So you think Muslim immigrants and Muslims refugees and their sons and daughters are not a threat to indigenous Americans? Ask veteran Staff Sergeant Thomas Keane residing in St. Cloud Minnesota.

The largest Muslim influence in Minnesota are Somalian Muslims that seem very attracted to the Islamic terrorist organization al Shabaab which based in Somalia. It also seems the Islamic State more recently has also made incursions among the Somali-Muslims in Minnesota. In a recent WND article it was discovered that Minnesota Muslims interviewed were grateful for the lack of persecution but would much prefer Sharia Law to American Constitutional. In a nutshell that means a zero intent to assimilate to the American way of life. Thomas Kean became a victim of this Muslim attitude when he discovered a note on his car windshield telling him threatening to leave NOW! The implication was an “or else!”

Muslims coming to America as refugees are a threat to the American way of life, our Constitutional legal system and to the heritage ingrained in American souls influenced by the Pilgrims, Puritans and Christians in general.

The latest incident in a very disturbing trend, one of our own US Army vets living in St. Cloud, Minnesota, just Northwest of Minneapolis, received a shocking flagrant threat left on his vehicle as it sat outside his home where his family sleeps.

The short and cryptic message told the Army vet to “LEAVE HERE NOW“ with the word NOW underlined menacingly. After the horrific recent attacks in Brussels, San Bernardino, Paris, and more, these threats seem all too real.

Although people may dismiss it as a mischievous youth or joke, the alarming trend of radical Islam taking hold in American Muslim communities must be taken very seriously, especially considering they targeted this Veteran at his home.

CLOUD, Minn. (KMSP) – A photo of a hate note left on an army veteran’s windshield in St. Cloud on Monday is now going viral on social media. The note reads, “U U.S. soldier, U kill R brothers — U leave here NOW. ”

The Facebook post, that’s already been shared over 10,000 times, was written by fellow veteran Jonathan Ksepka, who said he shared it to make veterans and service members “aware that these kinds of threats have been made in the area,” he wrote.

Staff Sergeant Thomas Keane served in the U.S. Army for 24 years from 1990 to 2014. He was also awarded a Purple Heart. But what made him a hero to many, is exactly what made him a target to at least one.

“I went to turn the car on, and I see the letter on my windshield,” Keane told Fox 9. “It’s just disturbing.”

We can’t let these kinds of threats go unanswered. Respond by showing your support for our troops who are currently in harm’s way! Show how patriotic the rest of us are!

MAF – Stop Obama’s Iran Deal!

Move America Forward (MAF) and a number of Conservative websites and Conservative fund raisers are promoting what is billed as a David Zucker ad lambasting the Iran Nuke Deal pushed by President Barack Hussein Obama and his Secretary of State John Kerry. The ad parody is quite humorous and only a minute and a half or so long.

I have no doubt many Conservatives and Conservative organization will use the anti-Iran Nuke Deal parody as a fund raiser. Whether or not any particular organization is actually fronting money for paid ad time is irrelevant. This parody is truth in ironic smiles. In the case of MAF, this organization does great work in taking care of our military men and women fighting Islamic terrorists and defending the USA in general overseas with essential needs care packages. MAF is a worthy organization to donate toward.

EVEN IF YOU HAVE HEARD Obama/Kerry’s nefarious selling out America and Israel is a done deal. It is worthy to resist right up to any Congressional votes against the deal or any veto override votes that will take place. Even after the obvious damage to our National Security occurs, our American dislike will make it easier for the next President of the United States of America to undo Obama’s Executive Order by-passing the Constitution’s Treaty process.

This is a bad-to-worse deal that we MUST STOP. The Iranian deal represents a monumental shift in foreign policy and it’s a gamble that could go down in history as the single greatest national security blunder ever made by an American President.

Obama’s deal with Iran is dangerous and must be stopped! Here are just some of the negative “side effects”

Removes all the economic sanctions that forced Iran to the negotiating table in the first place

Gives $150 billion in cash assistance and from freeing up frozen Iranian assets to Iran’s extremist government.

No stipulations on how funds are spent. Iran will be able to sponsor more terror attacks through groups they support and fund.

Iran provides their own inspectors to monitor their own facilities and they choose which samples to provide.

International inspectors have no access to Iran’s military facilities which could hide nuclear material.

Iran can delay any scheduled inspections for up to 24 days, plenty of time to hide incriminating evidence.

No plan is in place to re-impose sanctions if Iran does not comply with their end of the bargain.

US is forced to “…strengthen Iran’s ability to protect against and respond to nuclear security threats including sabotage…”

The Zucker piece entitled, “Side Effects” spoofs the popular prescription drug advertisement formats which include a litany of possible drug side effects. “Tonight we heard another artful speech from President Obama filled with uplifting rhetoric about moving beyond politics and working for the greater good. Despite tough talk, over the past 6 years we’ve seen very little action from President Obama to actually defeat Islamic radicals who kill Americans and threaten our way of life.

“The President said in the beginning of his speech that ‘the time of crisis has passed’ but the world is very much still in crisis. Obama is celebrating his retreat from the War on Terror while Americans overseas continue to die.” said Danny Gonzalez, Director of Communications.

“In Afghanistan, our troops are leaving behind a country that is just as unprepared for ISIS as Iraq was when Obama pulled troops out of Iraq in 2012. We hope this year the President will finally wake up and start calling our enemies by name, Islamic terrorists. As he calls for authorization to use force to stop ISIS in Iraq, we urge the President to engage the full might of the American military to accomplish this task and stop tip-toeing around while ISIS secures and consolidates its power base,” said Gonzalez.

President Obama delivered his State of the Union address and we’ve got all the biggest highlights — hits, and misses from the President and from responses!

HITS

HIT – The biggest hit of the night was when Obama recognized our troops and their service over the last 13 years at war. They received the biggest standing ovation of the night, far longer than any the POTUS got.

HIT – In contrast to the FLOTUS guest, Congressman Duncan D. Hunter invited Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, the Afghanistan war veteran who was held in a Tijuana jail by the Mexican government for over 200 days after he unintentionally crossed the border with firearms in his vehicle.

For all the time Tahmooressi was being held in a filthy Mexican prison, being mistreated and denied justice, President Obama did nothing to secure his freedom. Move America Forward joined hundreds of Americans who protested for Andrew’s safe return, which finally happened November 1st last year. No thanks to our Commander-in-Chief.

HIT – In response to Obama parading Alan and Judy Gross, Speaker of the House John Boehner invited political refugee Jose Luis Garcia who was a political dissident thrown in prison by the Castro regime for 17 years! Obama’s new Cuba is a reward to the Castro regime for their years of brutality.

HIT – President Obama SAID he wanted an authorization for use of force against ISIS. We couldn’t agree more, we must do more to combat ISIS. We must point out however, that ISIS has been a threat for over a year now, and still Obama has done nothing. The troops that he’s sent to Iraq have such a limited scope of mission, and the air strikes he has allowed have done very little. ISIS continues to hold huge swaths of territory in Iraq and executes more innocent people every day. We urge President Obama to use the full might of our military to actually do something about this, rather than just talk tough.

HIT – Former UN Ambassador John Bolton responded to the President’s State of the Union address on Twitter, tweeting “Have all Cuban political prisoners been freed yet? And Obama wants us to trust Cuba?” and he pointed out “Obama continues to see international threats as distracting from his primary objective to “fundamentally change” American domestic policy.”

We fully agree with Ambassador Bolton. Obama’s foreign policy is a disaster and every time one of those blunders causes a crisis, he defends himself by saying we are only using these disasters to score political points. Benghazi was not a “GOTCHA” moment as the president says, it was a disaster!

HIT – Bravo to Joni Ernst for delivering the Republican response to the President’s State of the Union. You will remember that MAF was one of Joni’s strongest supporters in her bid for the Senate. We support her because of her principles and because of her service to our nation. She is the first female combat veteran to serve in the U.S. Senate and we know she will continue to stand for our troops. In her response, Ernst said, “The forces of violence and oppression don’t care about the innocent. We need a comprehensive plan to defeat them.” We could not agree with Joni more. President Obama continues to ignore the spread of Islamic radicalism, he denies it even exists.

MISSES

MISS – First Lady Michelle Obama invited an illegal immigrant to join her in a place of honor in the halls of Congress. Ana Zamora, who continues to break the law by continuing to remain in the US illegally, is held up as a standard of good behavior according to Obama’s liberal agenda.

She is here to serve as a symbolic THANKS from millions of illegals who thank President Obama for his executive order that amounts to amnesty, while our borders remain unsecured. Are we supposed to be impressed and applaud Obama for circumventing the law and promoting people who knowingly ignore the legal immigration system in place?

MISS – Another member of the First Lady’s guest list in the seat of honor are Alan and Judy Gross. Mr. Gross was jailed in Cuba and was freed as part of Obama’s new deal to reopen relations with the Communist nation. It’s a snub to the millions of Cuban citizens who are still stuck in that poor country under the thumb of a brutal totalitarian regime that continues the savagery established by Castro when he first took over.

MISS – In the first five minutes of the POTUS’s speech he says “…combat operations are over in Afghanistan… the shadow of crisis has passed” here again President Obama is CELEBRATING his retreat from the War on Terror while Americans overseas continue to die. Just today, the State Department asked all Americans to evacuate from Libya due to terror threats and the country of Yemen is apparently about to fall to a rebellion by Islamic-radicals. The situation continues to unfold, but Iraq, Afghanistan and the rest of the Middle East continues to be in crisis while Obama says everything is fine.

MISS – President Obama doubled down on his threat to veto any bills that sanction Iran, saying that these sanctions threaten all the wonderful progress he’s accomplished with stalling their Nuclear Program…but he failed to mention that his administration has missed every single benchmark they promised they would in their deal with Iran. We were told that after a 6 month period there would be progress…6 months came and went, and still no progress, yet the sanctions against Iran remain lifted, giving them tons of extra money which they use to fund terrorist organizations like Hezbollah.

MISS – President Obama shamelessly chided his detractors (MAF includes ourselves among them, sometimes) saying “A better politics is one where we debate without… “gotcha” moments, or trivial gaffes, or fake controversies that have nothing to do with people’s daily lives.” but we contend that Obama’s foreign policy blunders are NOT gotcha moments, they cost American lives, as we’ve seen in Benghazi and Iraq since ISIS started taking over. His foreign policy makes the world a more dangerous place by failing to confront those terrorists who would harm us.

MISS – For the 6th time in 6 State of the Union addresses, President Obama once again called for the closure of GITMO and claimed that he has cut the population of GITMO in half. All he has done in reality, is send new talent back into the arms of ISIS, the Taliban, and Al Qaeda. The current leader of ISIS in Afghanistan is a former GITMO detainee. Obama says this to score political points, but GITMO is not going anywhere.

Move America Forward (MAF) is a pro-troop organization that emerged during the Bush Administration as a response to Left Wing anti-war organizations like MoveOn.org and Code Pink as examples. Although MAF beginnings were about countering Leftists vilifying the military the primary role emerged to be one of care packages of practicality for U.S. troops fighting Islamic terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq that was initiated because the Radical Islamic terrorist organization al Qaeda hi-jacked jets killing over 3,000 people (2013 stats – Directly Died – 2,996) on American soil at the World Trade Center, Pentagon and one airline that passengers revolted against hi-jackers probably saving hundreds if not thousands of American lives at the cost of all the passengers that crashed in Pennsylvania on 9/11. After the 9/11 attack the Taliban government of Afghanistan granted asylum to al Qaeda which led to a U.S. led invasion. Iraq’s invasion came later because Saddam Hussein had continued his regional upheaval even though we had to spank him for invading Kuwait in the 90s.

OF COURSE this even further evidence of the wide scale cover-up to what was going on in Libya with the Obama Administration, confiscated Qadhafi weapons and Radical Islamic divisions within the Syrian rebellion against rogue nation President Bashar al-Assad’s Alawite Shi’ite Iran propped up by Iran government (no good choices for U.S. National Interests there).

The Weekly Standard is reporting that Republican lawmakers are very concerned that Deputy Director of the CIA Mike Morell seems to have intentionally misled Congress during hearings and meetings where lawmakers were attempting to find out who was responsible for changing the talking points that led to Susan Rice lying to the American people about Benghazi.

According to the Weekly Standard, Deputy Director Mike Morell first told Congress that the FBI was responsible for changing the talking points to omit references to Al Qaeda. Later on, CIA officials called to admit that it was in fact the CIA and not the FBI.

“I went back and reviewed some of his testimony the other day and he’s gotten himself in a real box,” says Senator Saxby Chambliss, the highest-ranking Republican on the committee. “It’s really strange. I’ve always thought Mike was a straight-up guy, gave us good briefings-factual, straightforward. I mean, this has really been strange the last few weeks-all this now being uncovered.”

People like Susan Rice, who carried on the lies to protect President Obama’s reputation, have never been investigated for their part in the coverup and to this day refuses to apologize for lying to the American people.

Move America Forward (MAF – also there is MAF Freedom PAC) is the premier charity/NGO that has the purpose of supporting our military in a patriotic fashion. MAF does not trash talk soldiers, sailors and airmen. Rather it supports causes that place our Military Servicemen on a pedestal of Patriotism. The commercials on TV are calling us to purchase, cars, furniture, clothing, appliances, electronics or a myriad of other things to “Celebrate Memorial Day” with their huge blowout sales! Our Parks and Recreation programs are declaring summer has arrived by opening our pools and encouraging us to come join in the fun and laughter this Memorial Day weekend. It saddens me and breaks my heart to see that most of America has taken advantage of this 3 day weekend as a reason to party, shop and celebrate for self-fulfillment. As a country we have lost our focus and the reason why we take time to stop and respectfully, solemnly and reverently remember those who gave up their last breath and hope of a future, so that we could enjoy each and every day. We have failed our children by not educating them as to the real meaning of Memorial Day.

As I child I remember getting together with family for picnics or bar-b-ques. We looked forward to camping trips or trips to the lake. There were a few trips I remember to the cemetery but it was to place flowers on deceased relative’s graves who had never served in the military. I thought Memorial Day was to remember loved ones who had died. I wasn’t taught and therefore I missed the opportunity to teach my children that Memorial Day is to remember those who paid the ultimate price. Freedom comes with a price, freedom’s not free.

It really was my son Marc Alan Lee who taught me about Memorial Day. The way he lived his life and the value he placed on others’ lives, caused him to sacrifice his life defending his teammates and our freedoms. Marc was the first Navy SEAL killed in Iraq 8-2-06. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” John 15:13

The orders from Gen. John A. Logan declare “The 30th of May, 1868, is designated for the purpose of strewing with flowers, or otherwise decorating the graves of comrades who died in defense of their country during the late rebellion, and whose bodies now lie in almost every city, village, and hamlet churchyard in the land. In this observance no form of ceremony is prescribed, but posts and comrades will in their own way arrange such fitting services and testimonials of respect as circumstances may permit. “

General James Garfield made a speech at Arlington National Cemetery on the first Observance of Memorial day and then 5,000 patriots decorated the graves of 20,000 soldiers buried in the cemetery. I am so proud of the boy scouts who every year place flags on my son’s grave and every headstone at Fort Rosecrans. I know that many others throughout the nation will be doing the same at National Cemeteries all over our country, thank you!

Waterloo, NY was declared by President Johnson as the official birthplace of Memorial Day. He recognized that this was a city who understood the real meaning of Memorial Day. They knew that Memorial Day was to honor America’s mighty warriors who sacrificed their lives in combat defending our freedoms. Businesses closed, community wide events were planned to honor our brave warriors who were killed in action and residents gathered and decorated the graves of our heroes. How sad that there are businesses in America who take advantage of this holiday and choose to increase their profits instead of sacrificing a little by closing to remember the sacrifice of our fallen war heroes.

I speak for all of the Gold Star families who have lost a loved one in combat, that every day for us is Memorial Day. With pride and pain we remember them; we remember their smile, their voice, their smell, their touch, their laughter, their character, their dedication and their sacrifice. As a nation we ask that on Memorial Day, one day out of the year that as a Nation we corporately come together to honor our fallen heroes who died in combat. That’s not asking too much for the blessings and freedoms that you enjoy every day.

I’ve read many articles about Memorial Day and heard quotes from speeches from well-meaning people, even from our leaders in the military, who seem to not completely understand that Memorial Day is the Day we remember those heroes, who while serving in the military, died in combat. We have Armed Forces Day and Veterans Day to remember our Vets. Personally not a day goes by that I don’t remember our Vets, not matter when they served, or the branch of service they were in. I’ve dedicated my life to honoring, thanking and supporting our military and especially the families of the fallen, but on May 28th, Memorial Day join with me as we “Remember” not “Celebrate” those who gave their all for you and I.

Join with me as I lead the charge to reclaim Memorial Day. Attend Parades and community events to remember our fallen heroes. Take a carload of friends and family to a National Cemetery and decorate the graves and remember the sacrifice of a hero and their family. Thank the family members of those you know who lost a loved one in combat. Take a Gold Star family to lunch, coffee, dinner and ask them about their hero. Do something to let them know you have not forgotten the sacrifice and understand the high price that has been paid for our freedoms. Read a story of a fallen hero, watch a memorial video, then pass it on to those whose lives you have influence on. If you’re a business, close on May 28th to honor and remember our fallen or donate the proceeds from the day to a charity who tells the stories of our fallen or who takes care of the families of the fallen. Our fallen heroes gave their very last breath defending you and they have earned the respect due them on Memorial Day.

Enjoying your three-day weekend? We hope so. We wish all of our supporters a happy Memorial Day, but we also want to remind everyone who we have to thank for the privilege of observing this holiday, our troops.

While back home we have the privilege of getting everyone together for a family cook out or bbq, our troops are still fighting a war in Afghanistan. Our troops don’t get to have a barbecue, unless they get really inventive, like this Marine who improvised a very crude grill over some rocks.

And the main course for this Afghanistan cookout? SPAM. That’s their idea of a Memorial Day BBQ. Kind of makes you appreciate the luxurious surroundings and supermarkets we enjoy at home, doesn’t it?

WHAT IS ANSWER THE CALL AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Every summer, Move America Forward spends a month focusing on supporting one particular unit deployed in Afghanistan. We select this unit based on the difficulty of their mission and the danger level in the region of Afghanistan in which they are fighting.

We have selected 800 Marines from the 2nd MEF to support and we’ll continue raising money until we have enough to send support to all 800 of these troops, who are operating in 2 of the most dangerous provinces in Afghanistan.

We have currently raised enough to help 582 of the Marines, but that means we’re still short by 291! With Memorial Day tomorrow, are we really going to allow 218 Marines to go without support??

Leftist Academia Hates ROTC

I have just read a Move America Forward email that calls for major Universities to allow ROTC back on their campuses. Evidently one of the chief reasons these Universities denied ROTC opportunities on their campuses is because of the military policy of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT) in preventing open homosexuality in the military from occurring. Of course while the Dems had both Houses of Congress the DADT policy was repealed further opening America to the immorality of accepting the sin of same-sex as a normal part of society.

The MAF email correctly points out that the Leftist reasoning is a load of horse manure for many of America’s elite Universities have been fighting the existence of ROTC programs since 1960s. The recent student heckling of Purple Heart recipient Staff Sergeant Anthony Maschek for participating in a Townhall style debate at Columbia is a classic example of Leftist Professors programming the minds of College students to hate the very military that exists to protect the American way of life of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. These programmed Leftist hecklers were rude to Maschek even though he put his life on the line as a military hero. He was shot 11 times according MAF (I heard in a FOX News interview it was 9 times) and lost his leg.

I don’t have a problem with people expressing their First Amendment right to Free Speech to disagree with Maschek over the ROTC issue; however the open disrespect of interrupting, laughing and insulting Maschek while he was making his Townhall style point at Columbia University was a reprehensible act of disrespect.

The MAF email goes on to write now that DADT is off the table for Leftist academia to rail against the military they are now dreaming other Leftist reasons to keep ROTC off of major University campuses.

Cut Funding for Schools that Disparage our Troops!

TIME TO ENFORCE THE SOLOMON ACT

The Solomon Act, first enacted in 1995, was established to address the problem of liberal universities banning ROTC and military recruiters from campuses as far back as the 1960’s. Under the Solomon Act, schools and universities that receive federal funding could lose those funds if the school in question does not cooperate with ROTC and military recruitment programs.

For years, universities, even Ivy League schools like Harvard and Yale have closed their doors to our military, and when the Solomon Act became law and threatened their hefty federal government grants, schools scrambled to find a loop hole. Since then, schools like Columbia, which was the site of last week’s horrendous attack on a disabled Iraq war hero, have avoided being penalized through the Solomon Act by claiming that military discrimination of gays through “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” violated their school’s discrimination policies.

Now that DADT was repealed by Congress, these schools can no longer use DADT as an excuse for violating the requirements of the Solomon Act. Therefore there should be no reason why they continue to ban ROTC and military recruiters from campuses.

But despite the official policy change, we continue to see incidents of open hostility to our nation’s military and those who serve in it, such as the incident at Columbia which disgusted so many, and began this debate. So why do Columbia and other Ivy League schools maintain this anti-military attitude.

Jed Babbin writing for the American spectator reminds us that before DADT became the big scapegoat universities across the country had already banned ROTC, banned military recruiters, or both long before the Solomon Act.

“First, let’s set the record straight. Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Dartmouth, Brown, and Columbia — and pretty much all the rest of the Ivies — tossed ROTC out not in response to the DADT law, but back in about 1969 at the height of the Vietnam antiwar protests. They latched on to the DADT law only as an excuse to continue their exclusion of the military” – JED BABBIN Jan 3, 2011

Students should be reminded that their very rights to protest are protected and ensured by the brave men and women of the military who risk their lives for our sake.

Isn’t it time we start enforcing the Solomon Act?! If schools don’t want to open their doors to our military, to which we owe everything, they don’t deserve the benefits of federal funding for other pet projects. Sign our petition to call on schools to either allow ROTC back on campus or finally face the penalties in accordance with the Solomon Act.

No sooner had the ink from President Obama’s pen dried on the paper that outlawed DADT were college professors and apologists for the universities already making more excuses. They needed a new rationalization, something else to be unhappy about, as justification to continue their policies of barring recruiters.

Even after Obama made the call for ROTC to be welcomed back in schools the university professors and administrators were undeterred! In fact just weeks before the despicable incident at Columbia, a professor from that school, Jonathan R. Cole, penned an article for The Huffington Post, arguing against ROTC.

“… even the DADT policy left many inequalities between gays and straight members in the military. But more broadly, the legislation failed to address the broader inequalities that continue to haunt gay couples in America…there continue to be many ways in which gays and lesbians do not have equal rights on our campuses …”

According to Cole, accepting gays is not enough, it is also incumbent upon military leaders to ensure that gays are not only accepted by the military, but elevated to a high enough position within the greater society of America. Not only for gays, but also for the transgender, mixed gender, gender-confused and everything in between.

Since when did it become the military’s responsibility to fix society’s problems? Focusing their frustrations with other societal problems or factors on the military will not only fail to help whatever they’re unhappy about, it unfairly targets our military, which is not the source of the problem!

Cole, the University of Columbia and other schools are trying to come up with more excuses to violate the Solomon Act, it’s time to say no more excuses!
