An Insane Chain of Events

If you’re a Conservative you are not surprised the Left-Wing Dems are taking political advantage to control the guns acquired and owned legally by Americans. If you are like me these Dem calls for massive gun control is leaving a bad taste in your mouth, BUT after the rapid sequence of mass killings you are also hesitant to take a stand for your Second Amendment Rights. A Second Amendment by the way designed for Americans to defend themselves from an oppressive government if the Constitutional government ever became oppressively unwieldy.

With that in mind, Justin Smith handles pretty well how two extremes in America are taking innocent lives and frankly how the Dems ignore their own Leftist extremes to blame all Conservative Americans by putting the face of President Trump on Right-Wing extremists. Which is a bit duplicitous by the Dem-Left because if check some of the source links I provide, you will discover these mass killers were influenced more by Left-Wing thinking than Right-Wing thinking.

On a personal note: I have never owned a gun. The last time I shot a gun was target practice with friends at around age 14. Currently I’m 62. I’ve come close to gun ownership largely due to (shh, don’t tell my wife) crazy in-laws. At age 62 I’ve been considering gun ownership again. Why? American politics is so divided I sense clashing civil strife will be a prelude to some form of a civil war that in the 21^st century will likely be vicious.

Murders Based On Ideology

Americans are witnessing an advent of a time, when murders based on ideology will become ever increasingly more prevalent, and, although it is a righteous matter to kill one’s enemies, in the defense of freedom and liberty, our American ideology based on Judeo-Christian and Western principles, the Bill of Rights and our God Given Rights and our Republic, in the face of violence intending to suppress those treasures, absolutely nothing can justify killing another human being simply because of their race. And as I hear the Democrats rail against “white nationalism”, I am left wondering where all their moral outrage was hiding when a black nationalist shot and murdered six Dallas police officers in 2016. Murder is a terrible and reprehensible act, and racially motivated murder is simply pure evil. [Bold text is Editor’s]

The only real justification to ever killing another human is in the defense of one’s family, a weaker community member under a violent attack, and one’s self, and some would say one’s property, although the situation would dictate my action in such a case; I can leave it to law enforcement to retrieve my property, but I can never see a loved one come back from death, unless God intervened on my behalf.

In an insane chain of events, running from July 28th to August 4th 2019, America has recently had to bury Her dead from senseless murders in Gilroy, California; El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio; a total of 31 dead and 64 wounded. Their murderers were 19, 21 and 24 years old, respectively, and the last two mass murders occurred within fifteen hours of one another.

Shortly after the Dayton Shooting, Mick Mulvaney, Director of the Office of Management and Budget, told ABC’s Jonathan Karl: “This was a sick person. … No politician is to blame for that. The person who was responsible here are the people who pulled the trigger. We need to figure out how to kind of create less of those kinds of people as a society and not trying to figure out who gets blamed going into the next election.”

Jon Cooper, Chairman of the Democratic Party Coalition, tweeted the following to Vice-President Pence on August 4th: “Fuck you, @VP. Our nation doesn’t want your thoughts and prayers. You and @realDonaldTrump — and congressional Republicans — are complicit in these horrific acts of gun violence. YOUR HATE SPAWNS DOMESTIC TERRORISM BY WHITE NATIONALISTS. The blood of innocent victims is on your hands!” [Blog Editor: I have to comment here on this Dem Party sentiment. There are Left-Wing extremists and Right-Wing extremist who BOTH utilize violence in the name of their agenda and anger. Both sides activate that violence when they hear or read something that will set them off. AND what they heard may be something as simple that normal people would write or vote their political anguish of what was heard from a Progressive (I hate that term for a Leftist who promotes politics that regresses ultimately to totalitarianism) or heard from a Conservative. So, when someone like Cooper spews profane venom toward a Christian Conservative like Pence, what do you think a violent Right-Wing extremist will with that? If a Right-Winger retorts in violence, is it Trump’s fault or Cooper’s fault? Perhaps I should inspire an Antifa Left-Wing extremist and say to Cooper, “Get off your mouth polluted high-horse! Is an Antifa violent response my fault? Trump’s fault? Or Cooper’s fault?]

Where was all this rage and fury when a deranged 66 year old Leftist gunman shot five people, at Eugene Simpson Stadium Park in Alexandria, Virginia, on June 14th 2017, including Representative Steve Scalise?

Regarding El Paso, President Trump tweeted: “Today’s shooting in El Paso, Texas, was not only tragic, it was an act of cowardice. I know that I stand with everyone in this Country to condemn today’s hateful act. There are no reasons or excuses that will ever justify killing innocent people.” And after the Dayton attack, Pres. Trump tweeted: ” … information is rapidly being accumulated in Dayton” noting that law enforcement response “was very rapid in both” Dayton and El Paso, as he added, “God Bless the people of El Paso Texas. God Bless the people of Dayton, Ohio.”

Many of our youth today are reaching adulthood believing that the foreign and antithetical Marxist ideology of communism and communism light, i.e. socialism, are attractive alternatives to the Constitution and free market capitalism, and they adhere to the communist adage of eventually implementing it “by any means necessary“, including violence, thanks to 80 years of socialist indoctrination in the public education system. Today’s violence is a reemergence of the 1960s violence of the Black Panthers and Students for a Democratic Society, as seen through Antifa, Black Lives Matter and the New Black Panthers; except now, some youth, who see themselves as “conservatives” and defenders of the American culture, are answering in kind and for reasons based in fallacies, with a flawed understanding of conservatism.

With that said, there was some real truth offered in the El Paso shooter’s manifesto. He wrote, in part: “… America is rotting from the inside out, and peaceful means to stop this seem to be nearly impossible. The inconvenient truth is that our leaders, both Democrat AND Republican, have been failing us for decades. They are either complacent or involved in one of the biggest betrayals of the American public in our history. … America will soon become a one-party state. … They [the Democratic Party] have already begun the transition by pandering heavily to the Hispanic voting bloc in the 1st Democratic Debate. They intend to use open borders, free healthcare for illegals, citizenship and more to enact a political coup by importing and then legalizing millions of new voters.”

However, for the most part, this manifesto was a confused jumble that mixed communist and capitalist ideologies, especially towards the end, when he espoused Malthusian depopulation of the planet and sustainable development. More than any “Trump supporter”, his “manifesto” read more like an ANTIFA member wrote it, and gibberish.

According to many on the Left today and exhibited in numerous acts of rioting and violence in America, since 2014, some statements are equivalent to an act of violence, especially if they target socialist pet projects like “affirmative action” and “welfare”. Using their twisted logic, if there isn’t any difference between words and action — if “Oppressive speech … is violence” as noted by Nobel Prize author Toni Morrison — and the use of violence can be exonerated if done in the name of “the right ideas”, then the El Paso shooter would have been in the right, if only he hadn’t targeted innocent civilians and he had targeted those officials he believed to be responsible for our situation.

After the deadly incident at Charlottesville last August, the white supremacists were condemned for their violence, by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, but not even a peep of condemnation was ever directed towards the extremely violent Antifa, which evidently was using force for “the right reasons”.

The Left and Antifa have long adopted the philosophy that an argument is as bad as a fist, so a fist is as good as an argument, and currently, the Alt-Right embraces that same philosophy. Antifa hates the profit-seeking corporations and wants an all-powerful, authoritarian socialist state, ruled by the proletariat. The Alt-Right hate immigrants and racial minorities and advocate an all-powerful fascist state, ruled by white nationalists. Both hate capitalism and our system based on the primacy of the individual, independence and individual rights — the system that opposes collectivism — the system that rejects the initiation of force and the system that has historically always legitimately stood against the Left and its inherent tyranny.

If the evil of insane, indiscriminate mass shootings is ever to become a thing of the past, whether one is a Christian or not, Americans must return to the teachings and early principles, that were based on solid Judeo-Christian principles, simply because they teach people to be good and righteous. The value of reason must also be upheld, along with a respect of each other’s right to believe as they wish and speak their minds, so long as they do not step on another’s same rights or infringe on one’s liberty, without any just cause based on a criminal act. Whatever their reasons, the fact that all three targeted innocent civilians makes all three shooters the worse kind of evil, despicable, and reprehensible of cowards, who are surely all on their way to busting the Gates of Hell wide open … although the live one’s final judgement day is still a bit far off.

As Mulvaney would later add: “There’s no benefit here trying to make this a political issue. This is a social issue.”

But anyone paying attention full well understands that along with the mentally ill, who are a part of the equation and dynamics, this absolutely is a political issue. One half the population is determined to eradicate the Constitution and the Founding principles in favor of anti-freedom authoritarian socialism and tyranny, and the other half is more than determined to defend our beloved America’s Founding Principles and freedom and liberty at any cost. And this cannot be resolved without one side or the other deciding the other side is actually right and giving up the fight. The nation must largely choose one path or the other — Unite — because it cannot serve two different and antithetical ideologies and remain a republic; and without a peaceful solution, the nation will see great civil strife and, in due time, civil war. We Knew Morality

Once upon a time long ago, men of valor who credited God Almighty as the source Natural Rights that no man has the authority to dissolve; won independence from an oppressive government. Those men of valor set out to find the best government for its citizens in which the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness would be ordained to ‘We the People’ and protected by a good government that operated on behalf and behest of the People under the Judeo-Christian principles of the Almighty Creator.

Then the evil virus – Secular Humanism – infected the good government diluting the morals of We the American People of the United States of America.

Government gridlock ensued after Secular Humanist morality has been slowly overpowering the People who still stand behind the Natural Rights endued by our Creator as opposed to elite-men (and women) who stand behind the dictates of a tyrannical government dictating to the People what is right and wrong.

We Knew Morality

Nothing in U.S. history has ever happened that can legitimately justify restricting Americans’ natural and God-granted right to self-defense, in any manner, and to arm themselves towards that purpose, including mass shootings at our schools. To the contrary, these atrocious and horrible events show precisely the reason America must reject the far-left Democrats’ and liberal Christians’ insistence on “gun free” zones and more gun control, since the real problem is found in a society that has embraced every immoral act imaginable as normal, rejected Our Founders as “racist” conquerors and rejected God in our schools.

One can make any argument one chooses, but guns are only the means of these murderous rampages, not the cause. There is something deeper and diseased in the soul of our society, and it transcends the gun debate.

As usual, the opportunists and gun control apologists wasted not one second to exploit the tragedy of seventeen murdered students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, on February 14th, to pursue stronger gun control measures for political gain; and for all their denials and lies, make no mistake, the anti-gun coalition’s goal is to rid the country of firearms and erode and eventually eradicate the Second Amendment, come hell or high water, through new laws, outright bans, and ultimately the confiscation of firearms in America.

George Skelton, an LA Times journalist, opined shortly after the Parkland, Florida shooting that “mass shootings will continue in this country until we finally ban mass shooting weapons”. This simplistic view fails to note criminals will still acquire these weapons, and it ignores any personal responsibility of the perpetrators.

Despite Chicago’s strict gun laws and its attempts to outlaw firearms in the city altogether, there were more than 4,000 shooting victims in Chicago in 2016, according to NPR. Still to this day, Chicago continues to suffer from a massive number of firearm related crimes.

Most of these murderers are the product of atheistic, secular humanist homes and public schools, which have generally not allowed Judeo-Christian morality any real voice or advocate, and our overly permissive society has enabled them, through moral relativism and Marxist cultural garbage, by blaming society for their troubles. This indoctrination blinds the weak-minded to their own bad choices, to the point that they see nothing wrong with taking a human life, for whatever the reason in their twisted and evil hearts and minds.

Dr. Erwin Lutzer, pastor emeritus of the Moody Memorial Church in Chicago wrote in 1986: “We have not yet seen the final result of humanism in the United States. We are still coasting on the values derived from our Judeo-Christian heritage.” Unfortunately, the immoral philosophy of socialists and their atheistic logic has put the brakes on morality in our country, since 1962, and America is witnessing the tragic results.

The anger and anguish of those who lost family and friends at Parkland, Florida and through other gun violence is understandable, but passion and demands, for the violation of decent law-abiding citizens’ rights and the erosion of individual liberty, are not a substitute for cogent thought and critical analysis. Whether these psychopaths use guns, cars, planes, knives, axes or hammers, murderers will always find something to use as a weapon, as seen across America’s history.

In 1927, a disgruntled teacher detonated over five-hundred pounds of TNT at Bath Consolidated School, in Bath, Michigan, killing 44 people. This wasn’t the first bombing in America’s history either; there was the 1886 Haymarket Square bombing in Chicago, that killed eight, and there was also the 1920 Manhattan bombing that killed thirty people.

Recently, Reverend Paul Blair, a Baptist minister with Reclaiming America for Christ, made the following pointed observation: “In the school parking lot, every fourth car was a pickup truck, most of which had a rifle rack in the back window, a deer rifle hung on the rack and the windows rolled down. We never heard of such a thing as a school shooting. We knew right from wrong. We knew morality. Most of the students went to church as did most of our teachers.”

On February 22nd, Wayne LaPierre, executive vice-president of the National Rifle Association, spoke before the Conservative Political Action Conference, stating: “Evil walks among us, and God help us if we don’t arm our schools and protect our kids … To stop a bad guy with a gun, it takes a good guy with a gun.”

At the same American Conservative Union CPAC meeting, Dana Loesch stated: “The government can’t keep you safe, and some people want us to give up our firearms and rely solely upon the protection of the same government that’s already failed us numerous times … “.

No matter one’s position on firearms, if communities really want to protect their children, they must place trained and fully capable, proven, armed guards in our schools, not spectators and cowards such as Scot Peterson [PoliceOne.com sums up plusses & minuses], a guard at Stoneman Douglas, who stood outside the school for four minutes and did nothing. We must make certain any potential mass murderer understands that schools are no longer “gun free” zones, and hard righteous men and women stand prepared to end their life with extreme prejudice.

I Timothy 5:8 says a man who “does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household” has “denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever”. How much worse is the man who would allow his family to be violated and murdered in his presence? Or stand outside a school as a slaughter ensues?

Commanded by Jesus to love our neighbor as ourselves, if we fail to do everything we possibly can to protect the innocent, are we truly seeking to obey these red-letter words?

Aside from all the aforementioned, our right to stand against any tyrannical government, foreign and domestic, presents the foremost reason Americans’ must retain our right to own high capacity semi-automatic weapons. While Christians are not to engage in vengeance, the right to self-defense is as ingrained in the history of God’s people as it is in that of humanity, from America’s War for Independence to resistance and revolts against Nazi Socialism and Communism. And, if not for good people using arms to defend themselves against evil people and especially evil governments, no freedom would exist on earth today.

Mass murders won’t be stopped in America by banning guns, but they might be slowed or halted by ensuring all children reach adulthood with substantive hope, meaning and purpose in their lives, beyond immediate and material satisfaction. We can no longer allow our children to be dragged under by the ongoing nihilistic currents in our society, that hold nothing matters, nothing is good, and nothing is evil, and all is centered on self.

The solution lies in advancing absolute truths in our schools once again, and God’s truth, too.

I was thinking of the Seth Rich murder and the dubious way the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) of Washington D.C. are investigating said murder and I ran into this photo of Crooked Hillary pointing a gun. The post is on the G+ Community Liberals Are Destroying America. Here is a direct quote of the caption introducing the photo:

The person credited with posting the photo is Moshe Borisoff. I don’t know if the name is authentic or a pseudonym. Either way, AWESOME POST Moshe! I added the text to the photo.

Frankly, I am unsure Moshe if had Seth Rich in mind or the alleged mysterious Clinton body count of people that might have been able to testify against Slick Willie and wife Crooked Hillary over the years of scandalous and potential crimes stretching prior to the Governor’s house, through the White House and afterwards.

Homosexuality & Islam in Light of the Orlando Massacre

The Orlando Massacre conducted by the Muslim Omar Mateen opens all sorts controversial issues among the American people.

Among my fellow Conservatives it was an easy guess before details were released. it was another Muslim on a killing spree in which President Barack Hussein Obama would not acknowledge Islamic terrorism.

Among the Leftists the massacre was all about gun control and those crazy Right Wingers insisting the 2^nd Amendment allowing citizens to arm themselves to the teeth for protection.

Of course those to knee jerk reactions probably have some middle ground in which of course I lean more toward pro-2^nd Amendment Conservatives. (We who believe the government has become a huge albatross rather than a limited government. We simply do not trust how big government hijacks individual Liberty.)

The Orlando Massacre has evolved into so much more than the first knee jerk reactions of the Left and Right. We can add to the controversial list:

Homosexual activism vs. Christian Morality.

Muslim immigration (even though Mateen was a natural born American of Afghan parentage) vs. Homeland Security.

Are so-called Muslim moderates condemning the massacre out Taqiyya (deception) to America’s non-Muslim majority while secretly praising the statutes of Islamic Sharia and Allah’s will toward homosexuals?

Is ISIS directly pulling terrorist puppet strings among young Muslim immigrants and homegrown Muslims?

Are Muslims in America (citizen or not) following the Caliphate agenda that is propagated by more than just ISIS? Such as the Muslim Brotherhood and affiliates, Wahhabi proponents, various foreign Salafist groups and the Twelver Shias of Iran. In this case the issue is the S. Constitution Liberties vs. Caliphate Sharia Law.

Biblical Christians vs. Progressive Christians on defining morality based on the Bible vs. Modern Humanistic Multicultural mores.

These are just some issues off the top of my head, I am confident you could add to this list.

I’d like to address two issues that I am constantly criticized for by the Left. Those two issues are the epithetical words Homophobia and Islamophobia.

The literal meaning of those words is something I find umbrage with, which is likely one reason Leftists love to cast the words as grenades designed to shut someone up.

A Homophobe literally is one who has an unnatural fear of homosexuals. And an Islamophobe is one who has an unnatural fear of Muslims or the Islamic theopolitical religion. Most dictionaries take the epithet version that may run something like hatred, fear, prejudice and so on toward homosexuals or Muslims.

Let’s define phobia to get to my point.

The Free Dictionary Phobia definitions:

A persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear of a specific thing or situation that compels one to avoid it, despite theawareness and reassurance that it is not dangerous.

An excessive, unreasoning fear of water, for example, may be based on a forgotten childhood experience of almost drowning. The point is a phobia has more to do with fear and anxiety than hatred and prejudice. I neither have fear nor anxiety around homosexuals and Muslims (except perhaps in cases of the threat of physical violence which certainly comes from both groups when their agenda or ideology has openly been criticized.) Neither do I hate homosexuals and Muslims. However, there might be some benign prejudice against both groups but not for their lifestyles or beliefs. Rather my prejudice stems from both groups having militant factions that castigate Christianity.

Among homosexual activists their hate is seen in imposing their lifestyle to point forcing a Christian to submit to accepting the homosexuality even though specifically condemned by the Word of God.

Among Muslims, their considered holy and revered writings specifically call out Jews and Christians (aka People of the Book in the Quran) as people to despise and kill if they do not submit to the supremacy of Islam.

Homosexuality and the Bible

The Bible is fairly specific that only amending the words changes the intended meanings. (But Leftist-oriented people enjoy changing Original Intent [See Also HERE] wording to imposed Humanistic evolving meanings.)

Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:24, 26-28; 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 (NKJV)

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

After reading these Holy Scriptures, Homosexuals typically hurl profanity my way in the comment section or the more civilized Homosexuals begin a lecture telling me I am bigoted in no uncertain terms. I never receive the animosity of condemnation from homosexuals because – well, the Creator of all that exists spoke the Words. I just shared them. Their real problem is not being accepted by the Creator so typically they deny the Creator exists or vainly attempt to redefine the Original Intent of God’s Word.

If you are subject to any action separating you from God Almighty in Christ and have read down this far, you are probably interested in this Good News that we can all be Redeemed through the same Resurrection power that raised our Lord from the dead. If that be the case I encourage you to read Romans chapters 1-16. Herein is the true Love of God that unfortunately longtime Christians too often forget themselves.

I realize that contrasting the homosexual lifestyle with Biblical Morality smacks of Christian Supremacism. The thing is the Christian Supremacism I advocate is absolutely non-violent. When a person claiming to be a Christian responds to the homosexual lifestyle with violence, that is just as ungodly as homosexuality. The only justification for violence is self-defense against violent actions.

Which leads me to the difference between Christian Supremacism and Islamic Supremacism.

Christianity vs. Islam

The difference between Christian (i.e. Biblical) Supremacism and Islamic Supremacism is that Christians are to share the Good News of the Redemptive act of Jesus Christ the Son of God in which hearer freely chooses to believe or disbelieve with no consequence until the Last Judgment. After sifting through all the abrogated suras of the Quran, Muslims share the supremacy of their Prophet and their deity Allah and if you choose reject the Muslim invitation you have three Quranic choices: Convert, not convert but acknowledge Islam is superior to your beliefs OR die.

Here are some annotated Quran suras that highlight how Muslims are to treat Jews, Christians and polytheists from The Religion of Peace:

Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing… but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)” (Translation is from the Noble Quran) The verse prior to this (190) refers to “fighting for the cause of Allah those who fight you” leading some to believe that the entire passage refers to a defensive war in which Muslims are defending their homes and families. The historical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, however, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries. In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did). Verse 190 thus means to fight those who offer resistance to Allah’s rule (ie. Muslim conquest). The use of the word “persecution” by some Muslim translators is disingenuous (the actual Arabic words for persecution – “idtihad” – and oppression – a variation of “z-l-m” – do not appear in the verse). The word used instead, “fitna”, can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief or temptation. This is certainly what is meant in this context since the violence is explicitly commissioned “until religion is for Allah” – ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.

Quran (3:56) – “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.”

Quran (3:151) – “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”. This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be ‘joining companions to Allah’).

Quran (4:89) – “They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”

Quran (5:33) – “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”

Quran (8:12) – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them” No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle.

Quran (8:39) – “And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah” Some translations interpret “fitna” as “persecution”, but the traditional understanding of this word is not supported by the historical context (See notes for 2:193). The Meccans were simply refusing Muhammad access to their city during Haj. Other Muslims were allowed to travel there – just not as an armed group, since Muhammad had declared war on Mecca prior to his eviction. The Meccans were also acting in defense of their religion, since it was Muhammad’s intention to destroy their idols and establish Islam by force (which he later did). Hence the critical part of this verse is to fight until “religion is only for Allah”, meaning that the true justification of violence was the unbelief of the opposition. According to the Sira (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 324) Muhammad further explains that “Allah must have no rivals.”

Quran (8:57) – “If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.”

Quran (8:67) – “It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land…”

Quran (9:5) – “So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them.” According to this verse, the best way of staying safe from Muslim violence at the time of Muhammad was to convert to Islam: prayer (salat) and the poor tax (zakat) are among the religion’s Five Pillars. The popular claim that the Quran only inspires violence within the context of self-defense is seriously challenged by this passage as well, since the Muslims to whom it was written were obviously not under attack. Had they been, then there would have been no waiting period (earlier verses make it a duty for Muslims to fight in self-defense, even during the sacred months). The historical context is Mecca after the idolaters were subjugated by Muhammad and posed no threat. Once the Muslims had power, they violently evicted those unbelievers who would not convert.

Quran (9:14) – “Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people.” Humiliating and hurting non-believers not only has the blessing of Allah, but it is ordered as a means of carrying out his punishment and even “healing” the hearts of Muslims.

Quran (9:29) – “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” “People of the Book” refers to Christians and Jews. According to this verse, they are to be violently subjugated, with the sole justification being their religious status. Verse 9:33 tells Muslims that Allah has charted them to make Islam “superior over all religions. “This chapter was one of the final “revelations” from Allah and it set in motion the tenacious military expansion, in which Muhammad’s companions managed to conquer two-thirds of the Christian world in the next 100 years. Islam is intended to dominate all other people and faiths.

Quran (17:16) – “And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction.” Note that the crime is moral transgression, and the punishment is “utter destruction.” (Before ordering the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden first issued Americans an invitation to Islam).

Quran (25:52) – “Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness…” “Strive against” is Jihad – obviously not in the personal context. It’s also significant to point out that this is a Meccan verse.

Quran (33:60-62) – “If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbors in it but a little while. Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter.” This passage sanctions the slaughter (rendered “merciless” and “horrible murder” in other translations) against three groups: Hypocrites (Muslims who refuse to “fight in the way of Allah” (3:167) and hence don’t act as Muslims should), those with “diseased hearts” (which include Jews and Christians 5:51-52), and “alarmists” or “agitators who include those who merely speak out against Islam, according to Muhammad’s biographers. It is worth noting that the victims are to be sought out by Muslims, which is what today’s terrorists do. If this passage is meant merely to apply to the city of Medina, then it is unclear why it is included in Allah’s eternal word to Muslim generations.

Quran (47:3-4) – “Those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord… So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah’s Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives)… If it had been Allah’s Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost.” Those who reject Allah are to be killed in Jihad. The wounded are to be held captive for ransom. The only reason Allah doesn’t do the dirty work himself is to to test the faithfulness of Muslims. Those who kill pass the test.

Trust me there is more in website list of the Quran. I tried to focus on Islam’s perspective on non-Muslims, but the website also addresses violence against Muslims who apostate their religion or do not properly follow its directives. Then The Religion of Peace examines violence against non-Muslims found in the revered (but not considered words of Allah via Mohammed) writings of the Hadith and Sira.

Now if directed violence against Jews, Christians and polytheists is not bad enough, there are the Quranic suras that blaspheme Christianity in particular (But again the New Testament does not command to render for evil but only in self-defense from physical violence).

The centrality of Christian faith is that Jesus is the Son of God born from a human vessel Mary who at the time was a virgin. Thus Jesus is fully God and fully man in nature. Jesus’ divine nature made him the perfect sacrifice to pay for Adam’s fall and reunite humanity with God Almighty. (Yes, I’m aware my Jewish friends disagree with this, but they don’t want to kill me over our disagreement) That sacrifice was seen in Jesus unjustly accused of crimes he didn’t commit and being killed on the Cross. THEN three days later the Power of the Father resurrects the Son in bodily form clothed with the Divine glory Jesus had before he was incarnated as a human in Mary’s womb.

Christians disagree on various points but the above is what all sects and Denominations agree on as a matter of faith in God’s Grace in Jesus Christ. So what does the Quran say about the central faith of Christianity? From a Christian perspective it is blasphemous:

JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD

The Qu’ran clearly states that Allah has NO son.

“They say, ‘God has begotten a son.’ God forbid! Self-sufficient is He. His is all that the heavens and the earth contain. Surely for this you have no sanction. Whould you say of God what you know not?” — Qur’an 10:68

“Such was Jesus, the son of Mary. That is the whole truth, which they still doubt. God forbid that He Himself should beget a son! When He decrees a thing He need only say: ‘Be,’ and it is.” —Qur’an 19:35

“Those who say: ‘The Lord of Mercy has begotten a son,’ preach a monstrous falsehood, at which the very heavens might crack, the earth break asunder, and the mountains crumble to dust. That they should ascribe a son to the Merciful, when it does not become the Lord of Mercy to beget one!” — Qur’an 19:88

“Never has God begotten a son, nor is there any other god besides Him. Were this otherwise, each god would govern his own creation, each holding himself above the other. Exalted be God above their falsehoods!” — Qur’an 23:91

Quran on Death and Resurrection

Quran 4:156-158 (SAHIH INTERNATIONAL)

And [We cursed them] for their disbelief and their saying against Mary a great slander, And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

There Islamic theologians that have developed a view of a substitution theory in that Judas was crucified in place of Jesus. Which includes a later death of Jesus and “Allah” raising the natural death body of Jesus into Islam’s heaven. Here are some excerpts:

… Even so, the Jews were not satisfied, and they went to the king of Damascus at that time, a Greek polytheist who worshipped the stars. They told him that there was a man in Bayt Al-Maqdis misguiding and dividing the people in Jerusalem and stirring unrest among the king’s subjects. The king became angry and wrote to his deputy in Jerusalem to arrest the rebel leader, stop him from causing unrest, crucify him and make him wear a crown of thorns. When the king’s deputy in Jerusalem received these orders, he went with some Jews to the house that `Isa was residing in, and he was then with twelve, thirteen or seventeen of his companions. That day was a Friday, in the evening. They surrounded `Isa in the house, and when he felt that they would soon enter the house or that he would sooner or later have to leave it, he said to his companions, “Who volunteers to be made to look like me, for which he will be my companion in Paradise” A young man volunteered, but `Isa thought that he was too young. He asked the question a second and third time, each time the young man volunteering, prompting `Isa to say, “Well then, you will be that man.” Allah made the young man look exactly like `Isa, while a hole opened in the roof of the house, and `Isa was made to sleep and ascended to heaven while asleep. Allah said,

(And (remember) when Allah said: “O `Isa! I will take you and raise you to Myself.”) When `Isa ascended, those who were in the house came out. When those surrounding the house saw the man who looked like `Isa, they thought that he was `Isa. So they took him at night, crucified him and placed a crown of thorns on his head. The Jews then boasted that they killed `Isa and some Christians accepted their false claim, due to their ignorance and lack of reason. As for those who were in the house with `Isa, they witnessed his ascension to heaven, while the rest thought that the Jews killed `Isa by crucifixion. They even said that Maryam sat under the corpse of the crucified man and cried, and they say that the dead man spoke to her. All this was a test from Allah for His servants out of His wisdom. Allah explained this matter in the Glorious Qur’an which He sent to His honorable Messenger, whom He supported with miracles and clear, unequivocal evidence. …

Tafsir al-Jalalayn is one of the most significant tafsirs for the study of the Qur’an. … Tafsir al-Jalalayn is generally regarded as one of the most easily accessible works of Qur’anic exegesis because of its simple style and one volume length. …

Al-Jalalayn on [Quran] 4:157

… And yet they did not slay him nor did they crucify him, but he, the one slain and crucified, who was an associate of theirs [the Jews], was given the resemblance, of Jesus. In other words, God cast his [Jesus’s] likeness to him and so they thought it was him [Jesus]. And those who disagree concerning him, that is, concerning Jesus, are surely in doubt regarding, the slaying of him, for some of them said, when they saw the slain man: the face is that of Jesus, but the body is not his, and so it is not he; and others said: no, it is he. They do not have any knowledge of, the slaying of, him, only the pursuit of conjecture … (Tafsir Al Jalalayn on 4:157)

As pointed out elsewhere on Answering-Islam (*), there is disagreement on who substituted Christ:

“1. God made someone look like Jesus who was then crucified in the place of Christ. This is known as the substitution theory, but this interpretation is beset with many problems. First, who in fact was made to look like Christ? Muslims were not unanimous:

A. Some say that it was Judas.

B. Others say it was one of Jesus’ disciples.

C. Still others say that it was a Roman soldier named Titawus.”

The Swoon Theory

2. Jesus was crucified but did not die. He swooned on the cross and later recovered.

Although the swoon theory is held mainly by the Ahmaddiyas and the Nation of Islam, groups that are considered heretical, there are also orthodox Sunni Muslims who have adopted this theory as well. The most famous Sunni to adopt and embrace this view for polemical purposes is Ahmed Deedat.

Akbarally Meherally is another one who has decided to embrace this theory (Article 1, Article 2). Meherally even goes so far as to deny the substitution theory.

Muslim apologist Shabir Ally tried to defend this theory (quite unsuccessfully I might add) in his debate with Dr. William Lane Craig, “Did Jesus of Nazareth Physically Rise from the Dead?”, held on Monday, March 4, 2003 at the University of Toronto. …

The Legend Theory

3. The crucifixion didn’t even happen but was a later invention/legend. The late Muhammad Asad held this view:

Thus, the Qur’an categorically denies the story of the crucifixion of Jesus. There exist, among Muslims, many FANCIFUL LEGENDS telling us that at the last moment God substituted for Jesus a person closely resembling him (according to some accounts, that person was Judas), who was subsequently crucified in his place. However, none of these LEGENDS finds the slightest support in the Qur’an or in authentic Traditions, and the stories produced in this connection by the classical commentators must be summarily rejected. They represent no more than confused attempts at “harmonizing” the Qur’anic statement that Jesus was not crucified with the graphic description, in the Gospels, of his crucifixion. The story of the crucifixion as such has been succinctly explained in the Qur’anic phrase wa-sakin shubbiha lahum, which I render as “but it only appeared to them as if it had been so” – implying that in the course of time, long after the time of Jesus, a legend had somehow grown up (possibly under the then-powerful influence of Mithraistic beliefs) to the effect that he had died on the cross in order to atone for the “original sin” with which mankind is allegedly burdened; and this legend became so firmly established among the latter-day followers of Jesus that even his enemies, the Jews, began to believe it – albeit in a derogatory sense (for crucifixion was, in those times, a heinous form of death-penalty reserved for the lowest of criminals). … (see Qamas, art. khayala, as well as Lane II, 833, and IV, 1500). Yeah, I don’t care whichever Muslim tells you the Allah of the Quran is the same as God Almighty of the Bible. The discrepancies and the time period that Mohammed lived in simply discredits Quran as at the very least a collection of Mohammed sayings he copied to entice Jews and Christians to accept him as a Prophet and enough Arab theo-philosophy to convince medieval Arab minds that there must be something to this desert pirate – after all he keeps winning and supplying his adherents with blood-bought booty.

I have some Good News for Muslim adherents. That news is the exact same as that above to those who choose a homosexual lifestyle. Makes Jesus Christ the Son of God, Who arose from the dead to everlasting life on the third after His Crucifixion and now sits at the right hand of the Father making continuous intercession on behalf who believe on Him as their Lord – one of the three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Who is ONE GOD.

Profiling Harper-Mercer via Media Sources

Chris Harper-Mercer is the latest mass murderer giving fuel to the leftist dream of disarming all Americans. Which we all should know would mean Americans would be an even easier target for lunatics like Harper-Mercer who wouldn’t have to worry about buying a gun a legally if he so chose to kill unarmed unprotected Americans such as those shot and killed at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon.

When I first heard on the news that a spree-killer was targeting Christians for death by shooting them in the head who so identified themselves, my first thought was that another psycho-Muslim was on the loose in America. As more information has flowed in it has become apparent that Harper-Mercer was a lunatic most likely of the fringe Right. Just to be clear Harper-Mercer was not affiliated with Conservatives that the SPLC often mislabels as the fringe Right (Gun Rights groups, Family Values Christians, Counterjihad writers and so on). Rather Harper-Mercer was attracted to the actual fringe Right such as Nazis, Christian-haters, Jew-Haters and so forth.

I place Harper-Mercer among the fringe Right based on some logical guesses from media investigations looking at the killer’s web history leading to some fairly intelligent guesses. I suspect as the authorities investigate further some more relevant details will emerge. They’ll ignore that Chris Harper-Mercer, the 26-year-old shooter, had one of two friends who was apparently an Islamic terrorist-in-waiting.

They’ll ignore that this man was a crazed loner, who was a fan of Nazi propaganda and “supported the IRA.”

His username on a dating website was “ironcross45,” clearly a reference to the Nazi symbol.

Here’s What We Know About Shooter Who Targeted Christians at Oregon College

The gunman who killed at least nine people and wounded seven at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore., has been identified as 26-year-old Chris Harper Mercer, law enforcement sources confirmed to Fox News.

Police have said little about Harper Mercer’s background or his motive for the attack.

There is a heavy law enforcement presence outside Harper Mercer’s home, and authorities are running his name against terror watch lists, in addition to combing through his email history, phone logs and social media footprint.

According to witnesses, he lined up students in a classroom and asked their religion. Those who answered Christian were shot in the head, while those who answered another religion or did not answer were shot in the legs.

A MySpace page in his name contains photos of IRA gunmen and points to support for the organization.

In an online dating profile, the shooter purportedly identified himself as a “conservative Republican” and expressed a disdain for organized religion, Daily Beast reported. He also specified that he was in college, lived with his parents and did not drink, smoke or do drugs.

According to CBS News, the shooter wrote a blog post about Vester Flanagan, who fatally shot a Virginia news reporter and a cameraman in August.

Chris Harper-Mercer, the gunman who went on Thursday’s rampage at an Oregon college, idolized the Nazis and the IRA, despised organized religion — and talked of how killing could bring a person fame.

A profile on an online dating site, Spiritual Passions, shows the 26-year-old Harper-Mercer “doesn’t like organized religion” and identified as a “conservative Republican.”

On his MySpace page, he posted a number of pictures related to the Irish Republican Army.

“He appears to be an angry young man who was very filled with hate,” one source told The New York Times.

Harper-Mercer, who lived in Winchester, Ore., identified himself as mixed race. On the dating site, he wrote that he does not smoke or drink.

His name on the site was Ironcross45, alluding to a Nazi military badge.

Police in Oregon have identified the gunman who opened fire at a college on Thursday, killing 10 people, as Chris Harper-Mercer.

The 26-year-old, whose social media profiles featured content supporting the IRA, apparently demanded to know his victims’ religious beliefs before opening fire at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon.

He left behind a complex web of online identities which offer a possible insight into his personality – or at least a glimpse of the way he wanted to present himself to the world.

He maintained a myspace page, on which he posted a photograph of himself holding what appears to be a rifle, alongside images of masked IRA gunmen.

Obsession with Nazis

He offered the fullest description of himself on an online dating profile, saying he was “shy at first, but warm up quickly, better in small groups”. He also said he was not religious but was “spiritual” and described his political views as conservative.

His username on the dating site Spiritual Passions was ironcross45 – a handle often used by far-Right sympathisers in reference to the German military symbol reintroduced by the Nazis.

He was also linked, via the username Lithium_Love, to a video upload site, where he also posted about Vester Flanagan, the former TV reporter who shot dead two former colleagues live on air.

Opposition to religion

During the attack he apparently asked victims whether they were Christians.

According to Kortney Moore, 18, the shooter told people to reveal their religion during the rampage. She had been in her writing class when her teacher was shot in the head.

A woman who said her grandmother was inside Snyder Hall, where part of the attack took place, described what happened in a tweet.

The gunman has a British father, Ian Mercer, who is aged in his mid-50s and from the north-west of England.

Late Thursday evening, police named 26-year-old Chris Harper Mercer as the man who shot and killed at least nine students, many of them women, at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon.

On another profile likely created by Mercer residing on the site Spiritual Passions, Mercer identified his ethnicity as “mixed race,” his interests as “internet, killing zombies, movies, music, reading,” and his political affiliation as “conservative Republican.” He also noted that he lived with his parents and never wanted children. His music interests were listed as “Industrial, Punk, Rock.”

One family member told the Daily Beast that Mercer’s father is white and his mother is black, but when he “came into the world, his birth father was not in the picture.”

On his apparent Spiritual Passions account, he also apparently reveals his distaste for religion. Not only does this page say he is “not religious” — but is “spiritual”– it also lays claim to the “Left-Hand Path” as a group that interested him.

The Left-Hand Path is an idea often equated with the occult and is said to manifest itself in “malicious Black magic.”

Local news quotes eyewitnesses as saying that Mercer ordered victims to identify their religion before firing; one Twitter user claiming to be a witness said that if students identified themselves as Christians, he shot them in the head.

Father of Umpqua college shooting victim: Gunman singled out Christians

Roseburg, Oregon (CNN) The gunman who opened fire at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College singled out Christians, according to the father of a wounded student.

Before going into spinal surgery, Anastasia Boylan told her father the gunman entered her classroom firing.

“I’ve been waiting to do this for years,” the gunman told the professor teaching the class. He shot him point blank, Boylan recounted.

“He was a little odd, like sensitive to things,” said Rebecca Miles, who took a theater class with Mercer.

Throughout Thursday night, investigators talked to the gunman’s family and neighbors to try to piece together the puzzle.

Another neighbor, Steven Fisher, described him as “skittish.”

“His demeanor, the way he moved, always looking around,” Fisher said. “I got a bad vibe from him.”
