By now after nearly three years of Dem Party/MSM lies about President Trump, you have to be wondering what in the world is the reason the American Left so yearns to impeach a President certified by a large majority of States represented in the Constitution’s established Electoral College? The ONLY reason for not wondering would be the gullibility of believing lie after lie from Dems such as Speaker Pelosi, House Intel Chairman Adam (Shifty) Schiff, House Judicial Chairman Jerry Nadler, Senator Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, Senator Pocahontas Warren, the Lyin’ Suicide Squad, Rep. Mad Maxine Walters and the like ilk of Dems and MSM.

 

Not one of those lies used as an excuse to impeach Trump has wrung true. YET even now phone Dem/Intel Whistleblower operators are manifesting like cockroaches in the shadows with secondhand claims and unsubstantiated firsthand claims. AND I emphasize “UNSUBSTANTIATED” because of the Dem demand to protect the identity of accusers to mask any credible authenticity.

 

If you are a wonderer as I am, one reason is emerging that you will NEVER hear or read reliably from the Dem Propaganda MSM. Namely the purpose for years of defaming President Trump is to hide the criminal behavior of the Dems from at least the Obama years through the 2016 election cycle as well as the MSM colluding with Dems to cover up that criminal behavior. AND the basic tool in this Leftist coverup is the art of the smear, the lie and the manufactured acts to discredit. It’s a classic magician’s trick of the hope the hand is quicker than the eye.

Why Dems not pushing for ‘impeach’ vote

Impeachment has been an obsession of President Trump’s critics since before he even took office.

 

And now Democrats, interpreting the president’s telephone call with the president of Ukraine as a “quid pro quo,” say they have the grounds to impeach.

 

So why have they not held a full House vote on impeachment and instead are conducting an “impeachment inquiry.”

 

Because of internal Republican polling, according to NPR’s Susan Davis.

 

On Twitter she wrote that the National Republican Congressional Committee “briefed House GOP on private polling conducted Oct. 1-3 in 95 districts (55D /40 GOP).”

 

“Don’t expect any cracks in GOP unity: memo concludes voters ‘are much more willing to vote for a GOP candidate opposing impeachment than a Democrat supporting it.'”

 

The Twitter news aggregator Twitchy commented: “Democrats seem to know that as well, which is why all the talk of impeachment hasn’t yet moved along any formal votes being called.”

 

The Hill reported the White House planned to send House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., a letter urging her to hold an impeachment vote.

 

“By sending Pelosi the letter, Trump and the White House are aiming to force House Democrats in toss-up districts to take a formal stance on impeachment,” Axios noted.

 

“Republican sources say that even as the chamber’s minority party, GOP lawmakers can have a greater say in impeachment hearings and other parts of an inquiry once the full chamber formally approves it,” the report said.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., already has dared the Democrats to vote.

 

Warned Twitchy, “The Dems may well also know they’re sitting on a potentially epic backfire.”

 

The Democrats have been lobbying for impeachment since before Trump took office. They’ve tried claims such as collusion with Russia, obstruction and corruption. Their latest is that the president threatened to withhold military aid if Ukraine didn’t investigate Hunter Biden’s financial bonanza from a Ukrainian natural gas company while his father Joe Biden was the Obama administration’s point man for the country. Trump contends the withholding of military aid was unrelated and he had a right to discuss serious corruption allegations relevant to Ukraine and the United States.

 

One radical Democrat, Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, announced at her election party that she was going to Washington to “impeach the m———–.”

 

Pelosi for months had resisted moving on impeachment, claiming she wanted to see the evidence first.

 

She also is aware that the impeachment of Democratic President Bill Clinton backfired on House Republicans.

An audio recording obtained by the conservative radio and television network TheBlaze appears to show a top Ukrainian official admitting to trying to damage Donald Trump’s campaign in a bid to help Hillary Clinton.

 

You’ll recall in August 2016, then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort resigned his post following the revelation of his past lobbying work for pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarchs.

 

Politico reported at the time, “In recent days, Manafort had lost the confidence of Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and one of his closest advisers, and other members of Trump’s family, according to a source close to the campaign.”

 

“The family was particularly troubled by reports of Manafort’s involvement with Russia and felt he hadn’t been entirely forthright about his activities overseas, the source said,” the news outlet added.

 

In an audio recording obtained by TheBlaze, Artem Sytnyk, director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, who was tried and convicted in Ukraine for interfering in the U.S. presidential election in 2016, can be heard bragging about his work to friends “Kolya” and “Ivan.”

 

On Friday, conservative commentator Glenn Beck, who founded TheBlaze, shared a translation of the tape.

 

“Did they, those Russians, help Trump? Your people?” Kolya asks.

 

“I think they did. Yeah. I helped him, too. Not him, but Hillary. I helped her,” Sytnyk responds.

 

“I was in charge of the investigation of their ‘black accounting’ records. We made the Manafort’s data available to general public,” Sytnyk later says.

 

“So what?” Kolya asked.

 

“He was imprisoned,” Sytnyk answers. “Manafort then was the head of the Supreme Headquarter of Trump, right? Then he was dismissed, too, including due to the ‘black accounting.’ After that, he was sentenced to 80 years of imprisonment term.”

 

According to Beck, the Democratic National Committee was working with the Ukrainian government through a Democratic operative named Alexandra Chalupa.

 

Andrii Telizhenko, the Ukrainian embassy political officer stationed at the country’s embassy in the U.S. at the time, stated that the Ukrainians “were coordinating an investigation with the Hillary team on Paul Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa” and that “the embassy worked very closely with” Chalupa.

 

Beck pointed to an email made public by WikiLeaks between Chalupa and Louise Miranda at the DNC.

 

“Hey, a lot coming down the pipe. I spoke to a delegation of 68 investigative journalists from Ukraine last night at the Library of Congress, the Open World Society forum. They put me on the program to speak specifically about Paul Manafort,” Chalupa wrote.

 

“I invited (American journalist) Michael Isikoff, who I’ve been working with for the past few weeks, and connected him to the Ukrainians,” she added.

 

“More offline tomorrow, since there was a big Trump component you and Lauren need to be aware of that will hit in the next few weeks. Something I’m working on that you should be aware of.”

The apparent further verification of Ukraine’s involvement in the 2016 race comes as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her fellow congressional Democrats have opened an impeachment inquiry, alleging President Donald Trump sought the assistance of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

 

Pelosi has accused Trump of delaying military aid in order to pressure Zelensky to open an investigation on Biden and his son Hunter’s alleged corruption.

 

Trump has denied wrongdoing and specifically that there was any quid pro quo, while Zelensky has stated he did not feel pressured by the president’s request.

 

Trump released the Ukrainian aid in mid-September. No investigation had been launched against the Bidens by Ukraine, according to The Associated Press.

 

So let’s get this straight. Pelosi and her Democratic lawmaker political lynch mob are trying to run Trump out of office because he expressed some interest in learning more about the Bidens potential corruption in Ukraine.

 

Meanwhile, they find nothing wrong with the DNC actively obtaining assistance from Ukraine during the closing months of the 2016 presidential campaign that resulted in Trump firing his campaign chairman.

 

It’s perfect Democrat hypocrisy on display.

 

There they go again, accusing Trump of doing the very thing they in fact did.

Over the weekend a new whistleblower, like the first unidentified, generated Monday morning headlines such as: “Second whistleblower emerges in Trump impeachment inquiry, said to be one of ‘multiple’ complainants,” from the Los Angeles Times. CBS News tagged a story “New whistleblower could blow up Trump’s main argument” And then came this: “BOMBSHELL: Audio, Email Evidence Shows DNC Colluded With Ukraine To Boost Hillary By Harming Trump, Report Says,” from Ryan Saavedra on the Daily Wire.

 

According to the story, The Blaze obtained an audio recording with Ukraine anti-corruption boss Artem Sytnyk admitting that he tried to sabotage the campaign of candidate Trump to boost the campaign of Hillary Clinton. Sytnyk’s contact was Alexandra Chalupa of the DNC, a veteran of the Clinton administration. As Askold Kryshelnycky noted in the Kyiv Post last October, “the connection between the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Ukrainian government was veteran Democratic operative Alexandra Chalupa.”

 

According to Saavedra, Andrii Telizhenko of the Ukrainian embassy revealed that the Ukrainians “were coordinating an investigation with the Hillary team on Paul Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa” and that she worked “very closely” with the embassy. In an email to Louise Miranda of the DNC, Chalupa wrote “I invited Michael Isikoff, who I’ve been working with for the past few weeks, and connected him to the Ukrainians. More offline tomorrow, since there was a big Trump component you and Lauren need to be aware of that will hit in the next few weeks. Something I’m working on that you should be aware of.”

 

In the audio obtained by The Blaze, Artem Sytnyk tells someone named Kolya, “I helped her,” that is “Hillary.” Trump has a “purely inner problem” and “didn’t give a shit” about Manafort. On the other  hand, Sytnyk explains, “Hillary, she is – how shall I put it? She belongs to the cohort of politicians who comprise the hegemony in the U.S. Both in the U.S. and the entire world, right? For us, it’s … sort of … better. For Americans … what Trump is doing is better for them.”

 

Readers might wonder why these revelations didn’t get much traction with the establishment media. They might also recall that President Trump revealed the transcript of his own call with Volodymyr Zelensky. In response, Adam Schiff composed lines such as “I have a favor I want from you,” “I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? Lots of dirt on this and that.” And so on, doubtless hoping the television audience would take it for the real thing. Based on his record, viewers have grounds to believe that Schiff probably wrote the complaint of the “whistleblower” and others now allegedly emerging.

 

Based on revelations to date, the faux whistleblowers will be intel types. That is more evidence that POTUS 44, the “composite character” biographer David Garrow described in Rising Star, totally transformed the U.S. intel establishment, foreign and domestic, into a partisan, deep-state strike force. That partisan force exonerated the president’s chosen successor, Hillary Clinton, and framed opponent Donald Trump.

 

That continued through the bogus Mueller probe and now the campaign from Adam Schiff-Nancy Pelosi Productions, in which fake “whistleblowers” reprise the role of dossier composer Christopher Steele. Democrats have good cause to get this show on the road in a hurry.

 

With the 2020 election just around the corner, candidate Joe Biden often seems unsure of his location. Exposed as a fake Cherokee, Elizabeth Warren continues to run, and the others tout open borders and suicide pacts like the Green New Deal. A candidate who can beat Trump seems to have an existential problem, but there’s more to it.

 

Inspector General Michael Horowitz is coming out with a report on FISA abuses. Attorney General William Barr and John Durham are looking into the origins of the deep-state campaign against Trump, jostling with members of the Clinton Coup Clan such as Andrew McCabe, James Comey, James Clapper and John Brennan. It’s all so complicated but a famous movie might help clear things up.

 

In Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, the HAL 9000 computer controls the entire spaceship Discovery One, but astronauts Frank Poole and Dave Bowman find the supposedly infallible HAL to be faulty. HAL uncovers their plot to disconnect him and bumps off Frank. Dave manages to reenter the ship and sets about disconnecting HAL.

 

“Just what do you think you are doing, Dave?” HAL says. Dave ignores him and HAL Protests, “Will you stop, Dave? I’m afraid. I’m afraid, Dave.”

 

In similar style, the Democrats’ intel ubermenschen [Blog Editor: German for supermen, the plural of ubermensch – superman. From Nietzsche’s philosophy] have been running the show and trying to overturn an election. Barr and Durham are looking into it, and like HAL the Democrats are afraid of what they will find. So Schiff-Pelosi Productions rushes out the Ukraine thriller, hoping to remove Trump or taint him beyond repair for 2020.

 

Barr and Durham should ignore the complaints of Brennan, McCabe, Eric Holder et al and keep working three shifts to reveal the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That will be a better show than anything with the Schiff -Pelosi stank all over it.

All the news was focused about the manhunt for the bombing suspects of the Boston Marathon right up until the death of Tamerlan Tsarnaev and the capture later of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Does anyone remember news reports of a detained Saudi national that may have been connected to the Boston Marathon Bombing?

 

I kind of forgot about this Saudi national during the process of Tsarnaev Brothers manhunt. And mysteriously the Mainstream Media also forgot about the Saudi national whose name has been determined to be Abdul al-Harbi (among other spellings and the fuller longer Arabic name).

 

Glen Beck believes he and his Blaze News investigative team have uncovered yet ANOTHER COVER-UP by the Obama Administration relating to Islamic terrorism. You have to admit the detaining, threat of expulsion and then erasing any connection of al-Harbi to the Islamic terrorist bombing of the Boston Marathon smacks of government cover-up because of some high rolling wealthy Saudi connection.

 

According to Media Matters (last paragraph in IBD article today) Beck is full of bologna because al-Harbi has been exonerated. If that were true why is Homeland Security Janet Napolitano stonewalling Beck’s requests for information?

 

It is suspicious that Secretary of State John Kerry met with Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal and President met with Adel al-Jubeir the Saudi Ambassador to the USA then al-Harbi’s importance status was downgraded rapidly to eventually a mere witness that was part of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Why would Saudi big dogs be so interested in securing the release of Abdul al-Harbi marking him down from suspected terrorist to witness? The Obamas – Barack and Michelle – even visited Abdul al-Harbi at the hospital.

 

The lack of public scrutiny about the connection of Abdul al-Harbi (including the al-Harbi clan of Saudi Arabia), Obama Administration and a suspicious Saudi government which has the radical Islam of Wahhabism as the State religion is quite appalling.

 

Does Abdul al-Harbi have nothing to do with the Boston Marathon Bombing? I am guessing at this stage of investigation that is true. If further information comes out that al-Harbi were indeed connected history shows the Obama Administration slither away scot free. On the other hand perhaps al-Harbi indeed has Islamic terrorist connections but was just as surprised anyone that Tsarnaev brothers successfully committed a terrorist act in the name jihad for Allah. Perhaps al-Harbi was a Saudi-USA terrorist infiltrator that had his cover blown by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Perhaps al-Harbi was performing al Qaeda related reconnaissance for an Islamic terrorist attack yet still was the wrong place at the wrong time.

 

There is something definitely OFF about al-Harbi and radical Islam. Unless some slick yet politically incorrect reporter manages to discover the significance of Abdul al-Harbi, his presence at the Boston Marathon Bombing will just go down as a mere footnote in history. Perhaps that is the ultimate hope of the Obama Administration.

Confirmation that Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi, the Saudi national and initial “person of interest,” is indeed being deported this week now is spreading across the Internet. More details are emerging this weekend as Arabic sources and Saudi papers themselves are confirming “rumors” swirling in the US. (more at bottom)

 

Moreover, the Saudi papers are detailing the visit by the Obamas, especially Michelle to the hospital and this man. The “rumors” of the President meeting with Saudi officials in the hospital just prior to his “approved deportation” is a bragging right in their press.

 

More notable is the assertions that Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi is free an (sic) clear of terrorist ties, when in fact over 10 names from his clan are already linked to Al-Qaeda.

 

Many from Al-Harbi’s clan are entrenched in terrorism and are members of Al-Qaeda as identified by the Islamic governements (sic).

Out of a list of 85 terrorists listed by the Saudi government shows several of Al-Harbi clan to have been active fighters in Al-Qaeda:

There are specific Saudi clans that are rife with members of Al-Qaeda, which has fueled critics questions the hundred thousand student visas are issued to these and how ICE officials seem clueless to make the connection with the clans when it comes to terrorism.

 

The BBC reported Khaled Alharbi was married to the daughter of al-Qaida’s number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri. He reportedly appeared with bin Laden in a video praising the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

 

Another top al-Qaida operative is Adel Radi Saqr al-Wahabi al-Harbi, a Saudi national identified by the State Department as “a key member of an al-Qaida network operating in Iran.”

 

The State Department has offered a multimillion-dollar reward for the capture of Abdel Alharbi, saying he is an Iran-based al-Qaida facilitator who serves as the deputy to Muhsin al-Fadhl, who runs al-Qaida’s Iran network.

 

At a site called Sabq, Alharbi’s father talks about how a member of the Aldawsari clan – Ali Aldawsari – visited his son in the hospital. Remember what we wrote about Khalid Aldawsari here:

 

Take Khalid Aldawsari, a Saudi national. He is a student and an Al-Qaeda terrorist who planned to use weapons of mass destruction in the U.S., to include an attempted assassination of president Bush. Okaz, the same prominent Saudi newspaper, that published photos of Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi in the hospital after the Boston marathon bombings, is now reporting that the Saudi national was also visited by the first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama during his hospital stay.

 

CBS News in Boston reported that the first lady visited Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital on Thursday, April 18th:

 

The First Lady went to Boston Children’s Hospital, where she visited the medical and surgical intensive care unit.

 

Afterwards, she went next door to Brigham and Women’s Hospital to meet more victims and their families for more than an hour.

 

The visits were off limits to the media and came on short notice for security reasons.

There were multiple reports that Alharbi was hospitalized at Brigham and Women’s so that would seem corroborate the Okaz report.

 

Okaz stated further that the first lady also visited the other injured Saudi at the hospital, a female doctor named Nura Khalid Saleh al-Ajaji:

 

“Michelle Obama visited the two injured Saudis Abdulrahman Ali Essa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi and Nura Khalid Saleh Al-Ajjaji to check on their medical conditions.”

 

Adding credibility to this report seems to be multiple tweets made by the inner circle of the Al-harbi family:

If there is one thing that Ann Coulter does will it is stirring up emotions and trouble. Her latest book Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama is already off to a good start. She has already managed to set of[f] the women over at The View, especially Whoopi Goldberg, all of whom obviously had not read the book, shocker! Coulter takes a unique topic and takes it where many are afraid to go, the racial circus that the democratic party is abusing taking advantage of. Do Obama and the Environmentalists Really want Society to have Abundance in Fuel or anything else that provides for an economic capital system to Prosper and the people to prosper as well?

 

In any given day the amount of Oil in excess in world reserves is 4 Million barrels , and the world is consuming 86 million barrels a day , considering this is a Global market and the Price of fuel is reflective of the Global demand, then with 1/3rd the oil coming out of the middle east and all the volatility in that region we can see how interruption in that area’s distribution would cause a spike in the price that we in the USA could not manage to keep the free market stable enough that collapse in the market would result .

 

We need an All hands on deck approach, and I think the Algae approach with the extra resource that it produces in the Pulp for food additive in just Livestock feeds and fertilizers let alone the Fiber content this material would bring to the Fiber Industry that could be used for some many things is why the idea of this secondary material being created for No Additional Monetary Investment is a Golden Opportunity for expansion of the Overall supply-side markets.

 

The Suppression of this resource development is coming from two very opposite groups, one being the Oil Industry, and the second is from the Environmentalist side. And the resistance from the environmentalist’s side is a funny one because you world think they would be all for a Green Energy right?? The problem with this is it Empowers a Society to be more self-reliant, and more able to create abundance. These 2 factors are NOT what Environmentalists who have become Marxist Ideologues want to see as an economic Policy for society as a whole, because this in their Point of view is Destroying Earth and they would rather not have any self-reliant individual Prosperity and this is why we have a NO Growth economic recovery underway. And why the Capitalist System is slowly collapsing as the Government funds itself with Federal Reserve Bond buying programs trying to wait this out slowly sucking the cash reserves away from the private sector so that when the economy finally collapses due to No capital expansion from true supply-side expansion growth and tax revenues increasing from that. Then when the S_H_T_F they can say Capitalism failed and we are going to move to a New system. This all in the name of sustainability, but really it is all about Controlling how much people consume.

 

This is the ultimate goal of the Population control experts that make up the Global Elites Think Tanks. This is why we have No true capital growth recovery in our economy system of Capitalism.

 

Here is a story on how the OWS movement is being used to try and bring down Capitalism. OWS is a cover for the Environmentalists who control Obama and all his CZARs, The Czars are ideologues with Obama too, they are creating an environment with this envy of rich wealth Capitalists as the oppressors of society and the destroyers of earth. Along with Regulations, the Obama Administration is setting the stage for Fear to Invade the Minds of Investors who without these powers of Influence effecting their willingness to take risk investments, see these elements and actions as more and More private investors leave the markets. And this makes the Federal Reserve have to buy more and more Bonds to keep the Government funded. This sets the stage for a systematic Economic breakdown, slow and steady, like guiding the Economic ship right towards Land and beaching the Ship. Hopefully the beaching is easy enough that people don’t become unsettled to the point of civil unrest.

There was some incredible audio released over the weekend of a meeting of several union and Occupy Wall Street leaders, including Stephen Lerner, where they pretty much admit that they are looking to bring an end to capitalism because it just can’t co-exist with democracy! Sure, it’s worked ever since America was founded and led to the rise of The United States as a superpower and beacon of hope and freedom for the rest of the world – but that’s not what Occupy Wall Street wants. They and their leaders want us to be just the same as everyone else, and this video reveals that it means an end to capitalism in order to bring about their version of true democracy…aka socialism!

In the video, Lerner says:

 

How do we give workers the confidence? … How do we create a mood in the nation where we’re occupying our workplaces, where we’re shutting down our workplaces? … Where workers are sitting in, where workers are shutting down their places of work, and when the police come, when the injunctions come, we’re all there with them, so we can really deal with part of the reason that the economy’s so screwed up … which is a few people have got all the power. Think stew, think hope, death to the Stockholm Syndrome!

 

“This is what they are now saying out loud,” Glenn said.

 

“I want you to listen to its logical conclusion.  This is exactly what we’ve been saying but being hammered for.  Anybody ‑‑ you could play games and say, ‘Oh, well, that’s not really going to…; but if you use logic and play this out to its logical conclusion, it is the end of capitalism and that’s exactly what he’s saying,” Glenn warned.

 

“Please, America, take these people at their word,” Glenn said.

 

Glenn said that they are starting to develop their own value system, one that replaces capitalism with socialism, and they are trying to impose it on the rest of the country.

 

Breitbart.com adds, “This is where the unions and the Occupy movement and the academy all come together under one big anti-capitalist umbrella. Lerner, representing labor, says that the job of labor is to shut down business; Occupy says that its job is to smash the machines of capitalism; academia provides them the forum to recruit.”

 

In March of last year, Glenn and The Blaze reported on Lerner’s call for people to take action against big banks like JP Morgan Chase. At the time, Glenn said:

 

“You can call it a conspiracy theory, but the language that he uses is already being used by labor leaders and those who are whipping people up into a frenzy in Wisconsin and wait until you see how they are going to use the state and county and local labor unions to do exactly what they did to the housing market.  It’s the same tactic, gang.  The same tactic.  And it ends with the destruction of the economic system of the United States of America.  They are bringing it on through chaos and bringing down of Wall Street and the stock market.”

 

Since then, unions have been at the forefront of the Occupy Wall Street movement and have leveraged disaffected youth in order to achieve their goals of economic chaos, collapsing capitalism, and spreading socialism. Should we be more than a little concerned about Lerner’s latest comments? After all, this time last year he basically laying out the ideas that fueled the then non-existent Occupy movement. What could be coming next?

He Risked his Life, His Fortune and His Sacred Honor – To Do What’s Right


 

I am an admirer of Glen Beck. I used to watch his show on FOX News before he moved on. The only real thing I have against Mr. Beck is his theology. I haven’t checked into it really but I understand Mr. Beck’s theology is that of the Mormon Church. I am quite the Mormonphobe and believe that the Church of Christ of the Latter Day Saints is a Gnostic cult derived from Christianity. Unlike the dark side of Islamic theology I can live with respect to Mormons though. Mormons have an authentic Judeo-Christian values system. I will not vote for Mitt Romney in the primaries because of his adherence to Mormonism; however if he actually becomes the nominee for the GOP I will vote for him based on an anti-Obama Republican ticket.

 

With that explanation on my thoughts on Mormonism as related to Glen Beck, I am more of a supporter than a critic. Not long ago Beck went to Israel to initiate a pro-Israel rally titled Restoring Courage held in Jerusalem. Below is a supportive Beck email because of that Rally in Jerusalem. Local ACT for America Chapter leader Dr. Nancy Bonus attended “Restoring Courage” in Jerusalem and was moved. Bonus was so moved she wrote a scathing criticism aimed at Glen Beck critics. I forget which Chapter Bonus represents and she did not include it in this last email, but I think it is the San Bernadino County Chapter. If I am incorrect I am sure Dr. Bonus will let me know in a follow-up.

My report from having attended the “Restoring Honor” event in Jerusalem, Israel

Glenn Beck is hated:

 

Many in the world hate Glenn Beck. Maybe you’re one of them.

 

He’s been called – a right wing extremist, a hater, a liar, a bigot, a buffoon, dangerous, an Anti-Semite, and most improbably and contradictory – a Jew-Lover. This character assassination comes from many sources, regrettably often from good people who are well meaning and want to warn others not to be taken in by him.

 

Unfortunately most often their negative opinions of him are based, not upon having watched and listened to full-length broadcasts of his, but upon what they’ve heard others say about him and what he supposedly stands for.

 

Assassinating another’s character and slandering them publically is one of the most grievous offenses one can commit against another according to Jewish scripture. Public humiliation – the act of destroying their good name, means you have killed their reputation in the eyes of others and it’s one of the most difficult offenses to overcome.

 

But this is what many do when they take part in repeating or agreeing with vicious slanders about Mr. Beck based upon what they’ve read online or have heard about from websites they frequent… or from magazines who paint him in the most unflattering light through doctored photos, innuendoes or partial quotes or sound-bites taken out of context.  (This is a tactic that’s been used against Jews repeatedly throughout history to turn public opinion against them…and has led to expulsions, pogroms, and attempted annihilations.)

 

He certainly does inspire passion from all sides. Unfortunately what passes for journalism today is not ‘just the facts.’ That went out decades ago and most journalists admit they want to promote an agenda and see that as their job.

 

Good people without a lot of time to do their own research believe the opinion pieces without realizing that the writers today have a strong bias or agenda they are promoting. Mr. Beck often says, “The truth has no agenda.” He encourages his listeners to “question with boldness” and to “do your own research” not believing what anyone says, even him unless you’ve checked it out from first level sources…not what someone says about another, but what that person actually said or wrote himself.

 

We had to be in Jerusalem at this momentous time:

 

My husband and I traveled to Jerusalem to take part in Glenn Beck’s – “Restoring Courage” event. I felt compelled to support this non-Jewish man who was standing up and standing by Israel and Jews in this dangerous and perilous time.

 

During the time we were there from August 18th to August 28th, there were three major suicide-bombing attacks against Israeli civilians and military from different points around the country. Areas that had never been targets were now on the hit list for terror.

 

The Arab Spring and its promise of “democracy” had brought instead chaos, agitation, and the rise of Muslim Brotherhood agitators, Hamas/Fatah partnerships, and awakening of Al Qaeda affiliates. Israel is under siege once more and the stakes are very serious.

 

What would have happened if Christians supported the Jews during WWII?

 

The burning impetus for being there was to experience and take part in a miracle – a new phenomenon in world history – the Christian love and support for Jews and for Israel. Finally at this crucial time in our history, we are not alone.

 

As someone who grew up experiencing many incidents of painful Anti-Semitism directed against me for no reason other than my having been born Jewish, I am awed by the love and support of our Christian brothers and sisters at this important time in history. I keep thinking to myself what a different world it would have been had we had this kind of love and support, during the Holocaust and in my childhood when I felt the sting of persecution for being a Jewish minority in a hostile, Christian land.

 

I’ve become active by supporting and attending events presented by various Christian organizations who not only love Israel and the Jewish people, but who do everything in their ability to show that love and support through charitable contributions, rally’s, books in support of Israel, pamphlets, educational seminars and events for which they risk everything to do the right thing…often making them targets for attack themselves.

 

Christians United For Israel:

 

I’ve heard Reverend John Hagee many times as he preached to thousands about the duty of Christians to love and support Israel. I’ve also seen countless Glenn Beck shows where he laid out the danger the Arab Spring would bring to Israel and why the western world must support her now in her hour of need.

 

When I tell others about the love and support many Christian movements today have for Israel I often am confronted with suspicion or cynicism. And of course, I understand why there would be mistrust, based upon centuries of Christian persecution of the Jewish people.

 

That’s why this new kind of Christianity, called ‘Dispensationalism’ is such a miracle and something that all Jews should thank God for and wholeheartedly embrace. John Nelson Darby, a 19th century British evangelist who is the forerunner of modern Christianity, popularized it.

 

This new kind of Christianity supersedes “Replacement” theology in which Christianity was said to have replaced Judaism and for that reason, there was no longer any need for Jews except those who would convert to Christianity. Unlike the bigoted Christianity that our parent’s generation faced, this brand of Christianity loves the Jewish people and quotes bible verses where God commands them to do so. They also are thankful for the Jews who gave them Jesus, Joseph, Mary, the Apostles, the patriarchs, the bible, the ten commandments, etc…In other words, without Judaism, there would be no Christianity.

 

This is not to say that all Christians today follow this kind of theology but the numbers who do is extremely large and growing.

 

Glenn Beck and Restoring Courage:

 

Glenn Beck is a very complex, intelligent, compassionate and courageous man. In many ways, he’s been a kind of prophet by accurately predicting world events years before they occur and warning his viewers of what is coming and to be prepared for what will be happening in the world and to all of us.

 

He would (and has) rejected the notion that he is any kind of prophet and would probably not appreciate my seeing him that way, but I truly feel he is a man of God that was placed on earth just at this time, to help show all of us the way to save ourselves. He believes that Israel is the cornerstone for Western Civilization and believes that, if Israel were to fall, the Western countries would be close behind, including America.

 

He predicted the Arab Spring before it occurred and told of what would happen if it came to pass. He showed with maps and diagrams how the various countries would threaten Israel and even used the phrase that “Israel is being set up.”

 

In promoting his “Restoring Courage” event, he often spoke about the courageous reverend, Dietrich Bonhoeffer whose life greatly impacted Glenn’s own. Bonhoeffer was hunted down and tortured by the Nazi’s for speaking out against their evil. Even when they imprisoned him and tortured him and prohibited him from writing and getting the word out, he didn’t stop and found ways to sneak his words out of the prisons in an attempt to rally support for fighting against the evil of Nazism. He was executed by hanging by the Nazis when he was only in his early 30’s, right before the end of the war.

 

Glenn often quoted Bonhoeffer as a guiding light for right action in the face of evil: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” Glenn said on many shows, “I stand with Israel and the Jewish People. If you must come for someone, come for me.”

 

This courageous man who stands with Israel and the Jewish people has been an inspiration throughout the world. In a Gallup Poll last year, Americans said they admired Glenn Beck more than the Pope; more than Billy Graham, or Bill Gates, Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush – and he came in a close second to Nelson Mandella. So it’s pretty obvious he didn’t do this for fame.

 

It also took a lot of his own money to make this happen. One article said he was around $1million in the hole in order to put on these events (after the three events in Israel, he took the show to South Africa – to show that Israel is NOT and never has been an Apartheid state…to South America, with the same message – the necessity of standing for good over evil – supporting Israel and he’ll finish up with a huge rally in Texas.) He didn’t do this for fortune.

 

He did it because it’s the right thing to do and he has the clout and recognition to bring attention to this issue. He is highly principled and as a recovering Alcoholic, follows the steps laid out as part of that recovery – and he obviously takes them seriously.

 

So did he achieve his goals of imparting the importance for each of us to do the right thing and to stand up for good over evil no matter the price? I know for myself and for thousands of others, he certainly did.

Pamela Gellar takes William Kristol to task because of his defense of Democracy that could lead to a Muslim Brotherhood Islamic dictatorship. I have noted before that the MB could gain power democratically in Egypt and then chip away at the democratic rule of law to form an Islamic Sharia State. I have used the examples of Hitler abolishing the Weimar Republic of Germany by slowly replacing the German Constitution with Nazi Supremacism. I also used the Iranian Revolution as an example even though Khomeini was not exactly elected but was popular as a perceived Islamic Savior he instituted a Shia Twelver Islamic Republic based on the Shia strain of Sharia Law. I could have also used the MB proxy in Gaza known as Hamas who won election by the popular Gaza vote only to take full control by violently ridding Gaza of the more secular yet more politically corrupt Palestinian Authority.

 

Gellar also takes Neocons like Kristol and Krauthammer to task for their criticism of Glen Beck who has spent a considerable amount of FOX News time in exposing the nature of the Muslim Brotherhood as compared by Leftist, Muslim Apologists and those Republicans who have been duped to believe the Muslim Brotherhood is a nonviolent Islamist movement. The words “nonviolent” and “Islamist” used as equals in the same sentence is definitely an oxymoron.

 

I must add a full disclosure moment: I consider myself a bit of a Neocon; however on the issue of the MB I whole heartedly disagree with Kristol and Krauthammer on the nature of the MB’s political aspirations. Now if Kristol is saying that the MB might be a political player that the US might be forced to deal with, then that is a realistic geopolitical outcome that might indeed need some diplomatic give and take to keep Egypt out of Iran’s orbit. The Sunni Muslim Brotherhood and the Shia Twelvers of Iran are natural enemies. Most Islamist Sunnis consider Shias a heretical version of Islam. There has been much Muslim blood spilled between Sunnis and Shias similar to Christianity’s Reformation days when Catholics and Protestants went at each other in religious wars. The difference in inter-religious war among Muslims is that Shia actually represents only about 10% of all Muslims. The other 90% are Sunnis. The percentage disparity is not so large between Catholics and Protestants. For percentage purposes, the ratio between Catholics and Protestants in 2011 (excluding Orthodox and other Christian sects) is 56% Catholic and 44% Protestant (if you group Anglicans with Protestants).

 

America has been pretty good with the short term strategy of playing rivals against each other to the benefit of American National Interests. In the decade of the 1980s America pitted Saddam Hussein’s Iraq against Iran just fresh off holding American diplomats hostage for about a year.

 

Unfortunately American clandestine favor toward Iraq probably set the stage for two American wars with Iraq that resulted ultimately in the deposing of Saddam Hussein as well as the Iraqi novice government’s execution of the overthrown dictator. The weakening of Iraq reinvigorated regional the aspirations of Iran.

 

The direction of Egypt’s future is also important to American National Interests. The American government will be involved with some difficult choices in trying to influence Egypt’s future to the benefit of American National Interests. We do not have a good track record in supporting the correct despots in long term stratagems in the Middle East. Yes I said despot in relation to Egypt. Even with free elections in Egypt, no matter who wins will ultimately shore up their political victory into the eventual central control of the Egyptian government. That central control will be despotic regardless of who wins unless the Egyptian military manages to be the balance of power keeping the politics inline. Turkey is an example of this form of Islamic democracy. However, even in Turkey, Islamists have been effective in placing their adherents into the Turkish Military. There is the actual possibility Turkey may enter the realm of Islamist despotism with the aid of Islamists in the Turkish Military.

 

I understand the Egyptian Military is willing to play that Turkey Military style balance of power, but it begs the question. How many Islamists – meaning the MB – are in the rank and file of the Egyptian military? Wrong American choices can come back to bite America’s butt which clearly would threaten Israel’s existence which possibly could be another stepping stone to another World War.
