Exposing SPLC as Hate Group

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) got its start during the Civil Rights movement of the ‘70s. In those days the SPLC was a hero for targeting racist organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), Neo-Nazi groups (e.g. Aryans and Skin Heads) and other racist hate groups. Good stuff, right?

 

Well the major victories of the Civil Rights movement at least on legal ground has leveled the playing field in the rule of law. Certainly racism still exists in America, but racial minorities have the law on their side to prevent racial exploitation on an overt basis. The racism that is growing now in the America is largely the result of Left-Wing groups stirring up strife with race-baiting in an effort to gain votes. Leftist race-baiting has been a political instrument for the last couple of decades to hinder traditional American values that began to regain sway with the Presidential Administrations of Reagan, Bush II and now populist Conservatism with the surprise election of President Donald Trump.

 

Since the Left can hardly believe they lost to President Trump, they have done everything to lie, obstruct and manufacture anti-Trump accusations ever since that first Tuesday in November 2016.

 

The SPLC is doing their part for the Left by labeling Biblical Family Values organizations as hate groups. There are several groups on the SPLC so-called hate list that are simply Biblical Christian or telling the truth about Islam that I am not going to name here. The Christian ones of interest to me are the Liberty Counsel (LC), Family Research Council (FRC) and American Family Association (AFA).

 

If I had time I could point out Counterjihad writers and organizations that simply expose the darker nature of Islam that the Left refuses to expose and way too many Conservatives are hesitant to expose out of fear of organizations like the SPLC labeling them Islamophobic haters.

 

For both Christians and Counterjihadists, the SPLC hate-labels are merely to turn the relatively uninformed public against what is correct and moral by calling the good as evil.

 

The Conservapedia entry for the SPLC provides a great synopsis of the organization’s hatred of all things American Patriotic, Christian and Counterjihad in the first couple of paragraphs – READ the entire entry:

 

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a far-Left legal and activist organization created in 1971 in Montgomery, Alabama. It was founded by trial lawyers Morris Dees and Joe Levin, and its first president was civil rights leader Julian Bond, who would later take control of the NAACP. SPLC supports a wide variety of liberal positions; it is pro-immigration (both legal and illegal), advocates multiculturalism and the homosexual agenda, supports Muslims and racial preferences and defendants’ rights, and advocates against what it considers “hate groups”. In 2012, Black pastors confronted the Southern Poverty Law Center for smearing as “hate groups” pro-family organizations opposed to the homosexual agenda.[1] Reverend Dr. Patrick Wooden admonished the SPLC in declaring that it is wrong to compare “my beautiful blackness” with homosexual perversion.[2]

The Liberty Counsel has been blistered by the SPLC so often that they have been the subject of multiple hate-accusations trying to discredit and ruin the Christian Family Values advocate organization. It has led Mat Staver to ask for legal defense aid several times a week to battle in civil suit beginning with NGO expert Guidestar that used the SPLC hate-list.

 

An article from 7/2/17 I found on American Civil Rights Union (ACRU not to be confused with Leftist ACLU):

 

Frustrated by its inability to win elections, the left is attempting to silence opponents through intimidation, either in the streets or in the courts.

The latest example is the hijacking of Guidestar USA by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

 

Guidestar is a database of more than 2 million nonprofit and non-governmental (NGO) organizations. It’s considered the foremost authority on nonprofits, and had a self-avowed reputation for “remaining neutral.”

 

That changed when a left-wing activist, Jacob Harold, came aboard in 2012. Mr. Harold, whose bio boasts of donating to the Obama campaign, extensive activism on behalf of climate change groups, and hosting a NARAL Pro-Choice D.C. men’s event, tweeted a photo of himself holding a sign protesting President Trump at the radical Women’s March in January.

 

Apart from Vermont ice cream magnates Ben and Jerry, it might be hard to find a more radically leftist major CEO. So it’s no wonder that Mr. Harold welcomed the Southern Poverty Law Center as an authority on “hate groups.” Using SPLC’s “hate map” as a resource, Guidestar smeared 46 organizations, many of them Christian, as “hate groups.”

 

The Southern Poverty Law Center has a long history of abusing nonprofits and individuals with whom they disagree. They tar innocent people and may have inspired at least two terrorist incidents. A venerable Christian ministry based in Fort Lauderdale recently saw its name listed on a CNN map of “all the active hate groups where you live,” as well as in local news reports as the No. 1 hate group in Florida.

“Enough is enough,” said Frank Wright, president of D. James Kennedy Ministries, which filed a lawsuit against the SPLC on Wednesday. The organization also sued GuideStar and AmazonSmile for their use of the SPLC list.

 

… The SPLC recently received a prominent boost from Apple, which pledged a $1 million donation and will launch a new feature to allow users to donate directly from iTunes.

D. James Kennedy Ministries—formerly called Truth in Action—claims that the SPLC falsely labeled it as a hate group with the intention to hurt its reputation and fundraising efforts, according to a 39-page lawsuit filed in federal district court in Alabama (where the SPLC is headquartered).

 

The suit alleges that the ministry’s inclusion on the list of hate groups amounts to defamation—spreading false, harmful information—as well as a trademark violation, misrepresenting the ministry in order to drum up fundraising support. Wednesday’s filing made the same claims against the charity-research site GuideStar for promoting the SPLC designation, seeking an injunction against further use of the “hate group” label and damages from both organizations.

 

Wanting to call out “hateful rhetoric” during a “highly politicized moment,” GuideStar recently added the SPLC designations onto its profile pages—including for Christian nonprofits who stand for traditional marriage like the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), Liberty Counsel, the Family Research Council (FRC), and the American Family Association—then removed the hate labels after backlash in June. The controversy made many of these groups, their leaders, and their supporters even more upset over the prominence of the SPLC’s categorizations. (D. The case alleges that the defendants — online retailer Amazon, online charity reporting company Guidestar and SPLC — damaged the ministries by creating, publishing and promoting SPLC’s infamous “hate” designations.

 

The hate designations already have prompted a lawsuit by Liberty Counsel against Guidestar. And several organizations, including the Alliance Defending Freedom, have demanded broadcasters retract reports quoting SPLC’s hate designations.

 

The case seeks an award for “special harms from the SPLC” over the groups’ rejection by the AmazonSmile program due to the hate designations.

“It is the SPLC’s intent that the people who receive the information that SPLC publishes about the ministry will rely on SPLC’s information as fact and will base their charitable giving decisions on that information.”

 

For its part, GuideStar “knowingly accepts defamatory information from the SPLC regarding the ministry and knowingly, intentionally, and purposefully republishes that defamatory information with the intent that the people who receive the republished SPLC information from GuideStar will rely on that information as fact for the purpose of making their charitable giving decsisions [sic].”

 

The case alleges defamation against SPLC and GuideStar: “SPLC’s very purpose for placing the ministry on the Hate Map was to harm the reputation of the ministry as to lower it in the estimation of the community and to deter third persons from associating or dealing with the ministry.”

Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit that advocates for civil and religious rights, sued GuideStar over its use of SPLC’s “hate” labels, explaining the actions resulted in death threats to employees and other harm.

 

“Liberty Counsel has been forced to provide additional security because of the significant threat that GuideStar’s false and defamatory statement has caused. Violent extremists have relied on the false and defamatory statement to commit acts of terrorism and violence against innocent people who merely happen to hold a different viewpoint on certain issues than GuideStar,” Liberty Counsel said.

 

Liberty Counsel pointed out that SPLC “hate” designations already have been linked to two attempted mass murders: the attack by Corkins on the Washington office of Family Research Council and the shooting attack this summer near the capital that severely injured Rep. SPLC’s word-weapon of choice is “hate.” It uses the H-word to harpoon victims through a “Hate Map” – a cluttered visual surrounded by sobering images such as a “hate-graph” and clenched fist symbols. Percentages purportedly communicating something really serious about “hate” assault the viewer’s senses in size 72 font.

 

The map’s approach is indiscriminate, by design. It mixes the likes of the KKK, “Racist Skinhead(s),” and “Neo-Nazi(s)” with groups holding traditional views of human sexuality. Quaint notions on the meaning of marriage, rooted in longstanding religious beliefs, receive special hostility. Never mind that less than 10 years ago nearly every major political figure in the country, including President Obama, said marriage was a union of one man and one woman. Many of those folks are given a pass, however, because their views on that issue have since “evolved.”

 

But the SPLC dictates – because it says so – that those who failed to evolve (some might say “retained their convictions”) are now the functional equivalent of skinheads. Just picture those scary traditional marriage types, roaming the streets with chains, looking for a good fight. This would be a ludicrous and even laughable attempt at equivalency, if not for the harm it does to people of good will (to say nothing of the damage to public discourse).

 

Fortunately, increasing numbers of independent commentators are calling out the SPLC for its outrageous tactics. Mat Staver of the Liberty Counsel not only is involved in the civil suit against the SPLC, Guidestar and etc., but they are also publicizing some dirt on the SPLC to demonstrate how nefarious the Leftist organization is:

 

I have some breaking news on the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) that gives us a window of opportunity to expose the SPLC for what it is — a massive, money-making machine of the radical left that is aggressively targeting pro-faith and pro-family organizations.

 

On Thursday, The Washington Free Beacon exposed the SPLC’s ongoing practice of funneling many millions of dollars into offshore accounts, where it apparently is stockpiling vast sums of money.

Instead, as Liberty Counsel has reported, the SPLC is a vast enterprise with hundreds of millions of dollars that is pushing an anti-faith, anti-family agenda that threatens every American’s liberties! Now that the SPLC’s unethical and unregulated “offshore” money has come to light, we must do everything in our power to fight back against their “fake hate” campaign and overcome their outrageous lies once and for all!

Over the past few weeks, the SPLC has blatantly “leveraged” the Charlottesville tragedy to expand its “fake hate” campaign. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has gained traction in recent weeks, but contrary to media reports, the group does not exist to “monitor hate groups” but to destroy groups that it targets for “strictly ideological” reasons. In light of large donations from Apple, J.P. Morgan, and George Clooney, and CNN’s favorable coverage of the SPLC, Americans should learn the real motivations behind this far-left organization.

 

In the words of SPLC former spokesman Mark Potok (who spent 20 years as a senior fellow at the SPLC and only retired this year, according to LinkedIn), the group does not exist to monitor hate groups.

 

“Sometimes the press will describe us as monitoring hate groups, I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, completely destroy them,” Potok declared at an event in Michigan in 2007.

Potok reiterated this point at a Vermont school group in 2008. “You are able to destroy these groups sometimes by the things you publish,” he declared. “It’s not so much that they will bring down the police or the federal agents on their head, it’s that you can sometimes so mortally embarrass these groups that they will be destroyed” (emphasis added).

 

The SPLC “mortally embarrasses” groups by equating mainstream conservative, Christian, and other organizations with the Ku Klux Klan and white supremacists. Make no mistake, this is not a “hate group monitoring” organization, it’s a far-Left defamation racket that exists to target any group it disagrees with politically.

 

“We see this political struggle,” Potok added in his 2008 Vermont speech. “We’re not trying to change anybody’s mind. We’re trying to wreck the groups. We’re trying to destroy them. Not to send them to prison unfairly or to take their free speech rights away, but as a political matter to destroy them.”

 

In yet another 2008 speech, Potok explained the SPLC criteria for a “hate group.” The spokesman said, “Our criteria for a ‘hate group,’ first of all, have nothing to do with criminality, or violence, or any kind of guess we’re making about ‘this group could be dangerous.’ It’s strictly ideological” (emphasis added).

 

Here’s the criteria: “So we look at a group and we say, ‘Does this group, in its platform statements, or the speeches of its leader or leaders — Does this group say that a whole group of people, by virtue of their group characteristics, is somehow less?”

 

SPLC Warns of ‘Turmoil and Bloodshed’ With New Map Identifying Confederate Monuments, Cities, MIDDLE SCHOOLS

 

The SPLC’s actions have revealed what “group characteristics” means. The “hate group” list  features Christian organizations like D. James Kennedy Ministries, the Family Research Council (FRC), Liberty Counsel, the American Family Association (AFA), and Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), along with other groups like the American College of Pediatricians and the Center for Immigration Studies. It also lists Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz and women’s rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali as “anti-Muslim extremists.”

 

If an organization disagrees with LGBT activism, it is a “hate group,” because in the eyes of the SPLC belief in traditional marriage equates to stigmatizing gay people. If an organization or an individual warns against radical Islamic terrorism, that person or group is “hateful” because in the eyes of the SPLC it has stigmatized all Muslims, even if the person is a Muslim himself.

 

In light of these revelations, it makes sense that D. James Kennedy Ministries, Liberty Counsel, and Maajid Nawaz have each filed defamation lawsuits against the SPLC.

 

The SPLC’s broad definition of a “hate group” is exceedingly important, because this “hate” labeling has inspired at least one terror attack.

 

In the summer of 2012, the SPLC’s “hate map” inspired Floyd Lee Corkins III to break into the Family Research Council (FRC), a Christian nonprofit in Washington, D.C. Corkins aimed to murder everyone in the building, and he later pled guilty to committing an act of terrorism. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

 

During an FBI interrogation, the terrorist said he targeted FRC because it was listed as an “anti-gay group” on the SPLC website.

While the SPLC took no responsibility for their hate map inspiring the FRC shooting and refused to remove the FRC from that hate map, the group did claim that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s political action committee released maps putting Democrats in Congress in crosshairs, inspiring the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Az.). PolitiFact rated the SPLC’s claim “false.”

 

Nor was the 2012 attack the only terrorist event involving the SPLC. Earlier this summer, Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson shot people at a Republican Congressional Baseball Game practice, nearly killing Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) Hodgkinson “liked” the SPLC on Facebook.

 

The group had repeatedly tarred Scalise for a speech he gave to a white supremacist group, even after Scalise apologized (and was called a “sellout” by former KKK leader David Duke).

 

This connection to terror is particularly troubling, considering the SPLC’s most recent “hate map” — a diagram showing every single Confederate monument across the United States, which also includes elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. The SPLC warned of “turmoil and bloodshed” should these statues not be taken down.

The group has also been rather slow to admit fault and remove innocent towns from the “hate map” that inspired the FRC shooting. The SPLC falsely listed the historic Iowa town of Amana Colonies as the home of the notorious white supremacist website Daily Stormer. When challenged, the group argued that Daily Stormer writers had met for a book club in one of the town’s restaurants. The SPLC finally removed the town this week.

 

Muslim Reformer Joins Christians in Suing Far-Left Terror-Linked Organization for “Hate” Defamation

 

In spite of all this, the SPLC has been raking in the cash after the riots in Charlottesville, Va. George Clooney and his wife Amal pledged $1 million to the group, and the company J.P. Morgan pledged $500,000. Apple CEO Tim Cook was even more generous, announcing his company would give $1 million to the SPLC and that it would set up a system in iTunes software to let consumers directly donate to the organization.

 

Earlier this month, Lyft announced it would partner with the SPLC “to provide educational resources for drivers.” MGM Resorts announced that it would match employee contributions to the SPLC dollar-for-dollar. Some companies already follow this policy.

 

According to an analysis by Second Vote provided to PJ Media, companies such as Disney, Kraft Heinz, Charles Schwab, Progressive Insurance, Shell, and Verizon have matched their employees’ small-dollar donations to the SPLC. The big offenders are: Pfizer, which gave the SPLC $8,919.5 in 2013 and 2015 combined; Bank of America, which gave the SPLC $9,310 between 2013 and 2015; and Newman’s Own, which gave the group $50,000 between 2013 and 2015.

 

Each of these contributions pale in comparison to the gifts from George Clooney, J.P. Morgan, and Apple, but they are still noteworthy.

 

To make matters worse, the SPLC does not need any of this money. The group is a cash cow, recording more than $50 million in contributions and $328 million in net assets (according to its 2015 Form 990). The Washington Free Beacon reported multiple transactions to foreign entities, including two cash payments of $2.2 million to funds in the Cayman Islands.

 

CNN broadcast the SPLC’s “hate map” on its website and Twitter account this month (with the FRC still marked on the map). In June, the charity navigation website GuideStar adopted the SPLC “hate group” list, marking each profile of the targeted organizations as a “hate group.” ABC and NBC parroted the SPLC’s “hate group” label against Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) last month.

 

 

 

IT’S ON: Christian Group Sues SPLC and Amazon Over “Hate Group” Designation

 

“The SPLC depicts itself as a big champion of rights, but it’s become a champion of wrongs,” Dan Gainor, vice president of Business and Culture at the Media Research Center, told PJ Media in an email statement. “It is no longer the civil rights era group that many of its supporters believe. It now exists largely to attack groups it doesn’t agree with and to fundraise millions and millions of dollars off of uninformed donors.”

 

Gainor warned that “the media make this far worse by legitimizing the group’s so-called ‘hate list.’ In reality, that list is a bizarre mix of good conservative groups and disturbing fringe organizations. The SPLC sees no difference between a group defending the rights of Christians in court and the Klan.”

 

“The media credential this awful hate group and rarely report that some of the SPLC’s biggest fans are dangerous criminals,” Gainor added. He mentioned Floyd Lee Corkins and James Hodgkinson.

 

Apple, J.P. Morgan, George Clooney, Lyft, MGM Resorts, and any organization that partners with the SPLC should know what it’s getting into.

 

Corporate America should not support a group that exists to tar mainstream organizations as “hate groups,” inciting violence against them. It should not bankroll an organization that targets innocent towns and elementary schools as purveyors of hate. It should not support a “poverty” organization that sends millions of dollars to accounts in the Cayman Islands. Enough is enough.

A Grandma Tossed in Jail for Exposing Planned Parenthood

David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt were brought up on charges in late March 2017 by a Leftist Pro-Planned Parenthood California Attorney General Xavier Becerra.

Here is an excerpt from my March 30, 2017 post entitled “California: Privacy Trumps Human Life”:

 

About a half-a-year ago, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) under the  auspices David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt exposed Planned Parenthood not only as a baby-killing factory but also as an agent for selling murdered baby parts to a research organization illegally. The thing that makes Planned Parenthood heinous is that babies had to be born intact for the most precious baby parts. Intact means born alive then killed.

 

Then later in the same post I cross-posted an Operation Rescue email which informs about the charges:

 

Sacramento, CA – Late yesterday, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra charged pro-life investigative journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress with 15 felony counts related to secret recordings they made that provided evidence of Planned Parenthood’s participation in the illegal trafficking of aborted baby remains.

 

The best that I can tell is that Daleiden and Merritt have two different legal defense teams. Apparently David Daleiden is represented primarily by the Thomas More Society and Sandra Merritt’s team appears to be primarily the Liberty Counsel.

 

Since I am on the Liberty Counsel’s email press release alerts. As such, I found out that the California prosecution managed to have Sandra Merritt handcuffed and thrown in jail.

A May 5 Liberty Counsel update tells how the California authorities treated Ms. Merritt as she was incarcerated for a grueling 12 hours prior to her attorneys procured her release:

After 12 hours, three judges and $75,000 in bail, Sandra “Susan” Merritt was finally released from jail Wednesday. Merritt turned herself in to California authorities to answer the 15-count felony charges brought against her by the State of California for her undercover work in exposing Planned Parenthood’s illegal sale of aborted baby body parts.
Before Merritt was searched, handcuffed and taken away to jail, she and Horatio Mihet, Liberty Counsel’s Vice President of Legal Affairs and Chief Litigation Counsel, shared the Bible verse in Psalm 37:5-7 which says, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday. The State of California made it clear that it will spare no expense to convict her and put her in jail for 11 years. However, Liberty Counsel is defending Merritt and will seek dismissal of these outrageous and baseless charges. Similar criminal charges arising from the same recordings were brought against Merritt in Houston, Texas in 2016 but were eventually dismissed. The allegations say that Merritt and David Daleiden filmed 14 people without permission between October 2013 and July 2015 in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the county of El Dorado. One felony count was filed for each person. The 15th charge was for criminal conspiracy to invade privacy.

 

In light of the California authorities treating Sandra Merritt like a hardened criminal, the Liberty Counsel has begun an online movement to gather signatures in support of Sandra. Corruption Protects Planned Parenthood at Any Cost

I’m getting back to the indictment of David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt for exposing Planned Parenthood for performing live birth abortions for the mere sake of making a buck on baby parts for medical research. This might sound a bit repetitive of the January 26 post when I first found out about the Left going after the whistleblowers rather than the perpetrators of a murderous crime.

This indictment against those that expose Planned Parenthood for performing birth abortions which is murder even on the Left Wing scale is outrageous and scandalous. It boggles the mind that pro-abortion (aka baby-killers) are so dedicated to murder as birth control they look the other way as when a baby is born alive and either kill it or simply allow to die.

This post takes more time examining the motive of Prosecutor Devon Anderson for going after whistleblowers rather than murderers. I am first cross posting an email from the Liberty Counsel which focuses on Sandra Merritt and the second cross post looks a little more at David Daleiden of Center for Medical Progress (CMP) and more details on Prosecutor Anderson.

New evidence raises important questions

New evidence is emerging following a Texas grand jury indictment of Center for Medical Progress whistleblowers Sandra Merritt and David Daleiden, while closing an investigation into the Planned Parenthood traffickers of babies’ body parts.

Liberty Counsel is representing Sandra in this criminal case and in a civil case being waged against her in federal court by Planned Parenthood. Please see my very important update below – Mat.

Following the release of 13 undercover videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress exposing Planned Parenthood’s immoral and callous trafficking of aborted babies’ body parts, Texas officials stepped up and ordered an investigation into the Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Center.

While reportedly investigating the center, District Attorney Devon Anderson instead chose to bring a different set of charges to a Texas grand jury, which then indicted Merritt and Daleiden for allegedly “tampering with a governmental record … with intent to defraud and harm” and a misdemeanor count related to buying human tissue. Planned Parenthood walked out of the investigation unscathed.

The grand jury was ostensibly opened to investigate Planned Parenthood. However, recent reports suggest the grand jury was never asked to vote on whether to indict Planned Parenthood. This lack of a vote calls into question if there was any legitimate investigation of this organization.

+ + Evidence is surfacing that the Harris County District Attorney’s Office tasked with investigating Planned Parenthood has financial and personal biases towards abortion providers in Texas.

District Attorney Devon Anderson led a grand jury who failed to convict an abortionist after multiple eye witnesses testified that he frequently murdered babies after they were born alive. One person described how a baby grabbed the finger of abortionist Douglas Karpen before he killed the infant. Afterwards, the attorney for abortionist Karpen donated more than $25,000 to Anderson’s reelection campaign. This history makes one question whether Anderson or her office withheld information from the grand jury regarding the actions of Dr. Karpen.

The District Attorney’s office also has to explain having an assistant district attorney, Lauren Reeder, on the payroll who is also listed in tax records as a “Director” of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast.

+ + Liberty Counsel’s legal team will work with Sandra to undo this act of gross injustice.

We are honored to defend Sandra in both her criminal indictment and against Planned Parenthood’s civil lawsuit claiming that her connection to undercover videos produced by the CMP violated the federal “Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations” or “RICO” statute. RICO was never intended to implicate undercover journalists.

The indictment against Sandra Merritt is outrageous. There is a history of bias in the DA’s office involving abortion doctors and Planned Parenthood. We will intend to shine the light on the process. We believe the prosecutor and the grand jury twisted the law. Sandra Merritt should never have been indicted. The focus and the inquiry should and will remain on the horrific abortion practices of Planned Parenthood.

Presidential candidate Marco Rubio called this reversal of prosecution “outrageous,” while Fox News host Megyn Kelly called it a “political hit job.” They share the same sentiments as many pro-life Americans.

D.A. Who Indicted David Daleiden Received Over $25,000 From Attorney for Late-Term Abortionist

Today, Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson (pictured) defended her indictment of pro-life advocate David Daleiden despite the fact that a Planned Parenthood abortion business board members works as a prosecutor in her office. Now, new information has come to light that Anderson’s campaign received more than $25,000 from the attorney who works for a late-term abortionist.

As LifeNews reported Monday, a Texas grand jury has ignored the videos exposing a Houston-based Planned Parenthood abortion clinic caught selling aborted baby body parts and has instead indicted the man behind producing the expose’ videos.

The Texas grand jury indicted David Daleiden and another pro-life activist, Sandra Merritt, behind the videos. Instead of prosecuting Planned Parenthood for selling aborted baby parts, Daleiden was indicted for buying them.

Daleiden and Merritt were charged with one felony related to tampering with a governmental record and a misdemeanor count related to buying human tissue. The felony charge was in reference to the use of a fake ID. If convicted, Daleiden faces 20 years in prison while Planned Parenthood officials face no legal consequences for their actions.

Since the indictment, Anderson is facing criticism over her failure to prosecute an abortionist known as the Kermit Gosnell of Houston.

Anderson oversaw a previous abortion-related grand jury investigation of Houston abortionist Douglas Karpen after Operation Rescue released evidence in the form of photos and witness testimony that babies were being born alive during abortions and intentionally killed by twisting their necks. This case garnered publicity in the wake of the conviction of Pennsylvania abortionist Kermit Gosnell on three counts of First Degree Murder for intentionally killing babies born alive during abortions in a similar fashion.

That Anderson-led grand jury failed to indict Karpen despite the considerable evidence against him.

Karpen was represented at his trial by attorney Chip Lewis, who donated more than $25,000 to Anderson’s re-election campaign.

According to official campaign finance records from Harris County, Lewis donated a total of $15,000 to Anderson’s re-election campaign in 2014, with a $10,000 donation from Lewis to Anderson in February and another $5,000 from Lewis to Anderson in May. The abortion practitioner’s attorney made additional contributions to Anderson’s campaign later in the year — with Lewis sending another $1,000 on September 17 and $9,100 on September 25– as these Harris County campaign finance records show.

As to the Karpen case and Anderson’s lack of an indictment, the pro-life group said that grand jury failed to return a “true bill” that would have led to Karpen’s prosecution. Operation Rescue has reason to believe that the grand jury did not have access to all the evidence, and that Anderson’s close personal relationship with Karpen’s attorney may have contributed to the failure of the grand jury to indict Karpen.

“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, and there’s just too way much smoke blowing Planned Parenthood’s way in Harris County for us to feel remotely comfortable that Anderson’s office can conduct a fair and impartial investigation,” the group said at the time.

Now that Anderson’s office has indicted the pro-life investigators, Cheryl Sullenger, Senior Vice President of Operation Rescue is renewing the criticism.

“There is now a pattern in Houston of District Attorney Devon Anderson’s office covering up abortion-related crimes,” she told LifeNews.

“In 2013, another Anderson-controlled grand jury failed to indict Houston abortionist Douglas Karpen, who was accused by three of his former employees of murdering babies born alive during shoddy late-term abortions by twisting their heads or slashing their throats. Photographic evidence provided to me showed injuries to large aborted babies that was consistent with those claims. Operation Rescue has good reason to believe that evidence was never presented to that grand jury,” Sullenger explained a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.” She also laughed while looking at a plate of fetal kidneys that were “good to go.”

Anderson has come under considerably fire for what pro-life advocates call a politically motivated indictment and because a Planned Parenthood board member works for Anderson as an assistant district attorney. Lauren Reeder is a prosecutor in the Harris County District Attorney’s criminal family law division. Reeder is listed as a non-compensated “Director” on the 990 Tax Form for 2014 filed by Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast.

Although Anderson indicates Reeder had no role in the Daleiden indictment, there’s really no way of knowing if that is truly the case. Because of that, pro-life advocates have called for the appointment of a special prosecutor to look into the indictment and the fact that the grand jury never voted on charges related to Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted babies.

The expose’ videos catching Planned Parenthood officials selling the body parts of aborted babies have shocked the nation. Here is a list of all eleven:

§ In the first video: Dr. Deborah Nucatola of Planned Parenthood commented on baby-crushing: “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”

§ In the second video: Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Mary Gatter joked, “I want a Lamborghini” as she negotiated the best price for baby parts.

§ In the third video: Holly O’Donnell, a former Stem Express employee who worked inside a Planned Parenthood clinic, detailed first-hand the unspeakable atrocities and how she fainted in horror over handling baby legs.

§ In the fourth video: Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Savita Ginde stated, “We don’t want to do just a flat-fee (per baby) of like, $200. A per-item thing works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.” She also laughed while looking at a plate of fetal kidneys that were “good to go.”

§ In the fifth video: Melissa Farrell of Planned Parenthood-Gulf Coast in Houston boasted of Planned Parenthood’s skill in obtaining “intact fetal cadavers” and how her “research” department “contributes so much to the bottom line of our organization here, you know we’re one of the largest affiliates, our Research Department is the largest in the United States.”

§ In the sixth video: Holly O’Donnell described technicians taking fetal parts without patient consent: “There were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”

§ In the seventh and perhaps most disturbing video: Holly O’Donnell described the harvesting, or “procurement,” of organs from a nearly intact late-term fetus aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose, CA. “‘You want to see something kind of cool,’” O’Donnell says her supervisor asked her. “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think.”

§ In the eighth video: StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer admits Planned Parenthood sells “a lot of” fully intact aborted babies.

§ The ninth video: catches a Planned Parenthood medical director discussing how the abortion company sells fully intact aborted babies — including one who “just fell out” of the womb.

§ The 10th video: catches the nation’s biggest abortion business selling specific body parts — including the heart, eyes and “gonads” of unborn babies. The video also shows the shocking ways in which Planned Parenthood officials admit that they are breaking federal law by selling aborted baby body parts for profit.

§ Unreleased Videos: Unreleased videos from CMP show Deb Vanderhei of Planned Parenthood caught on tape talking about how Planned Parenthood abortion business affiliates may “want to increase revenue [from selling baby parts] but we can’t stop them…” Another video has a woman talking about the “financial incentives” of selling aborted baby body parts.

§ The 11th video: catches a texas Planned Parenthood abortionist planning to sell the intact heads of aborted babies for research. Amna Dermish is caught on tape describing an illegal partial-birth abortion procedure to terminate living, late-term unborn babies which she hopes will yield intact fetal heads for brain harvesting.

The full, unedited videos have confirmed that revelations that some aborted baby remains sold by Planned Parenthood go to biotech companies for the purpose of creating “humanized” mice. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has been exposed as having sold body parts from aborted babies for as much as 15 years.

The federal law that technically prohibits the sale of aborted babies and their body parts was written by a pro-abortion Congressman decades ago and essentially spells out a process by which sellers of aborted baby body parts can meet certain criteria that allows the sales to be legal. That’s why a Colorado congressman has introduced legislation to totally ban the sales of aborted baby body parts.

I received a Liberty Counsel Action email pushing a petition that will be delivered to key members of the House of Representatives to proceed with Articles of Impeachment to throw out the worst abuser of the U.S. Constitution in American history.
 
Frankly, another purpose of the email is to promote the sale of a 96 page book “The Duty to Impeach: A Call to Throw Off a Lawless President” put out by the Liberty Counsel. It is a great marketing ploy; nonetheless I do encourage participation in the petition and the book purchase. The book will provide a good understanding for the legal reasons to impeach Obama rather than our Conservative anger that President Barack Hussein Obama has used his Executive Order power to make laws and statutes outside the authority of the Constitution. I have not read the book yet but I intend to so I can fuel for future blog posts or to answer the arguments of Left Wing Moonbats.
 
I am unaware – as I am writing this – to what line of thinking “The Duty to Impeach” will follow. It seems to me there are some laws broken in a nefarious illegal fashion with the scandals that the Mainstream Media (MSM) has actually grudgingly shared with their readers. However, the MSM is failing to report the extent to which the Obama Administration is simultaneously stonewalling Congress while publicly retorting to critics that so-called extensive Committee investigations have taken place without evidence of wrong doing showing up for prosecution.  Hello! Did I mention the word Obama Administration STONEWALLING?
 
I look forward to reading the annotated Liberty Counsel book entitled “The Duty to Impeach” to see the legal avenues to pursue impeachment of President Obama.

America has been forced into a constitutional crisis of historic proportions by President Barack Obama. The President’s abuses have brought us to the point that the People can no longer tolerate his subversion of the Constitution or his willful violations of his Oath of Office.

In his recent State of the Union Address, Barack Obama declared that 2014 is to be “a year of action” – with or without the consent of Congress. He once again asserted his provocative mantra, “I have a pen and I have a phone.”

His misguided declaration is yet another expression of the usurpation of power by the Executive Branch and an arrogant dismissal of the balance of power as set forth in the Constitution of the United States. Barack Obama has repeatedly abused the limited powers of the Executive Branch and has systematically overstepped his constitutional authority.
 

As a constitutional attorney, I am appalled at President Obama’s contemptible misuse of his office.  Has he forgotten he solemnly swore to UPHOLD the Constitution in two inaugural ceremonies?

++Without the constitutionally defined “Separation of Powers,” we are merely a socialist dictatorship masquerading as a democracy.

In his five years of holding the office of president, Barack Obama has proven to the American people time and again that he will stop at nothing to further his radical agenda.
 

He has actively subverted the Constitution, manipulated the rule of law, intimidated and coerced lawmakers, and employed overt deceit and distortion to sway public opinion.

As I have often observed, this is the most corrupt and divisive presidency in American history. The bottom line is this…
 
The Constitution of the United States has been systematically subverted in order to form a more socialized union under the radical rule of Barrack Obama. There is compelling evidence this pattern of abuse will intensify in the Obama administration’s final three years of rule.

The modern commonality of historians discount the practice (or lack thereof) of morality in a civilization for how it thrives or fails. Nearly all religions subscribe to defined morals for their adherents to guide their lives ethically. (That includes the religion I disparage the most – Islam) Historians first like to look at physical factors that lead to a civilization’s demise; e.g. economic circumstances pertaining to feeding the people, military conquest from a variant civilization, mass immigration of a variant civilization, changing climate or environmental circumstances affecting modes of living and so on. I contend the dilution of a civilization’s morals corrupt social mores leading to selfish feel good activity over the common good that unifies the people of a civilization.
 
Normalizing selfishness above communal unifiers will lead to an increase of violence which corrodes the ability to maintain a just rule of law. Religious faith that promotes a standard of ethics designed as a foundation for mutual good interactions in a society defines the lines of good and wrong actions. Religions with morality that condemn actions that cause social strife are religions that promote a thriving civilization. If the religion itself promotes a morality with a harsh retribution and too difficult for the adherents to subscribe, then groups of people will naturally begin to gravitate toward a religion or ethical philosophy that maintains a moral foundation that embraces a common mutual inner fulfillment.
 
Human nature is an imperfect persona. It is in a human’s nature to do that which feels good even if it harms others or self. When the standard of moral ethics imposes restrictions that a civilization has a common acceptance of then self-destructive tendencies are easier to be restrained and the exercise of a self-discipline moves one to choices that result not only in an inner fulfillment but also leads to social interaction that benefits a civilization rather than fracturing it.
 
I am an adherent of the Christian faith that believes in the primacy of Sola Scriptura. The Latin phrase Sola Scriptura essentially portrays the meaning that the Scriptures in the Bible is the foundation for matters of faith and doctrine in Christianity. Not all devoted Christians subscribe to Sola Scriptura as the essence of primacy of relaying faith and doctrine to Believers. Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox and many Roman Episcopate type of Protestant Churches (e.g. Anglican-Episcopalian, Methodists, Lutherans etc. – A better Latin phrase for the authority of the Bible is Prima Scriptura implying the primacy of Scripture with the influence of reason and/or tradition) place tradition and reason over the primacy of the Scriptures.
 
The Latin phrase Prima Scriptura or Scripture Above All, is a bit misleading in application. ‘Prima’ indicates primacy and primacy indicates the sense of first among other authoritative options. In the case of the Bible it means Scripture is primary but it is interpreted through the eyes of human reason and human tradition. Hence there is a theological liberty to dilute the interpretation of Scripture to render the original intent of God Almighty to fit the reasoning of human reasoning. This relegates the Scripture into a state of evolution rather than the Eternal Divine Word of God. Meanings are changed to benefit the Progressive desires to transform civilization to human designs.
 
Progressives, Liberals, Leftist or whatever appellation that can be referred to as a mindset dedicated making humanism the primary principle of thought above that of the Creator. Those dedicated to humanism are well intentioned but are deceived or even self-deceived into thinking humanity is the beginning of sentience and the ending of creating a utopia for the greater good of humanity. Such a utopia will never find fruition because it is rebellion against the molder of the clay – the Creator – God Almighty. Does the clay destroy its Creator? It is impossible! That which is molded can be destroyed or remade depending on the designs of the Creator.
 
Thank God the Creator loves the human clay not to scrap it but rather to develop a loving being that willingly chooses obedient Sonship (okay with a hat tip to the ladies) and obedient Daughtership to the Creator spirit, soul and body of humanity. Satan is a lying rebel and was kicked out of Heaven for deceiving himself he could replace the Creator. I believe God used this unholy rebel with the design to separate the bad clay from the good clay of humanity. Adam and Eve’s fall by giving allegiance to Satan and hence turning God’s lease given to humanity to the ownership of Satan. The Earth and humanity became corrupted. Thank God the Father had a better plan than the Deceiver’s plan to replace God. God gave a Promise that the Seed of Woman would produce a Savior that would crush Satan’s head.
 
13 And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
 
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent:
 
“Because you have done this,
You are cursed more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you shall go,
And you shall eat dust
All the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3: 13-15 NKJV)
 
The “your seed” with a small “s” refers to the descendants of Adam having his fallen nature. The “her Seed” with the capital “S” refers to Jesus in Mary’s womb not their by human but by the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit of God the Father.
 
Note that Jesus was a fetus at one time. Did existing as a fetus in the womb of Mary make Jesus a mere body part like an appendix, a heart, a liver, a bone and so on? In the days Mary, Joseph and Jesus walked the earth the Jewish Law interpretation of the Pentateuch did not look too kindly on an impregnated woman outside of holy wedlock. A Pregnancy outside of wedlock logically implied fornication, adultery or rape. Jewish Law demanded stoning for fornication and adultery. The penalty for rape depends if the woman is married or unmarried. Raping a married woman calls for the death of the rapist. Raping an unmarried woman the victim has a choice of forcing the rapist into marriage and either case the rapist must pay the father 50 shekels of silver (Source – WOMEN AND THE LAW OF MOSES: Laws Concerning the Violation of Marriage, Seduction and Rape (Deut. 22:22-30; Exod. 22:16); Christian Leadership  Center). Mary was not raped. The implications then were fornication or adultery. Not a pretty picture for Mary and the unborn fetus of Jesus in her womb.
 
God operated in miracles and alerted Joseph to the actions he should take pertaining to Mary and unborn Jesus. That action was NOT abortion.
 
In every way an unborn fetus has a God-breathed life awaiting the time to choose between Life in God or eternal separation from God in choosing Satan’s dominion. Choosing Life is always a witting decision. Sadly choosing eternal separation from God in more cases than not an unwitting choice based on believing the deceptive system of this world age controlled by Satan.
 
The act of abortion is an act of murder. Sanitizing abortion as expelling a lifeless fetus body part of a female is a deception of Satan to destroy the seed of Fallen Man before birth and growth allows the choice to become one with the Seed of woman which is Christ Jesus the Lord, the Savior and the Son of God.
 
Abortion is just symptom of moral failure that leads to the demise of a civilization. You can throw in the lifestyle choices described in Romans 1:
 
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,[a] for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”[b]
 
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
 
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
 
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
 
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality,[c] wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving,[d] unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1: 16-32 NKJV)
 
Abortion and many of these vices have become sins that are separating humanity from God’s Deliverance via the Blood of Christ that transfers the unredeemed into the Redemption of the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. If you are one Delivered from the bondage of Satan’s grasp you have an opportunity to be active to share this Good News that Jesus has come to offer Salvation from Satan age of woe, sickness and depravity.
 
DO NOT CHOOSE an activism that operates in an un-Christ-like manner. It is un-Christ-like to use violence in the name of the Savior to force compliance through fear. For fear is a weapon of Satan incorporating an antichrist spirit using ungodly means to mistakenly think you are operating for the good of God.
 
AND YET rolling over to become a rug to be trampled upon is not a Godly choice either. As a people we can defend ourselves from ungodly people by using the instruments God makes available. In a nation of laws the Redeemed must use the law as the unredeemed will attempt to subvert the law. Only when a government becomes oppressively corrupt should armed violence be taken up. And prayer must be used to find Godly leaders to be anointed to dispense laws in a Godly manner not in an ungodly manner.
 
In America we still have the Liberty of laws to fight wicked agendas. There are many leaders that seek the wisdom of God. God, the creator of the universe, created each of us in the womb.

Liberty Counsel affirms that life begins at conception. Preborn children are in fact children, not merely fetuses, and their lives should be protected from the moment of conception.

Yet in America today, many babies are being murdered in the womb because on January 22, 1973, the United States Supreme Court held that the 14th Amendment somehow suggests a woman’s “right” to have an abortion.

My update today is a call to protect the right to life of all Americans, both those who have been born and those who have yet to be born – Mat.

 
 Without the right to life, no other right has any consequence.

Yet each day in America, with the legal covering of the body of law that is anchored in the infamous Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision of 1973, over a thousand women will choose to deny the right to life to their preborn children.
 

In our lamentably callous and morally deficient society, many will do so unceremoniously, without grief, or without even suffering a sense of loss.

According to LifeNews, in the 41 years since the Supreme Court ruled in favor of abortion in Roe v. Wade, over 55 million abortions have destroyed the lives of unborn children.

For far too many American women, abortion has simply become a type of “birth control.”  Planned Parenthood and other aggressive pro-abortion forces have successfully reengineered many Americans’ thoughts about the taking of pre-born human lives.
 

Further, liberal “progressives” and the morally void media have demonized pro-life people and organizations, claiming pro-moral Americans are somehow waging a “war on women.”

++Turning the tables on Roe v Wade.

On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan declared January 22, 1984, as “National Human Life Day.” In doing so, he issued a proclamation which read, in part:
 

“The first of the ‘unalienable rights’ affirmed by our Declaration of Independence is the right to life itself, a right the Declaration states has been endowed by our Creator on all human beings—whether young or old, weak or strong, healthy or handicapped”

We strongly agree with President Reagan’s proclamation and its role in promoting the annual March for Life each January 22.  Advancing the sanctity of human life is one of Liberty Counsel’s core missions.

Every year on January 22, in the March for Life, opponents of abortion march up Constitution Avenue to the Supreme Court Building in Washington, D.C.  Around 250,000 people have typically attended the march until 2010. Estimates put both the 2011 and 2012 attendances at about 400,000 each, and the 2013 March for Life drew an estimated 650,000 people.

As national polls show a steadily increasing majority of Americans opposing the Roe v. Wade decision and the so-called “right” to abortion it codified, the number marching in the annual event increases.  Even following Tuesday’s snow event in the nation’s capital, there will be a massive number of concerned Americans celebrating the right to life in the 2014 March for Life.

Life has been devalued in many societies throughout history – including, lamentably, our own. The promotion of abortion as a personal “right” is one of our nation’s greatest failings.

All human beings, at every state of development, are unique, created in God’s image, and shall enjoy the inalienable right to life as persons under the law.”
 
o   We testified before the House Judiciary Committee hearing on “Mismanagement at the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice” (DOJ) regarding the DOJ’s politically motivated lawsuits against innocent pro-lifers.
 
o   We filed a lawsuit against the City of West Palm Beach, Florida, on behalf of two pro-life women who faced charges under a vague city ordinance for speaking to women outside an abortion facility.
 
o   We protected preborn children after an abortion clinic was closed in Orlando, Florida.  Liberty Counsel called on Orlando officials to investigate the clinic after representing a mother and deceased child who suffered brutal “care” at the facility.
 
o   We requested that the U.S. Senate pass the Unborn Child Protection Act, which prevents abortion twenty weeks after fertilization.
 
These examples of Liberty Counsel’s passionate commitment to advance life are just a few of the many pro-life efforts we undertook in 2013 – and are the kinds of initiatives we will aggressively undertake in our Silver Anniversary year of 2014.

Obama’s Disgust for Christianity Observed in NDAA

Militant atheists and Americans that believe themselves to be Christians yet demand that Christianity be removed from the Public Realm are degrading American Culture. The Founding Fathers – even those devoted to Deism – acknowledged Christianity or at the very least Christian principles, to be the center of beneficial laws under a government.

 

I received an email from Mathew Staver of the Liberty Counsel pertaining to a militant atheist that is a Christian-Hater in particular. Stave informs that atheist Mikey Weinstein is a huge influence on President Barack Hussein Obama. What a surprise, right?

 

There is some bipartisan agreement to add an amendment to the next National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which will allow members of the Military the Religious Freedom of expression that all civilian Americans enjoy under the First Amendment (OR DO WE?).

 

Guess who is strongly opposing this Religious Freedom Amendment as part of the NDAA? If you read my posts you have probably made the correct guess that President Barack Hussein Obama is resisting the Religious Freedom Amendment to the NDAA. According Mat Staver it is Mikey Weinstein that is exerting advice on how to resist Religious Liberty in the United States Military. However, there is a history of Obama Administration extricating Religious Freedom out of our Military. Ted Starnes has an article in Townhall.com entitled, “Groups Say Religious Liberty in Military is in Danger”.

 

Starnes writes about the Religious Freedom Amendment, Obama’s opposition to it, lists a short list of Anti-Christian rules imposed on Servicemen and the twelve Groups (including Liberty Counsel) that are engaging with Congress to make sure Religious Freedom is available in the Military.

The amendment was authored by Rep. John Fleming, R-La. It would have “required the Armed Forces to accommodate ‘actions and speech’ reflecting the conscience, moral, principles or religious beliefs of the member.”

 

The Obama Administration said the amendment would have a “significant adverse effect on good order, discipline, morale, and mission accomplishment.”

If Leftists, Democrats and Separation Church-State secularists don’t see this as a war on Christianity they either lying or are ignorant. Now that I think of it probably both lying and ignorant.

 

This is crazy and unconstitutional. Activist Living Constitution Judges and Justices have brought America to this point in which Christianity is slowly being stripped out of the fabric of America. Christian Morality is what has made America great and exceptional. Without Christianity ceases to be exceptional.

 

Atheists and Democrats believe they have hit the nail on the head when they propagandize that the majority of the Founding Fathers were not Christians because they were Deists – minions of the Enlightenment that did not regard the supernatural of any religion let alone Christianity.

 

The haters of Christianity fail to inform that Deists in America differed from Deists in Europe and France in particular. French Deists were as close to being atheists without denying the existence of religion completely. American Deists contrarily and in the majority had a high regard for the principle inherent in Christianity that contributed societal morality and civil order.

I should include George Washington and the other signers of the Constitution sent to be ratified by the States that eventually created the United States of America; however Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Hamilton and Jay were influential in the establishment and early interpretation of the Constitution. Jefferson was actually away representing the Articles of Confederation government as Ambassador to France and had no actual hand in what was in the Constitution other than his friendship with James Madison. The point though is this: The Constitutional Framers regardless of their affinity to Christianity either as a traditional Believer or as a Deist asserted that Christianity was essential to the formation of the USA and Christianity would be basis of virtuous and moral foundation for Society and government.

Don’t let the bogus name Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) fool you. What Mikey Weinstein wants is freedom FROM religion, particularly in the United States military. 

 

I don’t need to characterize Weinstein to you. Instead, his own words tell you everything you need to know about this dangerous anti-Christian activist.  

 

In response to the Religious Liberties Amendment being appended to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) – a measure Liberty Counsel is strongly supporting – Weinstein said this on his MRFF website…

The MRFF mission is clear:  To demean and belittle people of faith while promoting a religion-free military and destroying the First Amendment rights of our servicemen and women.

It’s clear he is a vicious anti-Christian blowhard, but just how influential is Mikey Weinstein? 

 

According to the Huffington post, in a recent demonstration of his personal power, Weinstein called the Pentagon and demanded that the Air Force remove a painting from one of their offices entitled “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”  He gave them one hour to comply and in 56 minutes the painting was gone.

 

In 2012, Weinstein was declared one of the “100 Most Influential People in U.S. Defense” by Defense News. Weinstein also won the “Person of the Year” award from Americans United for Separation of Church and State in 2011.

 

++Weinstein’s mission is now Barack Obama’s mission.

 

Mikey Weinsten’s influence in the administration’s military policy making is one of the major reasons why the Religious Liberties Amendment must be passed in the Senate!

I heard a clip on Fox News of President Barack Hussein Obama relating a conversation (I am uncertain if it was in person or by mail) with a kid relating to gun control. I also saw four children sitting while the President addressed publically his concept of gun control.

 

Paraphrasing from memory the President said this kid asked something like, “I know you (meaning BHO) have to wait for Congress to enact laws, but can you do something about guns?”

 

Keep in mind this is just a paraphrase. The point though is BHO is using children to justify controlling citizens’ use of guns against the Second Amendment specific Right to Bear Arms.

According to published reports, President Obama’s “gun control” measures will include 19 Executive Orders (EOs), as recommended by Vice President Biden’s task force, that he says are within his power to execute.  Already, at least one irate Congressman has threatened to start impeachment procedures if the President follows through with his gun control agenda without regard to the legislative process.

 

Our constitutional rights are being dismantled before our eyes as the Obama axis of power rolls roughshod over the rule of law in America.  I am calling on ALL patriots to join Liberty Counsel in our “I Second the First” campaign to protect our Constitution!

President Obama must truly believe that the legislative process is too much of a nuisance and just too bothersome to be useful.

 

You know the process I mean…the one mandated in our Constitution as established by the Founders – the process at the heart of the rule of law in our nation.

 

Perhaps the President thinks it just takes too long to establish laws lawfully. Or, maybe he thinks the Constitution is too cumbersome and his Executive Orders are a more efficient and modern alternative way to “get things done.” 

 

More likely, he is fully aware that his proposals would never pass through the lawful legislative process.  Someone on his imperial staff may have noticed that we pesky citizens can sometimes thwart the President’s best Leftist ideas before they have a chance trample all over the People’s liberties! 

 

Judging from his actions, it is even possible the President believes that the checks and balances defined by the Constitution were just fine for a young nation in the 18th Century, but that it has been necessary for the Executive Branch’s prerogatives to “evolve” to have the decisiveness required in the 21st Century.

 

Whatever the President’s thoughts, they are clearly not worthy of the Oath of Office he will renew next Monday!  That oath, laid out in Article I, Section 1 of the Constitution, is simple and to the point:

 

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability,  preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

 

John, I’ll leave it to you decide if Barack Obama is fulfilling his solemn oath by undermining and circumventing the Constitution.

 

++A lawless administration in action.

 

The reality of how the Obama administration intends to operate during the President’s second term has dominated the news cycles for several days now.  President Obama, on the recommendation of Vice President Biden, is considering enacting as many as 19 Executive Orders on gun control. 

 

This is Barack Obama’s style of leadership.  Thomas Jefferson, a major contributor to the checks and balances enshrined in the Constitution, called it “elective despotism.”  It is an overarching abuse of power. 

 

Barack Obama’s 19 executive power grabs on “gun control” (the number as of today, anyway – there could be a lot more coming) are likely just the beginning of this administration’s attempt to trample on the Second Amendment Right to Bear Arms.

 

Here’s Liberty Counsel’s resolute position on this issue: We must “stick to our guns” and resist this tyranny! 

 

The very purpose of the Second Amendment was to allow citizens to bear arms to protect their hard-won freedom and defend themselves from future tyrants.  Yet today, we seem to have forgotten that the first battle of the American Revolution erupted when the tyrant King George’s forces marched to disarm the colonists by seizing an important powder magazine and armory!

Representative Steve Stockman (R-TX) has threatened to file articles of impeachment against President Obama if he institutes gun control measures through Executive Orders.

 

In a statement, Representative Stockman wrote…
