A Recognition of Reality

VIDEO: Trump Recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital

Justin Smith writes about the obvious fact that Leftists and Muslim apologists have been in denial for decades. Namely, that Jerusalem is the Capital city of the Jewish State of Israel. Whiners cry recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital city will harm or end the peace process. Just as Justin Smith correctly points out, “What peace process?

Israel has bent over backwards for decades to allow a sovereign Palestinian State – even though undeserved. The so-called Palestinian leadership has torpedoed every too generous Israeli offer. They refuse to recognize Israel as a Jewish State while unofficially (except Hamas which officially) wants to the total destruction of Israel and the death of its Jewish citizens (See Also HERE).

A Recognition of Reality

A Historical Injustice Corrected

By Justin O. Smith

Sent: 12/9/2017 2:15 PM (updated 12/11/17)

Jerusalem is the undivided capital of Israel, according to President Donald Trump, who declared it so on December 6th 2017, rewarding our close ally Israel and correcting a historical injustice, although any sane person already understood this fact and the historical record removes all doubt. President Trump’s declaration sounded the death knell on the seven decades long world delusion that Muslims and the ideology of Islam somehow have any claim to any part of Jerusalem, which is a critical component of the mythical “palestinians’” simple ploy to undermine and ultimately destroy Israel, a sovereign Jewish state in the middle of the Islamic world, which is viewed in their eyes as an insult to Islam.

Along with this declaration, President Trump announced the plan to move the U.S. Embassy, from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem over the next few years, to ultimately fulfill the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Relocation Act, signed by President Bill Clinton, which originally called for this to be completed by 1999. A waiver signed by President Trump has delayed the move for six months, until a review can present an efficient and viable plan for the move.

President Trump was cautioned against this move, by Defense Secretary James Mattis and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who feared it would enrage the Islamic world. While it did result in an immediate blowback, President Trump is convinced that this will aid the peace process in the long term; and even if this is not the case, God will bless him and America for his courageous and righteous decision.

Representative John Culberson (R-TX) told ‘The Hill’: “America should never change our foreign policy based on an assumption that we’re going to offend a group of Islamic radicals. America should always do the right thing and stand by our allies, and America has no stronger ally on earth than the people of Israel.”

Justifying his decision, President Trump mentioned the Parliament, Supreme Court and the prime minister’s home in West Jerusalem, as locations within the Old City, including Al Aqsa mosque. A bright, glaring focal point, he made no mention of any Palestinian rights to East Jerusalem.

Today, the Jewish Temple Mount is the third holiest site in Islam, behind Saudi Arabia’s Mecca and Medina. Muslims believe once they claim a piece of land, it belongs to Islam forever.

However, there has never been a “Palestinian” state with Jerusalem as its capital, or a palestinian language or culture. There was not any such thing as a “palestinian” people, prior to 1948. They were ethnic Arabs and Muslims, who created the myth as a political tool to use against an unwanted Jewish state in their midst.

For the past three thousand years, since 1000 B.C., there has been an uninterrupted Jewish presence in the city of Jerusalem, which is the religious and cultural home for the Jewish people and their historic capital. Jews, wherever they are in the world, face Jerusalem when they pray, and each year at Passover, their hopeful prayer is recited, “Next year in Jerusalem”.

The Bible mentions the City of David, Jerusalem, more than 600 times, and Jerusalem is mentioned hundreds of times in the Prophets (Nevi’im) and Writings (Ketuvim). The Psalms 137:5 state, “If I forget thee Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill“. Out of all the cities in the world, the Bible only calls on us to pray for the welfare of Jerusalem, but not once is Jerusalem mentioned in the Koran.

In Mohammed’s lifetime, Jerusalem was an unimportant city in the Byzantine Empire and a Christian city without a single mosque. The Al Aqsa mosque is a conquest mosque [Tov Rose & CBN] built atop the ruins of the Church of Saint Mary of Justinian. And, although Islamic tradition says Mohammed ascended into Heaven from Al Aqsa mosque, there is no record of Mohammed having ever been to Jerusalem.

President Trump rightfully noted: “This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality. It is also the right thing to do. It’s something that has to be done.”

Many professional “peace experts” contend that President Trump’s capital idea will kill any chance for a negotiated settlement between the Palestinians and Israel. Palestinian Authority president-for-life Mahmoud Abbas, an old terrorist himself, characterized the move as America’s “declaration of withdrawal” from the “peace process”.

What peace process?

For nearly a decade, Abbas has refused to engage in direct talks, despite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s open invitation, but no negotiation is better than the bad faith negotiations of the Palestinians. In 1993, under Yasser Arafat, they accepted extremely generous deals in the Oslo Accords and right away committed wave after wave of terrorist attacks, in an effort to force more concessions from Israel and the West.

And now, President Trump has sent the unmistakable message that murder will not be rewarded. No longer will violence over Jerusalem be tolerated.

Calls for Muslims to engage in “three days of rage” immediately sounded over mosque loudspeakers in Gaza, and hundreds moved on the Israeli border, after Trump’s speech, throwing stones and chanting, “We don’t need empty words, we need stones and Kalasnikovs”, while other clashes broke out in Hebron and Bethlehem. Thirty-one Palestinians were wounded on Thursday, and Friday after prayers was like all other Fridays, with the usual protests and anger.

The Palestinians don’t want to peacefully coexist beside Israel, in a two-state solution. They seek a one state solution and an Islamic State that exists in the place of Israel, and they cling to their fantasy of eradicating the Jewish state. To achieve this, they have created a campaign to revise history, and they attempt to erase the undeniable Jewish connection and birthright to Jerusalem.

Reprehensibly, on May 2nd of this year, near Israel’s Independence Day, the U.N.’s cultural body, UNESCO, passed a series of resolutions that stated Israel hasn’t any legal or historical rights anywhere in Jerusalem. Largely comprised of an anti-Israel majority, the votes against the resolution came from the U.S., U.K., Italy, Germany, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Greece, Paraguay and Togo.

In the moments after the vote passed, Israel’s ambassador to UNESCO, Carmel Shama-Hacohen, draped in a large Israeli flag, addressed the meeting: “Even now, after this miserable vote, this blue and white flag is flying high above the Temple Mount and throughout Israel’s eternal capital city, Jerusalem, waving in the wind, saying to all ‘here we are, and we are here to stay'”.

Denying reality is how this game has long been played. For seventy years the world has pretended that Jerusalem wasn’t the capital of Israel. We even witnessed the U.N. become the poster child for the absurd, when it declared East Jerusalem “occupied territory”, on December 23rd 2016, because of President Obama’s anti-Israel sentiment. This advanced the insane and ignoble fantasy that, as a matter of international law, the Western Wall, and the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem too, really belongs to the Palestinians. President Donald Trump just put an end to their game, with his acknowledgement of fact and his brave act and moral courage.

British Mandate for Palestine League of Nation Award 1920

Ted Belman proposes a concept of a Two-State Solution for Israel and non-people Palestinians. The proposal is actually closer to a One-State Solution, but you decide.

Belman takes his cue from the Jordanian political opposition Jordan’s Hashemite Monarch King Abdullah II. Those that oppose their king are known as Jordanian Opposition Coalition (JOC) [SEE ALSO HERE]. The JOC suggests that the people who call themselves Palestinians should abandon their Islamic terrorist leadership and move to Jordan. Jordan would then take on the aegis as the Arab State originally set up by the League of Nations way back when Britain was given the Mandate for Palestine back in 1922. [This should be of interest to the formation of the British Mandate for Palestine leading to the British shaft of Jews, creation of modern Israel and Arab hatred of Jewish Israel: HERE, HERE, HERE AND HERE.

The thing that Ted Belman and the JOC don’t specifically bring up is that it is unlikely that Jordan’s King Abdullah II is unlikely to allow non-Hashemite supporting Arabs into his nation without a fight. Keep in mind that in the 1970s the PLO’s Yasser Arafat tried to dethrone Abdullah II’s father King Hussein in a civil war that the loyal Jordanian army won and gave Arafat and his PLO Islamic terrorists the boot.

The Ultimate Alternate Israel-Palestine Solution

By Ted Belman

ISRAPUNDIT

With a new U.S. president, new ideas are emerging on how to resolve the Israel-Palestine debacle. One of the most promising comes from Jordanian Opposition Council who favor a new Palestinian state — in Jordan.

The GOP unanimously approved a pro-Israel platform at their convention in July 2016 which stipulated:

“The U.S. seeks to assist in the establishment of comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East, to be negotiated among those living in the region,”

David Friedman and Jason Greenberg, representing Donald Trump, participated in the drafting and were in complete agreement with the final text.

Gone was any reference to the Palestinian people or to a two-state solution. In addition, the platform included the words “We reject the false notion that Israel is an occupier.” If not an “occupier,” then presumably Israel is a sovereign.

Accordingly, the search is on for an alternate solution. Such a solution could take inspiration from the short-lived Feisal/Weizmann Agreement of 1919. The essence of this agreement was that Palestine as it then was, was to be divided into two states, one for the Arabs and one for the Jews. Chaim Weizmann on behalf of the Jews agreed to help develop the Arab state and King Feisal agreed to welcome Jewish settlement in the Jewish state and favored friendly cooperative relations.

Although the British didn’t breathe life into this agreement, they did separate Trans-Jordan from Palestine in 1922 with the Jordan River being the boundary between them. Trans-Jordan (Jordan) thus got 78% of the lands promised to the Jews. The remaining 22% consisting of the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean was to be the Jewish state. This was enshrined in the Palestine Mandate signed by the League of Nations in 1922.

On June 30, 1922, a joint resolution of both Houses of Congress of the United States unanimously endorsed the “Mandate for Palestine,” confirming the irrevocable right of Jews to settle in Palestine—anywhere between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.

With respect to the Arabs living in Jewish Palestine, the Congressional Record contained the following:

“(2) That if they will not consent to Jewish government and domination, they shall be required to sell their lands at a just valuation and retire into the Arab territory which has been assigned to them by the League of Nations in the general reconstruction of the countries of the east.

“(3) That if they will not consent to Jewish government and domination, under conditions of right and justice, or to sell their lands at a just valuation and to retire into their own countries, they shall be driven from Palestine by force.” [Blog Editor: Bold Emphasis Mine]

The US was not a member of the League of Nations at this time. In order to be able to protect American interests in Palestine, she entered into the 1924 Anglo-American Convention in which the U.S. bound itself to the terms of the Mandate. This of course meant the recognition of Jewish right to close settlement of Palestine and that all of Palestine was to be the Jewish homeland.

Since then, there were a number of unsuccessful attempts, contrary to the terms of the Mandate, to further divide Jewish Palestine into two states.  UN General Assembly Resolution 181, passed in 1947, recommended partition, but was rejected by the Arabs. The Jews on the other hand took advantage of it and declared their independence in 1948. Israel owes its independence to that declaration and not to Resolution 181, which was only a recommendation, precipitating the move.

Nothing has happened of any legal consequence since, to cancel the right of the Jews to settle and be sovereign over all the land to the Jordan River.

To date, Israel has been reluctant to claim sovereignty over these lands as the Arabs living there would then demand citizenship resulting in a binational state. This is unacceptable to most Israelis. They also reject the two-state solution.

So what is the alternative?

Consider for a moment, that if Jordan agrees to grant citizenship to all Palestinians, as their law currently provides, and invites the return of all of them to live and work in Jordan, the conflict would soon be ended. While King Abdullah isn’t about to do so, the Jordan Opposition Coalition (JOC) would. This coalition represents all opposition groups in Jordan that back a secular state. The JOC since its creation six years ago has supported good relations with Israel. It does not include groups that support terrorism. This alliance has agreed to work together in order to form the government of Jordan should King Abdullah abdicate. Although at least 75% of Jordanians are Palestinians, the King has disenfranchised them to a great extent in favor of the ethnic Hashemites and Bedouins.

The JOC has produced a detailed plan, Operation “Jordan in Palestine,” which clearly identifies their goals and the operational steps needed to implement their plan.  Copies are available upon request.

All that is necessary for this to come to pass is for the U.S. to instruct the king, who currently spends most of his time outside Jordan, to not return home. Then it would arrange for the Jordanian army, which it controls, to support the next popular Palestinian uprising, and to designate who among them would form the interim government.

The JOC, puts it this way:

“This plan seeks to execute a feasible two-state solution where Jordan is the natural homeland for all Palestinians, and Israel becomes sovereign over all soil west to the River Jordan. This could only happen if the corrupt, terror-supporting and double-speaking Hashemite royal family leaves Jordan. The Palestinians often revolt against the regime but the king’s police force puts them down. The American media ignore this solution to the unrest in Jordan.

“What is needed is for the U.S. to influence the Jordanian army and security agency to stand with the revolution the next time it breaks out.  The security agencies and army are already securing the country without any influence from the king who is mostly abroad.  Under these conditions, the king would not return.  Once that happens an interim government of secular Palestinians who want peace with Israel could be appointed.

“Once the interim government is installed, it will strengthen the economy by stopping theft of government money and ending corruption. It will fully enfranchise the Palestinians. All Palestinians around the world would be welcomed to return to Jordan pursuant the current Jordanian citizenship act, which already recognizes all Palestinians as citizens of Jordan. Many Palestinians will emigrate to Jordan in part because many have family members and friends living in Jordan. Work opportunities as well as a rewarding benefits/welfare system will be made available to them by the new interim government as further inducement.”

Israel, with many international partners, including the U.S., could finance the building of a new Jordanian city of 1 million people. This would greatly stimulate the Jordanian economy and would provide work for the returning Palestinians. The new homes could be made available to the returnees and locals at subsidized prices further incentivizing people to return. The ending of King Abdullah’s discrimination against Palestinians living in Jordan, would also contribute to making Jordan a desired immigration destination.

Michael Ross, a Republican, wrote after the election of Donald Trump, “Trump Must  Speak to Mudar Zahran” because Zahran offers the alternate solution that Pres Trump is looking for.

As part of this solution, all Palestinian refugees enrolled with UN Relief And Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East could be repatriated to Jordan and given citizenship. Thus UNRWA could be wound up and the current UNRWA funding could be transferred to Jordan to assist in the resettlement.

According to Moshe Feiglin, the head of the Zehut Party in Israel, the Oslo Accords have cost Israel over 1 trillion shekels since they were signed. In addition, Israel has borne the cost of three military campaigns in Gaza. Finally, Israel supplies to the Palestinians their energy, water and sewage treatment for free or at greatly subsidized prices.

Last summer, Moshe Feiglin proposed a Solution in which Israel extends Israeli law from the Mediterranean to the Jordan:

“We will give the Arab population in those territories three options: The first is voluntary emigration with the aid of a generous emigration grant. The second is permanent residency, similar to the “Green Card” status in the US – not like what is currently the practice in East Jerusalem. This status will be offered to those Arabs who publicly declare their loyalty to the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish Nation. We will safeguard their human rights and will not do anything like we did to ourselves in Gush Katif. The third option will be reserved for relatively few Arabs, and only in accordance with Israeli interests. Those who tie their fate to the fate of the Jewish Nation, like the Druze, can enter a long-term process of attaining citizenship.”

Recently, Feiglin’s Party, Zehut, published The Diplomatic Plan.

Martin Sherman has published his plan which he calls the “Humanitarian Solution” as opposed to a strictly political solution. He summarized all his writings in support of such a plan and published them here.

With an estimated $300,000 per family grant, both he and Feiglin have estimated that incentivized compensated emigration will cost Israel over $200 billion USD but both argue it is feasible and worth doing.

The repatriation of Palestinians to Jordan, as proposed by JOC, would greatly facilitate the Palestinian emigration and greatly reduce the grants needed to incentivize it. UNRWA and the Palestinian Authority would both be wound up.

1.75 million Palestinians live in Judea and Samaria (West Bank). They should be induced to emigrate to Jordan.  The same goes for all Palestinian refugees living in Lebanon, Syria and elsewhere.

Considering the subsidies that the West provides to UNRWA, Gaza and the PA, this would be a bargain. Given that JOC has tied its fate to Israel, Israel would be happy to contribute to such a solution as the present conflict costs her hundreds of millions of dollars annually.

Currently the US gives $370 million to UNRWA, $300 million to the Palestinian Authority (PA) and $… to Jordan. The EU gives ….  These monies could be redirected to Jordan to kick start this repatriation.  Others, including Israel could contribute. In time, the US and EU subsidies could be phased out.

It really is that simple.  There is much more that can be said in support of it.

Prof. Hillel Frisch, a senior research associate at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies and Yitzhak Sokoloff, a fellow of the Ingeborg Rennert Center for Jerusalem Studies at Bar-Ilan University recently wrote Trump and the Jordanian Option.

“The inauguration of an American administration uncommitted to the principle of an independent Palestinian state provides Israel with the opportunity to advocate a long-term strategic vision of building up a prosperous Jordan that could provide an alternative to the model of a two-state solution based on the Palestinian Authority.”

They are wrong to suggest that this can be done with King Abdullah. I believe, as does the JOC, that the king is part of the problem and must be replaced by Palestinians.

Gideon Saar, a touted future Prime Minister of Israel, in his recent article, Goodbye Two-State Solution, wrote:

“A Jordanian-Palestinian federative solution would offer the Palestinians space in addition to their autonomy. We could also consider adopting a joint Israeli-Jordanian-Palestinian economic framework. And there are many other ideas that could be constructed as a result of quiet, serious work with the backing of a supportive US administration.”

He is right but the ultimate alternate solution is the one put forward by the JOC.

If anyone wants more information or can help this solution get traction, please write me (tbelman3@gmail.com).

NOTE:

After publishing this article, I heard from a reader who had done considerable work on a plan of his own similar to the Jordan Option described above.  I spent many hours with him discussing his research. We also met with a few movers and shakers in Israel.

Whereas I merely suggested the possibility of building a new Jordanian city to house one million people, he went further and researched a location for such a city and researched the cost of housing in Jordan.

According to his research, an 800 sq ft apartment in Jordan costs $40,000.  Thus if 2 million Palestinians in the West Bank, Jerusalem and the camps could be induced to move to Jordan, 400,000 homes (5 people per family) would be needed costing $16 billion; a far cry from the $200 Billion needed to induce emigration according to Feiglin and Sherman. These homes can be given to the Palestinians, free of charge.

Based on the enormous benefit caused by the plan to the Jordanian economy Abdullah can be convinced to invite all Palestinians to return to Jordan just as the JOC plans to do if they get into power.  Most people believe that Abdullah would never do it. But due to the poor Jordanian economy he could  be forced to do it

Prof Hillel Frisch, BESA, agrees. He recently wrote, Becoming Part of Jordan and Egypt: A Palestinian Economic Imperative which included this summary:

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Reintegrating into the Jordanian state is an economic imperative for the Arab inhabitants of the Palestinian Authority. Only by once again becoming citizens of Jordan will they be able to challenge the economic stone wall imposed by domestic Jordanian economic lobby groups barring West Bank exports. A two-state solution would lead, not to an economy of peace, but to an economy of violence as lobby groups in both Israel and Jordan shut out the Palestinian state’s exports. The Palestinian state would inevitably react by threatening and committing violence to extract the international aid to which the PA has become accustomed.

This reader also makes the novel suggestion that Israel can offer a water incentive to Jordan tied to the number of immigrants it absorbs. This would increase the water supply to Jordan and lower the cost per litre.  More on this later.

When presenting this plan to others, many mention that US Congressmen love King Abdulla. That may be so but they are ill informed. Recently Edy Cohen of BESA wrote Sorry but Jordan is not a friend?

Gaza and Egypt

Independent of this proposal or perhaps in tandem with it the same opportunity exists for helping all Gazans to emigrate to Egypt. There are approximately 1.5 million Gazans living in Gaza and the average family size is 6. Thus 250,000 apartments are required.

An 800 sq. ft. apartment in the new cities adjacent to Cairo that would accommodate 15 million people, costs about $16,000 USD: i.e, half the Jordan cost. This adds up to $4 billion USD.

Thus the Gazans would need only 10% of those homes. A 10 year plan would mean that 150,000 Gazans would emigrate there every year. This represents just 0.16% of the population of Egypt.1.5 million Gazans represent only 1.6% of the Egyptian population.

Other incentives might be pensions and welfare payments financed by the international community.

Considering how much it costs the EU and the US to support the current wave of migrants to their shores, this could well be a model for them to consider, i.e., a “Marshall Plan” for the Middle East as a means to get the migrants to stay where they are.

The obvious question is why would al Sisi agree to this, given how much trouble he is now having with Hamas that rules Gaza and is perceived as a threat to Egypt along with ISIS.

The obvious answer is that al Sisi needs help to meet its financial obligations and its security threats emanating from the Sinai and from Libya. The international community could provide that help.

Given that Saudi Arabia and other gulf states have started an initiative at Pres Trump’s urging, to stop the flow of funds to terrorists. They have severed relations with Qatar one of the biggest funders of terror demanding that it cease and desist. Specifically, they have demanded that Qatar stop funding Hamas.

Thus if Hamas is starved for money they will be less of a threat to Egypt too.

The reader above mentioned, is currently preparing a report in support of his Plan. It is 25 pages long and when completed in a few weeks will approach 35 pages. This Plan will make the case for why this is in the best interest of the US too.

Help Pseudo-Palestinians Emigrate

John R. Houk

It has always been my opinion that a Two-State Solution would NEVER be a harbinger for peace between Israel and the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. A Palestinian State would merely be a launching ground for Islamic terrorist attacks against Israel. The result would be Israeli military incursions to punish an independent Palestine for allowing the terrorist launching pads. Or an independent Palestine might have the hutzpah claim the terrorism is military incursions for whatever fake/false reason given.

The only raison d’être for a Palestinian State existence would be to end Israel’s existence and to kill Jews. Because of Muslim animus against Israel, a One-State Solution is the best solution.

The best One-State Solution is to find a way to move Jew-hating Muslims out of any area that is a part of ancient Jewish heritage.

Dr. Martin Sherman has written a two-part essay touching on the logistics and feasibility of an ethical fashion to aid Jew-hating Muslims to emigrate to another Arab-Muslim nation. I found out about Dr. Sherman’s from the Facebook Group “No Palestinian State!” (If you are a Pro-Israel kind of person you should go there and request to be a member and add to the discussion.)

INTO THE FRAY: The Humanitarian Paradigm – Answering FAQs (Part 2)

Sequel to the dispelling of doubts regarding the feasibility – and morality – of largescale, financially incentivized emigration as the only non-kinetic approach for resolution of the Israel-Palestinian impasse.

By Dr. Martin Sherman

June 9, 2017 06:48

Israel National News – Arutz Sheva 7

The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. -attributed to Winston Churchill

Readers will recall that last week I began a two part response to FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) relating to the practical feasibility/moral acceptability of my proposed Humanitarian Paradigm (HP), which prescribes, among other measures, large-scale financially incentivized emigration of the Palestinian-Arabs, living across the pre-1967 lines as the only route to attain long-term survivability for Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people.

To recap briefly

In last week’s column, I addressed the question of the overall cost of the funded emigration project, and showed that, given the political will to implement it, it would be eminently affordable – even if Israel had to shoulder the burden alone. If other industrial nations could be induced to participate, the total cost would be an imperceptible percentage of their GDP.

I then went on to demonstrate that there is ample evidence indicating a wide-spread desire in large sections of the Palestinian-Arab population to emigrate permanently in search of more secure and prosperous live elsewhere. This point was underscored by a recent Haaretz article, describing how thousands of Gazans had fled their home to Greece, undertaking perilous risk to extricate themselves from the harrowing hardships imposed on them by the ill-conceived endeavor to foist statehood on the Palestinian-Arabs.  Significantly, according to the Haaretz report, none of them blamed Israel for their plight—but rather the ruling Hamas-regime, which, it will be recalled, was elected by popular vote to replace the rival Fatah faction, ousted because of its corruption and poor governance.

Finally, I dealt with the question of the prospective host nations, pointing out that the funded Palestinian-Arab émigrés would not arrive as an uncontrolled deluge of destitute humanity, but as an orderly regulated stream of relatively affluent immigrants spread over about a decade-and-a-half, whose absorption would entail significant capital inflows for the host nation’s economy.  Moreover, given the fact that, globally, migrants total almost a quarter billion, Palestinian-Arab migration of several hundred thousand a year would comprise a small fraction of one percent of the overall number—hardly an inconceivable prospect.

Following this short summary of previously addressed FAQs, we can now move on to tackle several additional ones.

FAQ 4: Won’t fear of fratricide deter recipients?

One of the most commonly raised reservations as to the practical applicability of the HP is that potential recipients of the relocation/rehabilitation grants would be deterred from accepting them because of threats of retribution from their kin-folk who allegedly would view such action as perfidious betrayal of the Palestinian-Arabs’ national aspirations.

In contending with this question, it is necessary to distinguish between two possible scenarios, in which such internecine intimidation will be either a phenomenon whose scope is (a) limited; or (b) wide-spread and pervasive.

Clearly, if the former is true, it is unlikely to have any significant inhibiting impact on the conduct of prospective recipients of the relocation/rehabilitation grants.

If, however, the assumption is that the latter is the case, several points need to be made:

– If this objection to the HP is to have any credence, its proponents must present evidence (as opposed to unproven supposition) that potential violent opponents of the HP program have the ability not only to inflict harm on prospective recipients (as opposed to issuing empty threats), but that they can sustain such ability over time.

– In this regard, it should be kept in mind that implementation of the HP entails the disarming, dismantling and disbanding —if need be, coercively—of the ruling Palestinian regime, and reinstating Israeli governance over all territory under Palestinian-Arab control.

Inhibiting internecine intimidation

The HP is hardly unique with regard to this latter point. All other proffered policy alternatives for the failed, foolhardy two-state formula entail such measures—either by explicit stipulation, or implicit inference—since preserving the current Palestinian regime intact would clearly preclude their implementation.  Indeed, they are even endorsed by some pundits who do not discount the eventual emergence of a Palestinian state, such as Middle East Forum president, Daniel Pipes.

Clearly, the dispersal of the central Palestinian governing body, together with the defanging of its armed organs and the deployment of Israeli forces in their stead, will greatly curtail (although not entirely eliminate) the scope for internecine intimidation and the capacity to dissuade potential recipients of the relocation/rehabilitation grants from availing themselves of the funds.

In addition, Israel should task its own formidable military and intelligence services to protect prospective recipients of these grants by identifying, intervening and thwarting attempts to intimidate those seeking to enhance their lives by extricating themselves from the control of the disastrously dysfunctional regime under which they live.

Moreover, the international community should be called upon to cooperate with and participate in this principled endeavor to prevent fratricidal elements within Palestinian society from depriving their brethren of the opportunity of better, safer lives. After all, violence against Palestinian-Arabs, who choose to reside within any given host nation, would comprise an intolerable violation of that country’s national sovereignty.

Appalling indictment of “Palestinian” society?

Of course invoking the specter of large-scale fratricide as an impediment to the acceptance of the HP is an appalling indictment of Palestinian-Arab society.

After all, the inescapable implication of such an objection to the HP’s practical applicability is that its acceptance by otherwise willing recipients, wishing to avail themselves of opportunity to seek security and prosperity elsewhere, can only be impeded by violent extortion of their kin-folk.

Accordingly, if the concern over large-scale fratricide is serious, it is in fact, at once, both the strongest argument in favor of the HP and against the establishment of a Palestinian state.  After all, two unavoidable conclusions necessarily flow from it: (a) any predicted reluctance to accept the relocation/rehabilitating grants would not be a reflection of the free will of Palestinian-Arabs, but rather a coerced outcome that came about despite the fact that it is not; (b) Similarly, the endeavor for a Palestinian state is not one that manifests any authentic desire of the “Palestinian people” but rather one imposed on them, despite the fact that it does not.

As a result, any Palestinian-Arab state established under the pervasive threat of lethal retribution against any dissenter will not be an expression of genuine national aspirations but of extortion and coercion of large segments of Palestinian-Arab society, who would otherwise opt for an alternative outcome.

In summation then, if the fear of fratricide can be shown to be a tangible threat, it should not be considered a reason to abandon the HP formula. Quite the opposite! It should be considered an unacceptable phenomenon to be resolutely suppressed –by both Israel and the international community—in order to permit the Palestinian-Arab public the freedom of choice to determine their future.

FAQ 5: Would funded emigration not be considered unethical “ethnic cleansing”?

I have addressed the question of the moral merits of the HP extensively elsewhere (see “Palestine”: Who Has Moral High Ground?), where I demonstrate that the HP blueprint will be the most humane of all options if it succeeds, and the least inhumane if it does not.

I shall therefore refrain from repeating much of the arguments presented previously and focus on one crucial issue: The comparative moral merits of the widely endorsed two-state paradigm (TSS) and those of my proposed Humanitarian Paradigm (HP).

Since there is very little doubt (or dispute) as to the domestic nature of any prospective Palestinian state, anyone seeking to disqualify the HP because of its alleged moral shortcomings must be forced to contend with the following question: Who has the moral high-ground?

(a) The TSS-proponents, who advocate establishing (yet another) homophobic, misogynistic Muslim-majority tyranny, whose hallmarks would be: gender discrimination, gay persecution, religious intolerance, and political oppression of dissidents? ; or

(b) The HP-proponents who advocate providing non-belligerent Palestinian individuals with the opportunity of building a better life for themselves elsewhere, out of harm’s way, free from the recurring cycles of death, destruction and destitution, brought down on them by the cruel, corrupt cliques that have led them astray for decades.

Furthermore, TSS advocates should be compelled to clarify why they consider it morally acceptable to offer financial inducements to Jews in Judea-Samaria to evacuate their homes to facilitate the establishment of said homophobic, misogynistic tyranny, which, almost certainly, will become a bastion for Islamist terror; yet they consider it morally reprehensible to offer financial inducements to Arabs in Judea-Samaria to evacuate their homes to prevent the establishment of such an entity?

FAQ 6: What about those who remain?

This is, of course, a serious question and a detailed response would depend on, among other things, the size of the residual Palestinian-Arab population who refuse any material compensation as an inducement to emigrate.

The acuteness of the problem would undoubtedly be a function of its scale. Clearly, the smaller this residual population, the less pressing the need will be to deal with it. For example it seems plausible that if, say, only a hundred thousand Palestinians remain, consideration may well be given to the possibility of offering them Israeli citizenship – subject to stringent security vetting and sworn acceptance of Jewish sovereignty as the sole legitimate source of authority in the land – without endangering the Jewish character of the country.

However, it should be remembered that, unlike the two-state approach which advocates perilous concessions, and the one-state prescription which calls for incorporating the Palestinian-Arabs resident across the pre-1967 lines into Israel’s permanent population, the HP does not involve any cataclysmic irreversible measures.

At the heart of the HP program is a comprehensive system of material inducements to foster Palestinian emigration, which includes generous incentives for leaving and harsh disincentives for staying. As detailed elsewhere, such incentives would entail substantial monetary grants, up to 100 years GDP per capita per family in Palestinian terms; while the latter entail phased withdrawal of services (including provision of water, electricity, fuel, port facilities and so on) that Israel currently provides to the Palestinian-Arabs across the pre-1967 lines.

Accordingly, should it be found that the initial proposed inducements are ineffective, the former can be made more enticing, and/or the latter more daunting, until the proffered package is acceptable.

Seen in this context, it is difficult to envisage that many non-belligerent Palestinian-Arabs would prefer to endure the rigors of discontinued provision of services rather than avail themselves of the generous relocation/rehabilitation funds—especially given the dispersal of the Palestinian regime as an alternative source of such services.

FAQ 7 What if the same kind of offer were made to induce Jewish emigration?

In addressing this question several points should be borne in mind:

The offer would clearly not be made by an Israeli government. After all, the HP is intended as a measure to: (a) Ensure – not undermine – the survival of Israel as the nation-state of the Jews, and (b) Relieve the genuine humanitarian predicament of the Palestinian-Arabs—precipitated by the dysfunctional administration they have been subjected to since the 1993 Oslo process—not Jewish disgruntlement with the imperfect functioning of the Israeli government.

Of course, it would be impossible to prevent Arab elements from offering Jews financial inducement to emigrate from Israel, but in this regard it should be recalled that: (a) As a sovereign nation Israel can control the financial flows into the country and impede money from hostile sources reaching Israeli citizens, considerably complicating the transfer and receipt of funds. (b) Arab governments have been singularly reticent in providing large sums  to advance the “Palestinian cause” and there is little chance (or evidence) that they would advance the hundreds of billions required to finance large scale Jewish emigration;  (c) The overwhelming majority of Israelis enjoy living standards of an advanced post-industrial nation with a GDP per capita around 20 times higher than that in the Palestinian-administered territories; (d) Accordingly, it would be commensurately more difficult to tempt them to leave. Indeed, sums offered would have to be considerably higher to create a comparable incentive, running into millions rather than hundreds of thousands per family. (e) Moreover, a slew of recent polls show the large majority of Israelis are satisfied with their lives – thus the prospect of material incentives to induce large-scale emigration seems remote.

Urgent Zionist imperative.

The HP is the only Zionist-compliant policy prescription that can save Israel from the perilous dangers of the two-state formula and the specter of Lebanonization/Balkanization inherent in other proffered alternatives. Embarking on its implementation is a Zionist imperative that is both urgent and feasible.

The Ultimate Alternate Israel-Palestine Solution

Ted Belman has a solution for the Israel/(fake)Palestine conflict that I find appealing. However, it’s solution that the Arabs pretending to non-existent Palestinians and the Jordanian royal family will not jump on board.

Belman joins the Jordan Opposition Coalition (JOC) to propose allowing Arab Palestinians to emigrate to Jordan with full citizenship making Jordan a Palestinian homeland and eliminate the governance of the Hashemite Royal Family (Wikipedia [neutral], Family Security Matters [hostile], Correct Islamic Faith International Association [or CIFIA – Conspiracy]) and HistoryFile.co.uk [Favorable History]  that purports a family tree traced back to pseudo-prophet Muhammad.

The Ultimate Alternate Israel-Palestine Solution

By Ted Belman

April 1, 2017 1:15 am ET

Israpundit

With a new U.S. president, new ideas are emerging on how to resolve the Israel-Palestine debacle. One of the most promising comes from the Jordanian Opposition Council who favor a new Palestinian state — in Jordan.

The GOP unanimously approved a pro-Israel platform at their convention in July 2016 which stipulated:

“The U.S. seeks to assist in the establishment of comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East, to be negotiated among those living in the region,”

David Friedman and Jason Greenblatt, representing Donald Trump, participated in the drafting and were in complete agreement with the final text.

Chaim Weizmann on behalf of the Jews agreed to help develop the Arab state and Emir Feisal agreed to welcome Jewish settlement in the Jewish state and favored friendly cooperative relations.

(3) That if they will not consent to Jewish government and domination, under conditions of right and justice, or to sell their lands at a just valuation and to retire into their own countries, they shall be driven from Palestine by force.”

To date Israel has been reluctant to claim sovereignty over these lands as the Arabs living there would then demand citizenship resulting in a binational state.

This plan seeks to execute a feasible two-state solution where Jordan is the natural homeland for all Palestinians, and Israel becomes sovereign over all soil west to the River Jordan. This could only happen if the corrupt, terror-supporting and double-speaking Hashemite royal family leaves Jordan. The Palestinians often revolt against the regime but the king’s police force puts them down. The American media ignore this solution to the unrest in Jordan.

What is needed is for the U.S. to influence the Jordanian army and security agency to stand with the revolution the next time it breaks out.  The security agencies and army are already securing the country without any influence from the king who is mostly abroad.  Under these conditions, the king would not return.  Once that happens an interim government of secular Palestinians who want peace with Israel could be appointed.

Once the interim government is installed, it will strengthen the economy by stopping theft of government money and ending corruption. Work opportunities as well as a rewarding benefits/welfare system will be made available to them by the new interim government as further inducement.

Last summer, Feiglin proposed a Solution in which Israel extends Israeli law from the Mediterranean to the Jordan:

We will give the Arab population in those territories three options: The first is voluntary emigration with the aid of a generous emigration grant. Those who tie their fate to the fate of the Jewish Nation, like the Druze, can enter a long-term process of attaining citizenship.

Martin Sherman has published a similar plan which he calls the “Humanitarian Solution” as opposed to a strictly political solution.

The 800,000 Arabs in Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, and Bethlehem could remain there as Jorandian citizens. Ramallah is only 42 miles from Amman, the capital of Jordan. A new highway could be built connecting all these cities to Amman. The rest would have to be transferred to Jordan.

The 1.8 million Palestinians living in Gaza, of which 1.3 million are registered as refugees, would be incentivized to emigrate to Jordan. After enough leave, Israel could extend its sovereignty to Gaza thereby ending that perennial problem.

Considering the subsidies that the West provides to UNRWA, Gaza and the PA, this would be a bargain. Given that JOC has tied its fate to Israel, Israel would be happy to contribute to such a solution as the present conflict costs her hundreds of millions of dollars annually.

The inauguration of an American administration uncommitted to the principle of an independent Palestinian state provides Israel with the opportunity to advocate a long-term strategic vision of building up a prosperous Jordan that could provide an alternative to the model of a two-state solution based on the Palestinian Authority.

A Jordanian-Palestinian federative solution would offer the Palestinians space in addition to their autonomy. We could also consider adopting a joint Israeli-Jordanian-Palestinian economic framework. And there are many other ideas that could be constructed as a result of quiet, serious work with the backing of a supportive US administration.

He is right but the ultimate alternate solution is the one put forward by the JOC.

If anyone wants more information or can help this solution get traction, please write me (tbelman3@gmail.com).

Addendum

David Singer suggested drawing a new border in the Israel Jordan peace agreement. I suggest it should be here.

Israel-Jordan new border imagery

3D Illustration of the Land of Israel

Shiloh and Beit El must remain in Israel yet they lie east of the new road. In some place the new road can be moved a little to the west if there are significant Arab populations to be included.  And look at Ariel. It too must be kept on the Israeli side.  A very crooked road. That’s why I came to the conclusion that maybe it’s better to move them all out.

On second thought I have an alternate suggestion:

Rather than draw a new border, transfer the 1.7 million Arabs in J&S and perhaps 100,000 from Jerusalem to Jordan.

But leave the Arabs in Gaza. Israel should put Jordan in power there even if she has to defeat Hamas to do so.

Thus only 1.8 million Arabs from J&S and east Jerusalem would have to move.

One more thing. We could build a highway from Gaza to Jordan. This highway could be open to Egyptian traffic and thus Egypt would finally have a land bridge to Jordan which they want. Jordan would thus gain a port on the Mediterranean.

Palestinians threaten to downgrade US relations if Trump moves embassy to Jerusalem

call-whine1-1-for-wambulance

Check out this threat from the Palestinian Authority if the USA moves its embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem:

“If that takes place, the Palestinian side would have to sever its ties with the official staff of the illegal US embassy in Jerusalem,” claimed Fatah Central Committee member Nasser al-Kidwa, while speaking to the Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds.

“In addition to that, there is the issue of the Palestinian political representative’s office in Washington,” al-Kidwa continued.  “It would also be necessary to close the office.”

Hmm … I don’t know about your response to that, but I say call the waaaambulance.

Perhaps President Trump should stop American taxpayer money to the no-people Arabs pretending to be a people who have never existed until the Yasser Arafat and Arab nations’ strongmen picked out the name from a hat. ORIGINALLY the British Mandate of Palestine was instituted for Jews to set up a Jewish State after WWI.

ERGO, the so-called Palestinian lies and threats can jump into a pig farm and wallow away. If the Palestine Authority, Hamas OR any other Islamic terrorist organization has a problem with America recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital City of Israel, it might be time for President Trump to help terrorists and their supporters to move somewhere else more historically common to their Islamic faith – ahem, OR ELSE!

Palestinians threaten to downgrade US relations if Trump moves embassy to Jerusalem

A Palestinian official claimed that the Palestinian Authority would downgrade its relations with the US and file a complaint with the UN if Trump moves the US embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

A senior official in Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party said that the PA should downgrade its diplomatic relationship with the United States if President Trump follows through with his plan to move the US embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The official added that the PA would no longer accept the US as a mediator between Israel and the PA.

“It would be necessary for the Palestinian side to make clear that it no longer officially considers the United States an interlocutor and that it cannot cooperate with it directly or through the Quartet,” he said.

The Quartet, comprised of the US, European Union, UN and Russia was launched in 2002 at the height of the Second Intifada in the spirit of the “Road Map” vision of US President George W. Bush for a two-state solution between Israel and the PA.

Moreover, al-Kidwa suggested that the PA may launch a complaint against the United States of America at the United Nations Security Council. Such an initiative would not go anywhere since the US, as a permanent member of the Security Council, would veto any measures against itself.

Islam- Face of Enemy

[I hace a feeling Ari Bussel would not approve of the above image. This is this Blog Editor’s emotion about Islamic terrorism.]

Cataract surgery has placed me a bit behind in reading my email. The result being I am also a bit behind in catching writer submissions.

In this submission Ari Bussel writes about the threat of Islamic terrorism to the USA, Europe and Israel. Bussel rightly examines how Muslim Arabs that call themselves Palestinians are taught from the cradle to grave to hate Jews and destroy Israel AND how the West castigates Israel for their response to this Muslim hatred of Jews.

Bussel’s thoughts are inspired by an email exchange with a Japanese friend who queried him about the Islamic terrorist attack in Nice.

Have you read that novel?]

Here is my reply:

Your e-mail is the least expected and most thought provoking and insightful writing I have received lately.  Thank you very much for sharing, and for exposing me to Camus’ La Peste.

There will be peace again, but first, we must fight and conclude WWIII, in which midst we are now.

A Global Islamic Caliphate

You refer to IS (Islamic State, in Arabic Daesh), but its ideology is not new, just its methods more widely “appreciated.”

Wahhabism (Saudi Arabi, the most common ideology to be found in “cultural centers” and mosques throughout the USA courtesy of Saudi money) and Muslim Brotherhood (primarily to be found in Egypt and Gaza, but here in the USA shared by the “spokespeople” known as CAIR-the Council on American-Islamic Relations) are not different from Daesh or the Mullahs in Iran.  Each wants to establish a global Islamic caliphate and to subjugate all to its doctrine and way of living.  [I, for one, do not want to live as a Dhimmitude (second class citizen) according to Sharia Law.]

Each slightly “different” version of Islam is just a different flavor of the same, and all are expected to experience the same fate:  convert and become a devout Muslim following the particular manner of Islam being advocated, be a second class citizen (by paying a “protection” tax) or die.  It is true about non-Muslims (non-believers) and about Muslims who do not subscribe to the exact same interpretation of Islam by the particular “flavor of the moment.”

Lately, Daesh has managed to attract followers the world over.  Its methods are gruesome, the exact meaning of “terrorism”:  instilling fear in us.  Murdering en mass, setting people on fire (like the Jordanian pilot inside a metal cage).  Raping and selling to slavery women and children.

Non-Muslims are at Peril

Minorities throughout Arab states are at great peril.  The Yazidis in Iraq.  The Coptic in Egypt.  The Christians throughout Africa.  The Jews in Israel.

Israel has proven to be one safe haven for all.  Minorities are guaranteed the same freedoms as Israelis.  They are respected – as it is a major tenet in the Bible.  For the Muslims, Israel is a problem, for it refuses point blank to go away.  It is the only source of light in an otherwise growing darkness engulfing the world.  It is a refuge where sanity rules.  It is a spring of innovation and goodness.  And – it is a laboratory where the forces of darkness and the cults of death unleash their wares – from homicide bombings to cars plowing at civilians.

In short, Israel is an obstacle in the way of the ever-spreading Islamic forces.  At one point it was Iran, more recently Daesh.  But they all aspire for the same end-result, and to achieve that, Israel must be “wiped off the map of the earth” and the Jews must be exterminated.  (Same doctrine as that of the Nazis.)

WWIII is that of Islam trying to rule the world, except the various versions have not agreed yet among themselves which is the dominant one, which will prevail.  In the meantime, the Islamists have declared “Europe has Fallen!  America is Next!”

A Culture of Death

You mention people who are “brainwashed.”  Once it was believed that the destitute become “martyrs” (or as we call them “terrorists”).  Except, it was established long ago that this is not the case, and there are numerous examples.  I often cite the doctors (MDs) who drove with a car full of explosives into the Glasgow airport.  Not only were they not impoverished, they had taken an oath to protect and save human lives.  None had mattered.  They became part of a death cult.

Brainwashing is what takes place in the “Palestinian” areas.  From age zero, their kids are taught to hate non-Muslims (“Pigs and Apes” we are called – reference to Jews and Christians).  They watch children’s programs and cartoons, video games and music videos that glorify “martyrdom” for the sake of 72 virgins in heaven and to avenge some wrongdoing (the audacity of existing).  They go through summer camps and training camps how to murder, how to use a knife and a gun, how to explode themselves (and add to the explosives contaminated blood, rat poison or sharp metal objects to add to the devastation).  The textbooks in schools teach them hatred.  Classrooms, soccer fields and major intersections and city squares are named after terrorists as are stamps and other collectibles.

A mother swears her son is a good “kid.”  That he ate her amazing cooking and was at home the all night.  It turns out it was all a lie, he went with a friend, butchered a Jewish family – two parents and three of their children, the youngest just an infant – and then went back home to sleep.

They went back home to sleep, and continued to live as if they just executed the most peaceful, most beloved and most admirable act in the world.

When arrested, they knew that their families will be well taken care.  Japanese, European and American aid money is used to pay very generous monthly stipends to their families.  The more people one murders or maims, the higher the stipend.

Stopping the flow of money will not stop the lunacy, but it is absolutely necessary to send a message:  We are not part of this insanity.  But the money keeps flowing, and some of the teachings and indoctrination take place inside UNRWA schools (again, the United Nations playing a major role, exact opposite to the reason it was created).

Moreover, the young terrorists became heroes, their acts exalted, their families worshiped.  They did the right thing!  (Let us forget not that the mother went on TV and vowed the son was at home and would never do something like that – it is “against how he was raised,” it is “against the teachings of Islam” she said.)  There are public celebrations and days of worship and exaltation of such devout and devoted “heroes.”

This is in Israel, but what is effective in Israel is also effective elsewhere.

Except, when it happens in Israel, the world does not call it “terrorism.”  Instead, the world points a blaming finger right at Israel.  This is nothing new, just pure old anti-Semitism.  When it happens days, weeks or months later elsewhere, it is abhorred.  Thus, hundreds of homicide bombings (when a person comes into a crowded location and detonates an explosive belt he or she wears, shouting “Allah-U-Akbar”) in Israel – not a single objection.  When the same happened at a Jordanian (Muslim) wedding, the top Islamic clergy issued Fatwas (edicts) this is contrary to the teachings of Islam (it is, if the victims are Muslims).

When Muslim spokespeople go out to say “We Condemn Terrorism,” they cite some very known “incidents.”  They never include any of the exact same attacks in Israel, or in Israel’s capital – Jerusalem.  There it cannot be terrorism, for Jewish blood is allowed, because Jews deserve what they get.

Exporting Terrorism

Since the first day of October, 2015, to today, Israel has experienced what is called the Third (or Youth) Intifada (Uprising).  Primarily young people (age 13, 17, sometimes younger even) take a knife or scissors and go out to murder Jews – a 13yo, an 86yo, and more.

Others drive into crowds standing at a bus station.  (Does that sound familiar?  Nice was not invented two days ago, rather, the practice was well rehearsed repeatedly in Israel.)

The head of the “Palestinian Authority” calls it a “Symphony of Blood” and calls to quench the thirsty earth.  On official radio, TV and newspapers.  Repeatedly they call to do more of the same.  Glorification of death in this culture or cult of death.

Is there any wonder, then, that the same is then “exported” elsewhere?  It is very difficult to fight a non-conventional war, and Israel has become the laboratory.  This cancer must be eradicated.  We are told it is not “organized,” that individuals are rising up (thus the reason that the Third or Youth Intifada is also called the Individual Intifada.  But this is not the case).

Lessons of WWII

You went back to the Nazi era.  Humanity promised not to forget, to internalize the lessons and that such madness would happen “Never Again!”  Seven decades have passed, and we are experiencing exactly the same.  The last remnants of the Holocaust are still here, some survivors (primarily in their nineties) and child-survivors (like both my parents).

Let us remember (as you had indirectly highlighted) two lessons from the Holocaust and WWII:

First, more Christians died in the hands of Christian in WWII.  The systematic extermination of the Jews – six million murdered, 20% children – paled in comparison to the ten-fold number of Christians that died.

In WWIII, more Muslims will die in the hands of a Muslim [or Muslims].

Thus, anyone following that lesson from long ago must ask:  Why are the Muslims not speaking out?  Why are they not rising to protect themselves, not for our sake, for they too would not want to revert to the 7th Century way of living?

The answer is simple:  Many are afraid.  Some agree with what is taking place (even if a very small percentage, it still translates to many tens of millions of people [Bold text from Editor]). The remainder do not have anyone to follow, so they fall in place as well, lost to the ever increasing feeling of dominance and power.

And to them I suggest to ponder a poem by one Pastor Martin Niemoller: “First they came….”

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

— Fighting from Within

You asked about how does one differentiate the innocent from the culprit.  The answer is simple.  It is not you or I who need to do so.  The Muslim communities must act to reform themselves.  They can identify those within them who are getting ready to perpetrate atrocities, but they close their eyes, they cover their ears.  They refuse to do anything.  And so, the work continues uninterrupted.  And help is always given to those who seek it.

In theory it sounds commonsensical for the Muslim communities to be on the alert, again – for their own sake.  But in practice here in the USA, the Muslim community at large is taught by its assumed leaders (like CAIR and MPAC – Muslim Public Affairs Council) not to cooperate with authorities, to cry foul every time there is an investigation and to point a blaming finger to us, the non-Muslims.  There is even a manual what to do when questioned, for immediately, automatically and by default, their “civil rights” have been attacked.

Even in other matters, such as travel.  We are all subjected to searches at airports – Muslims and non-Muslims alike – except all the terror attacks that used airports or airplanes have been perpetrated by … yes, you guessed it!  We cannot go to the gate if we do not have a ticket.  We must remove our belt and shoes, we must open our computer.  We cannot take any liquids if more than a tiny container.  And the list of restrictions goes on and on.

Everyone is subjected to the same rules, but Muslims complain:  We “target” them.  We accuse them.  We persecute them.  We hate them.

The truth is different, but they prefer to sound the “victim” cry-of-war.

They are the victims and we are at fault.  That has been what we, Americans, have been hearing also from our President for the past seven and a half years.

Tell a lie often enough, and people will start believing it.  So in the USA, there are no “terror” attacks and no “terrorists.”  We only have “work-place violence.”  We are told that “Islam is a peaceful religion” and we are so politically correct that we are made to repeat it ad nauseam.

For Humanity to Prevail

For WWIII to end, Islam – a geopolitical movement (often mistaken to be a monotheistic religion) – must reform itself.  This will have to happen from within, for I – a Jewish person – cannot reform Islam, nor can any other person of any other faith outside Islam.

For WWIII to end, Islam will have to be defeated and crushed, in the same manner that Nazism was crushed allowing for WWII to end. [Bold text from Editor] And a better Germany rose out of the ashes, reminding the entire world that humanity matters.  (Interestingly, the Bible teaches us that this is exactly what God expects from us, to be good human beings, to treat the other as we want to be treated ourselves, to do good and to be kind.)

We, human beings, have a tendency to easily forget and to a practice of not knowing our own history.  Seven decades have passed from the most horrific period we have known in modern times, and here we are repeating the very same mistakes once again.

I am attaching something I wrote recently, “Everything but Terrorism.”  Yesterday there is a continuation, “The Lighthouse of Humanity.”  I will forward the latter as soon as it is published.

Thank you again for a thought-provoking reaction to Nice.

Yair Lapid and BDS Movement

Yair Lapid

John R. Houk

© December 16, 2015

Yair Lapid is the head of Israel’s political party Yesh Atid. Yesh Atid portrays itself as a centrist party which I’m guessing in Israeli terms means it adopts snippets from both Israel’s Left and Right that are closer to the center rather than the furthest outskirts of each side’s political spectrum.

In America I am a staunch Conservative Christian Right Israel supporting kind of guy. Thus I don’t really have a right to voice my opinion in which Israeli voters must essentially choose for the survival of the heritage of Jews and the Israel. On a political level I fell in love with Benjamin Netanyahu for taking a stand against President Barack Hussein Obama and his cadre of Left Wing Democrats by accepting the GOP invitation to address Congress.

Yair Lapid criticizes Netanyahu for this choice of alienating Obama. Indeed Lapid is bugged by a lot of Netanyahu’s Israeli policies that implies Netanyahu’s acceptance of a Two-State Solution but with the Palestine Authority recognizing Israel as a Jewish State as a non-starter with the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians.

My understanding Lapid essentially believes Israel should – putting it in the American vernacular – screw forcing Palestinians to accept Israel as a Jewish State. Rather Lapid believes Israel should make a concerted effort to normalize relations with Arab nations that at least nominally have the same National Interests as Israel; viz., the Saudi hatred of Shi’ite Iran, the Jordanian discord with ISIS (they would call the Islamic terrorists Daesh) and Egypt’s internal battle with the Muslim Brotherhood which Hamas is a spin-off. Those are just examples from the top of my head. There are probably more geopolitical areas Israel could focus in the Arab world to normalize relations. Lapid believes normalizing with the Arab world would then force the corrupt leaders of the Palestine Authority to accept a Two-State Solution to at least exist as a nation state and still be able to hate Jews.

The irony of Lapid’s current thoughts on a Palestinian State is that Israel needs to build a bigger wall so-to-speak and give Israeli Arabs a choice of accepting the Israel rule of law or be welcomed to leave. The part I am uncertain about is Lapid’s intentions of the Jewish settlements that have made communities in Judea-Samaria on the basis the land is a part of Jewish heritage. Does Lapid intend a forced evacuation of Jews as Sharon’s Israeli government did to Jewish communities in Gaza? Or does he advocate annexing the land the Jewish communities in Judea-Samaria already possess as part of Israel proper?

On a Biblical Christian Zionist level I do not like any Two-State Solution. The Biblical land of Israel is the Jewish heritage not the heritage of Muslim conquerors who came into existence roughly after 630 AD. There has been a Jewish presence in the land of milk and honey due to God Almighty’s Promise made to Abraham. History paints a story of the land possession promised to the Hebrew tribes beginning circa 1300 BC. There were no Arab people or nations in the land of Jewish heritage until Muslim conquest in the about 638 AD. Even though the majority of people in the Roman designated land of Palestina (English – Palestine) were Christians, there still was a remnant Jewish population even after Roman expulsion between 70 AD and 135 AD (See Also HERE and HERE).

The Islamization of Palestine occurred as a result of the Islamic conquest in 640. It was a long process that included immigration of Muslim Arabs, as well as other Muslims, from other regions, as well as conversion to Islam by some of the indigenous Christian, Samaritan and Jewish population of the area. Islam did not become the majority religion of Palestine until at least the 9th century and possibly even as late as the Mamluk era (1250–1516).[citation needed] This occurred simultaneously with acculturation of the locals into Arab identity and the establishment of Arabic as the lingua franca, which eventually became their sole vernacular.[2] (Islamization of Palestine; Wikipedia; this page was last modified on 6 November 2015, at 17:19.)

Islam is no multicultural friend of Jews or Christians. Islam demands unconditional submission or conversion. These Arabs that call themselves Palestinians following the doctrine of Mohammed will destroy Israel is given the chance.

Whether Netanyahu accepting a conditional Two-State Solution based on the acceptance of a Jewish State or a Lapid agenda of a Two-State Solution with complete separation between Israel and Arabs called Palestinians via fostering Arab nation friendship, is irrelevant. At least both Netanyahu and Lapid recognize who their enemy is.

Another enemy of Israel are idiotic Westerners that have bought into the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement against an Israel that has nothing but reclaim the land of their heritage. Israel calls the land Judea-Samaria. Appeasing Westerners call the land the West Bank – the name given by a 1948 occupying Jordanian army called the Arab Legion under the leadership of British Officers. Then there are the outright Israel-haters who call Judea-Samaria occupied territories by Israel’s military.

The BDS Movement is the height of Jew-hatred disguised as an agenda to liberate those poor Palestinians under Israeli despotism. OF COURSE that is a load of Muslim-Palestinian propaganda.

The post below was posted on the Facebook Community called Stop the JNF SA – Exposed and it is by Yair Lapid. It explains the truth that counters BDS lies. Incidentally “JNF SA” stands for Jewish National Fund South Africa. The Facebook community is dedicating to exposing the anti-JNF organization called “Stop the JNF SA.” The Stop the JNF SA organization is actually a Palestinian front organization dedicated to using propaganda to undermine the Jewish State of Israel. The “Stop” organization accuses the JNF of racism and ethnic cleansing of Arabs calling themselves Palestinian. It’s a load of propaganda crap. The Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) exposes the “Stop” organization as really a bunch of Jew-hater Green Agenda coalition of Muslims of Leftist Jews that are against Israel.

HOW TO FIGHT THE BDS LIES

By: The Yesh Atid party

INTRODUCTION BY MK YAIR LAPID

The State of Israel needs you. We are at war.

The BDS movement (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) spreads an unbelievable amount of lies about us, fabricated pictures and fictional witness accounts. The goal is to smear Israel’s name in the world, to isolate us, to turn us into a hated and illegitimate state.

We cannot abandon this field.

Not everyone is an anti-Semite, not everyone is against us; we just need to explain our side of the story.

If we manage this struggle with determination and wisdom, we can win. But we all need to mobilize.

We are Israelis. And when our house is under attack, we stand ready to defend it. It’s in our genes. There is no right or left in this. When facing the outside world, we are united.

You are preparing to travel abroad.

We have prepared a small booklet for you. For every lie that is being spread, we have written the truth. We haven’t invented a thing, all the information is based on facts. With this booklet, you will be able to respond to every claim and push back against the incitement.

In this war – we are all emissaries – Shlichim.

Travel safely, come home safely.

BDS PROPAGANDA: Members of BDS are human rights and peace activists
OUR TRUTH: BDS is an anti-Semitic movement, founded by global Jihadi organizations. Its activity has been recognized as an anti-Semitic hate crime in France and the United States. Those standing behind BDS have discreet connections with Hamas, whose charter calls for the annihilation of the Jews no less than 12 times.
Despite the attempt to portray the movement as non-violent, the BDS movement has never condemned violence directed against Israelis or Jews.

BDS PROPAGANDA: The occupation is the root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
OUR TRUTH: The conflict and Palestinian acts of terror against Jews in Israel started a long time before Israel took control of the territories. Already in the 1940’s, the Palestinian leadership cooperated with the Nazis against the Jews and acts of terror against Israel started long before the territories were conquered in 1967.
If the territories were the problem, how do they explain the fact that in 2005 Israel pulled out of the Gaza Strip to the last meter, and since that time, some 20,000 rockets have rained down upon the Israeli civilian population?

BDS PROPAGANDA: The Jewish People have no rights to a state in the land of Israel
OUR TRUTH: Our historic and national right to the State of Israel is based on a connection going back 3,000 years. This right was recognized by the UN General Assembly on the 29 of November, 1947.
In the world there are 130 countries with a Christian majority, 49 countries with a Muslim majority, three with a Hindu majority and only one Jewish State on a territory that represents 1/800 of the size of the entire Arab world.

BDS PROPAGANDA: Israel doesn’t recognize the rights of the Palestinians to a state and isn’t interested in resolving the conflict
OUR TRUTH: Since the 1930’s the Palestinians have rejected no less than 5 proposals for a territorial compromise. Already in 1947 the Jewish leadership recognized the right of the Arabs to an independent state alongside Israel. The Arab side rejected the proposal and started a war. Twice – in 2000 and 2008 – Israel offered more than 90% of the territory for them to establish a state, and they refused.
In 2005, Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip and left 3,000 greenhouses behind that had been under Jewish ownership. Instead of giving them to the Gazans, Hamas destroyed these greenhouses and invested hundreds of millions of dollars from the aid sent to them from around the world to build tens of terror tunnels and launching sites for missiles that were designed to carry out terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians.

BDS PROPAGANDA: Israel is exploiting the Palestinian economy
OUR TRUTH: The Palestinian economy is in a slowdown due to corruption in the Palestinian Authority. There are numerous examples of this, including a report by the European Union that determined that corruption in the Palestinian economy led to the loss of some 2 billion Euros in aid between 2008 and 2012. One example among many: documents that were leaked by the Palestinian Authority proved that corruption still exists. In the summer of 2015, a document was leaked that proved that Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor asked the foreign minister of Bahrain for 4 million dollars to fund a private housing complex for people in the Palestinian Authority.

BDS PROPAGANDA: Israel is a racist state
OUR TRUTH: The State of Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and all of its citizens – Jews, Muslims and Christians – enjoy equal rights.
The party that represents Israeli Arabs is the third largest in the Knesset, and is a considerable political force. Israeli law requires a just representation of Israeli Arabs in senior positions in the public sector. Israeli Arabs hold public posts in various government offices, as lawmakers in the Knesset, as officers in the IDF and as judges, including in the Supreme Court.

BDS PROPAGANDA: Israel is an apartheid country with a separation fence
OUR TRUTH: The security fence does not create separation based on ethnicity or religion, rather it is meant only to prevent terrorists from entering Israel. It is an existential need and every country would act the same to protect its citizens, in every sector. Its purpose is only security related.
A year after the fence was built, there was a 30% reduction in the number of terrorist attacks and the number of Israelis killed was reduced by 90%. On the day that Palestinian terror ceases, the fence will come down.

BDS PROPAGANDA: The movement aims to establish a Palestinian state alongside that of the State of Israel
OUR TRUTH: The BDS movement doesn’t recognize the right of the State of Israel to exist.
The boycott movement talks about one state between the Jordan and the Sea – a code name for the disappearance of all the Jews from Israel and not just from the West Bank.
Omar Barghouti, one of the movement’s founders, said: “The idea of two states was void from the start. The ending of Israeli control in the territories is but the first stage on the road to fulfilling the vision of the dismantling of Israel.” (Barghouti is an Israeli Arab who lives in Acre, who benefits from all that Israel has to offer. The fact that he walks around freely points to the power of the only democracy in the Middle East.)
The BDS movement is not interested in a Palestinian State alongside Israel, rather it negates the very existence of Israel. It hides this from its naïve supporters in the West.

BDS PROPAGANDA: The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the root cause of the problem of terror around the world
OUR TRUTH: Since the establishment of the State of Israel, 67 years ago, 12 million Muslims have already been killed around the Arab world by other Muslims in the framework of religious conflicts that have nothing to do with Israel. The attempt to blame the Jews is a new form of old anti-Semitism in which the Jews are blamed for everything. A solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is desirable, and most Israelis support it, but it won’t solve the Sunni-Shia conflict, it won’t destroy ISIS, it won’t stop Iran from funding terror. The attempt to blame Israel for terror just gives excuses to the terrorists and helps promote terrorism.

Answering John Kerry

Intro to Glick’s ‘Answering John Kerry’

Edited by John R. Houk

12/13/15

Caroline Glick posted an essay about John Kerry’s speech at the Brooking Institute’s Saban Forum. This is the same forum that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu video streamed a speech to the Saban Forum from Jerusalem. To comprehend just how idiotic Secretary of State John Kerry is (and by extension President Barack Hussein Obama), let me share some excerpts from Netanyahu’s speech that addresses Islamic terrorism internationally and the terrorism of Arabs calling themselves Palestinians who refuse to accept the existence of the Jewish State of Israel:

I want to thank my friend Haim for giving me the opportunity to address you. This comes at a time when the United States has experienced a terrible and savage attack in San Bernardino, and I wish to offer the condolences of the people of Israel to the families, the aggrieved families, and of course send our wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded. [Blog Editor: a sentiment rarely shared from Obama and Kerry to Israeli-Jewish victims of Palestinian Islamic terrorism.]

And these values are what makes the bond between Israel and the United States, the American people and the people of Israel, so strong. It’s that identity of values, those very values that are under such fierce attack today. …

Insofar as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is concerned, I think there is another misunderstanding. People have long said that the core of this conflict is the acquisition of territories by Israel in the 1967 War. That’s an issue that needs to be addressed in any peace process, as is the question of settlements, but it’s not the core of the conflict. In Gaza, nothing changed. In fact, instead of getting peace, we gave territory and got 15,000 rockets on our heads. We took out all the settlements; we disinterred people from their graves; and did we get peace? No. We got the worst terror possible.

… Why has this conflict not been resolved for a hundred years? Why has it not been resolved after successive Israeli prime ministers, six in fact after the Oslo Agreement, have offered to make peace, have offered the Palestinians the possibility of building a state next to Israel – it’s because the Palestinians have not yet been willing to cross that conceptual bridge, that emotional bridge, of giving up the dream not of a state next to Israel, but a state instead of Israel.

And that’s why they persistently refuse – not only Hamas in Gaza, but the PA – they consistently refuse to accept that in a final peace settlement, they will recognize the Jewish state, they will recognize a nation-state for the Jewish people. They ask that we recognize a nation-state for the Palestinian people, but refuse to accord that same right to us. I have said and I continue to say it, that ultimately the only workable solution is not a unitary state, but a demilitarized Palestinian state that recognizes the Jewish state. That’s the solution. But the Palestinians have to recognize the Jewish state and they persistently refuse to do so. They refuse to recognize a nation-state for the Jewish people in any boundary. That was and remains the core of the conflict. Not this or that gesture or the absence of this or that gesture, but the inability or unwillingness of the Palestinian leadership to make the leap.

You got a hint of that the other day when Abu Mazen spoke about the “occupation of Palestinian lands for the last 67 years”. Did you hear that? Occupation of Palestinian lands? For the last 67 years? Sixty-seven years ago was 1948. That’s when the State of Israel was established. Does Abu Mazen mean that Tel Aviv is occupied Palestinian territory? Of Haifa? Or Beer Sheba? He refuses to fess up to his people and say it’s over, from their point of view what they say are the borders they wish, the final borders they wish. They refuse to recognize that they will have no more claim on the territory of the Jewish state, that they will not try in any way to flood it with the descendants of refugees. After all, we in Israel took in an equal and even larger number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands. You should READ the ENTIRE Speech (Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Remarks to the Saban Forum; By PM Benjamin Netanyahu; Release by Israel GPO posted at SlantRight 2.0; posted 12/7/15)

Now as you read Glick’s essay you will notice that Secretary Kerry acts like he is completely deaf and blind about the intentions of the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians to not only establish a state out of some territory of Jewish heritage but also the complete destruction of Israel to be replaced by an Arab State. In case you haven’t been paying attention to what ISIS is doing to the Christians that have lived in Syria and Iraq that means a brutal genocide against the Jews of Israel.

Answering John Kerry

By Caroline Glick

December 11th, 2015

CarolineGlick.com

On Saturday, US Secretary of State John Kerry gave a speech before the Brookings Institute’s Saban Forum. Kerry focused on the Palestinian conflict with Israel and sought to draw a distinction between the two-state policy model, which he supports, and the one-state policy model, which he rejects.

To justify his rejection of a policy based on Israeli sovereignty over areas beyond the 1949 armistice lines, Kerry raised a series of questions about what a one-state policy would look like.

I answered all of his questions, as well as many others, in great detail in my book The Israeli Solution: A One- State Plan for Peace in the Middle East. I will do so again here, albeit with the requisite brevity.

But before discussing the specific questions Kerry raised with regard to the one-state model, it is important to discuss the nature of the policies Kerry described in his speech.

Kerry argued Israel should deny civil and property rights to Jews beyond the 1949 armistice lines, and ignore the building and planning laws of both Israel and the military government in Judea and Samaria in order to allow unrestricted Arab construction in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem.

Such steps, he argued, will advance the cause of peace because they will pave the way for an Israeli withdrawal from the vast majority of these areas. Such a withdrawal in turn will bring about the desired two-state solution.

Since the two-state solution is supported by the whole world, Kerry argued that once Israel withdraws from the areas, it will gain the support of the world, peace with its Arab neighbors as well as the Palestinians, and become more prosperous and happy than it is today. It will also secure its democracy.

On the other hand, Kerry argued, if Israel respects the civil and property rights of Jews and continues to enforce the law toward Arabs as well as Jews, and if it eventually applies its laws to any or all of Judea and Samaria, Israel will enter a state of perpetual war with the Palestinians and the wider Arab world. Israel will cease to be a democracy. Israel will be impoverished.

Israel will be isolated internationally even more than it is today.

If Kerry’s options were real options, then Israel would have a clear and easy choice, just as he argues it has.

But unfortunately, they aren’t real options. They are fantasies.

Today Israel has three options. As Kerry advocates, it can withdraw from Judea and Samaria and partition Jerusalem. But if it does so, there is no reason to believe that the outcome will be a Palestinian state, let alone peace.

Rather, it is far more likely that an Israeli withdrawal will lead to the establishment of a second independent Palestinian enclave that the Palestinians and the international community will insist is still under occupation, just as the Palestinians and the international community insist that Gaza remains under Israeli occupation 10 years after Israel vacated the Gaza Strip entirely.

Without Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, Israel will become a strategic basket case in an increasingly chaotic region. It will invite aggression from the Palestinians and from the east that it will be hard pressed to defend against.

Just as Israel is condemned for every action it has taken to defend against Palestinian aggression from Gaza, so it will be condemned for the actions it will be forced to take to defend itself from Palestinian aggression in Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem and beyond.

In other words, the so-called “two-state solution” is a recipe for war and expanded international isolation for the Jewish state.

The second option for Israel is to maintain the status quo. Today, Israel shares governing power in Judea and Samaria with the PLO. Sometimes the PLO cooperates with Israeli security forces, and sometimes it cooperates with terrorist groups.

The PLO rejects Israel’s right to exist. It uses every available platform to undermine Israel’s legitimacy and wage economic and political war against the Jewish state.

The advantage of the status quo is that under it, Israel has security control over Judea and Samaria. Consequently, it is able to prevent Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem from becoming strategically indistinguishable from Gaza, where Hamas is now openly collaborating with Islamic State forces in Sinai.

Israel’s third option is to apply its laws over all or parts of Judea and Samaria. The first benefit of this option is that it maintains Israel’s ability to defend itself against security threats emanating from the Palestinians and from the east.

Beyond that, under Israeli law, the civil rights of Palestinians and Jews in Judea and Samaria will be vastly improved. Israel’s liberal legal code is superior to both the military code governing the Jews and the Palestinian Authority’s law of the jackboot which governs the Palestinians.

Whereas the status quo invites and engenders politicization of Israel’s military commanders who serve as the governing authorities of the areas, the third option would end the politicization of the IDF. Generals would take a backseat to elected leaders and government ministries. Police would be responsible for law enforcement. Rather than deploy regular and reserve units to dispel rioters, police, who are better trained for such events, would be judiciously deployed in areas where they are most needed. The IDF’s operations would be limited to counterterrorism.

None of Israel’s actual three options will necessarily enhance its international standing. This is the case because, as we have seen, Israel’s international standing has little to do with anything Israel does.

But then again, by exhibiting strength, and forcefully asserting its rights, Israel may find itself winning the respect of some foreign governments that currently view it is weak and open to blackmail.

This brings us to Kerry’s questions about a one-state model.

Kerry asked, “How does Israel possibly maintain its character as a Jewish and democratic state when from the river to the sea there would not even be a Jewish majority?” The answer is easily. Israel will retain its strong Jewish majority, and its commitment to democracy, after it applies its laws to Judea and Samaria.

Kerry asked, “Would millions of Palestinians be given the basic rights of Israeli citizens including the right to vote, or would they be relegated to a permanent underclass?” The answer is yes, they would be given the basic rights of Israeli citizens, including the right to vote, and no, they would not be relegated to a permanent underclass.

Kerry asked, “Would the Israelis and Palestinians living in such close quarters have segregated roads and transportation systems with different laws applying in the Palestinian enclaves?” The answer is, no.

Kerry asked, “Would anyone really believe they were being treated equally?” The answer is that, as we have seen repeatedly, no matter what Israel does, and no matter what the Palestinians do, people like Kerry will always claim that Israel is mistreating the Palestinians.

Kerry asked, “What would the international response be to that, my friends, or to a decision by Israel to unilaterally annex large portions of the West Bank?” The answer, again, is that the international response to such a move would be about the same as the international response to the continuation of the status quo or to an Israel withdrawal. To wit, the response will be hostile to Israel.

Kerry asked, “How could Israel ever have true peace with its neighbors, as the Arab Peace Initiative promises and as every Arab leader I have met with in the last year reinforces to me as recently as in the last month that they are prepared to do?” The answer is that Israel can have true peace with the Arab world when the Arab world accepts the legitimacy and permanence of the Jewish state.

Kerry asked, “How will [Arab states make peace]… if there is no chance for a two-state solution?” The answer is that they will make peace when they decide they want peace and they rid their societies of Jew hatred.

Kerry asked, “How will the Arab street in today’s world let… [the two-state solution] go by?” The answer is that the Arab street doesn’t believe in the “two-state solution.” The Arab street wants the dissolution of Israel.

Finally, Kerry asked, “And wouldn’t Israel risk being in perpetual conflict with millions of Palestinian living in the middle of a state?” The answer is that Israel is at risk of perpetual conflict with the Palestinians and the Arab world as a whole for as long as the Arabs hate Jews. The millions of Palestinians living within Israel’s borders constitute a far smaller strategic danger to Israel than the millions of Jew-hating Arabs, who have terrorist armies, perched on its international borders.

At the outset of his remarks, Kerry explained that as far as US Middle East policy is concerned, “Our goal, our strategy is to help ensure that the builders and the healers throughout the region have the chance that they need to accomplish their tasks.”

Sadly, this is neither a goal nor a strategy. It is the sort of platitude you’re likely to find inside a Chinese fortune cookie.

If Kerry is interested in an actual strategy, he can fork out 20 bucks and buy my book.

‘There is one slight complication, you say. What about all the Israeli Arabs, full citizens of Israel? Should they be excluded from the workforce too? Also, they have unrestricted movement. Should that be taken away somehow from them?

Those who advocate change answer: If the message for those who want to enter Israel to harm Israelis is “Stay Out,” the message for Israeli Arabs should be “Make Up Your Mind. You are either full citizens or you wish destroy to your country.”’ – Ari Bussel

“The whole day you are in front of the screen, go out, spend some time with other children!”

Ari Bussel has a message that certainly global Leftists and many American Conservatives might find problematic. Ari’s theme is one of segregation between Jews and violent Jew-hating Muslims. Ari addresses Muslims living in stolen Jewish land called the occupied West Bank by Westerners and Judea and Samaria by understanding Jewish Israelis.

Contrary to Leftists and 1st Amendment Americans, I absolutely concur with Ari Bussel. My sentiment in America, if you want to live here than abide by the U.S. Constitution and our American heritage OR leave or be expelled. Thus Jewish citizens of Israel should have the same self-preservation sentiments toward Jew-hating Muslims whether they are Israeli citizens or work non-Israeli Arab Muslims working in Israel yet seeking the Jewish State’s destruction or the murder of all Jews.

Shifting Gear

By Ari Bussel

Sent: 11/28/2015 11:44 PM

According to many, Israel must shift gears, but she has not yet internalized the urgency of her dilemma.

With almost daily attacks against her citizens, in cities throughout Israel, the efforts by the security forces to thwart the violence are not sufficiently successful.

A great deal goes into this endeavor, but Israel has not found an effective enough deterrent against a brainwashed generation, one whose only passion in life is to become martyrs and whose parents dream of nothing else than the children they groomed for this specific task to achieve eternal glory by shedding Jewish blood.

“When I am older, I want to murder Jews!”

“To murder Jews is not a problem to arrange.

But being older, I would not really count.”

Here are some of the steps suggested by those who see a policy shift as necessary:

(a) Immediate cessation of employment of Arabs and actionable steps against those employers who employ them illegally.

(b) Restriction of free movement in Judea and Samaria until calm is restored.

(c) Sending a clear and unequivocal message to Israeli Arabs that it is time to decide if their future lies as citizens of the Jewish state or as members of another country.

Presented with the above points, one is astonished to see the similarities between Israel’s dilemmas and future course of action and what is taking place right now in France and elsewhere in Europe. Yet there such measures are a necessity no one questions, while in Israel anyone daring to think about them is immediately labeled a “hardliner” and worse.

Let us examine these proposed measures.

Arabs from “Palestinian Authority territories” should not be allowed to work in Israel. It is not a question of “collective punishment,” perhaps just basic common sense.

Tens of thousands Muslim Arabs are permitted to enter Israel every day to work. Some are issued permits that allow them to sleep in Israel, but most have to return to their homes every day. All such permits should be revoked.

It was previously presumed that males in their 30s, married with children, who earn twice or more for daily work in Israel, would not engage in terror. This has been used as a guideline for issuing permits and most recently proven a fallacy in this Intifada.

Apparently, what the West considers “logical” does not apply in this neighborhood, and conversely what is permissible and expected here (e.g. slashing a human being’s throat, murdering parents alongside their very young children or kidnapping and murdering youth because they are Jewish) is utterly incomprehensible in the West.

To stop employing Muslim Arabs, how does one know they are Muslim and not Christian? Simply – those coming from “Palestinian Authority territories” are Muslim. Most Christians have been driven out of there, or fled in fear of their life.

To those who call themselves “Palestinians,” much like ISIS, the land must be clean of any “filth” (their term for Jews and Christians and other non-believers), and they have been most effective in achieving this goal. While we consider a 13 or 16 year-old boy or girl innocent and incapable of any wrongdoing, in the employ of the “Palestinian” society, they have become instruments of death and weapons of terror, and their sole aspiration and existence hinges upon spilling Jewish blood.

At school, there are classrooms named after their friends who became Shahids (martyrs). Sport fields are also named after them. At city squares, there are monuments glorifying their achievements. On TV, radio and the internet, songs and video clips focus on their amazing deeds. The politicians repeatedly urge duplication of their heroic actions and provide the justification for carrying them out. In short, the devil’s army looks to the West as innocent children and blameless youth, when in fact, it is weaponized and ready to strike.

An equal or greater number of Muslim “Palestinians” enter Israel without said permits. To fight this situation, each Israeli employer caught employing Arab workers (who are not Israeli citizens) should be fined to such an extent that it will serve as a deterrent to any and all employers who think that is the way to go. In Israel, incidentally, “teaching via one’s pocketbook” works tremendously well. All that is required is intensive enforcement.

Furthermore, say those who are determined to eradicate the current wave of terror, additional steps are necessary. Not only work permits should be rescinded. Movement of Arabs in areas not specifically under “Palestinian Authority” rule should be prohibited. The message should be clear: As long as your purpose is to murder us, you are not welcome in our midst.

There used to be checkpoints, the vast majority of which has been removed in recent years. Except, the few remaining checkpoints do little to prevent the new terror attacks; on the contrary, they invite terrorist to carry out their deeds right then and there.

Free movement has resulted in inflicting blood terror everywhere. All that one requires is a knife, scissors or another sharp object or a vehicle (passenger car, bus, van, tractor). Just aim and hit a group of pedestrians. Jewish children at a bus stop? What a tasty, juicy target. And so on. Free movement on Israeli roads means the ability to reach Israelis and hit them in their soft belly – murdering innocent children, women, the elderly or anyone else one encounters.

There is a physical barrier that has prevented terrorism and has nullified the effectiveness of the Second Intifada. It is made of many segments – wall, fence, the freeway or a hill, i.e. geographic and topographic barriers. This separation barrier must be reinforced, to ensure that those who want to harm Israel be prevented from entering Israel and endangering her citizens.

There is one slight complication, you say.

You are either full citizens or you wish destroy to your country.”

For decades, ever since her inception as a modern country, Israel has treated her Arabs (Christian or Muslim) and other minorities as full citizens of the Jewish state. She has done so with only one exception – Arab citizens do not serve in the military (interestingly, other minorities do serve, including the Druze, Bedouin, Circassian). Without any debt to society, they enjoy full rights and are completely integrated.

For instance, if one looks at any road sign in Israel, it is in three languages – Hebrew, Arabic and English. To those requiring more “substantive” evidence, Arabs serve on the Supreme Court, in the Parliament as full-fledged members, as judges, teachers, poets, movie producers and directors, doctors, nurses, professors, etc.

There are “mixed” cities throughout Israel, from Jerusalem, Nazareth, Acre, Jaffe (part of Tel Aviv major metropolitan), Lod, Haifa and others. Jews and Arabs live together, or side by side, their society completely integrated.

Unfortunately, some have shown how ungrateful one can be, spitting into the well from which they drink, draining Jewish blood into it (and if they could, they would contaminate it with poison).

As Israeli Arabs and their leadership in the Israeli parliament (holding 13 out of 120 seats) continue their quest for separation from Israel, prefer to be called “Palestinians,” encourage and participate in the current terror intifada and act as a Fifth Column within Israel proper, Israelis (Jews) have chosen to stay away from Arab businesses.

Etched into the collective memory is one of the first terrorist attacks that happened in the Old City in Jerusalem at the beginning of the current Blood Intifada.

A couple with their very young son was walking and a Muslim Arab terrorist started stabbing them. The wife, with a knife still in her shoulder, managed to grab the child and run, pleading to no avail with the other Arab shopkeepers to help her and her son, to provide a shelter from a madman. At the same time, the terrorist was stabbing her husband repeatedly, to death.

One Jerusalemite Arab spat at her. Another wished her death. A third kicked her. A fourth cursed her. Another stood with a coke can and enjoyed the scene, as if marveling at a TV program.

If a family cannot walk safely in Israel’s capital city, at the holiest place in the world for the two oldest monotheistic religions in the entire region, the situation warrants attention. The status quo means freedom to worship as one wishes but not on account and to the exclusion of the other.

The Arabs refuse to recognize the right of anyone else to exist and worship, and they are determined to change the status quo by spilling blood and spreading terror. They have done so successfully in the past, driving away the Christians from Lebanon and Bethlehem, and they want to drive the Jews from Israel. It is a long held dream, as long as the modern State of Israel, “to throw the Jews to the Sea.”

The “Palestinians” and their ISIS cohorts use the same intimidation tactics, and those work. Except Israelis are a stubborn people. If nothing else, those devout Muslims should at least remember reading once, somewhere, that the Jews are a very stubborn people indeed. They can find multiple references to that in the Bible; alas they only recognize the Judeo-Christian Bible for the benefit of the West eager to know that Islam is an offshoot of its own religious cradle.

So despite the mounting death toll, Israelis’ determination only intensifies. Thus, a standstill is reached. On the one side those ISIS-like “Palestinians,” on the other side those “most-stubborn” Israelis.

Change advocates point out Arab leadership has not come out against the daily murders. Quite on the contrary, the society at large encourages and supports the terror unleashed on Israel. Its leaders excuse, justify and glorify what is taking place. There was one exception: The Arab mayor of Nazareth in an outburst against the Arab MKs (Members of the Knesset) said the terror unleashed is hurting his city, as Israelis stopped buying and dining there.

Many say this is exactly what should take place: avoid Arab-owned businesses. Stay away from Jewish-owned businesses that employ Arabs. Then, and only then, they might wake up and understand that this Intifada is bad for business, their business.

For anyone who is already on the edge of their seats ready to protest such horrible ideas by “hardliner advocates” (they are only “hardliners” if they are Israel-proponents) ready to use a plethora of names (starting with Islamophobes and Extremists), just ask yourselves if that is not exactly what you strive for when you promote “two states for two people, a Jewish and a Muslim state, side by side?”

First, complete separation. Then, if normalcy can be achieved and safety and security maintained, a more open co-existence can be tried. But at the moment, those who do not like Israel, those who prefer not to be called Israelis and those who act to bring Israel’s downfall should leave or stay out. They are not welcome in Israel. This message now being sent by some should be clear, its pitch noticeable to all. When the message is voiced by one and all, the world might start taking notice. Until then, it is an incoherent gibberish.

Alas, Arab Israelis do not want to leave. They tell us explicitly it is “their” country, they are the landlords and Jews must return to Europe (most of them forget they came from Egypt or Saudi Arabia less than a century ago to find employment from the Zionists, now claim Lordship). Israeli Arabs want to stay, because they know the best and safest place for them is Israel. There is no better place for a Muslim Arab then in Israel proper. Except, they need to make a choice they refuse to make.

Israeli Arabs need to decide if they prefer to remain Israeli citizens or if they want to see the erasure of the Jewish state from existence. Indecision is unacceptable, for Israelis are determined to remain in their ancient homeland.

Remaining in oblivion is no longer an option, for the situation, like a cancer that has spread, has reached a tipping point where action is required if the body is to survive.

Anyone can see the Muslim Arabs, by their own actions, are bringing hard times to their people, since those in Israel may start feeling the integration crumpling. Those in “Palestine” will understand that Jews, who were willing to co-exist, employ them and live side-by-side, are now—out of fear of their lives—no longer willing to do so.

An unintended consequence of Israeli deaths – sacrificed by Muslim terrorists on the altar of Death-to-the-Filthy-Jews – is to bring suffering to Muslims as well. Except, it is becoming more and more evident, the latter do not care. For them, the suffering is a small price to pay. The more Jewish blood that is spilled and the greater the fear in the hearts of the Israelis, the greater is their achievement.

If we internalize this, we then know better how to fight. The Muslim Arabs have raised and trained a generation for one thing only: so it can be unleashed, wave after wave, as cheap and easily replaceable human killing machines. All the Muslim Arabs need to do is send one to two a day, or three to five. They have hundreds of thousands standing at ready to do their bidding, to achieve eternal glory for their families and themselves.

Are these Muslim Arabs who call themselves “Palestinians” different from their brethren of the Islamic State? It seems to many, the similarities are striking. The more blood they shed, the greater their deed. The more gruesome their actions, the more fear they spread. Both have unlimited resources; the latter from conquering oil fields, taking over banks and businesses and looting artworks and other treasures and the former from a non-stop flow of funding from the USA and Europe.

It is important to note that Europe and the USA are financing those who carved themselves a state out of the Body Israel. They are active participants in Israel’s fate, neglecting the reality that what works against Israel is then immediately exported to the European capitals and later to the USA.

For those still in doubt, try to remember the Friday attacks in Paris in November 2015 that left 130 dead.

Israel needs to take extreme measures, and these do not sit well with the open and all-inclusive society Israel has created. But, say those who want change, if Israel does not take these steps now, she will continue to pay the price in blood.

Winter 2014:

Me: “Ok, Mom, I am going out.”

Mom: “Take a coat, it is cold outside.”

Winter 2015:

Me: “Ok, Mom, I am going out.”

Mom: “Take a knife. It is dangerous outside.”

First, the Muslim Arabs threw rocks. Then they threw Molotov Cocktails. Then they used knives. From knives they graduated to live weapons. And from there, they returned to the tested old methods of missiles and bombs. To step up, rather than using regular bombs from the manufacturing facilities in Gaza and Iran, all that one should do is use dirty bombs.

To my European and American readers – we are repeatedly warned to remember what is happening in Israel will soon come to a theater nearby. In Paris, they shot one concertgoer after the next, in sequence, void of any compassion and with utter determination and joy, and only stopped to reload their guns.

If the steps suggested may not be to our taste, we are told to consider, what would we do if the theater were right in our neighborhood, city or country? The steps proposed, insist the presenters, are nothing compared to what the French or the authorities in Belgium or other countries have implemented once attacked.

Alas, proponents for change say Israel has always been held to a different standard by the world than it holds itself. Since she is blamed and maligned any way, at least she will manage to better protect her citizens and restore normalcy by such a complete separation.

Brief Commentary on Paulson’s Moral Compass

John R. Houk

© November 10, 2015

Justin Smith posted a Terry Paulson article on his Facebook page. I wish Justin would have placed an attribution link to Paulson’s very erudite thoughts. When I Googled Terry Paulson I found a version but not the same thing on Townhall.com: “Can America’s Moral Compass Be Restored?” That post was dated November 2. Here is a Paulson bio excerpt from his webpage:

Terry Paulson is a PhD psychologist and a leading authority on change management and in turning positive psychology research into practical insights that produce real-world results. He’s a honored professional speaker, national columnist, and author of the popular books, The Optimism Advantage, Leadership Truths One Story at a Time, Paulson on Change, They Shoot Managers Don’t They, Making Humor Work, Speak Like a Pro, Favorite Family Lectures, and Can I Have the Keys to the Car?

Dr. Paulson is a recipient of The National Speakers Association’s Cavett Award. It is the association’s most cherished award presented annually to the member whose accomplishments over the years have reflected outstanding credit, respect, honor and admiration in the association and the speaking profession.

Dr. Paulson is a past president of READ THE REST

So you should understand that Terry Paulson is a man with some earned intellectual cred.

Paulson’s “America’s Moral Compass” on Justin’s Facebook page addresses American leadership choices (obviously Obama’s program for America) that have taken the USA away from everything that made our nation exceptionally great. Paulson starts each paragraph with “Our moral compass is broken when …”

Below you can read Paulson’s thoughts below in its entirety but I’m going to address those broken moral compass issue with a bit of specificity. To be clear the “specificity” is not comprehensive, but I sense you’ll get the point. So here we go.

Paulson: Our moral compass is broken when the Palestinian police state that embraces the destruction of Israel and condones terrorist attacks on innocent civilians is openly defended. When the reported “disproportional” response of Israel to the unprovoked attacks by Islamic extremists who bomb, stab and attack their citizens are equated and described merely as a somehow equivalent “cycle of violence,” America’s moral compass has lost its true North.

Obama, Obama’s Leftist cadres, various RINOs and most of the EU nations want to insure that the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians are awarded a sovereign nation at the expense of Israel’s existence. If you believe the propaganda most of these love-Palestinians entities would deny a Palestinian State threatens Israel’s existence. They delude their voters that a Palestinian State would bring a new era of peace to the Middle East. Unfortunately the voters these entities represent for the most part are gullible enough to believe this. The Left oriented entities pushing for a Palestinian State are either completely stupid or they are really selling out Israel to garner an economic benefit from oil rich Muslim nations that hate Western culture AND Jews.

You can to a number of pro-Israel sites that provide the real facts about these haters wrapped in Islam. You can get the quick picture from sites like Palestine Media Watch, Honest Reporting and MEMRI. Here are a couple MEMRI videos showing the villainy of Obama to support these Jew-haters for sovereign nation:

Palestinian Cleric Khaled Al-Maghrabi in Al-Aqsa Mosque Address Discusses Annihilation of the Jews and Virgins of Paradise – #5138; October 27, 2015 – 01:54

MEMRI transcript:

In a lesson delivered at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinian cleric Sheikh Khaled Al-Maghrabi said: “Allah is capable of annihilating the Jews all over the world, down to the very last one.” Al-Maghrabi compared the rewards of the martyr in Paradise to those of the murabitun in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying that while the martyr gets to be married to two virgins in Paradise, the murabit gets 70 virgins. The lesson was posted on the Internet on October 27, 2015.

Following are excerpts:

Khaled Al-Maghrabi: In the blink of an eye and with a single word, Allah is capable of annihilating the Jews all over the world, down to the very last one. But what does Allah want? He wants us to act in order to implement His order. We ask ourselves: What should we do to implement the order of Allah? The most important thing we can do to implement the order of Allah… And this is something that exists in the Al-Aqsa Mosque… We say that ribat in the Al-Aqsa Mosque is the most important mission that can be carried out by a person chosen by Allah to be of the people of Al-Aqsa.

The Prophet Muhammad said about the martyr: His sins are absolved with the first drop of his blood. The martyr’s first reward is that his sins are absolved with the first drop of his blood. The martyr’s second reward is to be married to two virgins of Paradise. He gets two virgins from Allah. The third reward is that he can vouch for 70 family members. These are the three things that the martyr gets. Compared to the martyr, the murabit gets Continue reading “Brief Commentary on Paulson’s Moral Compass”
