PLO calls for terror against Trump’s deal: ‘Escalate the resistance and the struggle… in all its forms’

The inherent Jew-hatred is evident by Muslim Palestinians when their leaders call for violence EVEN before examining President Trump’s peace plan labeled The Deal of the Century. Not that even an examination would matter when a religion tells its adherents to hate anything refusing to bow to Islamic Supremacism.

PLO calls for terror against Trump’s deal: ‘Escalate the resistance and the struggle… in all its forms’

Palestine Media Watch

PLO calls for terror:

“Escalate the resistance and the struggle… in all its forms and manners”

  •  Fatah: “We will redeem you with our blood, #Palestine”
  •  PA: “No” to Trump’s “deal of the century”

“#No_to_the_deal_of_the_century

In anticipation of the revelation of US President Trump’s Middle East peace plan – the so-called “deal of the century” – the PLO, the PA, and Fatah are emphasizing their rejection of the still unknown plan. They have also announced a “day of rage” on the day the plan is revealed, and called for “escalation of resistance” – a Palestinian euphemism for violence and terror.

Abbas’ Fatah Movement posted a photo of a Palestinian rock thrower in a call for violence accompanied by text implicitly encouraging Palestinians to seek death as martyrs for “Palestine”:

Posted text and text on image: “We will redeem you with our blood, #Palestine” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 26, 2020)

Similarly, the PLO urged Palestinians to “escalate the resistance and the struggle” against Israel “in all its forms and manners.” Terms like “all forms” and “all means” are ‎used by PA leaders to include the use of all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails:

“The [Palestinian] National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) again expressed its objection to every plan, project, deal, or attempt to harm the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights…  The National Council yesterday [Jan. 26, 2020] demanded that the PLO Executive Committee implement all of the National Council and [PLO] Central Council’s decisions – and foremost among them the decision determining that the transition period has ended with all of the political, security, and financial obligations in it towards the Israeli occupation – and also to take all the necessary steps to encourage and escalate the resistance and the struggle against the occupation in all its forms and manners.” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 27, 2020)

Palestinian groups also declared the day Trump announces his peace plan a “day of mass rage.” Palestinian Media Watch has documented that PA and Fatah leaders view “days of rage” as preludes to “intifadas” – campaigns of violence and terror.

The [Palestinian] National and Islamic Forces of the Ramallah and El-Bireh district have declared the date of the announcement of ‘the deal of disgrace’ as a day of mass rage in response to the American-Israeli aggression, on which the Palestinian people will say its piece in one voice: the deal will not pass, and our people is capable of thwarting it.” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 27, 2020)

The cartoon at the top above shows PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas holding his fingers up in a “V” for victory, but in place of his hand is the first word of the text: “No to the deal of the century.” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 23, 2020)

The PA presidency has also announced that “there is no discussion with the American administration, neither brief nor long,” and that its position is unwavering on “everything regarding the unacceptable deal of the century.” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 25, 2020)

Another Fatah post showed a tiny Trump facing a giant Palestinian rock thrower:

Posted text: “#No_to_the_deal_of_the_century”
Text at center of image: “No to the deal of the century” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 26, 2020)

The following are additional posts against Trump’s peace plan posted by Fatah:

Posted text: “#No_to_the_deal_of_the_century”
Text at bottom of image: “No to the deal of the century”

At the top of the poster is the Fatah logo that includes a grenade, crossed rifles, and the PA map of “Palestine” that presents all of Israel as “Palestine” together with the PA areas. Under the logo is written: “Palestinian National Liberation Movement ‘Fatah’ Mobilization and Organization Commission Information Office” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 26, 2020)

Posted text and text at bottom of image: “No to the deal of the century” [threatening] (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 23, 2020)

Posted text and text on image: “Thanks to our people’s determination and resolve, the deal of the century will fall” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 26, 2020)

The following are longer excerpts of the texts cited above:

“The [Palestinian] National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) again expressed its objection to every plan, project, deal, or attempt to harm the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights…

In a statement, the National Council yesterday [Jan. 26, 2020] demanded that the PLO Executive Committee implement all of the National Council and [PLO] Central Council’s decisions – and foremost among them the decision determining that the transition period has ended with all of the political, security, and financial obligations in it towards the Israeli occupation – and also to take all the necessary steps to encourage and escalate the resistance and the struggle against the occupation in all its forms and manners (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror). This is in order to defend our people’s permanent rights, which [US President Donald] Trump’s administration and the occupation are attempting to eliminate through what is called ‘the deal of the century’ (i.e., refers to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan, which he said he would reveal to Israeli leaders in late January 2020)…

Palestinian National and Islamic Forces – an unaffiliated coordinating body comprised of representatives from factions in the PLO and outside the PLO. The Palestinian National and Islamic Forces were established in 2000 shortly after the start of the PA terror campaign (the second Intifada, 2000-2005), under the authorization of Yasser Arafat and the leadership of terrorist Marwan Barghouti. During the PA terror campaign it played an active role in coordinating political efforts and terror attacks against Israel, but since the end of the campaign it has been less significant and its activity is primarily centered in Gaza.

Headline: “The Democratic National Coalition called to intensify the popular resistance”

The Palestinian Democratic National Coalition forces called to intensify the popular resistance (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror) in all of the Palestinian territories. The forces – which include the Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF, a terror organization and PLO member; see note below –Ed.), the Arab Liberation Front, the Palestinian Arab Front, and the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front (i.e., all PLO members) – discussed ways of intensifying the popular resistance against the settlement, after their meeting at the Popular Struggle Front’s headquarters in Ramallah…

The Democratic National Coalition forces called on the international community to pressure the extremist right-wing occupation government and [US President Donald] Trump’s administration, the occupation’s partner in its aggression against our people, to immediately stop the settlement and cease the attacks against the Palestinian national rights and sovereignty, in order to prevent pushing the region into a whirlpool of violence whose end will be bad and bitter.” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 24, 2020)

The terms “peaceful uprising/resistance,” and “popular uprising/resistance” are used by PA leaders at times to refer to peaceful protest and at times to refer to deadly terror attacks and terror waves. For example, ‎Mahmoud Abbas defined as “peaceful popular” the murderous terror during the 2015-2016 ‎terror wave (“The Knife Intifada”), in which 40 people were killed (36 Israelis, 1 Palestinian, 2 Americans and 1 Eritrean) and hundreds wounded in stabbings, shootings, and car ramming attacks. Abbas said: “We want peaceful popular uprising, and that’s what this is.” http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=16437

Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF) – A terror organization and member of the PLO. The PLF is headed by Secretary-General Wasel Abu Yusuf who is also a member of the PLO Executive Committee. The PLF has been responsible for numerous terror attacks, including the hijacking of an Italian cruise ship in 1985, in which one Jewish hostage in a wheelchair, Leon Klinghoffer, was shot, and then thrown overboard. The US has listed the PLF as a terror organization.

Headline: “The [PA] presidency: There is no discussion with the American administration regarding what is called ‘the deal of the century’”

“The Palestinian [PA] presidency emphasized yesterday [Jan. 24, 2020] that there is no discussion with the American administration, neither brief nor long. This was in response to American President Donald Trump’s statements, according to which ‘his administration spoke briefly with the Palestinians and we will speak with them again.’

The presidency again emphasized through its Spokesman [and PA Deputy Prime Minister] Nabil Abu Rudeina that the Palestinian position is clear and firm in its rejection of Trump’s decisions regarding Jerusalem (refers to his recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital; see note below –Ed.) and the rest of the issues, and everything regarding the unacceptable deal of the century (i.e., refers to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan).” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 25, 2020)

Nabil Abu Rudeina also serves as PA Minister of Information, Fatah Commissioner of Information, Culture, and Ideology, and Fatah Central Committee member.

US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel – On Dec. 6, 2017, US President Donald Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Trump added that the final borders of Jerusalem will be determined during negotiations.

The US embassy was transferred from Tel Aviv and opened in Jerusalem on May 14, 2018, the anniversary of Israel’s declaration of independence in 1948 according to the Gregorian calendar.

About PMW

Founded in 1996, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) is a non-profit Israeli research institute known internationally for its in-depth research of Palestinian society from a broad range of perspectives. PMW’s findings are sought after by governments, legislators, media outlets, and decision-makers worldwide and have played a central role in correcting inaccurate narratives about the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

PMW’s reports on the Palestinian Authority’s promotion and glorification of terror — which include paying salaries to terrorists; naming schools, sporting events, and public spaces after terrorists; promoting terror in children’s TV programs and schoolbooks, and so much more — have fundamentally changed the way the world sees the Palestinian Authority.

PMW’s exceptional team of Arabic language researchers spends countless hours monitoring, translating, and analyzing PA-controlled newspapers, TV shows, radio programs, social media sites, and schoolbooks to understand the messages the Palestinian Authority and other Palestinian leaders send to their people.

Translated from the original Arabic source, PMW’s findings document a decades-long pattern of the Palestinian Authority’s indoctrination of READ THE REST

The Palestinian Myth

I found this very supportive rendition for a sovereign Jewish nation and the delegitimizing of nationhood of Arabs pretending to be Palestinians on a MeWe group a few days ago. It read much like past chain emails I had read in the past. Due to the “chain email” potential I did not want to place it on my blogs without checking it out even though I am quite the Christian Zionist.

What you are about to read I have validated noted by source links. Where minor errors existed I corrected them to a clearer factual contention than was in the original text. If you are a faux-Palestinian Muslim – boohoo. If you are Jewish committed to your heritage or a Biblical oriented Christian noting the prophetic return of Jews to their Land what that means for the return of Jesus the Messiah/Christ – yeah baby be excited.

The Palestinian Myth

MeWe Group: The Conservatives

I need help from anyone interested in exposing the anthropological miracle or should I say myth known as the ‘ indigenous Palestinians’.

If these so called people ever existed as a race, a culture, a tribe etc.; could anybody assist me with the answers to the following questions.

  1. Name and dates of any wars or battles fought by those identifying themselves as indigenous Palestinians against any foreign or domestic invaders during the period 3000 BC to 1948 AD.

  1. The name of any indigenous Palestinian leader during these wars in this period.

  1. The place of any building constructed by indigenous Palestinians during this period.

  1. The currency used by indigenous Palestinians.

  1. Where in the Quran or Bibles are the indigenous Palestinians mentioned?

  1. What do indigenous Palestinians call themselves in their indigenous language? There is no sound for the letter ‘P’ in Arabic so if the Palestinians in their mother tongue (assuming it’s Arabic) must call themselves Filastinians. This is the Arabic for Philistines who came from Greece and the name derives from the Hebrew word Pleshtim which means invaders. The Philistines became extinct in 1200 BC, So maybe today’s Palestinians think they miraculously were reborn from an extinct race of Greek invaders??? [Blog Editor: Got Questions depends on Biblical asserting Greek origin of Philistines. Two articles reporting on a 2019 archaeological science publication asserts southern European origins implying Greek Islands influence: a) Biblical Philistines Came from Europe, Ancient DNA Reveals; by News Staff; Sci-News.com; 7/4/19 AND b) Ancient Greeks the Biblical Philistine Enemies of Jews, DNA Study Claim; By Philip Chrysopoulos; GreekReporter.com; 7/4/19]

  1. Where is it written that Jerusalem is connected to the indigenous Palestinians? I cannot find the answers to any of the above questions but perhaps someone out there knows….my guess is that indigenous Palestinians are a myth and that those currently identifying themselves as such were simply immigrants from surrounding countries who came to today’s Israel for work created by the economic benefits that Zionism created. [Bold text Blog Editor’s]

We do know that the Palestinians sided with the Nazis during WW2 [Blog Editor – SEE: HERE & HERE] and both the Palestinian Charters of the Palestinian Authorities [Blog Editor: Actually the Palestinian Authority (PA) didn’t come into existence until 1994 via the Oslo Accords. Prior to the PA the primary representative group of Arab Faux-Palestinians was the Palestine Liberation OrganizationGatestone Institute-2016 (PLO – more origin info: The New American-2009 & BREITBART-2015) of Arab-Islamic terrorists. The subsequent dates are PLO Charter dates]  of 1964 and 1968 [PLO Charter Analysis] and the Hamas Charter of 1988 demand the extermination of Jewish people and the subservience to Islam of all other races and religions…..

As an interesting aside, International Law is immutable regarding Israel’s legal borders which include Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) and Gaza.

The League of Nations Treaty of 1922 which includes the Mandate for Palestine, the San Remo Treaty and the Balfour Declaration are specific on this geography and thus Israel’s borders are defined to include both.

When the United Nations [Full UN Charter] took over from the League of Nations all previous Treaties were included, endorsed, honoured legally unchallenged and unchanged as per Article 80 [Article 80 implications for a Jewish nation – HERE & HERE].

The international binding legal principles of Acquired Rights and Estoppel further endorse the immutable legal position of Israel.

6 DEM SENATORS SELL OUT JEWISH TERROR VICTIMS TO RESTORE CASH TO ISLAMIC TERRORISTS

Hamas (pseudo-Palestinian) is a designated terrorist organization. The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO – Brief Summary, Soviet involvement, PLO-PA Transition & Greater Detail) is a terrorist umbrella organization that serves essentially as a confederation of Jew-hating Islamic terrorists. The Palestinian Authority (PA – DTN, Gatestone & American Thinker) is basically the PLO legitimized by idiotic Oslo Accords to set the stage to give non-existent Palestinians a Jew-Hating independent State of Palestine. (Thank God that idiocy has not materialized!)

With that brief background of a group of Arab mostly Muslim created for the sole purpose to Destroy Israel and kill Jews, Daniel Greenfield exposes six Dem Party Senators trying to pass legislation to insure the Fake-Palestinian continue to receive humanitarian aid that is actually used for Islamic terrorism.

6 DEM SENATORS SELL OUT JEWISH TERROR VICTIMS TO RESTORE CASH TO ISLAMIC TERRORISTS

Terrorists need their guns more than their victims need surgeries.

By Daniel Greenfield

April 24, 2019

FrontPageMag.com

Dianne Feinstein PLO Garb Political Cartoon

In 2002, Shmuel Waldman, an American from New Jersey, was shot while boarding a bus in Israel. The terrorist attack killed 2 people and left 40 injured. Among that 40 was Shmuel whose leg was blown apart, forcing him to undergo multiple surgical procedures, and leaving him suffering from PTSD.

The terrorist who shot him was Said Ramadan, a “police officer” working for the terrorists who run the Palestinian Authority. The attack had been planned by senior Palestinian Authority officials and the Palestinian Authority viewed Ramadan as a hero. Waldman joined other victims of terrorism in a lawsuit against the terrorist group, which is funded by American taxpayers, under the Antiterrorism Act.

Waldman v. PLO resulted in a record award of $655 million in damages against the Palestinian Authority terror network. But the verdict was thrown out because an American court lacked jurisdiction over the terrorist group even though the United States provides much of the cash flow that its terrorists rely on.

The Anti-Terrorism Clarification Act was introduced and approved to make it clear that accepting security assistance for its “police force” would place the Palestinian Authority under judicial jurisdiction for lawsuits such as these. The PA could stop funding terrorism or face lawsuits from its victims.

A ruthless battle was waged against ATCA by a variety of groups which understood that the Palestinian Authority would not stop funding and promoting terrorism under any circumstances. These groups falsely claimed that ATCA would undermine American and Israeli security. That was a blatant lie.

The only thing that ATCA would undermine was the flow of tax dollars to Islamic terrorists.

Last year, the Palestinian Authority informed the United States that the terror group would no longer accept any aid from the United States that would expose it to ATCA lawsuits. The terror group’s letter suggested that it might revisit its refusal if the law were changed. That’s just what 6 Democrat senators, led by Senator Dianne Feinstein have set out to do, using the false claim of a humanitarian disaster.

“President Trump’s refusal to provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people is a strategic mistake,” Senator Feinstein claimed, accusing him of “denying funding for clean water, health care and schools in the West Bank and Gaza.”

Senator Chris Coons urged that, “It is critical that we restore lifesaving aid to the West Bank and Gaza.” Senator Jeff Merkley insisted that, “Aid to innocent civilians should not be caught up in broader geopolitical battles. We can and should restore aid to children and other vulnerable populations at the same time as we stand steadfastly by Israel’s security.”

But the real agenda revealed by their resolution shows that it’s not about humanitarian aid, but about restoring funding to the Islamic terrorists of the Palestinian Authority.

While Feinstein claims that Trump is preventing “clean water” and “health care” aid, her own resolution actually begins by admitting that, “the Palestinian Authority’s interpretation of the Anti-Terrorism Clarification Act… led the Palestinian Authority to reject all forms of United States assistance.”

The problem isn’t Trump. It isn’t the United States. It’s that the Palestinian Authority is a terror group.

The Palestinian Authority, on whose behalf Senator Feinstein is advocating, rejected the money that Dianne wants to give the terror group, because it doesn’t want to face American terror victims in court.

Rather than telling the truth about that, Senator Feinstein and her five accomplices start out by lying about the problem, and about what they want to accomplish, while assuming that the media will never report the truth. They are almost certainly right about that. But wrong about everything else.

The resolution, “Expressing the sense of Congress regarding restoring United States bilateral assistance to the West Bank and Gaza”, specifically demands $196 million for the Economic Support Fund, $60 million for International Narcotics Control and Law Enforcement; and another million for anti-terrorism.

But the Palestinian Authority is a terrorist coalition. Some of its components, such as the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, are even officially listed as terrorist groups by the United States. Palestinian Authority “police” deserve the name the same way that ISIS cops did. They’re armed members of a terrorist network with a history of participating in terrorist attacks. This network was set up with United States aid in the Clinton era. Senator Feinstein is vocally insisting that we continue funding terrorists.

If Feinstein, Coons and Merkley were really just concerned about humanitarian assistance, they would not have pushed for funds for the armed components of a terrorist network. This is not about “clean water”, it’s about dirty cash flowing to the enforcers for a terrorist group while leaving their victims out in the cold.

The six senators want the PA’s thugs to get paid, while their victims are left unable to sue them.

Feinstein is joined in this charade by Senator Patrick Leahy, Senator Chris Coons, Senator Chris Van Hollen, and Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, and Senator Jeff Merkely.

Senator Van Hollen claims that he wants to help “millions of children” with this resolution.

“There are thousands of children and families in the West Bank and Gaza who need the aid the United States has historically provided,” Cortez Masto appealed.

Is it thousands or millions? Since it’s not about the children, the fake numbers don’t actually matter.

If the senators read their own resolution, they would see that it frees terrorists from being sued for the foreign aid they receive from American taxpayers by their American victims in United States courts.

No wonder that Feinstein, Coons, Van Hollen, Cortez Masto and Merkely keep talking about children. Caring about children sounds a lot better than trying to help terrorists defraud terror victims.

A number of the Dem senators invoke Trump, attacking and blaming him, but as their own resolution concedes, it was the Palestinian Authority that turned down ATCA aid. How is that Trump’s fault?

Why blame President Trump when your own terrorists would rather kill Jews than take your money?

Senator Feinstein is broadcasting support for her resolution from a variety of “humanitarian” groups. A number of these groups, such as Churches for Middle East Peace, are involved in BDS and other anti-Israel activities. Islamic Relief has been accused of supporting Hamas. As has another NGO on the list.

Feinstein, Van Hollen, Merkley, Coons and Cortez Masto are touting support for their “humanitarian” effort that respects “Israeli security” from Islamic USA whose chair, Khaled Lamada, has allegedly praised Hamas, and distributed conspiracy theories which claim that, the Jews are causing Egyptian Muslims to have sex, plan to invade the Nile Valley and that the Egyptian president is a secret Jew.

Democrats are using support from BDS, anti-Israel and anti-Semitic groups to back this resolution. And they are doing so while lying and misleading about the resolution, its aims and its purpose.

Senator Feinstein and her allies have failed to explain what ATCA is or what “legal liabilities” the Palestinian Authority is attempting to evade. That’s because the plain truth is that the six Senate Democrats are trying to defraud terror victims like Shmuel Waldman under the guise of helping children.

But the “children” they’re helping are grown men who need our money for their guns.

Officially, the United States doesn’t buy guns or bullets for the terrorist police forces. But money is obviously fungible. The funds that the United States puts into terror groups frees them to buy weapons.

It is ironic that Senator Dianne Feinstein, who has been known for her militant opposition to Americans owning firearms, and for holding firearms manufacturers liable for gun violence, wants to force those same Americans to pay for guns for terrorists while exempting those same terrorists from liability.

Palestinian “security officials” don’t just carry pistols, but Kalashnikov rifles. Those aren’t the weapons of law enforcement, but of a terrorist and guerrilla organization. They’re not meant to police, but to war.

Senator Feinstein hates “assault rifles” when Americans have them, not when Islamic terrorists do.

The resolution isn’t really about humanitarian aid. It’s about allowing terrorists to get away with murder. It’s about stealing money from their victims. And about weakening America’s negotiating position with a terrorist group by exempting it from accountability to the courts, to its victims and to our government.

Bolton Gets ICC and Palestinian Authority Attention

John R. Houk

© September 14, 2018

Here’s something in the news cycle you probably have not read or heard about due anti-Trump media bias and anti-Trump media platform bias.

National Security Advisor John Bolton issue a stern warning to the International Criminal Court (ICC) if they unjustly go after the USA or our nation’s allies – SUCH AS ISRAEL – with fake accusations of global crimes merely because the alleged crime is a thumbing of the nose to the evils of Multiculturalism or National self-preservation. AND in conjunction to the Bolton warning, the U.S. has booted the Palestinian Authority out of Washington DC and set up the U.S. Embassy to Israel in Jerusalem.

KEEP IN MIND there never has been a Palestinian nation or people of Arab ancestry in world history. The designation of a “Palestinian People” ONLY came as the now defunct Soviet Union and the Arab League nations created them as a result of failed multiple Arab nations invasions of Israel between 1948 (Israel reclaims their heritage via independence) and 1973.

The pretext for future Arab invasions of Israel was the of liberating Arab-Palestinians  from Israel. Hence the Arab League nations and the Communist USSR formed the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1964. The Arab nations NEVER had any intention of setting up a so-called Palestinian nation. They wanted to invade and fight over who got what land for their own nation’s National Interest. A great analysis of Arabs vs. Jews in what is now Israel is at Stratfor which should be read in entirety but for the purpose of this post – here is a tidbit of relevant info:

Palestinian nationalism’s first enemy is Israel, but if Israel ceased to exist, the question of an independent Palestinian state would not be settled. All of the countries bordering such a state would have serious claims on its lands, not to mention a profound distrust of Palestinian intentions. The end of Israel thus would not guarantee a Palestinian state. One of the remarkable things about Israel’s Operation Cast Lead in Gaza was that no Arab state moved quickly to take aggressive steps on the Gazans’ behalf. Apart from ritual condemnation, weeks into the offensive no Arab state had done anything significant. This was not accidental: The Arab states do not view the creation of a Palestinian state as being in their interests. They do view the destruction of Israel as being in their interests, but since they do not expect that to come about anytime soon, it is in their interest to reach some sort of understanding with the Israelis while keeping the Palestinians contained.

The emergence of a Palestinian state in the context of an Israeli state also is not something the Arab regimes see as in their interest — and this is not a new phenomenon. They have never simply acknowledged Palestinian rights beyond the destruction of Israel. In theory, they have backed the Palestinian cause, but in practice they have ranged from indifferent to hostile toward it. Indeed, the major power that is now attempting to act on behalf of the Palestinians is Iran — a non-Arab state whose involvement is regarded by the Arab regimes as one more reason to distrust the Palestinians. Israel Hayom posted a great editorial on John Bolton, the USA position, Israel and the pseudo-Palestinians (includes cut funding to UNWRA which aided Hamas terrorism in Gaza). I am cross posting from Israpundit where I discovered the editorial.

Putting the PLO in its place

Twelve hours and an ocean separated two important speeches this week. On Monday, U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton addressed the Federalist Society in Washington. The next day, European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini spoke before the EU Parliament in Strasbourg, France.

Bolton made an unprecedented attack on the International Criminal Court in The Hague, saying, “The United States will use any means necessary to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this illegitimate court,” he said.

“If the court comes after us, Israel or other US allies, we will not sit quietly,” Bolton said, adding that ICC judges and prosecutors could face personal sanctions from the U.S., including being banned from entering the U.S. and/or prosecution in the U.S. justice system.

Little was said about Bolton’s speech in Israel but the appreciation for it was as great as the silence about it. The ICC is a major concern for the country’s leaders. The threat of Israelis being tried in The Hague hangs like a sword over their heads. IDF soldiers and commanders could be tried for actions taken as part of their military service, and any approval of construction plans in Greater Jerusalem or on the Golan Heights or in Samaria, could be defined by the ICC as a war crime. This is the widely held position in the ICC, which is exactly where law and politics meet.

Over the years, Israel has taken steps to prevent ICC intervention, but as with any other legal measure, it is hard to know whether they were sufficient. Therefore, we need another level of defense, which Bolton and U.S. President Donald Trump have just supplied. The defense tactics of one small Middle Eastern country bear no similarity to explicit threats from the only superpower in the world. Because the ICC, like all international law, includes both law and politics, there is no doubt that the American threats are having an effect. For years, the ICC has been trying to increase its international legitimacy. Western Europe and Japan are behind it, but the U.S. is not a member, and plenty of other countries criticize its approach and policies.

The ICC might have responded to Bolton’s speech by saying declaring it would continue to work undeterred, but even in The Hague they know that while if you spit in America’s face, it gets wet, but if America spits back, you’ll drown.

Less than a day after Bolton spoke, Mogherini stood up before the EU Parliament. She also discussed justice, the law, and Israel, but took a slightly different line, saying: “The Israeli High Court last week rejected the petitions by the residents of the Palestinian village of Khan al-Ahmar. … [The demolition] would be contrary to Israel’s obligations under international humanitarian law [AK: a misleading statement, the High Court of Justice spent a decade reviewing the petitions and is obligated to international law]. … The demolition of Khan al-Ahmar, together with plans for further settlement expansions in the same area, would also severely threaten the viability of the two-state solution [AK: untrue].”

Mogherini added that the evacuation and demolition of Khan al-Ahmar would have “grave humanitarian consequences.”

Mogherini and Bolton are an ocean apart, and not only in the geographical sense. A thousand years would be insufficient for the continent in whose name Mogherini speaks to pay its historic debt to the Jewish people. And still, the EU foreign policy chief stands at the head of the anti-Israel front, mixing up politics with law and justice in accordance with traditional European hypocrisy. On the one hand, she allows illegal African migrants to drown at sea or be slaughtered by Libyan militias. On the other, she preaches morality to Israel. And only to Israel.

The Europeans, who owe us so much, bandy around some very lofty talk, but as usual are fanning the fires of hatred. The U.S., which doesn’t owe us a thing, is supplying us a shield the likes of which we have never enjoyed in the name of justice and freedom. That’s the unbridgeable gap between Europe and the U.S.

Under Trump, America and Europe are growing farther apart, and not only when it comes to Israel. In any case, we can predict who will win. America doesn’t need Europe. Europe, on the other hand, really does need the U.S. Sooner or later, the old country will call in the new one, as it did twice last century. We can only hope it won’t be because of World War III.

Mogherini’s hostile speech did, however, contain one accurate sentence. “The two-state solution is today under serious threat – more than ever before.” Indeed, the U.S. announcement that it was closing the PLO mission in Washington is a death blow to the Palestinian movement.

To understand how serious a move it was, we need to go back in history. From its founding in 1964 until now, the Palestine Liberation Organization (under Yasser Arafat and now Mahmoud Abbas) has sought international support. The hypocritical Europeans aligned themselves with it in the 1970s in what later turned out to be “protection” for the PLO not carrying out terrorist attacks on the continent. The U.S. was the only country who refused at the time to give legitimacy to the biggest killer of Jews since the Holocaust. As a nation of values, it saw terrorism as unacceptable and refused any ties with the PLO. Aside from one small “information office” in New York and, of course, intelligence ties, the American response to the organization was boycott.

The tough U.S. stance was effective and was one of the factors in Arafat declaring at the end of 1988 that he was turning away from terrorism and would recognize Israel. Then-President Ronald Reagan, who was at the end of his second term, fell into the trap.

“The initiation of a dialogue between the United States and PLO representatives is an important step in the peace process. … The United States’ special commitment to Israel’s security and well-being remains unshakable. Indeed, a major reason for our entry into this dialogue is to help Israel achieve the recognition and security it deserves,” Reagan declared on Dec. 14, 1988. The rest of that dialogue never happened, but the U.S. recognition of the PLO was already a fait accompli. Five years later, when the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin signed the Oslo Accords, the Clinton administration upgraded the PLO office to the status of an official delegation. In 2010 former President Barack Obama boosted it a step higher on the diplomatic ladder.

With a tailwind of support from Obama and the Europeans crossing their fingers, the Palestinians persuaded the entire world to turn around them. They were surrounded by economic aid and moral, political, and media support from every direction. This development hit two peaks: one when the U.N. General Assembly recognized Palestine as a nonmember state in 2012, and the other when the U.N. Security Council passed Resolution 2334, which condemned Israeli settlements as illegal and deemed the Western Wall “occupied territory,” to massive applause. This was the core of the Obama legacy, which tried to taint Israel and set parameters for any future peace deal.

Then Trump arrived. By the end of 2017, the president and then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson were already threatening not to extend the PLO’s mandated presence in Washington. They did so partly because of the Palestinian boycott of the administration, but also because the PLO had violated an American law that explicitly forbids the PA to appeal to international entities such as the ICC. But the Palestinians failed to heed the warnings and didn’t realize that Trump meant what he said.

Now Bolton has appeared and finished the job. By closing the PLO mission, Trump, Bolton, and all the rest of the president’s men have rolled the Palestinian issue 30 years back in time to where it stood in the 1980s. Things the Palestinians and the world as a whole took for granted – like a future Palestinian state or a demi-embassy on American soil – slipped from their grasp. Trump dropped them to the bottom of the barrel and has called the legitimacy of what has become known as the “Palestinian struggle” into question.

In all this, Israel is like a small child surrounded by toys he never thought he’d actually get. The U.S. recognition of Jerusalem last December and the relocation of the U.S. Embassy to the capital this year, as well as the U.S. cuts to funding for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency, cuts to money that goes to pay Palestinian terrorists, and a total hands-off policy when it comes to criticizing Israel – not to mention shutting down the PLO mission and threatening the ICC – are just a partial list, and Trump hasn’t even been in office for two years.

But a lot of the recent American steps went over Israel’s head, without it knowing about them or even despite some mild objections by its diplomatic officials. At the end of the day, the Trump administration is grinding all the paradigms of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict into dust. This daring approach leaves those who until recently were considered local experts on the conflict and peace process speechless.

It’s not only the people in the peace industry who are left embarrassed in the face of the lavish gifts from Uncle Sam. The Israeli Right, including those factions represented in the cabinet, doesn’t really know what to do with all this abundance. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is justifiably proud of withstanding the Obama currents, is finding it hard to ride the Trump wave.

Instead of walking around grinning, the government should lay a list of historic and irreversible steps in front of Trump that would anchor our vital interests in Judea and Samaria. The first should be to link Jerusalem and Maaleh Adumim. Netanyahu, as well as his predecessors, recognized how crucial it is for Israel to build in E1 as a way of keeping a permanent hold on Jerusalem. Thus far, the government hasn’t presented the Trump administration with any plan of that kind, U.S. Ambassador David Friedman told Israel Hayom in an exclusive interview last weekend.

And it’s not only Jerusalem. The first Netanyahu government decided in 1988 to define the areas of Judea and Samaria that were of strategic importance to Israel. Now it’s time to lay them before the Americans. And we should also kill the idea of a Palestinian state. Trump declared when he first took office that he didn’t care if a peace deal entailed two states or one.

Because Trump’s “deal of the century” for peace between Israel and the Palestinians isn’t moving forward, and now that it’s been made clear that the president isn’t afraid to put the Palestinians in their place, it’s time for Israel to drop the two-state idea. Ever since Trump took office, Netanyahu has refrained from a clear statement on the issue, or from asking Trump to make a binding statement. But who knows when this opportunity will present itself again?

Trump has at least two years left in the White House. His successor could be as hostile to Israel as Trump is supportive. So Netanyahu needs to take advantage of the remaining time to diplomatically fortify Israel so that whoever comes after Trump won’t be able to harm us. But for that to happen, we cannot remain passive spectators. This time, Netanyahu must be proactive.

U.N. Heads Turn in Stunned Disbelief as PLO Lies Exposed by Palestinian Hero

UN Watch lets the world know that not all Arabs that call themselves Palestinians are pleased with the government operations of the Palestinian Authority (PA) put into place under the idiotic Oslo Accords. The thing is, the PA for all intents and purposes is the functionary of the Islamic terrorists known as the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

The displeased Palestinian in this case is Mosab Hassan Yousef. Here is some background I found on him:

Mosab Hassan Yousef (Arabic: مصعب حسن يوسف‎‎; born May 5, 1978)[3] is a Palestinian who worked undercover for Israel’s internal security service Shin Bet from 1997 to 2007.

Shin Bet considered him its most valuable source within the Hamas leadership: the information Yousef supplied prevented dozens of suicide attacks and assassinations of Israelis, exposed numerous Hamas cells,[1] and assisted Israel in hunting down many militants, including the incarceration of his own father, a Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef.[4] In March 2010, he published his autobiography titled Son of Hamas.[5]

In 1999, Yousef converted to Christianity, and in 2007 moved to the United States.[2] His request for political asylum in the United States was granted pending a routine background check on June 30, 2010.[6]

Fatah blatantly supports terror – findings presented in US Congress

In case you were unaware, Fatah is the terrorist organization of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) umbrella of Jew-hating Islamic terrorists. AND the PLO is the backbone of the Palestinian Authority (PA) – HERE & HERE. The PA is the so-called governing organization that four military/economic powers – Quartet (which includes the U.S. government) have demanded Israel commit national suicide to create a sovereign nation for the fake Palestinian people.

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) has presented a roughly 47-page report on how Fatah is supporting blatant terrorism against the Jewish people of Israel.

Fatah blatantly supports terror – findings presented in US Congress

Yesterday, Palestinian Media Watch presented its report Fatah Votes for Terror to the House of Representatives’ Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle EastIncluded as an appendix to that report is a new collection of examples which show that Fatah continues to blatantly incite and glorify terror in 2017.

Oh, our revolution, my weapon has emerged.

There is no force in the world that can remove the weapon from my hand.

How much this revolutionary people has sacrificed to live freely.”

The picture to the right, which Fatah posted on its official Facebook page and appears in Appendix 2 of PMW’s report, is just one of countless examples of the party’s violence promotion.

Fatah promotes terror during times characterized by daily terror attacks as well as during relatively peaceful times. In Fatah Votes for Terror Appendix 3, PMW documents that Fatah actively glorified terrorism on its Facebook page throughout the terror wave of 2015-2016.

The image below, which Fatah posted to its official Facebook page and appears in Appendix 3, glorified the ongoing violence and promised more to come:

The large number of examples documented in these appendices show that terror support is fundamental to Fatah’s ideology. This documentation is of paramount importance when examining whether the Palestinian Authority, with the Fatah Movement as its leading party, can be seen as a peace partner. Is Fatah leading the Palestinian people toward peace or toward continued terror?

THE END OF PALESTINE

By Daniel Greenfield

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam

hamas-terrorists

Palestine is many things. A Roman name and a Cold War lie. Mostly it’s a justification for killing Jews.

Palestine was an old Saudi-Soviet scam which invented a fake nationality for the Arab clans who had invaded and colonized Israel. This big lie transformed the leftist and Islamist terrorists run by them into the liberators of an imaginary nation. Suddenly the efforts of the Muslim bloc and the Soviet bloc to destroy the Jewish State became an undertaking of sympathetically murderous underdogs.

But the Palestine lie is past its sell by date.

What we think of as “Palestinian” terrorism was a low-level conflict pursued by the Arab Socialist states in between their invasions of Israel. After several lost wars, the terrorism was all that remained. Egypt, Syria and the USSR threw in the towel on actually destroying Israel with tanks and jets, but funding terrorism was cheap and low-risk. And the rewards were disproportionate to the cost.

For less than the price of a single jet fighter, Islamic terrorists could strike deep inside Israel while isolating the Jewish State internationally with demands for “negotiations” and “statehood.”

After the Cold War ended, Russia was low on cash and the PLO’s Muslim sugar daddies were tired of paying for Arafat’s wife’s shoe collection and his keffiyah dry cleaning bills.

The terror group was on its last legs. “Palestine” was a dying delusion that didn’t have much of a future.

That’s when Bill Clinton and the flailing left-wing Israeli Labor Party which, unlike its British counterpart, had failed to adapt to the new economic boom, decided to rescue Arafat and create “Palestine”.

The resulting terrorist disaster killed thousands, scarred two generations of Israelis, isolated the country and allowed Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and other major cities to come under fire for the first time since the major wars. No matter how often Israeli concessions were met with Islamic terrorism, nothing seemed able to shake loose the two-state solution monkey on Israel’s back. Destroying Israel, instantaneously or incrementally, had always been a small price to pay for maintaining the international order.

The same economic forces that were transforming the world after the Cold War had salvaged “Palestine”. Arafat had lost his sponsors in Moscow, but his new sugar daddy’s name was “Globalism”.

The Cold War had been the focus of international affairs. What replaced it was the conviction that a new world tied together by international commerce, the internet and international law would be born.

The demands of a clan in Hebron used to be able to hijack the attention of the world because the scope of the clash between Capitalism and Communism could globalize any local conflict. Globalization was just as insistent on taking local conflicts and making them the world’s business through its insistence that every place was connected. The terrorist blowing up an Israeli pizzeria affected stock prices in New York, the expansion prospects of a company in China and the risk of another terrorist attack in Paris. And interconnectedness, from airplane hijacking to plugging into the international’s left alliance of global protest movements, had become the  best weapon of Islamic terrorists.

But now globalization is dying. And its death may just take “Palestine” with it.

A new generation of leaders is rising who are actively hostile to globalization. Trump and Brexit were the most vocal rebukes to transnationalism. But polls suggest that they will not be the only ones. The US and the UK, once the vanguards of the international order, now have governments that are competitively seeking national advantages rather than relying on the ordered rules of the transnational safety net.

These governments will not just toss aside their commitment to a Palestinian state. Not when the Saudis, Qataris and countless other rich and powerful Muslim countries bring it up at every session.

But they will be less committed to it.

45% of Americans support the creation of a PLO state. 42% are opposed. That’s a near split. These historical numbers have to be viewed within the context of the larger changes sweeping the country.

The transnationalists actively believed that it was their job to solve the problems of other countries. Nationalists are concerned with how the problems of other countries directly impinge on them without resorting to the mystical interconnectedness of everything, from climate change to global justice, that is at the core of the transnational worldview.

More intense competition by Western nations may make it easier for Islamic agendas to gain influence through the old game of divide and conquer. Nations facing terrorism will still find that the economic influence of Islamic oil power will rally the Western trading partners of Islam against them.

But without the transnational order, such efforts will often amount to little more than lip service.

Nationalist governments will find Israel’s struggle against the Islamic invaders inconvenient because it threatens their business interests, but they will also be less willing to rubber stamp the terror agenda the way that transnationalist governments were willing to do. The elimination of the transnational safety net will also cause nationalist governments to look harder at consequences and results.

Endlessly pouring fortunes into a Palestinian state that will never exist just to keep Muslim oil tyrants happy is not unimaginable behavior even for a nationalist government. Japan has been doing just that.

But it will be a less popular approach for countries that don’t suffer from Japan’s energy insecurity.

Transnationalists are ideologically incapable of viewing a problem as unsolvable. Their faith in human progress through international law made it impossible for them to give up on the two-state solution.

Nationalist governments have a colder and harder view of human nature. They will not endlessly pour efforts and resources into a diplomatic black hole. They will eventually take “No” for an answer.

This won’t mean instantaneous smooth sailing for Israel. It will however mean that the exit is there.

For two decades, pledging allegiance to the two-state solution and its intent to create a deadly Islamic terror state inside Israel has been the price demanded of the Jewish State for its participation in the international community. That price will not immediately vanish. But it will become easier to negotiate.

The real change will be on the “Palestinian” side where a terrorist kleptoracy feeds off human misery in its mansions downwind of Ramallah. That terror state, conceived insincerely by the enemies of the West during the Cold War and sincerely brought into being by Western transnationalists after the Cold War ended, is a creature of that transnational order.

The “Palestinian Authority”, a shell company of the PLO which is a shell company of the Fatah terrorists, has no economy worth speaking of. It has foreign aid. Its diplomatic achievements are achieved for it by the transnational network of foreign diplomats, the UN, the media and assorted international NGOs. During the last round of “negotiations”, Secretary of State John Kerry even attempted to do the negotiating on behalf of the Palestinian Authority in the talks with Israel.

Take away the transnational order and the Palestinian Authority will need a new sugar daddy. The Saudis are better at promising money than actually delivering it. Russia may decide to take on the job. But it isn’t about to put in the money and resources that the PA has grown used to receiving from us.

Without significant American support, the Palestinian Authority will perish. And the farce will end.

It won’t happen overnight. But Israel now has the ability to make it happen if it is willing to take the risk of transforming a corrosive status quo into a conflict that will be more explosive in the short term, but more manageable in the long term.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, in stark contrast to rivals on the left like Peres and on the right like Sharon, is not a gambler. The peace process was a big gamble. As was the withdrawal from Lebanon and the expulsion from Gaza. These gambles failed and left behind scars and enduring crises.

Unlike the prime ministers before and after him, Netanyahu has made no big moves. Instead he serves as a sensible steward of a rising economy and a growing nation. He has stayed in office for so long because Israelis know that he won’t do anything crazy. That sensible stewardship, which infuriated Obama who accused him of refusing to take risks, has made him one of the longest serving leaders in Israeli history.

Netanyahu is also a former commando who participated in the rescue of a hijacked airplane. He doesn’t believe in taking foolish risks until he has his shot all lined up. But the time is coming when not taking a risk will be a bigger risk than taking a risk. Eventually he will have to roll the dice.

The new nationalist wave may not hold. The transnational order may return. Or the new wave may prove darker and more unpredictable. It’s even possible that something else may take its place.

The status quo, a weak Islamist-Socialist terror state in Ramallah supported by the United States, a rising Muslim Brotherhood terror state in Gaza backed by Qatar and Turkey, and an Israel using technological brilliance to manage the threat from both, is already unstable. It may collapse in a matter of years.

The PLO has inflicted a great deal of diplomatic damage on Israel and Hamas has terrorized its major cities. Together they form an existential threat that Israel has allowed to grow under the guise of managing it. The next few years may leave Israel with a deadlier and less predictable struggle.

“Palestine” is dying. Israel didn’t kill it. The fall of the transnational order did. The question is what will take its place. As the nationalist wave sweeps the West, Israel has the opportunity to reclaim its nation.

“Free pass for terrorists” as US court cancels $654 million verdict against PLO

By Robert Spencer

September 1, 2016 12:29 pm

Judicial Watch

“The United States government had said last year that the case threatened to financially destabilize the Palestinian government and harm the region.” Oh my, we can’t have a “destabilized” “Palestinian” government. It might start lobbing rockets at Israeli civilians and calling for genocide on its TV channel!

“‘Free Pass for Terrorists’ as US Court Cancels $654 Million Verdict Against PLO,” Associated Press, September 1, 2016:

The decision to cancel the verdict against the PLO provides “a free pass for terrorists” to kill Americans overseas, said an attorney for families of victims.

A U.S. appeals court on Wednesday tossed out a $654 million jury verdict against the Palestine Liberation Organization for terrorist attacks in the early 2000s in Israel that killed or wounded Americans, saying the U.S. courts lack jurisdiction because the attacks were random and not aimed at the United States.

The United States government had said last year that the case threatened to financially destabilize the Palestinian government and harm the region.

Wednesday’s written decision by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan said the attacks in 2002 and 2004 that killed 33 people and wounded hundreds more were “unquestionably horrific.” But the three-judge panel said they were fortuitous and “not expressly aimed at the United States.”

The decision, written by U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl, who was sitting on the court temporarily, said offices maintained by the PLO and Palestinian Authority in Washington were used to promote the Palestinian cause in speeches and media appearances and to retain a lobbying firm. It said those purposes were insufficient to give U.S. courts jurisdiction over the groups for random attacks abroad.

“It’s a very surprising ruling,” said Robert Tolchin, an attorney for families of Americans killed or injured in the attacks.

He said the decision provides “a free pass for terrorists” to kill Americans overseas. Lawyers, he added, were considering appeals options.

Gassan A. Baloul, an attorney for the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization, said: “We are very gratified that the court fully accepted our clients’ consistent position that the PA and the PLO are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States courts in these matters.”

The ruling pertained to a February 2015 jury award of $218 million to Americans in a case that relied on the Anti-Terrorism Act, which allows victims of U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organizations to seek compensation for pain and suffering, loss of earnings and other hardship. The award was automatically tripled under the law….

Why Jihad Watch?

Why Jihad Watch? Because non-Muslims in the West, as well as in India, China, Russia, and the world over, are facing a concerted effort by Islamic jihadists, the motives and goals of whom are largely ignored by the Western media, to destroy their societies and impose Islamic law upon them — and to commit violence to that end even while their overall goal remains out of reach. That effort goes under the general rubric of jihad.

Jihad (Arabic for “struggle”) is a central duty of every Muslim. Muslim theologians have spoken of many things as jihads: the struggle within the soul, defending the faith from critics, supporting its growth and defense financially, even migrating to non-Muslim lands for the purpose of spreading Islam. But violent jihad is a constant of Islamic history and a central element of Islamic theology. Many passages of the Qur’an and sayings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad are used by jihad warriors today to justify their actions and gain new recruits. No major Muslim group has ever repudiated the doctrines of armed jihad. The theology of jihad, which denies unbelievers equality of human rights and dignity, is available today for anyone with the will and means to bring it to life.

In Islamic history and doctrine violent jihad is founded on numerous verses of the Qur’an — most notably, one known in Islamic theology as the “Verse of the Sword”: “Then, when READ THE REST

Funding Hamastan

Bloody Hamas Handout Demand toon

It is horrendously amazing how many Western NGOs, Western governments (via official government agencies) and the international bureaucratic apparatuses of the United Nations support the Islamic terrorist organizations of Hamas and the Palestine Authority (really controlled by the PLO [HERE, HERE and HERE). Hamas and the PA are nothing more Jew-Hatred organizations committed to the destruction of the Jewish Homeland and Jews in general. They are murderous cowards hoodwinking Multiculturalist power-brokers to unwittingly (or maybe even wittingly) to support the evil of murderous Jihad.

Rachel Ehrenfeld exposes this money trail of Western Jihad supporters which sadly includes American taxpayers due to the sympathies of Obama’s Left Wing Administration.

Funding Hamastan

By Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld

May 16th, 2016 9:18PM

American Center for Democracy

Since 1987, the Gaza-based terror group has kept itself in the international spotlight through acts of violence against the Jewish State of Israel. It was designated as terrorist by the Unites States in 1997. In 2006, under the guise of the “Change and Reform” party, it won the elections for the Palestinian Authority and in 2007, after violent confrontations with Fatah, took over the Gaza Strip. Since then, it has escalated its attacks against Israel.

Who helps finance Hamas ongoing terrorism against the ‘Zionist entity?’

Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood branch in Gaza, was established in December 1987, days into the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s (PLO) first Intifada against Israel. This Sunni terrorist organization controls the Gaza Strip and imposes sharia on its constituents. Unlike the Islamic State (ISIS), which flaunts its radicalism – through their brutal abuse of women and children and indiscriminate slaughter of civilians, mostly other Muslims in Iraq and Syria, mega-attacks in Europe, and a sophisticated social media apparatus, – Hamas manages to portray itself as a victim.

Why? Because unlike impatient ISIS, whose agenda is to eliminate all infidels to create now the global Islamic Caliphate, Hamas, which prioritizes the destruction of the Jewish State of Israel, has been the recipient of direct and indirect support of some Muslims states, as well as supposedly Western-oriented organizations such as the European Union the United Nations, and even the United States. These are joined by international Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated and anti-Israeli groups and the international media. They use the guise of humanitarian aid, to assist the Hamas terrorist regime in Gaza politically and financially.

The arrival of the Internet in the late 1990s introduced a new, easily-accessible vehicle for Hamas to portray the people it exploits in Gaza as victims of Israeli retaliations rather than its own twisted ideology. The terrorist organization learned that posting photos of wounded children and crying mothers has a considerable effect in the ‘hearts’ and minds’ battle in gaining the support of the international community. Thus, far from safeguarding its own citizen’s rights Hamas’ strategy has become the maximum extraction of civilian casualties from among its constituents.

Hamas Islamist indoctrination campaigns are so successful that not only the suppressed Muslims in Gaza are ready to carry out attacks against Israel, but even the brutalized Christians that remain in the Gaza Strip, are complaining not against Hamas for banning Christmas and forcing submission to sharia, but against “Israeli occupation.”

Last month marked the celebration of the Annual Palestine Festival for Childhood and Education in Gaza throughout the Hamas-run territory’s school system, most of which is operated and funded by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).  The events included young veiled girls and boys in military uniforms, simulating stabbing attacks on Israelis, killing IDF soldiers and ‘heroically’ releasing Palestinian terrorists from Israeli jails.

These events were sponsored by the Ramallah-based Bank of Palestine, UK-based Interpal Fund, and the Hamas-controlled University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza, whose funders include the World Bank and European Commission.  While many in the free world would find this link between international aid and a celebration of hatred alarming, it is the norm rather than the exception in the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave, where democratic principals [sic] are quashed and wanton hatred of Israel propagated.

The Hamas government receives funding from an array of sources, though lately fewer are doing so publically. Directly, it receives contributions from the international Muslim community, international NGOs, such as the BDS groups, and online. A good example of indirect funding is the $50 million announced by the U.S. “to provide basic humanitarian assistance and create jobs. The money will be distributed by the U.S Agency for International Development in partnership with Catholic Relief Services.” At the same time, Sweden also announced additional $8 million to UNRWA “for all Palestinian refugees.”

Hamas also receives aid through its own political adversary, the Palestinian Authority (PA), itself the recipient of international aid second only to Syria. (Palestinians are the recipients of highest per capita assistance in the world”). Funding comes from numerous international bodies, including The European Commission (EC)UNRWA; the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund UNICEF; the United States Aid Agency (USAID), and the World Bank. These and others fund the PA to re-allocate funds to Hamas-ruled Gaza, as humanitarian aid, to create jobs, housing projects, and also in support of “good governance,” programs that failed under the PA, and funded Hamas since it took over in 2007. While there are efforts to stop aid from reaching Hamas, according to last month’s Congressional Research Service (CRS) report: “Since 2007, USAID could not “reasonably ensure” that its money would not wind up in terrorist hands.” Moreover, “UNRWA makes publicly available the names of all recipients of UNRWA contracts of annual aggregate value of $100,000 or more.” There is little doubt that Hamas is exploiting this big financial loophole to support the construction of its expanding tunnel-infrastructure under the border with Israel, for training and buying weapons, and to increase the hate-propaganda it designed to guarantee the supply of cannon-fodders for war against Israel. [***As blog editor I adjusted an editing glitch on the part of ACDemocracy for better continuity. Unless ACDemocracy fixes that glitch their webpage will appear to have an unfinished sentence circa this paragraph.]

Estimates of how much money flows into Hamastan are varied. However, as events such as the Annual Palestine Festival for Childhood and Education, and the continuing tunnel- construction rather than rebuilding Gaza’s shattered infrastructure shows, much of the funding that goes to Gaza directly and through the PA, aid Hamas’s terrorist agenda against Israel, rather than improving the lives of Gazans.

PMW open letter to the Danish Foreign Minister

BHO-Kerry prepare to stab Israel in back toon

Palestine Media Watch takes on Denmark’s Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen support for the Fatah terrorist organization the backbone for both the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority (PA) – See Also HERE. Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia on Jensen:

Kristian Jensen (born May 21, 1971) is a Danish politician who has been Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark and Deputy Prime Minister since 2015. He is a spokesperson for the Liberal party Venstre. He was the Minister for Taxation from 2004 to 2010 and has been a member of parliament (Folketinget) since March 11, 1998.[1]During his time as Tax Minister, Kristian Jensen was a keen proponent of a “tax freeze.”

Jensen was the Venstre’s spokesman on information technology and sports from 1998 to 2001 and became its spokesman on finance policy, as well as Vice-Chairman of the Financial Affairs Committee, in 2001.[1]

At the liberal party’s congress on 17 May 2009, Kristian Jensen was elected as vice president of the liberal party, without any other candidates running for the post.

If Venstre lost the 2015 election, then Kristian Jensen was considered very likely to be the next leader of the political party. Unlike the current leader of Venstre, who is rated as very untrustworthy in polls,[2] there are no controversies associated with Kristian Jensen. In the event, Venstre was able to form a minority government, with Jensen becoming Minister of Foreign Affairs on 28 June 2015. (last modified on 13 February 2016, at 09:25.)

Kristian Jensen

Denmark’s Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen believes the Palestinian Authority is a Moderate representative of the Palestinians residing in Israel’s hereditary area of Judea and Samaria (Palestinian supporters prefer West Bank or Occupied Territories) rather than permeated with Islamic Jew-hating terrorists. Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) sets him straight.

PMW open letter to the Danish Foreign Minister:

Fatah promotes terror

PMW SPECIAL REPORT

Bulletin

March 29, 2016

By Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Open letter to the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs:

Fatah promotes terror

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) calls on Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs to reassess Denmark’s relationship to Fatah due to Fatah’s ongoing terror support

  • Responding to Palestinian Media Watch documentation, Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Kristian Jensen admitted he “opposes” a Fatah official’s terror glorification. However, the minister continues to view Fatah as “moderate” because the official, he believes, did not speak “on behalf of Fatah, the PLO, the Palestinian Authority or the Palestinian government.” [Danish Ministry of Forein (sic) Affairs, Jan. 22, 2016]

  • This PMW report corrects the Danish minister’s mistake. It documents that numerous senior Fatah leaders, Abbas’ advisors, Mahmoud Abbas himself, the Fatah Central Committee headed by Mahmoud Abbas, and official Fatah media are all actively supporting and glorifying the current terror. Neither Fatah, nor any of its leaders, have condemned even one murder of an Israeli during the last 5 months of terror. To the contrary, they have glorified the terror and the terrorists.

  • PMW welcomes the statement by the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs indicating that were Fatah, its leaders and the PA glorifying terror, Denmark would “reassess” its categorization of Fatah as “moderate.”

The following is an excerpt from the report that Palestinian Media Watch

sent to the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs on March 20, 2016

PART 1

  1. Letter from Palestinian Media Watch

to Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark Kristian Jensen

Dear Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark Kristian Jensen,
This letter and report is in response to your recent answer to Question S507 asked by MP Søren Espersen in Danish Parliament regarding statements published by PMW made by Abbas Zaki, a member of the Palestinian Fatah Central Committee, in which he glorified terror against Israelis, stating that “Allah loves our young people with rocks and knives.” You described Zaki’s words as “a sad example of inflammatory rhetoric” that you “oppose,” adding, however, that you would not reassess whether Fatah remains a “moderate” partner for Denmark because Zaki is:

“A Fatah member residing in Lebanon, who is not considered to have spoken on behalf of Fatah, the PLO, the Palestinian Authority or the Palestinian government… The statement does not give the government any reason to reconsider the assessment of Fatah and the movement’s leader, President Abbas.” [Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jan. 22, 2016, the question and answer appear at the end of the report]

However, this report shows that your refusal to “reconsider the assessment” of Fatah as “moderate” is based on wrong information. Not only does Zaki reside in the PA, but more importantly, Fatah has not been a moderating voice during this current terror campaign. On the contrary, Fatah and its senior leadership are actively promoting terror against Israelis, including the unequivocal glorification of those who have killed and injured Israelis in terror attacks.

Accordingly, PMW welcomes your statement implying that Denmark would “reassess” and take action if senior Fatah officials, the PLO, or the PA were shown to engage in hate speech, encourage terror attacks, and glorify terrorists. This document shows that a reassessement by the Danish government is warranted.

  1. Documentation of Fatah actively promoting terror – in brief

The following are brief examples of Fatah actively promoting terror (additional and detailed documentation appears later in the report):

Jibril Rajoub, Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee promotes terror

Jibril Rajoub is Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee. He is also Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association, and Chairman of the Palestinian Olympic Committee. Several times, Rajoub has endorsed and praised the terror attacks against Israelis and lauded the terrorists carrying them out:

Dep. Sec Fatah-terrorism are acts of Bravery

Dep. Sec Fatah-terrorism are acts of Bravery

Jibril Rajoub: “These are individual acts of bravery, and I am proud of them. I congratulate everyone who carried them out. I say to you, we are proud of you… Whoever confronts, fights, dies as a Martyr, is arrested or injured – his identity is known. What I mean is that the fighter, the prisoner, or the Martyr, they are assets to the entire Palestinian people… The international community does not agree to a bus exploding in Tel Aviv. But the international community does not ask what happens to a settler or soldier in the occupied territories at the wrong time and in the wrong place. No one asks about him! Therefore, we want to fight in such a way that the world and the international community will remain by our side.” [Official PA TV, Oct. 17, 2015]

Dep. Sec Fatah-Terrorists are heroes

Dep. Sec Fatah-Terrorists are heroes

Jibril Rajoub: “Yesterday in Hebron, they escorted 17 Martyrs to burial. This is of course a source of pride for all of us. I say that whoever carried out individual acts of heroism, we in the Fatah movement bless and encourage them. We consider them heroes and a crown on the head of every Palestinian. At this point, when there is weakening and frustration, there is a group of people, beginning with our brother Muhannad Halabi (i.e., terrorist who murdered 2) and ending with the last Martyr… There is a competition between individuals. This is one of the issues we need to address – are we for or against it? I say that we in the [Fatah] Central Committee have discussed this matter, and we are in favor.” [Official PA TV, Jan. 2, 2016]

Fatah Central Committee promotes and endorses terror

Very significantly, in the above statement about attacks carried out by individuals, Rajoub expressed the Fatah Central Committee’s support for the terror when he stated that “we in the [Fatah] Central Committee have discussed this matter, and we are in favor.”

It must be stressed that the Fatah Central Committee is Fatah’s governing body and headed by Mahmoud Abbas.
Official Fatah TV promotes murder

Official Fatah TV broadcast a music video calling for murder of Israelis: “Besiege them in all their neighborhoods, Drown them in a sea of blood, Kill them as you wish”

Pal Media- Drown Jews in Sea of Blood

Pal Media- Drown Jews in Sea of Blood

Fatah’s official Facebook page and Twitter account promote terror

Fatah’s official Facebook page and Twitter account have been a central part of this terror campaign, glorifying the terror almost daily. From the outset, Fatah has been glorifying murder using numerous posts, including the following examples which visually express Fatah’s explicit promotion of stabbing murders:

Fatah has also glorified several murderers on its Facebook page, among them Muhannad Halabi who stabbed 2 to death in the Old City of Jerusalem, Nashat Melhem who shot and killed 3 in Tel Aviv, and Bashar Masalha who killed 1 in Tel Aviv-Jaffa:

Fatah brought soil from the Al-Aqsa Mosque to the grave of terrorist Muhannad Halabi, who murdered two in the Old City of Jerusalem “so that the dead body of Martyr Muhannad Halabi can hug the soil for which he died a Martyr.” [Fatah Twitter account, Oct. 8, 2015]

Fatah glorified Tel Aviv murderer of 3: “Congratulations and may Allah receive you in Heaven”

Abbas’ Fatah movement posted an uncensored version of the picture of dead terrorist Nashat Melhem lying in a pool of blood. It also praised the killer of 3 as a “Martyr” and congratulated him on its official Facebook page. Nashat Melhem was a 29-year-old Israeli Arab terrorist who carried out a shooting attack, killing 3 Israelis and wounding 8 others in Tel Aviv on Jan. 1, 2016:

Fatah honored murderer who killed 1 and injured 11 in an attack in Tel Aviv-Jaffa

Fatah’s official Facebook page posted a drawing of a knife held over the PA map of “Palestine” that includes all of Israel and the PA areas, with the name of the murderer written on it.

Official Fatah anniversary celebrations in Bethlehem promote terror

Another example of Fatah showing itself as a terror promoting organization was seen in January this year, when Fatah held a march in Bethlehem to mark its 51st anniversary. To celebrate, Fatah had children parade in the streets of Bethlehem wearing suicide belts and carrying knives, guns and RPGs, alongside Fatah flags. Fatah Central Committee members promote and glorify terror

As was shown above, in the words of Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub, the Fatah Central Committee is “in favor” of “attacks by individuals” against Israelis. The following are statements by three members of the Central Committee corroborating this Fatah support for terror. (More statements by these and additional members of the Central Committee appear later in the report.)

Sultan Abu Al-Einein, Fatah Central Committee member and advisor to Mahmoud Abbas, promotes terror

One Fatah Central Committee member who also serves as an advisor to Mahmoud Abbas, Sultan Abu Al-Einein, likewise promotes terror. Abu Al-Einein blessed the terrorists from the current terror campaign, saying: “We bow before every drop of blood that has dripped from our children and women… and every… Martyr’s mother, who… when they notified her of his death as a Martyr, she let cries of joy loose to the Heavens.” [Falestinona, website of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, Jan. 16, 2016] Abu Al-Einein also glorified a terrorist who killed 1 and wounded 11 as “Martyr”: “We loved you, while you sowed life for all Palestinians” [Sultan Abu Al-Einein’s Facebook page, Oct. 19, 2015] He has openly declared his total support for the terror campaign, saying that he “supports, with all his might, the uprising and intifada… aimed at defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque” from “defilement” and “Judaization.” [Falestinona, Oct. 14, 2015]

Abbas Zaki, Fatah Central Committee member and advisor to Mahmoud Abbas, promotes terror

Abbas Zaki is a member of the Fatah Central Committee. He is close to Mahmoud Abbas and has travelled internationally as Abbas’ personal emissary. Zaki stated that the murderers of four Israelis are “giants and leaders” and went on to say that “whoever succeeded in killing, this is a big thing.” He added that such a terrorist should have “an institution named after him, and a statue [made] of him.”

Succeed in killing is big thing

Whoever succeeded in killing [Jews], this is a big thing

[Official PA TV, Oct. 31, 2015]

Mahmoud Al-Aloul – member of Fatah Central Committee and Commissioner for Mobilization and Organization encourages terror

Fatah official Al-Aloul encouraged Palestinian youth to “make the country a hell for the enemies”

Shortly after the murders of 4 Israeli civilians in two separate attacks on Oct. 1 and 3, 2015, Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul addressed Palestinian youth on his Facebook page, encouraging them to “rise up against the enemies”:

Mahmoud Al-Aloul:  “#Resist_boycott_rise up (literally “make intifada”)

More resistance and escalation against the occupation everywhere. Let us make the country a hell for the enemies… all the members of the Shabiba (i.e., Fatah youth and student movement) are potential Martyrs for the beloved Palestine.”

[Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul’s Facebook page, Oct. 5, 2015]

Al-Aloul called to “continue attacks” against Israelis

In another post, Al-Aloul stated that “whoever loves the Shahada (Martyrdom death) is not afraid of the settler herds.” He ended with the following words of encouragement: “and #let’s_continue_the_attacks.” [Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul’s Facebook page, Oct. 5, 2015]

Fatah glorifies and honors the terrorists of the current terror campaign

Fatah leader sponsors sporting event after murderer of two

As an unequivocal expression of support for murder, Fatah continues to honor and glorify the killers of the current terror campaign. For example, Jibril Rajoub, Central Committee member mentioned above, who is also Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the PA Olympic Committee, sponsored a table tennis tournament, named after murderer Muhannad Halabi, who murdered two people and stabbed a woman and her baby in October 2015. Rajoub mentioned Halabi by name when he described the “heroes” who constitute “a crown on the head of every Palestinian.” [Official PA TV, Jan. 2, 2016]

table tennis tournament, named after murderer Muhannad Halabi

table tennis tournament, named after murderer Muhannad Halabi

Mahmoud Abbas denies murdering Israelis is wrong. Terror campaign is a “popular peaceful uprising”

Finally, Abbas himself has not been a moderating influence. Abbas has not condemned even one terror attack during this entire violent period, and worse still, he has justified these attacks by claiming they were part of a “popular peaceful uprising”: “We want peaceful popular uprising, and that’s what this is. That’s what this is.” [Official PA TV, Nov. 16, 2015] Abbas made this statement after Palestinians had carried out 65 stabbing attacks, 8 shooting attacks, and 8 car ramming attacks, in which a total of 14 Israelis were murdered and 167 were wounded.

Not even when US Vice President Joe Biden urged Abbas to condemn a terror attack in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, where a Palestinian stabbed a US citizen to death and injured 11 Israelis, did Abbas comply. He “offered condolences,” but never condemned the attack. [The Jerusalem Post, March 10, 2016]

Abbas’ frequent referral to all the terror attacks as part of the Palestinian “peaceful” or “nonviolent” “uprising” may have been what has led the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs and other international spectators to wrongly conclude that Abbas is against the current wave of terror attacks against Israelis.

PLO leader: Murdering Israeli civilians is “national duty”

A statement which expresses the Fatah and PLO leaders’ attitude towards the current terror campaign was made by PLO Executive Committee member Mahmoud Ismail, who defined the killing of Israelis as a “national duty.” In a conversation about the murder of a young Israeli couple, which took place while their 4 children watched from the back seat of the car, Ismail said the following: “There is no need to return to the argument and dispute about who carried out the operation (i.e., the killing)… There is no need to announce it and boast of having done it. One fulfills his national duty voluntarily, as best as one can.” [Official PA TV, Oct. 6, 2015]

One fulfills his national duty voluntarily - Killing Jews

One fulfills his national duty voluntarily, as best as one can

This attitude is representative of the PA’s and Fatah’s approach throughout this terror campaign. The Fatah leadership has not condemned the terror, but has presented it as patriotic and a legitimate part of the Palestinian “struggle” and “resistance.” Killing soldiers or civilians anywhere is presented as a “national duty.”

Fatah proud of its leading role in the current terror campaign

Finally, Fatah is proud of its leading role in the current terror campaign. Several Fatah leaders have specifically mentioned Fatah’s central role in the terror campaign.

Fayez Abu Aita, Fatah Spokesman, stated that Mahmoud Abbas is leading the “blessed popular uprising”:

Fatah Spokesman Fayez Abu Aita… emphasized in a press statement published by the [Fatah] Information and Culture Commission today [Jan. 7, 2016]… that it is necessary to take into account the difficult and sensitive situation our people is experiencing, as it fights the battle for independence and an [independent] state, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, through the blessed popular uprising and the unlimited political confrontation with the occupation in the UN corridors and the International Criminal Court.'” [WAFA (the official Palestinian news agency), Jan. 7, 2016]

Amal Hamad, Fatah Central Committee member:

“I say that if one has a responsible national feeling, on is supposed to thank Fatah for its resolve, and for its ability to say ‘No!’ to the Americans, ‘No!’ to the occupation, ‘No!’ to all regional, Arab and international pressures… We are still leading the popular uprising, with true resistance, 80 percent of the Martyrs (Shahids) are Fatah people. If so, the movement is deeply rooted…” [Official PA TV, March 1, 2016]

Jamal Muhaisen, Fatah Central Committee member, Commissioner for Diaspora Branches and PLO Central Council member:

“They [Hamas] talk about resistance. What is happening today? Today there is a struggle on two fronts. There is the struggle in the field, by the popular resistance, and I say that 90 percent of the Martyrs (Shahids) are from Fatah. I say to Abu Marzouq (a senior member of Hamas -Ed.) that 90 percent of the Martyrs are from Fatah, and I would like Hamas to be present in the popular uprising in the field, matching its size. Hamas’ presence does not match its size.” [Official PA TV, Feb. 14, 2016]

Abbas Zaki, Fatah Central Committee member and Commissioner of Arab and China Relations:

The Fatah movement draws its strength from its people, and noted that its fingerprints are clearly evident in the popular Palestinian uprising… Fatah is carrying the flag of victory, through the national measures and that the fact that it is currently leading the mass uprising is the best proof of this.” [Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 30, 2015]

  1. Summary and conclusions

In summary, it is imperative that this hate speech, violence promotion and terror glorification be condemned – by you, the Danish government, and other members of the international community who wish to see peace in the Middle East. Denmark and other supporters of the PA have a unique position as financial donors to the PA to demand that the PA, including Fatah as the ruling party in government, honors the commitments it has made in the past: to stop incitement and to renounce terror. The PA’s donors have tremendous potential influence to demand a change in the messages and policies that PA and Fatah leaders transmit to Palestinians.

When Rajoub, the Deputy-Secretary of Fatah’s Central Committee, which is headed by Mahmoud Abbas, refers to the the [sic] murder of Israelis as “individual acts of heroism” and publicly says on official Palestinian Authority TV that the Fatah Central Committee supports them, it must not be ignored by the international community.

In your answer to MP Søren Espersen, you indicated that if “Fatah, the PLO, the PA, or the Palestinian government” were actively supporting the terror campaign, the Danish government would reassess its attitude toward them.

The documentation in this letter and report shows that the Danish government must “reconsider its assessment” of Fatah, the PA, and Mahmoud Abbas, and take the necessary steps when dealing with a political governmental body that openly supports terror as Fatah does.

About PMW

Founded in 1996, Palestinian Media Watch is an Israeli research institute that studies Palestinian society from a broad range of perspectives by monitoring and analyzing the Palestinian Authority through its media and schoolbooks. PMW’s major focus is on the messages that the Palestinian leaders, from the Palestinian Authority, Fatah and Hamas, send to the population through the broad range of institutions and infrastructures they control.

PMW’s many reports and studies on Palestinian summer camps, poetry, schoolbooks, crossword puzzles, religious ideology, women and mothers, children’s music videos and the PA’s indoctrination of adults and children to seek Shahada (Martyrdom), have had significant impact on the way the world sees the Palestinians. PMW has presented its findings before members of US Congress and to members of Parliament in numerous countries, including the READ THE REST
