China’s Communist Party: A brief history

You know the one-time Free-World West is either on the verge of collapse or internal civil strife (probably war) when the governments that are supposed to protect Freedom for their citizens promotes a Winter Olympics in a nation dominated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) – the perpetrators of heinous Human Rights violations and also the originators of a global pandemic (PROBABLY Plandemic) used internationally by Globalist-Marxists to control people internationally.

I WON’T BE WATCHING ANYTHING CONNECTED TO CCP TYRANNY!

With the OBVIOUS backward motion of Western Freedom, I was pleased to run into The Christian Post’s exposé of the nefarious Chinese Communist Party by cross posting Part Three in a series.

Part 3 of The Christian Post’s series on China’s human rights abuses under the spotlight of the Olympic Games details a brief history of the Chinese Communist Party, its failed programs and crackdown on religious communities. Read part 1 here and part 2 here.

The People’s Republic of China continues to receive global criticism as the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing kicked off Friday despite concerns about the communist regime’s human rights record.

The U.S. and other governments have announced diplomatic boycotts, vowing not to send any diplomatic or official representation to the 2022 Winter Olympics in protest of the regime’s “genocide and crimes against humanity.”

Additionally, religious freedom advocacy groups like Open Doors USA have urged people to boycott watching the Olympics due to the communist regime’s ongoing persecution of Christians and other religious groups, such as Uyghur Muslims, Tibetan Buddhists and Falun Gong practitioners.

But concerns about China hosting the Olympics are not new, as there were similar calls for boycotts over Beijing hosting the Olympics in 2008. Human Rights Watch contended at the time that calls to improve human rights conditions in advance of the 2008 Games went unmet despite having seven years to deliver. In fact, the group warned that the country had rolled back “some of the most basic rights enshrined in China’s constitution and international law.”

Since it came to power in 1949, the Chinese Communist Party has been a source of controversy regarding its policies, both foreign and domestic. Despite experiencing much backlash at home and abroad, the party maintains a firm grip on the nation.

The following pages highlight how the CCP came to power after World War II, some of its infamous atrocities and how it remains securely in power.

In the 1930s, mainland China found itself divided between three factions: the Japanese occupation military, the Nationalist Party and the Chinese Communist Party.

After Japan withdrew at the end of World War II following a brutal occupation, the Nationalists and the Communists fought a Civil War to determine control of the nation.

On Oct. 1, 1949, following a military campaign that included the taking of Peking (renamed Beijing), Communist leader Mao Zedong declared the formation of the People’s Republic of China.

“The cost of the war was enormous. Official Communist figures counted some 1.5 million dead and wounded among the People’s Liberation Army. Some 600,000 Nationalists troops were killed in combat, while roughly three times that many defected to the Communists,” noted Encyclopædia Britannica.

“Nearly 7 million Nationalist troops were captured during four years of combat. Approximately 5 million civilians died as a result of combat, famine and disease.”

Remnants of the Nationalist forces fled to the island of Taiwan. Technically, the Civil War is still ongoing, as the two factions never signed an official treaty and mainland China refuses to acknowledge Taiwanese independence.

Under the rule of Mao Zedong, Communist China experienced major programs aimed at fundamentally changing the nation into a modern Communist society.

Three infamous examples of the Communist leadership enacting widespread social change are the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution and the one-child policy.

The Great Leap Forward officially began in 1958, with the name being used to describe the Second Five-Year Plan under the CCP; the first having produced considerable economic growth.

The plan was to advance industrial growth, especially the production of steel, among the communal rural areas of China while continuing to grow food production.

However, the Great Leap Forward became what historian Clayton D. Brown described as the worst famine in human history and one that was “largely preventable.”

“The ironically titled Great Leap Forward was supposed to be the spectacular culmination of Mao Zedong’s program for transforming China into a Communist paradise,” wrote Brown for the Association for Asian Studies.

“According to one study, China experienced some 1,828 major famines in its long history, but what distinguishes the Great Leap Forward from its predecessors are its cause, massive scope, and ongoing concealment.”

In 1966, a few years after the Great Leap Forward concluded, Mao launched the Cultural Revolution, an effort to mobilize the nation’s youth to revive revolutionary sentiment.

Young people formed paramilitary groups known as Red Guards and violently targeted political leaders and others not seen as sufficiently supporting Communist principles.

“With different factions of the Red Guard movement battling for dominance, many Chinese cities reached the brink of anarchy by September 1967, when Mao had [defense minister] Lin [Biao] send army troops in to restore order,” explained History.com.

“The army soon forced many urban members of the Red Guards into rural areas, where the movement declined. Amid the chaos, the Chinese economy plummeted, with industrial production for 1968 dropping 12 percent below that of 1966.”

Sophia C. Hart, visiting assistant professor of government at the College of William and Mary, who specializes in Asian comparative politics, told The Christian Post that approximately 30 million people died in the Great Leap Forward, while around 400,000 died during the Cultural Revolution. [Emphasis Blog Editor’s]

In 1979, three years after Mao’s death, the CCP announced that it was instituting a one-child policy to curb population growth.

A study published in 1999 by the peer-reviewed BMJ medical journal concluded that while the policy “eased at least some of the pressures on communities, state and the environment,” it also came with many downsides, especially regarding sex discrimination.

“Faced with hard choices about overall numbers, the Chinese girl child has once again become expendable. Too many girls, if not aborted, face orphanages or second-class lives concealed from the world and with reduced chances of schooling and health care,” explained the researchers.

“China has one of the world’s highest rates of suicide of women in the reproductive years. Increased pressure to produce the desired child, and a perceived reduction in the value of females, can only have exacerbated the problems of rural women.”

On New Year’s Day 2016, the policy was eased to allow families to have two children, and, in response to a sharper than expected population decline, the CCP announced plans last year to curb abortions.

As the Communist government cracked down on civil liberties, a significant area of repression has been the treatment of Christians and other religious communities.

Jonathan Dingler of ChinaAid, a Christian human rights watchdog, told CP that freedom of religion “has always been a major concern in China.”

“While there were times when certain areas were more tolerant of Christianity, like Shenzhen near Hong Kong, persecution for all religious groups has dramatically increased,” he said.

“A lot of how faith groups are being persecuted directly stems from how the Chinese Communist Party dealt with Falun Gong practitioners from 1999 and beyond.”

Dingler said that members of the Falun Gong movement “have been abducted into labor camps, ‘re-educated,’ tortured and sometimes harvested for organs.”

“We are seeing a lot of similarities between this and the Uyghur crisis on a massive scale. Falun Gong practitioners, and now all other faith groups, are generally charged with ‘subversion of state power’ or ‘inciting subversion of state power,’” Dingler added. [Blog Editor: Emphasis is mine but note who the perceived enemies of Chinese Communism are vilified and the current vilification being executed upon American Biblical Christians and American Conservative-Patriots resisting the Dem-Marxist fundamental transformation of American Culture.]

“This is the government’s way of getting rid of illegal religious leaders, which they initially did with Falun Gong.”

In May 1989, around 1 million Chinese, mostly students, gathered at Tiananmen Square in Beijing to protest, demanding greater democratic representation.

Following weeks of demonstrations, the Chinese police and military entered the Square in June of that year and violently dispersed the protests, resulting in thousands of deaths.

An iconic image from the well-documented protest was of an unknown figure commonly called “Tank Man,” who stood in front of a line of tanks and eventually even climbed onto one of them.

Although the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests are probably the most widely known demonstrations against Communist policies, others have taken place since then.

Amnesty International China researcher Doriane Lau told CP about other demonstrations, including the 1999 Falun Gong protest in Beijing, the PX protest in 2011 over the presence of chemical factories in certain regions, the“Jasmine Revolution” protests in 2011, labor protests in 2012 and 2018, and protests against certain evictions in Beijing in 2017.

“Given the crackdown on the right to freedom of peaceful assembly in China, a meaningful assessment of civil society movement/mass movement would also include other more dispersed but widespread movements online and offline,” explained Lau.

“They include the New Citizens’ Movement since 2012, MeToo movement, vaccine-scandal protests, protests related to food safety, and migrant worker protests.”

Hart, of the College of William and Mary, told CP that China has also seen many smaller protests among laborers “due to economic reform” as well as “several serious Uyghur protests.”

“There were huge protests over the landslides triggered by the Three Gorges Dam just prior to the start of the 2008 Olympics,” she added. “Foreign media also was very critical due to restricted access to the internet.”

Nevertheless, Hart did not consider the various protests comparable to the scale of the 1989 Tiananmen Square demonstrations.

An enduring power

Despite protests and social change programs that resulted in millions of deaths, the Chinese Communist Party remains securely in power in the world’s most populous nation with increasing global influence.

Hart believes that this endurance was due in large part to “enormous economic growth,” saying that up until 2008, there was an “approximate 10 percent rise in GDP.”

State-sponsored force is another factor, with many, including Human Rights Watch, reporting an uptick in repression since President Xi Jinping took power in 2013.

“It has arbitrarily detained human rights defenders and lawyers, tightened control over civil society, media and the internet, and deployed invasive mass surveillance technology,” noted the organization.

“The government imposes particularly heavy-handed control in the ethnic minority regions of Xinjiang and Tibet. The government’s cultural persecution and arbitrary detention of a million Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslims since 2017 constitute crimes against humanity.”

HRW also noted that the CCP has been cracking down on the freedoms of Hong Kong and “initially covered up the COVID-19 outbreak and later hindered international efforts to investigate the virus’ origin.”

Dingler of ChinaAid told CP that Xi’s “policy of ‘sinicization’ is one which makes the state-sanctioned religions more acceptable to socialist ideals, effectively crippling them of any authentic practice of their faith.”

“The Chinese Communist Party has a pretty tight grip on the internet, evidenced by how they immediately took down tennis star Peng Shuai’s sexual assault allegation back in November,” he continued.

“They also heavily regulate their school system, so it remains impossible to get two sides to one issue. Christians in China actually take the risk of homeschooling their children instead of sending them to the ‘brainwashing centers.’”

Furthermore, according to The Associated Press, China was previously expected to improve its human rights record by 2008 as part of the agreement to host the Summer Olympics that year. But in 2022, such proposed conditions were “all but absent.”

“If anything, there’s a lot less pressure than 2008,” said Amanda Shuman, a China researcher at the University of Freiburg, to the AP. “The Chinese government knows full well that its global economic upper hand allows it to do whatever it wishes.”

This happened in Pakistan’s village called Bughyana in Kasur District. A Muslim landlord who is also a member of current government’s man Political Party killed a Christian man from that village because he was a Gospel Singer and that Muslim landlord didn’t like Gospel songs. He attacked his house, kidnapped him and tortured him in different ways including electrocution for days until he died. Now the government, Police or Courts of Pakistan are not doing anything because the man who died is a Christian and they just don’t care about a Christian. Pakistani Christians are facing genocide right now. Pakistani Government is actively involved in killing Christians everyday, they specifically target young Christian men. It seems like a crime to be a Christian in Pakistan. Please pray for this man’s family and share this video so more people can see the true face of Pakistan. You can’t find that kind of news on Mainstream Media which is why we need your help in spreading it. Pakistani Media always criticize India and other countries but at the same time they hide news in their own countries. This Christian woman who is speaking in the video has to hide her face because if she is recognized then Pakistani secret agencies will kidnap her and she will be disappeared forever.

When I finger point the reality of Islam, the race-baiters

Come out of the woodwork like cockroaches and scream, “ISLAMOPHOBE!” I’ll get over it but I expect the usual Social Media banning. In fact I would not be surprised if Youtube censors this 2 minute and 45 second video in one fashion or another.

If you think the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic is bad, try being a committed Christian in an Islamic dominated nation.

The Youtube description lacks details such as names and specific motives. I believe I have found more details from a Vatican News post from 3/5/20:

Pakistan’s religious leaders condemn brutal murder of young Christian

Pakistan’s Christian and Muslim leaders are calling for justice for the killers of Saleem and for stopping violence against Christians.

March 5, 2020 – 17:20

Vatican News

Outrage and condemnation are running high in Pakistan’s Christian communities following the brutal murder of a 22-year old young Christian in Kasur district, in Punjab Province.

Saleem Masih was attacked whilst taking a bath in a tube-well pool belonging to an influential local Muslim landlord.  Accusing him of polluting the pool water, his killers tortured him brutally causing multiple fractures and internal and external injuries all over his body.

The murderers kept him for about three days before returning the body to his family.  Taken to a hospital in Lahore Saleem succumbed to death on 28 February after three agonising days.

Several Christian and Muslim religious leaders met in Lahore on Wednesday to address the issue and plan their action, the Vatican’s Fides news agency reported.

At the meeting, chaired by Anglican Bishop Azad Marshal Raiwind of the Church of Pakistan, were present, among others, Father Francis Nadeem OFM Cap, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Interreligious Dialogue and Ecumenism (NCIDE) of Pakistan’s Catholic Bishops’ Conference (PCBC), Pastor Emmanuel Khokhar and Islamic leader Muhammad Asim Makhdoom.

All present “expressed deep regret” over the episode, a sign of widespread intolerance towards Christians, and also over the inaction of the police to prevent the crime and releasing the perpetrators soon after.

“It is the state’s responsibility to provide security to all citizens of the country without any kind of discrimination. All citizens, of all religions, are equal, contribute to the development of their beloved nation and deserve equal rights,” Fr Nadeem told Fides.  “We are a nation and live under a single Constitution and a single flag. The state must enforce these fundamental principles,” he added.

Bishop Azad Marshal declared he will file a “First Information Report against the criminals and will not step back until the perpetrators receive the appropriate punishment”.

The assembly of religious leaders expressed While expressing pain and bitterness at the persecution of Christians in Pakistan, the assembly of religious leaders also recalled the sufferings of Muslims in India, inviting both countries to avoid discriminatory laws and behaviour and respect the “principle of citizenship”.

The assembly decided to appeal to human rights organizations of the world “to take immediate action to stop violence against Muslims in India and against religious minorities in Pakistan”.  It also planned to appeal to the government of Pakistan take practical measures to avoid this type of incident in the future and bring the perpetrators of Saleem Masih’s murder to justice and actively promote interreligious harmony in Pakistan.  (Source: Fides)

The Christian Post (CP) provides even more details. Search engine examinations only points to Peace Worldwide on Youtube about the murder victim being a Gospel Singer. Either Peace Worldwide video dated 3/12/20 got the details wrong or yet another incident of persecuting Christians in Pakistan has taken place. Below are the CP details:

Pakistani Christian man tortured to death for bathing in well water; family wants justice

By Samuel Smith, CP Reporter

MARCH 04, 2020

Christian Post

A 22-year-old Christian man was beaten to death in Pakistan’s Punjab province by men who accused him of “contaminating” water in a well owned by a Muslim farmer.

Sources have told human rights organizations that Christian laborer Saleem Masih from the Kasur district of Punjab was chained, dragged, and beaten with rods by a landowner and four other men around Feb. 25.

Masih died from his injuries on Feb. 28 at Lahore General Hospital, according to the U.K.-based Centre for Legal Aid, Assistance and Settlement.

Masih’s older brother told the Union of Catholic Asia News that Masih was tortured for two hours for washing himself off in a tube well owned by a Muslim landowner who has been identified as Sher Doga.

“We have to take a bath after unloading husk from a trolley. Even the cold weather doesn’t matter. The itching from chaff, stuck in our clothes, disturbs our sleep,” Nadeem Masih was quoted as saying.

“They threatened him with dire consequences when he cleaned himself after unloading a vehicle last week. They accused him of desecrating their water. He was already being warned about making TikTok videos in farms belonging to Muslim landlords.”

Masih was discovered lying in Doga’s cattle farm with serious injuries on Feb. 25 in Bhagiana village, where many Christians work as farm laborers.

Nadeem Masih said local women informed him that they heard Masih moaning in pain around 7 a.m.

“He told the police about being chained, beaten and electrocuted by four men,” Nadeem Masih said. “They rolled a thick iron rod over his entire body. He was like a crushed sugar cane from a juice machine.”

Although Masih was taken to a hospital for surgery, he died from organ failure.

According to UCANews, Doga was arrested but later released. The high court in Lahore accepted a bail petition from the suspects who accused the Masih of stealing.

CLAAS Director Nasir Sayeed said in a press release that Doga summoned the police himself. Sayeed accused Doga of bribing police since police pressed Masih’s family to settle the matter.

According to Sayeed, Doga justified the crime by saying that Masih “committed a crime by dirtying” the well water.

“The Masih family had to plead with the landowner to free Saleem Masih so they could take him to a hospital for medical treatment,” Sayeed reported.

Ghafoor Masih told CLAAS that he wants justice for his son.

“Those who have killed my son must be punished for taking the law into their own hands and killing him for nothing but for being Christian,” Ghafoor Masih was quoted as saying.

According to Sayeed, it will not be easy to get justice for Masih because the “perpetrators are so influential.”

“The Pakistani police is often biased when it comes to the matter Muslims and non-Muslims,” Sayeed said.

Michelle Chaudhry, president of the Cecil and Iris Chaudhry Foundation, said in a statement that the “horrific act of violence is once again a grim reminder that intolerance in the name of religion in Pakistan has escalated beyond the rule of law.”

“Unfortunately, in Pakistan, when it comes to the religious minorities anyone is free to act as a prosecutor, judge and executor,” Chaudhry explained. “We cannot allow this to go on; impunity around violence against religious minorities in Pakistan has to end.”

Pakistan is ranked as the fifth-worst country in the world when it comes to Christian persecution, according to Open Doors USA’s 2020 World Watch List. Christians have often been victimized by societal persecution in the predominantly Muslim country.

In 2014, two Christians from Kasur were burned alive in a brick kiln by a Muslim mob after they were accused of desecrating a copy of the Quran.

“It is unacceptable that Christians in Pakistan still face discrimination and hatred on account of their religious identity,” CSW Executive Mervyn Thomas said in a statement.

“The government of Pakistan must take decisive action against the perpetrators of hate and those who carry out such crimes. We also urge the authorities to fully commit to the long-term work of overcoming the prejudiced mindset toward religious minorities in society.”

In a Feb. 26 tweet, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan warned that ” anyone in Pakistan targeting our non-Muslim citizens or their places of worship will be dealt with strictly.”

“Our minorities are equal citizens of this country,” Khan wrote.

According to UCA News, over 1,000 Christians attended Saleem Masih’s funeral held at an evangelical church in front of his home. Reportedly among those in attendance was Ejaz Alam, Punjab’s minister on human rights and minority affairs.

Masih’s killing has inspired the social media hashtag #JusticeForSaleemMasih.

Islamic Jihadists Kill Christian Pastor; Begin a Deadly New Year for Christians in Nigeria

Pastor Lawan Andimi

I stumbled upon an ACLJ email dated 2/1/20 that submitted a number of petitions to sign to forward the cause of Christian faith in legal matters. The petition that caught my eye was a condemnation of Islamic terrorists Boko Haram executing Pastor Lawan Andimi by beheading. WHY? For the Islamic crime of not bowing to Islamic Supremacy.

This is the classic example of the reason I will NEVER trust an adherent of Islam.

In full disclosure, ACLJ sends out these petitions largely as a device of donation revenue. The ACLJ is a worthy cause. In my case, I signed the petition to voice my disapproval of Islamic persecution of Christians but did not donate money. You do as your conscience and human spirit leads you.

Islamic Jihadists Kill Christian Pastor; Begin a Deadly New Year for Christians in Nigeria

By CeCe Heil

1/27/20

ACLJ Petition

2020 is already proving to be a deadly year for innocent Christians in Nigeria.

Boko Haram – the Nigerian jihadist militia pledged to ISIS – just beheaded a Christian Pastor who weeks ago was shown in a hostage video telling the world: “Don’t cry. Don’t worry. But thank God for everything.”

As reported in the New York Times, Pastor Lawan Andimi was executed by Boko Haram and his hometown attacked:

Islamic militants in Nigeria have killed a Christian pastor who had pleaded for his life in a video just days earlier, and a human rights activist said Tuesday that other extremists attacked his hometown on the same day.

The Rev. Lawan Andimi was abducted earlier this month when Boko Haram militants attacked the Michika local government area, where he was the chairman of a local chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria. He was killed on Monday.

Anyone who has seen the video knows that Rev. Andimi did not plead for his life. In fact, he was calm, and even appeared to be at peace, trusting in God and stating:

By the grace of God, I will be together with my wife, my children, and my colleagues. [But] if the opportunity has not been granted, maybe it is the will of God . . . I have never been discouraged because all conditions that one finds himself in is in the hands of God.

The unshakable faith of this pastor should be humbling to every Christian. The fact that he was executed by Islamic radicals because of his faith should infuriate every human being.

In the same week, another group of jihadists reportedly murdered two Christian teenage girls.

[Muslim Fulani] herdsmen on motorbikes rode into Gora-Gan village in Zango Kataf County at about 5 p.m. shooting villagers on sight, according to a local resident. Luka Biniyat, spokesman for the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU), confirmed the killing of Briget Philip, 18, and Priscilla David, 19.

Other young Christians were injured in the attack, including a 12-year-old.

The evil of these jihadists seems to know no limit. According to the New York Times, the Islamic State has even used or forced children to execute Christians:

On Friday, the Islamic State’s West Africa Province, known as ISWAP, released a video which showed a hooded child with pistol in hand execute a Christian man.

In the case of Rev. Andimi, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari tweeted:

I am greatly saddened by the fact that the terrorists went on to kill him even while giving signals of a willingness to set him free by releasing him to third parties. This barbarism is condemnable. We will ensure that these terrorists pay a heavy price for their evil actions. — Muhammadu Buhari (@MBuhari) January 21, 2020

However in every instance of violence, the Nigerian government has seemed unable or worse, unwilling to do anything about it. The body count continues to rise, and Christians live in constant fear.

This deadly injustice has to stop. Nigerian Islamic terrorists are waging a horrific campaign of mass atrocities against people in their own country simply because they are Christians. And those they don’t kill they take hostage and even enslave.

We’ve gone to the United Nations through our European office, the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ), demanding international intervention for Christian teen Leah Sharibu, one of over 100 schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram at gunpoint almost two years ago.

Boko Haram is holding the innocent young Christian prisoner because she refuses to convert to Islam. The sinister group threatened to kill or enslave her. Until recently, we weren’t even sure if Leah was still alive. Thankfully the Nigerian government  confirmed that she is, but she still desperately needs help.

We submitted a written submission to the U.N. Human Rights Council warning that the violence is boiling over into other regions, and asking for immediate action to stop the bloodshed and persecution before it’s too late:

It is imperative that the U.N. take swift action and work with the government of Nigeria to ensure that Leah and all others who remain captured are returned home safely and to put an end to the atrocities being carried out in Nigeria by Boko Haram and the Fulani Herdsmen. No one should have to live under the fear of being abducted, enslaved, or killed.

Action must be taken to not only stop the spread of violence within Nigeria but also the spread of violence in west Africa. Boko Haram has in fact already begun carrying out attacks in neighbouring Chad and Cameroon.

If nothing is done to stop these violent radicals and hold them accountable for their atrocities, the outlook for Christians in Nigeria, and across Africa, looks bleak. We cannot let these Islamic militias hunt Christians into extinction.

As we stated in our submission:

The U.N. Charter calls on the U.N. to remove threats to peace, and the Genocide Convention calls on the U.N. to prevent acts of genocide, not merely to respond to them. We have seen in Iraq and Syria what happens when the U.N. fails to take preventive measures when it is clear that mass atrocities are being carried out against a particular group of people. This is only the beginning, if meaningful action is not taken now the problem in Nigeria will worsen.

We ask every ACLJ member to pray for the family of Pastor Lawan, and for Leah Sharibu, that she is finally liberated from her evil captors, as well as for her family as they endure this nightmare.

We have a moral obligation to fight for our Christian brothers and sisters. All Christians have a right to live and worship in peace. We will continue to work at the U.N. and with world leaders until the violence is not only stopped, but action is taken to bring the extremist perpetrators to justice and prevent the bloodshed from ever happening again.

UN, UK Treating Persecuted Christians as “Enemies”

How long will Christians in America and however many Christians left in Multiculturalist Europe remain silent as Christians are exterminated in Muslim dominated lands AND the same persecuted Christians refused asylum in a safer (BUT not safe as long as there is Muslim influence) West? EVEN the Western Press ignores persecuted Christians as one has to go to alternative news sources to learn the UN and UK dominated by intolerant Islamic influences goes along with exterminating Christianity.

UN, UK Treating Persecuted Christians as “Enemies”

The United Nations Refugee Agency appears to be committed to blocking persecuted Christians from receiving any assistance.  According to a recent CBN News report:

Christian Syrian refugees … have been blocked from getting help from the United Nations Refugee Agency, the UNHCR, by Muslim UN officials in Jordan.

One of the refugees, Hasan, a Syrian convert to Christianity, told us in a phone call that Muslim UN camp officials “knew that we were Muslims and became Christians and they dealt with us with persecution and mockery. They didn’t let us into the office. They ignored our request.”

Hasan and his family are now in hiding, afraid that they will be arrested by Jordanian police, or even killed. Converting to Christianity is a serious crime in Jordan.

According to Timothy, a Jordanian Muslim who converted to Christianity, “All of the United Nations officials [apparently in Jordan], most of them, 99 percent, they are Muslims, and they were treating us as enemies.”

Addressing this issue, Paul Diamond, a British human rights lawyer, recently elaborated:

You have this absurd situation where the scheme is set up to help Syrian refugees and the people most in need, Christians who have been “genocided,” they can’t even get into the U.N. camps to get the food. If you enter and say I am a Christian or convert, the Muslim U.N. guards will block you [from] getting in and laugh at you and mock you and even threaten you…. [saying]  “You shouldn’t have converted. You’re an idiot for converting. You get what you get,” words to that effect.

The next obstacle those few Christians who make it past U.N. refugee camps face are the immigration centers of Western nations themselves.  For example, the discrimination is apparently so obvious in the United Kingdom that Lord George Carey is suing the U.K.’s Home Office for allegedly being “institutionally biased” against Christian refugees and therefore complicit in what he calls “the steady crucifixion of Middle East Christians.”

He is hardly the only one making such charges.  One independent report said that when it comes to offering asylum, the UK “appears to discriminate in favour of Muslims” instead of Christians. Statistics seemed to confirm this allegation:  “out of 4,850 Syrian refugees accepted for resettlement by the Home Office in 2017, only eleven were Christian, representing just 0.2% of all Syrian refugees accepted by the UK.”

Due to such figures, Lord David Alton of Liverpool, a life peer in the House of Lords, wrote to Home Secretary Sajid Javid, who then headed the Home Office:

It is widely accepted that Christians, who constituted around 10 per cent of Syria’s pre-war population, were specifically targeted by jihadi rebels and continue to be at risk….  As last year’s statistics more than amply demonstrate, this [ratio imbalance between Muslim and Christian refugees taken in] is not a statistical blip. It shows a pattern of discrimination that the Government has a legal duty to take concrete steps to address.

Such imbalances appear even stranger on the realization that the Islamic State, which precipitated the refugee crisis, is itself a Sunni organization that only targets non-Sunnis—primarily Christians, Yazidis, and Shia—all minority groups that the U.S. has acknowledged experienced a “genocide.”

Two of the strangest individual cases of anti-Christian bias were reported earlier this year, when the U.K. denied asylum to persecuted Christians by bizarrely citing the Bible and Islam.  Both Christians, a man and a woman, were former Muslims separately seeking asylum from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the ninth worst persecutor of Christians, particularly former Muslims.

In his rejection letter from the UK’s Home Office, the Iranian man was told that several biblical passages were “inconsistent” with his claim to have converted to Christianity after discovering it was a “peaceful” faith.  The letter cited biblical excerpts—including from Exodus, Leviticus, and Matthew—as supposed proof that the Bible is violent; it said Revelation was “filled with imagery of revenge, destruction, death and violence.”  The rejection letter then concluded: “These examples are inconsistent with your claim that you converted to Christianity after discovering it is a ‘peaceful’ religion, as opposed to Islam which contains violence, rage and revenge.”

In the second case, an Iranian female asylum seeker was sarcastically informed in her rejection letter that “You affirmed in your AIR [Asylum Interview Record] that Jesus is your saviour, but then claimed that He would not be able to save you from the Iranian regime. It is therefore considered that you have no conviction in your faith and your belief in Jesus is half-hearted.”

Discussing her experiences, the rejected woman said: “When I was in Iran I converted to Christianity and the situation changed and the government were [sic] looking for me and I had to flee from Iran….  In my country if someone converts to Christianity their punishment is death or execution.”  Concerning the asylum process, she said that whenever she responded to her Home Office interviewer, “he was either chuckling or maybe just kind of mocking when he was talking to me….  [H]e asked me why Jesus didn’t help you from the Iranian regime or Iranian authorities.”

Similarly, when Sister Ban Madleen, a Christian nun who was chased out of Iraq by the Islamic State, wanted to visit her sick sister in the U.K., she was denied a visa—twice.  A number of other Christian orderlies were also denied visas, including another nun with a PhD in Biblical Theology from Oxford; another nun denied for not having a personal bank account; and a Catholic priest denied for not being married.

In another case, Britain’s Home Office not only denied entry to three Christian leaders—archbishops celebrated for their heroic efforts to aid persecuted Christians in Syria and Iraq who had been invited to attend the consecration of the U.K.’s first Syriac Cathedral, an event attended by Prince Charles—but also mockingly told them there was “no room at the inn.”

Considering that persecuted Christian minorities—including priests and nuns—are denied visas, one may conclude that the Home Office is extremely stringent concerning its asylum requirements.  However, this notion is quickly dispelled on the realization that the Home Office regularly grants visas and refugee status to extremist Muslims (not to mention one has yet to hear about Muslim asylum seekers being denied because the Koran is too violent, or because they do not have enough faith in Muhammad).

For example,  despite having no papers on him—and despite telling the Home Office that “he had been trained as an ISIS soldier”—Ahmed Hassan was still granted asylum two years before he launched a terrorist attack on a London train station that left 30 injured in September 2017.  The Home Office also allowed a foreign Muslim cleric to enter and lecture in London, even though he advocates decapitating, burning, and/or throwing homosexuals from cliffs.  According to another report, “British teenagers are being forced to marry abroad and are raped and impregnated while the Home Office ‘turns a blind eye’ by handing visas to their [mostly Muslim] husbands.”

The case of Asia Bibi—a Christian wife and mother of five who spent the last decade of her life on death row in Pakistan for challenging the authority of Muhammad—best sheds light on the immigration situation in the UK.  After she was finally acquitted in November, 2018, Muslims rioted throughout Pakistan; in one march, more than 11,000 Muslims demanded her instant and public hanging.

As Pakistanis make for the majority of the U.K.’s significant Muslim population—Sajid Javid, then head of the Home Office, is himself Pakistani—when they got wind that the U.K. might offer Asia Bibi asylum, they too rioted.   As a result, then Prime Minister Theresa May personally blocked Bibi’s asylum application, “despite UK playing host to [Muslim] hijackers, extremists and rapists,” to quote from one headline.  In other words, Britain was openly allowing “asylum policy to be dictated to by a Pakistan mob,” reported the Guardian, “after it was confirmed it urged the Home Office not to grant Asia Bibi political asylum in the UK…”

On the other hand, the Home Office allowed a Pakistani cleric who celebrated the slaughter of a politician because he had defended Asia Bibi—a cleric deemed so extreme as to be banned from his native Pakistan—to enter and lecture in U.K. mosques.

Discussing how “visas were granted [by the Home Office] in July [2016] to two Pakistani Islamic leaders who have called for the killing of Christians accused of blasphemy,” Dr. Martin Parsons, a human rights activist, expressed his frustration: “It’s unbelievable that these persecuted Christians who come from the cradle of Christianity are being told there is no room at the inn, when the UK is offering a welcome to Islamists who persecute Christians.”

In short, Muslim influence against Christians is not only at work in U.N. refugee camps, as recent evidence indicates, but in the U.K’s immigration policy as well: Christian “infidels” need not apply, whereas radical Muslims are welcomed with open arms.

His interest in Islamic civilization was first piqued when he began visiting the Middle East as a child in the 1970s. Interacting and conversing with the locals throughout the decades has provided him with an intimate appreciation for that part of the world, complementing his academic training.

After a brief athletic career—including winning the 1993 NPC Los Angeles Bodybuilding Championship as a teenager—Raymond went on to receive his B.A. and M.A. (both in History, focusing on the ancient and medieval Near East, with dual-minors in Philosophy and Literature) from California State University, Fresno. There he studied closely with noted military-historian Victor Davis Hanson. He also took graduate courses at Georgetown University’s Center for Contemporary Arab Studies—including classes on the history, politics, and economics of the Arab world—and studied Medieval Islam and Semitic languages at Catholic University of America. His M.A. thesis examined an early military encounter between Islam and Byzantium based on arcane Arabic and Greek texts.

Motives Behind the False Narrative on Islam and the West

How — and why — reality was turned upside down.

An Islamic Mosque

By Raymond Ibrahim

Raymond Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

Any honest and objective appraisal of Islam’s historic jihad on the Christian world must be eye-opening, to say the very least.  In the first century of its existence (between 632-732) Islam permanently conquered, Arabized, and Islamized nearly three-quarters of the Christian world, thereby permanently severing it.  Europe came to be known as “the West” because it was literally the remaining and westernmost appendage of Christendom not to be swallowed up by Islam.

For roughly a millennium thereafter, Arabs, Berbers, Turks, and Tatars—all of whom called and saw themselves as Muslims—launched raid after raid, all justified and lauded as jihads, into virtually every corner of Europe.  They reached as far as Iceland and provoked the U.S. into its first war as a nation.  The devastation was indescribable; some regions in Europe, particularly in Spain and the Balkans, remain uninhabitable due to the incessant raiding.  Some 15 million Europeans were enslaved during this perennial jihad and, according to contemporary records, treated horrifically.

In short, “if we … ask ourselves how and when the modern notion of Europe and the European identity was born,” writes historian Franco Cardini, “we realize the extent to which Islam was a factor (albeit a negative one) in its creation.  Repeated Muslim aggression against Europe between the seventh to eighth centuries, then between the fourteenth and the eighteenth centuries … was a ‘violent midwife’ to Europe.”

Here the inevitable question arises: How could such a long, well-documented history of unmitigated Islamic aggression that had immense repercussions on the development of Western civilization now be presented as the antithesis of reality?

The answer revolves around a number of modern philosophies—from the Enlightenment to moral/cultural relativism—that have each contributed to an all-pervasive “Narrative” concerning the historic relationship between Islam and the West.  In presenting the West as aggressor and Islam as victim—hence the latter’s ongoing “grievance”-based animosity—this history is as entrenched as it is the reverse of reality.

To understand this, one must first understand that, despite its many manifestations, permutations, and emphases over the centuries, the Narrative’s unspoken driving force has largely been the same: to demonize and thus justify a break away from Europe’s traditional heritage, religion, identity, and mores.  If this sounds farfetched, consider: whereas by any objective standard the West is responsible for practically every boon taken for granted today—from scientific, technological, economic and medicinal advances, to the abolition of slavery and anti-discrimination laws—today no people of any race or civilization despise their heritage except Western people.    Clearly something is amiss.

Or consider how leftists/liberals/progressives who forever whine against any vestige of Western traditionalism, habitually make common cause with Islam—despite the latter’s truly oppressive qualities.  Thus feminists denounce the Western “patriarchy”—but say nothing against the Muslim treatment of women as chattel; homosexuals denounce Christian bakeries—but say nothing against the Muslim execution of homosexuals; multiculturalists denounce Christians who refuse to suppress their faith to accommodate the religious sensibilities of Muslim minorities—but say nothing against the entrenched and open Muslim persecution of Christians.

The reason for these discrepancies is simple:  “The enemy [Islam] of my enemy [Christianity] is my friend.”

From here, how and why such a formally well-known history of Muslim aggression against Europe was not merely suppressed but reversed should start making sense: of all non-European, non-Christian peoples, only Muslims lived alongside and interacted with (that is, constantly encroached and warred on) Europe for over a millennium; this made Muslims the only people—the only foil—that could be used to support the Narrative’s argument against premodern Europe.  But first an intellectually satisfying way of casting Muslims as victims not conquerors was needed.

Enter literary professor Edward Said’s 1978 book, Orientalism.  Its central thesis is that the Orientalists—the Europeans who began the academic study of the East centuries ago—were not writing objectively about Muslims and their history, but rather intentionally slandering and stereotyping them in order to justify dominating them during the colonial era.

This made perfect sense—but only because the postmodern Western mind had already been primed for it.  For if, as Marxist Materialism teaches, ideas/religions have no influence on history (and thus, economic want, not “jihad,” caused Muslims to expand); if, as Relativism and its spawn Multiculturalism teach, there are no absolute truths, religious or otherwise (and thus no culture or civilization is “better” than another); if, as pop psychology teaches, violent and negative behavior is always a product of societal injustices (and thus the more Muslims behave violently, the more that only proves they are frustrated victims)—then what does one make of the aforementioned centuries of European writings that uniformly depict Muslims as ideologically driven by violence and lust?

Simple: dismiss them all as bigoted and hypocritical lies by nefarious Europeans intent on demonizing a superior, more tolerant faith and civilization.   Thus a whole new academic approach to Islam—stripped of all historic writings not conforming to the Narrative—was born.  History would no longer shape ideas and attitudes; rather, preexisting ideas and attitudes—wishful thinking—would shape history.

Bernard Lewis, himself a target of Edward Said’s Orientalism, summarized this new approach—or “pseudo history”—well:

According to a currently fashionable epistemological view, absolute truth is either nonexistent or unattainable.  Therefore, truth doesn’t matter; facts don’t matter.  All discourse is a manifestation of a power relationship, and all knowledge is slanted.  Therefore, accuracy doesn’t matter; evidence doesn’t matter.  All that matters is the attitude—the motives and purposes—of the user of knowledge, and this may simply be claimed for oneself or imputed to another.  In imputing motives, the irrelevance of truth, facts, evidence, and even plausibility is a great help.  The mere assertion suffices” (Islam and the West, 115).

Orientalism’s success lay less in anything intrinsic to it—American classicist Bruce Thornton characterizes it as an “incoherent amalgam of dubious postmodern theory, sentimental Third Worldism, glaring historical errors, and Western guilt”—and more because it fit the West’s prevailing zeitgeist (which, of course, thrives on “dubious postmodern theory, sentimental Third Worldism, glaring historical errors, and Western guilt”).

Nor does the Narrative predominate today because people are well read or pay attention to academe; as French historian Marc Ferro demonstrated in his Cinema and History (1988), the overwhelming majority of Western people’s knowledge of history comes from movies.  And almost any major film dealing with premodern Europeans and Muslims—Robin Hood (1991), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), etc.—contrasts hypocritical, intolerant, and fanatical Christians with sophisticated, advanced, and tolerant Muslims.   Commenting on such films back in 1997, Lewis wrote, “The misrepresentation of the past in the cinema is probably the most fertile and effective source of such misinformation at the present time…”

Twenty years later the Narrative has only metastasized and infected all aspects of public life, including politics and so-called “mainstream news.”   Meanwhile, social and other media giants—YouTube, Google, Facebook, Twitter—increasingly censor material that contradicts the Narrative.

Such is how a previously well-known history was turned upside down and used to weaken the West—the greatest sin of which is ever again to think or behave like its “awful” ancestors did concerning Islam.

Genocide of Christians Reaches “Alarming Stage”

If someone ever tells you there is a Moderate Islam and a Radical Islam and the latter is not representative of Islam, that person is an outright liar or is deceived into believing a lie.

It’s kind of like telling a Jewish Holocaust Survivor there is a Moderate Nazi and a Radical Nazi.

The horror that is Islam is being experienced NOW by Christians in Muslim dominated nations. Can you say GENOCIDE?

Genocide of Christians Reaches “Alarming Stage”

By Raymond Ibrahim

Gatestone Institute

  • Many of the world’s most persecuted Christians have nothing whatsoever to do with colonialism or missionaries. Those most faced with the threat of genocide — including Syria’s and Iraq’s Assyrians or Egypt’s Copts — were Christian several centuries before the ancestors of Europe’s colonizers became Christian and went missionizing

  • The BBC report highlights “political correctness” as being especially responsible for the West’s indifference….

  • Among the worst persecutors are those that rule according to Islamic law, or Sharia — which academics such as Georgetown University’s John Esposito insist is equitable and just. In Afghanistan (ranked #2), “Christianity is not permitted to exist.”

UK Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt (pictured) commissioned an “Independent Review into the global persecution of Christians,” which was recently published. (Photo by Jack Taylor/Getty Images)

Christian persecution ‘at near genocide levels,'” the title of a May 3 BBC report, cites a lengthy interim study ordered by British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and led by Rev. Philip Mounstephen, the Bishop of Truro.

According to the BBC report, one in three people around the world suffer from religious persecution, with Christians being “the most persecuted religious group”. “Religion ‘is at risk of disappearing’ in some parts of the world,” it noted, and “In some regions, the level and nature of persecution is arguably coming close to meeting the international definition of genocide, according to that adopted by the UN.”

British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt is also quoted on why Western governments have been “asleep” — his word — concerning this growing epidemic:

“I think there is a misplaced worry that it is somehow colonialist to talk about a religion [Christianity] that was associated with colonial powers rather than the countries that we marched into as colonisers. That has perhaps created an awkwardness in talking about this issue—the role of missionaries was always a controversial one and that has, I think, also led some people to shy away from this topic.”

Whatever the merits of such thinking, the fact is that many of the world’s most persecuted Christians have nothing whatsoever to do with colonialism or missionaries. Those most faced with the threat of genocide — including Syria’s and Iraq’s Assyrians or Egypt’s Copts — were Christian several centuries before the ancestors of Europe’s colonizers became Christian and went missionizing.

The BBC report highlights “political correctness” as being especially responsible for the West’s indifference, and quotes Hunt again in this regard: “What we have forgotten in that atmosphere of political correctness is actually the Christians that are being persecuted are some of the poorest people on the planet.”

Although the BBC report has an entire heading titled and devoted to the impact of “political correctness,” ironically, it too succumbs to this contemporary Western malady. For while it did a fair job in highlighting the problem, it said nothing about its causes — not one word about who is persecuting Christians, or why.

The overwhelming majority of Christian persecution, however, evidently occurs in Muslim majority nations. According to Open Doors’ World Watch List 2019 [WWL], which surveys the 50 nations where Christians are most persecuted, “Islamic oppression continues to impact millions of Christians.” In seven of the absolute worst ten nations, “Islamic oppression” is the cause of persecution. “This means, for millions of Christians—particularly those who grew up Muslim or were born into Muslim families—openly following Jesus can have painful consequences,” including death.

Among the worst persecutors are those that rule according to Islamic law, or Sharia — which academics such as Georgetown University’s John Esposito insist is equitable and just. In Afghanistan (ranked #2) , “Christianity is not permitted to exist,” says the WWL 2019, because it “is an Islamic state by constitution, which means government officials, ethnic group leaders, religious officials and citizens are hostile toward” Christians. Similarly, in Somalia, (#3), “The Christian community is small and under constant threat of attack. Sharia law and Islam are enshrined in the country’s constitution, and the persecution of Christians almost always involves violence.” In Iran (#9), “society is governed by Islamic law, which means the rights and professional possibilities for Christians are heavily restricted.”

Equally telling is that 38 of the 50 nations making the WWL 2019 are Muslim majority.

Perhaps the BBC succumbed to silence concerning the sources of Christian persecution — that is, succumbed to “the atmosphere of political correctness” which it ironically highlighted — because in its own report, it did not rely on the WWL. The problem with this interpretation is that the study the BBC did rely on, the Bishop of Truro’s, is saturated with talk concerning the actual sources of Christian persecution. In this regard, the words “Islam” and “Islamist” appear 61 times; “Muslim” appears 56 times in this review on persecuted Christians.

Here are a few of the more significant quotes from the Bishop of Truro’s report:

  • “The persecution of Christians is perhaps at its most virulent in the region of the birthplace of Christianity—the Middle East & North Africa.”

  • “In countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Saudi Arabia the situation of Christians and other minorities has reached an alarming stage.”

  • “The eradication of Christians and other minorities on pain of ‘the sword’ or other violent means was revealed to be the specific and stated objective of [Islamic] extremist groups in Syria, Iraq, Egypt, north-east Nigeria and the Philippines.”

  • “[T]here is mass violence which regularly expresses itself through the bombing of churches, as has been the case in countries such as Egypt, Pakistan, and Indonesia.”

  • “The single-greatest threat to Christians [in Nigeria] … came from Islamist militant group Boko Haram, with US intelligence reports in 2015 suggesting that 200,000 Christians were at risk of being killed… Those worst affected included Christian women and girls ‘abducted, and forced to convert, enter forced marriages, sexual abuse and torture.'”

  • “An intent to erase all evidence of the Christian presence [in Syria, Iraq, Egypt, north-east Nigeria and the Philippines] was made plain by the removal of crosses, the destruction of Church buildings and other Church symbols. The killing and abduction of clergy represented a direct attack on the Church’s structure and leadership.”

  • “Christianity now faces the possibility of being wiped-out in parts of the Middle East where its roots go back furthest. In Palestine, Christian numbers are below 1.5 percent; in Syria the Christian population has declined from 1.7 million in 2011 to below 450,000 and in Iraq, Christian numbers have slumped from 1.5 million before 2003 to below 120,000 today. Christianity is at risk of disappearing, representing a massive setback for plurality in the region.”

The BBC should be commended for (finally) reporting on this urgent issue — even if it is three years behind the times. As the Truro report correctly observes, “In 2016 various political bodies including the UK parliament, the European Parliament and the US House of Representatives, declared that ISIS atrocities against Christians and other religious minority groups such as Yazidis and Shi’a Muslims met the tests of genocide.”

At the very least, it appears that the BBC has stopped trying to minimize the specter of Christian persecution as it did in 2013, when this situation was just starting to reach the boiling point.

Persecuted Asia Bibi NEEDS ASYLUM after Release from Pakistan Prison

Asia Bibi & Pakistani Muslim Protestors

I have followed the plight of persecuted Pakistani Christian Asia Bibi for many years now. In case you haven’t heard of her, here is the simple outrageous circumstances Asia has faced for nearly a decade.

Asia Bibi (aka Aasiya Noreen) was sentenced to death because she defended Jesus to fellow Muslim laboring women angry Asia was drinking from a Muslim designated well (a description from a 2016 post):

Asia was raised in Ittan Wali, a small, rural village in the Sheikhupura District of Punjab, thirty miles outside of Lahore, and one day in 2009, she was picking berries in the sweltering heat, in a field with a group of Muslim women, who worked on the farm of Muslim landowner, Muhammad Idrees. Her family was one of only three Christian families in the village of more than 1,500 families

During this time, she was asked by some of the other women, to get some water for them from a well. On the long and dusty walk back, she took a sip of water from the vessel, and when the Muslim women discovered this they became extremely angry, and in an exchange, she told them: “Our Christ sacrificed His life on the cross for our sins…. Our Christ is alive.”

After uttering these words that she used to defend her faith against the mocking co-workers who tried to make her convert to Islam, she could never have dreamed the shocking consequences that would follow.

The Muslim women began to beat Asia. Then some men took her and locked her in a room. They announced from mosque loudspeakers that she would be punished by having her face blackened and being paraded through the village on a donkey.

“Local Christians informed the police, who took Asia into protective custody before the Muslims could carry out their plan. Christians urged the police not to file blasphemy charges, but the police claimed they had to go forward because of pressure from local Muslim leaders.”

After a lengthy trial, on Nov. 8, 2010, Asia Bibi was sentenced to death by a judge. The judge also fined Asia $1,190 (U.S.) and told her she had seven days to appeal the decision. …. (FRESH CALL FOR RELEASE OF ASIA BIBI; By Dan Wooding [Intro by John R. Houk]; SlantRight 2.0; 5/17/16)

She language in prison for eight years not knowing if the death sentenced would be carried out, fearing for her life from prison guards & prison inmates as well as existing in squalid conditions that threatened her life. On October 31, 2018 Pakistan’s highest court finally resisted Muslim death threats and overturned her death sentence due to inconsistent evidence. BUT the Pakistan government kept Asia languishing in prison fearing Muslim bloodthirsty Muslim rioting.

Protests among bigoted Muslims wanting to hang Asia Bibi for blaspheming their false prophet became rampant anyway. Indeed, the so-called religion of peace Muslims began attacking Pakistani Christians because the government was hiding Asia Bibi from Islamic Supremacist Muslim mobs:

Muslim Mob Burning Asia-Bibi likeness

These Muslims are so mad for the blood of one poor Christian woman, who has already suffered on death row for eight years, that they are taking out their bloodlust on random Christians within the country. This is a human rights abuse of monumental proportions, but you won’t hear a word about it from the United Nations or the world “human rights” organizations. They’re too busy looking for new ways to condemn Israel.

“Report: Unable to Reach Asia Bibi, Pakistan’s Islamists Attacking Random Christians,” by Edwin Mora, Breitbart, November 12, 2018 (Unable to Reach Asia Bibi, Pakistan’s Muslims Attacking Random Christians; By Pamela Geller; Geller Report; 11/14/18)

I am finding out from the National Review that the Pakistan government has finally released Asia Bibi from prison but – so far – has kept her and her family’s location secret from the Pakistani public.

Asia Bibi and family need asylum outside of Pakistan if their survival is to prevail. The so-called tolerant Brits and EU Multiculturalist governments have refused asylum because they all have admitted so many Islamic Supremacists into their nations, THEY ALL FEAR bloody Muslim rioting!

I have discovered that Senator Rand Paul has taken up Asia Bibi and Family’s asylum cause calling on President Trump to grant asylum:

A top Republican Senator has urged US President Donald Trump to grant asylum and refugee status to Pakistani national Asia Bibi, a Christian woman recently freed from prison after her blasphemy conviction was overturned.

Bibi, a 47-year-old mother of four, was released from Multan jail earlier this month after the Supreme Court in its landmark decision acquitted her of blasphemy charges.

Senator Rand Paul said that he was worried that Bibi won’t survive and he personally took up the matter with President Trump last week.

“I’ve been fighting for them to free Asia Bibi. I’ve talked to the President about granting her asylum and refugee status here,” Paul told CNN in an interview.

A senior member from an American think-tank has also suggested that Bibi should request asylum.

“President Trump should invite Ms Bibi to come to America and request asylum. To do so would be just, moral and wise,” Clifford D May, president of the Foundation for Defence of Democracies, said in an op-ed in The Washington Times this week. (US Senator seeks political asylum for Asia Bibi; By PTI; The Indian Express; 11/16/18 12:44:33 pm)

The Lessons of the Asia Bibi Case

By NINA SHEA

National Review

The daughters of Asia Bibi pose with an image of their mother outside their residence in Sheikhupura, Pakistan, in 2010. (Adrees Latif/Reuters)

Pakistan has released the purported blasphemer against Islam. Now what nation will have the courage to grant her asylum?

Asia Bibi, the Catholic mother imprisoned in Pakistan for nine years and condemned to hang for violating that country’s strict blasphemy law, has drawn broad sympathy throughout the West. Lacking credible evidence, and despite her denials, lower courts plainly yielded to Islamist pressure in making the illiterate field hand the first Pakistani woman to be given a death sentence for insulting Islam’s prophet, Mohammed. Then on October 31, Bibi finally received justice in an acquittal by Pakistan’s supreme court. But when she was released a week later, she found that mobs were baying for her blood throughout Pakistan — and, most surprisingly, that the West held out no firm offer of a safe haven.

Islamabad has given assurances that Bibi has been taken to a secret, secure location inside Pakistan, pending a permanent place of refuge. But her escape seems stalled. The West’s response so far of passive hand-wringing while Bibi faces mortal danger indicates more than poor planning; it shows a failure to fully comprehend the deeply radicalizing effects of the blasphemy taboo within the world’s second-largest Muslim nation — and the inroads it has made in the West.

Western leaders have consistently expressed concern for Bibi during her nearly decade-long ordeal. Human-rights advocates, such as the indefatigable Lord David Alton, who just last month met personally in Pakistan with the chief justice, have vigorously championed Bibi in the British parliament. Yet when the moment of truth arrived, London quickly decided it would not give her asylum owing to security concerns. The U.K. has its own radical Islamist leaders within its million-strong Pakistani community to worry about, including Anjem Choudary, paroled last month following a terror-law conviction. Lord Alton called the British decision “craven.”

In Paris, the city hall had an enlarged photo of Bibi by its front entrance when I last visited several years ago, and France has long been discussed as a place of asylum for her. But deadly Islamist attacks against Charlie Hebdo’s editors for blasphemy, and most recently against French Jews, make asylum there unthinkable. Last week Italy and Canada revealed their engagement in “sensitive” multilateral talks on Bibi’s case, but so far neither has offered an actual legal grant of asylum. Also last week, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologized for Canada’s turning away the MS St. Louis and its 907 desperate Jewish passengers seeking refuge from German Nazis 79 years ago. Hopefully, he will apply the St. Louis lesson to throw a lifeline to Bibi.

recent appeal on Bibi’s behalf by 190 European parliamentarians demands her safe passage from Pakistan but says nothing specific about where she can go next. The European countries most welcoming to refugees — the Scandinavian states, Germany, the Netherlands — all have a recent history of Islamist rioting and murder over perceived blasphemy against Islam: by irreverent cartoons, Theo van Gogh and Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s film on the treatment of women, a papal speech at Regensburg University, etc. Providing indefinite, round-the-clock security to a marked person such as Bibi would be costly, as the U.K. learned with Salman Rushdie. And Amsterdam has already had to withdraw much of its embassy staff from Pakistan this week following threats received after the nation granted asylum to Bibi’s lawyer and the Dutch politician Geert Wilders mocked the Muslim prophet on Twitter.

In a landmark blasphemy case in October, the European Court for Human Rights upheld an Austrian court’s conviction of a political activist on charges similar to Bibi’s, albeit they don’t carry the death penalty. For the sake of keeping social peace, Europe’s highest civil-rights court validated that country’s interest in criminalizing speech that “defames” the prophet Mohammed and in establishing a right to have “religious feelings protected.” The Austrian defendant had criticized the prophet as a “pedophile” for marrying a six-year-old; Bibi’s alleged insult is not disclosed, since repeating it would be deemed another act of blasphemy in Pakistan.

In truth, the anti-blasphemy movement went international several decades ago. After Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini issued a fatwa in 1989 against anyone connected with Rushdie’s novel The Satanic Verses, several of its editors, translators, and sellers were either attacked or murdered in Japan, the United States, Norway, and Turkey. The Saudi-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation leveraged the 2005 Danish cartoon crisis to get Europe to police speech to protect Islam. Since then, the EU has adopted hate-speech bans on anything deemed Islamophobic by anyone. (Charges in the Austria case were brought by a secular magazine, not Muslims.)

Europe is trying to placate the Islamists by giving in on the blasphemy issue, but Bibi’s experience is a case study on how legitimizing religious speech taboos only fans the flames.

Bibi was arrested in 2009 after she triggered a dispute with Muslim women when she, an “infidel,” took a sip of water from a communal cup while harvesting a hot field. The Muslim women accused Bibi of blaspheming their prophet during the course of this heated exchange. At trial, the Muslim berry pickers gave conflicting testimony and were manipulated by a local imam — facts that were overlooked by the trial court and Bibi’s devastatingly inexperienced trial attorney but would be determinative for the supreme court. In 2010, Bibi was convicted and sentenced under section 295-C of the 1986 blasphemy law. For her own protection, she was confined in an isolation cell, where she cooked her own food to avoid poisoning.

With the blasphemy law already infamous as an oppressive tool for settling personal scores against Christians and other minorities, Asia Bibi attracted the sympathy of Punjab’s governor, Salman Taseer, and Pakistan’s minorities minister, Shahbaz Bhatti. Both were assassinated in 2011. The murder of Bhatti, a Christian, occurred with impunity, while Mumtaz Qadri, the killer of the Muslim governor, was arrested, tried, and sentenced to death, whereupon he became lionized as a martyr for the faith.

Qadri’s fans include a large part of the Pakistani lawyers’ association, whose members, in their trademark black suits, showered rose petals on him as he entered the courthouse. They volunteered by the hundred to defend him pro bono. In 2008, this same lawyers’ association was enthusiastically cited by the New York Times as a hopeful sign for upholding Pakistan’s “liberal tradition,” and as “perhaps the most consequential outpouring of liberal, democratic energy in the Islamic world in recent years.” But as lawyers rallied around the blasphemy issue, it became deeply illiberal. Saiful Mulook, one of the last of the true liberals, who represented Bibi in her appeal, had to flee for his life last week and go to the Netherlands.

Another figure inspired by Qadri is hardline cleric Khadim Rizvi, who organized Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLP), a burgeoning political party centered on fighting blasphemy against Islam. Last week TLP incited massive protests against Bibi in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi, paralyzing key transportation routes. To restore order, the government blocked cellphone service and social media throughout the country for three days. Prime Minister Imran Khan also reportedly gave Rizvi a chance to appeal the supreme court’s decision to release Bibi and promised to block her from leaving the country. Meanwhile, Rizvi has been calling for the murder of the judges, It’s not clear what the prime minister will do if Bibi gets an actual visa and promise of asylum from the United States, for example. So far he hasn’t had to cross that bridge.

Bibi’s husband, Ashiq Massih, told me two and a half years ago, after a conference — held in New York and sponsored by the Holy See — on persecution that Pakistan’s supreme court wanted to release his wife but, concerned about anti-blasphemy rioting, was waiting “until things cooled down.” The court, tired of waiting, finally released Bibi last week, and Pakistan’s ensuing descent into radicalism, wholly separate from the Taliban, has been on full display. Asia Bibi is the litmus test of whether the United States and the rest of the West are really willing to defend persecuted religious minorities around the world.

Intro to Kutnicki Post about Muslim Brainwashing West

Intro by John R. Houk, Blog Editor

April 11, 2018

Adina Kutnicki is an author and a blogger. She is Jewish & Pro-Israel. Adina’s one-line description of her blog pretty much explains that which you read: “A Zionist & Conservative Blog”.

Adina Kutnicki

Her 4/10/18 post could be read as a Western indictment of blind Dhimmitude. Adina begins with U.S. schools actually requiring grade school students to learn Islamic doctrine in the classroom.

Can you imagine? Leftists and atheists have been fairly successful in eliminating Christian culture from having any influence due to some secularist SCOTUS Justices claiming a Thomas Jefferson letter to a Baptist Church insuring Church Establishment will not be used as a purpose to persecute their beliefs. The term derived from the Jefferson letter foisted as constitutional among Americans by a ridiculous interpretation of SCOTUS is “Separation of Church and State.” The SCOTUS majority opinion reinterpreted the Constitution based on the Jefferson letter EVEN THOUGH Jefferson was NOT a part of the Constitutional Convention that deliberated a penned the Constitution and Bill of Rights (1st ten Amendments) to be ratified by the Thirteen States. Jefferson was serving on diplomatic issues in France.

Dear God, many of the Original 13 States had Established Churches way past the ratification of the 1st Amendment, with Massachusetts being the last to disestablish in 1833.

Despite the majority opinion of SCOTUS Justices, the phrase can NO WHERE be found in U.S. Constitution AND that includes any Amendment to the Constitution. The merits of SCOTUS forcing the rule of law on Americans not in the Constitution is another blog post. Suffice it to say the atheist, Leftist and Muslim hypocrisy in using the unconstitutional phrase – Separation of Church and State – prevents the majority faith of Christianity appearing on the taxpayer dime; BUT NOT Islam.

Western Capitulation To Allah’s Islamic Terrorists: Bow Down – Or Else!!

Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

April 10, 2018

Adina Kutnicki Blog

THE whys and wherefores of the west’s capitulation to Allah’s Muslim Terrorists can fill book after book. Nevertheless, several factors are key and core. Resultant, in order to mitigate the fall-out and prostration, they must be understood and internalized.

SUFFICE to state:

Multiculturalism

  • In tandem, the leadership’s hatred of Judeo-Christian underpinnings bespeaks a “natural” alliance with Mohammedans, as they too abhor the west and its underlying ethos.

  • Atop said pyramid, western leaders (movers and shakers too) are in financial bed with Islamic regimes and their seventh-century thinking followers. In other words, greed is an overriding lure and pull.

ALL of which leads to capitulation, as opposed to the preservation of western culture and national security. Consequentially, it is not for nothing that the red-green alliance – totalitarians alike – agitates toward the disarming of the American people at all costs. Indeed, a disarmed populace is a submissive one.

American Students Indoctrinated by Islam

THAT being established, it is hardly a secret that America’s kiddies are being schooled to bow down to Islam. Of this there is no doubt. In fact, the following excerpts (ala Nov. 21, 2015, in concert with countless others at this site) attest to the same:

5 Pillars of Islam U.S. Classroom

In order to fully comprehend the pernicious Islamic indoctrination of America’s kiddies, some basic truths must become self-evident. Second skin……

Parents at a California middle school are demanding to know why a teacher had students sing an Islamic “fight song.”

A seventh-grade teacher at Spring View Middle School in Huntington Beach, California, deviated from the district’s official curriculum and had students sing “This Is My Fight Song.” Parent and grandparent Nichole Negron and Susan Negron told KCAL 9 Los Angeles their seventh grader was told to participate in the activity.

“I believe that by singing the song, the children feel comfortable that maybe Allahu is the only god and maybe that they should start following him,” Susan Negron told the network Tuesday. “I’m not OK with that.”

Song Controversy Huntington Beach CA

The women only found out about the activity by accident when Negron’s son brought a pamphlet with lyrics home. “How can we as parents combat against what we don’t know is going on?” the mother asked.

The two women went to the Ocean View school board on Tuesday night looking for answers. The teacher allegedly wanted students to learn about Islam through a “catchy” tune. (Begs the question, why should students be forced to learn about death cult posing as a religion in public school?)

The lyrics to “This Is My Fight Song” go as follows:

VIDEO: TV AD ENCOURAGES GERMAN WOMEN TO WEAR HIJABS [Alex Jones makes a buck – last 3 or 4 minutes is an ad]

Country gives up on integrating Muslim migrants, chooses to submit to Islam instead.

SO with the above in mind, it follows that European leaders (regardless of locale), ignominiously, are succumbing and bowing down to the dictates of Islam’s barbarians!

“On Monday, (March 26, 2018) BILD reported on religious bullying in the schoolyard and in the classroom. Berlin mayor Michael Müller (SPD) said in the “Tagesspiegel” [another German newspaper] that it “was hopefully only an isolated case”. Unfortunately, no! (…)

“BILD reported to [sic] parents from all over Germany, who reported [sic] full of anger and bewilderment of their own experiences. Out of fear for their children, they did not want to be named.”

A parent talked about her daughter, who was bullied by Muslim girls:

“The reasons: She has blond hair, no headscarf, has a German-Hebrew name – and we are Christians! My daughter broke down nervously in fifth grade. She had cramps and massive fear of going to school. She was beaten and verbally attacked on the way to school. The Headmaster said only: ‘Your daughter does not have to say that she is German. Besides, you can give her a headscarf! ‘We’ve changed schools now and luckily things are going better now.”

A Muslim school would force girls to wear hijabs.

And this German-Christian headmaster — well, that’s his solution, too.

Bild also reports that:

“Schoolgirls were bullied for eating ‘impure’ Gummy Bears. The sweets contain pork gelatin.”

There’s more, as I’ll tell you tonight.

Why is any of this surprising?

This is the culture that has been imported to Germany, en masse. Two million Muslims brought in, with no vetting, no cultural fit.

Have you read the Koran? Have you read its views on infidels?

Do you think this sort of thing is happening here in Canada?

Well, we know it is, because we’ve told you about it already.

By the year 2023, do you doubt that there will be schools in Canada where Christian and Jewish and Hindu and Sikh girls are being bullied by Muslim girls — and even liberal Muslim girls are being bullied too — and the principal’s advice will be, well, just put on a hijab, and stop eating pork, and the bullying will stop?

I don’t just think it’s a possibility.

I think it’s a certainty…

NOW, isn’t it obvious why Mohammedans are so self-assured, particularly, in their ability to bow and cow non-Muslims to their dictates, and in whichever western country Islam invades? This is so, regardless of their status – be they so-called refugees, migrants, or native-born. No doubt.

VIDEO: Is Europe in Denial About the Islamist Threat?

Posted by Clarion Project

Published on Jan 13, 2015

In light of the Charlie Hebdo Massacre, we reflect on how violence and extremism has been gathering momentum in Europe throughout the years. The UK, France, Holland and many other European countries are suffering a tide of Islamic extremism unprecedented in living memory. Is Europe’s culture and way of life in danger? Will the governments wake up and act or continue to bury their heads in the sand, living in denial? Clarions Project’s film, The Third Jihad, predicted this tide of violence and extremism now gathering momentum as seen in France, the UK, Holland and across all of Europe.

CONCLUSIVELY, as evidenced (and excerpted) within a recent intel report, “Trends/Adaptations In Jihadi Tactics: Intel Overview“, it is more than clear that Islam is incompatible with western civilization. Full stop.

  • Consider: The first Surah (Chapter), Al-Fatimah, is invoked 17! times a day, and its supplication to Allah includes:“The path of those You (Allah) bestowed favors upon, not those who have incurred your wrath and those who deviated.” Now, every devoted Muslim – once they reach the age of understanding – is indoctrinated into the imperative from this repetitious Surah: Jews and Christians have angered Allah, therefore, they must be killed. Even more so, Jews are a “special” target, for Allah turned them into monkeys and pigs! This admonition can be found in Suras 2:65, 5:60, and 7:166. Indeed, know thy Koran well. Besides, it will clear through the smoke and mirrors. By extrapolation, is it any wonder that Muhammedans keep attacking “infidels” – and with no end in sight??

MOST significantly, hide nor hair…hue nor cry…is heard from western leaders, each time Allah’s Muslim Terrorists persecute and murder infidels around the world! How can this be?

In short, the overwhelming majority of persecution that these 215 million Christians experience around the world — especially the worst forms, such as rape and murder — occurs at the hands of Muslims.

If time is on the side of Christians living under Communist regimes, it is not on the side of Christians living under Islam. The center of the great Christian Byzantine Empire is now an increasingly intolerant, rapidly Islamizing Turkey. Carthage, once a bastion of Christianity — where one of Christendom’s greatest theologians, St. Augustine, was born and where the New Testament canon was confirmed in 397 — is today 99% Muslim-majority Tunisia…..read on…if you dare….

OMINOUSLY, even in terms of capitulation, the presumption is that Mohammedans will allow so-called infidels to survive. In reality, this is absolutely not the case. Inestimably, it is Islam’s inextricable relationship and nexus to blood that must be understood. To wit, Islam, Sharia Law, must be banned and eliminated from the west – or else!

YES, Islam & Blood!

INDEED, history will not be kind to those who dared to squander the west’s hard-fought freedoms. Moreover, record after record will abound and define this moment in time as one of abject capitulation. National suicide will become its reviled descriptor and watchword – that is, if an immediate volte face isn’t executed.

GUARANTEED!

VIDEO: ‘My Secret Life in the CIA’: Undercover in The War On Terror

Published on Mar 8, 2018

WASHINGTON — Michele Rigby Assad is a former undercover officer in the National Clandestine Service of the U.S Central Intelligence Agency.

She trained as a counterterrorism specialist and served her country for 10 years, working in Iraq and other secret Middle Eastern locations.

So what is it like to be face-to-face with terrorists who want to kill you?

Assad said, “It is fascinating. The best school in terrorism is being in front of these guys like that. We are allowed to say me and my husband served in Baghdad for a year. We got to really interact with those sources and really got to know what they were thinking. What made them tick, which is fascinating because if they met you on the street they would prefer to cut you head off instead of actually deal with you.”

Overcoming Hurdles to Gain Trust

Assad told CBN News a major hurdle she had to overcome was being a woman anad gaining their trust.

“For them, I was the opposite of what they came to meet with. I had to really work at establishing a relationship with them, where they would see me as intelligent and knowledgeable of the Arab world,” she said. “Because in their minds, I should be at home managing a family. I shouldn’t even leave the home without a male minder and I should be covered in black. I was a complete anomaly to these guys.”

In her book, Breaking Cover: My Secret Life in the CIA and What It Taught Me About What’s Worth Fighting For, Assad explains that becoming a CIA agent was the last thing on her mind, and didn’t even know her eventual role even existed.

9/11 Changes Everything

On September 11, 2001, she and her husband knew God had them on the right path.

“Here were two committed Christians, pre-positioned to enter the war on terror from the very beginning. Who knew but God?” Assad said.

Upon retirement from active service, Michele and her husband, Joseph – who is also a former agent – began leading teams to aid Christian refugees, including a rescue mission to Iraq.

“Miraculously, even though the evacuation almost fell apart on numerous occasions, on December 10, 2015 we successfully airlifted 149 Iraqi Christians out of northern Iraq to their new homes in Slovakia,” Assad told us.

Assad hopes people who read her book gain a greater understanding of her faith and belief in Jesus Christ, and why they should never give up on reaching for their goals.

How Can Ordinary People Stay Safe?

With all of her training from the CIA on how to read people, CBN News asked the Assad what ordinary people can do to stay safe.

She said no one can be on alert all the time. But when you’re in a popular place, like Times Square in New York or a busy shopping mall, recognize these are vulnerable areas and really open your eyes and pay attention to who is around you.

Assad said people can train themselves to spot things that don’t look right.

She says when you do see something unusual, have the courage to speak up and tell somebody.

Assad says local, state and federal authorities cannot do it alone.

ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhawa [alternate spelling: Pakhtunkhwa] (KPK) province in Pakistan has sealed at least six Churches in district Abbottabad in the name of security after the United States placed Pakistan name in the Special Watch List. The officials claimed that only non-registered churches are closed. On the other hand, the KP govt. has announced monthly honorarium for 20, 000 Muslim clerics in the province.

According to the details the district administration at Abbottabad has officially ordered to close as many as six churches in the name of security and said the churches being established in the rental houses and non-registered are closed due to security risk. The District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Ashfaq said in his official statement that those churches have been sealed which had not been registered with the Auqaf Department.

According to 27th Convention of the United Nations, Pakistan is liable to take steps for the safety, protection of minorities and women rights and religious freedom in the country. And on January 04, 2018, the US placed Pakistan name in the list of those countries which are alleged violating minorities rights and religious freedom. Being on the Watch List means Pakistan is a step away from included in the “Countries of Particular Concern” list. The list includes “governments that have engaged in or tolerated systematic, ongoing and egregious violations of religious freedom.”

In the meantime, on January 8, 2018, KP govt. proved it that religious minorities are not free to perform their religious services at their homes and even cannot worship in the rental houses they live in. To a rough estimate more than 10000 Christians live in and around Hazara Division and 5000 in Abbottabad district. And many of them are bared to perform their ceremonial and routine religious services.

Meanwhile, the Christian community across the country have termed the move as unjustified. Father Arshad Nayer, the local priest from Roman Catholic denomination said, “it would give a bad message if the government continued to seal worship places of religious minorities over minor issues.” Instead of providing security to the said churches the administration is on to close them, and it is violation of religious freedom. The poor Christians do not have enough resources to construct independent new church buildings, he added.

Pastor Christopher Shakar, one victim [of a closed Church – perhaps], said that his father Akram Shakar has started the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church (EPC) in 1985, and now he has taken this responsibility for seven years. On the celebration of the Christmas, the district administration has interrupted during the sermon and asked to close the service. This is violation of religious freedom given in the constitution of country. Another church, Assemblies of God has been established some 50 years back and now Pastor in charge Saleem Ghori is running it in his own house is also closed under the said so called security risk.

Chairman Community Development Foundation (CDF) Basharat Khokher strongly condemned the move by the KP govt. and termed it prejudicial behavior toward religious minorities in Pakistan. Talking on religious freedom, he said that the step taken by KP govt. is discriminatory and biased; the KP government is paying billions of rupees to Muslim clerics in the province and shutting down Christian worship places. From this move, it clearly shows that there is no religious freedom in the country and government imposed restriction and tries to snub the rights of minorities.

When asked Shireen Mazari, a senior Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) leader and member parliament, she said PTI is very clear in giving rights to minorities and not in the favor of closing any worship places. PTI central secretariat has sought written reply from CM KP Parvez Khattak on the matter of closure of 6 churches in Abbottabad district. The CM has been asked to explain the causes and motives leading to closure of churches. In a statement chairman PTI Imran Khan said that all the minorities enjoy full freedom of religion under the constitution of Pakistan. He said the PTI believes in full freedom of minorities, adding that such steps by the provincial government create a negative impression in the international community.
