealth’; the very things the Founders warned about.

Look at the vicious attacks launched on those such as Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Ted Cruz, Luis Gohmert, and many others. The success of those attacks can be laid squarely in the laps of our RINOs, for they have infiltrated what was once the party of Lincoln and Reagan, and smear any who have the courage to stand for the Constitution. These traitors to us, their party, and our country, march in lockstep with our enemy for they have given their final seal of approval on what is to become of this nation.

I no longer sign petitions, phone my Representative, Email my Progressive Senators, or believe that there is any political solution to today’s events, or the slightest hope of change in elections to come. Our enemies own the voting machines and adjust the vote as they deem appropriate. They allow people such as John McCain, Lindsey Graham, John Boehner, and Chris Christie to remain in office to foster the myth that the Republican Party is still viable and fighting for America, but this is no more than illusion, smoke and mirrors!

Such traitors have charted our course, and if we continue on the path they have laid out then we may as well take down the Stars and Stripes, and retire that noble standard with a solemn dignity, then behold the specter as the world slips into another dark age of a thousand years.

The entire Democratic Party has morphed into the American Communist Party, with the elite of the GOP following in hot pursuit, leaving us, the conservatives behind. They seek the votes of the growing multitude of those who put their own private agenda ahead of the entire future of the United States.

In short, I have cast off all of my once held beliefs in the wisdom of ‘The People’. They are not wise. They are greedy, self centered, self serving, and could give a hoot less about what is happening to this once great nation. Of such people and their future I have no concern. I find strength in the company of those who still care for what this country was in our younger days, for they are the ones who have long carried the burden and kept the torch of freedom aglow.

We may well find that our efforts are too little and too late, but if freedom is ever restored it will be due to our efforts, and ours alone. Patriots gave birth to our liberty, and if that liberty is lost, then we have none to blame but ourselves. If on the other hand, it is ever reborn, it will be by READ ENTIRETY

Justin Smith writes a brilliant piece on President Barack Hussein Obama’s immigration amnesty speech notifying America on television he has the constitutional authority to provide amnesty on his terms for illegal aliens (the more pc term these days is illegal immigrants) coming and staying in America beyond the rule of law’s stipulations.

 

I am trying real hard not to mar Justin’s essay with my editorial comments and links so I am handling that issue with a quote some interesting links to the quote:

Now I realize Mainstream Republicans claim impeachment is a bad idea because of the belief the Senate would never garner the sufficient votes for a conviction. AND I realize the Leftist Dems are openly daring Republicans to proceed with an impeachment process propagandizing the same fears of the Mainstream Republicans. BUT dear God in Heaven, there is more than enough constitutional criteria to impeach Obama and to convict him.

 

If the Republicans fail to make a substantial effort to smear the Dems’ faces with the legitimate impeachable criteria, then Justin’s solution in his last paragraph becomes a greater possibility to occur!

A Constitutional Crisis

No U.S. President has the right to destroy the U.S. Constitution and completely disregard it, in the course of his duty to all Americans. We are supposed to be a nation of laws, but on November 20, 2014 Obama became a rogue president, and he unilaterally declared amnesty for 30 million illegal aliens, by my count, as he violated the principles of separation of powers that serve as the bulwark to protect our liberties, defying the American people, the election results and usurping the legislative process and essentially saying “to hell with the Constitution.”

 

President Obama has threatened to enact an “immigration reform bill” through executive order for months now, if Congress did not pass a bill he could sign, even though the real issue is not one of reforms but rather one of enforcement. All the “immigration reform” in the world will not matter in the face of a Congress reluctant to enforce the law. This is the reason the Secure Fence Act of 2006 still leaves a fence with holes in it, and our southern border is porous as ever.

 

Article I Section 8 of the Constitution gives Congress exclusive authority to “establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization … “And it is the president’s Constitutional duty under Article II Section 3, to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed … .”

 

Can anyone point to a single provision, Article or Section of the Constitution that suspends the principles of separation of powers and supersedes Congressional authority anytime a president, in his sole discretion, decides such because Congress hasn’t met his legislative demands?

 

This new Executive Amnesty of Obama’s will protect approximately 5 million illegal aliens from deportation and grant them work permits, according to Josh Earnst, Press Secretary, and other White House sources. Other than certain far-left, fringe progressive law professors, who advocate a post-Constitutional America, no one seriously believes that Obama has the authority to do this, even under “prosecutorial discretion,” and not a single Democrat has been able to cite any authority for this act.

 

Immediately after Obama’s Executive Amnesty Speech, Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) stated, “Attempts to undermine the law via executive fiat, regardless of motivation, are dangerous. The President himself recognized his inability to do [this] …” in the past.

 

Twenty-two times Obama has stated that he does not have the legal or Constitutional authority to grant amnesty to millions, once saying he is not an “emperor” but a president. He even argued against amnesty in his 2006 book ‘The Audacity of Hope’.

 

The Obama administration is now justifying Obama’s action through prosecutorial discretion, as they contend that he can decide which groups of immigrants should be a priority. Obama is also arguing that he can go further and use “deferred action” to formally protect certain immigrants from deportation.

Significant differences exist between Obama’s recent EO and President Ronald Reagan’s 1987 policy. Reagan deferred deportation for children of illegal aliens, who had been granted amnesty, placing them on a path to becoming naturalized citizens, which was the general intent of Congress at the time, since a “one time” blanket amnesty had just passed. Obama is going against the will of Congress again, which considered and rejected his DREAM Act on several occasions, including when both houses of Congress were controlled by the Democratic Party.

 

Obama is bypassing Congress entirely. He is unConstitutionally revising existing law and, without Congressional approval, imposing new ones that have been explicitly rejected by Congress numerous times, thereby acting like the emperor of immigration policy.

 

Rep Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said, “Tonight President Obama issued a royal decree, as any good monarch would do … This president is single handedly creating a Constitutional crisis and hurting the citizens he took an oath to protect and defend.”

 

James Madison wrote in Federalist Paper #47, “the accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”

 

One countermeasure is to defund all non-essential government agencies, since the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services is self-funded through immigration application fees, according to House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers (R-KY). Defunding most of the government will force Obama to choose between his Executive Amnesty or a government shutdown, and Congress should not be afraid or balk at using this option. A government shutdown would show Obama that the Republicans are willing to fight.

In a Fox News appearance, Rep Michele Bachmann (R-MN) called on Americans to rally on December 3rd at high noon on the west steps of the Capitol and tell Congress to “defund amnesty.”

 

Speaker John Boehner’s lawsuit against Obama’s executive overreach, represented by George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, is a sham. Everybody understands that Obama will be gone by the time it is settled, and his Executive Amnesty will have become de facto law, unless a successor has the guts to rescind it. One must wonder if Boehner and Senator Mitch McConnell are siding with Obama, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Wall Street Journal, because McConnell stated “there won’t be any shutdowns on my watch” after winning re-election.

 

It is no accident that the Constitution’s first substantive words are “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States.” Because of the problems experienced through delegated authority in England, the Framers understood that such authority, currently utilized by today’s U.S. Congress in empowering Presidential Executive orders, leads to dangerous absolutism – extra-legal, supra-legal and consolidated power. And, although the Constitution carefully barred this threat, Constitutional doctrine has since legitimized this dangerous sort of power; therefore, Americans should no longer accept some vague notion of “rule of law” that allows uncontrolled delegation through executive orders, but rather, Americans must demand rule through the law and under the law.

 

If the Republicans in Congress do not act more forcefully than a lawsuit by March 10th, by March 15th every Son and Daughter of Liberty, who loves America, must arm themselves and march on the Capitol Building and the White House, prepared to fight if necessary, to end this elective despotism, or otherwise, accept that the Republic, the rule of law and Freedom in America have vanished. Americans must not let any President place himself above the Constitution and accountability to the American people he is duty bound to defend and protect.

It is my opinion that Move America Forward (MAF) is the USA’s preeminent pro-military organization. MAF’s primary message is to organize material support for the military personnel fighting overseas. That material support is in the nature of care packages that includes both scarce necessities (e.g. toiletries) and to a lesser degree some comforts (perhaps like treats). Here at home MAF acts as a public service for families of overseas military personnel. MAF in its early days began to expose anti-military organizations that tarnished the reputation of the military or actively participated in protests harmful to America’s war efforts which means potentially harmful to overseas military personnel.

 

MAF began to understand that Left Wing attack dogs would thus begin to come out of the woodwork to denigrate MAF efforts. Without investigating the details it is probably a good guess Left Wing individuals and organizations would begin to whine about MAF’s non-profit tax deductible status. Hence the formation of a political wing called MAF Freedom PAC (MAFPAC.org).

 

Keeping all this in mind MAF Freedom PAC supports political candidates for Office that or both Conservative and pro-military in their outlook. One such candidate is the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Alaska – Dan Sullivan (MAFPAC.org email below).

 

Sullivan is in a tight race with the Dem Party incumbent Senator Mark Begich. Senator Begich is taking the typical Left Wing path of disinformation, character assassination and downright lying to win reelection:

What a surprise that Begich is lying to his voters, I mean after all he is a Dem, right?

Senator Begich misled Alaska voters by insinuating he had the support of Senator Lisa Murkowski who won her reelection running as an Independent write-in because she lost her Republican Primary to Tea Party endorsed candidate Joe Miller in 2010. (It is my opinion the GOP Establishment sold-out Miller so Murkowski would still caucus as a Republican.) Senator Murkowski has very publicly denied any endorsement of the Dem incumbent Senator Begich.

 

Mark Begich has spent the last month trying to exploit Senator Lisa Murkowski by suggesting that she supports his candidacy (she doesn’t). Begich has repeatedly run ads using Murkowski’s image and likeness – against her will – and now suggests that the only reason she opposes his ads is because she doesn’t like her picture in them.

 

 

Here’s the backstory:

 

·         On August 7, Politico reported: “Representatives for GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski are demanding that her fellow Alaskan, Democratic Sen. Mark Begich, take down a campaign ad featuring her image — an unusual instance of two sitting senators from the same state in a public spat. …In a letter disseminated on Thursday, the law firm for Murkowski’s Senate committee skewered a Begich ad in a cease-and-desist missive. The ad in question, “Great Team,” features Murkowski and Begich appearing together, along with testimony from an individual who says he is a lifelong Republican, a Murkowski voter —and also a Begich supporter.”

 

·         On August 11th, Sen. Begich refused to take down the Murkowski ad: Reports made clear: “Mark Begich, Alaska Democrat, said he doesn’t plan to take down a campaign ad showing him working together with his Republican colleague, Sen. Lisa Murkowski. Ms. Murkowski has sent Mr. Begich a cease-and-desist letter to stop playing the television ad, saying that he used her likeness without her permission.”

 

·         On September 28th, Sen. Begich brazenly ran another ad featuring Lisa Murkowski: KTVA reported, “It comes after Murkowski earlier in the campaign called on Begich to stop running a similar ad. And it comes days after Murkowski was featured in an ad endorsing Begich’s GOP rival, Dan Sullivan.”

 

·         On October 24, Mark Begich claimed the only reason that Lisa Murkowski was mad about the ads is because she didn’t like her photo: During a recent debate, Dan Sullivan asked Mark Begich why he repeatedly used Senator Murkowski in his campaign ads against her will. Senator Begich’s obnoxious (not to mention sexist) response? “She didn’t like the photo. That’s what the letter was about, Dan.”

Despite overwhelming evidence, Senator Mark Begich (D., Alaska) denied having attacked Republican Ted Stevens in attack ads during the 2008 Senate campaign.

 

The issue came up during a debate Thursday night between Begich and Dan Sullivan. Sullivan questioned Begich regarding wrongful accusations against Stevens and whether Begich regretted running the incorrect attack ads.

 

Begich, presumably hoping no one with access to Youtube was paying attention boldly stated, “I didn’t run attack ads.”

Now I don’t live in Alaska but I gotta tell ya, for an Alaskan voter to actually vote for Senator Mark Begich’s reelection that person must really be dedicated to the Democratic Party, political liars and dirty politicians.

Dan Sullivan as Lt. Col.

In 2004 he was active duty for a year and a half in the Middle East serving as high ranking staff in the U.S. military Central Command Office (CENTCOM) which oversees all operations in the Middle East. Back in 2004, that meant both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Dan has an impressive list of accolades even beyond his sterling military service. Like Tom Cotton, a fellow veteran running for U.S. Senate, Dan went to Harvard where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Economics. He studied Law at Georgetown which is where he met his wife Julie, also a law student at the prestigious school.

Dan’s experience in the Marines made him a tough-as-nails leader who never backs down and for whom surrender is not an option! He’s fighting a tough race against Mark Begich, a typical Democrat politician who runs to the right during election season, distancing himself from Obama and his liberal views, but as soon as they get elected these liberals always show their true colors.

Begich has shown this in his support for President Obama’s inaction in confronting ISIS. In a recent debate, Begich supported Obama’s policy of a hands-off fight against ISIS, with no troops and only very limited bombing. Sullivan pounced on the opportunity to show how wrong that strategy is.

“Inaction has its own consequences,” Sullivan said, “If we need combat troops to protect personnel, to protect the embassy, to protect ambassadors like we didn’t have in Benghazi, to protect pilots, I would be for it.”

His opponent, Begich, was silent and offered no such commitment to protecting our citizens or our interests abroad.

Lt. Colonel Dan Sullivan is the kind of veteran we need to send to the U.S. Senate, he will stand up for our troops and push for a strong national defense to confront the growing threats from ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups.
