Why The Stage Is Set For The End Times


If you are a Bible-Believing Christian (as opposed to a Leftist propagandized diluted Christian), you must recognize the tyranny experienced on a global scale (more and more also in the USA) smacks glaringly of Last Days Signs.

End Times Prophecy is hardly an exact science with all kinds of disagreements on timelines and occurrences. With the only agreement Jesus the Christ wins and transforms a New Heaven and a New Earth that looks NOTHING like the despotic transformation envisioned by a Globalist-Dem-Marxist new social order.

I believe I have discovered an insightful essay by Britt Gillette observing today’s similarities to some Last Days scenarios.

Even with the uncertainty and too often squabbles of prophetic timelines and prophetic occurrences, here is some certainty from the Word of God as excerpted in the Book of Revelation to John the Apostle (Rev. 20: 9-10; 21: 1-8; 22: 1-5 NKJV):

Revelation 20

9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[a] the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 21

1Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, [a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [b]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

6 And He said to me, “It[c] is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes [d]shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, [e]unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

1And he showed me a [a]pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

As a student of bible prophecy for almost 30 years, and specifically end times bible prophecy, no other time has seemed as close to the end times as right now. Why do I say this? Because, particularly in the past year, the geopolitical and economic stage has been set for the fulfillment of several end times prophecies. 

We now have several potential crises on the horizon. And those potential crises are the same ones the Bible says we’ll experience either in the Tribulation or the days immediately preceding the Tribulation. Below are just a few:

The Gog of Magog War

The Bible points to a future attack on Israel known as the Gog of Magog War (Ezekiel 38-39). It says a military alliance that includes Russia, Iran, Turkey, and a number of Muslim nations will attack Israel “in the latter days” (Ezekiel 38:8) when God brings His people home from among the enemy nations (Ezekiel 39:27). 

Today, we see those nations forming an alliance for the first time – an alliance that has never existed in world history. Russia, Iran, and Turkey all have an active military presence in Syria, meaning they’re right on Israel’s northern border at this moment. Why is this important? Because Ezekiel specifically says this alliance will attack Israel from the north (Ezekiel 38:15; Ezekiel 39:2). In addition, the ancient territory of Magog covers a number of modern day nations, one of which is Afghanistan. 

Up until recently, it was difficult to imagine U.S. occupied Afghanistan joining the Gog of Magog invasion. But now? With the Taliban back in control, it would be odd if they didn’t join this invading alliance. The way nations are aligned today, the Gog of Magog invasion could take place tomorrow. All the pieces are in place. Even just a few years ago, that wasn’t the case.

Global War Prospects

While “rumors of war” have been common since the end of World War II, the current situation is different. The world is in the midst of an energy crisis. Europe has seen natural gas prices surge in the past month. China and India are experiencing rolling blackouts of electrical service. Not only will this create problems in an already broken global supply chain, but these are the conditions which often give rise to war. And energy resource issues could provide the spark that ignites the next world war.

For example, China threatens to invade Taiwan on an almost daily basis. If China does invade, the United States claims it will defend Taiwan. If it occurs, such a conflict will devastate the world. Both China and the U.S. are nuclear powers, and both likely have high-tech space weapons, cyberwarfare capabilities, and innovative weapons never before seen on a battlefield. Such a conflict could easily erupt into World War III. Even if it doesn’t, the global economy would collapse and the global supply chain would be irreparably broken if the two largest economic powers went to war.

The same is true in regard to Israel and Iran. Both nations have been engaged in a type of “cold war” for years, and with each passing month, the prospect of all-out war only increases. A conflict between the two could pull the Middle East and the entire world into a cataclysmic war.

Throw in India’s border disputes with China and Pakistan as well as North Korea’s belligerence toward its neighbors and the United States, and the prospects of global war are probably the highest they’ve been in the post-Cold War era. At any moment, a flare up in any one of several hotspots could cascade into a global war. Yet, contrary to popular belief, the world will survive World War III. 

The death toll will be enormous, but the human race won’t be annihilated (Revelation 6:4). The Bible says a global war will kick off the Tribulation and precede the global rule of the Antichrist. Right now, the odds of a devastating global war appear high.

Global Inflation Prospects

Shutdowns, travel regulations, and other COVID restrictions have wreaked havoc on the global supply chain since early 2020, and it’s only getting worse. Lack of shipping containers, global port congestion, and a lack of workers to produce, transport, and stock goods have led to shortages in everything from toilet paper and microprocessors to chicken wings and tractor tires. 

Meanwhile, central bank and government policies creating low interest rates and instituting rent/mortgage moratoriums, student loan moratoriums, stimulus checks, and tax credits have only added to demand. Basic economics says if you lower supply and increase demand, you get higher prices. We’re seeing that right now, especially at the grocery store. Don’t expect it to get better.

The Bible says the world will experience an unprecedented hyperinflation during the Tribulation. Following the global war outlined in Revelation 6:4, the world experiences a time when an entire day’s wages will barely buy enough food to survive (Revelation 6:5-6). 

Given the inflation and shortages we’re already seeing, how bad will it get if a major war breaks out anywhere in the world, much less an all-out global war like the one foretold in Revelation 6?

The Rising Mark of the Beast System

Throughout the world, governments are pushing COVID vaccines. Those who refuse the jab face a long list of penalties, including loss of employment, healthcare, freedom of movement, and liberty in general. Those pushing vaccine mandates and vaccine passports seek to coerce people into compliance. The goal is to ostracize the unvaccinated from society.

If these coercive policies remain in place, they’ll create a mark of the beast system indistinguishable in impact from the true mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16). In doing so, they’ll pave the way for the rise of the Antichrist and the actual mark of the beast as outlined in the Book of Revelation.

The Bible says those who refuse the mark of the beast will be shut out of the global economy. They’ll be unable to buy or sell anything without it (Revelation 13:17). 

Today, we see the stage being set for the fulfillment of this prophecy. In some places, vaccine passports are required to appear anywhere in public, including grocery stores. Is it really hard to believe they’ll one day be required to engage in any buy/sell transactions?

The Days of Noah and Lot

Jesus said when He returns, the world will be “like it was in the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37). Jesus said, “In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.” Matthew 24:38-39 (NLT)

Is this what we see in the world today? I think so. Even after 19 months of a global pandemic, a global supply chain crisis, and threats of war, people are still enjoying banquets and parties and weddings. In other words, much of life remains normal. After a series of events that should have shaken the world from its slumber, most people continue to go about their daily lives unaware of the times in which we live. 

The times in which we live are clear to anyone who knows the Bible. We are living in the days just before the Tribulation takes place. Jesus will soon return to take His church (1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18). How can I be so sure? Because Jesus says so. Jesus said when you see all the signs He and the prophets said to look for, you should look up (Luke 21:28), and we see those signs right now. 

The Convergence of Signs

So what are these signs? Jesus and the prophets pointed to dozens and dozens of signs. This article only cites a few, but each one is undeniable. Their convergence for the first time in history tells us the return of the Lord is close at hand. In addition to the events already mentioned, these signs include:

• Israel Back in the Land (Jeremiah 23:7-8; Ezekiel 39:28; Isaiah 11:12; Psalm 107:3; Ezekiel 20:34; Isaiah 11:11-12)

• The Jewish People in Control of Jerusalem (Luke 21:24-28)

• The Gospel Preached Throughout the World (Matthew 24:14)

• An Increase in Travel and Knowledge (Daniel 12:4)

• Arrival of the Exponential Curve (Matthew 24:3‐8)

• Israel Surrounded by Enemies (Psalm 83:4; Psalm 83:12; Ezekiel 11:14‐17; Ezekiel 35:10)

• Israel’s Exceedingly Great Army (Ezekiel 37:10; Zechariah 12:6; Zechariah 12:8)

• The Rise of a United Europe (Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Revelation 17)

• The Rise of a Global Government (Revelation 13:7-17)

• The State of Mankind (2 Timothy 3:1-4)

• Denial of the Signs (2 Peter 3:3‐4)

Stay Awake

Jesus commanded us to watch for these signs (Matthew 24:42). He scolded the Pharisees and religious leaders when they failed to recognize the signs of His first coming (Matthew 16:3). Will He do any different for those who fail to recognize the signs of His second coming? Jesus warned us not to be caught sleeping when He returns (Mark 13:36). 

Now is the time to point out these signs to others and warn them the end is near. If you’ve been waiting to share the Gospel with someone, don’t wait any longer. You may not have another opportunity. Jesus is coming. The signs are all around us.

Yurki posts comment to NCCR post “Equal Rights or Might is Right?” That post is by Shamim Masih, a Christian Rights Activist residing in Pakistan exposing the plight and discrimination against Christians in that Sunni Muslim nation.

 

Yurki’s comment begins human rights. Specifically looking at Human Trafficking as a conspiracy involving the British monarch, the Canadian government (Hello Royale Canadian Mounted Police), Native American tribal elites and the Provincial government of British Columbia with a smattering of American and Canadian organized crime.

 

The last part of Yurki’s post deals with a New World Order conspiracy through the eyes of the End of Days (aka the Last Days, the Apocalypse, End Times, etc.). This combines aspects of atheism, humanism, communism, godless liberal collectivists, globalists, neo-conservative fascists, New Age religion, Islam and Satanism. Yurki (and many others) view this amalgam of conspirators as being molded into mainstream thought patterns to the enigmatic goals of the world’s global elites.

 

The conspiracy theory in this post that I have a problem with is the concept that the 9/11 Islamic attack on American soil under the direction of the Bush Administration to create a reason to acquire Iraqi oil. My difficulty is warped manipulation of known data to fit a neo-fascist design of conquest with finger pointing at Neoconservatism. There simply is no reasonable line-up of data with the accusative storyline. The closest I will acknowledge is a failure of Intelligence cooperation early for America to get caught with its pants down. Then later with Saddam Hussein beginning to focus his conquest agenda from Iran to Sunni Muslim oil nations beginning with Kuwait. Using a domino construct the next in line would have been Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Peninsula oil rich Emirates. All this under the propaganda of Arab unity to eradicate Israel for the sake of the Arabs who manufactured a non-existent nationality of Palestinians.

 

Suffice it to say I absolutely do not subscribe to 9/11 Conspiracy Theory.

“Queen Elizabeth Found Guilty in Missing Children Case — Whistle Blowers Incarcerated, While She is Free”

 

– In the second week of May 2014, British soldier Vivian Cunningham was drugged and institutionalized against his will. Apparently, his “crime” on May 6 was daring to ask superiors about Queen Elizabeth’s outstanding arrest warrant.

 

The order to arrest Queen Elizabeth was issued in 2013 by six judges of the International Common Law Court of Justice in Brussels.

 

After nearly a year of litigation, Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Phillip, were found guilty in the disappearance of ten native children from the Catholic-run Kamloops residential school in British Columbia. Grieving parents haven’t seen their children since they left for a picnic with the Royal couple on Oct. 10 1964. –

 

– Regiment soldier Cunningham had innocently questioned a senior officer about Queen Elizabeth’s arrest warrant, only to be committed to a mental care unit in Stafford England.

 

He was injected with an atypical anti-psychotic drug olanzapine under orders of Captain Murrell and Doctors Khan and Sema. The soldier was committed for six months to the St. George Hospital Psychiatric Unit with a “diagnosis” of suffering from an acute psychotic episode.

 

In April, a second international trial began in Brussels on global elite members of the Ninth Circle Satanic Cult.

 

A court document had been filed indicating that in Jan. 2012 UK Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby acted under the direction of Queen Elizabeth to destroy forensic remains of a Ninth Circle Satanic Cult child homicide. Two eyewitnesses have testified that as children they were present during this same murder of a native child. –

What is The International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State? (ITCCS)

 

The ITCCS was formed in May of 2010 at a closed meeting of survivors of church and state terror in Dublin, Ireland. The event was initiated by Nobel Prize Nominee Reverend Kevin Annett of Canada and members of Irish survivors’ groups.

 

The foundational purpose of the ITCCS is to unite survivors of genocide and child torture across borders, and to mount a broad political, spiritual and legal movement to disestablish the Vatican and other churches and governments responsible for historic and ongoing crimes against children and humanity.

 

The original ITCCS federation was composed of groups from Ireland, England, the United States, Canada and Italy, including the Templemore Forgotten Victims (Antrim, Ireland), the Friends and Relatives of the Disappeared (Canada), and United Against Church Terror (USA). By September, 2013, ITCCS had spread to twenty six countries and over fifty affiliated groups. Its work is translated into thirteen languages. Its affiliates include the prestigious cult ritual and abuse survivors’ organizations SMART of the United States, and Rete L’Abuso in Savona, Italy.

 

The ITCCS operates from an undisclosed central headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, and from regional offices in Vancouver, New York, Dublin, London and Paris. The War on Terrorism

 

Shortly after the events of 9/11, the Bush administration announced a “War on Terrorism”, and within weeks, Americans saw many of their constitutional guarantees of freedom stripped away by the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act with their plethora of legislative changes which significantly increased the surveillance and investigative powers of law enforcement agencies in the United States.

These Acts did not, however, provide for the system of checks and balances that traditionally safeguards civil liberties in the face of such legislation. Many of the provisions of these tyranical [sic] Acts relating to electronic surveillance were actually proposed before September 11th, and were subject to much criticism and debate. Following 9/11, criticism and debate was squelched in favor of “protecting America.”

While I don’t believe that the United States government as a whole was behind the 9/11 catastrophe, I do believe the evidence shows there was a small subset of powerful and influential people within the U.S. government orchestrating the event.

Whether the U.S. government had any direct involvement, the evidence shows US authorities certainly did little or nothing to pre-empt the events of 9/11. It is known that at least 11 countries provided advance warning to the US of the 9/11 attacks. Two senior Mossad experts were sent to Washington in August 2001 to alert the CIA and FBI to a cell of 200 terrorists said to be preparing a big operation (Daily Telegraph, September 16 2001). The list they provided included the names of four of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, none of whom was arrested. It had been known as early as 1996 that there were plans to hit Washington targets with airplanes. Then in 1999 a US national intelligence council report noted that “al-Qaida suicide bombers could crash-land an aircraft packed with high explosives into the Pentagon, the headquarters of the CIA, or the White House“.

Asked by an NBC news presenter if Iraq and Libya had been better off when Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi were in power, a question most politicians would have dodged, Trump said: “Iraq is a disaster … Libya is not even a country. You can make the case, if you look at Libya, look at what we did there – it’s a mess. If you look at Saddam Hussein with Iraq, look what we did there – it’s a mess.”

This media blindness compounds government misjudgements and prevents lessons being learned from previous disasters.

Commenters futuret and yurki1000 chose the thought that ultimately the evil Left are actually influenced by the incorporeal dark forces of Satan. Thanks to being on Newsmax’s email subscription list I discovered that former Rep. Michele Bachmann castigated President Barack Hussein Obama’s foreign policy moves. In and of itself that is not surprising with Bachmann’s admirable Conservative credentials as one of the House’s leaders of the Tea Party caucus. Maybe some of you knew that Bachmann is also a devout Christian who has been a member of an Evangelical-Charismatic believing Lutheran Church in Minnesota. This Michele Bachmann is a Bible believing tongue-talker – like me (See HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE).

Oddly their Bachmann story was source from Right Wing Watch (Christian perspective that RWW is sure to hate) which is dedicated in vilifying all things Conservative as fringe politics much like I disparage Democrats as idiotic Leftists willing to toss the Founding Fathers’ Original Intent of the Constitution and replace it with a Living Constitution interpretation. The problem is the Living Constitution paradigm is all about molding laws to fit baby killing, terminating free speech that is contrary to the Leftist agenda, validating immoral alternative lifestyles and so on.
 
Bachmann’s Christian faith has exposed her to criticism from the Lame-Stream Media and a few Conservatives as well. Leftists and Republican Establishment elites view Bible believing Charismatics as dangerous extremism when it comes to politics. This is especially the case in Presidential politics. America’s press took no time at all to question Bachmann’s religious views as too Christian and backward for national leadership. It was irrelevant to the fact that a politician with strong political views were less corruptible than Leftists or Establishment Republicans.
 
Michele and her husband Marcus were vilified by the press for being involved in special Christian counseling clinics that exercised therapy for homosexuals to overcome the God-viewed abomination lifestyle. I mean – my God! Imagine a Bible believer being against homosexuality. After all the press and famous entertainers were just fine with a Presidential candidate that attended a White-hating BLT racist Pastor’s Church in Chicago for about 20 years. Or a candidate that that was mentored by an openly Communist White-hating African American considered a Leftist intellectual whose hobby was pornography with some evidence of pedophilia (HERE and HERE). Or a candidate that subscribed to a Leftist political training community organizing of Saul Alinsky who desired to end the Free Market American dream. Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn went on a Communist terrorist revolution spree of violence in the 1960s and still evaded prison due to the same legal technicalities they tried to take down as terrorists. Despite of the Obama/Ayers lies, these two had a tight relationship, but the media has done everything to twist this fact.

This is evident in the Newsmax article about Bachmann appearing on a radio podcast interview with Jan Markell in which former Rep. Bachmann discusses President Obama’s foreign policy pertaining to the agenda of making any kind of deal with Iran with the excuse some kind of deal is better than no deal. Bachmann believes if Obama is successful with an Iran nuke deal that will lead to nuclear weapons of mass destruction (WMD), Obama will be ushering in the circumstances that will lead to an End Times Armageddon which essentially lead to the Second Coming of Christ.
 
America’s Left jumped on Michele Bachmann’s assertion on a Christian program as further evidence of a Right Wing Christian nut job. I view the Markell/Bachmann interview as a bad news/good news prediction. Bad because of the needless idiotic suffering Obama will initiate that will make Hitler’s WWII genocide look like a picnic. AND good because the Savior Jesus Christ will finally return to reverse the curse of Leftist ideologues, Jew-haters and Christian-haters (cough – can you say Islam?).

Former congresswoman and 2012 Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has accused President Barack Obama of being “pro the goals of Islamic jihad,” which she explains includes welcoming the “hidden imam” to bring on the apocalypse.
 
In appearing on the “Understanding the End Times” radio program with Jan Markell last weekend, the 59-year-old Minnesotan bashed the president’s foreign policy goals as being aligned with the goals of Islamic extremists, who she argues have the ultimate goal of bringing about the end of the world and paving the way for the Islamic Messiah.
 
“Our president, who is as consistent in his foreign policy world view, which is to be anti-Israel and pro, and I’ll say it in my own words, pro the goals of Islamic jihad, because that is what we are seeing,” Bachmann asserted. “These are the goals of Islamic jihad.”
She explained that in February, Obama tried to justify the potential nuclear agreement with Iran by saying that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said it was against Islam to obtain a nuclear weapon.
 
Bachmann decried that “myth” and stated that Obama is either “ignorant of Islamic scripture” or he is trying to perpetuate a lie to the American public.
 
“Not only is there any such fatwa, he said that the supreme leader issued a fatwa, issuing a religious opinion, that it said that it was against Islam to obtain a nuclear weapon. Only there has ever been this fatwa found, nobody has ever seen it or heard it. It has never been published,” Bachmann said. “But, it reveals that our president is as ignorant of Islamic scripture as he is at Islamic history. Or, he is trying to intentionally lie to the American people. We don’t know which it is.”
 
Bachmann also called out the fact that Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani labeled Iran’s diplomacy with the United States as an “active jihad” in early March.
 
“Our negotiations with the world powers are a source of national pride,” Rouhani said in March. “Yesterday your brave generals stood against the enemy on the battlefield and defended their country. Today, your diplomatic generals are defending [our nation] in the field of diplomacy — this, too, is jihad.”
 
Bachmann goes on to further explain Iran’s Shia Muslim goals by stating that they foresee and eventual world were only Islam reigns.
 
“Islam is a flame because they see to that their scripture is being fulfilled. If you are a Shia, you believe that we are going to see the hidden imam soon come back and we will have an apocalypse and we will have an all-out war and then peace will come with only Islam reigning,” she said. “If you are Sunni Islam, you also believe that it is the end of the age. As Christians, we know that the word of God is true. Let’s preach the true living word of God from every pulpit so that believers can know what God’s time clock is.”
 
She urged more pastors to speak from their pulpits about the end of times, which she says is coming near. She contends that while Christian pastors and priests are not speaking on the end of times, Muslims are preparing for the coming of their twelfth imam.
 
“Talk about what you see in the newspaper every single day. We can talk about God’s time clock and the fact that Jesus Christ’s return is imminent. Is there anything more important to talk about?” Bachmann asked. “That needs to occupy our time and our thoughts from virtually morning to night because we have very little time, in my opinion, left before the second return of Christ.”

Who is the Antichrist? Where does the Antichrist come from? When the Antichrist be revealed?

 

These are questions that Christians have been asking for two millennia. The reason they ask is because Jesus and the Apostles of the Early Church often implied the Return of Christ was imminent. AND the Bible tells the Antichrist will go into action before Christ’s return.

 

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24: 30-31 NKJV)

 

10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? Second Thessalonians is the standard used by theologians that the Antichrist comes and is revealed before the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Son of God.

From my early childhood, I heard about the antichrist. In the many years that I’ve been a Christian, I’ve heard people speculate that this person or that person could potentially be the antichrist. However, although these individuals may have been forerunners to the antichrist, none of them turned out to be the long-anticipated Man of Lawlessness described in the Scriptures.
 
The Bible teaches us that at some point in the future, an evil ruler called the antichrist is going to step onto the platform of the world stage and take the leading role for a short time in the affairs of mankind. Many predecessors of the antichrist have already come and gone, but according to this scripture in Second Thessalonians 2, the real antichrist is still yet to be revealed in the last times.
 
Paul tells us about the supernatural appearance of the antichrist when he writes about the last days in Second Thessalonians 2:3, 4. Paul writes, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
 
Paul says that before the antichrist can be revealed, first there must be a “falling away” that takes place in the world. The phrase “falling away” is taken from the Greek word apostasia, which describes a falling away or a revolt. The writer Plutarch used this word to describe a political revolt. In First Maccabees 2:15, the word apostasia is used to picture people who are turning away from the Lord. This word also occurs in the Septuagint version of Joshua 2:22, where it conveys the idea of rebellion against God. Thus, the word apostasia is a word that denotes rebellion, mutiny, and defiance.
 
Before the antichrist can be welcomed with wide-open arms by the world, a change in society’s mentality must first take place. Paul uses this word to predict a rebellion or mutiny against God that will occur in the last days. The text does not imply that this mutiny will occur within the Church; rather, it seems to point to a change in society’s attitude toward God.
 
Paul is describing a time when society’s attitude toward God and holy things will become mutinous. Once this anti-God and anti-godliness mentality pervades society, the world will be primed and prepared to receive this man whom Paul calls “that man of sin.”
 
The Greek word used here for “sin” is the word anomia. Translating the word anomia as “sin” is unfortunate, for the word anomia actually means without law and carries the idea of a lawless attitude. It has a definite article in Greek, which tells us emphatically that this individual is not just any person with a lawless attitude; rather, this is a reference to the man of lawlessness or the antichrist.
 
Paul points to a time when this evil leader will be “revealed.” The word “revealed” is the Greek word apokalupto. It is a compound word, using the words apo and kalupto. The word apo means away, and the word kalupto is something that is veiled, covered, concealed, or hidden. When these two words are compounded, they form the word apokalupto, depicting a veil that has been removed, exposing what is behind the veil that was formerly concealed or hidden from view. Paul uses this word to inform us that a day is coming when the antichrist — who has been concealed and hidden from public view — will suddenly appear. In that moment when he suddenly emerges on the world scene, it will be as if a stage curtain has been pulled out of the way so that he can make his grand appearance.
 
Paul calls this wicked leader “the son of perdition.” The word “perdition” is from the Greek word apoleia, which speaks of something that is doomed, rotten, ruinous, or decaying. Although this world leader may boast that he will lead the world to a higher and better day, what he will actually bring to the world is doom, destruction, ruin, rot, and decay. No redeeming value can be found in anything produced by the antichrist’s rule. In the Greek text, Paul uses a definite article, loudly signaling that this evil world ruler is in a category like none other before him. He is not simply another evil person. He is THE Son of Doom and Destruction.
 
Next, Paul tells us that this wicked world leader will be one “who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” The Greek word for “opposeth” is antikeimai, which means opposed to or against everything that is established. There is no doubt that this is a clear reference to the antichrist.
 
The word “antichrist” means against Christ. Thus, the Greek word used in this verse tells us that this evil leader will be against everything having to do with God. It is important to note that the Greek grammar used in this verse paints the picture of a continual, unending, and perpetual resistance against the things of God. This is not just a one-time resistance against the things of God; rather, this poisonous quality will be deeply ingrained in the character of the antichrist. Everything in this evil ruler will be opposed to God and all that He represents.
 
Paul also warns that the antichrist “…exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped….” The word “exalteth” is the Greek word huperairo, which means to exceedingly exalt oneself or to be exalted highly. In this case, it is the idea of someone being exalted too highly. According to Paul, the antichrist will go to all lengths to exceedingly exalt himself in the eyes of the world. As we continue to study this verse, we discover that this wicked ruler will even attempt to sit in God’s rightful place in the temple and elevate himself higher than God Himself!
 
Paul says that the antichrist will oppose and exalt himself above all “that is worshipped.” The word for “worship” is the Greek word sebasma, which refers to anything that can be worshiped, including God. Here we see that the antichrist will attempt to stop the practice of worshiping God and demand that he become the primary focus of human attention and worship.
 
Then Paul prophesies that the antichrist will sit in the very place of God in the temple. The word “temple” is the Greek word naos. It is sometimes used to refer to the innermost part of the temple and may be interpreted as the Holy of Holies. On the basis of this verse, many scholars assert that the antichrist will enter a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, where he will go into the Holy of Holies and decree himself to be God incarnate.
 
Wasn’t this exactly what Lucifer attempted to do when he declared that he would exalt himself above the very throne of God? Isaiah tells us of Lucifer in Isaiah 14:13, 14: “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”
 
Following the long-held desire of Satan, the antichrist will again attempt to take the very place of God in the temple. Paul tells us that the antichrist will commit the ultimate offense of “…shewing himself that he is God.” The Greek word for “shew” is the word apodeiknumi, which actually means to vividly portray; to point out; to illustrate; to show off; or to make a vivid presentation. This is the picture of the antichrist using all possible means to demonstrate that he holds a rank that is even higher than God Himself.
 
In Second Thessalonians 2:9, Paul warns that the antichrist will even employ supernatural signs and wonders to try to prove that he is God. He says, “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.”
 
The words “with all” are from the Greek words en pase, which emphatically declares that the antichrist will come with all power — implying that he will make his grand appearance with all kinds of power and supernatural displays. The Greek word for “power” is dunamis, which describes something that is explosive or dynamic. It is where we get the word dynamite. This means that when the antichrist appears, he will come with all kinds of powers that are truly extraordinary in the opinion of the lost world.
 
The Greek word for “sign” is semeion. This word denotes an act that points the viewer in a certain direction or an action performed to prove a point. It also means a beacon, a signal, or a sign. Just as a sign on the road gives directions to a driver, these supernatural feats are intended to point the attention and focus of the world to the antichrist.
 
The word “wonder” is the Greek word teras, and it is often translated miracles. This refers to something that causes people to marvel or to be amazed. The same word is used in Matthew 24:24, where Jesus warns that false prophets will perform wonders in the last days to deceive and to draw people away after themselves. Here it is used to say that when Satan finally has the opportunity to introduce his antichrist to the world, the evil ruler will energetically attempt to take the very place of God — even using lying signs and wonders to show that he is God.
 
When you put all these Greek words together, you discover that Paul’s words in Second Thessalonians 2:3, 4, 9 could be interpreted:
 
“In light of these things, I urge you to refuse to allow anyone to take advantage of you. For example, you won’t need a letter to tell you when the day of the Lord has come. You ought to know by now that this day can’t come until first a worldwide insurgency, rebellion, riot, and mutiny against God has come about in society.
 
“Once that occurs, the world will then be primed, prepared, and ready to embrace the Man of Lawlessness, the one who hates law and has rebellion running in his blood. This is the long-awaited and predicted Son of Doom and Destruction, the one who brings rot and ruin to everything he touches. When the time is just right, he will finally come out of hiding and go public!
 
“Do you understand whom I am talking about? I’m describing that person who will be so against God and everything connected with the worship of God that, if you can imagine it, he will even try to put himself on a pedestal above God Himself — sitting in God’s rightful place in the temple and publicly proclaiming himself to be God!
 
“This evil one will be energized by Satan himself as he makes his arrival known to the world with all kinds of dynamic supernatural powers — powers that are truly extraordinary. These lying signs and wonders and supernatural feats have only one purpose: They are designed to draw attention to the Lawless One and to make the world stand in awe of him.”
 
Any Christian who is sensitive to the Spirit of God is keenly aware that we are living in a time when society’s attitude toward God is radically changing. The world is being primed and prepared to throw open its arms and receive this world ruler who will oppose God and bring rot, ruin, and destruction to mankind. Unfortunately, the lost world doesn’t realize that it is being slowly seduced and trained for this moment the devil has long awaited.
 
As believers, we have no need to be afraid, for none of this will affect those who know Jesus Christ. However, it will affect those who are lost and without God. They will fall under the supernatural hypnotism of this devil-anointed leader. And if they don’t come to know Jesus Christ before all of this occurs, they will be ensnared in the trap that the entire world is about to fall into in the days to come.
 
Please realize what a critical time you are living in right now. Jesus is coming quickly. Those who know Him will escape many of these trials and temptations, but those who don’t know Him will be caught in the delusion and devastation. It’s good to rejoice that you will escape, but what about those you love? What are you going to do to ensure that they escape the evil days that are coming upon the earth?
 
In light of this clear teaching of Scripture, don’t you think it’s time for you to reach out to your unsaved friends and family members and speak to them about the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ? Ask the Holy Spirit to give you an opportunity to speak to them; then let Him fill your mouth with the right words as you earnestly plead with them to make Jesus Christ the Lord of their lives.

Lord, I ask You to give me the boldness I need to present the Gospel to my friends and family members who are unsaved. I know that if they don’t receive Jesus, they will be lost in sin and caught in the delusion that is coming upon the world in the days to come. I don’t want to stand before You knowing that they are lost because I was too afraid to open my mouth and tell them of Your saving blood. Holy Spirit, please give me the boldness I need and the right words to speak to those who are near and dear to my heart. When I stand before You, I want to be assured in my heart that I did everything I could to rescue those who are lost and perishing. Please help me to do this and to start today!

If they refuse to listen or to receive, I will be freed from my responsibility. My part is just to make sure they had a chance to hear and to believe. The Holy Spirit is empowering me to testify, so starting today, I will follow His leading and speak to unbelievers about Jesus as God provides opportunities for me to do so.

 

I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

If you visit SlantRight 2.0 (or some other blogs I post at) you know that I love a good Conspiracy Theory. The difference between a good and bad Conspiracy Theory is in the level of believability. The more believable the storyline the closer is the grasp of fact. AND I have to admit a quite a few  storylines that most would label as Conspiracy Theory is something I find to be quite factual at least in a deducible way of thinking.

 

When the conspiracy links to the traditional theories such as the Illuminati, Freemasons, Bretton Woods, Bilderberg Group, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission and so on; the believability factor dips way down. Or at least it dips way down for me.  

 

I subscribe to an email list called Prophecy Update. Prophecy Update sends articles and essays relating to current events with a Christian perspective that follows the coming End Times (or Last Days, Coming Apocalypse, Eschatology, etc.). Prophecy Update pointed toward an article that I do not usually find within their lists. The title is “ILLUMINATI & NEW WORLD ORDER: STAR TREK, AMERICA, SYRIA, RUSSIA AND THE RACE TO ARMAGEDDON – Part 1”. I couldn’t readily find the article easily on the Prophesy Update so I decided to Google the title. I found it at NewsWithViews.com.

 

The article by Paul McGuire utilizes a number of the traditional NWO conspiracies to make a Christian perspective conclusion or at least a part one conclusion. The article could actually be the premise for a great novel or flick. So for your enjoyment or preparation I am going to cross post part one. You’ll have to go NewsWithViews.com to find part two.

President Barack Obama declared that the United States is still prepared to act militarily to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons despite the decision to pursue a diplomatic deal and not strike Syria over its alleged use of chemical weapons. “I think what the Iranians understand is that the nuclear issue is a far larger issue for us than the chemical weapons issue, that the threat. (sic) against Israel, that a nuclear Iran poses, is much closer to our core interests,” Obama said. “My suspicion is that the Iranians recognize they shouldn’t draw a lesson that we haven’t struck [Syria] to think we won’t strike Iran.”

 

The White House and the Pentagon have repeatedly ruled out “boots on the ground” in Syria, but Defense Department officials were less certain Thursday on whether U.S. military personnel might be sent to help secure or destroy Syria’s chemical weapons. Pentagon Press Secretary George Little gave a vague answer when asked if U.S. troops were prepared to assist should an international agreement allow Russia to take control of the tons of chemical weapons believed to be in the stockpiles of President Bashar al-Assad.

 

“I’m not going to speculate on who may or may not be participating in a process that may or may not take place,” Little said. “We’ve got to see where the process goes” before the U.S. military considers involvement, he said.

 

Russia has dispatched a “carrier killer” missile cruiser and other ships to the eastern Mediterranean in a massive naval deployment. This comes as U.S. secretary of state, John Kerry examines Moscow’s plan to place Syrian chemical weapons under international control. Russia and the U.S. have increased their naval presence in the Mediterranean over the past several weeks. Secretary of State John Kerry is a member of the secret society of Yale, in the Skull & Bones Fraternity.

 

The missile cruiser Moskva, the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea fleet, is also on its way to the Syrian coast to lead the Russian naval force in that region. The ship is known as a “carrier-killer” because it is outfitted with powerful Vulkan missiles, that are designed to destroy large ships.

 

India on Sunday conducted a second test flight of its indigenously developed nuclear- capable ‘Agni-V’ long-range ballistic missile, which has a strike range of more than 5000 km, from the Wheeler Island off Odisha coast. The missile is capable of reaching Chinese cities.

 

The world has now entered a period of massive acceleration, much of it engineered by powerful unseen influences, who are manipulating world events in order to bring in their New World Order. The operating principle of the secretive Illuminati is, “Order out of Chaos.” There are those who believe that these groups and individuals, who are sometimes referred to as the “Illumined ones” and the “good magicians among the Freemasons” are acting in humanities best interest. There are others who see their motives as purely evil and Satanic and those who believe that there is some kind of battle among the elite.

The Illuminati forces in the world believe that a select elite among man, would become the Illumined ones and receive Luciferian illumination. This is depicted, by the all-seeing eye on the pyramid printed on the back of the U.S. dollar. The pyramid represents the Luciferian power structure. At the base of the pyramid are the words, “Novus Ordo Seclorum,” or “New Order of the Ages,” which means New World Order. It is this secretive elite that is ruling world affairs from behind the scenes from organizations like the Bilderberg Group, Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove and the Illuminati. All economic, scientific, cultural, theological and military crisis are designed to bring in their New World Order ruled by what Plato termed, “philosopher-kings,” which he borrowed from his knowledge of Atlantis, which was ruled by “god-kings,” or philosopher-kings. Yet, the symbols of Skull and Bones are clearly the symbols of death and have root’s (sic) in ancient Nazi occult and secret societies. At the Bohemian Grove, the world’s most powerful men in politics, finance, science and media, gather to worship around a statue of the god of Molech and offer up mock human sacrifices of little babies, while involved in some very dark sexual orgies and occult ceremonies. It is difficult to conceive of goodness emerging from those who worship a god of death, Molech.

 

This emerging New World Order and New World Religion, will involve Transhumanism, the supernatural, science, and technology. Through the False Prophet, predicted in Revelation Chapter 13, fire will come down from Heaven and mankind will worship the First Beast, or the Antichrist as God. Prior to that every man or woman who chooses to worship the Antichrist as god, will receive a biochip implant that will probably be placed as a nano-chip in the brain, which means total control of the neurological system through computer-brain interfaces and the ability to participate in the coming one world economic system or New International Financial Order. The Bilderberg Group came out in 2010 and said it was there (sic) intention to microchip the entire population of planet earth. At the 2013 Bilderberg Meeting at the Grove Hotel in Great Britain, a prominent metallic statue of an Android-like man, in the style of the metallic creature in the movie Terminator, was emerging out of a man-made lake, like the prototype of mankind’s next evolutionary phase, the Transhumanist man. These are all dark, Orwellian and totalitarian images of mankind’s future under the rule of what they call the New World Order, which is a bleak and dehumanized counterfeit of the Kingdom of God.

 

Unfortunately, there are billions of people on planet Earth who do not realize that we have now come to that moment in time and they will soon make a choice. On a more tragic level, there are hundreds of millions of people on planet Earth who claim to be Christians, but they do not read God’s Word and have no understanding of the prophetic implications of what will soon happen.

 
In fact, there are probably more people out of the church who understand this than in the church. These individuals, who claim to be Christians, do not have the Holy Spirit living inside of them, which is the Third Person of the Trinity. For a society which is used to “apps,” “Droids” and “Drones” the concept of a Personal Living God of the Universe who is the cosmic embodiment of true love and relates to each of us personally on the basis of three different kinds of dimensional relationships, should be easy to receive, if you throw off your three-dimensional religious sunglasses and discard manmade parts of your religious tradition.

 

Take a deep breath and just think for a moment that the most powerful force in the universe which is God chooses to relate to us as little children in the depths of our being. Unlike the “Beast-system,” which is emerging all around us, where each one of us will be tracked and violated from cradle to grave, by a completely non-personal and dehumanizing system. The Infinite Creator God of the Universe chooses to relate to each one of us as an individual person made in His own image!

 

Contrast the New World Order of man, with the beauty and love of the Kingdom of God! The New World Order is a cheap counterfeit of a masterpiece. Think of the world God originally created for men and women to live in. It was the Garden of Eden and it was Paradise. Adam and Eve had the perfect spiritual and physical relationship with each other. They were “soul mates,” and they didn’t get up and go to work each morning. The concept of work as a form of drudgery and slavery, where you are chained by debt to a master who exploits you was unknown in Eden.

 

In Eden you got up and played, if you choose to sleep at all. Every person who is outstanding at what he or she does will tell you that for them their work is play and they would do it for free. It’s not that there is no discipline or commitment to excellence, but, when you are doing what you love and what you were meant to do, work is play! It gives you a high. Work as we know it today, is a product of the curse of sin and death that came upon mankind after the Fall.

 

The world of Adam and Eve was beautiful beyond description. They experienced an entire spectrum of wondrous colors that our senses cannot perceive today, the same held true with sounds and other things our senses perceive. Flowers that emanated music and life-giving fragrances were all around them. Waterfalls, lakes, grass and a sky filled with golden hues and a warm glow unknown on earth today. They lived in a perfect ecologically balanced world and every fruit and vegetable they ate burst with flavors that we have long since lost. Their personal romantic life and their relationship was something completely unknown in this present world. They had an awesome relationship with God where they hung out together on the shores of Paradise. There was no need for drugs or alcohol because they lived in a state of ever increasing ecstasy where they just kept higher and higher, with no danger of “burn out” or implosion. They lived in constant ecstasy. The only thing God required was that they did not eat from the tree in the middle of the Garden because that would allow the death force to be unleashed and it would destroy their lives and Paradise. This is an interesting interpretation of mixing history with Scripture to form an opinion of the End Times. Some of James Albright’s history is a bit off. For example Persia never did conquer Greece. After Macedonian King Philip conquered the Greek City States, Philip’s son Alexander became King and went on a global conquest east Macedonian-Greek kingdom which conquered Persia – present day Iran.

 

Otherwise Albright has some interesting theories that are different from other eschatology portrayals of the Last Days. I grew up being told the Antichrist would come out of the European Union because the land mass roughly corresponded to the old Roman Empire. Albright believes the Ten Nations of Daniel will be Middle Eastern with Saudi Arabia being the chief of the Ten. The thing is before the Roman Empire split into East and West its entirety stretched from present day UK right up through the Middle East. So Albright’s theory has some substance to it.

 

One thing is that Albright implies in the video this was revealed to him prophetically be Jesus. Without watching the video more than once I’m not sure if Albright believes he saw this in a vision or dream.

 

Watch the 24 minute video on the Last Days and as a wise teacher once told me – Be at least as smart as a cow and eat the hay and spit out the sticks. Let me know if you find more or sticks that are available to digest.
