Surely you know that this news, about Ilhan Omar, has been percolating for years and that Minnesota media has helped bury the sordid tale.
Now comes a blockbuster story from the UK Daily Mail reporting on pretty overwhelming evidence, plus a firsthand account from a former friend of the controversial Congresswoman and member of the so-called “Squad,” that there must be an investigation launched to get to the truth.
Although the Daily Mail is leading the international news on the story, it was a Minnesota blog, Power Line, which deserves the credit for doggedly digging through the evidence readily available in Minnesota.

As of this morning [Feb 21], I can’t find a story in the Minnesota media that follows up on the Daily Mail’s reportthat Rep. Ilhan Omar married her brother in 2009 for fraudulent purposes. It’s not breaking news. We — Preya Samsundar, David Steinberg, and I — have been telling the story over the past three and a half years. The underlying story is Omar’s reign of terror seeking to suppress the story. The reign of terror extended beyond the Somali community to scoop up David Steinberg in Omar enforcer Guhaad Hashi’s terroristic threats last month. I reported on those threats here.

Democrats: DANGEROUS TO THE REPUBLIC

Something foul has gripped the Democratic Party, and under Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s weak leadership, and prodded on by the despicable fraud and liar known as Representative Adam Schiff, the Democratic Party is weaponizing the process for impeaching a sitting U.S. president, despite the fact that President Donald J. Trump, love him or hate him, has not committed any high crime or misdemeanor. Their unhinged zeal to avenge the 2016 loss and damage Pres. Trump before the 2020 election has them snorting too much gas from imaginary smoking guns fired by people with an agenda, and in their non-linear manner of thinking, they continue their Marxist assault on the Republic, through their own lawless and criminal behavior and a kangaroo court and inquisition.
On October 31st, the House Democrats held a vote on a resolution to proceed with an impeachment inquiry, which passed with a vote of 232-196. Two Democrats, Jeff Van Drew (NJ) and Collin Peterson (Minn.) voted against the move, and one time Republican turned Independent, Justin Amash (Mich.) voted in favor of the inquiry.
This same day at 10:35 AM, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Minority Leader in the House, tweeted: 100% of Republicans just voted AGAINST this sham impeachment. Two Democrats joined us. Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Schiff have both insisted that impeachment should be bipartisan. The only bipartisan vote today was AGAINST impeachment.”
Representative Devin Nunes, the top Republican on the Intelligence Committee, suggested the Democrats had turned into “a cult”, angrily adding: “We now have a full-fledged impeachment committee in the basement of the Capitol. Think about that, America.”
Prior to the vote, Democrats took their proceedings into the basement of the Capitol and conducted closed door hearings for weeks, overseen by the Intelligence Committee, as a justification for their secrecy, and controlled by Adam Schiff in a Soviet style process, when such hearings on impeachment have always been conducted in the Judiciary Committee in the past. Shifty Schiff limited Republican access to witnesses and details discussed and gave Democrats unfettered access to all the proceedings, and he has ignored due process by blocking President Trump’s counsel, creating a substandard process that is dangerous to the presidency and the future of the United States Republic.
Under this new resolution, the Democrats are still cutting the President’s counsel out of the hearings in unprecedented fashion and violating the due process that is his right. The President won’t even be able to question any witnesses until the process has long been underway, and, although Republicans can request witness testimony, the Democrats have voted themselves the option of refusing those requests.
Much of the Democrats’ supposed evidence of wrongdoing centers on allegations made by Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman, a National Security Council staffer, and Eric Ciaramella, a CIA analyst. Both men have reason to oppose President Trump, but not to attack him in such a vicious manner as championing an impeachment process that wreaks of treason and a continued attempt to unseat a duly elected President of the United States.
Paul Sperry, investigative journalist, notes that Ciaramella is an Obama holdover and a registered Democrat, who has previously worked with Vice-President Joe Biden and CIA Director John Brennan, who played a key role in the long-running soft coup against President Trump. Ciaramella was also removed from his National Security Council posting at the White House in the middle of 2017, due to his breach of the chain of command and numerous anti-Trump leaks to the media. He is also supposedly the “whistle blower”, although Sperry’s account still remains unconfirmed at this point; however, Ciaramella’s name does seem to be on everyone’s lips in D.C. at the moment.

In a move the mainstream media saw as an attempt to out the whistle blower, Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX) recently asked a witness about Eric Ciaramella. Later, speaking to a Dallas radio station, Gohmert stated: “A lot of us in Washington know who it is. He’s a very staunch Democrat … a point person on Ukraine, during the time when Ukraine was its most corrupt, and he didn’t blow any whistles on their corruption.”
Lt Colonel Vindman was born in Ukraine, and although commendable, receiving a Purple Heart for being wounded in combat, as he was, doesn’t make him a hero whose every word must be taken as the Gospel. It only means he didn’t shirk his duty and he served honorably, as have so many millions of Americans.
He had a policy difference with President Trump regarding the country of his birth, and despite all the Democrats’ cries of “the Constitution, the Constitution”, Vindman could care less about any alleged violation of the Constitution by Pres. Trump. The gravamen of his complaint focused on the possibility that $380 million was going to be withheld from Ukraine, if the investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden’s Burisma dealings was pressed, alienating D.C. Democrats from the policy of using Ukraine as a tool against Putin and Russia. Essentially, this is a case of a Ukrainian born analyst butting into U.S. policy to ensure U.S. foreign aid continues flowing into Ukraine without objection.
After Schiff announced that the whistle blower might not even testify in a closed session, Republicans noted his motives cannot be properly assessed by the public, if he remains hidden. And Rep. Jim Jordan, head of the House Oversight Committee stated: “It’s tough to determine someone’s credibility if you can’t put them under oath and ask them questions.”
A former top National Security Council official, Tim Morrison, was on that call between President Trump and President Zelensky of Ukraine on July 25th, and Morrison states: “I want to be clear, I was not concerned that anything illegal was discussed.”
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told reporters on October 30th, the following: “I heard the President very clearly on that call talking about making sure that corruption — whether that corruption took place in the 2016 election, whether that corruption was continuing to take place, that the monies that were being provided would be used appropriately. It was very consistent with what I’d understood President Trump and our administration to be doing all along.”
Aid to Ukraine was not withheld and most of the criticism is political opportunism from Democrats, who cared little about Ukraine, until Hillary lost the Big Brass Ring and the ticket to the White House. Trump’s only sin was not requesting anti-corruption assistance through proper channels, because Hunter Biden’s position on the board of Burisma Holdings, while Ol’ Joe was Vice-President of the United States, is a legitimate priority for U.S. and Ukrainian anti-corruption investigations. The Biden’s activities shouldn’t be swept under the rug due to the embarrassment or criminal charges for bribery it may bring some people.
President Trump blurred the line between U.S. national interests and his own personal and political interests a little, but even taking the worst-case scenario on Ukraine — a quid pro quo exchange of foreign aid for political favor — political sin or not, it certainly doesn’t arise to the level of a crime or an impeachable offense.
Any normal decent American fully understands that this is an UGLY and DANGEROUS gambit to undo the 2016 election and throw the 2020 election into turmoil, due to the Democratic Party’s realization that they will not be able to beat President Trump in a FAIR ELECTION PROCESS.
Steaming ahead like an out-of-control train, the Democrats are ignoring the common law definition and the Founders’ understanding of the limited and technical meaning of “high crimes and misdemeanors” centered around abuse of power and grave breaches of trust and the Founders’ rejection of “maladministration”. They are attempting to impeach the president, despite the absence of impeachable offenses, and they are trying to neutralize and destroy President Trump, through a list of alleged impeachable offenses that they change each time one fails to produce the desired results: In the process, they are seeking to exercise control over the president that is not authorized in the Constitution and strictly forbidden by the Framers of the Constitution, since in the absence of any real and specified criminal conduct, the only legitimate remedy for a non-impeachable president lies with the voters, not Congress.

Judicial Watch Senior Investigator Bill Marshall interviews Jack Cashill, author of “Unmasking Obama: The Fight to Tell the True Story of a Failed Presidency” to discuss the corruption scandals of the Obama administration–and how they are still relevant to this day.
In researching the Obama presidency for my upcoming book, “Unmasking Obama,” I cannot help but see a leadership pattern that runs throughout.
Although concocted to explain America’s role in the misbegotten invasion of Libya, the phrase “leading from behind” just about wraps it up.
Barack Obama orchestrated almost nothing during his eight years in the White House. He fronted for stuff. That was his M.O.
He was not the kind of person to give orders. More like England’s Henry II, who reportedly said of Thomas Becket, “Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest,” Obama made suggestions.
Obama made one particular suggestion during an April 10, 2016, appearance on a Fox News Sunday morning show with Chris Wallace.
When asked about Hillary Clinton’s non-secure email system, Obama opined, “She has acknowledged – that there’s a carelessness, in terms of managing emails, that she … recognizes.”
That conceded, Obama added, “I continue to believe that she has not jeopardized America’s national security.”
The task fell to the now notorious Peter Strzok, the FBI’s lead investigator on the email case, to align the FBI’s messaging with the White House’s.
On June 6, 2016, he changed the language in an earlier draft by his boss James Comey from “gross negligence” – the exact words in the Espionage Act – to “extremely careless.”
On July 5, Comey closed the curtain on Act I of Trump-Russia by accusing Hillary only of extreme carelessness and clearing her of criminal charges.
Like Obama, Comey insisted Hillary had no intent to damage national security, although her intent was clearly irrelevant in terms of the law.
Freed from his role in heading up the Clinton investigation, Strzok was conveniently appointed to head up Trump-Russia.
“You’re meant to protect the country from that menace,” his FBI lover Lisa Page texted him on Aug. 5, the “menace” being Trump.
“I’ll try to approach it that way,” the heroic Strzok responded. “I can protect our country at many levels.”
Strzok would have help. Later that same day, Aug. 5, he attended a major inter-agency gathering on the Trump investigation.
Obama’s near immunity from criticism encouraged his co-conspirators to think they could take out the newly elected president of the United States and get away with it.
Strzok quoted an unnamed big shot, possibly the CIA’s John Brennan (name redacted), as saying, “The White House is running this.”
Strzok told Page he pushed back. This was classic turf war. The White House, he believed, was intruding on FBI turf. Strzok wanted this job for himself.
On Aug. 15, Strzok memorably signaled the shared motive of all the conspirators. “There’s no way [Trump] gets elected – but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” he texted Page. “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”
In June 2017, the Washington Post published an exhaustive article detailing the reason for the Aug. 5 meeting Strzok attended.
Brennan had sent an “intelligence bombshell” directly to Obama. This “eyes only” report allegedly had sourcing deep inside the Kremlin, and it outlined “Russian President Vladimir Putin’s direct involvement in a cyber campaign to disrupt and discredit the U.S. presidential race.”
This bombshell was likely the absurd Steele dossier or some variation thereof. According to the report, Putin was not just meddling in the campaign but was actively trying to defeat Hillary and elect Trump.
“It took time,” said the still wide-eyed Post, “for other parts of the intelligence community to endorse the CIA’s view.”
In June 2017, when this article was published, the Post believed “Russia’s interference was the crime of the century.”
It was no such thing, but in documenting the White House’s multi-level response to the alleged threat, the Post sheds light on what was the crime of the century, the White House’s framing of Donald Trump for collusion with Russia.
In his 2018 memoir, “The World As It Is,” Obama foreign policy adviser Ben Rhodes provides a sneak preview of what may prove to be the last messaging campaign of the Obama presidency.
According to insiders, Rhodes was the most influential of Obama’s foreign policy advisers. In the waning days of the Obama administration no foreign policy issue was more critical than Russia’s alleged meddling in the American election.
From Fast and Furious to IRS abuse of the tea party, Obama insisted he learned about his administration’s assaults on justice and common decency only by hearing about them in the media.
The Washington Post article was headlined “Obama’s secret struggle to punish Russia for Putin’s election assault.” After reading it, only the media will believe Rhodes’ claim that Obama “had no idea” the FBI was investigating Trump-Russia.
The memoir Obama was paid mega-bucks to write is reportedly way beyond schedule. Obama is in something of a bind. He does not yet know which crimes and misdemeanors he “had no idea” about.

Bombshell Exclusive: Soros Mole Fiona Hill Is Second White House Whistleblower
Now we know why Google and YouTube worked so hard to erase this video off the web and hide the links!
The second White House whistleblower in the Democrats’ Ukraine witch hunt is none other than George Soros operative Fiona Hill, Infowars has learned.
Infowars was contacted by sources close to the president confirming our suspicions that Fiona Hill is definitely one of the so-called White House whistleblowers involved in the current Ukraine witch hunt against President Trump.
Infowars first reported that Hill worked as a mole for Soros when Trump confidante Roger Stone broke the bombshell in May 2017, revealing that Hill was serving as Soros’ mole under the supervision of former NSA adviser H.R. McMaster.
The video below shows Trump confidante Roger Stone in July 2017 warning that he was told he would be “targeted for annihilation” by the FBI for exposing the mole.
Additionally, this bombshell also helps explain why researcher and frequent Infowars guest Ted Malloch was detained by the FBI during the Russia “collusion” witch hunt in 2018.
This is exactly why Google expunged the search results of these original Infowars videos everywhere — they don’t want the American people to know that Hill is a partisan Soros operative working against Trump.

Further research shows that search results for these videos have been de-indexed – where you’re unable to find results using the exact headlines – in YouTube or Google.
But using the Bing search engine, we were able to find these critical videos from patriotic individuals who actually uploaded them.
This proves that searching for these critical videos on Google or YouTube is actually physically impossible to find where they are still posted, showing premeditated action by Big Tech to censor these bombshell revelations.
This, along with Stone’s arrest, shows premeditation by Big Tech and the Deep State to punish individuals who expose corruption and prevent the story from spreading.
Hill, who left the NSC last summer, isset to testify before Congress next week, where she’ll claim that Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani and EU Ambassdaor [sic] Gordon Sondland improperly informed Trump about certain matters in Ukraine.
“Hill plans to say that Giuliani and Sondland side-stepped the proper process for accessing Trump on Ukraine issues, the person familiar with her expected testimony said, including circumventing John Bolton, who was Trump’s national security adviser until September,” NBC reported Friday.
You’re probably asking, how is Hill the obvious whistleblower but also testifying before Congress?

I am a patriot wishing to help get the nation back on the track of individual freedom, limited government, and above all, back to the Constitution.

By now you have probably read that AG William Barr has appointed John Durham from the DOJ to investigate probable corruption in the process that led to spying on the Trump Campaign of 2016. John Durham, known for prosecuting FBI agents connected to infamous mobster James “Whitey” Bulger, is now a fourth attorney general’s pick to lead a special investigation into suspected government misconduct.
The Justice Department confirmed to media outlets that Attorney General William Barr named Durham, now U.S. attorney for the District of Connecticut, to look into why and how department and FBI officials began investigating associates of President Donald Trump before the 2016 election.
Durham’s resume includes investigating the mafia and crooked politicians.
Attorneys general from the Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama administrations all previously appointed Durham to lead special investigations.
Barr reportedly selected him to head the probe weeks ago, as the FBI came under intensified scrutiny for spying on one Trump campaign adviser and sending a confidential informant to talk to another.
In the aftermath of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report clearing the Trump campaign of conspiracy with Russia to influence the election, many Republican lawmakers called for an investigation into how the probe of Trump and his team commenced.
Two known incidents loom large: The FBI obtained a warrant under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to put Trump campaign aide Carter Page under surveillance. The FBI also sent a confidential informant to talk to George Papadopoulos, another Trump campaign aide, in a bar. The woman told Papadopoulos that her name was Azra Turk, and he later described her as “flirtatious.”
Here are six things to know about the prosecutor picked by Barr.
Career Prosecutor
Durham, 68, began his career as a Connecticut state prosecutor working from 1978 to 1982 in the New Haven State’s Attorney’s Office.
A registered Republican, he next served in nonpolitical positions through 35 years in the U.S. District of Connecticut, based in New Haven.
From 1982 to 1989, Durham supervised the New Haven field office of the Boston Strike Force in the Justice Department’s Organized Crime and Racketeering Section. For the next five years, he was chief of the criminal division for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Haven.
From 1994 through 2008, he served as deputy U.S. attorney, and then, through 2017, as counsel to the U.S. attorney.
Trump’s first attorney general, Jeff Sessions, appointed Durham as acting U.S. attorney for Connecticut in October 2017, and Trump nominated him for the post the next month. He took office in February 2018.
Busting Mafia-FBI Connection
In 1999, then-Attorney General Janet Reno appointed Durham to investigate corruption in federal law enforcement in Boston.
He examined whether two Boston mob figures, Bulger and Stephen “The Rifleman” Flemmi, had corrupted the FBI agents whom they served as informants.
Durham’s investigation led to a 10-year prison sentence for retired FBI agent John Connolly Jr., found guilty of helping the two gangsters avoid prosecution.
As part of this investigation, Durham produced documents showing four men had been framed by FBI agents and convicted of murder in the 1960s. Two died in prison, but two others won a $100 million civil judgment against the Justice Department.
Special Probes of CIA and Terror Detainees
In 2008, then-Attorney General Michael Mukasey appointed Durham as a special prosecutor to conduct what turned into a three-year probe of the destruction of CIA interrogation tapes. Hedidn’t recommend any prosecutions.
In an overlapping probe, then-Attorney General Eric Holder named him as a special prosecutor to investigate alleged mistreatment of terror suspects by CIA interrogators and government contractors.
The second probe came after the Justice Department released a report noting possible past abuse by CIA interrogators. Durham concluded by closing most of the cases, but called for continued inquiries into the deaths of two prisoners.
Devoted Catholic, Red Sox Fan
Despite handling high-profile cases, Durham typically keeps a low profile.
Earlier this year, according to The Day newspaper in New London, Connecticut Deputy Chief State’s Attorney Leonard C. Boyle noted the only reason that Durham would make a public speech to a crowd at the University of St. Joseph, a Roman Catholic school in West Hartford, Connecticut.
“Other than an overwhelming commitment to the cause of justice, the two great devotions of John’s life are his Catholic faith and his family,” Boyle said of Durham.
Durham and his wife Susan have four sons and eight grandchildren. He reportedly is a big Boston Red Sox fan.
The New Republic, a liberal magazine, wrote of Durham in 2011 that he “earned a nonpartisan, camera-shy, ‘white knight’ reputation.”
Public Corruption
Durham led some of the biggest public corruption cases in Connecticut.
Among them was the case of Connecticut Gov. John G. Rowland, a Republican who resigned in 2004 after federal prosecutors found he illegally took gifts from state contractors. Rowland pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a year in prison for offenses committed as governor.
Durham also led an investigation of Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim, a Democrat, who was convicted on racketeering and bribery charges in 2003. Ganim spent six years in prison.
Lauded by Democrats
Democrats recently excoriated Barr for even using the word “spy” to talk about actions by the Obama administration’s FBI and Justice Department against the Trump campaign before the presidential election in November 2016.
However, Democrats could have a difficult time in attacking Durham.
Confirmed as U.S. attorney in February 2018 by a voice vote in the Senate, he had gained praise from Democrats when Trump nominated him.
Among these admirers were two of Trump’s biggest critics, Connecticut’s two Democratic senators—Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy. The two men had recommended Durham to serve as U.S. attorney.
“John Durham has earned immense respect as a no-nonsense, fierce and fair prosecutor, and we are pleased that the White House has agreed with our recommendation that he serve as United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut,” a joint statement by Blumenthal and Murphy said. “As an Assistant United States Attorney, John Durham has proven himself time and time again in some of the most challenging and sensitive cases.”
It looks like Barr has found just such another case for Durham.
Dinesh D’Souza released a documentary in 2012 entitled, “2016: Obama’s America.” The documentary so inflamed Obama by revealing the truth during his reelection year in 2012, he unleashed his DOJ on D’Souza to find anything that enable D’Souza’s arrest to shut him up.
Sound familiar?
The Obama DOJ found that D’Souza made a minor campaign donation infraction in support of Wendy Long’sGOP campaign to gain the Senate seat vacated by Crooked Hillary in New York. Long was clobbered by current Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.

Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, whose documentary 2016: Obama’s America took a critical look at President Barack Obama and was a surprise hit in 2012, will be arrested in New York on Friday for allegedly violating campaign-finance laws, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Federal authorities accuse D’Souza of donating more than is legal to the campaign of Wendy Long, who ran in 2012 for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Hillary Clinton three years earlier but lost to incumbent Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand. Long, though, is not mentioned in an indictment obtained by THR on Thursday.
Insiders say D’Souza has been friends with Long since they attended Dartmouth College together in the early 1980s. According to the indictment, D’Souza donated $20,000 to Long’s campaign by aggregating the money from various people and falsely reporting the source of the funds. Was it a normal occurrence to receive prison time for this kind of campaign violation?
Nothing unleashes mental terror like the thought of spending time in incarceration. It might be an exaggeration to call where Dinesh D’Souza slept for the last eight months jail, but the longtime conservative author, and in recent years anti-Obama filmmaker, was just released from a San Diego work release center.
The place where D’Souza had had to report every night after pleading guilty to campaign finance violations was riddled with hardened violent criminals, but he was far from terrorized or intimidated.
Time served is almost always a subtraction from the life of a convict. Not the case with D’Souza. Not only did he begin writing a new book; he also raised funds for a new film to coincide with next year’s presidential campaign, formulated what will become the sequel to his 2014 film “America: Imagine the World without Her,” taught English to about 100 Hispanic immigrants and in the process claims to have transformed most of them from socialist-leaning Democrats to Republican voters.
D’Souza’s felony conviction was politically motivated, DUH!
Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza claimed Monday that a newly released case file on his 2014 prosecution for violating campaign finance laws shows he was targeted under the Obama administration for “political” reasons.
D’Souza, in an interview on “Fox & Friends,” said that former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara’s office and the Obama administration had been blocking a “congressional oversight committee” from obtaining the file, but Congress has since received it.
Comparing D’Souza’s penalty to the typical penalty:
… As Hamilton elaborated in Federalist No. 74, “The criminal code of every country partakes so much of necessary severity, that without an easy access to exceptions in favor of unfortunate guilt, justice would wear a countenance too sanguinary and cruel.”
The selective, politicized prosecution of conservative author, producer, and activist Dinesh D’Souza was an exercise in gratuitous severity. President Trump’s pardon of D’Souza, announced today, is the remedy the Framers had in mind.
D’Souza was (and is) a strident anti-Obama critic. He committed a trivial campaign-finance violation. This is not to excuse the conduct; it is to reaffirm the principle that the punishment should fit the crime, and to observe that the conduct at issue is typically not treated as a crime at all. Routinely, misconduct of the kind engaged in by D’Souza is settled by payment of an administrative fine to the Federal Election Commission. In stark contrast, the Obama Justice Department not only selectively prosecuted D’Souza; prosecutors turned the case into a multiple felony indictment.
So now the Obama administration has indicted D’Souza for not one but two felony charges, arising out of alleged campaign-finance irregularities. Specifically, he is accused of corruptly reimbursing straw donors to the campaign of Wendy Long, Republican candidate in the New York Senate race — contributions D’Souza could not lawfully make himself because he was already “maxed out” at the $5,000 ceiling.
… The $20,000 amount of the offense alleged is puny — a negligible fraction of the Solyndra scam and a figure that would not even register … It is the kind of case on which the government routinely declines criminal prosecution, handling, instead, by an administrative fine.
D’Souza has no criminal record. Moreover, contrary to myriad voter-fraud violations that Attorney General Holder will not lift a finger to pursue, the transactions at issue posed no conceivable threat to the integrity of the election process: Ms. Long lost by 46 points. …

As Legal Insurrection’s Bill Jacobson notes, the 2008 Obama campaign was caught illegally hiding not $20,000 but nearly $2 million in irregular contributions (in addition to dragging its feet on the return of millions more in suspect donations). You probably don’t remember that because — I know this will shock you — the Obama Justice Department didn’t prosecute anyone. It was considered a mere hiccup: resolved by a fine considerably smaller than the $500,000 in bail D’Souza was forced to post lest he be detained pending trial on his multiple-felony indictment for conduct worth 25 times less that amount.
The Obama Justice Department’s extortionate tactic of turning a regulatory violation into a potential seven-year felony put enormous pressure on D’Souza to plead guilty. When he did, rather than just accept its pound of flesh, the Justice Department aggressively pushed for a prison sentence. This is a cross post of Western Journalism and WND about the indictments of Paul Manafort and Rick Gates as well as an apparent plea deal for George Papadopoulos squeezed for lying about his interaction with Russians that perhaps Papadopoulos should have registered as a foreign agent. The Papadopoulos plea deal is a bit sketchy because he was a volunteer with a bit of uncertainty if acting on his own volition or was coached by someone to contact Russians.
Before posting this morning, I was watching Fox and Friends inattentively. A gal was interviewed in which I didn’t catch her profession. However, I saw her again on my DVR recorded premiered show called Fox News at Night with Shannon Bream. On Bream’s news show I discovered her name is Sidney Powell a former Prosecutor and author of Licensed to Lie. She criticized the wording of the indictment as being weak citing laws and statutes that she believes have a sketchy application. Powell also criticized Mueller’s lead prosecutor Andrew Weissmann for sketch prosecutorial practices. Here is a quote about Weissman similar to what Powell said on Fox and Friends:

I need to note that when I Googled the indictments against Paul Manafort and Rick (Richard) Gates, the Google search results went primarily to Leftist news sites and the Left oriented Mainstream Media (MSM). The headlines of those searches indicate disgusting glee that the indictments against Manafort and Gates will soon bring down President Donald Trump. This Fake News glee was related even though the loosely worded indictments are focused on Manafort/Gates business dealing with Russia before Barack Obama was even President.

Paul Manafort, the former campaign chairman for President Donald Trump who left the Trump campaign under a cloud amid allegations of improper dealings involving the consulting business he had previously operated, turned himself in to the FBI on Monday, according to multiple reports.
Manafort and longtime associate Rick Gates, who joined and left the Trump campaign at the same time as Manafort, were indicted as part of the investigation headed by special counsel Robert Mueller.
Mueller was appointed to head up a wide-ranging investigation into allegations that there had been collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Manafort and Gates were indicted on 12 charges, including “conspiracy against the United States,” “conspiracy to launder money” and “false statements.”
The NewYork Times reported Manafort “had been under investigation for violations of federal tax law, money laundering and whether he appropriately disclosed his foreign lobbying.”

Manafort arrived at the FBI’s field office in Washington on Monday morning. Gates turned himself in shortly afterward.
Manafort’s home was raided by the FBI in July, and a number of documents were seized at that time.
Manafort, who piloted Trump’s campaign between June and August 2016, has been under investigation by the FBI and Justice Department for his relationship with former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
At the time of Manafort’s departure from the Trump campaign, The AssociatedPress reported that from 2012 to 2014, Manafort and Gates had been involved in a lobbying effort to increase American support for a pro-Russian Ukrainian government and did not disclose that they were working for a foreign government as required under federal law.
Under the Foreign Agent Registration Act, Manafort retroactively registered in June with the Justice Department for the work he did during that time, for which he was paid more than $17 million.
“Paul’s work ended well before he joined Candidate Trump’s campaign,” spokesman Jason Maloni said in a statement at the time, according to Politico. “Paul was not simultaneously working as a foreign agent while he was working for Trump.”
White House attorney Ty Cobb has said Trump has no fears that Manafort might trade damaging testimony against Trump for a lighter sentence in some sort of deal.
“The president hasno concerns in terms of any impact, as to what happens to them, on his campaign or on the White House,” Cobb said.
Trump has said that his campaign never colluded with Russia.

MANAFORT INDICTED, CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEER PLEADS GUILTY IN RUSSIA PROBE
Former Trump chairman charged with conspiring to defraud U.S. in dealings with Ukraine
WASHINGTON – Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and an associate surrendered to federal authorities Monday on felony charges of conspiracy against the United States and other charges in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian influence on the 2016 election.
Meanwhile, a former campaign adviser to President Donald Trump, George Papadopoulos, entered a guilty plea in the investigation, admitting he lied to the FBI about his contacts with Russians.
The indictment swept up Manafort’s onetime business partner and protégé Rick Gates, but it makes no allegations about the 2016 election. Both pleaded not guilty.
It alleges 12 counts, including conspiracy against the U.S., conspiracy to launder money, being an unregistered foreign agent, misleading statements and failing to file reports of foreign bank accounts. The charges relate to overseas business operations.

Papadopoulos, whose Oct. 5 guilty plea was unsealed Monday, admitted lying to FBI agents about the nature of his interactions with “foreign nationals” offering “dirt” on Clinton who allegedly were attempting to line up a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Mueller’s filing, Papadopoulos met with a female Russian national on March 24, 2016, shortly after learning he had become a campaign adviser. Papadopoulos believed the Russian had connections with the Russian government and could arrange a meeting with the Trump campaign. The next month, he met with a professor in London who said operatives in Moscow had “thousands” of Hillary Clinton’s emails. The filing, however, does not specify whether the reference was to the emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee’s computers.
Responding to reporters at the White House press briefing Monday, press secretary Sarah Sanders said Papadopoulos didn’t have an influential role in the campaign, describing him as a volunteer on an advisory council that met one time during the year.
“Any actions he took would have been on his own,” Sanders said.
In a tweet Monday morning, Trump emphasized the Manafort indictment had nothing to do with Russian collusion.
“Sorry, but this is years ago, before Paul Manafort was part of the Trump campaign,” Trump tweeted. ‘But why aren’t Crooked Hillary & the Dems the focus?????”
“Also, there is NO COLLUSION!” he said.
Mueller was appointed to investigate claims of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign after the Democrats’ 2016 election loss, but now there are allegations against Democrats.
Last week, the Washington Post reported Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid for the research for the largely fabricatedanti-Trump dossier. Late Wednesday, a complaint wasfiled with the Federal Election Commission charging Clinton’s campaign and the DNC violated campaign finance law by failing to disclose payments for the dossier. Also last week, a source claimed that the Podesta Group, run by John Podesta’s brother Tony, is a target of Mueller’sinvestigation. And The Hill reported that before a government panel in which Hillary Clinton was a member approved the sale of a company controlling 20 percent of U.S. uranium reserves, the FBI was sitting on evidence Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to expand Moscow’s nuclear business in the U.S.
In addition, a congressional inquiry led by Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., is focusing on how aides to President Obama “unmasked” individuals caught up in government surveillance.
Manafort has denied wrongdoing. Many of the charges date back as far as 2006.
Among the allegations is that Manafort moved $75 million to offshore accounts without declaring the income for taxation purposes. He then allegedly used $18 million to “fund a lavish lifestyle,” as the London Daily Mail described it.
FBI agents staged an early morning raid on Manafort’s home last summer, confiscating records.
According to the New York Times, Gates’ name appears on documents linked to companies that Manafort’s firm established in Cyprus to receive payments from his clients in Eastern Europe.
President Trump’s lawyer, Ty Cobb, assured reporters last week Manafort does not have damaging information about the president to offer prosecutors.
“The president has no concerns in terms of any impact, as to what happens to them, on his campaign or on the White House,” Cobb said.
Manafort joined the Trump campaign in March 2016 and developed a strategy that convinced delegates not to break with Trump in favor of establishment candidates. Trump then appointed the veteran Republican strategist as chairman and chief strategist of his campaign.
Months later, Trump fired Manafort after learning his chairman received more than $12 million in undisclosed payments from former Ukrainian president Victor F. Yanukovych, who he spent years working for as a political consultant.
The case advanced amid claims Russian President Vladimir Putin colluded with Trump campaign officials to rig the 2016 presidential election against Hillary Clinton.
Mueller was appointed by the Justice Department in May to lead the investigation into Trump campaign officials’ relationships with Russian operatives. But the focus now actually may be turning to the Democrats.
President Trump contends the “real Russia story” is the sale of 20 percent of U.S. uranium assets to a Russian company under Clinton’s watch.
Critics also have pointed to Mueller’s relationship with fired FBI chief James Comey and the fact that he stacked his team of investigators with lawyers who had openly supported Hillary Clinton in the election. The Mail reported it was unclear if Mueller still has a strategy to “squeeze” Manafort” for information about the 2016 election “and Russian’s possible interference with it.”
The allegations concern actions that all predate the Trump campaign, and Trump’s name doesn’t appear in the 31-page indictment by Mueller, who in the document makes no allegations of collusion with Russia.
The case has been assigned to Judge Amy Jackson, an Obama appointee.

I have had only limited knowledge of the justification used by the BLM in trying to use armed force and property seizure against Cliven Bundy and family. Even Fox News though sympathetic with the Bundy family, gave legal opinions from their contributors – Liberal and Conservative alike – that the BLM had an authentic judicial case against the Bundys.

Read and be outraged by the truth of BLM vs. Cliven Bundy!
Cliven Bundy’s twenty year battle over grazing rights became tense and volatile on April 10, 2014, when supporters protested and confronted Bureau of Land Management officers, who had illegally confiscated Bundy cattle, private property, calling them “trespass” cattle. A 1998 court order required Bundy to remove the livestock and pay damages for trespassing; since then, the BLM has exceeded its authority in its attempts to enforce BLM regulations. It is also now evident that Bundy did, in fact, have preemptive rights, which superseded federal claims to the land. And, while this confrontation was troubling and riveting, it is just a small part of a much greater federal assault on all private property rights across America.
An estimated 200 BLM armed officers deployed to the Bundy ranch in Bunkerville, Nevada, and over the period of three days, they threw Bundy’s 57 year old sister, a cancer survivor, to the ground, tasered one son and arrested another for not protesting in a “designated free speech zone”. The BLM also actually had snipers targeting the protesters, but unknown to them at the time, they had been flanked and militia members from Montana, Texas and Utah had them in their scopes.
Several elected officials were deeply troubled by what they saw. Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval, who could have de-escalated the matter by interceding, only remarked, “No cow justifies the atmosphere of intimidation which currently exists nor the limitation of constitutional rights that are sacred to all Nevadans.” But, Arizona Rep Kelly Townsend was so disturbed by the BLM’s actions that he drove to the Bundy ranch, and later he stated, “I don’t recognize my country at this point,”
Since the BLM retreated and ended their siege, Sen. Harry Reid has called the Bundy family “domestic terrorists”, and he has stated that action against the Bundy family would continue; however, as Texas Rep. Steve Stockman (R) explained in a letter to Obama, BLM Director Neil Kornze and Interior Secretary Sally Jewel, the BLM acted in a lawless manner, because it had no “right to assume preemptory police powers; and, it was required to seek assistance, if force was necessary, from local law enforcement”, under U.S. code – 43 U.S.C. Section 1733, Subsection C (April 17, Chris Agee, Western Journalism).
Regardless of the coercive manner the federal government acquired this land upon Nevada gaining statehood in 1864, there remains States’ rights and property rights issues, and, according to the BLM’s own regulations concerning improvements and land patents, under sections 49.3.3 – public lands division and 49.3.4 – private lands division, Mr. Cliven Bundy did hold preemptive rights to this land in question. Land patents are the first conveyance of title of ownership to land, which the U.S. grants a citizen who applies for one. As an assignee to his grandfather’s land patents from 1877, Bundy’s grazing rights fell under these rules, as well as the Homestead Act, which states that this land “cannot be held liable in order to satisfy any debt”, which includes the $300,000 in grazing fees Bundy admits owing to the State of Nevada and Clark County; this is the reason the BLM went after the “trespass” cattle, although their court order did not authorize the seizure and sale of these cattle.
While it is true that initially much of the problem started in the 1990s and after the Environmental Protection Agency declared 600,000 acres “protected federal land”, due to the “endangered desert tortoise”, this tortoise is no longer on the endangered list. So, why is the land still considered “protected”?
The answer is found in over 50 renewable energy projects slated for this land, many of which have been lobbied before Congress by Rory Reid, Senator Harry Reid’s son. The tortoises’ “endangered” status was ignored when Harry Reid pressured the BLM to allow one of his top donors, Harvey Whittemore – convicted of illegal campaign contributions to Reid in 2013, to develop some of the land. The tortoises’ manufactured plight was again ignored, when the communist Chinese ENN Energy Group wanted to buy 9,000 acres in the area for a solar energy farm, at a reduced price of $4.5 million, down from its appraised value of approximately $36 million, according to Reuters.
Neil Kornze, appointed by Senator Harry Reid to head the BLM, and, Sen. Reid’s son, Rory Reid have both had their hands in numerous renewable energy projects that considered Bundy’s land and surrounding areas. As of March 21, Kornze was assisting Jonathan Magaziner, an associate of the Clinton Foundation, in his Moapa Southern Paiute Project; and, they have both been instrumental in helping First Solar and CEO Michael Ahearn, former fundraiser for both Reid and Obama, get his project in the area for investors Al Gore, Ted Turner and Goldman Sachs and billionaire Obama fundraiser, Paul Jones, as reported by James Simpson at WND.
Also in March, the EPA and the Corps of Engineers have colluded to redefine “navigable waters” and impose a new rule, Waters of the United States that would give them authority over streams on private property, even when the water beds have been dry for hundreds of years, in conjunction with the Clean Water Act. And, as pointed out by Rep Harold Rogers (KY-R), this is “the biggest land grab in the history of the world”, and the economic impact will be profound, essentially freezing economic activity in America.
This sort of regulation allows the EPA to join the BLM, the Dept. of Energy and the Army in dictating to the American people, on a massive scale, everything from grazing rights, food production, animal units per month per acre/animal health and the use of energy on private lands. The true goal here is the enrichment of Progressive Democrats at the taxpayers’ expense, as they place every last foot of private land under government control, essentially destroying private property rights.
This is a “land management” nightmare straight from the marxofascist ideology of the Progressives, which implements the “sustainable development” of UN Agenda 21 through the illegal and unConstitutional Obama Executive Order 13575 that circumvented Congressional votes rejecting this direction for America. It is beyond me for any reason this is not big news even for the MSM. I do recall this mentioned in passing on a FOX News channel show of which I can’t recall at this moment.
The story says that STRATFOR VP Fred Burton let then candidate for VP know of ballot box stuffing in the States of Ohio and Pennsylvania. These are two large States in the Electoral College.
McCain chose not to act on the information. My guess for the reason McCain did not act on the info is because Obama would still have won the election because 270 was the plateau for winning. If there was verified info the Ohio and Pennsylvania were stolen States, I believe that would have been a great pretext to examine vote tallies in other States. For example Florida was a close race and was worth 27 Electoral Votes.Indiana was a close race in which Obama won by a mere .9% over McCain with the Electoral Votes being 11. Obama won North Carolina by a mere .04% and that was 15 Electoral Votes. Obama won Virginia by a mere 6% and those Electoral Votes were 13. If there were Obama/Dem Party shenanigans in some of these even closer elections than Ohio and Pennsylvania it would have raised McCain 280 Electoral Votes and reducing Obama to 258 Electoral Votes.
In this case McCain wins the Electoral College in 2008 280 to 258.
