Believe Mahmoud Abbas – Believe a Liar

Mahmoud Abbas is the President of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Abbas gave a two-hour in Ramallah – located in Judea-Samaria (West Bank to Arabs and much of the globe believing Israel is illegally occupying Arab land) – in response to President Trump notifying the world the U.S. Embassy is moving from Tel Aviv to Israel’s Capital City Jerusalem.

 

As you can guess, Abbas was less than pleased. The speech was chock full of historical revisionism and blatant lies pertaining Israel’s homeland and the existence of the fake people known as Palestinians. Arab domination of the Jewish Homeland didn’t begin until the mid-600s AD (yup, I’m a Christian preferring Anno Domini over Common Era – C.E.).

Media Whitewashes Abbas’ Revisionism and Rejectionism

Mahmoud Abbas’ two-hour address to the central committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization was the diplomatic equivalent of giving the finger to Israel, the US and peace prospects.

 

The speech was expected to articulate the Palestinian leadership’s response to Trump’s Jerusalem declaration and threatened cuts of aid for refugees.

 

But given how long the talk was, it must have been a challenge for reporters to focus on sorting out the “news” from the “rambling.” Indeed, the PA president rejected US mediation, blamed Israel for the “death” of the Oslo accords, and dropped tidbits such as someone offering the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Abu Dis to become the capital of a Palestinian state. (Abbas didn’t say who made the offer.)

 

But there was a bigger picture that the mainstream media snoozed through. What most journalists would consider the boring, long-winded digressions were actually part of a bigger pattern of historical revisionism and rejection of any place for the Jews in the Mideast.

The Speech

 

The Ramallah audience of PLO cadres, VIPs and the foreign press was regaled with Abbas’ theories of how Israel was founded — not by Jews — but by European “colonialists,” with plans going as far back as Oliver Cromwell in 1653. He accused Israel of sending drugs to Palestinian kids. He ridiculed US Ambassador Nikki Haley’s high heels.

And Abbas fabricated a quote to claim that Theodor Herzl, the father of modern Zionism, sought to exterminate Palestinians.

 

“We must wipe out the Palestinians from Palestine so that Palestine will be a land without a people for a people without a land.”

 

Abbas also claimed among other things, that the Jews of Europe chose to remain and die at the hands of the Nazis, that Jews from Iraq and Yemen were brought to Israel against their will, and that Israel was formed as “a colonial project that has nothing to do with Judaism” to safeguard European interests.

 

The PA chief also hurled an epithet at President Donald Trump, saying in Arabic, Yekhreb Beitak, which means “May God destroy your home.” A Palestinian media professional explained to me that home refers not just to the physical house, but the household — its people and possessions. It’s a term used when two people are in a dispute, and although Arabs may use the term somewhat casually among themselves, it’s not a line one would use in a diplomatic setting. That would explain why the Associated Press called it a “jarring” language.

 

It’s not the first time Abbas twisted history for his own purposes. His doctoral thesis, written as a student in Moscow, argued that the killed “only” one million Jews, that the Zionist leaders collaborated with the Nazis, and that Jewish leaders inflated the Holocaust’s death toll to six million for their own advantage.

 

But the overall thrust of the speech was to erase Jewish ties to the land of Israel.

 

The Coverage

 

Too many media reports whitewashed Abbas’ coverage. Perhaps editors didn’t attach enough importance to the speech to give their correspondents a longer word count, which might account for the short, sanitized reports by ReutersBBC NewsCNN and Sky News.

 

Other news services touched on Abbas’ rant, but didn’t delve into the significance, such as AFPThe IndependentIrish Times and the Financial Times.

 

While the New York Times gave a sense of the PA chairman’s verbosity, the paper unfortunately didn’t fact-check Abbas, giving a pass to the false quote.

“Testing his audience’s attention, Mr. Abbas also gave a lengthy history lecture reaching back to the 17th century, saying that Oliver Cromwell had first proposed shipping European Jews to the Holy Land, before tracing the beginning of Zionism to what he called the 19th-century journalist and activist Theodor Herzl’s efforts to “wipe out Palestinians from Palestine.”

 

“This is a colonial enterprise that has nothing to do with Jewishness,” Mr. Abbas said. “The Jews were used as a tool under the concept of the promised land — call it whatever you want. Everything has been made up.”

 

Indeed, Abbas has made everything up.

 

Can you imagine the headlines if an Israeli head of state denied the existence of the Palestinian people? Or fabricated quotes?

 

While I didn’t see any news coverage of the speech in The Guardian, an Ian Black commentary fretted over how the speech would play into the hands of right-wing Israelis. And if I didn’t know any better, I’d say the Irish Independent took Associated Press reports one and two and scrubbed them.

 

Credit the Daily Telegraph and Washington Post for acknowledging Abbas being Abbas and getting fresh quotes from analysts to provide some meaning.

 

Palestinians may see Abbas as defiantly throwing down the gauntlet while Israelis see Abbas on the verge of imploding.

 

If there’s going to be peace, we need the press to step up and enlighten us on what Mahmoud Abbas really stands for.

Alas, the day is here that cultured people are using sub-texts and innuendos to blame Israel for wrongdoings never committed.  Before we, too, find her guilty by association, based on unsubstantiated allegations that sound good, let us investigate, learn from all that Israel can offer and celebrate the true Israel and the vital water lessons she provides. The issue of water is an extremely important issue in the Middle East. This includes the ONLY true representative democracy in the Middle East, viz. Israel. Israel is so hated by Arab Muslims that they continuously propagate lies against the Jewish State. Sadly these lies are too often believed by the Westerners of Europe and America making the diabolical Muslim liars into heroic victims rather than the Jew-hating people their religion has taught them to be.

 

The greatest of ironies is Western Left Wing Jews – particularly in America – believe these libelous lies making them a part of this Muslim Jew-hatred. What does this make Liberal Jews. That would make them self-loathing.

 

Ari Bussel elaborates on this with two email submissions. The first was sent February 23, 2016. The second was sent the next day but was actually written by Ari in 2010. It is quite eerie that Ari presciently wrote on the issue roughly six years ago only to witness an exposé in this present time. I have posted them in the order I received. A Warm Embrace, A Welcome Back

In 1942-1944 a new Israeli folk song and dance appeared, “Ma-im, ma-im Be-Sasson” (water, water, in joy).  It became a sensation and still exists today.  It reads, in part:  “and you will pump water in joy, from the springs of salvation.”

The decades of settlement of Eretz Israel, first under Ottoman Empire then under British rule, were most difficult.  The Land of Israel was – with very few exceptions in “major” cities – desolate and infested with malaria-bearing mosquitoes and swamps in some parts, and a harsh desert in others.   The Arab population, which was in very large part not indigenous, was doing all it could against the Jews.

There was very little food, times were tough and there were bits of horrible news coming from Europe.  The Brits were doing everything possible to avoid supporting the local Jewish population, and settling the land was a most formidable task.  

Deprived of food, sleep and proper accommodations, the settlers of the land forced themselves not to be dejected and to keep morale up.  They would dance and dance and dance to Ma-im, Ma-im, Oh, Ma-im Be-Sasson!

Today, Israel is a superpower in terms of water.  Half as much rainfall, ten times the population, seventy times the size of the economy than 70 years ago, and yet Israel is self-sufficient in terms of its water needs.  It seems that miracles indeed happen in this tiny sliver of land between the Jordan “River” and the Mediterranean.

Cotton fields in the south and banana plantations along the slopes of the Carmel mountains range, both extremely water consuming crops, stretch for miles.  There are major desalination plants, converting seawater into drinking water.  When there is little rain but conditions are right, clouds are being impregnated and rain becomes a reality.  Cities in desert areas are blooming with reclaimed water (it is easy to notice since the drip irrigation uses purple plastic hoses).  And agriculture, fresh fruits and vegetables, relies heavily on reclaimed water.  

Science and technology have developed around and as a result of necessity.  Harsh conditions dictate a reality of either importing water or becoming self-sufficient.  And Israel has long learned the lesson she cannot rely on anyone but herself for her own survival.

Yet Israel has not kept her achievements to herself.  Quite the contrary, she constantly shares, following the motto “light unto the nations.”  From East to West Africa, India to China, and now coming to the USA, Israel’s water technology is being spread for the general good to everyone’s benefit.

Even in the immediate neighborhood, where wars have been fought because of water and neighbors want to destroy one another as a matter of tradition, pastime sport and culture than any real reason, Israel shares her know-how with her sworn enemies.  

Syria, whose water resources were stolen by Turkey, was being assisted by Israel, pure cooperation without media fanfare, until the civil war erupted.  

In Syria, vast agricultural areas dried up, forcing the farmers to migrate to the major cities or starve.  This caused immense pressure on the political and economic systems, which contributed to the unrest.

The world at large recognizes Israel’s position and contributions in the area of water, except a few Jews and others right here in America.

National Geographic

National Geographic for me has always been an icon.  We used to collect the yellow-and-white-cover magazines and to order the leather binders for each year.  Before the advent of the Internet and smartphones, when travel was limited and extremely expensive, National Geographic took us to wondrous places to see amazing things only nature could create.

We trusted National Geographic; to be fair and balanced, to be neutral in anything and everything with one exception, standing for the might and wonder which is nature.

Little did I expect that National Geographic would betray all that it represented, when its photographers and editors chose to dedicate a whole issue to the subject of water, a scarce – and sacred – resource, and about one fifth of this special issue to the “evils” of Israel.  Oh, so innocent.  Oh, so deceiving.

Israelis “stealing” water!  Israelis enjoying abundance of water at a pool or the Sea of Galilee, in contrast with Jordanian kids with swollen stomachs or skeleton bodies and a non-existent water supply.  Israelis vs. nomad Bedouins.  Israelis growing Bananas minus the tiny caveat that only reclaimed water is used, exclaiming in the text how water consuming are the banana plants.  And it went on and on.  Israel the devil and those horrible Israelis.

Nothing could be further from the truth, and Israelis, who cannot fathom twisting the truth to no (or ill) gain, ignored it.  This Water Issue was allowed to sell in Israel, and Israelis did not go out to the streets in protest.  The distance between reality and false propaganda was so fantastic, that Israelis simply refused to pay attention.

Alas, a major (Jewish) philanthropist, daughter of the Annenbergs whose name adorns music centers and other cultural landmarks, decided to open her “Space for Photography” in Century City (a Los Angeles neighborhood bordering the City of Beverly Hills) with the National Geographic water exhibit.

Shame, people shouted.  All approaches to her offices and foundation were ignored as superfluous and meaningless noise.  Two icons came together, National Geographic and philanthropic wealth.  “Water!” was a lucrative enough title, and with the brand name of National Geographic and a newly opened “museum” in the heart of Century City, success was guaranteed.  Why should anyone worry about truth, ethics or integrity?

Water Summit @ The Wallis

Some years passed.  Annenberg gave $25m to a new Cultural Center in Beverly Hills, now named after her.  On March 1-3, 2016, a Water Summit will be held in Beverly Hills, at the Wallis.  It is part of a series of such summits throughout the United States, held by Jewish National Fund, a local non-profit.

More importantly, it is part of a Memorandum Of Understanding between Israel and the City of Beverly Hills (there was a similar MOU signed with the State of California).

There will be a representative of major labor unions, major investment funds, government officials, activists and residents.  In short, people will come to learn about all that Israel has to offer in terms of water, highlighting truth, not fiction; reality, not false fabrications.

This is more important now more than ever, with two thirds of humanity and 40 States of the Union facing severe water shortages.  In California alone, the source for half the agriculture in the USA, one million acres were lost last year due to the ongoing drought, now in its fifth year.

In a breakfast event to kick off the California-Israel Water Summit, there were those who remembered the National Geographic Water Issue and the Annenberg Space for Photography’s decision to showcase it as its opening act.  They looked at one another and inquired, who knows Wallis Annenberg, to extend her an invitation to the Water Summit.

There is no need for an apology.  Correcting past misdeeds and evil-doings such as the betrayal, especially young ones and those most loyal ones, by National Geographic and its editorial staff will not do any good, after the seeds of lies and deception have germinated.  But the truth has a tendency to eventually emerge and see the light of day, contrary to any ill intentions.

It happens every year when Israeli pilots fly over Auschwitz.  When the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces leads Israeli soldiers there.  It happens when anyone visits Israel and discovers for him or herself her numerous miracles of existence.  And it will happen when Wallis Annenberg comes to the cultural center at this iconic city, a center that carries her name, and will be welcomed with the love and appreciation that exists toward a sister; even if she made an error in the past.

Agriculture and water played a pivotal role in Biblical history, to such an extent that Jewish people still bless G-d every day, “He who returns the wind and brings down the rain” or “He who brings down the early morning dew” depending on the time of the year.  Without water, the Land of Milk and Honey would become barren and dry, its trees would wither, its future in doubt.

 

All it takes is to accuse Israel of the wrongdoings her enemies never hesitated to commit.

 

Water is intrinsically intertwined in Israel’s history, from parting the sea to allow the escape from tyranny and slavery to the days the Israelites were wandering the desert and yet all their needs were met.  Other highlights include Elijah the Prophet standing with his head on the line on Mount Carmel seeing a tiny father-of-cloud approaching; supplying water to Jerusalem in King David’s time; the aqueducts built during the Roman period from Haifa to Caesarea – still standing today – and during the same era, the water-collecting and storing mechanism in the Masada fortress at the Dead Sea.

Now, at the beginning of the 21st Century, water has become the new blood libel against Israel.  Seeing the effectiveness of repeating the argument “The Holocaust Never Happened,” Israel’s enemies now use against her the very weapon once used to parch the Jewish inhabitants of the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem in an attempt to force them to surrender.  All it takes is to accuse Israel of the wrongdoings her enemies never hesitated to commit. No proof needed, just the chutzpa to promote the big lie.

Water assumes a modern, everyday importance as well.  The most known phrase in Israel is “It’s a shame to waste a drop”–of water.  Every drop of water is crucial, from not wasting water to clean one’s car (use a bucket rather than a hose) to using a two-tier water container in the bathroom and soaping dishes with the faucet off.  Water is so expensive in Israel that people are trained, from very early age, to conserve.  

This week the largest desalination plant opened in Israel, changing seawater to drinking water that actually taste good.  Israel has long been the leader and pioneer in water technologies, from drip irrigation to gray water usage in agriculture. (For INN’s article featuring this, click here).

A classroom guide about water for grades one through 12 is readily available online and in numerous textbooks.  Water is part of the curriculum in Israel, thus reinforcing what children learn out of necessity at home.  Moreover, water is the subject of songs and dances in Israel, truly embracing a cultural experience.

It is exactly in this context that foreign photojournalists came to Israel to take pictures and tell a story.  The story is part of a major project, a special National Geographic issue about a thirsty world.  

What did they find in Israel?  Somehow, none of the things I described, not a thing that every Israeli child has experienced since early age:  the great respect shown a very scarce resource, the admiration, the dependence and the knowledge that water comes with a price. Every first, second and third grader in Israel can educate the world about water and its conservation.  

Against that background of care and conservation, the photojournalists did not describe the Israeli reality.  Instead, they focused on a story they wanted to tell, one of hatred and suspicion, one twisting reality into an attack on the Jewish State.  

Dressed as a photo exhibit, National Geographic blames a water shortage and the ills of the region on Israel.  The Dead Sea is drying up and it is Israel’s fault.  Israelis consume more water than Arabs, supposedly, and this too is Israel’s fault.  With ever increasing population pressures throughout the arid Middle East, there is a decreasing water table, so BLAME ISRAEL.  No word on Arab destruction of the aquifer and warnings of Israeli water experts on Arab misuse of water sources.

Reinforcing the photo-exhibit message are pictures and captions showing Israel supposedly exploiting water  by growing crops that are high consumers of water. Implying Israel does not know her right from her left in agriculture is foolish given most crop types were refined over the decades to better adapt to the climate and that each farmer gets strict allotments. In addition, most irrigation types and water used—gray water—were developed for lessening Israel’s dependence on water. Israelis invented water saving drip irrigation.

The sophisticated National Geographic photojournalists with their ultra sensitive cameras and amazingly twisted hearts and minds set out to frame Israel for crimes she never committed.  It is easy to accuse, and let the lies carry in the wind, like fire in a dry field on a scorching day.  

“More humanity per pixel” says the Los Angeles-based Annenberg Foundation that opted to host the exhibit during the fifty days between Passover and Shavuot.  But let us celebrate water, not hate, and let us learn from Israel and her long history intermingled and dependent on water.  We must disallow the spread of propaganda against Israel under the guise of a National Geographic photo exhibit.

 

Alas, the day is here that cultured people are using sub-texts and innuendos to blame Israel for wrongdoings never committed.  Before we, too, find her guilty by association, based on unsubstantiated allegations that sound good, let us investigate, learn from all that Israel can offer and celebrate the true Israel and the vital water lessons she provides.

Israel needs each and every one of us to combat the lies.  The war does not rage in Israel proper, but right here in Los Angeles and on campuses throughout North America.  It is in museums and places of culture and thought, locations that should have been the first to reject the lies, yet most adamantly embrace them.

To counter the lies we need to become Israel’s true Water Ambassadors and restore to the world a semblance of sanity and respect before the truth is buried forever.

In a new leaflet by the Los Angeles based Simon Wiesenthal Center, “2010 Top Ten Anti-Israel Lies,” water is not mentioned.  A recent lecture by a doctoral student titled “Thirsting the Palestinians” held at Loyola Law School in Downtown Los Angeles and a billboard on Sunset Strip promoting the same lies were just appetizers.  The Annenberg Exhibit is ushering in hatred with all its glory, propaganda with all its might, via no other doors than those of the Jewish Community itself.  The very leaders of the community seem not to have noticed what the exhibition is saying–or have they?

Shame, Wallis Annenberg.  Your love of photography and your family’s many contributions to culture cannot justify your helping to propagate hatred toward Israel and the Jewish People.  Take action, lest you remain an accessory, a major facilitator in fact, to this horrible blood libel.

It is time to stand up and speak against the continued delegitimization, demonization and dehumanization of the Jewish State. Lest we ask later “why did we not do something about Israel’s fall when we had a chance,” let us answer the following now:  If not we, who, and if not now, when?

Yair Lapid is the head of Israel’s political party Yesh Atid. Yesh Atid portrays itself as a centrist party which I’m guessing in Israeli terms means it adopts snippets from both Israel’s Left and Right that are closer to the center rather than the furthest outskirts of each side’s political spectrum.

In America I am a staunch Conservative Christian Right Israel supporting kind of guy. Thus I don’t really have a right to voice my opinion in which Israeli voters must essentially choose for the survival of the heritage of Jews and the Israel. On a political level I fell in love with Benjamin Netanyahu for taking a stand against President Barack Hussein Obama and his cadre of Left Wing Democrats by accepting the GOP invitation to address Congress.

Yair Lapid criticizes Netanyahu for this choice of alienating Obama. Indeed Lapid is bugged by a lot of Netanyahu’s Israeli policies that implies Netanyahu’s acceptance of a Two-State Solution but with the Palestine Authority recognizing Israel as a Jewish State as a non-starter with the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians.

My understanding Lapid essentially believes Israel should – putting it in the American vernacular – screw forcing Palestinians to accept Israel as a Jewish State. Rather Lapid believes Israel should make a concerted effort to normalize relations with Arab nations that at least nominally have the same National Interests as Israel; viz., the Saudi hatred of Shi’ite Iran, the Jordanian discord with ISIS (they would call the Islamic terrorists Daesh) and Egypt’s internal battle with the Muslim Brotherhood which Hamas is a spin-off. Those are just examples from the top of my head. There are probably more geopolitical areas Israel could focus in the Arab world to normalize relations. Lapid believes normalizing with the Arab world would then force the corrupt leaders of the Palestine Authority to accept a Two-State Solution to at least exist as a nation state and still be able to hate Jews.

The irony of Lapid’s current thoughts on a Palestinian State is that Israel needs to build a bigger wall so-to-speak and give Israeli Arabs a choice of accepting the Israel rule of law or be welcomed to leave. The part I am uncertain about is Lapid’s intentions of the Jewish settlements that have made communities in Judea-Samaria on the basis the land is a part of Jewish heritage. Does Lapid intend a forced evacuation of Jews as Sharon’s Israeli government did to Jewish communities in Gaza? Or does he advocate annexing the land the Jewish communities in Judea-Samaria already possess as part of Israel proper?

On a Biblical Christian Zionist level I do not like any Two-State Solution. The Biblical land of Israel is the Jewish heritage not the heritage of Muslim conquerors who came into existence roughly after 630 AD. There has been a Jewish presence in the land of milk and honey due to God Almighty’s Promise made to Abraham. History paints a story of the land possession promised to the Hebrew tribes beginning circa 1300 BC. There were no Arab people or nations in the land of Jewish heritage until Muslim conquest in the about 638 AD. Even though the majority of people in the Roman designated land of Palestina (English – Palestine) were Christians, there still was a remnant Jewish population even after Roman expulsion between 70 AD and 135 AD (See Also HERE and HERE).

The Islamization of Palestine occurred as a result of the Islamic conquest in 640. It was a long process that included immigration of Muslim Arabs, as well as other Muslims, from other regions, as well as conversion to Islam by some of the indigenous Christian, Samaritan and Jewish population of the area. Islam did not become the majority religion of Palestine until at least the 9th century and possibly even as late as the Mamluk era (1250–1516).[citation needed] This occurred simultaneously with acculturation of the locals into Arab identity and the establishment of Arabic as the lingua franca, which eventually became their sole vernacular.[2] (Islamization of Palestine; Wikipedia; this page was last modified on 6 November 2015, at 17:19.)

Islam is no multicultural friend of Jews or Christians. Islam demands unconditional submission or conversion. These Arabs that call themselves Palestinians following the doctrine of Mohammed will destroy Israel is given the chance.

Whether Netanyahu accepting a conditional Two-State Solution based on the acceptance of a Jewish State or a Lapid agenda of a Two-State Solution with complete separation between Israel and Arabs called Palestinians via fostering Arab nation friendship, is irrelevant. At least both Netanyahu and Lapid recognize who their enemy is.

Another enemy of Israel are idiotic Westerners that have bought into the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement against an Israel that has nothing but reclaim the land of their heritage. Israel calls the land Judea-Samaria. Appeasing Westerners call the land the West Bank – the name given by a 1948 occupying Jordanian army called the Arab Legion under the leadership of British Officers. Then there are the outright Israel-haters who call Judea-Samaria occupied territories by Israel’s military.

The BDS Movement is the height of Jew-hatred disguised as an agenda to liberate those poor Palestinians under Israeli despotism. OF COURSE that is a load of Muslim-Palestinian propaganda.

The post below was posted on the Facebook Community called Stop the JNF SA – Exposed and it is by Yair Lapid. It explains the truth that counters BDS lies. Incidentally “JNF SA” stands for Jewish National Fund South Africa. The Facebook community is dedicating to exposing the anti-JNF organization called “Stop the JNF SA.” The Stop the JNF SA organization is actually a Palestinian front organization dedicated to using propaganda to undermine the Jewish State of Israel. The “Stop” organization accuses the JNF of racism and ethnic cleansing of Arabs calling themselves Palestinian. It’s a load of propaganda crap. BDS PROPAGANDA: Members of BDS are human rights and peace activists
OUR TRUTH: BDS is an anti-Semitic movement, founded by global Jihadi organizations. Its activity has been recognized as an anti-Semitic hate crime in France and the United States. BDS PROPAGANDA: The occupation is the root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

OUR TRUTH: Our historic and national right to the State of Israel is based on a connection going back 3,000 years. This right was recognized by the UN General Assembly on the 29 of November, 1947.
In the world there are 130 countries with a Christian majority, 49 countries with a Muslim majority, three with a Hindu majority and only one Jewish State on a territory that represents 1/800 of the size of the entire Arab world.

 

BDS PROPAGANDA: Israel doesn’t recognize the rights of the Palestinians to a state and isn’t interested in resolving the conflict
OUR TRUTH: Since the 1930’s the Palestinians have rejected no less than 5 proposals for a territorial compromise. Already in 1947 the Jewish leadership recognized the right of the Arabs to an independent state alongside Israel. The Arab side rejected the proposal and started a war. Twice – in 2000 and 2008 – Israel offered more than 90% of the territory for them to establish a state, and they refused.
In 2005, Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip and left 3,000 greenhouses behind that had been under Jewish ownership. Instead of giving them to the Gazans, Hamas destroyed these greenhouses and invested hundreds of millions of dollars from the aid sent to them from around the world to build tens of terror tunnels and launching sites for missiles that were designed to carry out terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians.

 

BDS PROPAGANDA: Israel is exploiting the Palestinian economy
OUR TRUTH: The Palestinian economy is in a slowdown due to corruption in the Palestinian Authority. There are numerous examples of this, including a report by the European Union that determined that corruption in the Palestinian economy led to the loss of some 2 billion Euros in aid between 2008 and 2012. One example among many: documents that were leaked by the Palestinian Authority proved that corruption still exists. In the summer of 2015, a document was leaked that proved that Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor asked the foreign minister of Bahrain for 4 million dollars to fund a private housing complex for people in the Palestinian Authority.

 

BDS PROPAGANDA: Israel is a racist state
OUR TRUTH: The State of Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and all of its citizens – Jews, Muslims and Christians – enjoy equal rights.
The party that represents Israeli Arabs is the third largest in the Knesset, and is a considerable political force. Israeli law requires a just representation of Israeli Arabs in senior positions in the public sector. Israeli Arabs hold public posts in various government offices, as lawmakers in the Knesset, as officers in the IDF and as judges, including in the Supreme Court.

 

BDS PROPAGANDA: Israel is an apartheid country with a separation fence
OUR TRUTH: The security fence does not create separation based on ethnicity or religion, rather it is meant only to prevent terrorists from entering Israel. It is an existential need and every country would act the same to protect its citizens, in every sector. Its purpose is only security related.
A year after the fence was built, there was a 30% reduction in the number of terrorist attacks and the number of Israelis killed was reduced by 90%. On the day that Palestinian terror ceases, the fence will come down.

 

BDS PROPAGANDA: The movement aims to establish a Palestinian state alongside that of the State of Israel
OUR TRUTH: The BDS movement doesn’t recognize the right of the State of Israel to exist.
The boycott movement talks about one state between the Jordan and the Sea – a code name for the disappearance of all the Jews from Israel and not just from the West Bank.
Omar Barghouti, one of the movement’s founders, said: “The idea of two states was void from the start. The ending of Israeli control in the territories is but the first stage on the road to fulfilling the vision of the dismantling of Israel.” (Barghouti is an Israeli Arab who lives in Acre, who benefits from all that Israel has to offer. The fact that he walks around freely points to the power of the only democracy in the Middle East.)
The BDS movement is not interested in a Palestinian State alongside Israel, rather it negates the very existence of Israel. It hides this from its naïve supporters in the West.

 

BDS PROPAGANDA: The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the root cause of the problem of terror around the world
OUR TRUTH: Since the establishment of the State of Israel, 67 years ago, 12 million Muslims have already been killed around the Arab world by other Muslims in the framework of religious conflicts that have nothing to do with Israel. The attempt to blame the Jews is a new form of old anti-Semitism in which the Jews are blamed for everything. A solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is desirable, and most Israelis support it, but it won’t solve the Sunni-Shia conflict, it won’t destroy ISIS, it won’t stop Iran from funding terror. The attempt to blame Israel for terror just gives excuses to the terrorists and helps promote terrorism.

Now we have a name for it: The Youth Intifada. And I thought it was the Jerusalem (Al Aqsa) Intifada, since the perpetrators are all from Jerusalem and claim to themselves and the world they are protecting the Al Aqsa mosque.

With blood the land will be reclaimed! Really, it is the only manner for the Arab youth in Israel to express its frustration, as the negotiations since Oslo have been going nowhere: 22 years and counting.

In the Arab world, the vast majority of males are under the age of 24. Thus, they have been born into a make-belief environment, where Israel talks peace while their own leaders aspire the destruction of Israel by any and all means.

Many, especially among Israeli-Americans and American Jewry, would quickly jump and point the finger at Netanyahu for the elusive peace: He (and only he) is at fault. Except, Rabin, Olmert, Barak – it matters not if the Prime Minister was right or left of center – the result was identical: no progress.

The reason is simple, but it is always easier to blame Netanyahu. He has broad shoulders, and he stands determined. So, he might as well be guilty.

The real reason is that no “Palestinian” leader, from the time this figment of imagination was concocted by Arafat in the classrooms of the Soviet Union, would ever dare enter into a peace agreement with Israel, for that would be signing his own death warrant (not only political but actual, physical death).

Do the “people” want peace? As we look at the ground we see the two sides: one exhausted, exasperated, ready to reach peace at all costs, completely infatuated with finding ways to reach this elusive peace, contrary to any common sense or facts on the ground. It is a side on a mission, a suicide one.

To avoid confusion, let me call this side by name: Israel.

On the other side, we are told repeatedly, primarily by some very vocal Jews and Israelis, self-haters, and other anti-Semites, “David,” a young, innocent boy, who has been born into the “Occupation” sees no future ahead of him. He thus has no choice than to resort to the meager means in his arsenal, the stones he can pick up from the ground (most recently knifes and Molotov cocktails), in order to overcome – to general delight and relief – the oppression and misery by Goliath.

Our “David” is so innocent, nothing he does can ever be construed as anything but pure, the very essence of goodness. Thus, when he throws rocks or rockets, it is a peaceful resistance. Molotov cocktails? More of the same. Using a knife to stab people? Oh, ignore the knife. Running over people in a bus, a tractor or a car? Surely an accident, the vehicle had a mechanical failure and went out of control. A combination of running over people and going out of the vehicle to stab them with a knife or butcher them with an axe? A Zionist Conspiracy! Even if the dead are strewn in the street and the whole episode was documented in real time.

And so the stories go, nothing that happens can ever be construed to be our David’s fault. He is innocent, a complete angel, who only knows to do good.

A new fire has been lit, and its flames are roaring upward and upwards. Some say that Abbas, the head of the tribes, has lit the fire and now is afraid of the speed and magnitude it has achieved in such a short period of time. Rest assured, Abbas is not worried. Rather, he is happy as a child, for the fire is consuming every corner; bodies are strewn in the streets of Israel’s major cities. He even blames the “Government of Israel and her herd of Settlers.” Innocence apparently rubs onto him from his armies of “Davids.” As he proudly proclaims: “It is a national Palestinian project; we need to safeguard the achievements thus far.”

Each tiny “David” is an immediate hero, a sensation. Oh, what an amazing success, with so little effort. Even after their death, the winning celebrations continue with extravagant funerals that further inflame the incitement. All Israel has to do is not return the terrorists’ bodies, but it would take her two weeks and numerous attacks to internalize this understanding.

The world itself is holding its breath: Finally, the rise of the innocent. One by one, unorganized, uncoordinated, motivated and with deep inner conviction, the “Palestinian Davids” are rising up to protect their people, to claim what is rightfully theirs! [There is also a “Palestinian Jesus;” the propaganda machine is working at full speed conjuring images and supporting them with narrative, movies, songs and caricatures.]

The Los Angeles Times, as expected, already put some of the blame on Israel. Haters are always true to form and never disappoint. There are videos circulating around of “executions” by Israelis, who apparently find it an acceptable pastime to murder or maim Arabs.

Abbas, for instance, blames Israel in a press conference for executing a 13 year old boy (who perpetrated one of the killing sprees), while he knows all too well the boy is alive and receiving treatment at Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem.

The outrage, the feeling of restlessness and the empowerment by the blood flowing and quenching the thirst of the land are all contributing factors. Parents are praising their “innocent” Shaids [or Shahids, Shaheeds or martyrs]. They raised them, groomed them for this very moment. Life at its finest! Their dreams for their children have come true.

“Innocent!” Proclaims the Arab media. “Executions by Israel.” “Escalation of the situation by Israel.”

And the White House and State Department provide the chorus line, echoing the accusations. Israel is applying “too much force.”

And so, the terror attacks continue. Four yesterday. Three today already and it is only 11:16 A.M.

Israel is at fault, and none of the perpetrators is guilty.

Guilty of what, one asks. Trying to remove the Occupier from their land? Rising up to protect their siblings, parents and grandparents, neighbors and friends? Standing up for the protection of the Al Aqsa mosque, that holy mosque the Zionists did not even realize they are attempting to topple?

This is the land of the absurd, where the devil is standing on the sidelines with the utmost pleasure and orchestrates the crescendos: hit here, hit there, arise, you faithful, arise and strike!

Death comes to Israel, and the perpetrators are Israeli Arabs, led by no one else then their own Members of the Knesset, from the podium of the Israeli Parliament itself.

What is happening in Israel is an uprising of Israeli Arabs. It is orchestrated, organized and deliberate. It is supported and encouraged by the populace and its leadership, and the world stands agape and applauds. Finally, the Arab youth rises. Arise, ye faithful, arise and sacrifice yourselves. Stand up to the Occupation. Stand up and show what you have in you!

A special “Day of Rage” was announced in advance. Alas, why bother? These terror attacks commenced two weeks ago and continue on a daily basis. Multiple murderous attacks each day, and they have already spread to all parts of Israel.

For years we have seen no Israel on the map, a rifle superimposed indicating uprising by force. The time has come, and once the lid has been removed, it cannot be put back. Constant, non-stop brainwashing that the totality of Israel is theirs, that Jews are filth and must be killed, finally came to fruition.

Wake up Israel, stand up and fight!

Israelis, who until two weeks ago lived their everyday life, have awoken to a new reality. They are now unified and one. They are under attack. When the Arab media or Arab governments point a finger at us, Israelis know that the reality in which they now live is one where a young Arab can take out a knife or a gun, or use a vehicle to murder. One must be extra vigilant.

Israelis, right, left and center, know the enemy when they see one. If the head of opposition alongside every Jewish party of the Knesset sides with and supports Netanyahu’s government’s steps to stop this “wave of terror,” one must understand that Israelis are unified; that times are sufficiently dire.

It is the Arab population that chooses to believe that all the perpetrators are innocent heroes, their new “Davids.” Israelis are unified, and determined to survive, to emerge alive.

And that means one thing: With two sides, each fighting to the death, the Jews will survive, as they have for millennia. The world may be swayed toward the lies and deception of the Arabs, and their Song of the Knife, but at the end of the day, there is a limit even to how much the Devil can confuse everyone.

This is a religious war, a war to exterminate the Jews and create a land free of any Jew. Does that sound familiar to anyone? Go no further than eight decades ago, and the similarities are striking.

Rise, Oh Israel, Rise and Defend Yourself. The world stands on the sideline, cheering and encouraging. The young perpetrators do not mind sacrificing their lives, in waves of homicide lunatic acts. They are not to blame. Their society conditioned them to such a degree that they do what is expected, that for which they have been groomed; to be killing machines filled with vengeance and hatred.

One wave after another, they will come. They will extract a dear price, as much blood as possible. They will become instant heroes in a culture that thrives on death and mayhem.

And then will come the Islamic State, toppling down Egypt and Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. And then in the end, there will be silence.

The information learned demonstrates the antisemitic attitude the United Nations has toward Israel, yet other nations commit atrocities that make accusations look like a day in the park and the UN says absolutely nothing. Before the beginning of the 20th century, there were practically no Arabs in the Holy Land. In 1695 there was not a single Muslim Arab in Gaza, Nazareth, and Um-El-Phachem. All Arabs there were Christians. Historically, a “Palestinian” people never existed. The English name “Palestinian”, to describe the local Arab population, was invented AFTER the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. These Arabs do not even have a native name to describe themselves in their own Arabic language. The Arabs who now claim to be natives of the Holy Land have migrated to Palestine and invaded the land after 1917, from neighboring Arab countries. There is only one possible solution to the “Palestinians” desire for a homeland – let them return to where they came from – to where they lived earlier for hundreds or thousands of years – to their real homeland in their original Arab countries.

Unknown to most of the world population, the origin of the “Palestinian” Arabs’ claim to the Holy Land spans a period of a meager 30 years – a drop in the bucket compared to the thousands of years of the region’s rich history.

Before the beginning of the 20th century, there were practically no Muslim Arabs in the Holy Land. In 1695 there was not a single Muslim Arab in Gaza, Nazareth, and Um-El-Phachem. All Arabs there were Christians. By contrast, the Jews, despite 2000 years of persecution and forced conversions by various conquerors, have throughout most of history been the majority population in the Holy Land. In Jerusalem Jews were always the largest demographic group [1][2], except for periods when conquerors specifically threw them out and prevented them from returning.

When General Allenby, the commander of the British military forces, conquered Palestine in 1917/1918, only a few thousand Muslim Arabs resided in the Holy Land. Most of the Arabs were Christians, and most of the Muslims in the area either came from Turkey under the Ottoman Empire, or were the descendants of Jews and Christians who were forcefully converted to Islam by the Muslim conquerors. These Muslims were not of Arab origin. Most references to Arabs in Palestine before 1917 refer to the Christian Arabs, not to the Muslims.

It is important to note that estimates and censuses conducted by the Muslim conquerors were biased. Therefore, the only reliable data is provided by non-Muslim sources. Tourists and politicians, Arabs and non-Arabs alike, have documented their observations of the population in the Holy Land beginning more than a thousand years ago. Let’s start at the early days and continue into the Ottoman period:

· The historian James Parkes wrote: “During the first century after the Arab conquest [640-740 CE], the caliph and governors of Syria and the Holy Land ruled entirely over Christian and Jewish subjects. Apart from the Bedouin in the earliest days, the only Arabs west of the Jordan were the garrisons.”[3]

· In year 985 the Arab writer Muqaddasi complained: “the mosque is empty of worshipers… The Jews constitute the majority of Jerusalem’s population” (The entire city of Jerusalem had only one mosque?). [4]

· In 1377, Ibn Khaldun, one of the most creditable Arab historians, wrote: “Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel extended over 1400 years… It was the Jews who implanted the culture and customs of the permanent settlement”.[5]

· In 1695-1696, the Dutch scholar and cartographer, Adriaan Reland (Hadriani Relandi), wrote reports about visits to the Holy Land. (There are those who claim that he did not personally visit the Holy land but collected reports from other visitors.) He was fluent in Hebrew and Arabic. He documented visits to many locations. He writes: The names of settlements were mostly Hebrew, some Greek, and some Latin-Roman. No settlement had an original Muslim-Arab name with a historical root in its location. Most of the land was empty, desolate, and the inhabitants few in number and mostly concentrated in Jerusalem, Acco, Tzfat, Jaffa, Tiberius and Gaza. Most of the inhabitants were Jews and the rest Christians. There were few Muslims, mostly nomad Bedouins. The Arabs were predominantly Christians with a tiny minority of Muslims. In Jerusalem there were approximately 5000 people, mostly Jews and some Christians. In Nazareth there were approximately 700 people – all Christians. In Gaza there were approximately 550 people – half of them Jews and half Christians. Um-El-Phachem was a village of 10 families – all Christians. The only exception was Nablus with 120 Muslims from the Natsha family and approximately 70 Shomronites.[6]

· In 1835 Alphonse de Lamartine wrote: “Outside the city of Jerusalem, we saw no living object, heard no living sound … a complete eternal silence reigns in the town, in the highways, in the country.”[7]

· In 1844, William Thackeray writes about the road from Jaffa to Jerusalem: “Now the district is quite deserted, and you ride among what seem to be so many petrified waterfalls. We saw no animals moving among the stony brakes; scarcely even a dozen little birds in the whole course of the ride.”[8]

· In 1857, the British consul in Palestine, James Finn, reported: “The country is in a considerable degree empty of inhabitants and therefore its greatest need is that of a body of population.”[9]

· In 1866, W.M. Thomson writes: “How melancholy is this utter desolation. Not a house, not a trace of inhabitants, not even shepherds, to relieve the dull monotony … Much of the country through which we have been rambling for a week appears never to have been inhabited, or even cultivated; and there are other parts, you say, still more barren.”[10]

· In 1867, Charles Wyllys Elliott, president of Harvard University, wrote: “A beautiful sea lies unbosomed among the Galilean hills, in the midst of that land once possessed by Zebulon and Naphtali, Asher and Dan … Life here was once idyllic, charming … It was a world of ease, simplicity, and beauty; now it is a scene of desolation and misery.”[11]

· In 1867, Mark Twain – Samuel Clemens, the famous author of “Huckleberry Finn” and “Tom Sawyer”, toured the Holy Land. This is how he described the land: “There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent – not for thirty miles in either direction. There are two or three small clusters of Bedouin tents, but not a single permanent habitation. One may ride ten miles, hereabouts, and not see ten human beings. … No man can stand here by deserted Ain Mellahah and say the prophecy [“and your land shall be desolate and your cities waste”] has not been fulfilled … We had left Capernaum behind us. It was only a shapeless ruin. It bore no semblance to a town, and had nothing about it to suggest that it had ever been a town … These unpeopled deserts, these rusty mounds of barrenness… A desolate country whose soil is rich enough but is given over wholly to weeds. A silent, mournful expanse… the country is infested with fierce Bedouins, whose sole happiness it is, in this life, to cut and stab and mangle and murder unoffending Christians. Allah be with us! … A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action. We reached Tabor safely. We never saw a human being on the whole route … After a while we came to a shapeless mass of ruins, which still bears the name of Bethel. There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil, had almost deserted the country… No landscape exists that is more tiresome to the eye than that which bounds the approaches to Jerusalem…. we were marching down a close, flaming, rugged, desolate defile, where no living creature could enjoy life, except, perhaps, a salamander. It was such a dreary, repulsive, horrible solitude! … Ancient Jericho is not very picturesque as a ruin… The journey to the Dead Sea, the Jordan and Bethlehem was short, but it was an exhausting one. Such roasting heat, such oppressive solitude, and such dismal desolation cannot surely exist elsewhere on earth… Of all the lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince….It is a hopeless, dreary, heart-broken land… I would like much to see the fringes of the Jordan in spring-time, and Shechem, Esdraelon, Ajalon and the borders of Galilee–but even then these spots would seem mere toy gardens set at wide intervals in the waste of a limitless desolation. Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes. … one finds only a squalid camp of fantastic Bedouins of the desert… Nazareth is forlorn… Jericho the accursed, lies a moldering ruin, … Bethlehem and Bethany, in their poverty and their humiliation, … is untenanted by any living creature… Renowned Jerusalem itself, the stateliest name in history, has lost all its ancient grandeur, and is become a pauper village… The noted Sea of Galilee … was long ago deserted … Capernaum is a shapeless ruin; Magdala is the home of beggared Arabs; Bethsaida and Chorazin have vanished from the earth… a solitude that is inhabited only by birds of prey and skulking foxes. Palestine is desolate and unlovely.”[12]

· In 1874, Reverend Samuel Manning wrote: “But where were the inhabitants? This fertile plain, which might support an immense population, is almost a solitude…. Day by day we were to learn afresh the lesson now forced upon us, that the denunciations of ancient prophecy have been fulfilled to the very letter — “the land is left void and desolate and without inhabitants.” (Jeremiah, ch.44 v.22)[13]

· In 1881, the British cartographer Arthur Penrhyn Stanley wrote: “In Judea it is hardly an exaggeration to say that for miles and miles there was no appearance of life or habitation.”

· In 1892, B. W. Johnson writes: “In the portion of the plain between Mount Carmel and Jaffa one sees but rarely a village or other sights of human life… A ride of half an hour more brought us to the ruins of the ancient city of Cæsarea, once a city of two hundred thousand inhabitants, and the Roman capital of Palestine, but now entirely deserted… I laid upon my couch at night, to listen to the moaning of the waves and to think of the desolation around us.”[14]

· In 1913, a British report, by the Palestinian Royal Commission, quotes an account of the conditions on the coastal plain along the Mediterranean Sea: “The road leading from Gaza to the north was only a summer track, suitable for transport by camels or carts. No orange groves, orchards or vineyards were to be seen until one reached the [Jewish] Yabna village. Houses were mud. Schools did not exist. The western part toward the sea was almost a desert. The villages in this area were few and thinly populated. Many villages were deserted by their inhabitants.”

As we can see, throughout history, as documented by Arab historians and by foreign observers before 1917, the land was desolate; there were practically no Muslim Arabs in the cities outside of Jerusalem (except 120 Muslims in Nablus); and the number of Muslim Arabs (other than Ottoman Muslims or Christian Arabs) was minuscule, most of them nomadic Bedouins. In 1695 there was not a single Muslim Arab in Gaza, Nazareth, and Um-El-Phachem. All Arabs there were Christians. The difference between these multiple authentic accounts and the falsified Muslim-Arab propaganda is huge, almost beyond imagination.

Mark Twain’s description of the Holy Land has been the target of severe Muslim criticism. However, earlier and later visitors to the Holy Land all give the same description of desolation, misery, and lack of inhabitants, thus confirming Mark Twain’s observations.

Neville Chamberlain, in a speech given at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, 13 Oct. 1918, said: “A great responsibility will rest upon the Zionists, who before long will be proceeding with joy in their hearts to the ancient seat of their people. Theirs will be the task to build up a new prosperity and a new civilization in old Palestine, so long neglected and misruled. They will carry with them the hearty goodwill of the British nation and its earnest hope that in their own country they may prove worthy of their past and of the great opportunity that has been given to them.”

When the Holy Land was taken from the Ottomans by the British, it was no longer under Muslim control. The Quran commands Muslims to take land away from non-Muslims, including land which they have never trodden on before[15]. Following the British conquest of the Holy land, the Muslim Arabs embarked on a massive immigration into the Holy Land, fulfilling their religious obligation to capture as much foreign land as possible. The following accounts describe the massive Arab immigration after 1918:

· In 1930/31, Lewis French, the British Director of Development wrote about the Arabs in Palestine: “We found it inhabited by fellahin (Arab farmers) who lived in mud hovels and suffered severely from the prevalent malaria… Large areas were uncultivated… The fellahin, if not themselves cattle thieves, were always ready to harbor these and other criminals. The individual plots changed hands annually. There was little public security, and the fellahin’s lot was an alternation of pillage and blackmail by their neighbors, the bedouin (Arab nomads).”

· The British Hope-Simpson Commission recommended, in 1930, “Prevention of illicit immigration” to stop the illegal Arab immigration from neighboring Arab countries.[16]

· The British Governor of the Sinai (1922-36) reported in the Palestine Royal Commission Report: “This illegal immigration was not only going on from the Sinai, but also from Transjordan and Syria.”

· The governor of the Syrian district of Hauran, Tewfik Bey El Hurani, admitted in 1934 that in a single period of only a few months over 30,000 Syrians from Houran had moved to Palestine.

· British Prime Minister Winston Churchill noted the Arab influx. Churchill, a veteran of the early years of the British mandate in the Holy Land, noted in 1939 that “far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population.

The Arab population in the Holy Land increased only because of their massive immigration from neighboring Arab countries. Before 1918, when the Arab immigration started, only a minuscule number of Muslim Arabs lived in the Holy Land, practically all of them in Jerusalem. This is why it is so difficult to find an old-age Muslim-Arab whose grandparents were born in the Holy Land.

While the Holy Land was ruled by the Muslim Ottomans, despite large waves of Jewish Zionist immigration, there were practically no conflicts between the Jews and the few local Arabs. Jews and local Arabs lived peacefully together. This peaceful co-existence ended after 1918, when the large waves of foreign Muslim-Arab immigration started, following the British conquest. Up until 1948 the British restricted Jewish immigration and encouraged Muslim-Arab immigration. It is the landless foreign Muslim-Arabs who immigrated after 1918 that started the conflict, NOT the zionistic Jewish immigration between 1881-1914, which was a peaceful period. For example, in 1929, the Hebron Massacre of the local Jews was done by foreign Arabs, not by the established local families who lived there and even tried to defend the Jews.

The Quran explicitly encourages lying and deception if it helps Muslims achieve a desired goal [17][18][19][20]. To deny the massive invasion of the Holy Land by foreign Muslims, the falsified Muslim-Arab propaganda claims that it is a myth. If it is indeed a myth, how can anyone explain the following simple observations?

· The grandparents of the author’s wife were born in the Holy Land in the 19th century. They saw with their own eyes how empty the land was at the time. They also lived through and experienced first-hand the British conquest and the Arab’s massive invasion of the land that started in 1918. This invasion lasted for only 30 years, and ended in 1948 with the evacuation of the British from the land and the declaration of the state of Israel.

· One of the readers of an earlier version of this article sent the author a similar description by his grandfather. His grandfather was one of the founders of Petach Tikvah (in 1878). The grandfather described to his children and grandchildren how empty and desolate the land used to be. Arabs started immigrating to the Holy Land with the hope of finding employment in the new Jewish villages.

· The family names of many Arabs who now occupy the Holy Land reveal their country of origin: Masri (from Egypt), Iraqi (from Iraq), Tarabulsi (from Tarabulus-Tripoli in Lebanon), Hourani (from Houran in Syria), Husseini (from Jordan), and Saudi (from Saudi Arabia).

· Following the publication of an earlier version of this article, the author received an email message from a reader who used to work with Arabs in Gaza and in various villages in the West Bank in the 1970’s. In his email the reader describes friendly discussions about family history with his Arab co-workers. Most of the co-workers had grandfathers who immigrated to the Holy Land from neighboring countries.

When Churchill said that “the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population.” was he lying? Churchill was not a Muslim…

The name “Palestina” is a Latin-Roman name based on the Hebrew Biblical name of the ancient “Philistines” — “Plishtim” in Hebrew. The translation of this name to English is: “invaders”. The Philistines arrived from the Mediterranean islands near Greece and invaded the land about 4000 years ago. The Philistines are extinct since approximately 2000 years ago, and have no ancestral or historical relationship to Arabs. Before 1917, during the 400-years rule of the Ottoman Empire, the Ottomans did not call the Holy Land … “Palestina”. The British decided to renew this ancient name and officially called the land “Palestine”.

The term “Palestinian” was used in reference to Jews not to Arabs. The “Anglo-Palestine Bank” founded in 1902/3 was a Jewish bank which later became “Bank Leumi”. The “Palestinian Post” founded in 1932 was a Jewish paper that later became the “Jerusalem Post”.

The local Arabs never called themselves “Palestinians”, not even during the British mandate. Both Arab and British leaders referred to them only as “Arabs”. For example: The Hope-Simpson report[16] published by the British in 1930, contains the phrase “the number of Palestinian unemployed, whether Arab, Jew or other…”. “Palestinian” was used only as an adjective in reference to the location and also included Jews. The Arab inhabitants were always referred to as “Arabs”. The word “palestinians” does not appear anywhere in this report. “Palestinian Arabs”, “Palestinian Jews”, and “Palestinian Christians” were common terms. But, “Palestinians”, as a noun, before 1948, was not yet invented.

After 30 years of invasion, following the end of the British mandate and the declaration of the state of Israel in 1948, the Arabs recognized the fact that they invaded foreign land and invented for themselves a name in English — “Palestinians”. If the British were to call the land “New England”, and the local Arabs were to call themselves “English” would they automatically become English? It is important to emphasize that the concept of a “Palestinian” to describe the local Arab residents was invented by the Arabs AFTER the declaration of the state of Israel. This group of Arabs, who started calling themselves “the Palestinian nation” after 1948, does not have an original name in their native Arabic language.

Is there any nation in the world which does not have a name in its original native language? The Arabs who invaded the Holy Land do not have a name in their native Arabic language because they are not, and have never been, a unified group or a nation. Most of those Arabs cannot even pronounce the word “Palestinian”. They pronounce it “Falestinian”.

Historically, a “Falestinian” people never existed. The fact is that the Arabs, who now try to call themselves by the English name “Palestinians” and mis-pronounce it “Falestinians”, don’t even know what their name is in Arabic. Even Arab leaders and historians have admitted that a “Palestinian” people never existed. For example:

· In 1937, the Arab leader Auni Bey Abdul Hadi told the Peel Commission: “There is no such country as Palestine. Palestine is a term the Zionists invented. Palestine is alien to us.”

· In 1946, Princeton’s Arab professor of Middle East history, Philip Hitti, told the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry: “It’s common knowledge, there is no such thing as Palestine in history.

· In March 1977, Zahir Muhsein, an executive member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), said in an interview to the Dutch newspaper Trouw: “The ‘Palestinian people’ does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel.”

· Joseph Farah, an Arab-American journalist, writes: “The truth is that Palestine is no more real than Never-Never Land. Palestine has never existed as an autonomous entity.

· Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist acknowledged the lie he was fighting for: “Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian? … we considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians. They removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag.”

· The Syrian dictator Hafez Assad said: “There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity“.

· Dr. Azmi Bishara, a notable leader of the Arabs in Israel, who fought against the Israeli “occupation”, said in a TV interview[21]: “There is no Palestinian nation. It’s a colonial invention. When were there any Palestinians?” To see a clip of the interview click here.

The Arabs who now claim to be natives of the Holy Land have migrated to Palestine and invaded the land after 1917, from neighboring Arab countries, predominantly from areas now known as Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. None of these countries existed as nations prior to 1913. They were nothing but a disorganized collection of tribes, constantly terrorizing each other, trying to seize land from their neighbors. Unfortunately, those Arab invaders, imported into the Holy Land their age-old “culture” of terrorizing neighbors to seize land. Many of them were social outcasts and criminals who could not find jobs in their own countries so they searched for their luck elsewhere. Some of them were accepted by the British regime as a source of cheap labor and were allowed to settle on unoccupied Jewish land. Even Yassir Arafat, the leader of the PLO, is not a native of the Holy Land. He called himself a “Palestinian refugee” but spoke Arabic with an Egyptian dialect. He was born in 1929 in Cairo, Egypt. He served in the Egyptian army, studied in the University of Cairo, and lived in Cairo until 1956. He then moved to Saudi-Arabia and founded the Al-Fatah terror organization, the precursor to the PLO, in Kuwait in 1958, together with his Saudi-Arabian friends. How exactly does that constitute a “Palestinian refugee”? Being born in 1929 in Cairo, he cannot even be considered a son of Palestinian refugees (there were no refugees in 1929). Arafat must have been a good student of Muhammad, the founder of the Muslim religion, who said in the Quran: “War is deception”.[17]

In their propaganda, the Arabs who now call themselves “Palestinians” consistently demand that Israel and the world recognize their “pre-1948” rights. That’s about 60 years ago. Mysteriously, they are never willing to add another 60 years to their “historical” claims on the Holy Land. They know very well that doing so will send them back to where they came from – Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. Years ago, during negotiations with the, so-called, “Palestinians”, an Israeli negotiator proposed to revise a mention of their claim of “pre-1948” rights and replace it with “pre-1917”. The “Palestinians” vehemently opposed. Now we know why.

If there is anyone who still believes that a “Palestinian” nation ever existed before the end of the British mandate and the founding of the state of Israel, would they please be kind enough to answer when was it founded and by whom? What was its name in Arabic (not in Latin-English)? What was its form of government? What were its borders? Name one top “Palestinian” leader before Arafat? Which country ever recognized its existence and when? In which library or museum can we find any of its literature, coins, or historical artifacts? The answer to all these questions is “nil”. As stated by Zahir Muhsein: “The ‘Palestinian’ people does not exist.”

Some Arabs consider themselves the descendants of Abraham, the forefather of the Jewish nation. Ironically, if not for Muhammad’s study of the Bible, the Arabs would not have known of the existence of Abraham. Muhammad invented the Muslim religion in the 7th century AD, in Saudi Arabia. He studied the Bible in order to be better equipped in his attempts to persuade the Jews to follow his newly invented religion. When the Jews refused, he dictated the stories of the Quran (the Muslim bible) to his students, and filled it with his own imaginary accounts of Biblical events. (Muhammad himself did not know how to read or write.) He even took the liberty to change the God-given day of rest, Saturday – the Sabbath. Since Sunday was already taken by the Christians, he picked Friday as the next-best Muslim day of rest.

Muhammad never visited Jerusalem and the Holy Land, and did not consider them important enough to mention their name in the Quran even once. By comparison, Mecca and Medina, the only two Muslim holy cities, are mentioned in the Quran hundreds of times. Even though the name of the Holy Land is not mentioned in the Quran, the Quran refers to the Holy Land many times as the land of the children of Israel.[22] [23] [24][25].

The Jewish Holy Temple stood on Temple Mount long before the Muslim religion, or any other current world religion was conceived. Even when the founders of the Christian religion walked around in the streets of ancient Jerusalem there were no mosques nor churches there – only the Jewish Holy Temple and nothing else. The land of the Jewish Holy Temple in Jerusalem was purchased by King David, for the Jewish people, approximately 850 years BCE. The deed, the name of the previous owner, and the purchase price were recorded in the Bible (See Samuel-B Ch. 24 and Chronicles-A Ch. 21-22).

Today the Muslim “Palestinians” claim to own Temple Mount, the site of the Jewish Holy Temple in Jerusalem. They claim it is “their” holy site. Does anyone in the rest of the world know which way the Muslims in Jerusalem face when they pray? When the Muslims in Jerusalem pray in their mosques, even in the “Al Aktza” mosque built on the edge of Temple Mount, they face their holy city Mecca and stand with their back turned to Temple Mount. When they bow down in their prayers they show their behind to the location of the Holy Temple. How consistent is that with considering it a Muslim holy site?

The Muslims have long ago recognized that the Holy Temple is a Jewish holy site. Its name in Arabic is “Al Quds” – “The Holiness” in English, which is an abbreviation for “The House of Holiness” – The Jewish Holy Temple. The fact is that Jerusalem is not important enough to the Muslims to be mentioned even once in the Quran, while Mecca and Medina, the only two Muslim holy cities, are mentioned hundreds of times. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, up until 1967, they never considered it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.

Can any Muslim in the world produce any credible evidence for their connection to this holy site, other than in Muhammad’s dream? Believe it or not, the one and only source for the Muslims’ claim to Jerusalem and the site of the Holy Temple, is a mention in the Quran of a dream that Muhammad had about an unknown “far distant place of worship (mosque)”[26]. This “far distant place of worship” could not have been in Jerusalem, because in Muhammad’s time there was no worship taking place at the site of the Holy Temple and there was not even a single mosque in Jerusalem. The first mosque in Jerusalem was built 83 years after Muhammad died. Perhaps this “far distant place of worship” is the site of the Vatican in Italy?

The best reference for understanding the Muslim-Arab mentality and politically-motivated falsification of history is Muhammad’s own advice to his followers: “War is deception”[17][18][19][20].

The real problem facing those Arabs today is not the lack of a homeland. The historical root-cause of their problem and frustration is the fact that the countries they came from have not agreed to accept them back in. This is why so many of them live, up until today, in refugee camps, in neighboring Arab countries, lacking fundamental civil rights. In their frustration they feel that the only hope and choice they have is to try and steal a country. Many of the vehicles and the agricultural equipment in the Palestinian Authority have been stolen from their Israeli neighbors. For a while, Israel suffered the highest rate of automobile thefts in the world! Most of these stolen vehicles were later found in towns and villages of the Palestinian Authority. If invading foreign land is so easy; if stealing vehicles is so easy; why not try and steal a country too?

There is only one possible solution to the “Palestinians” desire for a homeland. It is the only solution that will satisfy their claim of the right to return to their homeland. Since helping them return to where they lived for less than 30 years is their own definition of justice, then helping them return to where they lived earlier for hundreds or thousands of years is, by the same definition, a better justice. Let’s all help them get the better justice they deserve. Let’s help them return to where they came from – Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.

Recent proposals have suggested a two-state solution to the Israeli-Arab conflict – one for the Jews and one for the Arabs. The map below shows that a much more generous solution already exists – 21 states – one for the Jews and twenty for the Arabs.

The 21-state solution proposal infuriated some Arabs. This is not the solution they wanted. They wanted negotiations leading to a compromise over how much of the Land of Israel they can get.

Imagine that, while you are away on vacation, your neighbor invades your home and settles there. When you come back, you ask him to leave. He says: “I entered an empty building. It is my home.” You say: “This is my home, get out of here.” To avoid escalating the situation, your neighbor proposes a compromise: “You get half the building and I get half the building.” How would you respond?

The Quran contains more than 100 verses commanding Muslims to fight a war against non-Muslims[27]. Some verses command Muslims to chop off heads and fingers and terrorize and kill non-Muslims[28]. Other verses command Muslims to take land away from non-Muslims[15]. Muslims are also prohibited from living in peace with non-Muslims on non-Muslim land[29]. Anyone who avoids fighting against non-Muslims is punished. Because of such religious commandments, there is no chance and no hope that Muslims will ever live peacefully together with non-Muslims who live on non-Muslim land. Temporary periods of calm are nothing but a waiting period – waiting in ambush – waiting for an opportunity to strike[30].

During the rise of Islam, Muhammad tried to convert the Jews of Medina to Islam. When they refused, he murdered them. The Muslims who conquered northern Africa during the 7th and 8th centuries, did the same. Only those who converted to Islam, or managed to hide, survived. Jews who refused to convert were massacred. In Morocco, in the 8th century, whole communities were wiped out by Muslim ruler Idris ibn Abdullah. Even as late as the 19th century, In Morocco, more than 300,000 Jews were murdered between 1864 and 1880 – their only offense being their refusal to convert to Islam.

History proves that a population exchange is the only possible solution, other than war, to conflicts between Muslims and non-Muslims. For example, in 1923, the war between Turkey and Greece ended only when both sides agreed to a population exchange of more than two million Muslims and Greek-Orthodox Christians. Similarly, in 1947, more than 14 million Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs, have exchanged locations in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

About 820,000 Jewish refugees have relocated out of the Arab countries; about 560,000 of them moved to Israel and 260,000 moved to other countries. The number of Jewish refugees who relocated out of Arab countries, is a little larger than the total number of Arabs who lived in the Holy Land in 1947. Between 472,000 and 650,000 Arabs, who invaded the Holy Land during the past 30 years, returned to their neighboring Arab countries, while 160,000 remained in the State of Israel after 1948 [31]. Now it is time to end the conflict between Jews and Muslims in Israel. The only possible peaceful solution is to complete the second half of this Jewish-Muslim population exchange by returning the remaining Muslims in the Holy Land back to the Arab-Muslim countries where they came from. As we can see in the map above, there is no shortage of space in the Arab-Muslim countries.

32) There are only three possible ways to end this kind of a conflict: 1) peace; 2) war; and, 3) population exchange. There are those who believe that Israel needs to accept the presence of the Muslim Arabs who now reside in the Holy Land, just like other invaders and conquerors remain in many other countries. What this means is that the consequences of invasions and wars need to be accepted. Such legitimization of the consequences of war is, in effect, legitimization of war. If Israel is expected to accept the consequences of the Arabs’ presence, then the Arabs should also be expected to accept the consequences of the wars with Israel. I find the fact that the Israeli government pulled their video “Open your eyes. Terror rules Gaza” exposing the reality that Hamas is an Islamic terrorist organization, under Western Pressure, QUITE ANNOYING. But it should come as no surprise. Jew-hatred has been around since Biblical times. The descendants traced from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have face many occasions in which Jew-hatred with the object of destruction came sometimes justly but most often UNJUSTLY.

The Bible records God Almighty allowed punishment against the Hebrew tribes (ultimately called Jews after the last surviving Davidic Kingdom of Judah) for slipping away from their Covenant. The Jews experienced unjust destructive violence first for desiring an independent Jewish nation (Maccabees vs. Syrian remnants of Alexandrian Empire), independence from Roman suzerainty (experiencing mass dispersion after Bar Kochba [or Kokhba or Kokba]) revolt, obsessive Christian persecution from Europeans [See Also HERE] (Christ-killer blood libel and world domination blood libel) and as well as Muslim persecution encoded in the Quran (among other Islamic writings through to this present day).

Since the last Diaspora forced by the Romans the Jews living in their God ordained land was a minority UNTIL – the 20th century. Toward the end of WWI the British through the Balfour Declaration (1917) promised a return of the Jews to their Biblical Homeland. As a European power that was a member of the winning team in WWI the newly formed League of Nations awarded Administration of the Holy Land as the British Mandate of Palestine in 1922. There were 28 Articles in the Palestine Mandate and here is the introduction or preamble (uncertain if there is an actual name for that section):

The Council of the League of Nations:

Whereas the Principal Allied Powers have agreed, for the purpose of giving effect to the provisions of Article 22 of the Covenant of the League of Nations, to entrust to a Mandatory selected by the said Powers the administration of the territory of Palestine, which formerly belonged to the Turkish Empire, within such boundaries as may be fixed by them; and

Whereas the Principal Allied Powers have also agreed that the Mandatory should be responsible for putting into effect the declaration originally made on November 2nd, 1917, by the Government of His Britannic Majesty, and adopted by the said Powers, in favor of the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, it being clearly understood that nothing should be done which might prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country; and

Whereas recognition has thereby been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country; and

Whereas the Principal Allied Powers have selected His Britannic Majesty as the Mandatory for Palestine; and

Whereas the mandate in respect of Palestine has been formulated in the following terms and submitted to the Council of the League for approval; and

Whereas His Britannic Majesty has accepted the mandate in respect of Palestine and undertaken to exercise it on behalf of the League of Nations in conformity with the following provisions; and

Whereas by the afore-mentioned Article 22 (paragraph 8), it is provided that the degree of authority, control or administration to be exercised by the Mandatory, not having been previously agreed upon by the Members of the League, shall be explicitly defined by the Council of the League Of Nations;

Largely due Jewish scientist (Pro-Zionist Chaim Weizmann) aid to the British war effort (Pronounced by PM Lloyd George but denied by Weizmann) clearly the land to be labeled Palestine was created as a future sovereign national Homeland for the Jewish people. (See more precise data at JewishHistory.org)

Just an aside here. Everyone should realize the name “Palestine” was derived from the Roman Emperor Hadrian attempt to wipe all things Jewish away after Bar Kochba’s short lived Israel liberation movement. Hadrian renamed the Jewish Homeland Palestina. The anglicized version is Palestine. Hadrian purposely used longtime enemies of Israel (i.e. the Philistines) that had zero racial connection to the Jews to wipe all things Jewish off the Roman map.

The British original intention for the name “Palestine” during the mandate to reference Jews not Arabs. The Arabs only started to adopt the name (HERE and HERE) Palestinian after 1967 when Israel defeated several invading Arab armies recapturing Judaea/Samaria and Gaza. Those areas had been occupied by invading Arab armies in 1948 trying to destroy the nascent declared Independent State of Israel who then had the purpose to drive Jews into the sea.

Now it looks like the United Nations are flowing with the propaganda originating from the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. The UNHRC Report blames both Israel and Hamas; however Israel points out there are many holes in accusations against the IDF for war crimes.

“Just one year has passed since the Israel Defense Forces were required to stand, as a protective edge, for the people of Israel. We lost many of our loved ones, and we still await the return of two of our late sons, and we still hope for the recovery of the wounded. Also last summer, the IDF proved its strength, ability, and above all, its uniqueness, and the ethical and moral place which it holds.

I am proud, as all of Israel should be proud, of the moral strength, and the military abilities of the Israel Defense Forces. I do not see how anybody could judge us and tarnish our name. The moral dilemmas which we face require split-second decisions, when we have a duty and a right to defend the citizens of Israel – women, children, babies – under attack, and when our enemy tramples international law and uses its people as human shields.

As strong as we are, and as sophisticated as our capabilities are, it is incumbent upon us to ask: When do we use force, how do we use it and for what purpose. I have no doubt that the soldiers and officers of the IDF know to ask this question in a timely manner, and to make difficult decisions in real time, without the need for investigations by external bodies. Only one who understands what force is, understands it limits.”

False statistics about civilian casualties were put out by Hamas ministries and then adopted without question by the UN, “human rights” groups, and the media to create the narrative that “most” or “almost all” or the “vast majority” of deaths were civilian.

We were well aware of the allegations made by some governments, the United Nations, human rights groups and the media, that Israel acted outside the laws of armed conflict in Gaza. Some have suggested that the IDF lacked restraint or even deliberately targeted innocent civilians.

Our findings lead us to the opposite conclusion. We examined the circumstances that led to the tragic conflict last summer and are in no doubt that this was not a war that Israel wanted. In reality Israel sought to avoid the conflict and exercised great restraint over a period of months before the war when its citizens were targeted by sporadic rocket attacks from Gaza. …

The sad fact is Hamas and Palestinian Authority Arabs that call themselves Palestinians have been engrained with Jew-Hatred ever since the days of their false prophet known as Mohammed (or Muhammad or Mohamet or whatever). I read a Middle East Quarterly post on the creep that exploited the Muslim encoded religious hatred of Jews to do all he could to keep Jews from returning to their Homeland before and after WWII. The notorious figure was Muhammad Hajj Amin Husseini who managed to squirrel his way with British help to become the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. This nefarious individual actually hooked up with Adolf Hitler himself to find Nazi support in aiding der Further in the Nazi Final Solution for Jews in the Muslim world. Husseini began by recruiting Bosnian Muslims to be Muslim Waffen SS Jew exterminators in the Eastern European area in what would be a Communist Yugoslavia after WWII.

Egyptian Yasser Arafat who eventually led the PLO and then the PA, a consummate terrorist in his own right was an early disciple of al-Husseini at age 16. Arafat hero worshipped the old Grand Mufti so much that some sources list Arafat as a nephew, others as a distant cousin and others as a close hero worshipper.

And now it is time to read the MEQ story on the founder of modern Muslim Jew-hatred – Muhammad Haj Amin al Husseini (or the remarkable amount of alternative spellings).

Hajj Amin Husseini’s Anti-Semitic Legacy

The Jerusalem mufti, Muhammad Hajj Amin Husseini, leader of the Palestinian Arabs from the early 1920s to the late 1940s, is widely known for his close collaboration with the Nazis during World War II. Aspects of the collaboration remain to be more thoroughly scrutinized.[1]However, and without discounting his culpability for the collapse and dispersal of Palestinian Arab society (or al-Nakba, the catastophe, as it is called by Palestinians and Arabs), Hajj Amin’s role in shaping Muslim perceptions of Jews might be a far more important and lasting legacy than his political activism in Palestine, Germany, or elsewhere.[2] An important source supporting this fact is a booklet he authored for Muslim soldiers enlisted in the Nazi SS division in Bosnia.

During the mufti’s stay in Berlin in 1941-45, he befriended Hitler’s right-hand man, Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler. Himmler’s fascination with Islam and the mufti’s zealous support for the Nazi cause resulted in several common enterprises, notably the establishment of a volunteer Waffen-SS division in Bosnia, made up mostly of Bosnian Muslims, later named the Handzar division. Most books about the division display photographs of its soldiers—distinguishable by its insignia on uniform lapels and fez headgear—reading a booklet titled Islam und Judentum—most certainly the German version of the mufti’s Croatian or Bosnian pamphlet Islam i židovstvo (Islam and Judaism).

In whatever language the pamphlet was originally written, the intended readers were Muslims (Bosnian or otherwise) and not Germans. This author has been unable to locate a German copy of the pamphlet, but it is reasonable to regard the text written in the language of the Bosnian Muslims (at the time called Croatian) as the most relevant. A translation of the booklet is presented below, followed by an analysis of its significance and far reaching implications.[3]

Islam and Judaism (Islam i židovstvo)

For us Muslims, it is unworthy to utter the word Islam in the same breath with Judaism since Islam stands high over its perfidious adversary. Therefore, it would be wrong to carry out comparison of those two generally different counterpoints.

Unfortunately, it is insufficiently known that animosity between Islam and Judaism is not of a recent date. It reaches long back in history, all the way to the time of the Prophet Muhammad. This short historical overview will demonstrate the importance and perfidiousness of Jewry and its animosity toward the founder of Islam, the Prophet Muhammad.

Jews are known in history only as a subjugated people. Their vulgar[4] nature and insufferable stance toward the nations that offered them hospitality, and toward their neighboring nations, are the reason that those same nations had to resort to [certain] measures in order to suppress a Jew’s efforts to obtain his[5] desire by force.

The history of antiquity shows us that the pharaohs were already forced to use all means against Jewish usury and Jewish immorality. Ancient Egyptians finally expelled the Jews from their land. Led by Moses, the Jews then arrived in the Sinai desert.

Arab theologian Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari [839-923 C.E.] narrates that the Jews even wanted to kill their leader and savior Moses when he came back from Mount Sinai. Because of that, God punished them, and they had to meander in the wilderness for forty years. It should have brought them to their senses, and the new generation should have been cleansed from the low esteem of their fathers.

Following that, the Jews spread like locust all over the Arab peninsula. They came to Mecca, to Medina, to Iraq, and to Palestine, which is the land of milk and honey. The group of the Jews that came to Syria and Palestine was now under Roman rule. The Romans, however, soon discerned the peril that threatened the land from the Jews, and so they introduced harsh measures against them. Besides that, a serious, contagious illness of plague erupted, which was by common opinion brought into the land by Jews. When even medical doctors stated that the Jews were indeed the source of the infection—and their opinion was obviously correct—there arose among the people such upheaval against the Jews that many Jews were killed. In addition, that event is the reason why the Jews have been called “microbes” in Arabia to this very day.

The Arabs have a particular understanding for introducing forceful measures against Jews in Germany and for their expulsion from the country. After the [First] World War, England and America enabled the Jews to settle in Palestine and to establish a Jewish state there. Jewish excrement from all countries assembled there, rascally striving to seize the land from Arabs. And indeed, they succeeded in buying land from the poorest of the poor and from unscrupulous landlords. By doing so, they took poor widows’ bread and stole food from children to fatten themselves.[6] When the Arabs opposed the Jewish settlement, the Jews did not shun bloody murders. So they robbed many families of their livelihood and threw the families into misery and troubles. (God will punish them for those disgraceful deeds).

The Jewish struggle against Arabs is nothing new for us, except that as time passed, the location of the battlefield changed. Jews hate Muhammad and Islam, and they hate any man who wishes to advance the prosperity of his people and to fight against Jewish lust for possessions and Jewish corruption.

Struggle between Jews and Islam began when Muhammad fled Mecca to Medina where he created the base for the development of Islam. At that time, Jews were merchants, already permeated with guile, and they understood that Muhammad’s influence, in both the spiritual and business spheres, could turn into a danger for them. Thus they were possessed by a deep hatred toward Islam; hatred that intensified as Islam was growing more solid and powerful. The Jews breached the agreement they had concluded with Muhammad in Khaibar, of which we shall speak later. Moreover, their rage grew immensely when the Qur’an revealed the deepest inclinations of their soul, their heartlessness, and unscrupulousness by which their ancestors had been commonly known. At that time, the Jewish methods were already the same as they are today. Their weapon has been, as always, slander and quarrel, and so they attempted to humiliate Muhammad in the eyes of his followers. They claimed that he was a deceiver, an enchanter, and a liar. When they did not succeed in this, they attempted to undermine Muhammad’s honor by spreading a rumor that his wife Aisha committed adultery. The purpose of spreading such a rumor was to sow doubt in the hearts of Muhammad’s followers.

When that failed, they tried to show Muhammad’s teaching in a bad light. With that purpose, several Jews converted to Islam; only a few days later, they returned to the Jewish faith. When asked why they changed their mind so suddenly, they replied that they were very willing to settle in Islam but found that all of it is nothing but a lie. The following Qur’anic verse alludes to that:

Many of those knowledgeable in the Scriptures attempt to somehow render you infidels again by converting to our religion. It was, though, nothing but their souls’ envy, when they comprehended truth.[7]

When the Jews understood that they would not reach their goal by the means used until then, they started to ask Muhammad various meaningless and unsolvable questions. Thus, they wanted to convince others that Muhammad was poor in knowledge and wisdom. However, that method achieved no success. As they were thus persuaded that Islam was deeply rooted in the hearts of the Muslims, they commenced with the attempts to destroy the Muslims. Pursuant to that goal, they paid some non-Muslim tribes to fight against Muhammad. The almighty God, however, wanted it differently. With iron fist, Muhammad defeated the rebellious tribes and conquered their city. The Jews could not bear such a defeat, and so they decided to destroy Muhammad in every way. They hired men to murder him.

The Medina Jews lived in the city district of Banu Nadir. When Muhammad came to Medina, he concluded a contract with them. One day he set out to that city district, accompanied by only ten companions, to talk to the Jews and to try to convert them to Islam. Muhammad explained the principles of Islam to the Jews, and they seemed very interested and open-minded. Yet as Muhammad was talking in a friendly way with some of the Jews, another group prepared an attempt on his life. They persuaded a man to throw a piece of rock on Muhammad’s head. Surely Muhammad would have been killed were it not for God, who warned him. An inner voice advised him to leave that place, and so the treacherous Jews could not carry out their design. Consequently Muhammad sent a companion to deliver his message to the Jews to leave the city within ten days. They had breached the contract they concluded with him by trying to take his life. Any Jew found in the city after those ten days would be punished by death.

However, some of the Jews, who outwardly accepted Islam but in their innermost remained Jewish, persuaded other Jews not to leave the city. When the ten days passed, Muhammad was forced to expel the Jews from the city by armed force. Part of the Jews fled to Khaibar and part to Syria.

The Jews who fled to Khaibar, however, would not concede defeat and decided to avenge themselves on Muhammad. For that purpose, they turned to other Khaibar Jews and to the Jews of Taima and of Wadi Qura. Together they plotted a conspiracy: With large sums of money, they agitated non-Muslim Arab tribes to attack Medina. When Muhammad discovered their plan he quickly armed his men and set out toward the plotters’ base in Khaibar. Muhammad’s companions captured Khaibar and expelled most Jews from the site. With the remaining Jews, Muhammad concluded a contract by which peace was guaranteed.

Only after that devastating defeat [of the Jews] could an Islamic Empire peacefully develop. But when one takes into account the Jewish significance, it was not to be wondered that Jews, in spite of the agreements made, did not abandon their plans and continued to try to destroy Muhammad by all available means. They invited him to a feast, and he accepted the invitation suspecting no evil. In front of him was placed a roasted lamb prepared by the Jewess Zainab, wife of Sallam ibn Mishkam.[8] The [topic of] conversation around the table was the contract and a peaceful life in mutual agreement in which they now lived. Muhammad had not the slightest suspicion about treason. The Prophet and his faithful companion Bashr ibn Bara each took a piece of lamb meat. Muhammad, however, did not swallow his bite because its taste made him suspicious.

“The bone tells me that the lamb was poisoned,” he said and called the Jewess Zainab to ask whether the meat had been poisoned. She answered, “You know I am highly esteemed by the Jews, and I acknowledge that I have poisoned the lamb. In so doing, I thought that if you were a king, I would only kill a king, but if you were indeed a prophet, you would know that the meat had been poisoned.”

Muhammad’s companion soon succumbed to the poison’s effect, whereas Muhammad, despite spitting the poisonous bite, later suffered various health disorders, and the impact of the poison had always been evident. Some historians even believe that Muhammad’s death was a consequence of that poisoning. In this matter, they refer to a hadith by Abu Huraira, whereby the Prophet said shortly before his death, “The effect of Khaibar’s feast will manifest in me until I die!”[9]

We, the Muslims, must always bear in mind the Khaibar feast. If the Jews betrayed Muhammad in such a way, why wouldn’t they treacherously persecute us today with the purpose of destroying us?!

Many books about the Waffen-SS division in Bosnia display photographs of its soldiers reading a booklet titled Islam und Judentum—most certainly the German version of the mufti’s Croatian or Bosnian pamphlet Islam i židovstvo (Islam and Judaism). The booklet offers a stark illustration of the lengths taken by the mufti to demonize Jews and Judaism and clearly was produced for propaganda and incitement purposes.

Now, the Jews were persuaded that Muhammad was immune to their attacks. Therefore, they made a decision to spread discord among the Arab tribes, so as to break the power of Islam. When Muhammad went back to Medina, he succeeded in reconciling the Arab tribes of Kawsha and Karasha,[10] which had been fighting each other ceaselessly for 120 years. In doing so, he significantly strengthened Islam’s position. Members of those two [formerly] hostile tribes became brethren in Islam, and peace
entered the city. In this regard, the Jews tried to undermine the Islamic empire.

A revengeful old man by the name of Shas ibn Qais one day walked with his friends and came across an assembly of the reconciled tribes held in city square. He could not bear to see how [the members of] those two tribes, formerly at war with each other, now communicated nicely, and so devised a hellish plan. He sent to their assembly a friend of his, knowledgeable in war poems, and persuaded him to recite some of his old poems that were full of hatred. That Jew, an outstanding orator, came indeed to the assembly and started to recite old war poems of both tribes. By doing so, he managed to find in each tribe a man in whom old hatred flared up. Those two men started to fight each other and then urged their fellow-tribesmen to take up arms. An immense tragedy would have ensued were it not for Muhammad, who learned about the fight amongst brethren and hurried up to the battlefield.

“Oh my God, are the old times returning even while I am still amongst you!” he shouted. “When I gave you Islam as religion, the old fratricidal discord was buried, and you became brothers in your hearts. Do you wish to slip into infidelity again?”

Both tribes understood that disturbances among them were sown by the Jews alone. They threw away their weapons and asked God for forgiveness, and then they hugged each other and concluded a new brotherly alliance. Regarding Shas ibn Qais the Jew, it is said in the Qur’an,

Oh, you scribes,[11] why do you prevent the believer from walking on God’s path when you are witnesses yourselves? But God is not blind for what you do.[12]

Regarding the tribes of Kawsha and Karasha, the Qur’an said,

Oh, you who believe, would you listen to those who received the Scripture, so that they would turn you into unbelievers again, after you have received faith! How can you be infidels when God’s words were read to you, and his apostle is among you? He who holds unto God has already been introduced to a straight path.[13]

Notwithstanding their attempts, the Jews never succeeded in spreading division among Muhammad’s followers and in dragging them back into infidelity. However, even after all these events should have taught them the futility of their efforts, they persistently continued to carry out their devilish plans. Once, they tried by deceit to even bring down Muhammad himself.

There was a quarrel between two Jewish tribes, and the side that was wrong held an assembly and sent its leaders to Muhammad. Those Jewish leaders said to Muhammad, “You know that we are influential people. If you support us in our dispute with our opponents, we will apply all our influence to make all Jews convert to Islam.” Muhammad, of course, dismissed them. There is a verse in the Qur’an about this event:

Be careful to make decisions according to what God has revealed and not to consider their desires. Keep your guard toward them so that they would not even partially shift you from what God has revealed to you. If they rebel, know that God will surely punish them for a part of their sins. There are, indeed, many men who are evildoers.[14]

Another example of Jewish subversive action was recorded by Ibn Abbas. At the time when Muhammad went from Mecca to Medina, prayers were directed toward Jerusalem. However, it lasted only for seventeen months. Then Muhammad received God’s revelation that the direction of prayers should be Mecca, and ever since, prayers are uttered with faces turned to Mecca. The Qur’an says about this:

We see how you turn your face toward heaven, and we would like to give it a direction which you will like: Turn your face toward the holy place of prayer; wherever you find yourselves, turn your face in that direction. Don’t you see that even those who had received the Scripture know that it is the truth before their Lord? And God is never heedless of what they do.[15]

When the Jews found out about this Qur’anic verse, they were angered and asked Muhammad to return to the previous direction of prayer, which was Jerusalem. Were he to do so, they promised, all Jews would accept Islam. Muhammad, however, did not allow himself to be led astray by such a proposal and to transgress against God’s command. We find the following in the Qur’an about that:

The direction to which you used to turn in prayer until now we have changed only for the purpose of distinguishing those who follow apostles from those who turn on their heel. That was surely difficult but not for those led by God. And God does not want to destroy your faith because God is full of goodness and compassionate to men.[16]

Here is another example how the Jews did not hesitate to stab Muhammad in the back at the time of his utmost distress. When Muhammad won the Battle of Badr, he sent a messenger on his own camel, because that camel was the fastest, to carry the news about his victory to Medina. The Jews, however, tried to bring confusion into the Muslims’ ranks by spreading false rumors that Muhammad had been killed in the battle. As evidence, they pointed out that Muhammad’s camel returned to the city with another rider.

When even that design failed, the Jews turned to Mecca to incite Muhammad’s enemies against him. Moreover, they declared their readiness to support the Meccans in their fight against Muhammad with an army of theirs. When the pagans of Mecca asked the Jews—since the Jews had received the Holy Scripture even before Muhammad—whether or not Muhammad’s religion was good, the Jews answered, “You know that we are men of letters. Believe us, therefore, when we tell you that your religion is much better.” The following verse is in the Qur’an about this:

Don’t you see those who received the Scriptures? They believe in Jibt and Taghut [superstition and idolatry], but they nevertheless say about pagans that their way is better than believers’ way. Those are the ones whom God has cursed, and he who was cursed by God cannot be helped.[17]

As we see, that curse came true. Without a homeland, the Jews are scattered throughout the whole world, and nowhere do they find true help and support. Another Qur’anic verse reads:

You will certainly find out that the greatest animosity toward the believers foster the Jews and the pagans.[18]

That idea has been even better expressed by words of Muhammad: “It will never be possible for you to see a Muslim and a Jew together without secret intention in the [heart of the] Jew to destroy the Muslim.”[19] Abu Huraira passed to us the following hadith:

Judgment Day will not come before the Muslims completely destroy the Jews, and when every tree with a Jew hidden behind will say to the Muslim, “There is a Jew behind me, kill him!” Only the gharqad tree, which is a small bush with many thorns growing around Jerusalem, will not participate in it because it is a Jewish tree! [Bukhari-Muslim VIII, p. 188].

Assessing the Pamphlet

The booklet Islam and Judaism offers a stark illustration of the lengths taken by the mufti to demonize Jews and Judaism. Qur’anic passages are freely paraphrased without reference to sura and verse while apparent quotations (like those about Jews converting insincerely to Islam in order to drag Muslims away from their faith) are nowhere to be found in the Qur’an, certainly not in the translation by Muhammed Pandža and Džemaluddin Čaušević[20] used by Yugoslav Muslims since 1937. Indicating the pamphlet’s clear propaganda and incitement purpose, this sloppiness reflected both Hajj Amin’s poor religious credentials and his apparent conviction that the pamphlet would not be subjected to critical scrutiny or even read by believers well-versed in the Qur’an. For, though bestowed with the title of Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Mandatory Palestine’s highest religious authority, it was common knowledge at the time that Hajj Amin did not possess the necessary religious credentials for such a lofty post. Indeed, he even failed to make the final short-list for the mufti’s post having received only nine of the electors’ sixty-four votes; but the Husseinis and their British champions forced one of the final three candidates to step down in his favor, paving the road to his appointment.[21]

Some of the pamphlet’s assertions indicate the mufti’s deficient familiarity with Islamic history and theology. Nor was Hajj Amin averse to introducing novelties and fabrications for the purpose of defaming Jews. His text contains details with an unconventional interpretation of Qur’anic accounts, some of them erroneous. He accuses the Jews of having “attempted to undermine Muhammad’s honor by spreading a rumor that Muhammad’s wife Aisha committed adultery.” But renowned Islamic scholars, including Tabari, to whom the mufti refers in the booklet, do not mention the Jews at all in the context of this event: Aisha’s accusers were all Arabs. Some came from the tribe of Kharzaj; at least one was from the Quraish, Muhammad’s tribe, and another was the sister of Muhammad’s wife. Their names are listed in both Ibn Ishak’s and Tabari’s accounts of the event. After God revealed Aisha’s innocence to Muhammad, some of the accusers were punished by flogging.[22]

Furthermore, the mufti claimed that Muhammad attacked Khaibar because its Jews bribed Arab tribes to attack Medina. The sources, however, do not mention any such activity by the Khaibar Jews. Khaibar was in alliance with the Arab tribe of Ghatafan—which at this point seemed to be rather defensive—with the Quraish, and with the Persians. Muhammad’s attack occurred shortly after he concluded the peace of Hudaibiya (March 628) with the Meccans. It is hard to envisage that Muhammad’s enemies would plot an attack from the north without Meccan support. On the contrary, it seems that he concluded the peace of Hudaibiya to secure his southern front so as to be able to attack the Khaibar Jews, whose Persian allies had just been defeated by the Byzantine army.[23]

There remains a deep connection between Islamism and Nazism based on the common characteristics of racism, nationalism, religious bigotry, and intolerance. Hitler’s Mein Kampf has been a bestseller for years in predominantly Muslim countries, including the Palestinian Authority and Turkey.

There was, however, an event reminiscent of the mufti’s story that occurred a year earlier. The Jews of Medina had invited the Quraish and Ghatafan tribes to attack Muhammad. It was at this point, after the Battle of Badr, that the Quraish asked the Jews whose religion was better, theirs or Muhammad’s. Encouraged by the Jews, the two tribes marched on Medina, and their subsequent abortive attack came to be known as the Battle of the Ditch. After their retreat, Muhammad attacked Medina’s Jewish tribe of Banu Quraiza.[24] It seems likely that the mufti—unless he intentionally invented stories, a possibility that cannot be ruled out—confused the episode of the Banu Quraiza with that of Muhammad’s war on Khaibar.

Far more important than these technical details and idiosyncratic interpretations are the novelties the pamphlet introduces in Islamic political discourse regarding the Jews. By combining the Islamic canon with pre-Christian and Christian anti-Judaism, it attributes strengths and powers to Jews that cannot be found in Islamic tradition by portraying them as far more cunning and successful in their vicious designs than previous mainstream Islamic thought had recognized or permitted.

A simpler example of this anti-Jewish eclecticism can be found in the mufti’s accusation that Jews brought plague to Arabia. This statement evokes medieval European myths with similar themes. More significant is the notion that Muhammad’s death might have been a result of poison given to him by a Khaibar Jewess.

To be sure, Ibn Ishak and Tabari do mention how during the illness that led to his death Muhammad spoke to Umm Bashr, mother of his poisoned companion, and complained about his pain, caused by poisonous meat he had tasted three years earlier.[25] However, in classic Islamic thought, this tradition was not interpreted as proof that the Jewess had succeeded in her attempt on the Prophet’s life but as a desire to attribute to the Prophet the highest of virtues: martyrdom. In Ibn Ishak’s words, “The Muslims considered that the apostle died as a martyr in addition to the prophetic office with which God had honored him.”[26] Tabari repeats this explanation, as does Ibn Kathir (1300-73), who referred to eight different hadiths asserting that Muhammad had been warned by God about the poison: proof of his being a genuine prophet. Conversely, Ibn Kathir states that “the Messenger of God died a martyr.”[27]

The core theme of all these traditions is the Prophet’s martyrdom and not the Jews’ lethal craft; the reader is left with the clear impression that the two phenomena were unrelated. In contrast, the mufti’s pamphlet establishes the link and changes the emphasis from the Prophet’s virtue to the Jews’ mendacity. Apparently, his intention was to draw parallels with Christian traditions regarding Christ’s killing by the Jews. This accusation was intended to provoke more anger among Muslims, but it also violated Islamic tradition and theology.

The implications of the mufti’s claim that the Jews were successful in killing Muhammad despite God’s warning imply that Jews possess the power to defy God’s will. Such a blasphemous thought would be worse than Christian accusation of deicide. Jesus overcame death, and by his suffering, death and resurrection brought salvation to his community of believers; however, Muhammad not only remained dead but also failed to appoint his successor due to the rapid progression of his illness and his sudden, untimely demise. Consequently, the umma was split by different claimants to authority, and the dispute eventually led to the fiercest internecine strife in the history of early Islam, known as the fitna.

While the mufti’s Palestinian successors would not tire of reiterating this story (as late as November 2013, Palestinian Authority minister of religious affairs Mahmoud Habbash claimed that Yasser Arafat was poisoned by the Jews just as they had poisoned the Prophet Muhammad to death),[28]most contemporary Islamic scholars have a different understanding of this hazardous theology; inasmuch, the accusation that the Jews killed the Prophet has largely faded as a theological theme with mainstream Islamic commentary viewing the Jews, along the Qur’anic derision, as “adh-dhilla wa-l-maskan,” translated by Yehoshafat Harkabi as “humiliation and wretchedness.”[29] Bernard Lewis further explained:

The outstanding characteristic, therefore, of the Jews as seen and as treated in the classical Islamic world is their unimportance. … For Muslims, he might be hostile, cunning, and vindictive, but he was weak and ineffectual—an object of ridicule, not fear. This image of weakness and insignificance could only be confirmed by the subsequent history of Jewish life in Muslim lands.[30]

Departing from this conventional view, the mufti did not interpret contemporary events as a new historical phenomenon to which Muslims should respond in a new, ad hoc manner. Instead, he traced Jewish accomplishments of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, and the alleged Jewish power and ambitions, to supposed Jewish activities at the time of Muhammad. In doing so, he created a precedent, later followed by prominent Islamic actors in the Middle East and elsewhere, particularly after Israel’s stunning military victories over its Arab adversaries. Thus Hamas accuses the Jews of “wiping out the Islamic caliphate” by starting World War I and of starting the French and the communist revolutions, establishing “clandestine organizations” and financial power so as to colonize, exploit, and corrupt countries.[31] Likewise, former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Muhammad accused Jews of ruling the world by proxy.[32] Attributing such gargantuan accomplishments to the Jews, many of them at the expense of Muslims, presents a theological innovation with an immediate political consequence. Linking early Islamic with medieval Christian depictions of Jews results in their portrayal as “a demonic entity,” thus making their “extermination legitimate.”[33]

Stop Funding the Palestinian Authority


There is no such thing as a Palestinian people. Those claiming so are Arabs that hate Israel and Jews. Those Arabs are supporters of Islamic terrorists under names such as the PLO (essentially the Palestinian Authority), Hamas, Islamic Jihad and probably a few others I can’t name from memory. Stop Funding the Palestinian Authority

PETITION TO THE UNITED STATES AND EUROPEAN UNION

We, the undersigned, urge that the United States and the European Union to suspend aid to the Palestinian Authority. Since the Oslo Accords in 1993, the PA has actively participated in campaigns to demonize Israel, incite terror against Israeli citizens and glorify any anti-Israel activities. Since 2014, the PA has entered a unity agreement with Hamas, an internationally recognized terror organization whose Charter specifically calls for the destruction of the State of Israel, and by extension the Jewish People.

Most recently the PA has filed for membership in the International Criminal Court (ICC) with the sole purpose of prosecuting the State of Israel for alleged war crimes committed during Operation Protective Edge. This renders funding the Palestinian Authority to be in direct violation of US law.

Funding the PA is equivalent to funding terror and is against US law.

The PA Does Not Want Peaceful Coexistence with Israel

Time and again, the PA has failed to promote peaceful coexistence with Israel. Here are some of the FACTS about the PA’s agenda to destroy Israel:

§ Education – PA schools teach young children that Jews are the enemy and must leave Palestinian land, which they say includes all of Israel, or be killed.

§ Funding Terror – “The Palestinian Prisoners’ Law” provides a monthly salary to inmates convicted of terrorism-related offenses against Israel.

§ Embezzlement – PA President Mahmoud Abbas admits giving $46 million in US foreign aid to Palestinian prisoners. US tax dollars are funding PA terror.

§ War Crimes – A majority of Palestinians supported Hamas during the 2014 war they started against Israel by firing more than 4400 rockets from Gaza at Israeli civilians.

§ Partners in Terror – The PA has also openly supported terrorist groups (Hamas, Hezbollah) in firing more than 20,000 rockets and mortars into Israel since 2001.

§ Unilateral Statehood – President Abbas’ attempts to establish a Palestinian state at the UN Security Council show his unwillingness to negotiate in good faith with Israel.

Financial Support for the PA Violates Many US Laws

The Obama Administration and Congress violate US law by providing economic aid to the PA, especially since the establishment of a unity government with Hamas.

The Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act of 2006 prohibits any US funds from going to Hamas, Hamas-controlled entities, or a power-sharing PA government that includes Hamas as a member, or results from an agreement with Hamas. In addition, the Act prohibits American support for the PA until it agrees to “recognize Israel, renounce violence and disarm.” Incitement to terror, payments to prisoners guilty of terrorism and its partnership with Hamas make it illegal for the US to provide any funding to the PA under this law.

The 2014 Consolidated Appropriations Act (Sec.7040) prohibits “assistance to Hamas or any entity effectively controlled by Hamas, any power-sharing government of which Hamas is member, or that results from an agreement with Hamas and over which Hamas exercises undue influence.” The PA’s unity government with Hamas makes it ineligible for US funds under this law.

H.R. 3547 Sec. 7041 prohibits “the availability of Economic Support Fund assistance under this Act for the PA if… the Palestinians initiate an International Criminal Court (ICC) investigation, or actively support such an investigation, that subjects Israeli nationals to an investigation for alleged crimes against Palestinians.” PA head Abbas has applied to the International Criminal Court to prosecute Israel for its alleged war crimes and for its “occupation” of Judea and Samaria – an act that makes it illegal for the US to continue to provide funding to his government under this law.

Blood Money: Funding the PA is Supporting Terrorism

We urge President Obama and the US Congress to suspend aid to the PA unless it “takes specific steps to renounce and eradicate terror.” We also urge the European Union and world leaders to recognize the Palestinian Authority as a supporter of terror and cease all funding immediately.

Ari Bussel sent me CC email to me that had sent to an individual who wanted Ari’s thoughts to a news story entitled “In tense West Bank city, she secretly meets Israelis to talk peace”. The article is about an Arab (those people who made up the non-existent Palestinian people) young lady that muses on why don’t those brutal Israelis and those occupied Palestinians just get along and coexist. The title of this post is by the Editor for Ari sent with the subject line “Re: Please read.

It does not make mockery of the Boycotters, the article highlights and promotes boycott.  Note – even water.  Chocolates are not essential, and milk products taste better from Israel.  Well, too bad.
 
I am not sure I would call the article “anti-Semitic.”  It is sophisticated and slick and very much anti-Israel.  It serves a great purpose – it confuses one to think that Israel is guilty at not wanting peace.  Here is a champion on the other side (note her shoes, fluent English, Western look).  She is not a religious fanatic.  She is not a terrorist.  When Israeli soldiers treat her with disrespect, she smiles in return.  Oh, what a fuzzy, warm feeling.  One can melt from the love.
 
One way to immediately identify the real intentions of the writer can be found toward the end.  The “ONE STATE SOLUTION.”  Note, it is no longer a “two states, living side by side” idea.  Just tear down the wall, remove the borders and (soon) (throw the Israelis to the Sea)!  Hallelujah!
 
My heart aches.  We are the worse type of criminals.  Animals.  Worse still.  We (apparently) killed hundreds of children, defenseless and innocent.  Their only crime?  Being born and raised in Gaza with Israel as the Evil neighbor.
 
The poison keeps dripping, the dosage ever increasing. 
 
I have to stop to breathe.  In the middle of this Yahoo! News (mainstream, respected name), there is an advertisement by the Christian Science Monitor.  I thought – wrongly – I may find solace there.  Instead, I found the top ten companies one should boycott because of their affiliation with the ill-intention Body of Israel.
 
So here is an extremist reply (and I am a Centrist, as everyone knows so well):  She meets twice a month (or once every two months) with Israelis in an attempt to establish a footprint of reasonableness.  This must be stopped – for her own good of course!  Do you know what harm can befell her from the hands of these deceitful, ill-intentioned Israelis? 
 
And on the Israeli side – stop this foolishness.  Or maybe decide to move to Gaza to help them there.  Become a human shield against the Israeli War Machine!
 
I am encouraged and inspired:  Bring Down The Walls, and let’s dance over the ruins.  Then we can freely roam Palestine (it is our ancestral home) and kill the Jews!  They defiled our land.  They are about to deliberately topple down our holiest of holies, in our eternal capital, Al Quds!
 
Oh, does everyone remember the celebrations we had on 9/11 some 13 years ago?  And much more recently when the three Zionist Agents were found dead (most likely by their own Mossad, only to blame us for killing young people)!  I am just hurting that one of us was then so brutally murdered by Israeli Settlers in a blood revenge.  [They will still pay the price.  Ten times over!  A hundredfold!]
 
A bright future is ahead of us.
 
One small problem:  If she was so concerned with “Peace” (i.e. the destruction of the Jewish State and the elimination of the Jewish People), how about starting right at home, fighting the glorification of terrorists, trying to define what “peace” really means to them, not for Western consumption.
 
Until then, Israelis and Jews alike are trapped in this web of honey and lies, and the sweet poison keeps dripping, drip, drip, drip, while the patient (The Body Israel) is misled to believe this is therapy, succumbing to the euphoric feeling of heroin. 
 
If we do not learn to recognize the buzz words and the signs, we will soon be dead.

Ari Bussel writes about a Panel Discussion event that was kind of billed as a fair and balanced presentation of Israel and the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. If you are not aware, you will be astonished to learn there are Left-slanted Jews that are full-in for the creation of a sovereign Palestinian State. You probably won’t be surprised that Leftists are 100% behind the Left-slanted Jews. I personally am astonished at the level of ignorance at some Mainline Denominational Churches that support the creation of a Palestinian State to the point of promoting boycotting, divesting financial investments and sanctioning the State of Israel because the nation’s government is not moving fast enough to establish a Palestinian State. AND it should be shocking to ALL Americans that lies are constantly told as truths by Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. And finally it is completely ludicrous when certain American leaders refuse to admit that anti-Israel sentiment is tantamount to Antisemitism.

“I have every right to be angry!” so says one of the “Irvine 11” – the Muslims who in February, 2010, disrupted then Israeli ambassador to the US, Michael Oren, at a talk at the University of California, Irvine, and were subsequently arrested.

 

Almost five years later he sits as part of a panel discussing the role of USA in Israel/Palestine.  He is by far the most militant, and certainly the most frightening.

 

From right to left, there are two Jews on the panel, a Christian and two Muslims.

The moderator is from a local progressive/liberal radio station, KPFK.  My colleague, with whom I write this series, once applied to this station.  She quickly withdrew her application when she understood she would be expected to restrict her stories to anti-Israel.

 

Humming in the back of my mind throughout the evening is our own radio program on Christian radio, “Conversations Eye to Eye.”  Perhaps we should do the same outreach as this progressive station, “broadcasting from remote locations with live audience participation.”  Talking to its own chorus of misguided believers and haters, the station has created the impression to their listeners that they are representing a majority opinion, not an outer fringe of lunatics.

 

Tonight, there are three sane people among almost one hundred Israel haters.  And there is one variety of hatred:  the strongest.

 

Mistake not, the very presence of Jews does not absolve or allow the perpetrators their doing.  They pay homage to an appearance of civility and claim to be critical of Israel’s policies but not against the Jewish people.  This said they then go on a constant attack that is tantamount to the expression of anti-Semitism in all its venom.

 

This panel was scheduled for the very last evening of the Jewish year by an organization purporting to be a “Jewish Voice for Peace.”  In truth, it is worse than some of Israel’s sworn enemies.  Being “Jewish” is solely utilized to attack Israel with supposed credibility and impunity, and often quite successfully so.

 

Do not even try to find a grain of positivity toward Israel.  Her major sin is her very existence. But “we are Jewish, we hate Israel and will do everything to bring her down” is dressed in a gown of “peace” and ornamented with numerous sparkling words:  equality, human rights, respect for international law, self-determination.  I am sure I saw “Justice” somewhere, but it eludes me for now.

 

Yet even such marvelous jewels cannot hide the evil underneath.  Alas, Satan and his minions compose those in attendance, and the dress is done, indeed, for one’s own benefit and appeasement of the soul.  Let the Ball begin!

 

None of the major local Jewish organizations heeded the call to participate.  Interesting, since it is exactly these organizations that normally would not miss any opportunity at interfaith dialogue and some publicity.

 

I glance at each of the panelists from right to left:

 

First is the Lion of Judea.  I see the thoughtful, believing and honorable Jew.  He made me proud and thankful.  He came prepared, for he only knows the truth and has nothing to hide.  But he was unprepared for what was to take place, a drop of pure water in a bucket full of tar.

 

Next is the Jew who tries to appease, weak, confused and thus respected by none.  To the Jews he represents the extreme left, while to our enemies he is not to be trusted.

 

In the middle, a Christian, quick to retort and extremely well spoken in a most dangerous and sneaky way.  Indeed, a “national leader and speaker for faith-based justice advocacy,” there is no doubt she does very well in the art of debate.  But whereas the Christians I know are “People of the Book,” who put virtue on a pedestal, she, like the “Jewish” Voice for Peace uses religion as a means; once utilized can be tossed away.  She talks about action to support one’s faith, but when the action is to bring down Israel, I have neither respect nor tolerance for her.  Nor would Jesus in His time or His faith today.

 

A Muslim (or a Muslim-sympathizer) who is self-centered and so full of hatred he might explode.  He is on a book tour, and was this week at the Levantine Cultural Center.  Like “Jewish Voice for Peace,” the “Cultural Center” has a single agenda, and Israel cannot be toppled soon enough.  The author, whose book is in the back for sale, works for “US Campaign to End the Occupation.”

 

And last among the five panelists is the national campus coordinator of “American Muslims for Palestine,” our “I have every right to be angry-and-do-something-about-it” recruiter.  He is unabashed and unafraid.  “Europe has fallen and the US is next,” he declares.  He is angry, and the anger must be appeased.  Like his fellow-panelist from the Christian faith has said, faith without action is dead, and his action is the most frightening of all.

 

Satan could not be prouder.  There is a very specific agenda, and all roads lead to its fulfillment.  Varying degrees of blindness, but his followers are able and ready.  He stands and rubs his hands with joy, looking at the dream team in front, immensely excited, “oh, what a night!”

Truth tries to find a way in, but the walls are as deep as they are high, wide and impenetrable.  The moderator has read many of the audience’s questions, written on 3×5 cards.  He specifically skipped the following for Angry Taher Herzallah:  “Have you joined, or will you join, the Islamic State (ISIS, ISIL or IS)?”

 

ISIS, ISIL, or IS.  Anyone familiar with their operations and modus operandi would know that what was permitted on this stage was the perfect recruiting for IS.  It was staged exactly like the beheadings.  Every element carefully calculated and crafted for maximum effect.

 

The Head Recruiter for tonight’s gathering is neither ashamed nor careless.  He is well grounded and aware nothing can happen to him.  His actions are fully calculated, and he constantly pushes the boundaries, to see how much we would tolerate.

 

He looks around knowing he has the upper hand, for Americans are weak and afraid to take action.  They fall in their own vomit while he is exercising his most elementary right of free speech.  He fights for his “brothers and sisters” and his true belief.  No harm can come to him.

A fine line separates free speech from hate speech and he is aware.  But he also knows we Americans are too politically correct, and who, among an audience of 100 believers, would stand to protest what is being said?

 

For him, the only “JUSTICE” is the elimination of Israel, and all roads are permissible to achieve that end.  Similarly, to achieve a global Islamic Caliphate, all methods are acceptable, including but not limited to public beheadings for international consumption, systematic murders of dozens, hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands (of their own faith) and rape and enslavement of women.

 

Are we naïve or stupid?  How do we allow such public gatherings?  While we have started to take action against IS in Syria and elsewhere, we allow the spread of the very same ideology and methodology right here at home, and the only thing missing is a public announcement:  “There is a sign-up sheet in the back.” Would we have allowed Nazis to march in Washington while we battled Hitler?

 

As Satan stands and watches, he envisions posters materializing all around, with slogans our current president likes so much to use so often: “Islam is a Peaceful Religion.”  “Worry not from Jihad, it is a misunderstood word.”  “ISIL is not Islamic, nor does it represent the true tenants of Islam.”  “There is no ‘Terrorism’ or ‘Terrorists,’ only ‘Extremism’ and ‘Extremists.’”

 

The participants are excited, watching their every desire fulfilled.  Finally, someone who understands their plight, misery, misgivings and call for justice.  JUSTICE!  Supported by these miserable Jews and by some Christians.  Worry not:  They will be the first to go when we achieve our goals.  [That is exactly what happened to early supporters during the rise of Communism.

I Am Israel

I sat mesmerized.  The event was fantastic beyond even my own imagination.  I recognized a few people, and they recognized me.  I was not there in a press capacity, but actually came because I have been following the actions against my people for many years.  But midway through the evening, one of the organizers whispered in my ear:  “It is good my father is not here.  He reads Hebrew, you know” (referencing my weekly column in Hebrew that has never stood silent in the face of Israel hatred).

 

BDS

Just a week earlier, I sat at a presentation by a local Israeli philanthropist about the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction Israel movement (“BDS”).  It was an “intellectual salon,” held by a local non-profit that I support.  A theoretical study, much like looking at slides of archeological findings rather than venturing into the field, participating in digs and learning first hand the craft and science.

 

Neither the philanthropist nor any of those who heard his presentation was among the audience for the discussion of “Peace in Israel/Palestine.”  A missed opportunity, like so many others.

 

Quite a pity, because if anyone wants to learn about BDS first hand, or preempt what takes place at major churches in the USA or in Corporate America, one should come to the lion’s den and witness the work on the ground, be exposed to the elements, learn to identify the currents and understand the motivation behind the action plan.  How else would one be expected to attempt to control the situation as it dynamically develops into a most successful frenzy against Israel and the Jewish people?

Faith without action is dead, but here there is so much action driven by misguided believers, that the success refuels the faith and the end result seems closer than ever.

 

“Bring BOYCOTT! To your community or campus” says one of the handouts.  “The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) and the Center for the Study of Political Graphics (CSPG) created the exhibition to educate audiences about economic activism and to inspire people to act on their principles.”  And we are offered an exhibition “available for presentation in school, community and gallery settings without charge.”

 

We are called to learn about major US BDS campaigns at endtheoccupation.org/bds, bdsmovment.net, and pacbi.org.  Like IS, they understand the strength of disseminating information.  Moreover, they are not limited by a short time horizon.  They know that success does not happen overnight.  They will lose once, twice, thrice, maybe even four, five or six times.  But then the tide will turn and they will start winning.  In the meantime, the poison continues to drip.  Drip, drop, drip, drop, until a critical mass is achieved and a torrent finds its way through.

 

How and why? Because by then, they will have changed the hearts and minds of the general population.  Lies told often enough become “truth,” to the point reasonable (and reasonably-informed) people become confused.  It seems logical that Israel is the Goliath.  Israel with her military might.  Israel that engages in ethnic cleansing and genocide.

 

Alas, the Jewish experts on “BDS” were not present.  This is truly a pity, for “expertise” is learned by experience, not solely by assigning someone to create a presentation from the Internet.

 

None of the organized Israeli or Jewish community was there either.  We must not dismiss what was taking place as an extreme outer fringe of lunatics.  While this may be exactly the case, they are most effective in what they do, and we fail, exactly because we refuse to study what they do; until it is too late. One virus can kill millions.

 

Tales of the Middle East

 

Our IS-style, militant Muslim speaker states he recognizes Israel’s existence, but not her “Right” to exist.  This he fights with all his might, and he is quite effective in garnering supporters to the cause.

 

He tells us of going to what-today-is-known as Beer Sheva (the capital of the Negev, Israel’s southern part).  He asked to see the house where his father once lived, and to which he still holds keys, but the woman who opened the door spat and slammed the door in his face.

 

I wonder how can it be that Israel has allowed a person like him, a clear and present danger to her very existence, entrance.  Israel, after all, does engage in all unspeakable and disallowed manners prohibited in the USA (like “Profiling”).  Then I remember, stories may not be true to the facts, any connection to reality is purely coincidental and the story of people coming to see their “properties” I know first hand.

My uncle’s wife, who inherited with her twin sister their parents’ house in Israel’s artists’ village Ein Hod, receives many visitors who come to see and buy artwork.  One such group asked her permission to pick up some fruit from a pomegranate tree planted, so they said, by their parents.  They, too, so they claimed, have keys to the house.

 

My uncle’s wife is not a woman with whom to meddle.  Her deceased parents planted the tree when she was a kid, she said and escorted the uninvited guests out, without permitting them to enjoy the fruits.

 

I also recalled another story, one told by someone affiliated with AFSC.  Reportedly, the “sister,” “mother,” or otherwise the storyteller herself was detained at an Israeli checkpoint for so many hours that she lost her baby (apparently she was in advanced stages of pregnancy and the wait was bad for her).

 

Such a story is so far from the truth (as Israel’s enemies routinely are permitted inside Israel for medical treatment, and Israeli doctors – both Jewish and non-Jewish – treat them as they would any human being, with the utmost care, professionalism and concern) that I would normally dismiss it.

In Judaism, bringing a new life to the world is one of the most important happenings, for people are all created in the image of the Almighty, and the sanctity of life is greater than anything else.

 

Thus, when a woman fails to reach a hospital in time, it does happen that she gives birth on the side of the road, with the person helping the delivery then appearing on the nightly news, alongside the mother and newborn.  However, something fantastically flawed is happening routinely at “Checkpoints.”  The Arab women seem to always be detained on their way to Israeli hospitals … and without fail to lose their babies.

 

But again, why let facts stand in the way of fiction, especially when the later serves a greater purpose? For some reason people are so quick to believe a negative.

 

There are so many dead newly born infants, due to the mothers being detained or refused passage at “Checkpoints” (most of which were dismantled long ago) that it has reached the proportions of a plague.  Except this specific plague—alongside several others—are only in the minds and on the lips of Israel’s haters.

 

We Demand, You Submit

 

Welcome to the world of AFSC, JVP, MSU, CAIR, MPAC and like-organizations.

 

Our side is not present.  Mainstream Jewish organizations refuse to participate in this charade.  And “Charade” is exactly what it is:  “an absurd pretense intended to create a pleasant or respectable appearance.”

 

There was nothing respectable or pleasant during the panel discussion, but the most illuminating point was the preface by the moderator, requesting the audience to respect the speakers and not interrupt, then proceeding without losing a breath to describe Taher Herzallah as one of those who heckled Ambassador Oren.

 

Heckled was the word used, not mine.  Heckled:  interrupt (a public speaker) with derisive or aggressive comments or abuse.

 

Permissible to them but prohibited to others.  It is OK to interrupt any Israeli or Jewish speaker, permissible and necessary.  Demand the “right of free speech” but deny it to anyone else.

 

Absurdity dances at Satan’s Ball.

 

Any pretense of civility and respect soon departed the hallway.  At first, the Jewish speaker was treated with the title “Mr.” The “Mr.” was quickly dropped, the Jew was belittled (“how low would they—the Jews—stoop”) and eventually he was ignored altogether.

 

Likewise, the Muslims use the very same recipe time and again.

 

When one is unable to prevail on the facts, one would attack the other side, and if one is unable to eliminate the other side (America has not fallen yet, and one cannot simply beat up, behead or shoot those with whom he disagrees or those he does not like), then the appropriate course of action is to ignore, as if they do not exist.  (Their day will come, have faith!)

 

Our Response

 

What does one do in face of such hatred?  Does one engage?  Participate?  Boycott?  Ignore?  There are various options, and generally we have chosen to stay away, close our eyes and hope that the storm will not gather strength but disappear.

 

Some major Jewish organizations prefer “to work quietly behind the scenes.”  That, history teaches us, works as much as appeasement or Chamberlain’s “Peace in Our Lifetime!”

 

Thus joined a new word to our vocabulary (“delegitimization”) alongside “dehumanization” and rose a global movement of BDS, likely the most effective grassroots movement of the 21st Century.

 

The Jewish panelist (not the apologist) used everything in his arsenal:  tact, respect, history, facts, reason, logic and commonsense.  He even employed love and his own childhood.  He did not get angry (even if inside he likely was close to exploding).  He answered each point and expanded with statistics and explanation for those who actually cared to know.

 

Attacked

Nothing helped.  There is a “One State (Final) Solution,” and that state will not be a Jewish State.  In fact, it should be free of any Jews, for they are colonialists who stole a land not theirs.  They (the Jews) have no right to exist in this land, to defile it.

 

There was more:  Peace in Israel/Palestine means that Israel must cease to exist.  She was created in sin, and her poisonous fruits supported by phosphorus bombs and armament by the USA.

 

And a chorus line heard over and over again:  Israel is engaged in ethnic cleansing and colonialism, and must be stopped.

 

And a reminder, to those sensitive of heart or ear:  We all crave JUSTICE, and nothing in the world is more urgent and more needed than to bring JUSTICE to the Palestinians whose country was stolen, who were forced out of their homes and who are subjected to continued ethnic cleansing and barbaric atrocities.

 

“Free Palestine!  From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free!”

 

I was so entrenched in the proceedings, that I neglected to pay attention to the following logic:  Israel claims it needs to protect its security, but there are really no longer any threats to Israel.  With Egypt and Jordan she has peace lasting decades, Syria is embroiled with internal problems, as is Iraq.  Lebanon is not a threat to Israel.  It is all propaganda the claim that Israel’s security needs are pressing.

 

More misinformation is that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.  Lebanon is too, with a free press, and other pillars of what may be defined as a “democracy.”  So we are told.

 

The best was reserved for last:  Israel cares very much for gays.  Jewish gays, that is, because she exposes Arab gays, or threatens to expose them unless they cooperate as a snitch with her Security Services.

 

The world transposed.  Not an iota of self-or inner-responsibility.  There is nothing wrong with Arab Muslim society hanging young gay men.  [Apparently there is also nothing wrong with Arafat and others sleeping with young males and fulfilling their desires with minors, of both sexes.]  Israel must be at fault.  Somehow, she is always fully responsible.  Much like a battered woman, the beating husband is never at fault.

 

One by one, any argument is toppled and counter-arguments are erected.  Israel is at fault at everything, and buzzwords are repeated so often, that even I start enjoying the familiarity of repetition.  Israel is Apartheid.  Israel is modern-day Nazism.  Israel the Colonialist, her army Goliath.  Ethnic Cleansing.  So many dead.  Children detained, raped, murdered, all by Israel.

 

“Free, Free Palestine.  From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free (of Jews)!”

[Clapping.]

 

Speak against Evil

 

It is the last evening (and last event) for the year.  Tomorrow night the Jewish people all around the world will celebrate their New Year.  They will once again pray “for next year in Jerusalem.”  They will hope for the Messiah to arrive quickly, in these very days, with him peace will to be ushered in and no more war.

 

I leave the event, not sure if anyone might dare attack me physically.  After all, I represent everything they hate, for I am Israel.

 

I look forward my New Year, knowing that very difficult and dangerous days are ahead.

 

KPFK, Jewish Voice for Peace and United Methodists’ Holy Land Task Force have invited IS into a church near you.  Tonight it was at the Culver-Palms United Methodist Church in Culver City.  Several years ago it was at LAUSD.  Soon it will be at a location near you.

 

One day we will wake up and realize that Israel’s fight is our fight.  That Hamas, Fatah, Hizbollah and IS are one and the same.  And most importantly, if we do not stand up and do battle, our fates will be one, and probably already determined.

 

Good people need to speak.  We must take action to protect all that is dear to us:  God.  Country.  Family.  Values.

 

And the time to start is now.
