Addressing ‘mohammedbasha’ Comment Promoting Islam

At my SlantRight 2.0 blog I have comments set for moderation ONLY. The reason most comment are of a spam advertising nature – some product oriented and some just vulgar porn. Along that same line I typically IGNORE off the bat when a comment is authored by “Anonymous”. Once in a while out of the corner of my eye I might an “Anonymous” commenter with a valid comment to a post – that person would get lucky and get added as a comment. BUT that would be few and far between and especially RARE.

 

Here is the reason for going over comment practices on the SlantRight 2.0 blog. I actually got a comment to moderate from an individual self-identified as “mohammedbasha”.  If you go to mohammedbasha’s Blogger profile page the info on identity is quite pseudonymous yet quite obviously the image of a Muslim Apologist. In case you are unaware, like American Dems Muslim Apologists at worst outright lie or at best so brainwashed by their religious leaders are sadly deceived to believe infamous actions are good for humanity. Since mohammedbasha was good enough to not post “anonymous” I first examined the post being commented on which is “Where do You Stand: Keramer vs Johnston?” posted on 11/4/17. The purpose of that post hopefully summed up in these excerpts:

 

On 11/2 I vented a bit about the hypocrisy of the Mainstream Media (MSM) reporting like wimps on the Islamic terrorist attack by Sayfullo Saipov in Manhattan. Saipov killed eight and injured many others on Halloween for Allah, Muhammad and ISIS.

 

I shared the blog post on the G+ Community Boycott!🚫CNN, MSNBC & LIBERAL MEDIA (among other Communities and Groups). Two Community commenters had an interesting enough dialogue that I have decided to cross post most of it as a standalone post. The dialogue was between “ron keramer” and “Christina Johnston”.

 

You can definitely read the ire I had with Muslims acting on Islamic revered writing in the embedded links in the first paragraph. Unfortunately G+ Communities as a social platform no longer exist ergo you cannot read those sources. The next paragraph of “Where do You Stand: Keramer vs Johnston?” clarifies the existence of the hypocrisy that Muslim Apologists and Multicultural Leftists hold against the critics of Islam:

 

The title of the post is “I Am Islamorgizo not Islamophobic”. The context of the post is being weary of the MSM insisting anyone that is critical of Islam is an Islamophobic racist. So, I found a Greek word that connotates a fixed anger akin to settled opposition. That Greek word is orgízō. Just as Multiculturalists and Islamic Apologists hooked “Islam” with the Greek derivative for “phobia” to form Islamophobe, I connected Islam with orgízō to create Islamorgizo – a settled angry opposition to Islam. Then I explained the reason why Islam deserves settled angry opposition not only for its revered writings justifying violence against non-Muslims, but also to show contrasting Quran and the Bible that Islam is specifically an Antichrist religion. Incidentally, Islam is the ONLY non-Christian religion that specifically denies the centrality of the Christian faith. You’ll have to read “I Am Islamorgizo not Islamophobic” for the details.

 

Sadly, to my knowledge, the term “Islamorgizo” has never caught on to counter calling critics of Islam Islamophobes. Allow me to reiterate that I do not have an irrational fear Islam but I have an angry opposition for what Islam stands for in that socio-political religion’s obsessed violent hatred of all things non-Islamic with the specific labelling of the “People of the Book” (meaning the Holy Bible) as the people who have twisted the so-called original revered writings (meaning the Quran that never existed in any form prior to the recollections of Muhammad’s fellow pillagers, rapists and slavers put their leader’s sayings to pen and paper) – Interesting afterthought: “The Myth: Muhammad Would
Never Approve of Rape – DEBUNKED”) of Islam’s Allah.

So essentially our faith/belief is up on one and only powerful God though cited with multiple names (Allah, Yahweh or God the Father)

 

Blog Editor: I am convinced the Muslim faith are taught and believe “Allah” means “One True God”. But that literally is not accurate.

  1. There is absolutely no question that Allah was worshipped by the pagan Arabs as one of many polytheistic gods.

 

  1. Allah was worshipped in the Kabah at Mecca before Muhammad was born. Muhammad merely proclaimed a god the Meccans were already familiar with. The pagan Arabs never accused Muhammad of preaching a different Allah than the one they already worshipped.

  1. Although “Allah” has become known as the proper name for the Muslim god, Allah is not a name, but a descriptor that means literally, “the god”. All pagan cultures have these generic terms that refer to their “top god” as “the god”. In comparison to the perfect monotheism of Judaism and Christianity, “Allah” was originally no more a proper name for the Muslim God, than the word Hebrew “elohim” (god) or Greek “theos” (god) are proper names of the one true God of the Bible. “Jehovah” is the only revealed proper name for the “Elohim” of the Old Testament ( Ex 3:13; 6:3) and “Jesus” is the only revealed proper name of “Theos” in the New Testament. (Acts 4:12) Islam has no proper name for their god, but merely transformed, by universal use and confusion, the generic Allah into a proper name. Jesus is called “The God” many times in the New Testament: John 20:28; Heb 1:8. An important conclusion from this, is that the mere fact that “Allah” is equivalent to “elohim” and “ho theos” does not mean they are directly corresponded. It certainly doesn’t prove Allah is the same as the God of the Old or New Testament. It does not prove that Muslim’s worship the same God as Christians. If this correspondence proved the Muslim god was the same as the Christian God, then because pagan religions also have generics that correspond to “the god” (Allah), this correspondence would also prove that Allah is the same god as the Buddhist god, for Buddhists also refer to their god as “the god”.

 

What scholars say about the origin of the word “Allah”:

 

  1. It is not related that the Black Stone was connected with any special god. In the Ka’ba was the statue of the god Hubal who might be called the god of Mecca and of the Ka’ba. Caetani gives great prominence to the connection between the Ka’ba and Hubal. Besides him, however, al-Lat, al-`Uzza, and al-Manat were worshipped and are mentioned in the Kur’an; Hubal is never mentioned there. What position Allah held beside these is not exactly known. The Islamic tradition has certainly elevated him at the expense of other deities. It may be considered certain that the Black Stone was not the only idol in or at the Ka’ba. The Makam Ibrahim was of course a sacred stone from very early times. Its name has not been handed down. Beside it several idols are mentioned, among them the 360 statues. (First Encyclopedia of Islam, E.J. Brill, 1987, Islam, p. 587-591)

 

  1. “The verses of the Qur’an make it clear that the very name Allah existed in the Jahiliyya or pre-Islamic Arabia. Certain pagan tribes believed in a god whom they called ‘Allah’ and whom they believed to be the creator of heaven and earth and holder of the highest rank in the hierarchy of the gods. In America today, there is perhaps no better example of the all-out assault leftists have launched against freedom of speech than on college campuses.

 

Leftists have progressively taken over American universities and, just as quickly, systematically eroded freedom of speech and engagement for the students. Not only are voices that leftist faculty members disagree with prevented from speaking, but voices espousing violent, anti-Semitic and radical Islamic rhetoric are welcomed in open arms.

 

One of the most active Islamic organizations on college campuses is the MSA-Muslim Students Association. They have nearly 600 chapters on college campuses in the United States and Canada, making them the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America. The MSA is mentioned in the Muslim Brotherhood memorandum for North America as one their front organizations to destroy America from within.

 

In May 2010, Jewish author David Horowitz was taking questions from an audience at UC San Diego when a female MSA student stood up to confront Horowitz about his views. When Horowitz asked the young woman if she supported the terrorist organization Hamas, she replied: “If I say something I’m sure that I will be arrested. For reasons of Homeland Security.”

 

In other words, of course she supported Hamas, but she didn’t want to be arrested or investigated on terrorism charges if she essentially admitted that she was a terrorist. But Horowitz pressed further. “I’m a Jew. The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn’t have to hunt us down globally. For it or against it?”

 

After a pause, the Muslim student leaned into the microphone and with a cold, calculating voice stated, “For it.”

 

If that doesn’t send chills up your spine, nothing will. When a student can stand up and declare herself a supporter of Jewish genocide with absolutely no consequence and the terrorist-linked organization she’s a part of can still function openly on campus, we’re way past the tipping point.

 

Of course, adding to the absurdity of allowing terrorists and anti-Semites to openly flourish on campus, conservatives are shunned and accused of “hate speech.” In response to a scheduled appearance by Milo Yiannopoulos at leftist haven UC Berkeley, Antifa and their leftist comrades started a violent riot, smashing store windows, causing over $100,000 in damage and injuring innocent civilians.

 

Black-masked leftists threw large rocks, commercial fireworks and Molotov cocktails at police, in response to Milo setting foot on campus to say things they didn’t like. Over 1,500 angry leftists formed a mob and chanted, “No safe space for racists,” and “This is war,” but were strangely missing their pitchforks.

 

One innocent woman who is a Trump supporter was pepper-sprayed in the face while being interviewed on live television by an ABC affiliate. That’s strange, I thought the Left was supposed to be fighting for the rights of women.

 

Embarrassed by the national disgrace, administrators at Berkeley tried to play defense, while at the same time letting the violent mob know they support them in spirit.

 

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms the violence and unlawful behavior that was on display and deeply regret that those tactics will now overshadow the efforts to engage in legitimate and lawful protest against the performer’s presence and perspectives.”

 

See, it was all peaceful until 1,500 trouble makers showed up. They continued:

 

“While Yiannopoulos’ views, tactics and rhetoric are profoundly contrary to our own, we are bound by the Constitution, the law, our values and the campus’s Principles of Community to enable free expression across the full spectrum of opinion and perspective.”

 

There’s the continued attack on Yiannopoulos, an openly gay man, whose biggest crime was that he attempted to speak at a public university. When it comes to free speech, the aggressors are almost exclusively on the Left.

 

Remember, at multiple rallies then-candidate Trump spoke at during his presidential and primary campaign, countless interruptions of crazed leftists arose, as they screamed mindless babble at the top of their lungs to try to silence him. They knew that if the American people heard his message about putting America first and speaking truthfully about the threats of open borders he would win. So they tried desperately to silence him. But their plans failed, and President Trump won handily over Hillary Clinton.

 

How many times were Hillary Clinton’s speeches interrupted by conservatives during her campaign? Did she ever have Secret Service Agents rush the stage during one of her speeches after a crazed conservative tried to attack her, as a crazed leftist did President Trump?

 

No.

 

Did she ever have an actual rally in a major city cancelled due to a violent domestic terror mob taking over the arena, as was done to President Trump in Chicago?

 

No.

 

Hillary didn’t confront those issues for the same reason that an anti-Semitic terror sympathizer like Linda Sarsour [bad link – better Sarsour link] can speak at CUNY, and a domestic terrorist like Kathy Boudin can teach a class at Columbia, because the Left has a monopoly on violent anti-free speech radicalism.

 

The reality is freedom of speech, the most fundamental pillar of our Constitution and Western civilization at large, is under attack by two relentless enemies: radical Islam and the radical Left. Both are working together to shut you up and prevent your children and grandchildren from exercising the same rights that every American since the nation’s founding have had the privilege of doing.

 

Unless Americans take hold of this increasingly dangerous threat, our ability to fight back with truth could be gone forever. We must not take this most crucial freedom for granted, for if we do, it’s only a matter of time before the enemy takes it away. We must make sure those who represent us in Washington understand that freedom of speech is an absolute right, and that we will not be silenced.

Here is a Muslim apologist defending Islam (well actually an edited version for easier readability in English. The unedited version is HERE):

 

Islam sucks? Who is Jesus? [You say] it’s Essa [aka Esa or Isa is Quran for Jesus], son of God? No, God don’t have anybody no family no dad no mom no bro no Baby no sis nothing he’s the creator. Mohammed is The One who gives us the peace! (Islam means peace! You say Brutal? All Christians Have much more Big Crimes. Bigger then Islam. 80% of Islam is On peace! And 60% of Christ is Peace!! In full disclosure it is my sense that Zhaksbsu is sincere and not spewing disinformation propaganda (aka Taqiyya and here’s the expose on Muslim apologists lying that Taqiyya means piety). As is the case with many Muslims who like to be under the label “Moderate.” Zhaksbsu believes his Imam or Cleric when told the half-truth about Islam, peace, the Son of God and so on.

 

There are many Biblical references that show Islam is not only a false religion but also an antichrist religion.

 

21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

 

22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. (1 John 2:21-23 NKJV)

 

Since Islam revered writings – the Quran in particular – deny that Jesus is the Son of God the Christ Savior of all who believe, Islam is an antichrist.

 

I discovered an ex-Muslim turned Christian that gives some solid reasons why Islam is a false religion. Then after that Yurki1000 gives a Grace oriented message to Zhaksbsu’s self-deceived thoughts that Islam is peace and good so don’t criticize Islam.

10 Reasons Islam Is Not From God

Reason #1:

 

Islam cannot be from God because the prophet of Islam, Muhammad, did not pass God’s first test for a prophet. Deuteronomy 18:21-22 tells us that God will authenticate those He sends as a prophet by having them perform signs. Muhammad gave no sign as required by God.

 

(Deuteronomy 18:21,22, NAS95) 21 “You may say in your heart, ‘How will we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’ 22 “When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

 

Muslims recognize this and try to overcome the principle of God confirming his revelation with signs by asserting that the revelation of the Qur’an itself is a sign. When Muhammad was challenged by the Jews and Christians to produce a sign, he received a special revelation from Allah.

 

Qur’an 6:37-39, 36. And they said: “Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?” Say: “Allâh is certainly Able to send down a sign, but most of them know not.” 38. There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communitie like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered. 39. Those who reject Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) are deaf and dumb in darkness. Allâh sends astray whom He wills and He guides on the Straight Path whom He wills.

 

Muslims claim that the Qur’an itself is the sign God gave Muhammad.

 

Notice the difference in the Muslim claims and the evidence put forward by the Hebrew writer in Hebrews 2:3-4,

 

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?”

 

Reason #2:

 

Islam cannot be from God because Muhammad’s teaching does not pass the second test God gave for a prophet. Deuteronomy 13:1-4 tells us that no prophet will bring a revelation that is in conflict with previous revelation. His revelation must agree with the previous revelation of God. Deuteronomy 13:1-4

 

Deuteronomy 13:1-4, 1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

 

Muhammad’s revelation contradicts the previous revelations in both facts and principles. Consider the account of Joseph. In the Qur’an, Qur’an 12, Yusuf Beginning in Ayah 21.

 

Qur’an 12:21-34, 21. And the Egyptian who bought him said to his wife: Give him an honorable abode, maybe he will be useful to us, or we may adopt him as a son. And thus did We establish Yusuf in the land and that We might teach him the interpretation of sayings; and Allah is the master of His affair, but most people do not know. 22. And when he had attained his maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge: and thus do We reward those who do good. 23. And she in whose house he was sought to make himself yield (to her), and she made fast the doors and said: Come forward. He said: I seek Allah’s refuge, surely my Lord made good my abode: Surely the unjust do not prosper. 24. And certainly she made for him, and he would have made for her, were it not that he had seen the manifest evidence of his Lord; thus (it was) that We might turn away from him evil and indecency, surely he was one of Our sincere servants. 25. And they both hastened to the door, and she rent his shirt from behind and they met her husband at the door. She said: What is the punishment of him who intends evil to your wife except imprisonment or a painful chastisement? 26. He said: She sought to make me yield (to her); and a witness of her own family bore witness: If his shirt is rent from front, she speaks the truth and he is one of the liars: 27. And if his shirt is rent from behind, she tells a lie and he is one of the truthful. 28. So when he saw his shirt rent from behind, he said: Surely it is a guile of you women; surely your guile is great: 29. O Yusuf! turn aside from this; and (O my wife)! ask forgiveness for your fault, surely you are one of the wrong-doers. 30. And women in the city said: The chiefs wife seeks her slave to yield himself (to her), surely he has affected her deeply with (his) love; most surely we see her in manifest error. 31. So when she heard of their sly talk she sent for them and prepared for them a repast, and gave each of them a knife, and said (to Yusuf): Come forth to them. So when they saw him, they deemed him great, and cut their hands (in amazement), and said: Remote is Allah (from imperfection); this is not a mortal; this is but a noble angel. 32. She said: This is he with respect to whom you blamed me, and certainly I sought his yielding himself (to me), but he abstained, and if he does not do what I bid him, he shall certainly be imprisoned, and he shall certainly be of those who are in a state of ignominy. 33. He said: My Lord! the prison house is dearer to me than that to which they invite me; and if Thou turn not away their device from me, I will yearn towards them and become (one) of the ignorant. 34. Thereupon his Lord accepted his prayer and turned away their guile from him; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

 

Now consider the same account from the Bible in Genesis 39:7-21

 

(Genesis 39:7-21, KJV) 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 8 But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. 11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. 13 And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, 14 That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: 15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out. 16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. 17 And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: 18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. 19 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. 20 And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

 

Consider the differences in the facts presented about the lives of the Biblical characters. In the Qur’an Potiphar was at the door when Joseph fled. He wasn’t at home in the Bible Account. In the Qur’an, Potiphar believed Joseph while in the Bible Potiphar believed his wife. In the Qur’an, Joseph requested that he be put in prison so that he might avoid the temptation of women and in the Bible, he was imprisoned by Potiphar for accosting his wife. Surely it is easy to see the differences. Joseph is just a sample. There are other contradictions in almost every account of the lives of Bible people. In the Qur’an, one of Noah’s sons died in the flood while in the Bible, all of them were on the ark. Compare the Biblical account of Lot with the Qur’an’s account of Lot (Lut in the Qur’an-NR). In the Qur’an, Abraham’s father was an idolater and forced Abraham to leave home for trying to teach monotheism, while the Biblical account has Abraham leaving after his father’s death.

 

Now consider just one principle that is set forth in the New Testament with the principles set forth in the Qur’an.

 

The New Testament, Matthew 5:44, But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

 

The Qur’an, Qur’an 61, the Ranks, Ayah 4. Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks as if they were a firm and compact wall

 

The Qur’an, Qur’an 2, The Cow, Al Baqarah Ayah 190. And fight in the way of Allah with those who fight with you, and do not exceed the limits, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits. 191. And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.

 

What a contrast. Jesus says to love, forgive, and pray for your enemies. The Qur’an says to kill them. If that isn’t a different doctrine than what was revealed, nothing is.

 

Reason #3:

 

Islam cannot be from God because it denies the Godhood of Jesus. In the Qur’an, Muhammad takes great pains to deny the deity of Jesus. It demeans Jesus and makes him just a man. In Philippians, Paul asserts that Jesus existed in the form of God.

 

Qur’an 4:171 “O people of the book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of God naught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of God, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: So believe in God and His messengers…”

 

(Philippians 2:5-9, NAS95) 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,

 

Reason #4:

 

Islam cannot be from God because Muhammad frequently changed his revelations to suit circumstances. The classic example is Muhammad’s teaching on drinking. When he was just beginning to teach, before Muhammad gained a significant following he said that it was alright to drink.

 

Qur’an 2:219 They ask you Concerning wine; gambling, Say “In them is great sin, And some profit for men; But the sin is greater Than the profit.

 

As his power base grew, he presented a stronger position. It was not acceptable to have had any intoxicants close enough to prayers to fog the mind.

 

Qur’an 4:43 O you who believe! Approach not prayer With a mind befogged, Until you can understand All that you say.

 

When his position was strongly established, he forbade the use of intoxicants entirely.

 

Qur’an 5:93 O you who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (Dedication) of stones, And (divination by) arrows, Are an abomination, – Of Satan’ handiwork: Eschew such (abomination) That you may prosper. 94. Satan’s plan is (but) To excite enmity and hatred Between you, with intoxicants And gambling, and hinder you From the remembrance Of Allah, and from prayer: Will you not then abstain?

 

His final revelation calls the use of intoxicants “Satan’s handiwork.” This puts him in the awkward position of having had Allah approve of “Satan’s Handiwork’ when he said that there was “some profit for men” in the use of intoxicants.

 

Does God vacillate on sin?

 

Reason #5:

 

Islam cannot be from God because its appeal is to man’s lower nature rather than his higher nature. Compare the Biblical appeal of heaven to the Quranic appeal of heaven.

 

The Biblical Appeal

 

Matthew 5:10-12, 10. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

 

Peter 1:3-4, 3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

 

Mark 12:24-25, 24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? 25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

 

Revelation 7:9-17, 9. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

 

The Qur’an makes a large portion of its appeal to the fleshly appetites and sensibilities of man.

 

Qur’an 37: 40. But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah, 41. For them is a Sustenance Determined, 42. Fruits (Delights) and they (Shall enjoy) honor and dignity, 43. In Gardens of Felicity, 44. Facing each other On Thrones (of dignity): 45. Round will be passed To them a Cup From a clear flowing fountain, 46. Crystal white, of a taste Delicious to those Who drink (thereof), 47. Free from headiness; Nor will they suffer Intoxication there from. 48. And beside them will be Chaste women, restraining Their glances, with big eyes (Of wonder and beauty) 49. As if they were (Delicate) eggs closely guarded.

 

Qur’an 4:57. But those who believe And do deeds of righteousness, We shall soon admit to Gardens, With rivers flowing beneath, – Their eternal home; Therein shall they have Companions [wives, NR] pure and holy; We shall admit them To shades, cool and ever deepening.

 

Qur’an 44:51. As to the Righteous (They will be) in A position of Security, 52. Among Gardens and Springs; 53. Dressed in fine silk And in rich brocade, They will face each other; 54. So; and We shall Join them to Companions With beautiful big And lustrous eyes. 55. There can they call For every kind of fruit In peace and security; 56. Nor will they there Taste Death, except the first Death: and He will preserve Them from the Penalty Of the Blazing Fire.

 

Which makes its appeal to the higher nature of man? The Bible does.

 

Which is more likely to be from God – that which appeals to man’s higher nature, or that which appeals to his baser nature? The Bible is more likely to be from God than the Qur’an because its appeal is to man’s higher nature, while the appeal of the Qur’an is to man’s lower nature.

 

Reason #6:

 

Islam cannot be from God because its morality is inferior to the morality taught by the New Testament. In examining the contradictions between the Bible and the Qur’an, we encountered Jesus’ teaching that we were to love and pray for our enemies while the Qur’an says to fight and kill your enemies. There is a tremendous gap in the standard of morality between the two standards. Which is more likely to be from God, the high standard of morality, or the low standard of morality?

 

Reason #7:

 

Islam cannot be from God because it is based upon a document, the Qur’an, made after God said revelation was finished.

 

Paul said that revelation would come to an end: 1 Corinthians 13:8, Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

 

Jude 3 tells us that the faith was fully delivered: Jude 3, Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

 

Peter said that every thing that was necessary for man to be pleasing to God had been revealed.

 

2 Peter 1:3, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

 

Reason #8:

 

Islam cannot be from God because it is based upon the Qur’an which has internal contradictions. Any revelation from God will be consistent within itself. It will not contain internal contradictions. Since the Qur’an does contain internal contradictions, it cannot be from God, and any religion that is based upon it is not from God.

 

The Qur’an says that man was created from a clot of blood.

 

Qur’an 96:1. Proclaim (or Read) In the Name Of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created- 2. Created man out of A (mere) clot Of congealed blood;

 

The Qur’an says that man was created from was created from clay.

 

Qur’an 6:2 (Also 7:12) 2. He it is Who created You from clay, and then Decreed a stated term (For you). And there is In His Presence another Determined term; yet Ye doubt within yourselves!

 

The Qur’an says that man was created from was created from water.

 

Qur’an 25:54. It is He Who has Created man from water: Then has He established Relationships of lineage And marriage: for thy Lord Has power (over all things).

 

These are internal contradictions that indicate the origin of the Qur’an was not the mind of God, but the mind of man, Muhammad.

 

Reason #9:

 

Islam cannot be from God because the Qur’an frequently contradicts the Bible.

 

The Qur’an advocates the beating of wives who are perceived to be misbehaving.

 

Qur’an – 4:34 Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allâh and to their husbands), and guard in the husband’s absence what Allâh orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband’s property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allâh is Ever Most High, Most Great.

 

The Bible teaches that man is to love his wife and treat her as his own body.

 

Ephesians 5:25-29, 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

 

Surely God will not change his mind about such a significant principle in husband and wife relationships. The Quranic ideal is contrary to the teaching of the New Testament.

 

Reason #10:

 

Islam cannot be from God because it denies the crucifixion of Jesus.

 

The central figure of the New Testament is Jesus. From his temptations in the desert to the resurrection, the focus of Jesus is his death on the cross to provide a sacrifice for mankind’s sin. The Qur’an denies that Jesus died on the cross and that would then preclude his resurrection. It is the contention of Islam that God took Jesus into heaven and transformed Judas to look like Jesus. The teach that it was actually Judas who died on the cross.

 

Qur’an 4:157. That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary, The apostle of Allah”; But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, But so it was made To appear to them, And those who differ Therein are full of doubts, With no (certain) knowledge, But only conjecture to follow, For of a surety, They killed him not.

 

The Bible clearly and plainly teaches that Jesus was crucified on the cross.

 

Matthew 27:35, 35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

 

1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

38 And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.

 

39 And they came and besought them, and broughtthem out, and desired them to depart out of the city.

 

40 And they went out of the prison, and entered intothe house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.

I expected America’s Left (i.e. Democrats) and Muslim Apologists to go apoplectic against Trumps call for a ban on Muslims coming to America. I was a little taken back by the hysteria of Republicans and Conservatives that joined the American Left.

Since the original Trump call it is becoming clearer he is modifying his Muslim moratorium to Muslim immigrants which makes more sense than a total ban of other Muslims coming to visit as tourists, businessmen or diplomatic political figures. Geopolitically banning ALL Muslims would be financial and political nightmare. On the other hand banning Muslim immigrants until we figure out what the hell we are going to do about separating American-hating Muslims from Muslims willing to assimilate to the American culture upholding the U.S. Constitution as the law of the land.

Check out some of the GOP/Conservatives condemning Trump for a temporary stoppage of Muslim immigration – again – until we figure out what the hell is going on:

The focal point of House Speaker Paul Ryan‘s Tuesday press conference was excoriating the front-runner’s proposal and stating how it wasn’t conservative and wasn’t what the Republican Party was about. (RELATED: Paul Ryan Condemns Trump’s Muslim Moratorium Proposal: ‘This Is Not Conservatism’)

Arguably, the most shocking denouncer of all was Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus — the party official most concerned with keeping Trump in the GOP fold. Priebus condemned the proposal as against “our American values” and said he in no way agreed with it.

The least shocking element incensed by the proposed Muslim ban were the majority of conservative media outlets and figureheads who’ve long made it known that they disdain the real estate mogul. My personal stand on the theopolitical religion of Islam definitely is not a politically correct one. In my selected readings of the Quran, Hadith and Sira shows Islam is virulently against Christianity and Judaism. In the case of Christianity Islam condemns the centrality of Christian faith in denying Jesus Christ is the Son of God; died on the Cross, buried in a tomb and after three days arose from the dead in a Holy Resurrection now dwelling at the right hand of the Father continuously interceding for Believers in Christ Jesus. This Islamic DENIAL makes Islam an antichrist religion. Ergo I have no problem with Trump’s original statement before clarification was added.

Other religious faiths may disagree with Christian beliefs but that is a matter of choice and I am not bothered by that choice. Faith in Christ is a choice also. The difference between other non-Muslim religions and Islam is that none of them specifically pinpoint Christianity as a lie that should be dealt with in this life before death. In Islam a lack of submission to Islamic Supremacy is a death sentence politically, culturally or both in Muslim dominated lands. Europe is now experiencing this Muslim intolerance in Muslim dominated conclaves that are no-go zones.

A recent Facebook post by Rev. Franklin Graham is a voice crying in the wilderness in support of Donald Trump’s ideas about Muslim immigration to the USA:

For some time I have been saying that Muslim immigration into the United States should be stopped until we can properly vet them or until the war with Islam is over. Donald J. Trump has been criticized by some for saying something similar. The new Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said yesterday that he disagrees—saying that “such views are not what this party stands for and more importantly it’s not what this country stands for.” Politicians in Washington seem to be totally disconnected with reality.

Research shows that there are 2.75 million Muslims living in the U.S. According to a poll commissioned by the Center for Security Policy, 51% of Muslims living in America believe “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to sharia” (Islamic law) instead of the U.S. Constitution. 29% agree that violence against those who insult Mohammad is acceptable, and 25% agree that violence against America can be justified as part of global jihad. Among males under the age of 45, that number rises to 36%. And 29% of males under 45 believe that violence against America is justified in order to make Sharia the law of the land. This is frightening.

Our politicians are not listening to the truth—my prayer is that God will open their eyes. This affects our security and the future of our nation. Franklin Graham, who heads the Samaritan’s Purse organization as well as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, has endorsed GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s idea of halting Muslim immigration into the United States, at least temporarily.

He warns there’s a good reason: some 144,000 Muslims already in the United States “who openly say without hesitation that violence in the name of Islam is justified!”

Graham’s comments have been posted over the last 24 hours on his Facebook page, where he noted the mantra from “political leaders and world experts” that “the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful people.”

“Some have suggested that as many as 99 percent fall into this category. Well, we don’t have to guess or estimate; the Pew Research Center has released extensive research on how Muslims in the U.S. self-identify on questions of violence – and the conclusions are frightening.”

Graham cited the 1.8 million Muslim adults in the United States.

“Pew Research released that eight percent of adult Muslims in the U.S. said that suicide bombings and other forms of violence in the name of Islam are ‘sometimes’ or ‘often’ justified. Think about it – that’s 144,000 Muslims who openly say without hesitation that violence in the name of Islam is justified!

“That’s not ‘peaceful’ and that’s not a small number – it’s about the size of the entire population of Syracuse, New York!” he wrote.

Earlier he wrote, in endorsing Trump’s idea, that the simple fact a part of America’s Muslim population believes the Constitution should be ruled by Shariah is a concern.

“For some time I have been saying that Muslim immigration into the United States should be stopped until we can properly vet them or until the war with Islam is over,” he wrote.

“Research shows that there are 2.75 million Muslims living in the U.S. According to a poll commissioned by the Center for Security Policy, 51 percent of Muslims living in America believe ‘Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah’ [Islamic law] instead of the U.S. Constitution.”

He continued, “Twenty-nine percent agree that violence against those who insult Mohammad is acceptable, and 25 percent agree that violence against America can be justified as part of global jihad. … This is frightening.”

Trump had called for a halt to Muslim immigration into the U.S. until those in Washington can figure out what to do regarding Islamist terror, especially that inside the U.S. His comments came in the aftermath of the Islamic terror attack in California where a radicalized husband and wife shot and killed 14 and wounded another 21 at a county Christmas party.

Trump has made it clear he is not insulting a religion, but addressing a security concern.

The result of Trump’s comments is that he’s gotten more popular in polls and the Washington Times reported now nearly two-thirds of “likely Republican primary voters support Donald Trump’s plan to bar Muslims from the United States.”

That report cited a Bloomberg Politics poll showed 65 percent of likely Republican voters approved of the Muslim ban, compared to 22 percent who opposed it and 13 percent who didn’t know.

WND had reported on the Pew results just this week. [A]nd the report explained that with only 1 percent of the nation’s population, Muslims managed to account for half of all the nation’s terror attacks following the 9/11 terror attacks.

Mark Krikorian, chief of the Center for Immigration Studies, explained, “That means Muslims in the United States are about 5,000 percent more likely to commit terrorist attacks than non-Muslims.”

The Pew results also suggested a political reason for a Democrat White House to be pursuing hundreds of thousands of such immigrants to bring to the U.S.

Pew found that 70 percent of Muslims in the U.S. vote Democratic, while only 11 percent vote Republican.

American Laws for American Courts (ALAC) are primarily laws passed on the State level in the USA. What is ALAC?

Americans in individual American States have begun to recognize that there are elements in Islam – particularly Sharia Law – that are totally incompatible with the Freedom, Liberty and Rights assured to us by the U.S. Constitution.

 

Since the U.S. Constitution enshrines Religious Freedom in the First Amendment Muslim apologists started to rail against State laws that expressly use the phrase “Sharia Law” to keep American Courts from using Islamic concepts jurisprudence precedents. This happened in Oklahoma when over 70% of the voters passed a law preventing Sharia from being used as a legal precedent in State Courts in 2010. Due largely by a lawsuit filed by Hamas-Muslim Brotherhood connected Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Federal Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange ruled the Oklahoma SQ 755 unconstitutional in 2013 because the law singled out a specific religion. Under Governor Fallin’s direction, rather than pursuing further appeals Oklahoma chose another legal path using the wording of ALAC to specify that OK State Courts cannot use any foreign laws as a legal precedent in rendering decisions. This wisely expands the anti-Sharia focus to include Left Wing agendas that Obama might promote via the auspices of the United Nations and overseas Court proceedings. By August 2013 the OK Senate approved the ALAC wording 40-3 and the OK House approved it 85-7. Governor Mary Fallin then promptly made the ALAC official with her signature. Take that you weaselly Radical Muslims pretending to be Moderate!

 

The Muslim Brotherhood and Saudi inspired Wahhabi lobbyist are still trying to exploit the U.S. Constitution to make unconstitutional portions of Sharia acceptable in the USA. Those Muslim apologists have been joined by American Leftists either deluded that multiculturalism is good or use Islam to fight America’s Christian heritage via cultural dilution.

 

After looking at snail-like slow understanding in America that Islam is a threat, I have to share what I consider some astounding news from the West European nation of Austria. In case you have had your head in the sand – partly due to the failure of the American media – the growing Muslim minority in Western Europe are essentially becoming successful in forcing nations to accept Islamic cultural styles as a part of Europe’s fabric of society. One can hear that the UK, France, Germany, Sweden and Norway to name a few nations have gone out of their way politically to enforce multiculturalism in their society to the point that Muslim-Sharia enclave-zones and even Sharia Law accepted as the rule of law to be enforced in regard to Muslims and to favor Muslims in disputes with non-Muslims.

 

This European socio-political practice is multiculturalism taken to an insane level of destroying their Western heritage.

 

The German-speaking nation of Austria is about to embark on a new rule of law path to begin to emphasize the cultural heritage of Austria over the imported Islamic culture. In this case one can say ALAC can be an acronym for Austria Laws for Austrian Courts. This is huge because not too long ago Austria prosecuted and convicted an Austrian politician for hate-speech in speaking the truth about Islam. Of course the Muslim minority is outraged in Austria because of the potential of ending Islam’s favored status in a European nation that still emphasizes multiculturalism over real Liberty and heritage.

Austria: Civil Law vs. Sharia Law

Austria has emerged as a major base for radical Islam and as a central hub for European jihadists to fight in Syria.

 

The proposed revisions would, among other changes, regulate the training and hiring of Muslim clerics, prohibit the foreign funding of mosques, and establish an official German-language version of the Koran to prevent its “misinterpretation” by Islamic extremists.

 

Muslims would be prohibited from citing Islamic sharia law as legal justification for ignoring or disobeying Austrian civil laws.

 

Leaders of Austria’s Muslim community counter that the contemplated new law amounts to “institutionalized Islamophobia.”

 

Official statistics show that nearly 60% of the inhabitants of Vienna are immigrants or foreigners. The massive demographic and religious shift underway in Austria, traditionally a Roman Catholic country, appears irreversible.

 

The Austrian government has unveiled a sweeping overhaul of the country’s century-old “Islam Law” that governs the legal status of Austria’s Muslim community.

 

The proposed revisions—which are aimed at cracking down on Islamic extremism in Austria—would regulate the training and hiring of Muslim clerics, prohibit the foreign funding of mosques, and establish an official German-language version of the Koran, among other changes.

 

The government says the modifications would give Muslims legal parity with other religious groups in Austria. But the leaders of Austria’s Muslim community counter that the contemplated new law amounts to “institutionalized Islamophobia.”

 

The updated Islam Law (Islamgesetz) was presented as a draft bill to parliament on October 2 and overhauls the current law, which dates back to 1912.

 

The original law was brought into being to help integrate Muslim soldiers into the Habsburg Army after the Austro-Hungarian Empire annexed Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1908. The law recognized Islam as a religious community in Austria, and allowed Muslims to practice their religion in accordance with the laws of the state.

 

After the Austro-Hungarian Empire collapsed in the aftermath of World War I, the number of Muslims in Austria was reduced to just a few hundred people. After World War II, however, Austria’s Muslim population increased rapidly with the arrival of “guest workers” from Turkey and the Balkans in the 1960s, and refugees from Bosnia in the 1990s.

 

The Muslim population in Austria now exceeds 500,000 (or roughly 6% of the total population), up from an estimated 150,000 (or 2%) in 1990. The Muslim population is expected to reach 800,000 (or 9.5%) by 2030, according to recent estimates.

 

Official statistics show that nearly 60% of the inhabitants of Vienna, the capital and largest city of Austria, are immigrants or foreigners.

 

The massive demographic and religious shift underway in Austria, traditionally a Roman Catholic country, appears irreversible. In Vienna, for example, Muslim students now outnumber Catholic students at middle and secondary schools. Muslim students are also on the verge of overtaking Catholics in Viennese elementary schools.

 

At the same time, Austria has emerged as a major base for radical Islam. A June 2014 report by the Austrian intelligence agency [BVT] warned of the “exploding radicalization of the Salafist scene in Austria.” Salafism is an anti-Western ideology that seeks to impose Islamic sharia law.

 

Austria has also emerged as a central hub for European jihadists seeking to fight in Syria, because Austria’s geographic location provides easy access to land routes through the Balkans.

In an interview with Austrian Public Radio Ö1-Morgenjournal, the Austrian Minister for Integration and Foreign Affairs, Sebastian Kurz, said the rapid rise of Islam in Austria has rendered the old Islam Law obsolete. A new law is needed, he said, to stipulate more clearly the rights and responsibilities of Muslims living in the country.

 

From now on, according to Kurz, Muslims residing in Austria will be expected to adhere to Austrian values and to acknowledge the primacy of Austrian law over Islamic Sharia law. In practice, he said, this means that Muslims would be prohibited from citing Islamic law as legal justification for ignoring or disobeying Austrian civil laws. Sharia law has “no place” in Austria, he stressed.

 

The new law would regulate at least a dozen separate issues, including relatively non-controversial matters such as Muslim holidays, Muslim cemeteries, Muslim dietary practices and the activities of Muslim clergy in hospitals, prisons and the army.

 

More significantly, however, the bill seeks to limit the religious and political influence of foreign governments within the Austrian Muslim community by prohibiting foreign countries—presumably Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the Arab Gulf states—from financing Islamic centers and mosques in Austria.

 

The legislation also seeks to prevent the growth of a parallel Islamic society in Austria by regulating mosques and requiring clerics to be trained exclusively at Austrian universities. The new law would require Muslim groups to terminate the employment of clerics who have criminal records or who are deemed to pose a threat to public safety.

 

The new restrictions—including an employment ban for foreign clerics in Austria—would apply especially to Turkey: 65 of the 300 Muslim clerics working in Austria are Turkish civil servants whose salaries are being paid for by the Turkish government’s Religious Affairs Directorate, the Diyanet.

 

Muslims leaders in Austria say that in the absence of foreign funding, many mosques in Austria would have to be “closed immediately” because they are not financially viable apart from outside support. Moreover, they argue, the prohibition of foreign funding violates the constitution because the same restrictions are not being applied to Christians or Jews.

 

The foreign funding restrictions, however, do not appear to apply to the Vienna-based King Abdullah International Center for Inter-Religious and Inter-Cultural Dialogue. Critics say the multi-million-dollar institution, which was inaugurated in November 2012, is an effort by Saudi Arabia to establish a permanent “propaganda center” in central Europe from which to spread the anti-Western Wahhabi sect of Islam throughout the rest of Europe.

 

The new Islam Law also requires the Austrian Muslim community to agree on a standardized German-language translation of the Koran, the Hadiths and other Islamic religious texts. The government has argued that an official version of the texts would prevent their “misinterpretation” by Islamic extremists.

 

“There are countless translations, countless interpretations,” Kurz told public radio Ö1. “We will be pushing for this vigorously. It is also in the interest of the Muslim community that words are correctly interpreted and reproduced.”

 

However, Muslim leaders say it would be next to impossible for Sunnis, Shiites and Alawites to agree on a “correct” translation of the Koran. In any event, they say, the state cannot outlaw alternative translations.

 

A group called Muslim Youth of Austria [MJÖ] has described the new Islam Law as an “intolerable legal scandal” that seeks to “place the broad mainstream of Muslims either under state supervision, or to split them into weak and therefore meaningless groups.”

 

The president of the Austrian Islamic Community [IGGiÖ], Fuat Sanac, says the new law is “naïve” and treats Muslims as “second-class” citizens: “We do not agree with the draft Islam Law. It was presented to the public without our approval.”

 

Sanac has vowed to file an appeal with Austria’s constitutional court to stop the new law, which he says “risks humiliating” the country’s Muslim population.

 

Kurz maintains that the primary purpose of the new Islam Law is to establish the “primacy of national law over religious law.”

 

The government hopes the new law will be approved by Parliament in November and enter into force sometime in 2015. However, Muslim opposition to the initiative may mean that the 1912 version of the law will remain unchanged for the foreseeable future.

Hmm … As an American, what would you think if the Obama Administration directed hundreds of millions of dollars to go to Islamic Terrorists? As an American you should be supportive of the USA’s only real ally in the Middle East – Israel. A Jim Kouri article at Examiner.com reported on 10/12/14 that President Barack Hussein Obama’s Administration has GIVEN the Hamas Islamic terrorists $212 MILLION bucks because those poor abused folks in Gaza have been abused by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF):

Obama’s supports the enemies of our ally Israel. The propaganda thus justifies Hamas targeting of Jewish civilians – men, women, teenagers and children – for murder in the name of Islam and for the destruction of Israel. American and European Leftists are okay with this kind of “humanitarian” support because apparently it is acceptable to murder Jews in a more technological society such as tiny Israel and whine about a sophisticated response from Israel that rips Hamas’ infrastructure (See Also HERE) that also kills human shields that are as much voluntary as they may be coerced to sacrifice themselves to protect Hamas military assets that target Israeli cities.

 

I have a problem with this idiotic antisemitic reasoning by Western Leftists. AND my fellow Americans, you should have a problem with this as well.

 

Israel has struggled to exist as an independent nation in the ORIGINAL homeland of the world’s Jews since 1948 when FIVE (or seven considering the Arab-Muslim militia set-up within the defunct British Mandate for Palestine) invading Muslim-nation armies tried to destroy it more for selfish territorial desires by relatively newly independent Muslim nations using the Islamic dar al-Islam (House of Islam) argument that Muslims were being displaced by usurping post-WWII European Jews.

 

The only thing remotely true about the Muslim apologist propaganda is that a majority of Jews returning to their ancient homeland were from persecuted European nations stretching from the Atlantic to Russia (then USSR). These European Jews began returning to their homeland even before WWII which means before Adolf Hitler made his contemptuous attempt to exterminate Jews of irreligious heritage and religious Jews from the European continent. Of course after the Western world became aware of the result of Hitler’s attempted Final Solution for Jewry via the Holocaust murdering about SIX MILLION Jews, the impetus to establish a sovereign Jewish Nation became something the West’s more democratic elected governments were forced to listen in a more positive manner.

 

Hence when many Western nations began to view their National Interests lay more with pacifying Middle Eastern Muslims than supporting an independent sovereign Jewish Nation, some of those Western nations began backroom efforts to thwart an independent Israel. The United Kingdom in particular sent British military officers as the leadership corps of Jordan’s (then Transjordan) Arab Legion which was the only Muslim military force that was able to push back the rag tag but unified Jewish forces of the new Israel. Jordan’s Arab Legion under the command of British generalship pushed Israeli forces back from historical Judea-Samaria rooted out the ancient Jewish Quarter of the Jerusalem Old City (now termed as East Jerusalem by Muslim apologists and global Leftists) until a rough armistice was reached after it became apparent the other invading Muslim armies failed in their unholy quest to drive Jews into the Mediterranean Sea completing another Holocaust of Jews a mere three years after Hitler’s execution of his Final Solution Holocaust.

 

I am still amazed that Muslims have been taught so much hatred toward Jews that they cannot agree to befriending a very tiny sliver of land of the ancient Jewish Homeland to Jews who have had both a heartfelt desire to live free from antisemitic persecution and/or a religious desire to attain their aged old prayer of “next year in Jerusalem” (Orthodox thinking HERE and HERE; Jewish Reform Allegorical thinking HERE and HERE; Conservative/Masorti thinking HERE; Historical HERE – Full Disclosure: I am what many would describe as a Christian Zionist [ICEJ & John Hagee] hence the preceding links on Jewish attitudes toward this prayer is subject to my quick perusal and may not be totally accurate).

 

The Muslim-Arabs accredited as displaced after 1948 are largely (but obviously not totally) come from Muslim descendants that were also fairly recent arrivals to the part of the Levant which is now Israel. AND during the years of Muslim nations threatening to destroy Israel those displaced Muslims got out of dodge because they didn’t want to be around when Jews defending their new sovereignty fought with blood thirsty Muslim-Arab armies dedicated to killing Jews. Those displaced Muslims chose not to be victims of the crossfire, indeed the invading armies had sent out word to flee to safety until the Jews were cleansed from the land.

 

So when the majority of invading armies failed in their mission to destroy Israel, that left a refugee problem that the nations representing those invading armies REFUSED to solve by absorbing them into their own nations. Instead it would be decided to exploit those refugees as a tool for continuous future invasions and after 1967 the promotion of Islamic terrorism to undermine Israel’s existence.

The American people do not object to the Muslims or their worship of Allah, until the ideology of their “religion” contravenes the individual liberties provided by the U.S. Constitution and infringes upon our Constitutional Rights, in the manner that 75% of the Hadith and Sira does, as applied under Sharia law; and, despite Scott Broden’s assertions in ‘Freedom of Religion…’ (Daily News Journal 6-5-14), the opponents to the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro (ICM) are not the first to state that Islam seeks “to establish Sharia law as the new code of conduct here. “Islamists and their imams are often heard saying, “Islam will reign supreme in America.”

 

“We will implement the rule of God on earth by the tip of the sword.” These are the words of the American-born Anwar al-Awlaqi, from Los Cruces, New Mexico, who became a top Al Qaeda leader.

 

In February 2011, the Islamic Thinkers Society, based in New York, planned to have Islamofascist Anjem Choudary (Chourday) speak at their protest rally. Choudary (Chourday) told the ‘Daily Star’ newspaper, days before the event, that “the event is a rally, a call for the Muslims to rise up and establish the Islamic state in America.”

 

Today, there remains significantly so much more at stake in Murfreesboro, TN and across America than many people realize or understand, and the failed public notice policy, the completion of the ICM expansion and the disservice to the American people committed by the U.S. Supreme Court, in this instance, bode ill moving ahead. Propagandists and apologists for Islam, such as Broden, and Islam’s enablers, like the Rutherford County Commission, would have us believe that Islam and its mosques are benign, innocent and peaceful, when all the evidence is to the contrary.

 

Peaceful? The ICM had board member Mossad (Mosaad) Rawash proclaiming the joy of dying as a martyr for Jihad [Blog Editor: I couldn’t confirm this but HERE is Rawash’s support for violence in the name of Islam]; and, in January 2009, the community witnessed an ICM protest in support of Hamas, as thousands of Hamas mortars and missiles rained down on Israel. We all heard their battle cry of Jihad, “Allahu Akbar”, rising up in the streets. As this congregation grows in membership, so too will its propensity towards violent measures against non-Muslims, as commanded by the Koran and the Hadith.

 

“If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizyah (tax). If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them…” (Hadith #1731).

 

“What moved me to do what I did was purely my faith. I was motivated by the law that commands me to cut off the head of anyone who insults Allah and his Prophet.” This was the explanation Mohammed Bouyeri gave the court for stabbing Dutch film maker Theo Van Gogh to death, while holding a Koran.

 

Compounding the problem, the Obama administration and DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson unilaterally “relaxed” immigration “rules” for people with “loose terrorist associations” in February 2014. This enabled scores of highly trained Muslim terrorists posing as “refugees” from Iraq and Syria to enter the U.S. once more (155,000 combined total in 2013), after thousands of Syrians fraudulently entered in August 2013; ABC News confirmed this in November 2013.

 

The Center for Immigration Studies report from 2012 states that the U.S. refugee program “is increasingly bringing in groups that have stated openly they do not intend to assimilate into American culture.” More than misplaced sympathy, it is self-destructive and sheer stupidity to bring population groups linked to terror into America, and it all too often leads directly to terrorist attacks on our soil (take note Mr. Broden).

 

Muslims take advantage of American kindness, gullibility and compassion. When the time comes, they will attack us more terribly than they did on 9/11, the Islamic way. They say one thing on camera – “Islam is the religion of peace”, and they teach something different to their children – Koran 8:12 “Terrorize and behead the infidels wherever you find them.” This is well documented by Arabic speaking journalists, such as Laura Mansfield (WND April 2005).

 

Since 9/11, no suicide bombings have been successfully conducted by islamofascists in the United States (Tsarnaevs not considered in this category), but six cases involved Muslims explicitly seeking to conduct Al Qaeda-type “martyrdom operations”. In Zachary Karabatak’s case, he had overstayed his visitor’s visa, and he was plotting to detonate bombs at military installations in Virginia and the Capitol Building in DC, declaring his intentions to collapse the entire dome in January 2012. And this is just one of fifteen other major terror plots during the same time frame.

In 1992, Imam Zaid Shakir, one of the founders of Zaytuna – America’s first Muslim college, preached that a new Caliphate (an Islamic state ruling the world by Sharia) should be created that will wage jihad and “use …weaponry against the enemies of Islam,” during his sermon, titled ‘Failure of the Muslim Political Order’. Continuing on to 2013, Shakir told 32,000 Muslims attending an Islamic Circle of North America convention in Maryland, that “If Islam is the basis, the kafir (nonbeliever)…the Christian…the Jew will be dhimmi (second-class citizen). They won’t be equal with the Muslim.”

 

On January 26, 2013 in Falls Church, Virginia, Shaker Elsaed (Elsayed), a well-known Islamic leader, spoke to an audience at T C Williams High School and stated: “The enemies of Allah are lining up…are we lining (up) or are we afraid because they may call us terrorists?…Make this title (terrorist) worth it, and be a good Muslim.” Evidently Elsaed believes a good Muslim is a terrorist Muslim.

 

It is not fear that motivates many opponents to the spread of Islam and Sharia law within America. We simply understand the threat of Islam, much as farm kids understand the threat of a rabid dog. We have seen what Islam does globally – we have seen what Islam does here. Judging purely on its scripture, to say nothing of the way it is preached in the mosques and actually practiced, Islam is the most vicious sectarian of all “religions” in its heartlessness towards nonbelievers. We contend that Islam is the problem.

 

Many people deny the existential threat within Islam’s foundational texts, or they attempt to recast Islam to fit their perceived vision of Islam or their own political agenda. None are so blind as those who cannot see, that Islam and the Koran sanctify terrorism and many types of human rights violations, in order to distinguish them from mere criminal behavior, in the Muslim mind – that Mohammed’s lifetime example of theft, rape and murder and pedophilia has nurtured the Islamofascist worldview, and that it is Mohammed’s final commands from his death bed (Koran Chapter 9) that continually inspire so many jihadists to wage their Holy War against nonbelievers

Here is an example of Muslim Apologists using the Word of God (i.e. the Holy Bible) to propagandize gullible Muslims and nominal Christians in promoting the idiocy that Mohammed is in the Bible.

 

19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”

 

20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”

 

21 And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?”

He said, “I am not.”

“Are you the Prophet?”

And he answered, “No.”

 

22 Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?” (John 1: 19-22 NKJV)

 

Shabir Ally says John the Baptist talks about three people he is not:

 

1)     The Baptist is not the Christ.

 

2)     The Baptist is not Elijah of old.

 

3)     The Baptist is not “the Prophet”.

 

This Shabir character tells his listeners that “the Prophet” spoken of is none other than the Muslim prophet Mohammed. Acts17Apologetics posted this video of Shabir Ally telling his listeners. This is an overt lie Shabir is telling as is refuted in the video.

 

Shabir blatantly leaves out the context of the above verses by placing them in the context of the entire first chapter of the Gospel of John.

 

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

 

15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”

 

16 And[a] of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

 

24 Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, saying, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

 

26 John answered them, saying, “I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. 27 It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose.”

 

28 These things were done in Bethabara[a] beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

 

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ 31 I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water.”

 

32 And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.” (John 1: 14-16; 24-34 NKJV)

 

Scripture makes it pretty clear that John the Baptist was not the Christ but that Jesus the son of Mary and the son of God is the Christ. Clearly neither John the Baptist nor Jesus was Elijah but Scripture tells us the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah as a messenger of the coming Christ.

 

Jesus talking to the John’s disciples:

 

7 As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 8 But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. 10 For this is he of whom it is written:

 

‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.’[a]

 

11 “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. (Bold Emphasis Mine – Matthew 11: 7-14 NKJV)

 

And “the Prophet” is a prophetic moment spoken by Moses that in later days a prophet would rise up like himself to lead Israel.

 

15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear, 16 according to all you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.’

 

17 “And the Lord said to me: ‘What they have spoken is good. 18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. (Deuteronomy 18: 15-19 NKJV)

 

Muslim Apologists at this moment will try to distort the truth again and claim that the prophet that God would raise up like Moses is Mohammed. However, if you read Mohammed’s version of the Old Testament you will notice immediately that the Quran twists the Holy Bible narrative to an unrecognizable story even going so far that Ishmael the son of the slave Hagar and Abraham was the child of Promise instead of Isaac the son of Sarah (free and wife) and Abraham. Whereas the New Testament does no twisting and Peter under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit preached:

 

18 But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,[a] 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. 22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’[b]24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold[c] these days. 25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’[d] 26 To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.” (Acts 3: 18-26 NKJV)

 

As you can tell I have no regard of the Quran as being holy or of divine origin. The Bible is the Word of God and any refutation of this truth is of an antichrist spirit.

 

18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the[a] Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

 

20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.[b] 21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

Senator Diane Feinstein is the consummate Left Wing Democrat in the transforming America utopian pipedream that closet Marxists and Socialists dream is on high speed to fruition. To supporters of the U.S. Constitution Feinstein fired-up 2nd Amendment proponents by suggesting legal rules that would make the 2nd Amendment irrelevant without a Constitutional Amendment to make any such change.

 

That being said, if you don’t know by now, I am among other Conservative projects a Counterjihad Blogger. Essentially that means I believe Islam, Quran, Hadith, Sira or whatever; are designed to transform humanity into the Muslim view of deity, theology and way of living. That Muslim agenda must be accomplished by any means necessary. Muslims try peace first, subjugation, oppressive submission and if all else fails – a brutal form of Capital Punishment undoubtedly to set an example to those who would dare oppose Mohammed’s deity they call Allah.

A Tale of Three Senators

In a time where courage is a precious commodity on Capital Hill, a Democratic U.S. Senator has set an admirable example of statesmanship in stark contrast to two of her former colleagues.

Senator Diane Feinstein of California, the Chair of Senate Intelligence Committee has sounded the alarm over the escalating threat from Jihadist terrorism and released a report in the pursuit of the truth about the terrorist attack on U.S. diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11th, 2012.

Senator Feinstein’s words and deeds stand in stark contrast to those of former Senators Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, the former and current Obama administration Secretaries of State.

Senator Feinstein recently correctly defined our enemies as a “very fundamentalist jihadist Islamic community” – in a warning that terrorism is on the rise. During a December 1st interview on CNN’s State of the Union with Candy Crowley, Senator Feinstein noted,

 

I think there is a real displaced aggression in this very fundamentalist jihadist Islamic community. And that is, that the West is responsible for everything that goes wrong and that the only thing that’s going to solve this, is Islamic sharia law and the concept of the caliphate. And I see more groups, more fundamentalists, more jihadists, more determined to kill to get where they want to get. So, it’s not an isolated phenomenon. You see these groups spread a web of connections. And this includes North Africa, it includes the Middle East, it includes other areas as well.

 

It took great courage for Senator Feinstein to publicly identify the enemy and describe the basics of the doctrine that underpins their actions. She knew full well that her democratic base will be very uncomfortable with her bold truth about a problem that is devastating our country yet no one wants to identify including the president. Her words were like a breath of fresh air. Few Republicans, much less Democrats, on Capitol Hill have done as good a job of articulating the threat we face from Jihad.

Unfortunately, Feinstein’s former colleague, Secretary of State John Kerry, is not nearly as well informed as she is. He has uttered nothing to indicate that he has any grasp of the enemy threat doctrine and what makes our enemies “tick.”

In fact, just this week, Kerry parroted the long-discredited theory that terrorism is caused by poverty. In remarks delivered during a visit to the Vatican, Kerry proclaimed poverty to be the “root cause” of terrorism.

This isn’t the first time Kerry has regurgitated such nonsense. Speaking at the Global Counterterrorism Forum in the wake of the Jihadist terrorist attack on a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya, Kerry called for “providing more economic opportunities” for youth to prevent them from being recruited to terrorism.

Perhaps Kerry has forgotten that Osama Bin Laden was a multimillionaire who left a life of luxury in Saudi Arabia to wage global jihad? Or maybe he forgets that the current leader of Al Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, was no pauper either. He was a professor of surgery and practicing physician at one time in his native Egypt before he turned to jihad. Then there is current captive Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who was well off enough to come to the United States to earn a degree in engineering from North Carolina A&T.

There is no actual evidence that poverty causes terrorism. Jihadist terrorism has its roots in the doctrine known as sharia. Jihadists have come to commit acts of terror from a variety of lifestyles, nationalities and socioeconomic backgrounds. There is no evidence to indicate that poverty is a prerequisite for Jihadist terrorism, despite what Kerry says.

In fact, Kerry’s statement shows a profound confusion and naïveté when it comes to the war with which we are faced. Fortunately, Senator Feinstein doesn’t have the same problem that Secretary Kerry has.

In fact, as Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Feinstein has just released a new, bipartisan report on the Jihadist terror attack on US diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11th, 2012, that goes a long way toward dispelling some of the myths surrounding that attack and assigning accountability for what went wrong.

Among the report’s findings:

• The attack was NOT a spontaneous act of violence touched off by a protest in reaction to a video about the prophet Mohammed.

• The U.S. government did not do enough to prevent the attack or protect the diplomatic facilities.

• The Obama State Department had ample warning of a dangerous security situation in Benghazi but failed to take proper action to secure lives and property.

• The Obama intelligence community issued statements after the attack that turned out to be wrong and then was slow in correcting those incorrect statements.

Feinstein’s committee’s candid, accurate report is quite different from the testimony before the Senate delivered by Senator Feinstein’s former colleague, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on January 23rd, 2013. Who can forget the shameful prevarications and doublespeak from Hillary Clinton that day?

But worst of all was this cynical and infamous passage:

 

With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest? Or was it because of guys out for a walk one night and decided they would go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?

 

Congratulations to Senator Feinstein for identifying the mistakes for which Hillary Clinton was ultimately responsible and laying out the facts for the American people that Benghazi was PREVENTABLE, because to us, it DOES make a difference!

Exploiting Christian Persecution to Demonize Israel

What’s worse than the silence of Western Christians concerning the Muslim persecution of their coreligionists in the Islamic world? Answer: Cynically exploiting that persecution for a political agenda—in the case of a recent Daily Beast article, to excoriate the state of Israel and its supporters.

 

Titled “Why Won’t the West Defend Middle Eastern Christians?” and written by Diarmaid MacCulloch, a Fellow of St. Cross College, the article touches on the persecution of Christians, but primarily as a springboard to attack American Christian support for Israel. Consider the following excerpt:

 

… one of the silences which I find most frustrating is precisely the lack of noise from Western Christians about the fate of ancient Christianities in the Middle East. At the heart of the problems in the Middle East is seven decades of unresolved conflict between Israel and Palestine…

 

Yes, Western silence vis-à-vis the plight of Mideast Christians is as real as it is frustrating, but exactly how is MacCulloch able to jump to the conclusion that the Arab-Israeli conflict is “the heart” of the problem?

 

What about the well-documented Islamic doctrines that codify the suppression and persecution of Christians and other non-Muslims?

 

What about the documented fact that Christians under Islam have been persecuted for more than 1300 years before the existence of the state of Israel, in complete accordance to said doctrines?

 

What about the fact that Christians are currently being persecuted in every corner of the Islamic world, as documented in my monthly “Muslim Persecution of Christians” series—including diverse countries such as Pakistan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, and every corner of Africa—and not just the Middle East?

 

Surely this is the true “heart of the problem”—and not the tiny and relatively new state of Israel.

 

Of course, to thinkers like MacCulloch, all the above points concerning Islamic hostility for Christians are not open to consideration, for they portray Islam in a negative light and so must be false (see Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians for abundant documentation otherwise.)

 

Instead, MacCulloch offers politically correct boilerplate statements, such as: “Christians are scapegoated for their faith by an extremist militant minority of Muslims, who betray their own religion by intolerance, and who make other Muslims ashamed of what is happening.”

 

Indeed, it is MacCulloch who betrays himself by characterizing Islam as a “tolerant” faith when any moderately objective reading of doctrine and history—made manifest in daily headlines—all prove the reverse.

 

Likewise, instead of delving into and exposing the true “heart of the problem,” MacCulloch critiques Protestant eschatology and U.S. support for Israel, the consequences of which “have been particularly dire for the traditional Christianities of the Middle East.”

 

It would have been more useful and sincere if he had addressed more glaring questions, for example:

 

o   When the Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters in Egypt torched some 80 churches and murdered Christians, including children—not to mention all the other anti-Christian atrocities they committed before and since—was that because of Israel or something else?

 

o   When Islamic rebels in Syria terrorize Christians, behead their priests and pastors, break Christian crosses and smash icons—all while shouting Islamic slogans—is that because of Israel or something more innate?

 

o   When Muslims in Indonesia illegally close off churches forcing Christians to celebrate Christmas in the streets—only to have cow dung and urine hurled at them—is that because of Israel, or something more ingrained?

 

o   When the Nigerian Islamic group Boko Haram destroys hundreds of churches and slaughters thousands of Christians, and when, on the other side of Africa, the Somali Islamic group Al-Shabaab terrorizes and beheads converts to Christianity—is that because of Israel or something more doctrinal?

 

o   Indeed, when Christian minorities in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip are abducted and forced to convert to Islam, is that because of Israel or the elephant in the room?

 

MacCulloch is correct about one thing: many Muslims do hate Israel. But that hate, far from prompting the persecution of Christians, is actually a byproduct of the same hostility Islamic supremacism engenders for all non-Muslims. The reason it is much more viral for Israel is because the Jewish state is in a unique position of authority over Muslims unlike vulnerable Christian minorities (as fully explained in this article).

 

The theme of silence permeates MacCulloch’s Daily Beast article—specifically, that Western Christians are silent concerning the plight of their persecuted brethren. This silence is true and troubling—and many mainstream American Protestant denominations are certainly guilty of it.

 

However, instead of exploiting the sufferings of Christian minorities simply to scapegoat Israel—ironically a nation that is in an existential struggle against the very same ideology and forces that persecute Christians—it might have been better for MacCulloch himself to be silent.
