Stop the Refugee Resettlement Program

Jihad Infiltration to USA

Intro to ‘Stop the Refugee Resettlement Program’

Obama is making Muslim Resettlement in America a dangerous proposition. Even if you believe the propaganda that Islam is peace, it is better to believe your eyes that Muslims are persecuting and butchering Christians left and right in Muslim dominated nations. Right now the press is telling you of the atrocities of the ISIS terrorists committed against the ever decreasing Christian minority in the area they control in Iraq and Syria. We are presented that ISIS is a lawless aberration within Islamic ideology.

BUT STILL Coptic Christians in Egypt experience abuse of murder, rape, forced conversions, Church burnings and more. It is the same in with the Muslims of Northern Sudan doing the same and throw in enslavement. There were cities in Palestine Administration governed Judea-Samaria (Israel-haters call it the occupied West Bank) that had Christian majorities – like Bethlehem. Now it is lucky if those same cities have a 10% to 20% minority status. Iraq’s Christian population has been fleeing even before the notorious successes of ISIS.. Lebanon actually used to be a Christian minority Middle Eastern nation. So many Christian Lebanese have fled their homeland for a safer life in the West that Lebanon has been reduced to 35% of the population. Ethiopia is a Christian majority at 62% and the largest competing religion is Islam at about 34% (2007 census). Nigeria’s religious status is actually difficult to pin down. I’ll go with the Pew 2012 stats that showed 2010 data: 49.3% Christian and 48.8% Muslim. In full disclosure though there tends to be an agreement among other sources as 50% Muslim, 40% Christian and 10% Other. My understanding though is the latter data is a bit controversial in its conclusions. AND YET today Nigerian Christians are among the worst hit by Islamic terrorism today.

In Muslim nations in which Christianity is a single digit minority fair no better. I often post about the atrocious persecutions in Pakistan (largely due to the reporting of Shamim Masih), Pakistan’s Christian population is less than 2%.

What in the world is President Obama doing allowing one Muslim with an Islamic Supremacist mentality coming to America rather than the Christians being slaughtered by Muslims?

Stop the Refugee Resettlement Program

By Justin O. Smith

Americans have the right to stop any and all immigration, legal or otherwise (e.g. Congress 1920-1965 [See HERE, HERE and HERE]) and this includes any refugee migration, which is overburdening city and state infrastructures across the nation and harboring numerous terrorists, as witnessed in Minneapolis [link], Bowling Green [link] and Boston [link] and numerous other cities [link]. And yet, despite efforts by Tennessee and other states to withdraw from the federal Refugee Resettlement program, the federal authorities contract with private agencies and resettle “refugees” wherever the meet the least resistance, at a heavy cost to the ordinary American.

The nine major refugee resettlement organizations typically operate secretly in closed-door sessions with government officials, because they do not want to disclose that their programs significantly increase unfunded costs on the state and local taxpayers in the form of social services, which must be provided. Also, these agencies, affiliated with the Catholic, Episcopal and Lutheran churches, present themselves as “charitable” organizations, when, in fact, they are federal contractors with 95% of their annual budgets funded by the federal government.

After passage of the Refugee Act of 1980, states were totally reimbursed for the cost of providing Medicaid, SSI and cash welfare to refugees for three years. By 1991, reimbursement to the states was eliminated, and federal support for refugees, who were unable to qualify for state funded programs, was reduced to eight months, shifting the burden back to the states.

These refugees take full advantage of the system, since all public benefits from the local, state and federal level are available to them within thirty days, after arriving in the U.S. In 2010, 49% of refugees, who had arrived between 2005 and 2010, were receiving medical assistance/ Medicaid, 26% were receiving cash assistance, and 63% were in the food stamp program.

Holly Johnson of the Tennessee Office of Refugees still promotes the lie that refugees “are completely self-sufficient, usually within four months,” and, in the meantime, the Catholic Charities agency is planning the further expansion of the refugee resettlement program in Tennessee; since taking control of this program in 2008, when Gov. Phil Breese withdrew Tennessee from it, Catholic Charities has expanded it by 66%, because they get paid for each refugee they bring to Tennessee.

“It raises the issue whether the state or Congress should pay the costs of the federal program,” Joanne Bergman, attorney and activist, stated in an interview last year, and she reiterated her message on October 26th, 2014 before a group of concerned citizens in Murfreesboro, TN (ACT).

With health care costs taking 60% of all new state revenue, Tennessee Governor Bill Aslam warned all departments in the state, weeks ago, that they must prepare for a 7% budget cut across the board, as a backlog of 7080 disabled Tennessee citizens, 152 in Rutherford County, waits for services, Bergman further explained; in contrast, the State Department authorizes 70,000 refugees annually, who are immediately eligible for the social services of the states that receive refugees.

Why aren’t we spending our tax-dollars on our most vulnerable U.S. citizens instead of refugees?

A Government Accounting Office report from July 12, 2012 stated in part that the U.S. State Dept.’s financial assistance is expected to be supplemented by private donations for the provisions of reception and placement services, but, in fact, even the massive U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops refugee resettlement agency only raises 2% of its $72 million total revenues. The USCCB resettles about a quarter of the refugees that the U.S. receives annually, and federal funds account for nearly 93% of USCCB’s migration/ refugee budget.

From the GAO report [link]: ‘Greater Consultation with Community Stakeholders Could Strengthen Program’ –

“most public entities such as public schools and health departments generally said that voluntary agencies notified them of the number of refugees expected to arrive in the coming year, but did not consult them regarding the number of refugees they could serve”.

This same GAO report quotes a state official who notes –

“That local affiliate funding is based on the number of refugees they serve, so affiliates (private contractors) have an incentive to maintain or increase the number of refugees they resettle each year rather than allowing the number to decrease.”

Other concerns rest in the fact that many of these refugees come from war-torn and terror-sponsoring nations, with this year’s group including 20,000 Iraqis, over 16,000 Burmese, and 8300 Somalis added to the 150,000 Somalian here now. Four thousand Syrian refugees have already applied for next year. Homeland Security cannot possibly adequately screen Somalian, from the largest Al Qaeda enclave in the world _ Somalia, due to the complete destruction of any law enforcement records in Somalia from twenty years of civil war.

“We come for the jobs,” says Mohammad Shakir Hassan, a Somali refugee who has resettled in Tennessee. After working for the TN Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition and CAIR/Hamas promoting the American Center for Outreach, Hassan now works as the program director for the TN American Muslim Advisory Council. All three organizations stress non-assimilation in favor of multicultural accommodations.

Perhaps Hassan came to America for a job, but thousands of other Muslim immigrants in Greeley and Ft Morgan, Colorado are looking to move to Wyoming, because the wait for government-subsidized housing is only about six months, while Colorado’s wait period is a year or longer. One-hundred Somalis have already moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming, and the Somali women voiced their concerns to the Wall Street Journal, in September 2014 [Refugee Settlement Watch delves into WSJ info], whether other government services would be comparable, since Wyoming currently does not have a Refugee Resettlement program.

The City of Amarillo, Texas has repeatedly questioned why it has been sent 500 to 600 foreign refugees annually for a decade, when based on demographics and its local economy, it should receive no more than sixty. So, Senator Keel Salinger (TX-R) asked [link],

“Who stands to benefit from the unbalanced number of refugees … it’s worth the investigation of who lubricates that system with the money … the health care institutions and the schools are not getting that money …”

In 2013, the Nashville International Center for Empowerment, a refugee resettlement agency, received over $800,000 in taxpayer money to fund its organization. And Will Alexander, Senator Lamar Alexander’s son and current Economic and Community Development chief of staff for Gov. Aslam, served on its Board of Directors until 2012. This is unseemly and inappropriate at best, since Senator Lamar Alexander is a strong advocate for illegal aliens and “immigration reform” in the U.S. At its worst, there is a miasmatic sense of corruption and cronyism hanging heavy in the air.

Mayor Nancy Denson, a Democrat, presides over Athens, Georgia, where 85% of Clarke County’s students already qualify for free lunches, which is the primary indicator schools use to measure poverty in their communities. And, since the school system is already funded at the maximum property tax allowed by Georgia’s state constitution, Mayor Denson has been forced to fight the opening of an International Rescue Committee resettlement office, the oldest and largest of the nine agencies.

Springfield, Massachusetts Mayor Domenic Sarong, a Democrat, is witnessing his school, police and social services overwhelmed by too many refugees. Twice during the last year he has asked federal officials to stop sending refugees into his city: “I’m not cold-hearted at all,” Sarong told the ‘Springfield Republican’ (newspaper), “I want to help. All I’m asking is for accountability … You just can’t keep concentrating poverty on top of poverty.”

“When the people … say ‘Stop, We don’t want this program’, how is it possible that the feds simply go through a private agency after that?” Joanne Bergman asks.

Primarily, these agencies don’t want to stop. It’s big business for them as they get paid a flat figure for every refugee they bring into the country. They have expenses, utilities and salaries to pay, so there’s never an incentive to stop the flow of the money or the number of refugees.

U.S. citizens across America have concerns about health, safety and the economic drain that a voluntary program with no Constitutional authority, the Refugee Resettlement program, places on their communities. Suggestions by lawmakers that, at the very least, these “charitable” private contractors must reimburse the states, if they take federal funds, are met with disdain; Lipscomb University and the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition say that this “targets refugee children as a burden rather than an investment,” so one must ask, “Shouldn’t America’s children come first?”

Demand a Congressional moratorium on all refugee and immigration movement into America! Enough is enough!

SLMP taking up Asiya case to Supreme Court

ISLAMABAD: The time has come that minority parliamentarians need to take a stand; it is time to reopen the debate on the blasphemy law in Pakistan, said Sohail Johnson, chairman Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan (SLMP) [About SLMP]. After the decision of a special division bench of LHC, upholding the death sentence of Asiya Bibi, my heart leapt out to see her kids and after sitting with the Aashiq Masih and her kids, I decided to take this case and now SLMP is going to file an appeal in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, announced Sohail Johnson.

Shamim Masih, Ashiq Masih (Asia's husband) & Sohail Johnson

Shamim Masih, Ashiq Masih (Asia’s husband) and Sohail Johnson

According to the details, a farm worker, mother of 5, is [being] kept away from her children for five years and four month. Yes, Asiya Bibi, dared to drink water in the cup of her co-workers in the field. Asiya became the victim of prejudice and greed and was accused of committing blasphemy. She has been in jail since June 19, 2009. She was awarded death sentence by the additional District and Sessions Judge Justice Muhammad Naveed Iqbal, despite the lack of evidence on November, 2010. On 16th October, 2014, a special division bench of the Lahore High Court dismissed the appeal, condemned Christian woman Asiya Bibi and upheld her death sentence on the blasphemy charges.

Ashiq Masih, the husband of the poor lady, was bitterly weeping when I met him. He said, it [i.e. Sohail Johnson’s announcement] was a ray of hope but the rejection of the appeal has shattered his confidence on Pakistani courts. He confidently said that judges were under pressure. He is still not in the position to control his nerves and how his children will survive, who were hoping their mother [would] come back home. But still he is hopeful and will go for the next judicial avenue – the Supreme Court of Pakistan to appeal.

According to her husband, the counsel, was weak and couldn’t convince the judge. He said he will choose the best lawyer of the town in the apex court [common description of Pakistan’s highest court which is a Supreme Court]. Ashiq Masih [placed] blame that [the Muslims] Asma and Mafia. [These two] are the sisters [accusing culprits]. And they falsely implicated Asiya Bibi in the blasphemy case because they felt disgraced and dishonored on the basis of altercation [at the Muslim designated well] and [the] hard words extended to them by Asiya Bibi when they denied drinking water brought by her for them.

Ashiq Masih was also critical of the role of some Christian non- government organizations in this regard. He said some of them have worked to worsen the situation. A number of lawyers and non-government organizations are in the race to take credit but are not doing anything practical. A human rights champion reportedly has supported [Asiya Bibi with] just 3000 Rs. [Pakistan Rupees] ever since, but have been gathering millions of the funds in her name [that Asiya has not benefited from], he added.

Be Blessed,

Between Heaven and Hell

PAKISTAN-UNREST-RELIGION

Shamim Masih writes about the gap between the poor Christian majority of Pakistan and the wealthier Christian minority of Pakistan. Shamim’s text is Mark 12: 31 of which the context can be found in Mark 12: 28-31. Shamim’s ire might seem to American Christians that are to the right of the political spectrum as a Social Justice and Spread the Wealth concepts of Left Wing American Christians (A more detailed exploration of Progressive Christianity HERE). Nonetheless, the persecution that is too often felt by Pakistan’s poorer Christians while the wealthier Christians promote themselves or market a business that is more beneficial to Pakistan’s majority Muslim population is a bit of a back stabbing to Pakistan’s poorer Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Between Heaven and Hell

By Shamim Masih

ISLAMABAD: The Bible shows that there are two great commandments. The first commandment is to love God with all our being. The second commandment is to love our neighbors as ourselves. So how do we show that we love our neighbors?

Jesus said, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Let me give you a story of a Christian from West Virginia, he narrates:

“I’ve always loved to work on cars. Whenever I was out driving and saw someone alongside the road with car problems, I stopped to help. It was rewarding to fix their car, but more rewarding to help them.

“One time in the dead of winter, I found this stranded couple trying to stay warm in their freezing car. No one had stopped to help. Another time, a family of six was trying to make it to their relatives for some food to eat. They had put a couple of dollars of gas in their old car, hoping it would be enough. It wasn’t.

“I was always thankful to God that I could help. But just like them, one day my car broke down. I had a flat tire and had no spare. I was in the middle of nowhere. But then, something happened I will never forget!

“I got out and leaned against my car, wondering what I was going to do. Seemingly out of nowhere, two men in an old wrecker suddenly pulled along beside me.

“‘You need a tire, don’t you?’ asked one of them. Before I could even answer, they got out of the wrecker, grabbed a tire from the back, and changed my tire as I stood there speechless! When they finished, I asked, ‘How much do I owe you?’ The man simply replied, ‘Nothing. We all need a hand every now and then.’ They promptly turned around and drove away.

“I know that God sent these ‘Good Samaritans’ to help me. God says that when we look out for others, He will look out for us. He proved it to me that day.”

Street life:

More than 25 million Pakistani Christians are living below the poverty line. The Life of Christians living in the slum areas is not better than street life.

On the other hand, Christian leadership [in Pakistan] includes religious, social and political [privileges] enjoying luxurious lives. Do they justify that they are following Christ’s teaching? Correct me if I am wrong, charities are based on the teaching of Christ, “love thy neighbor”. So it is mandatory for religious leadership and it applies to social leadership as well. But ground reality is totally opposite. It is reported that some Churches in Pakistan have properties worth billions of dollars in the shape of Christian Missionary Schools, Colleges and Hospitals which are being run as business concerns and benefiting Muslims only. And [the Christian] establishment of Pakistan uses its clergy to speak against issues of common Christians on international forums but I assure them that they do not represent a common Christian. Pakistani Bishops have luxury homes in the UK, France, the US, and Europe, whereas the communities for whom these donations are received are living in the slum areas.

Even non-profit organizations –NGOs funded for charitable programs- spend millions of rupees for their personal promotions and for their own luxuries rather than doing something for poor’s. I will soon uncover the stories behind the closed doors that [demonstrate] how these black sheep play with the sentiments of marginalized community.  Where does a common Christian stand, “between heaven and hell”?

It is also reported that the same NGO workers have been fighting to hake [perhaps bake or hack] the case. It is pathetic that the Church that is the essence of Christianity is not seen anywhere.  Reconciliation is at the heart of the gospel. Jesus said that the essence of Christianity could be summed up in two inseparable commandments: Love God, and love thy neighbor. First, Christian Community Development is concerned with reconciling people to God and bringing them into a church fellowship where they can be a disciple in their faith.

But can a gospel that reconciles people to God without reconciling people to people be the true gospel of Jesus Christ? Our love for Christ should break down every racial, ethnic or economic barrier. As Christians come together to solve the problems of their community, the great challenge will be to partner and witness together across these barriers. Christian Community Development [I am uncertain if Shamim is referring to the concept of rich-poor unity or to an organization. I found a Pakistani NGO that could also be the reference of Shamim – Christian Development Organization of Pakistan (CDOP)] recognizes that the task of loving the poor is shared by the entire body of Christ, black, white, brown, and yellow, rich and poor, urban and suburban.

Be Blessed,

Shamim Masih

The Burning neighbourhoods – For how long?

Pleasing allah by burning Christian homes

Shamim writes of persecution spewed up Pakistan’s religious minorities which include the Christians. The persecution is validated by the Blasphemy Law which is used more often than not as a tool for a vendetta agenda against Christians. As a tool a Sunni Muslim simply can falsely accuse a Christian of Breaking the Blasphemy Law for something as simple as an argument or in greed to acquire Christian property.

Even in the case if a Blasphemy Law is actually broken. Ridiculous occurrences may result in imprisonment, fines, lashes and/or even death. Ridiculous is tearing a Quran, poking fun at Mohammed, perhaps in a Muslim-Christian discussion or argument the Muslim says something disparaging about Christianity and the Christians responds in kind by saying something disparaging about Islam. Islamic Supremacism says any religion can be denigrated but if Islam is denigrated punishment must follow.

Shamim also expresses frustration about Pakistani Christian organizations and Churches receiving generous funding abroad, yet the funds are used to court Muslim Officials and Leaders or for self-aggrandizement and too often not for Christians living in poverty or in need of protection from persecution by Muslims.

The Burning neighbourhoods – For how long?

By Shamim Masih

Sent: Fri 7/19/2013 12:30 PM

ISLAMABAD: Another victim of the blasphemy law was being punished. According to the BBC news, Sajjad Masih was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of two hundred thousand rupees for sending blasphemous text messages to Muslim clerics to seek revenge from his ex-fiancée in Gojra.

Sajjad Masih, a resident of Pakpattan district, was arrested in December, 2011. Gojra is religiously sensitive, having witnessed massive attacks on Christians triggered by reports of desecration of the Holy Qura’an in 2002. Eight family members were burnt alive and forty houses and a Church were set ablaze by a mob on August 1, 2009.

A recently released, highly researched report conducted by a senior judge suggests that violence against Christians in Pakistan over the past five years could have been prevented by the country’s local authorities. The government reportedly ordered a senior judge to conduct a review following the anti-Christian riots which took place in Gojra. The mob, which accumulated strength in numbers over several days following encouraging sermons at local mosques, torched the Christian neighborhoods of Gojra after it was rumored that family members of a Christian couple used torn-up pieces of the Holy Qura’an at a Christian wedding ceremony.

The purpose of report is not only to address the past incident but also to determine how to end the violence relating to the disputes, including an incident in Gujranwala in which Muslim mob attacked Christians, resulting in the injury of five Christians and the damaging of property, including a church and vehicles. The extensive research finds that local intelligence agencies and law enforcement were aware that the some activists of banned outfit, Sipah-e-Sahaba organized riots against Christians, yet they did nothing to stop the violence.

This is not the end, on September 21, 2012, a church and a high school in Church compound was reduced to ashes. And the March, 2013, an over 3,000 strong mob set ablaze more than 150 houses in a Christian locality Joseph Colony, Lahore to “take revenge of the blasphemy” allegedly committed by a Christian man. This is the episode of continuous violence and is still on and would not surely stop or there is anyone who dares to stop it. US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) reported that it had tracked 203 publically reported incidents of sectarian violence resulting in more than 1,800 casualties, including over 700 deaths. The report said that between January 2012 and June, 2013, there were 77 attacks against Shias, 37 against Christians, 54 against, Ahmadis, 16 against Hindus and 3 against Sikhs. More than 5 Christians and 7 Hindus girls were rapped.

This is blasphemy law, embedded in sections 295 B, C of the Pakistan Penal Code, which is frequently misused for personal revenge. It carries no provision to punish a false accuser or a false witness of blasphemy. For example, the very recent blasphemy case of Rimsha in Islamabad the Apex Court has thumbed on Islamabad High Court judgment. Time will tell whether the courts will punish the false accuser.

Force conversion is another issue; innocent females are trapped, kidnapped and married forcefully. On the other hand, minorities are not even free to preach openly. If any person converts to Islam, it is proudly highlighted while Christians have no right to argue on it.

 Consequences of the laws

Since 1986 blasphemy laws have been frequently used to intimidate and persecute religious minorities and to settle personal vendetta. Hundreds of innocent people have been imprisoned, forced to leave the country or killed by religious fundamentalists. It encourages hostility towards minorities and has proven to be a license for abuse of law and religion. The instigators motivated by religious bigotry, personal prejudice, selfish gain or professional rivalry have used allegations for their convenience. In many cases complaints are filed at the insistence of a number of local clerics or outfits inciting hate against minorities. The laws are inherently arbitrary and restrict freedom of speech and other fundamental rights guaranteed by the constitutions and international human rights laws.

Christians in Pakistan have been suffering since independence; the discrimination is seen in the constitution as well. With the passage of time the screw is being tightened. “When the state and constitution make preference on the basis of religion, they end up violating the rights of their citizens.”

Human Rights organizations

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), along with relevant Special Procedures should monitor the situation in Pakistan and offer a response to the situation concerning human rights abuses, especially of the religious minorities.

But who will the bell the cat? All human aid organizations, USAID, UK AID, etc. are helping Muslims in Pakistan. They are working for their vested interests. Since they are in Pakistan, whether these human aid organizations have ever helped Christians …….. All scholarships for education go to Muslim students….. How come they can claim, they are helping humanity equally.    Pakistani Christian Human Rights Activists are busy in leg pulling of each other, some write about the incident and others condemn it and give their own opinion to attract donor’s attention…… People are threatened and if reported some human rights activist deny it and give their own opinion to become champion.

 Christian leadership

So called efforts by some of the country’s prominent leaders to repeal or amend the law have gone in vain. Pakistani Christians all claim to be born leaders. As the saying goes, some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. As Sir Winston Churchill or Margaret Thatcher were born great leaders, so they are! Time has proven that they are all leaders, and this the main cause of their sufferings.

During the past era, the minority members in legislative assemblies have signed and endorsed these laws. It is observed that as soon as there is mess, the seasonal creepers come out and earn money on the name of human rights service for the next tenure. Even the religious leaders are involved in illegally selling Church properties, Evangelical Bishops receive billions of aid from their sister Churches in Western countries for promotion and preaching of the Gospel and NGOs funded for charitable programs but they lavishly spend those funds hosting Muslim political leaders and for self-promotions instead vulnerable communities. They are crazy and spend millions for their political positions but will not support any Christian student for their education. During the past months, Christian schools have expelled the Christian students for not paying their school fees. When few leaders were asked to take responsibility of their dues, they simply refused; saying that they don’t have funds for them. But very next month the same leadership spent millions of rupees in election campaign of mainstream political parties in hope of selection as member of legislative assemblies.

All of the Christian leaders need to put their act together for the collective good of the community instead of following a divisive course.

Be Blessed,

Shamim Masih

What are YOU Going to Do About Christians in Pakistan?

Shamim Masih writes this message that is dripping with the blood of helpless frustration for the lot of Christians in Muslim dominated Pakistan. Shamim’s description is that of the classic dhimmi status that non-Muslims must suffer through in Pakistan (and for that matter all Muslim dominated nations).

Shamim goes on to lament of the near ZERO support Western Christians provide Christian-Pakistanis when in fact Muslim NGOs and charities are flowing with cash via Western government programs. NONE of that aid flowing to Pakistan reaches Christian-Pakistanis.

At the very end of Shamim’s message he saves a sentence for Pastor Terry Jones and his supporters. For those who do not know who Pastor Terry Jones is; he is the person that has spearheaded such activities as International Burn the Quran Day, Trial of the Quran Day, promoted the sophomoric anti-Mohammed movie trailer Innocence of Muslims and various Counterjihad events. Jones is usually decried by Leftists, Conservatives and most Counterjihad writers all alike. Jones’ critics typically would name him as a Counterjihad activist but rather as an Anti-Islam bigoted activist.

Here is the thing though. I don’t care if Jones’ antics are viewed as bigotry because I view Islam as an Anti-Christ religion. On the other hand I understand Shamim’s criticism of Terry Jones as well. Jones has gotten a lot of national and international press attention even if that attention is disseminated by a Liberal Diversity Multicultural in a negative light. Jones’ attention eventually ends up on Muslim media. As you should know by now Islam wears its feelings like a chip on the shoulder and their religious leaders go nuts that a non-Muslim/kafir like Terry Jones would dare to insult their prophet, their Allah or their holiest book the Quran. They go so nuts that if they could they would grab Terry Jones and torture him with humiliation and chop his head off.

As Shamim Masih points out, in lieu of not murdering Terry Jones in humiliation, Muslims are stirred up to take out their wrath on whatever local Christians that can be found. AND that is the reason Shamim Masih mentions Terry Jones. The life of a dhimmi Christian in Pakistan is often similar to hell on earth. If one of us Christian-Americans were stuck in Pakistan during one of these death inflicting violent Islamic temper tantrums, you and I might think we missed the rapture and was stuck through the Tribulation.

AND SO if you are one that supports Terry Jones’ First Amendment Right to disrespect an Anti-Christ religion like Islam, we must consider the Christians stuck in dhimmi-like conditions in Muslim nations. We need to begin funneling money to Christian NGOs which often act as the only Human Rights organizations that put action to alleviating the second-class citizenship persecution that Christians receive on a regular basis in Pakistan (and for that matter all Muslim dominated nations).

Western support and I should say American support, is the point of Shamim Masih’s message I am posting below.

ISLAMABAD PAKISTAN (SHAMIM MASIH): Its general perception among Pakistani Muslims that UN, USAID, British High Commission, American Embassy, Christian diplomats and other foreigners are helping Pakistani Christians, but the reality is different. Let me give you the actual situation.

On February 6, 1997, a religiously charged mob attacked village Shantinagar, district Khanewal in which about 800 houses including churches, hostels were torched. In November 2005, in Sangla Hill, about 100 Christian houses, schools, hostels, and Christian Clinic were burnt. On 1st August 2009, Christians were attacked in Gujra and 8 persons of a family were burnt alive and about 130 houses were turned to ashes. On 30th June, 2000, Christians were attacked in village Bahnamiwala, District Kasur in which about 102 houses were destroyed. On 21st September, 2012, Church, school and Pastors residences were turned to ash. And more recently, on March 9, 2013, over 200 homes of the Christians community of Joseph Colony in Lahore were burnt.

Ironically none was punished under the law for such gory episode; these barbaric attacks have sent a grave message to the already marginalized Christians. The sense of insecurity has alarmingly grown beyond proportions. The blasphemy law has been repeatedly used for settling personal scores, religious persecution, professional rivalry and for land grabbling.

This is not the end; large numbers of Christians accused of Blasphemy cases getting their lives rusted in the jails for years and years and there is no future to their children or other family members.

I am freelance journalist, Christian by faith and a social activist working for a democratic, tolerant and progressive social order and for socio economic and political rights of religious minorities especially for the Christians of Pakistan. I have devotedly served in the field of human rights during the last decade and have been raising their issues, persecutions, and rights through my writings, without any support.

I feel very helpless and ashamed when I received phone calls and emails from Christians all around the country for help in employment, protection on threats from fundamentalists, help for their children educations etc but I can’t support them. I remain silent for hours on reading email/news of the blasphemy victims who are behind bars or acquitted from higher courts but living in hiding to save their lives. The news items of rape and enforced conversion of Christian women make me sad and silent. I went to Gojra and had travelled to Mardan, when the church burnt there and went to Karachi, when Ryan was accused of blasphemy case and have reported on Badami Bagh incident as well; I write for the people whom I have seen working on ground realities, for example, CLAAS has been working for years for the Christians persecution, WVIP is seen during the Ryan case and others as well, I have seen Sardar Mushtaq (chief of LEAD), working for persecution without any funds, Basharat Khokhar was seen during Rimsha case, and I appreciate his efforts in protecting her during the case proceedings and I have seen him struggling him for Christian rights, but there are so many other settling scores. I have seen the struggle of Albert David for unity among Pakistani Christians. I have seen Saleem Khokhar, sitting in provincial parliamentarian; he bears ground to earth personality. I am helpless when hear the reports of Muslim culprits of gang rape of Christian girls walking free from courts. (Even those were set free who killed Shahbaz Bhatti ex-minister).

Role of our churches, local and NGOs: It’s time to think twice that what NGOs under Christian supervision, Churches and political leadership are doing? Where all funds are going which Christian civil society, Churches have been receiving in the name of poor Christians. How many Christian institutions are facilitating Christian’s students? Why are Western governments denying visas to acquitted blasphemy victims? It caused me to think; is USAID for Muslims in Pakistan? When their slogan is “From the American People” is all American people sending for Muslims? If not, then why is the Christian youth not receiving (on the link scroll down to “Pakistan”) scholarships for education, funds for business, employment in their offices? Why there is no program for Christian youth? Why do Western Human Rights champions keep silent on rape and enforced conversion of Christian women? Why is it that a common Christian has no reach to embassies and if someone applies for visa, why is it refused, because, a poor Christian has no property and no strong background? Isn’t it? Why is UNO [United Nation Organization] silent on killing of Christians and the attacks on Christians worship places? A million Christians are crying in Pakistan against the blasphemy law, extrajudicial killings, wrongful confinements and discrimination but UNO remains silent.

It’s just an example: I worked for “People to People International” PTPI and didn’t receive even a single penny on the other hand a Muslim running a chapter “Punjab chapter” in Gujranwala Pakistan, have got thousands of dollars and have done nothing on the ground. He got visas dozens of times and has taken many Muslims with him to many countries dozens of times. I applied for a visa US in 2010 and was refused. Furthermore not only this visa denied but my “Islamabad Chapter” was revoked just because of the reason of the visa application. In all of the UN organization and USAID, there are 90% Muslims employed and 99% of them are Pathans.

No one dares to ask NGOs like ILAP [See Also HERE and HERE] governed under Christian supervision, how many Christian employees they have? No one bothers to pursue Christian institutions in Rawalpindi when they push out Christian students for not paying their fees. Are these institutions just for business purposes or is there any sense of security/realization for Christians students? How many Christian’s students are studying in Jesus and Mary Convent in Islamabad/Rawalpindi Pakistan? We don’t have the right to ask our Christian politicians what they have done for Pakistani Christians. These Christian politicians were selected ones and their selection didn’t come in through Christian votes but rather through paying huge funds (collected in poor Christians name) to Muslims Parties. This practice of [buying political positions] is still going on……. They are too many Christians looking for a gateway through paying funds to Muslim political parties.

Pakistani media normally do not highlight Christians’ issues. This is why there is no powerful electronic and print media for their rights. We don’t have a platform to print or give stories about the oppressed and persecuted Pakistani Christians. I usually write for the oppressed and persecuted Pakistani Christians and I am thankful to the Pakistan Christian Post, Salem-News, ANS, Global Christian Voice, John Houk, and Wilson Chaudhry, taking the pain for Pakistani Christians and they are highlighting their stories/issues.

During my writing work, I have been receiving threats from Muslims but I am also being hit by the people sent by imported so-called Christian Politicians, who have delivered nothing yet wanted to stop me from writing the facts.

It is observed during the said time period that all these institutions have their vested interests. It could be political, geographical, or whatsoever it is, but not for Pakistani Christians.

This is less a criticism and more an appeal to all Human Rights organizations to take notice of incidents of victimization of Christians and support them. Because when your “American” Terry Jones burns a Quran, you don’t suffer but we Pakistani Christians do.

Be Blessed,

Shamim Masih

Egypt, Muslim Brotherhood and Global Paradigm Change

Hillary Clinton hysterical

John R. Houk

Egypt has been in the news even before Mubarak was deposed concerning the nation’s persecution of Coptic Christians. After Mubarak was deposed, that persecution has stepped up. The underlying reason for the escalation of the persecution of Coptic Christians is undoubtedly the result of the ever growing influence of the Muslim Brotherhood which is a purist Muslim group that believes Islam should be followed in the way founding prophet Mohammed provided the example. That example was to make non-Muslims have the choice to convert to Islam, live life as a humiliated second class citizen that must pay a jizya tax for protection or die for not submitting to option one and two.

In the midst of the hateful persecution of Christians was the emergence of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) that has set up shop in Egypt to promote democratic government and Human Rights. The Muslim Brotherhood influenced Egyptian government apparently did not appreciate the work of such NGOs because of the accusation of receiving foreign money to promote American influence in the post-Mubarak era. Americans have been detained and not allowed to leave Egypt pending an official investigation.

The Obama Administration via the voice of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has expressed extreme diplomatic displeasure with Egypt. Members of Congress are calling for the hold-up of aid money to Egypt to influence the release of Americans.

Typically of the Islamic Supremacism that will emerge in Egypt with a Muslim Brotherhood outright government, a top official is warning that the cutoff aid to Egypt will end the 1979 brokered treaty with Israel that brought peace between Egypt and Israel. In essence the MB is saying we see your diplomatic extortion and we up the pot with reigniting Egypt-Israel tension that could lead to war.

Let’s face reality. The Islamic mindset of supremacism will ignite war in the Middle East eventually with Israel being the fall guy reason; however the global economy’s present dependence on oil from Muslim nations still thinking with a medieval mind-set that is coupling with the ever growing hand of radical Islam will send the world into war. Ultimately the kowtowing West that believes the horrors of civilized nations engaging in fighting as in the days of Hitler’s Nazi Germany is a thing of the past, will have to decide between submitting to oil extortion, usurping Middle East oil or putting a lot of money into Research and Development to bring about alternatives to oil and energy.

Europeans may be hip to kowtowing but the U.S. of A. will become weary of that. That weariness will result in a land slide victory for the political party that demands a better deal economically and politically or else. That would mean the Party of Obama would definitely be out with its pseudo-European Socialist paradigm. America can start by tossing Obama out in 2012.

Usurping oil is just what it sounds like. The use of military action to force a better deal or to take over operations in some good old fashioned big stick imperialism while R&D finds an alternative at which time the West can return oil filled deserts back to medieval-minded Muslims.

In my opinion the best solution to oil dependence is to begin an all-out Manhattan Project style program that spares no effort to discover high functioning alternatives to power America (or the West) with resources independent of oil from Islamic Supremacist nations. This would revitalize the American economy and send shortsighted Islamic nations back barely get along street with their oil being out of demand.

Of course the existence of a viable global alternative to oil might inspire Muslim nations to unite for military action against the West. Good luck with that martial desperation because it could result in the Muslim Middle East transforming into a radioactive sea of glass.
