Abu Mazen on Trump’s Deal of the Century

For those of you who might only have a cursory knowledge of Islamic Terrorism aimed at Israel, the Abu Mazen in the title is the same person as Mahmoud Abbas. The “Abbas” name is the one used most often by the American Press.

Ari Bussel has been supportive of President Trump actions toward Israel in the past (e.g. moving U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem: HERE & HERE), but here – if I am understanding correctly – Ari is not pleased with Trump’s Deal of the Century, not pleased with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s cooperation with the Deal AND highlights Mahmoud Abbas speaking threats if any action is taken to enact The Deal of the Century.

On a personal level I have not read the Deal so I am not surprised by the Faux-Palestinian vitriol who seek to deny the existence of a Jewish State. BUT from Ari’s tone the Deal must be too conciliatory toward Arabs pretending to be Palestinians. I trust Ari. So I am now going to have to locate some Deal of the Century details for future reference.

Abu Mazen on Trump’s Deal of the Century

By Ari Bussel
Sent 1/30/2020 2:53 PM

Dear Friends,

The Deal of the Century was announced this week by US President Donald J Trump.  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jewish donor Sheldon (& Dr. Miriam) Adelson were among those cheering onsite.  The President also met with MK and former Chief of Staff Benny Gantz who currently is the forerunner to lead the country after the upcoming elections on March 2nd, 2020.

The responses were quick to arrive, and we can divide them into categories:  Organizations who have to comment about anything and everything (e.g. the Reform Movement or the Zionist Organization of America); organizations who are focused on Israel (e.g. CAMERA or Arab America); and those who derive a direct benefit, some type of personal gain.  Although many in these categories employ top thinkers and analysts, allow us to ignore them all and focus on one and only one reaction.

Abu Mazen expressed what the entire Palestinian tribal collection wants to hear and what it believes:

“Jerusalem is not for sale, and all our rights are neither for sale nor for compromise.  This scheme will not succeed!”

Compare the reaction on the Palestinian side and that on the Jewish side.  The Palestinian position is Simple.  Concise.  Clear.  Unwavering.  Full of Conviction.  And now check the Israeli and Jewish side that has been entrusted with an undivided Jerusalem, the City where God resides among His people.  We are weak.  Ready to compromise.  Debate.  Give up.  Divide.  A sure recipe for destruction and fall; exactly what took place some two thousand years ago when the Second Temple was destroyed.

Not only do the Palestinians confuse sick-imagination with reality-transposed, they are not even sure who they are.  For a people that cannot even pronounce its own name (the letter “p”) or realize the root of the word is invaders to a land-not-theirs, they so crave to make their dream of a county void of Jews a reality, that anyone who is not Jewish must therefore be a Palestinian.  Jesus apparently was a Palestinian.  He is still “standing” at the checkpoints designed to prevent terrorists from passing.  Israeli citizens who happen to be Muslim are Palestinians (previously they were 1967 Arabs and before that 1948 Arabs, then 1947 Arabs and now pure “Palestinians”).  So are members of the Israeli Knesset, who spew hatred toward Israel and against the Israel Defense Forces from the podium at the parliament.  Full Israeli citizens call themselves “Palestinians,” but they will not give up their Israeli passports or all the benefits to which they are entitled as Israeli citizens.

There is supposedly a talk about some “border,” but the Palestinian have only one border in their mind:  The entire country, from the River to the Sea, is theirs!  No Jews allowed!  Al Quds (Jerusalem) is their eternal capital, has always been; will always be.  It is not up for dividing, sharing or bargaining.  And all the millions of eternal refugees are waiting to go back to their homes throughout the country.  In short:  No Israel.  No Jews.  Viva Palestine!

To this theater comes the Most Crazy American President in an announcement:  “I have the Deal of the Century!”  Is he the clown during intermission?  He is definitely not entertaining.  Does he think that the Palestinians can be bought like Putin, China or North Korea?  He simply does not understand with whom he is dealing; who really stands in front of him.  He is a most useful puppet in the hands of his Jewish Handlers.  Look, there is the Adelson couple opening their purse and pulling the strings.  What has the President not done for them already!  All will be reversed as the first order of action as soon as the new President is sworn in and replaces this travesty in announcing to DJT:  “YOU ARE FIRED!”

The Deal of the Century is weak because it has exposed what is important for the Jews and their puppets, including sovereignty and control over the West Bank, no Right of Return of the Palestinians, Jerusalem remaining under Israeli control and end of BDS and claims in international bodies such as the International Criminal Court.  Even Gantz (who ran on a platform “Just Not Bibi (Netanyahu)”) is supporting this plan.  All that the Deal has done is to show where Israel really hurts, both what subjects and what effective tools are currently working effectively against her.  In short, the Deal has emboldened the enemies of Israel that their struggle is working.

A President under Impeachment.  A Prime Minister who has been Indicted.  A main puppeteer, a filthy-wealthy Jew who controls the scene.  And a Circus like no other.  How good that people of conscience, including so many Jewish Americans and so many leading Israelis stand united against this evil plan!

To all lovers and protectors of Israel:  Israel’s enemies do not want peace.  They aspire death and destruction; a place clean of Jews.  They have no plan for the day after, for they only want the death of the Jewish body.  This is what cancer is all about, and any doctor who will prescribe the following course of treatment will likely lose his license:

“Listen Cancer, you may not even be able to pronounce your own name and likely you do not even know from where you came, but we propose the following to you:  Restrict yourself to the ovaries, stop dreaming on the liver, the lungs and the brain.  We will then let you thrive in the ovaries.  Grow and expand.  Go from strength to strength.  We love and respect you.  We will feed you and take care of you.  We will continue adoring you.  We realize you want the entire body, and that you have no plan for the day after.  (The day after, you are dead.)  We (the world) really, really like you.  We admire your convictions.  We stand with you regarding your aspirations and efforts.  Give them all up.  stay in the ovaries.”

Not only does the idea make no sense whatsoever, why would someone feeling strength, ever-growing strength, restrict oneself from taking, devouring, enjoying and destroying more and more?  The cancer has metastasized to the liver and the stomach and the lungs and the brain.  So why stop?  Because an American President decided to say so?  Even notable Israelis and many American Jews have succumbed to the cancer and have declared “Viva Palestine!  End the Occupation!  Free, free Palestine!  A country of all its people!”

Those who love Israel awake!  Not only the timing, but the mere idea of a Deal right now is contrary to basic business practices (which the President understands).  One does not negotiate from an inferior position of weakness, and both Israel and the USA are weak.

We must learn from the Palestinians.  They speak clearly.  They are unified.  They know exactly what they want, and this is everything.  And they  have the courage to stand by their convictions.

“Jerusalem is not for sale, and all our rights are neither for sale nor for compromise.  This scheme will not succeed!”

Always,

Ari Bussel

For those who want to expand, you are invited to continue reading:

The Deal of the Century was not a secret.  There was access to it on the White House website in the weeks leading to the announcement.  For very many months, it was mentioned in every opportunity.  The timing of the celebratory announcement is questionable, for the President is trying to ignore the Impeachment proceedings in the US Senate, possibly  to deflect attention, while in Israel nothing can be done permanently binding by a temporary government.  Netanyahu’s government is twice temporary, after he forced the country to go into an election following which neither he nor his opponent was able to form a government.  A second election was called with practically the same result, and now the country faces a third election in less than a year.  Without a proper budget, nothing operates as usual, and with a country under the iron grip of the judiciary and advisors who grab power, even appointments or removal of bureaucrats translate to lengthy battles.

The US Administration is aware of what is happening in Israel, so what might be the specific reason for the release at this time?  Possibly a parting gift to Prime Minister Netanyahu before his defeat and removal?  Alas, this is not a reason for policy that is shaping a new Middle East.

As much as everyone likes to think Israel is the center of the universe, Israel is a tiny country with nine million people.  It is the home of the Jewish people – all 14 to 15 million of us around the world – and the only country we can call our home.  By any stretch of the imagination, Israel is tiny.  In China, the center of outbreak of the current Corona Virus is much larger than Israel, both in size and in population.  But the world continues to focus only on Israel, as if it is the source of energy for the entire universe.

The powers in the Middle East are impressive:  A Turk who wants to become a Sultan over a re-emerging Ottoman Empire.  Iran whose tentacles are pressing the Mediterranean on both sides, from its southern and northern shores.  A KGB Uber-Oligarch who is meddling in Syria and wants to establish his country’s dominance in the region.  A Kingdom that is always on a threat of collapsing.  The persecuted Christians, who are raped, murdered, kidnapped, sold for slavery (sexual and labor) and burned alive in their churches throughout the region and the continent of Africa, and the world stands silent.  And then, there are the Palestinians.

The Palestinians invented a nationhood and borrowed the craving of the Jews to return to their homeland.  They are a very special breed.  Their brethren in the Arab world view them as inferior.   They never wanted anything to do with them.  It is a class structure, where the Iranians view themselves as superior to all, and the Arabs view the Palestinians as inferior.  Indeed, who are the Palestinians?  Their forefathers emigrated to Palestine when the Zionists from Europe came and turned a desolate area into a blooming oasis.  They (the Zionists) dried the swamps, defeated the malaria that was carried by mosquitos, created new technologies (such as drip irrigation and water desalination) and made areas previously uninhabitable into thriving communities basking in greenery, a light unto the nations, a source of goodness to the world.

Israel became a miracle, and it attracted workers.  Many came from Egypt, and among them Yasir Arafat and Abu Mazen’s family, as well as the families of many of the Palestinian leadership.  The area was called “Palestine,” the Jews and their institutions were often referred to as “Palestinians” and Arab nationalism was alive and thriving.  There were Arabs and Jews, the Arabs did not want the Jews, and the superpowers who inherited and dived the Ottoman Empire kept slicing the area designated for the Jews into an ever diminishing slice of land.

After the formation of the modern State of Israel, the nascent country absorbed some 750,000 Jewish refugees expelled from Arab countries.  Those Arabs who fled Israel – under the false promise “you will get to your homes within days, after we defeat and eliminate the Jews” – were never assimilated.  They remained as garbage in the countries to where they fled momentarily.  No one wanted them; no one was interested.  But then something unique happened:  The United Nations has created a special body to treat the newly formed “Palestinians.”  They and their descendants forever, for all eternity, are called “Refugees.”  There is no need to assimilate; there is no need for anyone (their own brethren) to absorb them.  It is very big business, employing tens of thousands of UN employees, and channeling billions of Dollars to corrupt people.  Why rattle such a thriving and successful business?

For several decades the Arab nations went along with this ploy, as they realized that Israel cannot be defeated militarily, despite all odds stacked against the nascent Jewish state.  Something bigger is protecting Israel (and it is NOT the United States of America).  1956.  1967.  1973.  Nothing helped.  The Jews survive and thrived.  To the Arabs, right in their corner were the Palestinians, a disposable, no-cost commodity that could be utilized to harm Israel.  Thus, for instance, Gaza remained as it is – an open wound – where Israel left it and Egypt does not want it.

The refugee camps in Lebanon are a source of endless liberation fighters willing and able to sacrifice themselves.  Keep them!  And in Jordan, a full majority of the entire Kingdom is made of Palestinians creating an entire Eastern front against Israel.  [The situation in Jordan has changed since Jordan is the only country that absorbed the real Syrian Refugees, and they realize what “refugee-dom” is all about and how the Palestinians are not “refugees” by any stretch of the imagination.]

With the advance of Iran and the real threat to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries, with the Arab Spring that turned quickly in Winter and the Muslim Brotherhood stronghold on Egypt, and with the continued slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Muslims by their Muslim brethren in Syria, the Arab World has realized the utter and complete fallacy of the Palestinians and their dream to eradicate Israel, to wipe Israel off the map.

The Palestinians squander the money they receive and stash it in secret bank accounts in Switzerland and France.  The Palestinians cry foul all the time, crying and bickering.  They work with Iran.  They send their young ones to explode themselves – and soon the Arabs realized that what is effective against the Jews, is also employed against them!

And Israel?  Contrary to what the Palestinians teach their children and the hatred they spew at every opportunity, Israel does good.  Israel extends a helping hand at a time of disaster.  Israel brings new technologies about water and agriculture in the times of peace.  Commerce with Israel is bilateral.  Israel opens field hospitals for Syrian refugees and brings the wounded from Lebanon, Syria and even Gaza to her hospitals.  Israel is the only deterrent against the spread of Iran, and she is not afraid to act – at whatever time and place she sees fit.  Israel can be trusted – by friend and foe alike.  She is always true to her word.

Israel wants what every normal human being wants – to live, raise her children, thrive.  She is focused on herself, not on harming others.  She has no aspirations at expanding, colonizing or occupying.  It is not easy for Israel, for where there are two Jews, there are five opinions.  And Israel has always been a country of all generals!  They Arabs see Israel; the Arabs hear the pleas and contact demands by the Palestinians; and when the Arabs do an accounting, or simple arithmetic, they understand they want to be associated with the Israelis, not with the Palestinians.

And so there is a titanic shift, which is based on much common sense.  What would we do if faced in the same situation:  on the one hand a group that whines and brings death and mayhem, evil and bickering; on the other a group that is good for you, and good for the entire world and humanity, that does not talk much but acts, and when it acts – there are no boundaries to the love shown.

The Palestinians feel neglected, left behind.  They are angrier than ever.  Remember, the Palestinians are a business.  Their main stronghold, the United Nations, that seems to be serving them and ignoring everyone else (e.g. the really-persecuted Christians) is on shaky grounds as well.  The United States, the UN’s main financial sponsor, has woken up and is bringing common sense back to the playground.  And the European Union has finally started limiting the flow of money, as a major part of it goes to reward terrorists and their families for life – for every person murdered or injured.

And so comes The Deal of the Century.  The USA (what one commonly refers to as “America”) has a crazy President.  He dares stand up to Putin (the Democrats say he cooperates with him), to China, to North Korea.  And now he decided to tackle the Israeli-Arab Conflict.  Alas, the Conflict seems to have resolved itself – between Israel and the real Arabs.

The only thing that is left from the “Conflict” (the objective of the Arabs to “throw the Israelis to the (Mediterranean) Sea”) is Iran’s promise to “Wipe Israel Off the Map” (and this must be taken seriously; with one qualification that the only reason for Iran to do so is that Israel is the only obstacle standing in its way to control the entire region, and Europe should be concerned for Europe’s sake) and the Palestinians who do not even show Israel on their maps.

So if there is no Israeli-Arab Conflict, what is the deal to do?  Appease the so-called Palestinians?  Serve the Jewish Puppeteers of the President of the US?

Whether the Deal of the Century has been in the works for the past three years or not at all, it matters not.  Also the timing of the announcement which is most suspect is not very important.  Be the reasons what they might be, they are irrelevant.  Both the US President and the Israeli Prime Minister quickly understood it – their folly was exposed, no one treats it seriously, not even those cheering in the background.  The Prime Minister announced, even before leaving DC, “we are going to annex next Sunday,” and the Trump-Team (Administration) replied “not so quickly, let us wait until after the elections.”  So quickly the two main players realized it was an exercise of hot air, that the entire exercise became beneficial only to all those “experts” and organizations that benefit from it (on the pro-Israel or anti-Israel side).

A Peace Plan has to be achieved by two sides who want it.  And a lasting peace will continue as long as both sides really want it.  Israel has a peace treaty with Egypt and another with Jordan.  Israel could have had a peace treaty with Syria, had it not been for the Civil War there and Assad’s butchering hundreds of thousand of his own people.

Another Peace Plan that should serve as an applicable example is the one between the Allies and the Nazis.  Except, the Middle East is not there yet.  The main lesson is that one side really wanted “Peace” to bring the cessation of its utter and complete decimation, and the other side was both benevolent and smart to help the Germans rebuild.

The Palestinians live a very good life.  Visit their homes and see.  Visit their shopping centers.  Watch their tv channels.  The Palestinians need Israel.  They come to work in Israel.  They sell products to Israel.  They depend on Israel as a neighbor and partner.  And they want to eliminate her and have an area free and clean of Jews.

Instead of investing in infrastructure and institutions of civil society, they dig death tunnels, manufacture weapons of mass destruction and excel in death and mayhem.  In short, they do everything opposite logic.

In addition to glorifying homicide martyrs as deserving 72 virgins, they propagate and expand the fantasy that the Jews will be eliminated, that the Jews do not deserve to live.  They twist history, using elements they like as their own and others to their advantage.  So they tell the Jews to pack their belongings and “go back.”  They remove the archeological findings under the Temple Mount and trash them as rubbish, and then they declare the Temple Mount was really never there, the Jewish “story” of the Bible has not connection to the place.

They do excel, however, in a thousand and one Arabian nights – weaving a story like no other.  And the story resonates with people around the world.  Where a story takes hold, no deal or reality program can overcome.  The Deal of the Century has not even lived its millisecond of fame, it was an orchestration that failed, a momentary distraction.   Until Israelis  take hold of the helm, until they start fighting for their own existence and survival, no substitute (as good and well-intentioned as it might be) will succeed.  Now, let us return to real life.

PLO calls for terror against Trump’s deal: ‘Escalate the resistance and the struggle… in all its forms’

The inherent Jew-hatred is evident by Muslim Palestinians when their leaders call for violence EVEN before examining President Trump’s peace plan labeled The Deal of the Century. Not that even an examination would matter when a religion tells its adherents to hate anything refusing to bow to Islamic Supremacism.

PLO calls for terror against Trump’s deal: ‘Escalate the resistance and the struggle… in all its forms’

By Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Jan 28, 2020

Palestine Media Watch

PLO calls for terror:

“Escalate the resistance and the struggle… in all its forms and manners”

  •  Fatah: “We will redeem you with our blood, #Palestine”
  •  PA: “No” to Trump’s “deal of the century”

“#No_to_the_deal_of_the_century

In anticipation of the revelation of US President Trump’s Middle East peace plan – the so-called “deal of the century” – the PLO, the PA, and Fatah are emphasizing their rejection of the still unknown plan. They have also announced a “day of rage” on the day the plan is revealed, and called for “escalation of resistance” – a Palestinian euphemism for violence and terror.

Abbas’ Fatah Movement posted a photo of a Palestinian rock thrower in a call for violence accompanied by text implicitly encouraging Palestinians to seek death as martyrs for “Palestine”:

Posted text and text on image: “We will redeem you with our blood, #Palestine” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 26, 2020)

Similarly, the PLO urged Palestinians to “escalate the resistance and the struggle” against Israel “in all its forms and manners.” Terms like “all forms” and “all means” are ‎used by PA leaders to include the use of all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails:

“The [Palestinian] National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) again expressed its objection to every plan, project, deal, or attempt to harm the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights…  The National Council yesterday [Jan. 26, 2020] demanded that the PLO Executive Committee implement all of the National Council and [PLO] Central Council’s decisions – and foremost among them the decision determining that the transition period has ended with all of the political, security, and financial obligations in it towards the Israeli occupation – and also to take all the necessary steps to encourage and escalate the resistance and the struggle against the occupation in all its forms and manners.” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 27, 2020)

Palestinian groups also declared the day Trump announces his peace plan a “day of mass rage.” Palestinian Media Watch has documented that PA and Fatah leaders view “days of rage” as preludes to “intifadas” – campaigns of violence and terror.

The [Palestinian] National and Islamic Forces of the Ramallah and El-Bireh district have declared the date of the announcement of ‘the deal of disgrace’ as a day of mass rage in response to the American-Israeli aggression, on which the Palestinian people will say its piece in one voice: the deal will not pass, and our people is capable of thwarting it.” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 27, 2020)

The cartoon at the top above shows PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas holding his fingers up in a “V” for victory, but in place of his hand is the first word of the text: “No to the deal of the century.” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 23, 2020)

The PA presidency has also announced that “there is no discussion with the American administration, neither brief nor long,” and that its position is unwavering on “everything regarding the unacceptable deal of the century.” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 25, 2020)

Another Fatah post showed a tiny Trump facing a giant Palestinian rock thrower:

The following are additional posts against Trump’s peace plan posted by Fatah:

Text at bottom of image: “No to the deal of the century”

At the top of the poster is the Fatah logo that includes a grenade, crossed rifles, and the PA map of “Palestine” that presents all of Israel as “Palestine” together with the PA areas. Under the logo is written: “Palestinian National Liberation Movement ‘Fatah’ Mobilization and Organization Commission Information Office” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 26, 2020)

Posted text and text on image: “Thanks to our people’s determination and resolve, the deal of the century will fall” (Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 26, 2020)

The following are longer excerpts of the texts cited above:

“The [Palestinian] National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) again expressed its objection to every plan, project, deal, or attempt to harm the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights…

In a statement, the National Council yesterday [Jan. 26, 2020] demanded that the PLO Executive Committee implement all of the National Council and [PLO] Central Council’s decisions – and foremost among them the decision determining that the transition period has ended with all of the political, security, and financial obligations in it towards the Israeli occupation – and also to take all the necessary steps to encourage and escalate the resistance and the struggle against the occupation in all its forms and manners (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror). This is in order to defend our people’s permanent rights, which [US President Donald] Trump’s administration and the occupation are attempting to eliminate through what is called ‘the deal of the century’ (i.e., refers to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan, which he said he would reveal to Israeli leaders in late January 2020)…

Palestinian National and Islamic Forces – an unaffiliated coordinating body comprised of representatives from factions in the PLO and outside the PLO. The Palestinian National and Islamic Forces were established in 2000 shortly after the start of the PA terror campaign (the second Intifada, 2000-2005), under the authorization of Yasser Arafat and the leadership of terrorist Marwan Barghouti. During the PA terror campaign it played an active role in coordinating political efforts and terror attacks against Israel, but since the end of the campaign it has been less significant and its activity is primarily centered in Gaza.

Headline: “The Democratic National Coalition called to intensify the popular resistance”

The Palestinian Democratic National Coalition forces called to intensify the popular resistance (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror) in all of the Palestinian territories. The forces – which include the Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF, a terror organization and PLO member; see note below –Ed.), the Arab Liberation Front, the Palestinian Arab Front, and the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front (i.e., all PLO members) – discussed ways of intensifying the popular resistance against the settlement, after their meeting at the Popular Struggle Front’s headquarters in Ramallah…

The Democratic National Coalition forces called on the international community to pressure the extremist right-wing occupation government and [US President Donald] Trump’s administration, the occupation’s partner in its aggression against our people, to immediately stop the settlement and cease the attacks against the Palestinian national rights and sovereignty, in order to prevent pushing the region into a whirlpool of violence whose end will be bad and bitter.” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 24, 2020)

The terms “peaceful uprising/resistance,” and “popular uprising/resistance” are used by PA leaders at times to refer to peaceful protest and at times to refer to deadly terror attacks and terror waves. For example, ‎Mahmoud Abbas defined as “peaceful popular” the murderous terror during the 2015-2016 ‎terror wave (“The Knife Intifada”), in which 40 people were killed (36 Israelis, 1 Palestinian, 2 Americans and 1 Eritrean) and hundreds wounded in stabbings, shootings, and car ramming attacks. Abbas said: “We want peaceful popular uprising, and that’s what this is.” http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=16437

Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF) – A terror organization and member of the PLO. The PLF is headed by Secretary-General Wasel Abu Yusuf who is also a member of the PLO Executive Committee. The PLF has been responsible for numerous terror attacks, including the hijacking of an Italian cruise ship in 1985, in which one Jewish hostage in a wheelchair, Leon Klinghoffer, was shot, and then thrown overboard. The US has listed the PLF as a terror organization.

“The Palestinian [PA] presidency emphasized yesterday [Jan. 24, 2020] that there is no discussion with the American administration, neither brief nor long. This was in response to American President Donald Trump’s statements, according to which ‘his administration spoke briefly with the Palestinians and we will speak with them again.’

The presidency again emphasized through its Spokesman [and PA Deputy Prime Minister] Nabil Abu Rudeina that the Palestinian position is clear and firm in its rejection of Trump’s decisions regarding Jerusalem (refers to his recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital; see note below –Ed.) and the rest of the issues, and everything regarding the unacceptable deal of the century (i.e., refers to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan).” (Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 25, 2020)

Nabil Abu Rudeina also serves as PA Minister of Information, Fatah Commissioner of Information, Culture, and Ideology, and Fatah Central Committee member.

US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel – On Dec. 6, 2017, US President Donald Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Trump added that the final borders of Jerusalem will be determined during negotiations.

The US embassy was transferred from Tel Aviv and opened in Jerusalem on May 14, 2018, the anniversary of Israel’s declaration of independence in 1948 according to the Gregorian calendar.

About PMW

Founded in 1996, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) is a non-profit Israeli research institute known internationally for its in-depth research of Palestinian society from a broad range of perspectives. PMW’s findings are sought after by governments, legislators, media outlets, and decision-makers worldwide and have played a central role in correcting inaccurate narratives about the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

PMW’s reports on the Palestinian Authority’s promotion and glorification of terror — which include paying salaries to terrorists; naming schools, sporting events, and public spaces after terrorists; promoting terror in children’s TV programs and schoolbooks, and so much more — have fundamentally changed the way the world sees the Palestinian Authority.

PMW’s exceptional team of Arabic language researchers spends countless hours monitoring, translating, and analyzing PA-controlled newspapers, TV shows, radio programs, social media sites, and schoolbooks to understand the messages the Palestinian Authority and other Palestinian leaders send to their people.

Translated from the original Arabic source, PMW’s findings document a decades-long pattern of the Palestinian Authority’s indoctrination of READ THE REST

Mahmoud Abbas is the President of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Abbas gave a two-hour in Ramallah – located in Judea-Samaria (West Bank to Arabs and much of the globe believing Israel is illegally occupying Arab land) – in response to President Trump notifying the world the U.S. Embassy is moving from Tel Aviv to Israel’s Capital City Jerusalem.

As you can guess, Abbas was less than pleased. The speech was chock full of historical revisionism and blatant lies pertaining Israel’s homeland and the existence of the fake people known as Palestinians. Arab domination of the Jewish Homeland didn’t begin until the mid-600s AD (yup, I’m a Christian preferring Anno Domini over Common Era – C.E.).

Media Whitewashes Abbas’ Revisionism and Rejectionism

By PESACH BENSON

JANUARY 16, 2018

Honest Reporting

Mahmoud Abbas’ two-hour address to the central committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization was the diplomatic equivalent of giving the finger to Israel, the US and peace prospects.

The speech was expected to articulate the Palestinian leadership’s response to Trump’s Jerusalem declaration and threatened cuts of aid for refugees.

But given how long the talk was, it must have been a challenge for reporters to focus on sorting out the “news” from the “rambling.” Indeed, the PA president rejected US mediation, blamed Israel for the “death” of the Oslo accords, and dropped tidbits such as someone offering the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Abu Dis to become the capital of a Palestinian state. (Abbas didn’t say who made the offer.)

But there was a bigger picture that the mainstream media snoozed through. What most journalists would consider the boring, long-winded digressions were actually part of a bigger pattern of historical revisionism and rejection of any place for the Jews in the Mideast.

Sign HonestReporting’s petition to the Foreign Press Association in Israel demanding reporters and editors give a fuller picture of Palestinian rejectionism and refusal to recognize Israel’s right to exist.

The Speech

The Ramallah audience of PLO cadres, VIPs and the foreign press was regaled with Abbas’ theories of how Israel was founded — not by Jews — but by European “colonialists,” with plans going as far back as Oliver Cromwell in 1653. He accused Israel of sending drugs to Palestinian kids. He ridiculed US Ambassador Nikki Haley’s high heels.

Theodor Herzl

And Abbas fabricated a quote to claim that Theodor Herzl, the father of modern Zionism, sought to exterminate Palestinians.

“We must wipe out the Palestinians from Palestine so that Palestine will be a land without a people for a people without a land.”

Abbas also claimed among other things, that the Jews of Europe chose to remain and die at the hands of the Nazis, that Jews from Iraq and Yemen were brought to Israel against their will, and that Israel was formed as “a colonial project that has nothing to do with Judaism” to safeguard European interests.

The PA chief also hurled an epithet at President Donald Trump, saying in Arabic, Yekhreb Beitak, which means “May God destroy your home.” A Palestinian media professional explained to me that home refers not just to the physical house, but the household — its people and possessions. It’s a term used when two people are in a dispute, and although Arabs may use the term somewhat casually among themselves, it’s not a line one would use in a diplomatic setting. That would explain why the Associated Press called it a “jarring” language.

It’s not the first time Abbas twisted history for his own purposes. His doctoral thesis, written as a student in Moscow, argued that the killed “only” one million Jews, that the Zionist leaders collaborated with the Nazis, and that Jewish leaders inflated the Holocaust’s death toll to six million for their own advantage.

But the overall thrust of the speech was to erase Jewish ties to the land of Israel.

The Coverage

Too many media reports whitewashed Abbas’ coverage. Perhaps editors didn’t attach enough importance to the speech to give their correspondents a longer word count, which might account for the short, sanitized reports by ReutersBBC NewsCNN and Sky News.

Other news services touched on Abbas’ rant, but didn’t delve into the significance, such as AFPThe IndependentIrish Times and the Financial Times.

While the New York Times gave a sense of the PA chairman’s verbosity, the paper unfortunately didn’t fact-check Abbas, giving a pass to the false quote.

Mahmoud Abbas

“Testing his audience’s attention, Mr. Abbas also gave a lengthy history lecture reaching back to the 17th century, saying that Oliver Cromwell had first proposed shipping European Jews to the Holy Land, before tracing the beginning of Zionism to what he called the 19th-century journalist and activist Theodor Herzl’s efforts to “wipe out Palestinians from Palestine.”

“This is a colonial enterprise that has nothing to do with Jewishness,” Mr. Abbas said. “The Jews were used as a tool under the concept of the promised land — call it whatever you want. Everything has been made up.”

Indeed, Abbas has made everything up.

Can you imagine the headlines if an Israeli head of state denied the existence of the Palestinian people? Or fabricated quotes?

While I didn’t see any news coverage of the speech in The Guardian, an Ian Black commentary fretted over how the speech would play into the hands of right-wing Israelis. And if I didn’t know any better, I’d say the Irish Independent took Associated Press reports one and two and scrubbed them.

Credit the Daily Telegraph and Washington Post for acknowledging Abbas being Abbas and getting fresh quotes from analysts to provide some meaning.

Palestinians may see Abbas as defiantly throwing down the gauntlet while Israelis see Abbas on the verge of imploding.

If there’s going to be peace, we need the press to step up and enlighten us on what Mahmoud Abbas really stands for.

PMW open letter to the Danish Foreign Minister

BHO-Kerry prepare to stab Israel in back toon

Palestine Media Watch takes on Denmark’s Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen support for the Fatah terrorist organization the backbone for both the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority (PA) – See Also HERE. Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia on Jensen:

Kristian Jensen (born May 21, 1971) is a Danish politician who has been Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark and Deputy Prime Minister since 2015. He is a spokesperson for the Liberal party Venstre. He was the Minister for Taxation from 2004 to 2010 and has been a member of parliament (Folketinget) since March 11, 1998.[1]During his time as Tax Minister, Kristian Jensen was a keen proponent of a “tax freeze.”

Jensen was the Venstre’s spokesman on information technology and sports from 1998 to 2001 and became its spokesman on finance policy, as well as Vice-Chairman of the Financial Affairs Committee, in 2001.[1]

At the liberal party’s congress on 17 May 2009, Kristian Jensen was elected as vice president of the liberal party, without any other candidates running for the post.

If Venstre lost the 2015 election, then Kristian Jensen was considered very likely to be the next leader of the political party. Unlike the current leader of Venstre, who is rated as very untrustworthy in polls,[2] there are no controversies associated with Kristian Jensen. In the event, Venstre was able to form a minority government, with Jensen becoming Minister of Foreign Affairs on 28 June 2015. (last modified on 13 February 2016, at 09:25.)

Kristian Jensen

Denmark’s Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen believes the Palestinian Authority is a Moderate representative of the Palestinians residing in Israel’s hereditary area of Judea and Samaria (Palestinian supporters prefer West Bank or Occupied Territories) rather than permeated with Islamic Jew-hating terrorists. Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) sets him straight.

PMW open letter to the Danish Foreign Minister:

Fatah promotes terror

Sent by Palestine Media Watch

Sent: Mar 29, 2016 10:17:43

PMW SPECIAL REPORT

Bulletin

March 29, 2016

By Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Open letter to the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs:

Fatah promotes terror

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) calls on Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs to reassess Denmark’s relationship to Fatah due to Fatah’s ongoing terror support

  • Responding to Palestinian Media Watch documentation, Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Kristian Jensen admitted he “opposes” a Fatah official’s terror glorification. However, the minister continues to view Fatah as “moderate” because the official, he believes, did not speak “on behalf of Fatah, the PLO, the Palestinian Authority or the Palestinian government.” [Danish Ministry of Forein (sic) Affairs, Jan. 22, 2016]

  • This PMW report corrects the Danish minister’s mistake. It documents that numerous senior Fatah leaders, Abbas’ advisors, Mahmoud Abbas himself, the Fatah Central Committee headed by Mahmoud Abbas, and official Fatah media are all actively supporting and glorifying the current terror. Neither Fatah, nor any of its leaders, have condemned even one murder of an Israeli during the last 5 months of terror. To the contrary, they have glorified the terror and the terrorists.

  • PMW welcomes the statement by the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs indicating that were Fatah, its leaders and the PA glorifying terror, Denmark would “reassess” its categorization of Fatah as “moderate.”

The following is an excerpt from the report that Palestinian Media Watch

sent to the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs on March 20, 2016

Click here to read the full report as a PDF

PART 1

  1. Letter from Palestinian Media Watch

to Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark Kristian Jensen

Dear Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark Kristian Jensen,
This letter and report is in response to your recent answer to Question S507 asked by MP Søren Espersen in Danish Parliament regarding statements published by PMW made by Abbas Zaki, a member of the Palestinian Fatah Central Committee, in which he glorified terror against Israelis, stating that “Allah loves our young people with rocks and knives.” You described Zaki’s words as “a sad example of inflammatory rhetoric” that you “oppose,” adding, however, that you would not reassess whether Fatah remains a “moderate” partner for Denmark because Zaki is:

“A Fatah member residing in Lebanon, who is not considered to have spoken on behalf of Fatah, the PLO, the Palestinian Authority or the Palestinian government… The statement does not give the government any reason to reconsider the assessment of Fatah and the movement’s leader, President Abbas.” [Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jan. 22, 2016, the question and answer appear at the end of the report]

However, this report shows that your refusal to “reconsider the assessment” of Fatah as “moderate” is based on wrong information. Not only does Zaki reside in the PA, but more importantly, Fatah has not been a moderating voice during this current terror campaign. On the contrary, Fatah and its senior leadership are actively promoting terror against Israelis, including the unequivocal glorification of those who have killed and injured Israelis in terror attacks.

Accordingly, PMW welcomes your statement implying that Denmark would “reassess” and take action if senior Fatah officials, the PLO, or the PA were shown to engage in hate speech, encourage terror attacks, and glorify terrorists. This document shows that a reassessement by the Danish government is warranted.

  1. Documentation of Fatah actively promoting terror – in brief

The following are brief examples of Fatah actively promoting terror (additional and detailed documentation appears later in the report):

Jibril Rajoub, Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee promotes terror

Jibril Rajoub is Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee. He is also Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association, and Chairman of the Palestinian Olympic Committee. Several times, Rajoub has endorsed and praised the terror attacks against Israelis and lauded the terrorists carrying them out:

Dep. Sec Fatah-terrorism are acts of Bravery

Dep. Sec Fatah-terrorism are acts of Bravery

Jibril Rajoub: “These are individual acts of bravery, and I am proud of them. I congratulate everyone who carried them out. I say to you, we are proud of you… Whoever confronts, fights, dies as a Martyr, is arrested or injured – his identity is known. What I mean is that the fighter, the prisoner, or the Martyr, they are assets to the entire Palestinian people… The international community does not agree to a bus exploding in Tel Aviv. But the international community does not ask what happens to a settler or soldier in the occupied territories at the wrong time and in the wrong place. No one asks about him! Therefore, we want to fight in such a way that the world and the international community will remain by our side.” [Official PA TV, Oct. 17, 2015]

Dep. Sec Fatah-Terrorists are heroes

Dep. Sec Fatah-Terrorists are heroes

Jibril Rajoub: “Yesterday in Hebron, they escorted 17 Martyrs to burial. This is of course a source of pride for all of us. I say that whoever carried out individual acts of heroism, we in the Fatah movement bless and encourage them. We consider them heroes and a crown on the head of every Palestinian. At this point, when there is weakening and frustration, there is a group of people, beginning with our brother Muhannad Halabi (i.e., terrorist who murdered 2) and ending with the last Martyr… There is a competition between individuals. This is one of the issues we need to address – are we for or against it? I say that we in the [Fatah] Central Committee have discussed this matter, and we are in favor.” [Official PA TV, Jan. 2, 2016]

Fatah Central Committee promotes and endorses terror

Very significantly, in the above statement about attacks carried out by individuals, Rajoub expressed the Fatah Central Committee’s support for the terror when he stated that “we in the [Fatah] Central Committee have discussed this matter, and we are in favor.”

It must be stressed that the Fatah Central Committee is Fatah’s governing body and headed by Mahmoud Abbas.
Official Fatah TV promotes murder

Official Fatah TV broadcast a music video calling for murder of Israelis: “Besiege them in all their neighborhoods, Drown them in a sea of blood, Kill them as you wish”

Pal Media- Drown Jews in Sea of Blood

Pal Media- Drown Jews in Sea of Blood

Fatah’s official Facebook page and Twitter account promote terror

Fatah’s official Facebook page and Twitter account have been a central part of this terror campaign, glorifying the terror almost daily. From the outset, Fatah has been glorifying murder using numerous posts, including the following examples which visually express Fatah’s explicit promotion of stabbing murders:

Fatah has also glorified several murderers on its Facebook page, among them Muhannad Halabi who stabbed 2 to death in the Old City of Jerusalem, Nashat Melhem who shot and killed 3 in Tel Aviv, and Bashar Masalha who killed 1 in Tel Aviv-Jaffa:

Fatah brought soil from the Al-Aqsa Mosque to the grave of terrorist Muhannad Halabi, who murdered two in the Old City of Jerusalem “so that the dead body of Martyr Muhannad Halabi can hug the soil for which he died a Martyr.” [Fatah Twitter account, Oct. 8, 2015]

Fatah glorified Tel Aviv murderer of 3: “Congratulations and may Allah receive you in Heaven”

Abbas’ Fatah movement posted an uncensored version of the picture of dead terrorist Nashat Melhem lying in a pool of blood. It also praised the killer of 3 as a “Martyr” and congratulated him on its official Facebook page. Nashat Melhem was a 29-year-old Israeli Arab terrorist who carried out a shooting attack, killing 3 Israelis and wounding 8 others in Tel Aviv on Jan. 1, 2016:

Fatah honored murderer who killed 1 and injured 11 in an attack in Tel Aviv-Jaffa

Fatah’s official Facebook page posted a drawing of a knife held over the PA map of “Palestine” that includes all of Israel and the PA areas, with the name of the murderer written on it.

Official Fatah anniversary celebrations in Bethlehem promote terror

Another example of Fatah showing itself as a terror promoting organization was seen in January this year, when Fatah held a march in Bethlehem to mark its 51st anniversary. To celebrate, Fatah had children parade in the streets of Bethlehem wearing suicide belts and carrying knives, guns and RPGs, alongside Fatah flags. Fatah Central Committee members promote and glorify terror

As was shown above, in the words of Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub, the Fatah Central Committee is “in favor” of “attacks by individuals” against Israelis. The following are statements by three members of the Central Committee corroborating this Fatah support for terror. (More statements by these and additional members of the Central Committee appear later in the report.)

Sultan Abu Al-Einein, Fatah Central Committee member and advisor to Mahmoud Abbas, promotes terror

One Fatah Central Committee member who also serves as an advisor to Mahmoud Abbas, Sultan Abu Al-Einein, likewise promotes terror. Abu Al-Einein blessed the terrorists from the current terror campaign, saying: “We bow before every drop of blood that has dripped from our children and women… and every… Martyr’s mother, who… when they notified her of his death as a Martyr, she let cries of joy loose to the Heavens.” [Falestinona, website of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, Jan. 16, 2016] Abu Al-Einein also glorified a terrorist who killed 1 and wounded 11 as “Martyr”: “We loved you, while you sowed life for all Palestinians” [Sultan Abu Al-Einein’s Facebook page, Oct. 19, 2015] He has openly declared his total support for the terror campaign, saying that he “supports, with all his might, the uprising and intifada… aimed at defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque” from “defilement” and “Judaization.” [Falestinona, Oct. 14, 2015]

Abbas Zaki, Fatah Central Committee member and advisor to Mahmoud Abbas, promotes terror

Abbas Zaki is a member of the Fatah Central Committee. He is close to Mahmoud Abbas and has travelled internationally as Abbas’ personal emissary. Zaki stated that the murderers of four Israelis are “giants and leaders” and went on to say that “whoever succeeded in killing, this is a big thing.” He added that such a terrorist should have “an institution named after him, and a statue [made] of him.”

Succeed in killing is big thing

Whoever succeeded in killing [Jews], this is a big thing

[Official PA TV, Oct. 31, 2015]

Mahmoud Al-Aloul – member of Fatah Central Committee and Commissioner for Mobilization and Organization encourages terror

Fatah official Al-Aloul encouraged Palestinian youth to “make the country a hell for the enemies”

Shortly after the murders of 4 Israeli civilians in two separate attacks on Oct. 1 and 3, 2015, Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul addressed Palestinian youth on his Facebook page, encouraging them to “rise up against the enemies”:

Mahmoud Al-Aloul:  “#Resist_boycott_rise up (literally “make intifada”)

More resistance and escalation against the occupation everywhere. Let us make the country a hell for the enemies… all the members of the Shabiba (i.e., Fatah youth and student movement) are potential Martyrs for the beloved Palestine.”

[Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul’s Facebook page, Oct. 5, 2015]

Al-Aloul called to “continue attacks” against Israelis

In another post, Al-Aloul stated that “whoever loves the Shahada (Martyrdom death) is not afraid of the settler herds.” He ended with the following words of encouragement: “and #let’s_continue_the_attacks.” [Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul’s Facebook page, Oct. 5, 2015]

Fatah glorifies and honors the terrorists of the current terror campaign

Fatah leader sponsors sporting event after murderer of two

As an unequivocal expression of support for murder, Fatah continues to honor and glorify the killers of the current terror campaign. For example, Jibril Rajoub, Central Committee member mentioned above, who is also Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the PA Olympic Committee, sponsored a table tennis tournament, named after murderer Muhannad Halabi, who murdered two people and stabbed a woman and her baby in October 2015. Rajoub mentioned Halabi by name when he described the “heroes” who constitute “a crown on the head of every Palestinian.” [Official PA TV, Jan. 2, 2016]

table tennis tournament, named after murderer Muhannad Halabi

table tennis tournament, named after murderer Muhannad Halabi

Mahmoud Abbas denies murdering Israelis is wrong. Terror campaign is a “popular peaceful uprising”

Finally, Abbas himself has not been a moderating influence. Abbas has not condemned even one terror attack during this entire violent period, and worse still, he has justified these attacks by claiming they were part of a “popular peaceful uprising”: “We want peaceful popular uprising, and that’s what this is. That’s what this is.” [Official PA TV, Nov. 16, 2015] Abbas made this statement after Palestinians had carried out 65 stabbing attacks, 8 shooting attacks, and 8 car ramming attacks, in which a total of 14 Israelis were murdered and 167 were wounded.

Not even when US Vice President Joe Biden urged Abbas to condemn a terror attack in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, where a Palestinian stabbed a US citizen to death and injured 11 Israelis, did Abbas comply. He “offered condolences,” but never condemned the attack. [The Jerusalem Post, March 10, 2016]

Abbas’ frequent referral to all the terror attacks as part of the Palestinian “peaceful” or “nonviolent” “uprising” may have been what has led the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs and other international spectators to wrongly conclude that Abbas is against the current wave of terror attacks against Israelis.

PLO leader: Murdering Israeli civilians is “national duty”

A statement which expresses the Fatah and PLO leaders’ attitude towards the current terror campaign was made by PLO Executive Committee member Mahmoud Ismail, who defined the killing of Israelis as a “national duty.” In a conversation about the murder of a young Israeli couple, which took place while their 4 children watched from the back seat of the car, Ismail said the following: “There is no need to return to the argument and dispute about who carried out the operation (i.e., the killing)… There is no need to announce it and boast of having done it. One fulfills his national duty voluntarily, as best as one can.” [Official PA TV, Oct. 6, 2015]

One fulfills his national duty voluntarily - Killing Jews

One fulfills his national duty voluntarily, as best as one can

This attitude is representative of the PA’s and Fatah’s approach throughout this terror campaign. The Fatah leadership has not condemned the terror, but has presented it as patriotic and a legitimate part of the Palestinian “struggle” and “resistance.” Killing soldiers or civilians anywhere is presented as a “national duty.”

Fatah proud of its leading role in the current terror campaign

Finally, Fatah is proud of its leading role in the current terror campaign. Several Fatah leaders have specifically mentioned Fatah’s central role in the terror campaign.

Fayez Abu Aita, Fatah Spokesman, stated that Mahmoud Abbas is leading the “blessed popular uprising”:

Fatah Spokesman Fayez Abu Aita… emphasized in a press statement published by the [Fatah] Information and Culture Commission today [Jan. 7, 2016]… that it is necessary to take into account the difficult and sensitive situation our people is experiencing, as it fights the battle for independence and an [independent] state, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, through the blessed popular uprising and the unlimited political confrontation with the occupation in the UN corridors and the International Criminal Court.'” [WAFA (the official Palestinian news agency), Jan. 7, 2016]

Amal Hamad, Fatah Central Committee member:

“I say that if one has a responsible national feeling, on is supposed to thank Fatah for its resolve, and for its ability to say ‘No!’ to the Americans, ‘No!’ to the occupation, ‘No!’ to all regional, Arab and international pressures… We are still leading the popular uprising, with true resistance, 80 percent of the Martyrs (Shahids) are Fatah people. If so, the movement is deeply rooted…” [Official PA TV, March 1, 2016]

Jamal Muhaisen, Fatah Central Committee member, Commissioner for Diaspora Branches and PLO Central Council member:

“They [Hamas] talk about resistance. What is happening today? Today there is a struggle on two fronts. There is the struggle in the field, by the popular resistance, and I say that 90 percent of the Martyrs (Shahids) are from Fatah. I say to Abu Marzouq (a senior member of Hamas -Ed.) that 90 percent of the Martyrs are from Fatah, and I would like Hamas to be present in the popular uprising in the field, matching its size. Hamas’ presence does not match its size.” [Official PA TV, Feb. 14, 2016]

Abbas Zaki, Fatah Central Committee member and Commissioner of Arab and China Relations:

The Fatah movement draws its strength from its people, and noted that its fingerprints are clearly evident in the popular Palestinian uprising… Fatah is carrying the flag of victory, through the national measures and that the fact that it is currently leading the mass uprising is the best proof of this.” [Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 30, 2015]

  1. Summary and conclusions

In summary, it is imperative that this hate speech, violence promotion and terror glorification be condemned – by you, the Danish government, and other members of the international community who wish to see peace in the Middle East. Denmark and other supporters of the PA have a unique position as financial donors to the PA to demand that the PA, including Fatah as the ruling party in government, honors the commitments it has made in the past: to stop incitement and to renounce terror. The PA’s donors have tremendous potential influence to demand a change in the messages and policies that PA and Fatah leaders transmit to Palestinians.

When Rajoub, the Deputy-Secretary of Fatah’s Central Committee, which is headed by Mahmoud Abbas, refers to the the [sic] murder of Israelis as “individual acts of heroism” and publicly says on official Palestinian Authority TV that the Fatah Central Committee supports them, it must not be ignored by the international community.

In your answer to MP Søren Espersen, you indicated that if “Fatah, the PLO, the PA, or the Palestinian government” were actively supporting the terror campaign, the Danish government would reassess its attitude toward them.

The documentation in this letter and report shows that the Danish government must “reconsider its assessment” of Fatah, the PA, and Mahmoud Abbas, and take the necessary steps when dealing with a political governmental body that openly supports terror as Fatah does.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Remarks to the Saban Forum

Ari Bussel sent the transcript of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address about Islamic terrorism using the San Bernardino Massacre as a starting point then proceeding to the growth of Islamic terrorism that has plagued Israel from its modern inception in 1948 to the present. PM Netanyahu takes note that the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians have had plenty opportunities to (steal) appropriate Jewish land to create an independent Arab state but have failed to accept the existence of a Jewish State on their ancestral homeland.

The Bussel email included a link to the 14 minute Youtube version of the Prime Minister’s address to the Saban Forum.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Remarks to the Saban Forum

By Benjamin Netanyahu

December 6, 2015

Israel Government Press Office

The Prime Minister’s Office

Greetings from Jerusalem.

I want to thank my friend Haim for giving me the opportunity to address you. This comes at a time when the United States has experienced a terrible and savage attack in San Bernardino, and I wish to offer the condolences of the people of Israel to the families, the aggrieved families, and of course send our wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded.

The terrorists are attacking in California or in Israel, or for that matter in Paris. They are attacking the very values that we hold dear – freedom, tolerance, diversity. All the things that define the value of life and society in our eyes, they find anathema and that’s why they attack us. I think too that this is what makes us strong. They think that we are hedonistic and weak; we’re actually very strong societies, very resilient, because of the very values that they despise so much.

And these values are what makes the bond between Israel and the United States, the American people and the people of Israel, so strong. It’s that identity of values, those very values that are under such fierce attack today. I think nobody should underestimate the resilience and power of our societies. Nobody should underestimate the United States. It was, it remains and will be the leader of the world precisely because it is so rooted in the values that make societies great.

And these are the same values by which we live, and that’s why nobody should underestimate Israel, and nobody should underestimate the strength of our alliance. It’s strong and it will be even stronger in years to come. And I appreciate the President’s willingness to forge a new agreement between Israel and the United States, a ten-year MoU to strengthen Israeli-American cooperation and strengthen Israel’s security with American support. I think everybody in Israel appreciates that, beginning with me.

We face today two challenges that I’d like to briefly discuss with you. One is a global challenge of the battle of militant Islamic terrorism that plagues not only the Middle East, but increasingly Europe and the United States and Asia, everywhere – Africa. And the second is the specific problem of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which I’d like to address.

On the global front, I have to say that many used to say that the core of the conflicts in the Middle East, and from there the rest of the world, were rooted in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. That was never true, but it’s now demonstrably false. And what we see is the old order established after the Ottoman Empire collapsing and militant Islam, either of the Shiites, Shiite hue led by Iran, or the Sunni hue, led by ISIS, rushing in to fill the void. Now those two forces are clashing with each other because each wants to be the king of the Islamist hill. They hope to first establish in the Middle East and after that in their mad designs throughout the rest of the world, but it nonetheless is a battle of militant Islam against other Muslims and against everyone else.

That is clearly demonstrated in the case of ISIS, that doesn’t mince its words, and is disguised by Iran, that has equal ambitions. The danger that we face is augmented when militant Islam gets a sovereign state, because a state gives them money, in oil revenues in particular for either one, and it gives them the power to develop weapons or acquire weapons – chemical weapons in the case of ISIS and other sophisticated weapons – and of course the quest for nuclear weapons or submarines or satellites and sundry other rockets and precision-guided missiles in the case of Iran.

These battles, these forces are battling each other now over the soil of Syria, and our position has been – my position has been not to intervene because an ISIS-dominated Syria is bad and a Iran-dominated Syria is bad. I think that our policy has been therefore not to try to strengthen one at the expense of the other, but weaken both. But in any case, my policy has been non-intervention with two exceptions. The first is humanitarian. We were among the first countries to offer humanitarian aid to Syria. We established a field hospital right next to the border of, our border in the Golan and have taken in thousands of Syrians who’ve come in, astounded. They were always taught that Israel and Israelis were devils and now they were healing angels. And the second thing that I’ve decided to do is to make it clear that Israel will not tolerate the use of Syrian territory for passing lethal weapons to Hezbollah, to open up a warfront against us in Lebanon, or to use Syrian territory for attacks against us or to enable Iran to build a second terror or military front against us from the Golan or anywhere else in Syria.

These are clear principles which we uphold. I’ve expressed also to President Putin of Russia that these are principles that we’ll continue to uphold and that it makes sense that Russia and Israel have deconfliction. We’ve done that, just as the United States has done that, but it’s very important for me to stress that Israeli policy will continue along the lines that I’ve just outlined.

If I look at the world overall, the core of the conflicts in the Middle East, that is the battle between early medievalism and modernity, is the battle that is being waged now around the world. And the advanced countries in the world, the civilized countries of the world, have to make common cause to contain and ultimately defeat militant Islam. Deep down, human beings want to have freedom and I think that desire and the technology of freedom, the spread of information, will ultimately defeat militant Islam, just as it defeated another murderous ideology bent on world domination: Nazism.

In the case of Nazism, it took down about 60 million people and a third of our own people before it went down, and this cannot allow to happen again. I think it won’t happen again: one, because we have the historical antecedents; and two, because we have the State of Israel, as far as the Jewish people are concerned. We will not allow any one of these violent medievalist forces to threaten our country and threaten our people.

Insofar as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is concerned, I think there is another misunderstanding. People have long said that the core of this conflict is the acquisition of territories by Israel in the 1967 War. That’s an issue that needs to be addressed in any peace process, as is the question of settlements, but it’s not the core of the conflict. In Gaza, nothing changed. In fact, instead of getting peace, we gave territory and got 15,000 rockets on our heads. We took out all the settlements; we disinterred people from their graves; and did we get peace? No. We got the worst terror possible.

I think that happened earlier too, when we left Lebanon and people said, “Well, if you leave Lebanon, then Hezbollah will make peace with you.” And in fact, we got 15,000 rockets from there too. And so people are naturally saying, look, if we want a solution vis-à-vis the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria, in the West Bank, how can we ensure that this doesn’t happen again? Well, in order for us to ensure that it doesn’t happen again, we have to address the root cause of the problem. Why has this conflict not been resolved for a hundred years? Why has it not been resolved after successive Israeli prime ministers, six in fact after the Oslo Agreement, have offered to make peace, have offered the Palestinians the possibility of building a state next to Israel – it’s because the Palestinians have not yet been willing to cross that conceptual bridge, that emotional bridge, of giving up the dream not of a state next to Israel, but a state instead of Israel.

And that’s why they persistently refuse – not only Hamas in Gaza, but the PA – they consistently refuse to accept that in a final peace settlement, they will recognize the Jewish state, they will recognize a nation-state for the Jewish people. They ask that we recognize a nation-state for the Palestinian people, but refuse to accord that same right to us. I have said and I continue to say it, that ultimately the only workable solution is not a unitary state, but a demilitarized Palestinian state that recognizes the Jewish state. That’s the solution. But the Palestinians have to recognize the Jewish state and they persistently refuse to do so. They refuse to recognize a nation-state for the Jewish people in any boundary. That was and remains the core of the conflict. Not this or that gesture or the absence of this or that gesture, but the inability or unwillingness of the Palestinian leadership to make the leap.

You got a hint of that the other day when Abu Mazen spoke about the “occupation of Palestinian lands for the last 67 years”. Did you hear that? Occupation of Palestinian lands? For the last 67 years? Sixty-seven years ago was 1948. That’s when the State of Israel was established. Does Abu Mazen mean that Tel Aviv is occupied Palestinian territory? Of Haifa? Or Beer Sheba? He refuses to fess up to his people and say it’s over, from their point of view what they say are the borders they wish, the final borders they wish. They refuse to recognize that they will have no more claim on the territory of the Jewish state, that they will not try in any way to flood it with the descendants of refugees. After all, we in Israel took in an equal and even larger number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands.

I mention this point about mutual national recognition because it is so fundamental, and like the mantra that was raised time and time and time again, that the core of the conflict, always in the singular, the conflict in the Middle East was the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, that has turned out to be even childish and irrelevant. The same thing I am saying will happen with the argument about the core of the conflict being the settlements or the territories. They’re an issue to be resolved, but they are not the core of the conflict.

And I think it’s important if we’re ever going to resolve this issue is to demand from the Palestinian leadership to recognize the Jewish state. We’ll still have many, many issues to resolve, but it begins with the recognition of the right of the Jewish people to have a state of their own. This is the fundament of peace and the absence of this recognition is the real obstacle.

I don’t lose hope. You can’t be a leader of the Jewish people and not have hope because we’ve overcome so many travails in the last thousands of years and in the last hundred years. We have clawed our way back to a sovereign existence. We built a remarkable state. It’s a world leader in technology, in agriculture, in irrigation, in cyber, in medicine – in so many areas. And we’ve made peace with two countries: Jordan and Egypt. And as the picture that I described about the threat of militant Islam to Arab and Muslim society emerges, we are making inroads and a lot of contacts with Arab countries – a lot of contacts that are not Arab countries as well: the leading countries of Asia, China, India, Japan; dozens of African countries; countries in Latin America. And it’s heartening. It’s heartening to see how Israel is being received and how people are changing their view of Israel as they change their view of the essential conflict between medievalism and modernity that is now spreading throughout the entire world.

But I know, with all the openness that we have with dozens and dozens of countries, including in our own region, I still know that we have no better friend than the United States. This is a partnership of solid values. It’s the deepest partnership there is. I value it across the partisan divide – Democrats, Republicans, Independents – we cherish your support. We value it and we believe that this partnership between Israel and the United States of America is the axis around which many other partnerships can be built in our region and beyond for the betterment of all humanity.

Thank you.

The Knockout

In America Conservatives warn how the Left Wing Obama transformation is turning the USA into a pariah among allies and destroying America’s culture with unconstitutional executive actions plugging a Leftist utopianism. Counterjihad writers warn of how Islam is NOT conducive to the development of Western culture, indeed Islam’s very nature is antithetical to Western Heritage and to the U.S. Constitution.

Stabbing Jews is “a symphony of love for Jerusalem:”

Ari Bussel writes about how Israel’s complacency to Islamic terrorism and Arab lies from those calling themselves Palestinians is slowly destroying the Jewish State from within. The Left/Right similarities between the two allies – USA and Israel – is quite stunning. The only real difference between the USA’s and Israel’s political situations is that Israel’s situation is existential. If America’s Left maintains its transformation agenda I have no doubt the Home of the Free and the Land of the Brave will face an existential threat.

The Knockout

Israel, Yes, You Can

By Ari Bussel

Sent: 10/18/2015 3:02 PM

For the past two weeks, I stood witness to what was taking place in Israel. It started outside the walls of Jerusalem, and very quickly crept right inside. From there, it spread throughout the country.

Young men and women, some in their teens, answered the call of their president who falsely claimed that the Jews were defiling the Al Aqsa mosque with their filthy feet.

“We will not allow them to enter, and we will do everything in our power to protect our Jerusalem.” [Mahmoud Abbas]

Thus started the concert of bloodshed. A righteous and courageous one indeed against the Jews’ “delusional myths,” one in which stabbing Jews is “a symphony of love for our Jerusalem.”

All that one needs to do is read the Palestinian Media Watch [http://www.palwatch.org/] daily bulletin, bringing the clips and excerpts of the words of hatred in origin.

Abbas thus unleashed wave after wave of terrorists, and against them stood at ready a most sophisticated propaganda machine. One terrorist blows herself up in a car filled with tanks of gas, clearly – lied the Israel haters – she was horrified due to an electric failure that she immediately turned and shouted “Allah U Akbar.”

A boy of 13 using a knife to try and murder another boy [See HERE] his age not only did nothing wrong, according to the propagandists, but was then executed by the Israelis. The fact the boy was receiving treatment in a private room at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem mattered not to these deceivers.

13 year old Islamic Terrorist Ahmad Manasra

The terrorists are all “innocent,” the Israelis are all “executioners.”

Israel had to defend herself on two fronts, happening simultaneously: terrorists attacking civilians in the streets and a most oiled propaganda machine spewing lies.

Security Cabinet member Dr. Yuval Steinitz along with the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited the foreign press to a special media briefing and two days later Prime Minister Netanyahu briefed the press corps as well. In these briefings, we were introduced to the hatred and incitement by the PA and its president, which made little impression other than the obligatory “oh, how dreadful.” The questions by the foreign press left no doubt where the wind was blowing among the members of the international press.

Some in the Israeli media were quick to criticize Netanyahu for waiting two weeks to convene such a press briefing, and others wonder to this day why Israel’s public diplomacy machine is not fighting back against the torrent of lies.

While I do not buy the attacks against Netanyahu (a favorite pastime here in Israel, thus obligatory outside of Israel), the question of why Israel is not fighting the way only she knows how to fight – i.e. to win – remains relevant. At present, she is not doing anything other than trying to restore calm to the streets, peace to her citizens.

Thus, while Netanyahu and his government were trying to wade off the onslaught of terrorists locally and attacks internationally (the Los Angeles Times along with Israel’s usual detractors were busy at work doing what they do best – selling papers blaming Israel and the Jews for the ills of the world, twisting reality so that Israel a priori is found guilty in the court of public opinion), Abbas was planning the next round.

Hamas, usually a foe of Abbas, already made promises: Anyone caught while trying to free Jerusalem of the Occupier-Jews will be released at the earliest opportunity of prisoners exchange (they are already working on kidnapping a soldier or civilians to force such an exchange). They called for armed resistance inside the Green Line and throughout Occupied Palestine and went as far as easing restrictions on Fatah militia inside Gaza, all for the common goal of attacking and defeating the Zionist enemy.

While these fronts will eventually be manageable, and in the foreseeable future other parts of the world – from Jordan to Paris and London and even Washington, D.C., New York and San Francisco – will have to turn to Israel to copy from her the lessons learned at subduing and conquering such terrorism, Abbas, the master-chess-player, is already several steps ahead.

He has prepared the ground of lies for all too long. Israel, we have been told for eight long years, is planning to topple the third holiest place for Muslims. Israel is defiling the holy mountain. Israel is fabricating a claim to the place, where in reality she has no connection whatsoever. Israel is changing the status quo and executing innocent Arabs right and left, without stop.

How can the world stand silent in view of such an egregious behavior? How can any honorable human being with even a tiny bit of compassion allow such atrocities to continue? Abbas knows how easily the world is fooled and all too anxious to turn against Israel.

The concert continues: blood spilled all over. Not the blood of the Jewish victims by Arab terrorists, but the blood of “innocent” Arabs (i.e. perpetrators of these attacks). Even the spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State joined, admonishing Israel for using “excessive force.”

The screen is so full of the flowing rivers of blood that one cannot see anything else, one cannot think of anything but Israel’s newly found pastime: Genocide!

Thus, stood the French with the utmost bravery, and declared: International Observers to Jerusalem!

Abbas, busy at work at the moment to change the Western Wall to an international heritage site of the “Palestinians,” raised his hands, the hands of a victor, and proclaimed: “Knockout!”

He is so close to declaring “Checkmate,” that one is holding one’s breath with anticipation. Just let the Israelis and the Jews remain busy at the immediate. While they are focused on putting out fires, he is ready to have the world crown Al Quds (previously known, for a shameful period of time, as Jerusalem) as the eternal capital of “Palestine.”

Long live the King. The world is crazed with hatred for the Jews, and thus will follow whatever lies it is told. No one checks the facts, uses common sense or bothers with a reality-check. It is easier to beat the Jews, for secretly, we all wish for them to be gone.

It is time for Netanyahu to convene a Kitchen Cabinet of people he can trust, those who think outside the box. People who will not follow the status quo and what Israel has been engaged in doing, but will focus instead on fighting in the one arena that is completely desolate of any Jewish or Israeli fighters: the international public diplomacy front, in the court of public opinion.

For even if Israel manages to get up from one knockout after the next, the boos and rotten tomatoes thrown at her will eventually hit. The tomatoes have already been replaced with stones, and these with knives. Eventually, Israel might be left body parts strewn everywhere, as the crowd is overjoyed beyond its wildest dreams.

In a war one must fight. And Abbas is a very sleek and sophisticated enemy. He is playing the long game, while the world simply reacts to the effects of his lies. Time to fight Abbas, and Israel—yes, you can!

Palestinian Incitement Leads to Violence Recent Examples

Muslim terrorists among the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians continue on their ungodly rampage of indiscriminate killing of Israeli-Jewish men, women, children, young and old. Yesterday Ari Bussel sent me an Israel Government Press Office update about the horrific nature of the process and joy of Palestinians in killing Jews. The update is in a PDF document and I reformatted it for this blog.

VIDEO: Abbas: We won’t allow Jews with their “filthy feet” to “defile our Al-Aqsa Mosque”

Published by palwatch

Published on Sep 17, 2015

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas: “We bless you, we bless the Murabitin (those carrying out Ribat, religious conflict/war to protect land claimed to be Islamic), we bless every drop of blood that has been spilled for Jerusalem, which is clean and pure blood, blood spilled for Allah, Allah willing. Every Martyr (Shahid) will reach Paradise, and everyone wounded will be rewarded by Allah.

The Al-Aqsa [Mosque] is ours, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is ours, and they have no right to defile them with their filthy feet. We will not allow them to, and we will do everything in our power to protect Jerusalem.”
[Official PA TV, Sept. 16, 2015]

I have posted two Ari Bussel article about murderous Arab Muslim terrorists who call themselves Palestinians and attacked and killed Rabbi Eitam and Naama Henkin with their four children in their car: “A Blood Sacrifice” and “NO PLACE IS SAFE”. Just as some added info the media that covered the incident in Israel claimed the four children were spared because the Islamic terrorists have had unfavorable responses to past vicious murdering of children along with the parents. Eitam’s brother has said in essence that is a bunch of hooey. The children were spared because one of the Hamas murderers was shot and the Muslim focus was to get out of Dodge before the police and IDF showed up.

Yagil Henkin, the brother of Eitam Henkin, who was shot and killed in last week’s terror attack near the Itamar settlement in the West Bank, spoke out Tuesday in an interview with Army Radio, describing the moment he learned of the murder of his brother and his sister-in-law, Naama. Henkin also discussed the state of the Henkin’s four children, who were present in the vehicle when terrorists murdered their parents.

Henkin’s comments came a day after the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) announced that security forces had arrested members of a Hamas cell responsible for the attack. An investigation into the attack found that the four children were likely not hurt because one of the terrorists accidentally shot one of his partners, and they were forced to flee.

“Dealing with the question of whether the terrorists took mercy on the children seemed sick to me. There is a lot of history of terror in Israel, and there are many cases in which the children are the targets of the terrorists. The attempts to credit them for the fact that they only murdered the parents and not the children – that seemed ridiculous,” he told Army Radio.

The Shin Bet announced on Monday that a Hamas terrorist cell from Nablus was behind the murder of the Henkins as they drove near Itamar with their four children.

… After the [victims’] car stopped, two members of the cell got out of their car, and fired again, from very short range, on those in the vehicle,” the Shin Bet said.

At this stage, Razak was accidentally shot, dropping his handgun at the scene. It was recovered by security forces. The cell fled to Nablus, 5 km. away. (Brother of terror victim Henkin: It’s ‘sick’ to ask if terrorists took mercy on the children; By MAARIV ONLINE; Jerusalem Post; 10/06/2015 11:12)

And from Israel National News:

The ISA cleared for publication that five Hamas terrorists responsible for the murder have been arrested.

During the course of their interrogation, one – Karam Lutfi Fathi Razek – revealed that he was accidentally shot by a fellow terrorist in the hand during the attack. The two had been shooting at either side of the car’s front row, causing their line of fire to overlap. After the accidental injury, the terrorist dropped his rifle and the five fled back to Shechem.

This mistake may have saved the Henkin children, a senior IDF official stated to Yediot Aharonot Monday night.

“Friendly fire on one member of the group presumably led to the children remaining alive,” the unnamed officer stated.

Earlier in the investigation, another security official theorized that the terrorists never saw the four children in the back of the Henkins’ vehicle. (How One Terrorist’s Mistake Spared the Henkin Children; By Tova Dvorin; Israel National News – Arutz Sheva 7; 10/5/2015, 8:42 PM / Last Update: 10/5/2015, 10:10 PM)

And The Jewish Press:

The investigation revealed that one of the terrorists shot his friend by mistake during the attack, forcing them to flee the scene hastily, which explains why they left alone the children in the back seat of the Henkins’ car. The wounded killer was picked up by security forces from his hospital bed in Shechem.

The cell members, five Hamas operatives from Shechem, were picked up one day after the attack. Several Arabs suspected of helping the cell have also been arrested. The cell was under the command of a released prisoner, a Hamas member, who provided the weapons and planned the attack but did not participate in it personally. (Investigators: Henkin Children Saved by Killers’ Friendly Fire; By JNi.Media; The Jewish Press; 10/5/15)

The fact of the matter Islam directs Muslims to be merciful ONLY if an infidel (kafir) converts to Islam. The children were spared NOT out of mercy but rather out of an inconvenient moment of terrorist friendly fire.

THE ONE THING the American press seems to have ignored (if they even reported the Islamic terrorism at all) is that the murders of the Henkin couple were inspired by Palestine Authority President (also PLO Chairman) Mahmoud Abbas disavowing the Oslo Accords road to a fake Palestinian nation and speaking Jew-hatred against Jews who wanted to express their Judaism at the Temple Mount on Sukkot. Evidently the Muslims are so heartless against Jews that refuse Jewish access to their holiest piece of land in their faith. Yeah, Muslims desecrated the Temple Mount by building two Mosques on the Jewish holy spot after conquering the area from the Byzantines – Truthful but sanitized CBN versionA more graphic History of Jihad version (also briefly held by then Zoroastrian Persians).

Islamic terrorism has been ongoing by attacking Israeli Jews in brutish cowardly fashions that only the so-called Religion of Peace can justify. How can Obama and Establishment Republicans even conceive the formation of an independent Palestinian State? These people – young and old alike – ONLY desire a sovereign land as a base to destroy Israel and kill Jews. It is time to not only get tough with the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians but ALL Muslims who support such violent acts of terrorism and war crimes. It is time for America to develop the courage to approach these barbarians still stuck in a Middle Ages mentality to face a WWII victory goal with extreme prejudice. Thanks to Iran and Russia, the seeds of the next World War have been planted. For God’s sake let’s start preparing a win strategy that means collateral damage for foolish citizens not wise enough to get out of the way.

Below is the Caroline Glick article that shines a light on the circumstances facing Israel’s existence and partially inspired these thoughts.

Column One: Abbas must be stopped

By CAROLINE B. GLICK

October 8, 2015

Jerusalem Post

“The man who propagates this murderous lie and orchestrates the death and mayhem that is its bloody harvest is none other than the West’s favorite Palestinian moderate.”

All the Palestinian terrorist attacks that have been carried out in recent weeks share one common feature. All the terrorists believe that by attacking Jews they are protecting the Temple Mount from destruction.

And why shouldn’t they believe this obscenity? Everywhere they go, every time they turn on their televisions, read the paper, go to school or the mosque they are told that the Jews are destroying al-Aksa Mosque. Al-Aksa, they are told, is in danger. They must take up arms to defend it from the Jews, whatever the cost.

One man stands at the center of this blood libel. The man who propagates this murderous lie and orchestrates the death and mayhem that is its bloody harvest is none other than the West’s favorite Palestinian moderate: PLO chief and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

On September 16 Abbas gave a speech. It was broadcast on PA television and posted on his Facebook page. In it, he incited the Palestinians to kill Jews. In his words, “Al-Aksa Mosque is ours.

They [the Jews] have no right to desecrate it with their filthy feet. We won’t allow them to do so and we will do everything in our power to defend Jerusalem.”

Abbas added, “We bless every drop of blood spilled for Jerusalem. This is clean and pure blood, blood that was spilled for God. It is Allah’s will that every martyr will go to heaven and every wounded [terrorist] will receive God’s reward.”

Two weeks later, Abbas opened his address before the UN General Assembly with the same lies, threats, and incitement.

Almost exactly a year ago, Abbas spewed the same bile in a speech, with the same murderous consequences. In a speech before Fatah’s executive committee last October, Abbas said, “We must prevent them [the Jews] from entering the holy site in every possible way. This is our holy site, this is our al-Aksa and our church [the Church of the Holy Sepulchre]. They have no right to enter them. They have no right to desecrate them. We must prevent them from entering. We must block them with our bodies to defend our holy sites.”

In subsequent weeks, Abbas’s words were rebroadcast 19 times on Palestinian television.

During that period, Arab terrorists massacred rabbis in prayer at a Jerusalem synagogue, attempted to assassinate human rights activist Yehudah Glick, and murdered Jews standing at light rail stops in the capital.

Eleven Israelis were butchered in that terrorist onslaught.

Then as now, Abbas and his lieutenants not only incited attacks, they incentivized would be perpetrators to kill Jews.

Every year, the same PA that claims perpetual poverty pays more than $100 million to terrorists imprisoned in Israeli jails. Their salaries range between four to seven times the average PA salary, depending on the lethality of the attacks they carried out.

Popular awareness of the financial benefits of terrorist activities has played a critical role in motivating Palestinians to attack Jews. This is made clear by the actions in recent weeks of several of the supposedly “lone wolf” attackers in the hours before they struck. Several of them – like their predecessors in last year’s onslaught – announced their intention to become martyrs to protect al-Aksa from the Jews on their Facebook pages immediately before they carried out their attacks.

Money may be the greatest incentive Abbas and his PA provide for potential terrorists. But it isn’t the only one. There is also the social status they confer on terrorists and their families. Every would-be terrorist knows that if he succeeds in killing Jews, he will be glorified by the Palestinian media and his family will be embraced by the PA establishment – first and foremost by Abbas himself, who has made a habit of meeting with terrorists and their families.

Presently, Israel’s security brass is embroiled in a bitter dispute with our elected leaders regarding the nature of the current terrorist offensive. The dispute bubbled to the surface Wednesday night when the generals used military reporters to criticize Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for blaming Abbas for the violence.

The generals insist that Abbas is a good guy.

He’s trying to calm the situation, they argue, and Israel needs to support him.

From the looks of things, the IDF seems to have the upper hand in this fight. This is the only way to read Netanyahu’s announcement Wednesday night that he is barring government ministers and members of Knesset from visiting the Temple Mount until further notice. Netanyahu’s move is nothing less than a signal that he accepts Abbas’s premise that there is something wrong with Jews exercising their right to visit Judaism’s holiest site.

The generals’ rationale for defending Abbas is fairly straightforward. Throughout the current Palestinian terror onslaught they have continued to cooperate with Abbas-controlled Palestinian security forces in Judea and Samaria.

These forces cooperate with the IDF in seeking out and arresting terrorists from Hamas and other groups that are not subordinate to Abbas. The fact that Abbas has ordered his men to work with the IDF has convinced the generals that he is a positive actor. So as they see it, he must be protected.

In their view, Israel must limit its counterterrorism operations to tactical operations against trigger pullers and their immediate commanders and ignore the overarching cause of the violence.

In behaving in this manner, our security brass is being willfully blind to the fact that Abbas is playing a double game. On the one hand, he orders his forces to be nice to IDF officers in Central Command when they fight terrorist cells from Hamas and other groups not loyal to Abbas, and so wins their appreciation.

But on the other hand, Abbas works with those same terrorist forces, incites them to attack, and rewards them for doing so.

Perhaps the most outrageous aspect of the IDF’s insistence that Abbas is critical to its counterterrorism efforts is that the IDF’s own data demonstrate that Abbas has played an insignificant role in quelling terrorist attacks against Israel.

As Jerusalem Post columnist Evelyn Gordon showed in an article in Commentary this week, according to official data, from 2002 when Palestinian terrorist activities in the areas were at their peak until 2007, when Israel began transferring security control over some Palestinian cities to Abbas’s forces, levels of terrorism went down 97 percent. Even after Israel began permitting Abbas to deploy his security forces to Nablus and Jenin, the IDF has continued to operate at will in these areas, often on a nightly basis.

As Gordon noted, the only place Abbas has exercised sole security control was in Gaza. From September 2005, when Israel removed its military forces from Gaza until Hamas expelled Fatah forces from the areas in June 2007, Abbas’s forces had full control over Gaza. During this time, his forces did nothing to prevent Hamas – and Fatah forces – from attacking Israel with thousands of mortars and rockets. His forces did nothing to prevent the massive transfer of advanced weaponry to Gaza from Egypt and Iran.

True, since his forces were routed in Gaza, Abbas has ordered them to work with the IDF in Judea and Samaria to prevent Hamas from overthrowing him. But at the same time, he continuously seeks to form a unity government with Hamas.

He funds Hamas. He glorifies its terrorists. And he refuses to condemn their attacks against Israel.

Moreover, while ordering his men to help the IDF to protect him from Hamas, he leads the diplomatic war against Israel internationally. The goals of that war are to harm Israel’s economy and deny Israel the right to self-defense.

Our political leadership’s reluctance to stand up to the army is understandable. It is nearly impossible to order the IDF to take action it opposes.

At some point though, the government is going to rein in our insubordinate generals. Fortunately, the government doesn’t need the IDF to deal with Abbas and destroy his capacity to foment and direct attacks against Israel.

Our elected officials have the authority to go after the twin foundations Abbas’s terrorist offensive on their own. Those foundations are the incitement and the financial incentives he uses to motivate Palestinians to attack Jews.

On the financial end, the Knesset should pass two laws to dry up the wells of terrorism financing.

First, the Knesset should pass a law stipulating that all property belonging to terrorists, and all property used by terrorists to plan and carry out attacks, will be seized by the government and transferred to the victims of their attacks.

Moreover, all compensation paid to terrorists and their relatives pursuant to their attacks will be seized by the government and transferred to their victims.

The second law would relate to Israel’s practice – anchored in the Oslo Accords that Abbas revoked last month at the UN – of transferring tax revenues to the PA. The Knesset should pass a law prohibiting those transfers unless the Defense Minister certifies that the PA has ceased all terrorism- related activities including incitement, organization, financing, directing and glorifying terrorist attacks and terrorists.

Until he so certifies, all revenues collected should be used to pay PA debts to Israeli institutions and to compensate victims of Palestinian terrorism.

As for the incitement, the government needs to go to the source of the problem – Abbas’s blood libel regarding Jewish rights to the Temple Mount.

As things stand, Abbas is exacting a price in human lives for his obscene anti-Jewish propaganda about our “filthy feet defiling” the most sacred site in Judaism. By barring elected officials from visiting the Temple Mount, not only is the government failing to exact a price for Abbas’ obscene propaganda. It is rewarding him and so inviting Abbas to expand his rhetorical offensive.

To remedy the situation an opposite approach is required. Rather than bar elected officials from visiting the Temple Mount, Netanyahu should encourage them to do so. Just as he sent a letter to Jordan’s King Abdullah telling him that Israel is preserving the status quo on the Temple Mount, so he should write a similar letter to our lawmakers.

In his letter, Netanyahu should say that in keeping with the status quo, which protects the rights of members of all religions to freely enter the Temple Mount, so he commits the government to protect the rights of all believers of all religions to ascend the Mount.

The Palestinian terrorist onslaught now raging against us is not spontaneous. Abbas has incited it and is directing it. To stop this assault, Israel must finally take action against Abbas and his machinery of war. Anything less can bring us nothing more than a temporary respite in the carnage that Abbas will be free to end whenever he wishes.

About Caroline B. Glick

I grew up in Chicago’s ultra-liberal Hyde Park neighborhood. Hyde Park’s most famous resident is Barack Obama.

I made aliyah to Israel in 1991, two weeks after receiving my BA in Political Science from another radical liberal stronghold — Columbia University in New York, otherwise known as Beir Zeit on the Hudson.

I joined the Israel Defense Forces that summer and served as an officer for five and a half years.

From 1994-1996, as an IDF captain, I served as Coordinator of Negotiations with the PLO in the office of the Coordinator of Government Activities in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. In this capacity I was a core member of Israel’s negotiating team with the Palestinians.

In 1997 and 1998 I served as assistant foreign policy advisor Binyamin Neta[n]yahu during his first stint as Prime Minister.

From 1998-2000 I returned to the US for graduate school. I received a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Although I spent most of my free time hiking in New England, it did not escape my attention that much of the faculty at the Kennedy School was not particularly fond of America, (Alinsky’s organizing methods were taught in a required first year course for MPP candidates) — or of Israel.

The latter truth was exposed for all the world to see when my former professor Steve Walt co-wrote the updated version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion with his friend from my childhood hometown – University of Chicago’s John Mearshimer.

Pope calls Abbas ‘angel of peace’ during Vatican visit

Pope Francis welcomes PA President Mahmoud Abbas 5-16-15

Francis made the compliment Saturday during the traditional exchange of gifts at the end of an official audience in the Apostolic Palace. He presented Abbas with a medallion and explained that it represented the angel of peace “destroying the bad spirit of war.” – Times of Israel

On Friday I posted on Pope Francis legitimizing Islamic terrorists in recognizing the unity government of Hamas-Palestinian Authority (PA) as a sovereign nation named Palestine. Today the Times of Israel ran the story on Pope Francis greeting Mahmoud Abbas as an angel of peace that is “destroying the bad spirit of war.”

Islamic Terrorist Mahmoud Abbas

Born in March 1935, Mahmoud Abbas, commonly known as Abu Mazen, is a leading politician in Fatah. He served as Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority (PA) from March to October 2003. In January 2005 he was elected President of the PA.

Through the 1960s, ’70s, and ’80s, Abbas travelled with Yasser Arafat and the rest of the PA leadership-in-exile to Jordan, Lebanon, and Tunisia. In 1966, after the pair had murdered a number of intelligence officers in Syria, they fled to Jordan. Four years later, after their effort to topple Jordan’s Hashemite regime sparked a brutal civil war, they were expelled to Lebanon. “By 1975,” writes Yoram Ettinger, former Minister for Congressional Affairs at Israel’s Embassy in Washington DC, “they had plundered large parts of southern Lebanon, attempting to overthrow the central regime in Beirut, which triggered the Syrian invasion of Lebanon, a series of civil wars and the destruction of Lebanon.”

“One of the extraordinary blind spots of contemporary Middle East history is the obsession of calling Mahmoud Abbas, whose nom de guerre or war name is Abu Mazen, a peace-loving moderate. … Abbas was not only Yasser Arafat’s deputy for 40 years, he also co-founded with him the terrorist group Fatah, masterminded the Munich massacre and wrote a PhD thesis and book denying the Holocaust. Pope calls Abbas ‘angel of peace’ during Vatican visit
Francis meets with PA chief after Holy See’s decision to acknowledge Palestinian state angers Jerusalem

Pope Francis praised Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as an “angel of peace” during a meeting at the Vatican.

Francis made the compliment Saturday during the traditional exchange of gifts at the end of an official audience in the Apostolic Palace. He presented Abbas with a medallion and explained that it represented the angel of peace “destroying the bad spirit of war.”

Francis said he thought the gift was appropriate since “you are an angel of peace.”

Abbas is in town for the canonization Sunday of two new saints from what was then Ottoman-ruled Palestine. It also comes days after the Vatican finalized a bilateral treaty with the “state of Palestine,” making explicit its recognition of Palestinian statehood.

Abbas, for his part, offered Francis relics of the two new saints.

The treaty, which was finalized Wednesday but still has to be signed, makes clear that the Holy See has switched its diplomatic relations from the Palestinian Liberation Organization to the state of Palestine.

A bilateral commission is putting the final touches to the agreement, on the Catholic Church’s life and activities in Palestine, which then “will be submitted to the respective authorities for approval ahead of setting a debate in the near future for the signing,” the Vatican said on Wednesday.

Some observers speculated that the agreement could be signed during Abbas’s visit.

The news of the treaty immediately drew ire from Israel.

“Israel heard with disappointment the decision of the Holy See to agree a final formulation of an agreement with the Palestinians including the use of the term ‘Palestinian State’,” said an Israeli foreign ministry official.

“Such a development does not further the peace process and distances the Palestinian leadership from returning to direct bilateral negotiations. Israel will study the agreement and consider its next step.”

The agreement, 15 years in the making, expresses the Vatican’s “hope for a solution to the Palestinian question and the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians according to the two-state solution,” Antoine Camilleri, the Holy See’s deputy foreign minister, said in an interview earlier this week.

In an interview with the Vatican’s Osservatore Romano newspaper, Camilleri said he hoped “the accord could, even in an indirect way, help the Palestinians in the establishment and recognition of an independent, sovereign and democratic State of Palestine.”

The Palestinian Authority considers the Vatican one of 136 countries to have recognized Palestine as a state, although the number is disputed and several recognitions by what are now European Union member states date back to the Soviet era.

Abbas’s visit came a day before two nuns who lived in Ottoman Palestine during the 19th century will be made saints at a Vatican ceremony.

Marie Alphonsine Ghattas of Jerusalem and Mariam Bawardy of Galilee will become the first Palestinian Arabs to gain sainthood.

Ghattas was born in Jerusalem in 1847, and died there in 1927. She was beatified — the final step before canonization — in 2009.

Bawardy was born in Galilee, now in northern Israel, in 1843. She became a nun in France and died in Bethlehem in 1878.

She was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1983.

Although there are several saints who lived in the region during Christianity’s early days, Bawardy and Ghattas are the first to be canonized from Ottoman-era Palestine.

The canonization of a third Palestinian — a Salesian monk — is still under review by the Church.

Intro to ‘Islam is Islam’

Intro Date: January 18, 2015

Dajjal also left a very apt comment pertaining to the NCCR cross post written by Danny Jeffrey “JEWS, NETANYAHU, FRANCE, ISLAM AND THE AGENDA”. Dajjal’s comment begins with a quote from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

Radical Islam is an enemy to us all”.

Frankly I was curious of the full context of the quote. I found several locations but here’s the context of all Netanyahu said in relation to participating to that unity march against terrorism in Paris from Israel Hayom:

“These are the values upon which modern France was built and these are the values that are worth fighting for,” Netanyahu said.

“Justice and truth are with us. And here is the truth: Radical Islam is an enemy to us all. Not Islam, not regular extremists, but radical Islam. The enemy has many names — Islamic State, Hamas, al-Qaida, Nusra, Hezbollah — but all are branches of the same poisonous tree.

“It is not by chance that radical Islam has wanted to destroy Israel since its founding. This is because it is the only democracy in the Middle East. Here is another truth: Radical Islam does not hate the West because of Israel, rather it hates Israel because Israel is an organic part of the West. It justly sees Israel as an island of democracy and Western tolerance in a sea of extremism and violence that it wishes to impose on the Middle East and the entire world.

“Those who massacred Jews at a synagogue in Jerusalem and those who massacred Jews and journalists in Paris belong to the same murderous terrorist movement — they must be condemned and fought against equally.” (Netanyahu in Paris: Radical Islam is an enemy to us all; By Mati Tuchfeld, Israel Hayom Staff and Reuters; Israel Hayom; 1/12/15)

In Danny Jeffrey’s essay he said he had a great disdain for politicians but admired Benjamin Netanyahu. Dajjal in this comment also shares a great disdain for politicians but rather than admiring Netanyahu, Dajjal criticizes the Prime Minister for using the term “Radical Islam”.

Dajjal’s comment then goes on to correctly explain that Islam is Islam. That there is no Moderate or Radical in Islam. Dajjal’s argument is really quite effective; however if you the full context of Netanyahu’s speech he was doing what good politicians do. Netanyahu’s comment was aimed at the Palestine Authority President Mahmoud Abbas who spews hate toward Jews and Israel as well as paints a picture of reconciliation with Muslim Brotherhood lackey in Hamas that currently rules the Gaza Strip.

Now with that all in mind read Dajjal’s very effect case that Islam is Islam.

Reblogged this on Freedom Ain’t Free & Take Our Country Back and commented:

Netanyahu in Paris: “Radical Islam is an enemy to us all”: ‘Radical Islam’. Politicians piss me off; Netanyahu is no exception as regular readers of my blog know. Islam is Islam: what Moe preached and practiced as recorded in the Qur’an & Sunnah. Appending adjectives to Islam malignantly postulates a false ‘moderate’ Islam. Nothing of the sort exists. Islam amassed an empire stretching from China to Portugal by the sword, in compliance with the imperatives contained in Surah Al-Anfal & At-Taubah which are codified in Reliance of the Traveller o9.8 & 9.9 in reverse order of sequence. At Jumah Salat, Muslims recite Surah Al-Baqarah 2.286 as a supererogatory prayer, asking Allah to grant them victory over us. Allah & Moe murdered, burned orchards and built a well-deserved reputation for barbarian repine to terrify those they sought to conquer without a fight. Doubters & dissenters: it’s documented in this pdf file: https://www.scribd.com/doc/101297086/Terrorism.

Which of the terrorists involved in recent attacks in Beslan, Madrid, London, New York, Mumbai and Paris was not a Muslim? In whose name did they perform those acts; what did they say when shooting and detonating? What do they say when slitting the throat of hadi at Eid? Blog Editor info-clarification: Sacrificing a hadi during Eid] Cameron, Hollande, Merkel, Ban Ki-moon, Shrub, Clinton, Carter & Obamination cannot get a clue, can you? We have provided a few, take hold of them and share them.

The terrorism problem does not have any moderate term solution that does not involve expelling and excluding Muslims. The Jihad problem has no long term solution that does not involve extinction. That is because Muslims believe that they will go to Paradise if they attempt to conquer us or to Hell if they hold back. They will not cease attacking until they cease to believe in Allah, his imperatives, threat and promise. Push them back far enough from our borders so that their weapons cannot reach us. Prevent them from mating nuclear warheads with ICBMs.

Inviting Abbas or any other Muslim to an anti-terror/pro-free expression rally is the moral equivalent of inviting Kermit Gosnell [Blog Editor: Gosnell was a murdering abortionist actually convicted of killing live babies. Pre-conviction description of Gosnell’s abortion practice] to an anti-abortion rally.
