Support the Land of Promise for Jews Through Israel

I am a HUGE supporter of Israel. I am not Jewish but I am a Christian Zionist. WHY? Because of God Almighty’s Promise to Abraham which proceeds through the lineage of Isaac rather than Ishmael or any other sons of Abraham. Here are some lengthy Old Testament excerpts solidifying God’s Promise to Abraham (Genesis 15: 2-5, 13-14, 16, 18-21; 17: 1-8, 15-19, 21; 21: 1-3, 9-10, 12; 22: 15-18 NKJV):

 

Genesis 15:2-5

 

2 But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I [a]go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one[b] born in my house is my heir!”

 

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” 5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

 

Genesis 15:13-14

 

13 Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. 14 And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions.

 

Genesis 15:16

 

16 But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”

 

Genesis 15:18-21

 

18 On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying:

“To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates— 19 the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, 20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

 

Genesis 17:1-8

 

17 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am [a]Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. 2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” 3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: 4 “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of [b]many nations. 5 No longer shall your name be called [c]Abram, but your name shall be [d]Abraham; for I have made you a father of [e]many nations. 6 I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. 7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. 8 Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in[f] which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

 

Genesis 17:15-19

 

15 Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but [a]Sarah shall be her name. 16 And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her.”

 

17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?” 18 And Abraham said to God, “Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!”

 

19 Then God said: “No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him.

 

Genesis 17:21

 

21 But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.”

 

Genesis 21:1-3

 

21 And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. 2 For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. 3 And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him—whom Sarah bore to him—Isaac.[a]

 

Genesis 21:9-10

 

9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, scoffing.[a] 10 Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this bondwoman and her son; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely with Isaac.”

 

Genesis 21:12

 

12 But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.

 

Genesis 22:15-18

 

15 Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, 16 and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son— 17 blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. 18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

 

AND THAT JUST TO ABRAHAM! God Almighty continued the Promise of Land and blessings before possession through Abraham’s son Isaac and grandson Jacob (renamed Israel) – Genesis 26:3-5; 27:26-29; 28:13-14; 35:11-12 NKJV.

 

There are more Scriptures related to the Land of Promise via Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to their descendants which are the Jews. Frankly do not look at the lying devilish book known as the Quran – IT IS A COUNTERFEIT manifested to do the design Satan hoped for in the Garden deception of Adam and Eve which messed up all humanity until the RETURN of Jesus the Christ/Messiah to restore all things to God Almighty’s design for His Creation.

 

AND SO, this is the lead up to an email I received from Christians in Defense of Israel. The email’s focus is garner support for Israel to declare sovereignty over Judea and Samaria (the land the rest of the world has been brainwashed to call the West Bank) AND plea for President Trump to recognize such sovereignty. Christians in Defense of Israel  lobbying President Trump with a petition linked in the email. I SIGNED IT!

 

In full disclosure, the petition appears to have the second purpose as a fund raiser for Christians in Defense of Israel. It is a worthy organization to support, but I personally am not in a financial position to donate thus I just signed the petition and moved on. HOWEVER, if you are in a financial position to give I urge you to do so.

But it’s also land—as I explain below—which God specifically promised to Abraham and his descendants some 4,000 years ago.

And that promise is still in force.

+ + Abraham was in the “West Bank” when God promised him the land!

It’s well known that God promised “all the land of Canaan” to Abraham and his descendants. But what’s not widely known is where Abraham was when God made that promise.

The surprising fact is that Abraham was living in the so-called West Bank when God twice promised him and his descendants the land of Israel!

On one occasion, Abraham was in ancient Shechem, now known as Nablus—a Palestinian city in the northern West Bank—when God appeared to him and said, “To your offspring I will give this land” (Genesis 12:7).

Later, when Abraham settled at Hebron, an ancient city in the southern West Bank, God gave Abraham another land promise: “I will give to you and to your offspring after you . . . all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession” (Genesis 17:8).

And yet the world denounces Israel for “occupying” the West Bank—better known as Judea and Samaria!

 

  • Israel-hating congresswoman Ilhan Omar attacks Israel for the “cruel reality of the occupation.” She bashes the Jewish state for its “brutal occupation.”
  • UN Security Council resolution 2334—President Obama’s parting shot at Israel—labels Jewish neighborhoods in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) “a flagrant violation under international law and a major obstacle” to peace.

 

But how can you “occupy” what is, in fact, yours?

U.S. Government: DEFUND UNITED NATIONS

Many Conservatives believe the United Nations’ current function is a useless load of horse manure that too often acts counter to U.S. National Interests and National Sovereignty. Ergo Conservatives such as I, have been advocating leaving the UN or least defund the global body.

 

I have signed numerous petitions to take some kind of anti-UN action or another. The petitions are typically useless. The only true function of a petition in the USA is to exert influence in rallying Senate and/or House support for any hero member of Congress to introduce legislation that has some form of anti-UN action in it.

 

It is my pleasure to share a Christians in Defense of Israel (CIDI) calling on Congress to defund the United Nations. A quick perusal of the petition shows the petition-goal is 10,000. Personally it is my belief that a mere 10,000 signatures will move a Senator or Representative to move on defunding. So, it would be nice to round up enough signatures that far surpasses 10,000. I am imagining more like multiple millions. THAT WILL GET THE ATTENTION OF MEMBERS OF CONGRESS!

 

The reasoning behind the CIDI petition to defund the UN as the immense amount of antisemitism spewed from Arab nations that hate Jews and so by extension accuse the nation Israel of unjustly protecting their sovereignty with excessive abuse. The REALITY is Israel’s neighbors and the Arabs living in the Biblically Promised land of the Jews (i.e. Arabs making up a non-existent people of Palestinians) have been committing acts of terrorism against Jews since Israel’s independence in 1948.

 

HENCE, the UN has been supporting Jew-Hatred policies at least since the 1960s but even more virulently today.

REPORT: WHY WE MUST DEFUND THE U.N.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls it a “place of darkness for my country.”

Donald Trump slammed it in 2016, saying “it surely is not a friend to Israel.”

And U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley blasted its “outrageously biased resolutions” and “breathtaking double standards.”

I’m speaking, of course, about the United Nations. Year after year this “theater of the absurd” viciously attacks, maligns, and demonizes the one Jewish state. Legal scholar Anne Bayefsky denounces it as the “world’s leading purveyor of anti-Semitism.”

It’s a place where Israel can do almost no right. And rogue states like Syria, Iran and North Korea can do almost no wrong. Just last year, the 193-nation UN General Assembly passed 21 resolutions criticizing Israel. But only six targeting the rest of the world.

Somehow the Middle East’s one true democracy—a lighthouse of freedom—deserved three times more censure than all other nations. And this has been going on for decades.

Nearly 40 years ago, America’s ambassador to the UN Jeanne Kirkpatrick charged the UN was “pathologically obsessed” with Israel. She called it “the principal forum of a concerted worldwide campaign against” the Jewish state. That was 1981. It’s still true today. And will be in years to come . . . unless you and I act now.

Bible Banning Despite 1st Amendment

I have been seeing Social Media posts claiming California has legislation in the works to ban the Bible. I chalked the information up to Fake News or maybe – cough – Russian bots trying to rile up Conservative Values supporters.

 

After all, how in the world can secularist and/or atheist Lefties believe they can get away with such a huge violation of the First Amendment, RIGHT?

 

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Ever heard of the book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury? The book is one of my favorites from my Sci-Fi teen reading days. It should be bought and become required reading for every household to understand the power of State totalitarianism. Perhaps the Leftist legislators will ban Fahrenheit 451 along with the Bible to make sure their citizens remain ignorant of political totalitarianism.

 

Before you pooh-pooh the idea of the California State legislators banning books, here is the Assembly Bill No. 2943 California Legislative Information published 03/23/2018 09:00 PM.

 

The Bill no where mentions the Bible or the morality of the Christian Faith. However, using commercial practices as a pretext AB 2943 declares all things associated with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) lifestyle is a part of the natural order of existence. Thus, the law prohibits any action to change the LGBTQ lifestyle as illegal. I was going to cross post the entirety of AB 2943, then I realized after copying the Act to a separate Word Document that consumed 18 pages, the reading would be a bit mundane. Here is a relevant excerpt affecting Freedom:

 

AB 2943, as amended, Low. Unlawful business practices: sexual orientation change efforts.

 

…

 

This bill would include, as an unlawful practice prohibited under the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with an individual. The bill would also declare the intent of the Legislature in this regard.

 

…

 

SECTION 1.

 

The Legislature finds and declares the following:

 

(a) Contemporary science recognizes that being lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender is part of the natural spectrum of human identity and is not a disease, disorder, or illness.

 

(b) The American Psychological Association convened the Task Force on Appropriate Therapeutic Responses to Sexual Orientation. The task force conducted a systematic review of peer-reviewed journal literature on sexual orientation change efforts and issued a report in 2009. The task force concluded that sexual orientation change efforts can pose critical health risks to lesbian, gay, and bisexual people, including confusion, depression, guilt, helplessness, hopelessness, shame, social withdrawal, suicidality, substance abuse, stress, disappointment, self-blame, decreased self-esteem and authenticity to others, increased self-hatred, hostility and blame toward parents, feelings of anger and betrayal, loss of friends and potential romantic partners, problems in sexual and emotional intimacy, sexual dysfunction, high-risk sexual behaviors, a feeling of being dehumanized and untrue to self, a loss of faith, and a sense of having wasted time and resources.

 

AB 2943 goes on as pertaining to the LGBTQ lifestyle, to verify LGBTQ morality protections and villainize (perhaps illegalize) Biblical Values by using numerous Leftist social organizations declaring homosexual choice as normal. You can muddle through the entire Bill to read what I mean. Just to be clear, there are some good consumer protections in the Bill pertaining to commerce. The good is heavily obscured though by the intent to make it easy to sue distributors of Christian materials – which would include the Bible – that homosexuality is natural rather an unnatural abomination as stated by the Creator of all that exists.

 

When the Leftist legislators cite all these Leftist organization that embrace the fundamental transformation of America, they don’t include the kind of people that were in charge of their reports and findings. Here are some details they conveniently left out:

“Reparative therapy,” “conversion therapy,” and “sexual orientation change efforts” (SOCE) are terms used to describe any efforts to redirect homosexual tendencies toward heterosexual behavior. These processes are strongly opposed by organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association and other counseling groups. The opposition to SOCE approaches is based on three assumptions these groups make. (1) Homosexuality is today considered a normal variant of sexual behavior and not a mental illness. California bill would criminalize the sale of Bibles and material considered to be offensive to the homosexual community.

 

A pro-LGBTQ bill is quickly making its way through the California state assembly after it was approved on the floor Thursday. The bill now goes to the state Senate for a vote.

 

If passed, Assembly Bill 2943 could ultimately threaten free speech and freedom of religion for Christians.

 

It uses the state’s consumer fraud statute to restrict religious freedom and free speech when it comes to issues of homosexuality and gender identity.

 

This means the bill would make it illegal to distribute resources, sell books, offer counseling services, or direct someone to a biblically based model for getting help with gender confusion and homosexuality.

 

Randy Thomasson with SaveCalifornia.com says the bill is very broad and could affect just about anything helping people overcome same-sex desires.

 

“So, this is a pastor speaking, you pay a ticket to hear him speak. He speaks about overcoming same-sex desires. Hey, that could be outlawed. A church sells a book about overcoming same-sex desires. There’s a sale, there’s a transaction, that could be banned,” Thomasson said.

 

“This is very expansive, very tyrannical and absolutely squashing free speech, religious freedom and basic choice of people. This is an anti-freedom, anti-American bill,” Thomasson told CBN News.

 

Essentially, churches and Christian schools that share biblical teaching on the subject would be open to a lawsuit.

 

CBN News asked Thomasson if this bill could eventually lead to a ban on Bibles or even books from other faiths like the Koran.

 

“Well, you could see this law going into effect. A church bookstore selling the Bible, of course, selling a book about marriage or sexual purity or overcoming homosexuality or overcoming trans-sexuality. You could see a member of the public or even a member of the state government coming and saying, ‘Hey, that’s illegal,’” Thomasson answered.

 

“Even the Muslim community should be against this, too, because of what is said about sexual perversity in the Koran,” Thomasson also said.

 

If AB 2943 clears California’s Senate and is signed into law, it would negatively impact Christian counselors, bookstores, church conferences, as well as medical and health professionals.

 

The bill also seeks to ban biblically based counseling for those wanting to get help.

 

It comes six years after California deemed it illegal for minors to receive counseling for same-sex attraction, even if they and their parents wanted help. Now, this bill would also address adults.

 

“AB 2943 would start by saying, ok, nobody can get counseling to overcome same-sex desires… ok, so no help for adult children, adults who were molested as kids and now they are adults and they say I want help to overcome these feelings. No help for you,” Thomasson explained.

 

The bill states that “contemporary science recognizes that being lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender is part of the natural spectrum of human identity and is not a disease, disorder, or illness.”

 

Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, told CBN News that what makes this bill especially dangerous is that California often leads the charge in pushing the LGBTQ legislative agenda.

 

California was one of the first states to ban “conversion therapy” for minors. Shortly afterward, Oregon, New Jersey, and Vermont passed similar laws.

 

“People have the right to seek the counsel of their choice, but this bill substitutes the government for personal choice. The implications are staggering, and the result is harmful,” Staver said in a statement to CBN News. – source

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC – SEE ALSO HERE) is taking the lead in the legal defense of the lesbian Janet Jenkins against former lesbian turned Christian Lisa Miller. Jenkins and Miller were once lesbian lovers that had united in a civil union in the State of Vermont where same-sex Marriage is recognized.

 

During the civil union Lisa Miller had a child that has no biological connection to Janet Jenkins. Sometime after the birth of Miller’s child, she became a Christian redeemed by the Blood of Jesus from past sins, which included homosexuality:

 

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

 

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

After becoming a Christian Lisa Miller no longer desired to live in sin with Janet Jenkins in a lesbian relationship. Even though Jenkins had no biological connection to Miller’s child Jenkins demanded visitation rights. In the mean time Lisa Miller moved to the State of Virginia which thankfully still does not recognize same-sex marriages.

 

Jenkins used the vile favoritism of Vermont law on civil unions filing for and winning visitation rights to Lisa Miller’s child. In the course of this Janet Jenkins decided to bath nude with Miller’s female daughter brainwashing the child about the so-called validity of having two mommies.

 

The brainwashing incident correctly horrified Lisa Miller. Due to the law giving more credence to the rights of godless lesbians over the rights of Christians, Lisa Miller fled the USA with her child.

 

AND this is where the Liberty Counsel and Mat Staver enter the picture. Janet Jenkins has named the Liberty Counsel and Staver in the aiding and abetting of Lisa Miller fleeing the Country to escaping lesbian-favoring laws.

 

Jenkins has acquired the legal resources of the SPLC to sue the Liberty Counsel and Mat Staver out of existence as defenders of the faith of Christian in the United States of America.

 

Below is an email from Mat Staver appealing for legal funds to combat the SPLC objective. Following the email, I am cross posting a 6/6/17 (also dated as 6/5) article explaining some of the details I have just gone over.

Yesterday, we filed our 116-page “Memorandum Of Law” and other legal documents countering the outrageous lawsuit against both Liberty Counsel and me personally which has been joined by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

This is one of the most important filings our team has made because of what is at stake and the vile nature of our adversaries’ accusations.

+ + Proof the SPLC wants to destroy us…

The SPLC is a dangerous, multi-hundred million dollar organization that specifically lists Liberty Counsel as a “hate group” on its website. And the SPLC is serving as Lead Counsel in this outrageous case.

Clearly, the SPLC has specifically targeted Liberty Counsel. They want to use this case to publicize their dangerous agenda. Ultimately, they want to destroy us – both Liberty Counsel and me personally. This isn’t my opinion. These are the words of the SPLC’s Mark Potok:

 

“Sometimes the press will describe us as monitoring hate crimes and so on. I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, to completely destroy them…”

 

I simply will not allow that to happen. Not with so many people of faith across the country relying on Liberty Counsel to defend them against attacks by LGBTQ activists and other radicals.

Our work on yesterday’s legal filings consumed many weeks and many hundreds of hours from our legal team. But this battle has just begun.

With the SPLC serving as Lead Counsel against us, this likely will be one of the most intense battles we have yet faced. The SPLC has at its disposal a substantial team of litigators committed to their mission of targeting and destroying those who dare to challenge the radical LGBTQ agenda.

Simply put, as we enter the next round of this critical battle to “Save Liberty,” I’m once again turning to you for help.

Liberty Counsel Responds to SPLC Lawsuit

BURLINGTON, VT — Today, Liberty Counsel filed a comprehensive response in federal court to the lawsuit backed by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) in the case of Jenkins v. Miller, et al. The legal Memorandum of Law is 116 pages, not counting affidavits. Liberty Counsel also filed a second Motion and Memorandum of Law raising Vermont’s anti-SLAPP, which prevents suits designed to restrict free speech.

 

While living in Virginia, Lisa Miller and Janet Jenkins entered into a Vermont same-sex civil union.  Lisa gave birth to her biological child, Isabella. For a brief period, they moved to Vermont. There Lisa became a Christian and left the lesbian relationship. Lisa moved back to Virginia and a visitation battle ensued between the laws of Vermont (which recognized the civil union) and Virginia (which did not). Liberty Counsel represented Lisa from late 2004 until she disappeared in September 2009.

 

A Vermont state court judge granted Janet visitation of Lisa’s biological child, even though she was not the biological or adoptive parent and Vermont precedent did not recognize such parental rights. Isabella knew very little about Janet as she was a baby at the time of the split. Lisa complied with the visitation orders, but she raised concerns to the Vermont judge which he never addressed. Lisa presented evidence that Janet read Heather Has Two Mommies to Isabella and told her she was her mommy. Janet bathed naked with her, which greatly upset young Isabella. Lisa advised the court that Isabella was having emotional problems over the visitation. She began wetting her bed, clinging to Lisa, and even tried to harm herself. The case became a nationally watched legal battle because it was the first case in the country pitting the opposing laws on same-sex civil unions of two different states.

 

While the litigation and appeals were still proceeding in September 2009, Lisa stopped communicating. She did not respond to emails and her voicemail filled up. The last communication from Lisa was about a week prior to her disappearance in which she stated she was interviewing for a job in Virginia. Without any warning or hint of her plan to disappear, Lisa ceased all communication. We advised the Vermont court we had lost contact with Lisa and requested to withdraw, but the Vermont court denied the request. The withdrawal was later effectuated in 2010.

 

During the Obama administration, a federal prosecutor filed criminal charges against two Mennonite ministers associated with a Mennonite community in Nicaragua, both of them with the last name of Miller (Ken and Timothy), but with no relationship to Lisa. A third person in Northern Virginia was also charged. All three have been convicted of helping Lisa flee the country. The criminal investigation is complete and at least one of the criminal defendants is on appeal. Lisa had no prior association with the Mennonites.

 

Janet Jenkins, the former lesbian partner of Lisa, filed a civil complaint in a Vermont federal court in 2012, claiming the alleged defendants participated in helping Lisa flee. The 2012 lawsuit did not name Liberty Counsel, Rena Lindevaldsen or Mat Staver. Lindevaldsen worked on the Lisa Miller case with Liberty Counsel.

 

In late 2016, Jenkins moved to amend her lawsuit to include Liberty Counsel, Lindevaldsen and Staver. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) then joined the suit as the lead counsel for Jenkins.

 

The SPLC is a dangerous group because it creates a “Hate Map” listing “hate groups.” Mark Potock, with the SPLC, in an interview admitted: “Our criteria for a ‘hate group,’ first of all, have nothing to do with criminality, or violence, or any kind of guess we’re making about ‘this group could be dangerous.’ It’s strictly ideological.”

 

This false labeling has serious consequences. After the founder of Chick-fil-A said he believed marriage is between a man and a woman, Floyd Corkins went online to the SPLC Hate Map, entered the Family Research Council’s (FRC) office in Washington, D.C. fully-armed and carrying Chick-fil-A sandwiches. He intended to commit mass murder and rub the sandwiches in the faces of the dead bodies. Fortunately, the security guard wrestled Corkins to the ground. However, he was shot in the process. Corkins later confessed to the FBI that he sought to kill as many people at FRC after reading about the group on the SPLC Hate Map. Corkins is now in prison, but the SPLC refuses to take down its false and dangerous statements.

 

Mark Potok is on video in a public meeting stating: “Sometimes the press will describe us as monitoring hate crimes and so on. I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, to completely destroy them…”

 

During the Obama administration, the SPLC frequently visited the White House. The SPLC even peddled its false ideological propaganda for some in the military until their extremism and false reporting got the group removed.

 

The Philanthropy Roundtable recently published an article about the SPLC pointing out the false labeling. The SPLC even labeled famed surgeon Dr. Ben Carson as a “hater.” The SPLC rakes in millions of dollars each year and has huge financial reserves, causing some to wonder what nonprofit work the SPLC does.

 

The Motions and Memoranda of Law to Dismiss the suit against Liberty Counsel, Staver and Lindevaldsen dismantle the Jenkin’s lawsuit, which has the sole purpose of harassing and “destroying” Liberty Counsel, Staver and Lindevaldsen. First, Jenkin’s complaint admits that Liberty Counsel, Staver and Lindevaldsen have always maintained they had no knowledge of Lisa’s plan to flee and had no part in her disappearance. Indeed, Lisa was always counseled to obey the court orders. The litigation was still in progress. Without any hint of her plan, Lisa disappeared with Isabella. Second, there are too many legal arguments to list here, but the Memoranda of Law demolishes the baseless complaint.

 

“The lawsuit by Janet Jenkins, with the backing of the Southern Poverty Law Center, is designed solely to harass and destroy,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. “In the nearly eight years since Lisa Miller disappeared, and with the intense investigation conducted on this case by the federal government and Janet Jenkins, there is not one shred of evidence that points to Liberty Counsel, Rena Lindevaldsen or me. But the facts and the law are irrelevant to Janet Jenkins and the SPLC. The SPLC’s motivation for joining this suit is to publicize their dangerous agenda. Ultimately, they want to destroy us. But that will not happen. The truth, a word the SPLC does not like, shall prevail,” said Staver.

 

Jenkins and the SPLC will have to respond to the legal arguments, and at some point, the federal court will make its ruling.

Trump Ready to Sign Religious Freedom Order on National Day of Prayer

President Trump reportedly will sign a controversial religious liberty executive order Thursday, just before he and conservative leaders celebrate the National Day of Prayer.

 

Citing senior administration officials, Politico reports that Trump has invited conservative speakers to the White House, where he will sign the executive order.

 

The draft seeks to provide exemptions for religious people and organizations who object to same-sex marriage, premarital sex, abortion, contraception and trans identity.

 

“The language is very, very strong,” one conservative source told Politico.

 

Liberty Counsel founder and chairman Mat Staver says it’s essential to restore religious freedom protections at this time after years of attacks from President Obama.

 

In a commentary in The Orlando Sentinel, Staver argues that religious rights were undermined by Obamacare and numerous Obama appointees, like Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chairman Chai Feldblum.

 

“When asked about ‘sexual liberty’ (the LGBT agenda) and religious liberty, Feldblum said, ‘Sexual liberty should win in most cases. …(I)n almost all cases sexual liberty should win.’ She could not think of any instance in which religious liberty should win,” Staver points out.

 

Feldblum is still in office.

 

When it comes to Obamacare, Staver cites instances like the Hobby Lobby case and Little Sisters of the Poor, in which pro-life Americans were being forced to violate their religious beliefs on abortion.

 

“Obamacare spawned an unprecedented number of lawsuits over religious liberty. Most of the litigation is still ongoing. President Trump now has the opportunity, through executive order, to reverse course and rein in the federal government’s assault on religious freedom,” Staver writes.

 

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is already revving up for a court battle against the expected order from Trump.

 

The ACLU says if he signs an executive order “that attempts to provide a license to discriminate against women or LGBT people, we will see him in court.”

The SPLC filed the original complaints against Chief Justice Moore with the Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC). Then, in a brazen move, the JIC hired John Carroll, a former Legal Director of the SPLC to prosecute its politically motivated charges against Chief Justice Moore. Utterly outrageous! Carroll has been very vocal in his critique of Justice Moore and the Alabama Supreme Court.

 

Liberty Counsel’s legal team is doing everything in our power to see that Chief Justice Moore is restored to his rightful elected position.

The modern commonality of historians discount the practice (or lack thereof) of morality in a civilization for how it thrives or fails. Nearly all religions subscribe to defined morals for their adherents to guide their lives ethically. (That includes the religion I disparage the most – Islam) Historians first like to look at physical factors that lead to a civilization’s demise; e.g. economic circumstances pertaining to feeding the people, military conquest from a variant civilization, mass immigration of a variant civilization, changing climate or environmental circumstances affecting modes of living and so on. I contend the dilution of a civilization’s morals corrupt social mores leading to selfish feel good activity over the common good that unifies the people of a civilization.
 
Normalizing selfishness above communal unifiers will lead to an increase of violence which corrodes the ability to maintain a just rule of law. Religious faith that promotes a standard of ethics designed as a foundation for mutual good interactions in a society defines the lines of good and wrong actions. Religions with morality that condemn actions that cause social strife are religions that promote a thriving civilization. If the religion itself promotes a morality with a harsh retribution and too difficult for the adherents to subscribe, then groups of people will naturally begin to gravitate toward a religion or ethical philosophy that maintains a moral foundation that embraces a common mutual inner fulfillment.
 
Human nature is an imperfect persona. It is in a human’s nature to do that which feels good even if it harms others or self. When the standard of moral ethics imposes restrictions that a civilization has a common acceptance of then self-destructive tendencies are easier to be restrained and the exercise of a self-discipline moves one to choices that result not only in an inner fulfillment but also leads to social interaction that benefits a civilization rather than fracturing it.
 
I am an adherent of the Christian faith that believes in the primacy of Sola Scriptura. The Latin phrase Sola Scriptura essentially portrays the meaning that the Scriptures in the Bible is the foundation for matters of faith and doctrine in Christianity. Not all devoted Christians subscribe to Sola Scriptura as the essence of primacy of relaying faith and doctrine to Believers. Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox and many Roman Episcopate type of Protestant Churches (e.g. Anglican-Episcopalian, Methodists, Lutherans etc. – A better Latin phrase for the authority of the Bible is Prima Scriptura implying the primacy of Scripture with the influence of reason and/or tradition) place tradition and reason over the primacy of the Scriptures.
 
The Latin phrase Prima Scriptura or Scripture Above All, is a bit misleading in application. ‘Prima’ indicates primacy and primacy indicates the sense of first among other authoritative options. In the case of the Bible it means Scripture is primary but it is interpreted through the eyes of human reason and human tradition. Hence there is a theological liberty to dilute the interpretation of Scripture to render the original intent of God Almighty to fit the reasoning of human reasoning. This relegates the Scripture into a state of evolution rather than the Eternal Divine Word of God. Meanings are changed to benefit the Progressive desires to transform civilization to human designs.
 
Progressives, Liberals, Leftist or whatever appellation that can be referred to as a mindset dedicated making humanism the primary principle of thought above that of the Creator. Those dedicated to humanism are well intentioned but are deceived or even self-deceived into thinking humanity is the beginning of sentience and the ending of creating a utopia for the greater good of humanity. Such a utopia will never find fruition because it is rebellion against the molder of the clay – the Creator – God Almighty. Does the clay destroy its Creator? It is impossible! That which is molded can be destroyed or remade depending on the designs of the Creator.
 
Thank God the Creator loves the human clay not to scrap it but rather to develop a loving being that willingly chooses obedient Sonship (okay with a hat tip to the ladies) and obedient Daughtership to the Creator spirit, soul and body of humanity. Satan is a lying rebel and was kicked out of Heaven for deceiving himself he could replace the Creator. I believe God used this unholy rebel with the design to separate the bad clay from the good clay of humanity. Adam and Eve’s fall by giving allegiance to Satan and hence turning God’s lease given to humanity to the ownership of Satan. The Earth and humanity became corrupted. Thank God the Father had a better plan than the Deceiver’s plan to replace God. God gave a Promise that the Seed of Woman would produce a Savior that would crush Satan’s head.
 
13 And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
 
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent:
 
“Because you have done this,
You are cursed more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you shall go,
And you shall eat dust
All the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3: 13-15 NKJV)
 
The “your seed” with a small “s” refers to the descendants of Adam having his fallen nature. The “her Seed” with the capital “S” refers to Jesus in Mary’s womb not their by human but by the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit of God the Father.
 
Note that Jesus was a fetus at one time. Did existing as a fetus in the womb of Mary make Jesus a mere body part like an appendix, a heart, a liver, a bone and so on? In the days Mary, Joseph and Jesus walked the earth the Jewish Law interpretation of the Pentateuch did not look too kindly on an impregnated woman outside of holy wedlock. A Pregnancy outside of wedlock logically implied fornication, adultery or rape. Jewish Law demanded stoning for fornication and adultery. The penalty for rape depends if the woman is married or unmarried. Raping a married woman calls for the death of the rapist. Raping an unmarried woman the victim has a choice of forcing the rapist into marriage and either case the rapist must pay the father 50 shekels of silver (Source – WOMEN AND THE LAW OF MOSES: Laws Concerning the Violation of Marriage, Seduction and Rape (Deut. 22:22-30; Exod. 22:16); Christian Leadership  Center). Mary was not raped. The implications then were fornication or adultery. Not a pretty picture for Mary and the unborn fetus of Jesus in her womb.
 
God operated in miracles and alerted Joseph to the actions he should take pertaining to Mary and unborn Jesus. That action was NOT abortion.
 
In every way an unborn fetus has a God-breathed life awaiting the time to choose between Life in God or eternal separation from God in choosing Satan’s dominion. Choosing Life is always a witting decision. Sadly choosing eternal separation from God in more cases than not an unwitting choice based on believing the deceptive system of this world age controlled by Satan.
 
The act of abortion is an act of murder. Sanitizing abortion as expelling a lifeless fetus body part of a female is a deception of Satan to destroy the seed of Fallen Man before birth and growth allows the choice to become one with the Seed of woman which is Christ Jesus the Lord, the Savior and the Son of God.
 
Abortion is just symptom of moral failure that leads to the demise of a civilization. You can throw in the lifestyle choices described in Romans 1:
 
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,[a] for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”[b]
 
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
 
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
 
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
 
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality,[c] wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving,[d] unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1: 16-32 NKJV)
 
Abortion and many of these vices have become sins that are separating humanity from God’s Deliverance via the Blood of Christ that transfers the unredeemed into the Redemption of the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. If you are one Delivered from the bondage of Satan’s grasp you have an opportunity to be active to share this Good News that Jesus has come to offer Salvation from Satan age of woe, sickness and depravity.
 
DO NOT CHOOSE an activism that operates in an un-Christ-like manner. It is un-Christ-like to use violence in the name of the Savior to force compliance through fear. For fear is a weapon of Satan incorporating an antichrist spirit using ungodly means to mistakenly think you are operating for the good of God.
 
AND YET rolling over to become a rug to be trampled upon is not a Godly choice either. As a people we can defend ourselves from ungodly people by using the instruments God makes available. In a nation of laws the Redeemed must use the law as the unredeemed will attempt to subvert the law. Only when a government becomes oppressively corrupt should armed violence be taken up. And prayer must be used to find Godly leaders to be anointed to dispense laws in a Godly manner not in an ungodly manner.
 
In America we still have the Liberty of laws to fight wicked agendas. There are many leaders that seek the wisdom of God. One such leader is Mat Staver utilizing the instruments of American laws to fight the people who endeavor to use American law to corrupt of the morals of American people. Turning the tables on Roe v. Wade

God, the creator of the universe, created each of us in the womb.

Liberty Counsel affirms that life begins at conception. Preborn children are in fact children, not merely fetuses, and their lives should be protected from the moment of conception.

Yet in America today, many babies are being murdered in the womb because on January 22, 1973, the United States Supreme Court held that the 14th Amendment somehow suggests a woman’s “right” to have an abortion.

My update today is a call to protect the right to life of all Americans, both those who have been born and those who have yet to be born – Mat.

 
 Without the right to life, no other right has any consequence.

Yet each day in America, with the legal covering of the body of law that is anchored in the infamous Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision of 1973, over a thousand women will choose to deny the right to life to their preborn children.
 

In our lamentably callous and morally deficient society, many will do so unceremoniously, without grief, or without even suffering a sense of loss.

According to LifeNews, in the 41 years since the Supreme Court ruled in favor of abortion in Roe v. Wade, over 55 million abortions have destroyed the lives of unborn children.

For far too many American women, abortion has simply become a type of “birth control.”  Planned Parenthood and other aggressive pro-abortion forces have successfully reengineered many Americans’ thoughts about the taking of pre-born human lives.
 

Further, liberal “progressives” and the morally void media have demonized pro-life people and organizations, claiming pro-moral Americans are somehow waging a “war on women.”

On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan declared January 22, 1984, as “National Human Life Day.” In doing so, he issued a proclamation which read, in part:
 

“The first of the ‘unalienable rights’ affirmed by our Declaration of Independence is the right to life itself, a right the Declaration states has been endowed by our Creator on all human beings—whether young or old, weak or strong, healthy or handicapped”

We strongly agree with President Reagan’s proclamation and its role in promoting the annual March for Life each January 22.  Advancing the sanctity of human life is one of Liberty Counsel’s core missions.

Every year on January 22, in the March for Life, opponents of abortion march up Constitution Avenue to the Supreme Court Building in Washington, D.C.  Around 250,000 people have typically attended the march until 2010. Estimates put both the 2011 and 2012 attendances at about 400,000 each, and the 2013 March for Life drew an estimated 650,000 people.

As national polls show a steadily increasing majority of Americans opposing the Roe v. Wade decision and the so-called “right” to abortion it codified, the number marching in the annual event increases.  Even following Tuesday’s snow event in the nation’s capital, there will be a massive number of concerned Americans celebrating the right to life in the 2014 March for Life.

o   We testified before the House Judiciary Committee hearing on “Mismanagement at the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice” (DOJ) regarding the DOJ’s politically motivated lawsuits against innocent pro-lifers.
 
o   We filed a lawsuit against the City of West Palm Beach, Florida, on behalf of two pro-life women who faced charges under a vague city ordinance for speaking to women outside an abortion facility.
 
o   We protected preborn children after an abortion clinic was closed in Orlando, Florida.  Liberty Counsel called on Orlando officials to investigate the clinic after representing a mother and deceased child who suffered brutal “care” at the facility.
 
o   We requested that the U.S. Senate pass the Unborn Child Protection Act, which prevents abortion twenty weeks after fertilization.

Obama’s Disgust for Christianity Observed in NDAA

Militant atheists and Americans that believe themselves to be Christians yet demand that Christianity be removed from the Public Realm are degrading American Culture. The Founding Fathers – even those devoted to Deism – acknowledged Christianity or at the very least Christian principles, to be the center of beneficial laws under a government.

 

I received an email from Mathew Staver of the Liberty Counsel pertaining to a militant atheist that is a Christian-Hater in particular. Stave informs that atheist Mikey Weinstein is a huge influence on President Barack Hussein Obama. What a surprise, right?

 

There is some bipartisan agreement to add an amendment to the next National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which will allow members of the Military the Religious Freedom of expression that all civilian Americans enjoy under the First Amendment (OR DO WE?).

 

Guess who is strongly opposing this Religious Freedom Amendment as part of the NDAA? If you read my posts you have probably made the correct guess that President Barack Hussein Obama is resisting the Religious Freedom Amendment to the NDAA. According Mat Staver it is Mikey Weinstein that is exerting advice on how to resist Religious Liberty in the United States Military. However, there is a history of Obama Administration extricating Religious Freedom out of our Military. Ted Starnes has an article in Townhall.com entitled, “Groups Say Religious Liberty in Military is in Danger”.

 

Starnes writes about the Religious Freedom Amendment, Obama’s opposition to it, lists a short list of Anti-Christian rules imposed on Servicemen and the twelve Groups (including Liberty Counsel) that are engaging with Congress to make sure Religious Freedom is available in the Military.

The amendment was authored by Rep. John Fleming, R-La. It would have “required the Armed Forces to accommodate ‘actions and speech’ reflecting the conscience, moral, principles or religious beliefs of the member.”

If Leftists, Democrats and Separation Church-State secularists don’t see this as a war on Christianity they either lying or are ignorant. Now that I think of it probably both lying and ignorant.

 

This is crazy and unconstitutional. Activist Living Constitution Judges and Justices have brought America to this point in which Christianity is slowly being stripped out of the fabric of America. Christian Morality is what has made America great and exceptional. Without Christianity ceases to be exceptional.

 

Atheists and Democrats believe they have hit the nail on the head when they propagandize that the majority of the Founding Fathers were not Christians because they were Deists – minions of the Enlightenment that did not regard the supernatural of any religion let alone Christianity.

 

The haters of Christianity fail to inform that Deists in America differed from Deists in Europe and France in particular. French Deists were as close to being atheists without denying the existence of religion completely. American Deists contrarily and in the majority had a high regard for the principle inherent in Christianity that contributed societal morality and civil order.

I should include George Washington and the other signers of the Constitution sent to be ratified by the States that eventually created the United States of America; however Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Hamilton and Jay were influential in the establishment and early interpretation of the Constitution. Jefferson was actually away representing the Articles of Confederation government as Ambassador to France and had no actual hand in what was in the Constitution other than his friendship with James Madison. The point though is this: The Constitutional Framers regardless of their affinity to Christianity either as a traditional Believer or as a Deist asserted that Christianity was essential to the formation of the USA and Christianity would be basis of virtuous and moral foundation for Society and government.

Mikey Weinstein is also responsible for publishing some of the most vile and abusive rhetoric used against American Christians, particularly those serving in the military. He has access to the Pentagon and is shaping President Obama’s anti-religion policy there.

Don’t let the bogus name Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) fool you. What Mikey Weinstein wants is freedom FROM religion, particularly in the United States military. 

 

I don’t need to characterize Weinstein to you. Instead, his own words tell you everything you need to know about this dangerous anti-Christian activist.  

 

In response to the Religious Liberties Amendment being appended to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) – a measure Liberty Counsel is strongly supporting – Weinstein said this on his MRFF website…

Weinstein is outspokenly against any Christian influence whatsoever on our military.  One recent MRFF headline reads, “‘Drones for Christ’: The Horrifying Prospects of Merging Church & State in the U.S. Military,” and the body of the article demonizes Liberty University’s cutting-edge aviation programs….

 

“Liberty bills itself as ‘one of America’s top military-friendly schools.’ It trains chaplains for the various branches of the military. And it trains pilots in its School of Aeronautics (SOA) – pilots who go up in planes and drone pilots who sit behind desks wearing pilot suits… Liberty has been turning out ‘Christ-centered aviators’ for a decade… [This] starkly illustrates the immense gravity of MRFF’s mission.”

 

The MRFF mission is clear:  To demean and belittle people of faith while promoting a religion-free military and destroying the First Amendment rights of our servicemen and women.

It’s clear he is a vicious anti-Christian blowhard, but just how influential is Mikey Weinstein? 

 

According to the Huffington post, in a recent demonstration of his personal power, Weinstein called the Pentagon and demanded that the Air Force remove a painting from one of their offices entitled “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”  He gave them one hour to comply and in 56 minutes the painting was gone.

 

In 2012, Weinstein was declared one of the “100 Most Influential People in U.S. Defense” by Defense News. Weinstein also won the “Person of the Year” award from Americans United for Separation of Church and State in 2011.

 

++Weinstein’s mission is now Barack Obama’s mission.

 

Mikey Weinsten’s influence in the administration’s military policy making is one of the major reasons why the Religious Liberties Amendment must be passed in the Senate!

I received an email from Liberty Counsel Action authored by Mat Staver asking that his readers demand greater scrutiny pertaining to the details of Benghazigate and who knew what about the before, during and after of the four deaths that occurred at the diplomatic mission in Benghazi Libya.

 

Staver points to the questions being asked by Frank Gaffney, Jr. of the Center for Security Policy (CSP). The questions are pointed and are simple to answer for a government that has nothing to hide.

 

There is more to this email than Staver providing the relevant questions that deserve an answer. Staver provides a link in which you can place your name to a Liberty Counsel Action fax which will cost you some bucks to send. Personally I don’t have the cash to do that but I would if I did so think about it.

 

If you are like me there is a petition you can participate in that is free at TheTeaParty.net. Without placing my name on there more than once like a Leftist would do I cannot remember if there is first a money option then a free option relating to the petition calling Congress to take action on Benghazigate. While Congress is in a “constituency work period” away from Washington, there is an uprising of organizations calling for our congressional leaders to start asking the right questions on Benghazi. 

 

Congress must create a Select Committee to FULLY investigate the Benghazi attacks – moving beyond the already obtained evidence that the Obama administration lied to the American people and sought to cover up the truth about the attack that killed four Americans and injured many more.

 

The truth about the events leading up to, during, and following the attacks must also be exposed. Please see my very important message below – Mat.

What were President Obama and his administration hiding while attempting to deceive the American people about the attacks on Benghazi?

 

It is unrealistic to believe that the edited talking points were contrived solely to protect the political careers of the President, Hillary Clinton, General Petraeus, or State Department bureaucrats. 

 

Now, over 8 months later, there are still far more questions than answers. This is an epic foreign policy and national security failure – masked with an obvious cover-up and unbridled deception.

 

Yet even more disturbing is the fact that those lies may have been created to conceal something much larger and far more sinister. 

 

++One highly respected policy expert’s view on Benghazi.

 

Frank J. Gaffney Jr., former Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Reagan and now President of the Center for Security Policy, is one of the foremost experts on foreign policy in the Middle East.

 

Frank Gaffney and his organization have been good friends of Liberty Counsel Action and have collaborated with us on several important issues over the last several years.  But we have never before been faced with anything in the troubling presidency of Barack Obama as massively significant as the Benghazi scandal.

 

Gaffney poses very disturbing questions about Benghazi-gate.  These questions could seem tainted by “conspiracy theory” thinking, but coming from a seasoned, credentialed defense expert of Frank Gaffney’s caliber, they add great credence to the probability that this is one of the most insidious cover-ups in American history.

 

Here are just a few of his questions and assessments…

 

o   “What role did the Obama administration’s assiduous cultivation of relations with Islamists play in the creation of the State Department’s so-called special mission facility in Benghazi?

 

o   What was the true purpose of that facility, and who was assigned to staff it, with what roles?

 

o   Why did it take so long for Benghazi survivors to be made available to congressional investigators of the Benghazi-gate affair?

 

o   What caused U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens to consider it necessary to be at that facility, which he had formally complained was dangerously insecure, especially on September 11, a day that al Qaeda has long sought to make open-season on Americans?

 

o   Specifically, what was the urgency of Stevens’ last official act, an evening meeting with the Turkish consul general?

 

o   Were the special mission facility and the nearby CIA annex involved in a covert operation to collect small arms, surface-to-air missiles, or other weapons?

 

o   Were any of those weapons being secretly made available — directly or indirectly — to the Syrian opposition, a group known to include al Qaeda elements?

 

o   If weapons secured in Libya for this purpose were transferred to the so-called Syrian rebels, was there a presidential finding authorizing such activities? In that case, had any congressional leaders been duly notified?

 

o   The public record suggests that Mr. Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton were inexplicably disengaged from the time they learned of the attack until their joint appearance the next morning in the Rose Garden. Where were they during that period and what were they doing?

 

The Center for Security Policy, like liberty Counsel Action, is calling for a Select Committee to be established by Congress – as are 153 House Republicans, Members of the Senate, the families of the Americans murdered, the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, Special OPS OPSEC, an association of retired Special Operations officials, along with a number of other patriotic organizations.  

 

We are demanding action from congressional leadership! A Select Committee must be empowered to ask all of the right questions – the events leading up to the attack – the actions taken during – and the post-event deception of the American people.

There are at least four House committees investigating the attacks – all operating within the scope of their limited authority. We are demanding a Select Committee with the needed authority!

 

I believe Benghazi-gate will blow wide open in spite of the Obama/Clinton wish that it would just go away – if Congress investigates it with the full empowerment of a Select Committee.
