The Greatest Crime In American History

It is a sad state of American affairs when the American Free Press (aka Mainstream Media or MSM or Dem-Marxist Propaganda Machine) is so devoted in transforming America away from its Founding Principles that very press fails to inform Americans of treasonous events and people that rival the threat America faced in history from General Benedict Arnold and a former Vice President Aaron Burr. Due to press failure you will find this documented info from Justin Smith of huge interest!

The Greatest Crime In American History

RussiaGate: The Smoking Guns – Treason Should Come With a Price

President Trump authorized John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence, to declassify all documents that prove former CIA Director John Brennan briefed former President Obama on Hillary Clinton’s plan to tie Donald Trump to Russia, [JOS] the greatest political crime in history“, during the 2016 presidential campaign, to distract America away from her illegal use of a private email server.

President Trump called on Attorney General Barr to indict Obama and Biden in connection with the Russia investigation.]

The President has also publicly urged Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to release more of Clinton’s emails in an attempt to be more aggressive in running Barack Obama, Joe Biden, James Comey, John Brennan and many other deep state traitors to ground, who actively engaged in a criminal conspiracy to overthrow a duly elected president of the United States of America, and just today (October 9th) Pompeo, in fact, told Fox News that he would be doing just so in the coming weeks.

Reported by Brooke Singman for Fox News on October 6th, handwritten notes were taken by Brennan after he briefed Obama on the scheme. This was a scheme Obama not only embraced but kept going through his administration’s abuse of FISA Warrants and unmasking of Trump loyalists.

This information was released after Ratcliffe informed the Senate Judiciary Committee that U.S. intelligence officials forwarded an investigative referral on Clinton on September 7th 2016, regarding her stamp of approval on “a plan concerning U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russia hackers hampering elections” in order to hurt Trump and turn the public eye away from the investigation into her email scandal.

One part of Brennan’s notes read: “We’re getting additional insight into Russian activities from (REDACTED). CITE (summarizing) alleged approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.”

Also in [JOS] the notes, one finds items implicating then-FBI Director James Comey, National Security Advisor Susan Rice and Obama Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, through the simple scribbling of “JC”, “Susan” and “Denis”.

[Blog Editor: Scribd embed based on Justin Smith embedded link above:]

Throughout the recent Senate Judiciary Hearing, James Comey continuously pleaded ignorance of the referral saying it didn’t “ring any bells” and didn’t “sound familiar”.

In a clip from [JOS] Sunday Morning Futures on October 4th, Representative Devin Nunes, the highest ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said: “The documents that are underlying what we now have seen, I have only seen a few of those — they’re smoking guns. That information definitely needs to be made available to the American public” — as he also declared quite emphatically — “Every Republican senator and member of Congress should be saying … we want every damn bit of evidence that every intelligence agency has or maybe it’s time to shut those agencies down.”

The plot thickens once one discovers that the entire approval of this scheme came implicitly from Obama and Biden himself, who also suggested using the Logan Act against Trump’s pick for DNI, General Michael Flynn, and their infiltration of the 2016 Presidential Campaign itself set up the machinations needed for their Soft Coup, in the “unlikely event”, in their minds, that Trump should actually win. Part of this scheme required getting Gina Haspel, who was at the time the head of the CIA London office, on board with the operation, since the FBI needed to fabricate a foreign counterintelligence “event” in order to pretend this operation was remotely legal. And this is the reason that all America now witnesses Haspel refusing to release documents from the CIA that have bearing on this, since she would have to reveal her own involvement and acts of treason.

One should keep a close eye on any new developments inside the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, especially if focus bears down on ranking member Mark Warner (D-VA) and the fact that he acted very aggressively to disseminate the Steele Dossier disinformation, between 2016 and 2017, in cooperation with The Democracy Integrity Project, a George Soros funded organization, that was overseen and operated by Dan Jones, chief of staff to Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA), and Adam Waldman, a go between for Christopher Steele and Warner. And it is far from insignificant that Waldman was also a lobbyist, raking in $40,000 a month, who worked for Oleg Deripaska, a Russian billionaire and Clinton Foundation donor, to the tune of at least one million dollars. How curious it is to also discover that Deripaska also employed Christopher Steele as a disinformation errand boy. Untangling this one will be like untangling a nest of water moccasins after a spring thaw.

[Blog Editor: The Russian Deripaska connection to Christopher Steele is significantly disturbing, but it sounds to me Deripaska might have been in the beginning stages of grooming Paul Manafort via greed/blackmail to be a Russian mole. We may never know because the Trump-hate team prosecutors headed by corrupt Mueller convicted Manafort on unrelated-to-Trump tax crimes:

The United States Department of Justice must accelerate its investigations and start taking real action against those known plotters of the ongoing coup attempt against President Trump, slowing down not one iota, since its current unraveling of the plot is providing the smoking guns that exhibit many people, within the Obama administration, were active parties in its planning and implementation. Even before President Trump authorized the declassification, ample evidence was on display that suggested the guilt of many high officials throughout the Obama administration, and many others who were held over into the Trump administration.

Speaking with Rush Limbaugh on October 9th, President Trump stated he was unaware that U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr wouldn’t be releasing the findings from the Durham Investigation before November 3rd, and he added that if this was in fact the case, he would “be very disappointed in him”.

In an October 8th interview with Fox Business host, Maria Bartiromo, President Trump stated [via transcript]: “These are people that spied on my campaign, and we have everything. Now they (the DOJ) say they have much more, OK. And I say, ‘Bill, we got plenty, you don’t need anymore.’ … (Later adding) … To be honest, Bill Barr is going to go down as either the greatest attorney general in the history of the country or he’s going to go down as, you know, a very sad situation. Unless Bill Barr indicts these people for crimes … then we’re going to get little satisfaction unless I win. But these people should be indicted; this was the greatest political crime in the history of our country. And that includes Obama and it includes Biden.”

An abundance of evidence released this past week quite incontrovertibly proves that everybody in Obama’s executive branch was fully aware that the Russia Gambit was a Hillary campaign ploy, and they still went along with it and weaponized their respective offices into the scheme, as they assumed Clinton couldn’t lose and they would never be exposed for the traitors to America they most certainly are.

But, Hillary lost and the ship is sinking, taking along all its red, radical Democratic Party communist rats, squeaking and squealing in desperation shown in all their actions that have unfolded over the past three years. But this is only a small part of their overall operation, exhibited by their unified operations state by state to exert lockdowns, gun control and all manner of suppression of our Bill of Rights, and no one should believe that the Democratic Reds’ reign of terror will end with the end of this saga, whatever its ignominious end. And in the meantime, conservative America reviles and castigates Jim Comey and his perfidious sedition, as he testifies to Congress, braying out, “I can’t recall” on very nearly every question.

Ratcliffe’s information arrives in the wake of many publications and a ream of documents unsealed last month that reveal FBI agents on the Trump-Russia probe acquired professional liability insurance, worried their investigation had crossed legal lines, and President Trump has received this news, as further proof of their culpability and involvement in a “coup” against him. Worried hell. They know, and any backwoods fool knows, that they broke numerous federal laws. Whatever the case is finally proven to be, somehow it seems most unlikely that professional liability insurance is going to shield anyone from the consequences of their acts of treason against a sitting president and the United States of America.

The snakes are being flushed from their dens. There’s a price one pays, when one participates in a coup and betrays one’s country.

However, with twenty-some-odd days left before Election Day, unfortunate as it is, unless everything is declassified immediately and placed in front of the American public, it’s highly likely that the deep state’s gambit of dragging its heels and sitting on the information, or releasing heavily redacted copies, will be rewarded with them escaping the justice and the gallows or firing squad. Trump is full well within his rights and authority to move Heaven and Earth and all the legal firepower he holds to have his staff walk into the FBI and the CIA and clear out their files, to preserve the records and all the evidence of treason, before they disappear. Short of this, these traitors and this Deep State cabal will have gotten away with the greatest crime in American history.

Numerous smoking guns and reams of readily seen solid facts and evidence, both first hand and circumstantial, prove beyond any shadow of doubt that Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, Susan Rice, James Clapper, Samantha Power and hundreds more across several federal agencies actively engaged in a criminal conspiracy to oust President Trump by criminal means and overthrow the U.S. republic itself. And, despite all the other assaults America is currently suffering from the Democratic Party Communists, such as Representative Nancy Pelosi ludicrously seeking to invoke the 25th Amendment against President Trump, this administration still must bring these traitors to their oaths, the Constitution and America to justice. Once all the evidence is in front of the people, it most assuredly should result in the conviction of these anti-American slugs, but these aren’t normal times anymore. Still, once all the evidence has proven to be fact and the truth, every traitor who took part in this operation must be prosecuted and imprisoned for life or executed, depending on their level of involvement.

After all of this, if no one is hoisted on the Hanging Tree, or at least thrown in a prison cell, all America will understand that there really isn’t any “rule of law” in America any longer, and it will serve to hasten our descent into civil war, as the enemies of America in the Democratic Party continue to commit treason against America with impunity and trample the Bill of Rights at will, each time power rests in their hands.

Impeachment Weaponized

The Democrats’ Disgrace

By Justin O. Smith
Last Updated 9/28/2019 10:44 PM

What these guys are doing to this country is a disgrace, and it shouldn’t be allowed.” ~ President Donald J. Trump

Impeachment and ending President Trump’s presidency has been the sole agenda of the Democrats in Congress, since even before his inauguration, and the recent Gossip Leaker’s third hand information and “revelations” concerning a phone call between President Trump and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has sparked allegations of a “quid pro quo” situation that ignited the latest media dumpster fire and finally provoked Speaker Nancy Pelosi to call for an “impeachment inquiry” on September 24th, even though the President has committed no wrong in this instance. This is the first move in a ruse to deflect from major problems within the Democratic Party in the lead up to the 2020 election and see President Trump defeated one way or another, if their wildest desires are fulfilled.

Unfortunately, America is witness to the death of truth in this age of disinformation, that has made narratives the political weapon of choice to harass, neutralize and impede President Trump’s policy agenda. Their big gun of Russian Collusion failed, the “racism” narrative is failing too, and so now, the Ukraine Quid Pro Quo narrative is next in the chute.

Democrats assert that President Trump’s mention of an investigation into Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden — Democrat candidate for president, and allegations of corruption regarding his ties to a Ukrainian energy company is an impeachable offense. They fail to question Hunter’s placement on the board of Burisma, despite a complete lack of any qualifications, other than access to the Vice-President. They fail to mention that the corruption investigation into Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company, and Hunter’s ties to Burisma was squashed, due to then Vice-President Joe Biden’s threat to withhold one billion dollars in aid, unless Viktor Shokin, Ukraine’s top prosecutor, was fired, which is the real “quid pro quo” they don’t want to acknowledge.

One certainly cannot ignore Joe’s own words: “I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well … He got fired.”

Hypocrisy and the ol’ Democratic Party hypocrisy are on full display, too, since it seems that not a single person was ever concerned over recent attempts by Democrats to strong arm and coerce Ukraine to continue four investigations important to Mueller’s Russia-Gate/Trump ‘collusion” investigation.

Approximately five months ago, Senators Richard Durbin, Patrick Leahy and Robert Menendez, all Democrats, wrote a letter to Yuriy Lutsenko, Ukraine’s prosecutor general, expressing concerns over these investigations that were being closed, and they implied that their support for U.S. assistance to Ukraine was at stake.

They are pinning their hopes to the transcript, that President Trump recently released. But isn’t it curious that no one knew what was actually stated in that conversation, not even the so-called “whistle blower”, prior to the Democrats once again, in their ever present relentless style, screeching out their lies, false claims and cries for impeachment. There is so much about this story that stinks of another pre-planned event.

As events and manufactured Constitutional crises continue to unfold, it brings to mind a not so veiled threat from Senator Chuck Schumer in January 2017: Schumer stated: “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”

And true to those words, the Intel Community has acted as an adversary and antagonist against the President from that point on. One might rightly also surmise and suspect that the now rogue CIA has captured The New York Times, National Public Radio, The Washington Post, The L.A. Times and many other television cable news networks as well, and they have become a joint force that represents an enemy of the American people.

One should note that the Gossip Leaker is purportedly a CIA agent assigned to the White House — possibly Michael Barry, an assassination expert — whose complaint was composed as a legal brief, which suggests it is the work of several lawyers. The Gossip Leaker’s lawyer is Andrew Bakaj, a former CIA employee who once interned for both Senator Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton; ‘The Washingtonian’ reports that Bakaj “actually wrote the CIA’s internal rules on whistleblowing”. If so, Form 401 must have slipped his mind.

Does anyone really believe this “whistleblower” is motivated by pure patriotic conscientiousness? I certainly do not.

Gossip Leaker’s complaint states: “I was not a direct witness to most of the events described. However I found my colleagues’ accounts of these events to be credible because, in almost all cases, multiple officials recounted fact patterns that were consistent with one another.”

[Blog Editor – Of interest: Whistleblower’s Complaint Against Trump Cites George Soros-Funded NGO; By Tom Ozimek; The Epoch Times; 9/27/19]

The Intelligent Community Inspector General Form 401 page ii, Urgent Concern Disclosure Form reads as follows: “In order to find an urgent concern “credible”, the IC IG must be in possession of reliable, firsthand information. The IC IG cannot transmit information via the Intel Community Whistleblower Protection Act based on an employee’s secondhand knowledge of wrongdoing. This includes information received from another person, such as when a fellow employee informs you that he/she witnessed some type of wrongdoing. … Similarly, speculation about the existence of wrongdoing does not provide sufficient legal basis to meet the statutory requirements of the ICWPA.”

In other words, secondhand information must be dismissed out of hand. And if this Leaker was so concerned, he should have approached each of the “multiple” people with firsthand information and pressed them to come forward. Why hasn’t anyone with firsthand information presented a similar concern?

Updated info: I am evidently using the old 401 guidelines. Judge Jeanine just reported this evening – Sept 24th – that the rules concerning whistleblower information was changed to accept hearsay info, just 2 days before the CIA whistleblower wrote his complaint; this changes things to a certain degree, but it doesn’t change the deception or the corruption we are witnessing from our own intelligence community, as they try to circumvent a long held policy of rejecting hearsay and second and third hand conversations.

More details on suspicious Whistleblower source changes: Intel Community Secretly Gutted Requirement Of First-Hand Whistleblower Knowledge; By Sean Davis; The Federalist; 9/27/19

Screengrab of changes from The Federalist:

1st Hand knowledge Requirement Prior 9/24/19

2nd Hand Knowledge Whistleblower Acceptable AFTER 9/24/19

How the Inspector General ever determined the complaint was both “credible” and “urgent” is beyond me. The Department of National Intelligence did not see it to be a valid complaint, due to the lack of evidence supporting the complaint, and the DNI refused to release it to Congress.

Moments prior to testimony given by acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire, Representative Devin Nunes (R), member of the House Intelligence Committee, recently stated: “The Inspector General did not know the contents of the phone call at issue. The Inspector General found that the whistleblower displayed arguable political bias against Trump. The Department of Justice investigated the complaint and determined no action was warranted.”

There isn’t anything within the released transcript that arises to the level of a crime or an impeachable offense. President Zelensky was unaware that a previously approved U.S. defense package had been suspended, so a quid pro quo couldn’t have existed. He also has definitively stated that he was not placed under any pressure from President Trump, who only mention the Biden corruption case once. President Trump did not ask for fabricated evidence against Joe Biden eight times as asserted by Representative Adam Schiff, a liar of unparalleled notoriety. [Bold Emphasis Blog Editor’s]

However, the news isn’t good, as the Democrats contort themselves in a manner that would rival the most daring circus acts, to find something, anything, sinister in the quotes from Pres. Trump’s phone call with Pres. Zelensky. High crimes, misdemeanors and illegal acts exist in the Gossip Leaker’s complaint only in the minds and black hearts of Trump’s fiercest critics, which shouldn’t surprise anyone given the lack of integrity and literacy regarding the law, in their ranks; whistleblower laws are meant to protect brave souls who seek to stop any malfeasance and abuse of power, and they do not extend to miscreants seeking to use the law as a weapon against the President of the United States.

The Democrats haven’t formalized the impeachment process yet, since this is still an investigation in search of a crime. Once they actually win a vote in the House to move forward with impeachment, they will have to afford President Trump due process under the law.

Isn’t it ironic to find that Representative Adam Schiff once cautioned against an unwarranted push for impeachment?

On May 4th 2018, Adam Schiff wrote: “Impeachment is an extraordinary remedy, not to be entertained lightly, and in the case of a president, would mean putting the country through a deeply wrenching process. It is instead a remedy that must be considered soberly, mindful of the fact that removing a president from office should be the recourse for only the most serious transgressions.

Should the facts warrant impeachment, that case will be made more difficult politically if part of the country feels that removing Mr. Trump is the result that some of their fellow Americans were wishing for all along.”

Republican president or Democrat president, it matters not one bit, if a real crime has been committed against the United States by any president on any given day and he has betrayed the office, the Constitution and the trust of the American people, such a president must be removed. But this isn’t the time or such a case to go to such an extreme measure and use what once was a rare tool in the hands of Congress to be used at a point of grave crisis in American life, and more importantly, we, the American people, must stop allowing impeachment to be abused and ever more and increasingly weaponized by any political party intent on preserving its own power, in the current manner of the Democratic Party, which has already introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump on four occasions.

Something or somebody needs to do all within their ability and authority to end these seditious turpitudes. The machinery of the law must be turned on those who would betray America to Her enemies and the Deep State. U.S. Attorney General William Barr has the opportunity to do just that, so long as he doesn’t tarry too long and he strikes while the iron is hot.

This is a struggle that pits the American people and President Trump, who are fighting to preserve American traditions, principles and sovereignty, against Deep State agents and Communist bureaucratic academics deep within our federal government and their Democratic Party supporters among half the nation, who hold an unhinged hatred of Trump and currently seem to answer to transnationalists and globalists and have our nation’s destiny in an iron grip. They are unleashing everything imaginable and then some, unmindful of the push their actions give towards civil war, in their effort to undermine the Trump administration, making it more apparent than ever, that President Trump must purge the CIA and many other agencies, under the Executive Branch [Bold Emphasis Blog Editor’s], seven ways from Sunday in order to counter multiple Democratic Party initiated seditious shenanigans and acts of outright treason against America, aimed at undoing the results of the 2016 election.

8 Times Obama’s Intelligence Agencies Set People Up To Fabricate The Russia Story

Now here is a collusion list that is sure to inspire massive lying deflection with such beginning phrases as “But Trump did …

Have you noticed that NOT one scintilla of corroborated evidence has been produced to suggest that President Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016? My God! It’s 2018 and the Dems pulling all the stops and lies to remove the President from Office.

AND YET, there is a huge (or YUGE) amount of public information of not only collusion but also corruption within the Obama/Crooked Hillary camp to steal the 2016 election or (in the blessed event that won Trump won) impeach the President.

Willis L. Krumholz writing for The Federalist illustrates a clear picture of actions that should lead to criminal prosecution.

8 Times Obama’s Intelligence Agencies Set People Up To Fabricate The Russia Story

These events should anger any red-blooded American who believes in representative democracy and the importance of the rule of law.

Daily Briefing – Obama & Clapper

By Willis L. Krumholz

JUNE 6, 2018

The Federalist

The intelligence bureaucracies spied on the Donald Trump campaign: Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants were granted because of a Hillary Clinton-funded and unverified document, national-security letters were issued to allow warrantless spying, and the unprecedented but not-illegal-per-se unmasking of Trump officials’ conversations with non-U.S. persons was shockingly routine.

Yet the news of a CIA-connected human source operating as far back as April or May of 2016 is about more than just spying. It is the latest example in what now looks to be a long line of attempted setups by the Clinton team, many times aided and abetted by our intelligence bureaucracies.

These events should anger any red blooded American who believes in representative democracy and the importance of the rule of law. Let’s review eight examples.

  1. CIA And FBI ‘Human Intelligence’

We’ve just learned about Stefan Halper, a CIA-connected Cambridge professor who — working for the FBI — contacted Trump advisers Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, and Sam Clovis during the 2016 election, to investigate what they might know about suspicions of collusion with Russia. Former Trump campaign aide Michael Caputo has claimed that he was approached by an unknown second U.S. intelligence community asset in early May of 2016.

The FBI says that the Russia investigation began in July, because of something Papadopoulos said to an Australian diplomat in May. Papadopoulos had supposedly told the Australian diplomat something about Russia having information that “could be damaging” to Clinton. Papadopoulos allegedly heard this from Joseph Mifsud, a Maltese-born professor who allegedly claimed to have close ties with Russia.

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team charged Papadopoulos — unconvincingly — with lying to investigators, because Papadopoulos said his contacts with Mifsud began before he was on the Trump campaign. Actually, the contacts started after he “learned he would be a foreign policy advisor for the campaign,” but before the campaign made a public announcement that he was to be an advisor.

Mifsud is strangely now in hiding, possibly fearing for his life. Lee Smith details Mifsud’s ties to Western intelligence agencies, and Margot Cleveland suspects Mifsud may have been a U.S. intelligence plant along with Halper.

  1. The Trump Tower Meeting

Whenever Democrats or David French types talk about Trump and Russia collusion they look to the Trump Tower meeting as definitive proof. There are several problems with that. First, no presidential campaign in American history would pass up the chance of hearing evidence of crimes being committed by their opponent, no matter the source. In fact, some would say you’re doing the country a favor if you let everyone know that your opponent is subject to blackmail from a not-so-friendly foreign power (just don’t have your son and son-in-law sit in on the meeting).

More problematic is that Glenn Simpson — head of Fusion GPS, the firm being paid by the Clinton campaign and the DNC to prove (or create) ties between Trump and Russia — met with the two Russians who attended the Trump Tower meeting both before and after the meeting. Simpson’s excuse for doing so? Because he was working with the two Russians on a different issue, the repeal of the anti-Kremlin Magnitsky Act.

In other words, at the very least, the firm that created the dossier for Clinton and the DNC — using Russian intelligence sources — was the same firm that was working with the Kremlin to repeal a law passed by Congress because Putin’s thugs beat an innocent man to death in Russian prison. At most, this was yet another setup.

  1. Mike Flynn And The Logan Act

During the 2016 campaign, Democrats howled about the need to prosecute Trump campaign officials under an obscure 1799 law called the Logan Act. Byron York has documented that this was the pretext Obama-appointed former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates used to unmask former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s side of highly-appropriate phone conversations with the Russian ambassador that occurred during the transition period, and then send FBI agents to interview Flynn about those conversations.

Although the FBI has tried to cover this up, we now know that the agents who interviewed Flynn — including the disgraced and hugely anti-Trump Peter Strzok — didn’t believe that Flynn had lied. Nevertheless, Mueller’s team charged Flynn with lying to the FBI. After Mueller’s charge had nearly bankrupted Flynn, and after Mueller threatened to go after Flynn’s son, Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI.

  1. Andrew McCabe Sets Up Reince Priebus

After an intelligence briefing at the White House in early 2017, former FBI number two Andrew McCabe asked to meet privately with former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus. A story had just dropped — anonymously sourced from multiple intelligence community officials — that Trump aides had multiple contacts with Russian intelligence during the election.

McCabe wanted to tell Priebus that the FBI didn’t think the story was true. Of course, Priebus asked McCabe if the FBI could publicly say just that. McCabe said he would have to check. But former FBI Director James Comey called Priebus to say that the FBI couldn’t publicly shoot down the story.

Days later, the “breaking news” on CNN was that the White House had tried to pressure the FBI into batting down the reports on supposed ties between Trump and Russia. So not only was the White House supposedly colluding, now there were allegations of obstruction of justice.

  1. Brennan Shops Dossier To Harry Reid

Former CIA Director John Brennan, who may have been the U.S. intelligence official to first push an investigation into the Trump campaign, briefed then-Sen. Harry Reid on the Clinton-funded dossier in August 2016.

The briefing did two things: First, it lent some legitimacy to the dossier, and second, it got Reid to pressure the FBI to not drop the investigation. The briefing had the added bonus of allowing Reid to speak publicly about Trump’s ties to Russia, as if he had just gained access to groundbreaking proof of collusion, which was of course covered by the media.

  1. Comey And Clapper Give CNN A Reason To Publish The Dossier

Comey, at the behest of former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, briefed Trump on one of the allegations in the dossier, but not on the main allegation in the dossier, who had funded the dossier, or how that dossier was being used by the FBI. Nevertheless, this briefing looks like one more setup, meant to allow CNN to report on the existence of the dossier as if it were highly verified and being seriously examined by U.S. intelligence community officials.

Clapper then leaked information about the dossier and the briefings to CNN, and later looks to have lied about those leaks to Congress. Amazingly, Clapper has previously lied to Congress. Clapper now works for CNN.

  1. The Jeff Sessions Recusal

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation after anonymous intelligence community leaks about his contacts with Russians. Specifically, Sessions — as a senator — met with former Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergei Kislyak in his D.C. office. In another meeting, Sessions gave a speech and a gaggle of diplomats — including Kislyak — talked with him for several minutes as he was coming off the stage.

The idea behind the unnecessary recusal was that somehow Sessions had misrepresented these contacts to former Sen. Al Franken. Actually, Franken — referring to one of many CNN stories sourced by anonymous officials about supposed Trump and Russia collusion — had clearly asked about whether Sessions had colluded with any Russians during the campaign, not whether Sessions had ever met any Russians.

  1. Rosenstein Recommends Comey Firing, Appoints Special Counsel

But with Jeff Sessions out of the way, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein became the acting attorney general for all things Russia-investigation-related. Rosenstein then recommended Comey’s firing, and then — overseeing the investigation that stemmed from that firing — appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel. Mueller, a former FBI Director, happened to be a close associate of Comey and Rosenstein, and would surely want to protect the interests of the FBI and the Justice Department.

Taken together, these setups indicate a massive effort to aid the Clinton campaign before the election.

After all, the entire theory of Trump-Russia collusion originated with the Clinton campaign in the lead-up to the Democrat National Convention, when it became clear that the DNC had experienced a document theft. That document theft was highly embarrassing to Clinton and the DNC, as it revealed that the DNC had been systematically stacking the deck against Bernie Sanders. The immediate goal, then, was to both distract from the mistreatment of Bernie, and completely peel the GOP national security establishment away from Trump. The Clinton campaign was successful in both of these efforts.

Later, during the general election, whenever Hillary’s misdeeds came up, Clinton responded by pointing to Trump’s nefarious ties with Russia. Distasteful as it may seem, this was Machiavellian politics 101. Any focus group of voters would have told the Clinton people that Hillary was the steady hand, but that they had ethical concerns about her, and also sought a change from the status quo. The way to counteract this reluctance was to paint Hillary’s opponent as ethically challenged, too, and paint his alternative to the status quo as downright dangerous. (You might say that Trump was an easy target here, but look what the Obama-campaign did to Romney.)

Dirty tricks are of course not new to American politics. But the apparent involvement of the U.S. intelligence community in these setups is deeply troubling. Democrats, intelligence bureaucrats, and the media have told us that the investigation started with Page. When that fell apart, they said the investigation started with Papadopoulos. Now, the Papadopoulos origination story is falling apart too.

It now looks like the corrupt and highly partisan upper-echelon of the U.S. intelligence community started their preliminary investigation as soon as the Clinton people — in the run-up to the Democratic convention — began claiming that there were ties between Trump and Russia. During this same time, Clinton and the DNC paid Fusion GPS, which hired Chris Steele to dig up ties between Trump and Russia.

This is nothing more than prosecutorial point and shoot, where corrupt big-government politicians send the corrupt and sympathetic federal bureaucracy after their political enemies. It’s no different than what happened with Lois Lerner at the Internal Revenue Service. Democrats gave speeches and sent official letters, Obama implied he wanted action, and dutiful bureaucrats did the rest.

With the intelligence agencies on board, legitimacy was lent to the Hillary Clinton campaign’s wild claims. All the media had to do in the weeks before Election Day was to frantically report that Trump’s campaign was being investigated, and that a document containing allegations of Trump-Russia ties (the “dossier”) was being seriously looked into by intelligence officials. That fed back to the voters, and certainly made many feel a little bit better about voting for Clinton, or not voting for Trump.

After the election, it has been all about C.Y.A., because these corrupt bureaucrats leading these intelligence bureaucracies never imagined Trump would win. Here, ladies and gentleman, is your real election interference and collusion: between the massive, all-powerful and unaccountable intelligence bureaucracies, the media, the Obama administration, and the Clinton campaign.

DOJ Must Strenuously Examine BHO Admin. Corruption

John R. Houk

© December 24, 2017

President Barack Hussein Obama was the most corrupt President the USA has ever had. And there have been some past corrupt Presidents. Here is a brief list of historically considered bad Presidents stretching from the 19th century to the 20th century. Avoiding 21st century considerations, some Presidents considered bad by the great divide of the political spectrum are not listed (from least worst to worst):

10. Martin Van Buren

9. Chester A. Arthur

8. Herbert Clark Hoover

7. Millard Fillmore

6. William Henry Harrison

5. John Tyler

4. Warren G. Harding

3. Franklin Pierce

2. Andrew Johnson

1. James Buchanan

(This list compilation has summaries of reasoning behind their bad marks: The 10 Worst Presidents In The History Of The United States; By C.L. Illsley; WorldAtlas.com; 6/15/17)

If you’ve been listening to popularity stats lately, President BHO has remarkably high favorability with a majority of polled Americans. Since these high marks seem a bit delusional to me, either the polls are very warped (Pollsters picked Crooked Hillary to easily beat President Trump. That did not happen!) or the Leftist Mainstream (MSM) has successfully brainwashed Americans with disinformation propaganda.

The entirety of Obama’s two-term eight-year stint as President was racked with scandals that Obama and the MSM pooh-poohed by lack of reporting, disinformation or just downright lying. To examine those scandals would no-doubt fill a decent sized book.

So, I’m going to look at some more recent Obama/Crooked Hillary wrong doings that the Trump DOJ should examine. There should be renewed calls for “Lock her up” and add “Lock him up”.

Clinton campaign propaganda appears to have triggered Obama administration spying on Trump’s campaign.

By ANDREW C. MCCARTHY
December 23, 2017 4:00 AM
National Review

The FBI’s deputy director Andrew McCabe testified Tuesday at a marathon seven-hour closed-door hearing of the House Intelligence Committee. According to the now-infamous text message sent by FBI agent Peter Strzok to his paramour, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, it was in McCabe’s office that top FBI counterintelligence officials discussed what they saw as the frightening possibility of a Trump presidency.

That was during the stretch run of the 2016 campaign, no more than a couple of weeks after they started receiving the Steele dossier — the Clinton campaign’s opposition-research reports, written by former British spy Christopher Steele, about Trump’s purportedly conspiratorial relationship with Vladimir Putin’s regime in Russia.

Was it the Steele dossier that so frightened the FBI? I think so.

There is a great deal of information to follow. But let’s cut to the chase: The Obama-era FBI and Justice Department had great faith in Steele because he had previously collaborated with the bureau on a big case. Plus, Steele was working on the Trump-Russia project with the wife of a top Obama Justice Department official, who was personally briefed by Steele. The upper ranks of the FBI and DOJ strongly preferred Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton, to the point of overlooking significant evidence of her felony misconduct, even as they turned up the heat on Trump. In sum, the FBI and DOJ were predisposed to believe the allegations in Steele’s dossier. Because of their confidence in Steele, because they were predisposed to believe his scandalous claims about Donald Trump, they made grossly inadequate efforts to verify his claims. Contrary to what I hoped would be the case, I’ve come to believe Steele’s claims were used to obtain FISA surveillance authority for an investigation of Trump.

There were layers of insulation between the Clinton campaign and Steele — the campaign and the Democratic party retained a law firm, which contracted with Fusion GPS, which in turn hired the former spy. At some point, though, perhaps early on, the FBI and DOJ learned that the dossier was actually a partisan opposition-research product. By then, they were dug in. No one, after all, would be any the wiser: Hillary would coast to victory, so Democrats would continue running the government; FISA materials are highly classified, so they’d be kept under wraps. Just as it had been with the Obama-era’s Fast and Furious and IRS scandals, any malfeasance would remain hidden.

The best laid schemes . . . gang aft agley. [Blog Editor: Not being well read in the poetry realm, I had to look-up “gang aft agley”. It comes from a quite famous Robert Burns poem that you’ll probably recognize it when you read it:

A line of the poem “To A Mouse” is often quoted: “The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men” to mean that well-planned plans can go wrong.

But, Mousie, thou art no thy lane,

          In proving foresight may be vain;

The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men,

          Gang aft agley,

An’ lea’e us nought but grief an’ pain,

          For promis’d joy!

          — “To A Mouse” by Robert Burns

‘Gang aft agley’ is Scottish and means ‘Often go wrong’.

More directly translated:

  • gang = ‘to go’
  • aft = ‘oft’ (or often)
  • agley = ‘askew, awry’ (i.e. wrong, badly. ‘Gley’ is ‘squint’, so more literally would be ‘off squint’)

‘Aft’ in this context has no relation to the nautical meaning of ‘aft’, but is a Scottish form of ‘oft’. (Of Mice and Men; wiki.c2.com; Last edit 10/3/12)]

Why It Matters

Strzok’s text about the meeting in McCabe’s office is dated August 16, 2016. As we’ll see, the date is important. According to Agent Strzok, with Election Day less than three months away, Page, the bureau lawyer, weighed in on Trump’s bid: “There’s no way he gets elected.” Strzok, however, believed that even if a Trump victory was the longest of long shots, the FBI “can’t take that risk.” He insisted that the bureau had no choice but to proceed with a plan to undermine Trump’s candidacy: “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

But what were these “allegations of collusion between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia” that the FBI decided to “aggressively investigate”? … As I explained in the column, the question is critical for three reasons:

(1) The Steele dossier was a Clinton campaign product. If it was used by the FBI and the Obama Justice Department to obtain a FISA warrant, that would mean law-enforcement agencies controlled by a Democratic president fed the FISA court political campaign material produced by the Democratic candidate whom the president had endorsed to succeed him. Partisan claims of egregious scheming with an adversarial foreign power would have been presented to the court with the FBI’s imprimatur, as if they were drawn from refined U.S. intelligence reporting. The objective would have been to spy on the opposition Republican campaign.

(2) In June of this year, former FBI director James Comey testified that the dossier was “salacious and unverified.” While still director, Comey had described the dossier the same way when he briefed President-elect Trump on it in January 2017. If the dossier was still unverified as late as mid 2017, its allegations could not possibly have been verified months earlier, in the late summer or early autumn of 2016, when it appears that the FBI and DOJ used them in an application to the FISA court.

(3) The dossier appears to contain misinformation. Knowing he was a spy-for-hire trusted by Americans, Steele’s Russian-regime sources had reason to believe that misinformation could be passed into the stream of U.S. intelligence and that it would be acted on — and leaked — as if it were true, to America’s detriment. This would sow discord in our political system. If the FBI and DOJ relied on the dossier, it likely means they were played by the Putin regime.

At the time, Bruce Ohr was the Obama Justice Department’s point man for “Transnational Organized Crime and International Affairs,” having been DOJ’s long-serving chief of the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section. He also wore a second, top-echelon DOJ hat: associate deputy attorney general. That made him a key adviser to the deputy attorney general, Sally Yates (who later, as acting attorney general, was fired for insubordinately refusing to enforce President Trump’s so-called travel ban). In the chain of command, the FBI reports to the DAG’s office.

To do the Trump-Russia research, Steele had been retained by the research firm Fusion GPS (which, to repeat, had been hired by lawyers for the Clinton campaign and the DNC). Fusion GPS was run by its founder, former Wall Street Journal investigative journalist Glenn Simpson. Bruce Ohr’s wife, Nellie, a Russia scholar, worked for Simpson at Fusion. The Ohrs and Simpson appear to be longtime acquaintances, dating back to when Simpson was a senior fellow at the International Assessment and Strategy Center. In 2010, all three participated in a two-day conference on international organized crime, sponsored by the National Institute of Justice (see conference schedule and participant list, pp. 27–30). In connection with the Clinton campaign’s Trump-Russia project, Fusion’s Nellie Ohr collaborated with Steele and Simpson, and DOJ’s Bruce Ohr met personally with Steele and Simpson.

But that is just the beginning of the bias story.

At a high level, the DOJ and FBI were in the tank for Hillary Clinton. In July 2016, shortly before Steele’s reports started floating in, the FBI and DOJ announced that no charges would be brought against Mrs. Clinton despite damning evidence that she mishandled classified information, destroyed government files, obstructed congressional investigations, and lied to investigators. The irregularities in the Clinton-emails investigation are legion: President Obama making it clear in public statements that he did not want Clinton charged; the FBI, shortly afterwards, drafting an exoneration of Clinton months before the investigation ended and central witnesses, including Clinton herself, were interviewed; investigators failing to use the grand jury to compel the production of key evidence; the DOJ restricting FBI agents in their lines of inquiry and examination of evidence; the granting of immunity to suspects who in any other case would be pressured to plead guilty and cooperate against more-culpable suspects; the distorting of criminal statutes to avoid applying them to Clinton; the sulfurous tarmac meeting between Attorney General Lynch and former President Clinton shortly before Mrs. Clinton was given a peremptory interview — right before then–FBI director Comey announced that she would not be charged.

Report: How Fusion GPS and the Obama Administration Weaponized the Trump Dossier

By KRISTINA WONG

22 Dec 2017

Breibart – Big Government

Did the Obama administration launch an investigation into the Trump campaign based solely off of unverified political opposition research? And was that “research” dressed up and given more credibility than it should have? It appears that way based on an investigation of open-source information by Tablet.

The outlet’s investigation begins with a June 24, 2017, Facebook post by Mary Jacoby, the wife of Glenn Simpson, the former Wall Street Journal reporter who started Fusion GPS, the firm behind the dossier.

Jacoby, a former Wall Street Journal reporter who once shared bylines with Simpson, bragged how her husband was not getting the credit he deserved for the dossier.

Until this day, the dossier is often referred to as the “Steele dossier,” named after the former British spy Christopher Steele who is believed to have authored the document.

Steele’s background has been used by collusion-believers to argue that the document is credible. But Jacoby’s post suggests that Steele might not have played as big of a role in the dossier as he is given credit.

Indeed, Fusion GPS hiring of Nellie Ohr — the wife of senior Justice Department official Bruce Ohr — also shows that Steele’s role in producing the dossier may be exaggerated. Ohr is a Stanford Ph.D. whose expertise is Russia and she appears to be fluent in Russian. She may have conducted interviews or written parts of the dossier.

The dossier, however, only has Steele’s name on it — helping to credential the research as an “intelligence product.”

Tablet also took a look at Simpson and Jacoby’s work for the WSJ. …

Tablet explains how their reporting may have been the origins of the Trump dossier:

So when the Trump campaign named Paul Manafort as its campaign convention manager on March 28, 2016, you can bet that Simpson and Jacoby’s eyes lit up. And as it happened, at the exact same time that Trump hired Manafort, Fusion GPS was in negotiations with Perkins Coie, the law firm representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, to see if there was interest in the firm continuing the opposition research on the Trump campaign they had started for the Washington Free Beacon. In addition to whatever sales pitch Simpson might have offered about Manafort, the Clinton campaign had independent reason to believe that research into Manafort’s connections might pay some real political dividends: A Democratic consultant and Ukrainian-American activist named Alexandra Chalupa, told the Clinton campaign about Manafort’s work for Yanukovich. “I flagged for the DNC the significance of his hire,” Chalupa told CNN in July of this year.

Tablet notes that Special Counsel Robert Mueller would later find corruption by Manafort related to money laundering (before he joined the Trump campaign). It also points out that Tony Podesta — Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta’s brother — worked for Manafort at the time he represented Yanukovich. (The Podesta Group disbanded this year after those connections were made public, and the special counsel is reportedly investigating Podesta too.)

Tablet notes that while Simpson had begun working on the dossier on Trump collusion with Russia, he was also working for a Russian lawyer to undermine an American law called the Magnitsky Act and that Steele may have been hired to disguise that contradiction.

Steele — it notes — had not lived or worked in Russia for nearly 25 years, but his name “at a minimum” would be useful in marketing whatever his firm pulled together. Plus, Steele had a good relationship with the FBI and could “spill secrets” to journalists.

Jacoby would post that story in her June 24 Facebook post, slamming the FBI and accusing it of “ineptitude,” while the CIA “hopped to and immediately worked to verify” the dossier.

She said by August 2016, the CIA had “verified the key finding of the dossier” to the point that it was having “eyes only” top secret meetings with President Obama about it.

Thus, while the document could not be verified and was not used in any intelligence assessment because of its inability to be verified, it was now the topic of meetings with the president.

CIA Director John Brennan had also briefed top lawmakers on Russian efforts to help Trump last summer and had said the CIA had limited legal ability to investigate Russian connections to Trump, prompting Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) to write a public letter to the FBI — which collects domestic intelligence — about the threat of Russian interference.

That “information” Reid was referring to was the dossier, according to Tablet:

According to David Corn’s Oct. 31, 2016, article in Mother Jones, the Nevada lawmaker was referencing the findings of “a former senior intelligence officer for a Western country who specialized in Russian counterintelligence.”

Corn now explains that the “former Western intelligence officer—who spent almost two decades on Russian intelligence matters and who now works with a U.S. firm that gathers information on Russia for corporate clients” is Christopher Steele. According to Corn, Steele said that “in recent months he provided the bureau with memos, based on his recent interactions with Russian sources, contending the Russian government has for years tried to co-opt and assist Trump.”

It appears that Brennan was briefing Reid on the Steele dossier.

Brennan apparently sent the dossier to the White House, prompting the “eyes only” meetings.

“An envelope with extraordinary handling restrictions arrived at the White House. Sent by courier from the CIA, it carried ‘eyes only’ instructions that its contents be shown to just four people: President Barack Obama and three senior aides,” the Washington Post reported on June 23, 2017.

“So was the Steele dossier in the envelope?” Tablet asks.

The Post also writes that the “material was so sensitive that CIA Director John O. Brennan kept it out of the president’s daily brief, concerned that even that restricted report’s distribution was too broad.”

But as Tablet asks, “if the material was so sensitive that it had to be kept out of the PDB and withheld from the Senate majority leader, why was someone telling The Washington Post about it?”

Tablet writes:

Sources and methods are the crown jewels of the American intelligence community. And yet someone has just told a major American newspaper about a “report drawn from sourcing deep inside the Russian government … that captured Putin’s specific instructions.” If the CIA had a human intelligence source that close to Putin, publication of the Post article could have exposed that source—doing incalculable damage to American national security. He and many of his loved ones would then have presumably died horrible deaths.

Or, as Mary Jacoby surmised, it was her husband’s handiwork that landed on the president’s desk.

BOMBSHELL: Obama Calls His Lawyers In Panic As Trump Uncovers ‘The Woman He Tried To Hide’

By Rebecca Diserio

December 22, 2017

Mad World News

Barack Obama was sure that he had covered his trail as he took every precaution to hide his relationship with one woman. Poor Obama didn’t hide her well enough, and right before President Donald Trump left for his Christmas vacation, he secretly made sure that this woman’s shocking criminal relationship to the former president was exposed. Obama felt sheer panic, calling his team of attorneys, and his head is not the only one going to roll.

Mary Jacoby (left), President Donald Trump (middle), Barack Obama (right) (Photo Credit: Mary Jacoby/Facebook, YouTube/Screengrab, YouTube/Screengrab)

The president just gave the American people the best Christmas gifts ever; a huge new tax reform law and now the evidence proving Barack Hussien [sic] Obama knew and sanctioned the illegal scheme to try to ensure the GOP candidate for president, Donald Trump, would never see inside the White House. It’s all part of the same scheme that is behind the coup attempt to impeach Trump once he won, and the key is a woman named Mary Jacoby.

Who’s Mary Jacoby? Well, sit back my fellow Americans and pop some popcorn, as you learn of the one woman who is playing a prominent role in bringing down the Obama regime and the Clinton crime cartel for good. On April 10, 2016, Mary Jacoby showed up on White House visitor logs, meeting with President Obama and his top officials, and she doesn’t leave for 14 hours.

That same month, April 2016, the Clinton Campaign and DNC hired Fusion-GPS to organize the Russia research, which later became known as the bogus “Russian dossier.” Mary Jacoby is the wife of Fusion-GPS head Glenn Simpson. But, there’s more.

Copy of White House logs from April 10, 2016, showing Mary Jacoby was meeting with Obama officials for 14 hours.

So, not only is Jacoby the wife of the guy who is behind compiling the Russian dossier, a totally fabricated document, we now know that Russian dossier was submitted as the only evidence by the FBI cabal, including former Director James Comey and his Deputy Director Andy McCabe, to obtain wiretaps on the then-candidate Donald Trump and his campaign.

Jacoby even boasted about it in a Facebook post. “In a Facebook post from June 24, 2017, that Tablet has seen in screenshots, Jacoby claimed that her husband deserves the lion’s share of credit for Russiagate. (She has not replied to repeated requests for comment.) ‘It’s come to my attention that some people still don’t realize what Glenn’s role was in exposing Putin’s control of Donald Trump,’ Jacoby wrote. ‘Let’s be clear. Glenn conducted the investigation. Glenn hired Chris Steele. Chris Steele worked for Glenn,’” reported Tablet Magazine.

… Her husband Glenn Simpson assigned the actual writing of the Russian dossier to his Russia expert at Fusion-GPS, a woman named Nellie Ohr.

This is where the DOJ’s former associate deputy attorney general Bruce Ohr comes in — he is married to Nellie Ohr. He also has admitted to meeting with Glenn Simpson to obtain the fake Russian dossier for the DOJ before anyone knew who his wife was.

There’s one more thing. All of these snakes communicated without being detected by the good guys left in the intelligence community, but how? Records prove Nellie Ohr got a license for a HAM radio in May 2016. These rats knew the NSA does not monitor traffic by HAM radios. They really thought they had covered their tracks.

Obama never fathomed this illegal scheme wouldn’t work. He counted on ensuring Hillary Clinton would win the election. After she lost, he tried to hide all trails that would lead back to him as the FBI and DOJ cabal started phase two, the “Trump-Russia” Robert Mueller investigation, which they thought would eventually make Trump resign or be impeached. Except, he forgot about the White House visitors logs, which are now in the custody of President Donald Trump. …

Fmr. Clinton aide details how Obama has set up secret ‘war room’ blocks from the White House to destroy Trump

By Carmine Sabia

July 31, 2017

BizPAC Review

A former adviser to President Bill Clinton says there is a secret war room, run by the staff of former President Obama, miles from the White House that is designed to bring down President Donald Trump.

In a YouTube video shared on Thursday, Dick Morris, who worked for former President Clinton, said, “there is indication that Obama has set up a secret operation in a war room just about 2 miles from the White House.”  The staff consists of former Barack and Michelle Obama aides among others, and has two conference calls daily to create talking points against the president, held at 8:30 am and 9:45 am, according to Morris.

On the call are Andrew Slavitt, who served as the head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and former Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who also headed Health and Human Services, as saving Obamacare is of paramount concern.

“There operation is just a few blocks from the Capitol and it’s in a war room run by Leslie Dash, one of (former President) Obama’s top health care officials. Coordinating a nationwide anti-repeal campaign by liberal think tanks, local resistance groups — sympathetic governors, Medicaid insurance lobbyists, Democratic activists, pollsters and academics. It was conceived in the hours after (President) Trump was elected in November and the group called itself Protect Our Care,” Morris said.

“The covert part of the resistance in these moles who are buried in the Trump administration who are leaking to sabotage (President) Trump,” he added.

In March it was reported that former top aide to President Obama, Valerie Jarrett, was moving in with the Obama family as part of an operation to resist President Trump.

According to the rumors, Jarrett and Michelle Obama were creating a “nerve center” to figure out ways to remove President Trump from office, either by forcing him to resign or having him impeached.

Morris expounded on that idea on Sunday when he appeared on New York AM 970’s “The Cats Roundtable,” with host John Catsimatidis, a former candidate for mayor of New York City.

“The main thing that is going on, though, in politics is really an attempt at a coup d’etat, which is essentially what this whole Russian stuff is,” Morris told Catsimatidis. “In fact, I call it the illusion of collusion. The whole Democratic party is so taken up with the idea that Hillary [Clinton] lost the election because of collusion between Trump and [Vladimir] Putin.”

“I think the whole thing has been cooked up in an effort to topple Trump from power,” he said. “It amounts really to a coup d’etat between the intelligence community on the one hand and the media on the other.”

Wasserman Schultz Seemingly Planned To Pay Suspect Even While He Lived In Pakistan

By Luke Rosiak – Investigative Reporter

07/29/2017 4:05 PM

Daily Caller News Foundation

Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz seemingly planned to pay cyber-probe suspect and IT aide Imran Awan even while he was living in Pakistan, if the FBI hadn’t stopped him from leaving the U.S. Monday. Public statements and congressional payroll records suggest she also appears to have known that his wife, a fellow IT staffer, left the country for good months ago — while she was also a criminal suspect.

In all, six months of actions reveal a decision to continue paying a man who seemingly could not have been providing services to her, and who a mountain of evidence suggests was a liability. The man long had access to all of Wasserman Schultz’s computer files, work emails and personal emails, and he was recently accused by a relative in court documents of wiretapping and extortion.

Records also raise questions about whether the Florida Democrat permitted Awan to continue to access computers after House-wide authorities banned him from the network Feb. 2. Not only did she keep him on staff after the ban, but she also did not have any other IT person to perform necessary work that presumably would have arisen during a months-long period, according to payroll records.

Wasserman Schultz employed Pakistani-born Awan and his wife Hina Alvi, and refused to fire either of them even after U.S. Capitol Police said in February 2017 that they were targets of the criminal investigation. She said police wouldn’t show her evidence against the couple and, without it, she assumed they might be victims of anti-Muslim profiling.

Awan booked a round-trip ticket to Pakistan in July and planned to depart Monday, July 24 with a return ticket in six months. He was arrested at Dulles Airport during his attempt to leave.

The Associated Press reported that Awan’s lawyer, Chris Gowen, said Awan “had informed the House of his plans to visit his family.”

Wasserman Schultz’s spokesman cited Awan’s Monday arrest as the reason for ending his employment on Tuesday: “Upon learning of his arrest, he was terminated.”

The office’s insistence that his termination was prompted by the Monday arrest — and not the House Sergeant at Arms banning him and his wife from touching congressional computers or his six months in Pakistan — suggests that had he boarded the flight without incident he would still be on payroll.

“Does that mean if he had boarded the flight as planned the office would have been paying him for six months while he was abroad?” The DCNF investigative group asked Wasserman Schultz’s spokesman Thursday. “Why would it do that?” The spokesman did not respond.

Awan’s wife, Hina, left the country under similar circumstances March 5, after withdrawing the couple’s three kids from school without telling Virginia education officials, packing up all of her possessions, and hiding $12,000 in cash, according to an FBI affidavit. She allegedly had hundreds of thousands of dollars waiting in Pakistan for her — money the FBI says Awan had obtained partly through mortgage fraud and had wired overseas using a false explanation.

Two days later, on March 7, House records show Hina was cut from Wasserman Schultz’s payroll.

Though Hina bought a round trip ticket with a return in six months, the FBI said it “does not believe that Alvi has any intention to return to the United States.”

Wasserman Schultz spokesman David Darmrom did not respond to a DCNF IG request to explain why Hina had been terminated two days into a trip she claimed was temporary, while her husband had not been terminated for a six-month move. Between the part-time nature of her work and the ban, her absence was unlikely to have been noticed in two days without someone telling the office her plans.

Wasserman Schultz’s office also didn’t answer if the office knew Hina’s “round trip” was a permanent move.

Hina and Awan were both IT aides whose jobs required access to the network, but the House Sergeant-At-Arms banned them from accessing it beginning Feb. 2. Awan and Hina were her only IT staffers, and payroll records through the latest available period, March 31, indicate that no other IT staffer or vendor was added to the payroll after their ban.

A House source said Awan was seen in the House office building multiple times after the network ban. “Imran Awan is working in an “advisory” role for Wasserman Schultz, her spokesman said, “providing advice on technology issues.”

The spokesman wouldn’t say who did the office’s computer work after the ban, if not Awan.

As IT administrators, the suspects could read all emails sent and received by the lawmaker and see all files on the staff members’ computers, numerous House IT aides said. WikiLeaks shows that Awan also had the password to Wasserman Schultz’s iPad.

In public court documents filed in Fairfax, Va., Awan’s stepmother accused him of wiretapping and extortion. “Imran Awan did admit to me that my phone is tapped and there are devices installed in my house” and “Imran Awan threatened that he is very powerful and if I ever call the police again, [he] will … kidnap my family members back in Pakistan,” his stepmother, Samina Gilani, claimed in the documents (p. 21) filed April 14.

Despite her professed concern of stereotyping, all other colleagues who employed Awan, Hina or their other relatives on House payrolls fired them, including Rep. Andre Carson of Indiana, who is Muslim and has criticized Wasserman Schultz for blocking police from examining a laptop tied to Imran.

That laptop was found in an unused crevice of a House office building and seized as evidence by the Capitol Police, but Wasserman Schultz appeared determined to not let police see its contents, threatening “consequences” for the police chief if he didn’t release it. The exchange was captured on video.

Fox News reported that months later, she had blocked them from looking at it but had become open to “negotiating” with police, possibly turning over certain files, as Hillary Clinton was permitted to do in deciding which emails were “personal.”

Observers have decried Wasserman Schultz’s judgment and cybersecurity record, noting she was the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee when it was hacked. A group of Democratic donors filed a lawsuit saying she and the DNC “breached the duties they owed to… members of the DNC Donor Class by failing to exercise reasonable care and implement adequate [cyber]security protocols..”

There’s more than bank fraud going on here.

By ANDREW C. MCCARTHY

National Review

In Washington, it’s never about what they tell you it’s about. So take this to the bank: The case of Imran Awan, Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s mysterious Pakistani IT guy, is not about bank fraud.

Yet bank fraud was the stated charge on which Awan was arrested at Dulles Airport this week, just as he was trying to flee the United States for Pakistan, via Qatar. That is the same route taken by Awan’s wife, Hina Alvi, in March, when she suddenly fled the country, with three young daughters she yanked out of school, mega-luggage, and $12,400 in cash.

By then, the proceeds of the fraudulent $165,000 loan they’d gotten from the Congressional Federal Credit Union had been sent ahead. It was part of a $283,000 transfer that Awan managed to wire from Capitol Hill. He pulled it off — hilariously, if infuriatingly — by pretending to be his wife in a phone call with the credit union. Told that his proffered reason for the transfer (“funeral arrangements”) wouldn’t fly, “Mrs.” Awan promptly repurposed: Now “she” was “buying property.” Asking no more questions, the credit union wired the money . . . to Pakistan.

As you let all that sink in, consider this: Awan and his family cabal of fraudsters had access for years to the e-mails and other electronic files of members of the House’s Intelligence and Foreign Affairs Committees. It turns out they were accessing members’ computers without their knowledge, transferring files to remote servers, and stealing computer equipment — including hard drives that Awan & Co. smashed to bits of bytes before making tracks.

They were fired in February. All except Awan, that is. He continued in the employ of Wasserman Schultz, the Florida Democrat, former DNC chairwoman, and Clinton crony. She kept him in place at the United States Congress right up until he was nabbed at the airport on Monday.

This is not about bank fraud. The Awan family swindles are plentiful, but they are just window-dressing. This appears to be a real conspiracy, aimed at undermining American national security.

At the time of his arrest, the 37-year-old Imran Awan had been working for Democrats as an information technologist for 13 years. He started out with Representative Gregory Meeks (D., N.Y.) in 2004. The next year, he landed on the staff of Wasserman Schultz, who had just been elected to the House.

Congressional-staff salaries are modest, in the $40,000 range. For some reason, Awan was paid about four times as much. He also managed to get his wife, Alvi, on the House payroll . . . then his brother, Abid Awan . . . then Abid’s wife, Natalia Sova. The youngest of the clan, Awan’s brother Jamal, came on board in 2014 — the then-20-year-old commanding an annual salary of $160,000.

A few of these arrangements appear to have been sinecures: While some Awans were rarely seen around the office, we now know they were engaged in extensive financial shenanigans away from the Capitol. Nevertheless, the Daily Caller’s Luke Rosiak, who has been all over this story, reports that, for their IT “work,” the Pakistani family has reeled in $4 million from U.S. taxpayers since 2009.

That’s just the “legit” dough. The family business evidently dabbles in procurement fraud, too. The Capitol Police and FBI are exploring widespread double-billing for computers, other communication devices, and related equipment.

Why were they paid so much for doing so little? Intriguing as it is, that’s a side issue. A more pressing question is: Why were they given access to highly sensitive government information? Ordinarily, that requires a security clearance, awarded only after a background check that peruses ties to foreign countries, associations with unsavory characters, and vulnerability to blackmail.

These characters could not possibly have qualified. Never mind access; it’s hard to fathom how they retained their jobs. The Daily Caller has also discovered that the family, which controlled several properties, was involved in various suspicious mortgage transfers. Abid Awan, while working “full-time” in Congress, ran a curious auto-retail business called “Cars International A” (yes, CIA), through which he was accused of stealing money and merchandise. In 2012, he discharged debts in bankruptcy (while scheming to keep his real-estate holdings). Congressional Democrats hired Abid despite his drunk-driving conviction a month before he started at the House, and they retained him despite his public-drunkenness arrest a month after. Beyond that, he and Imran both committed sundry vehicular offenses. In civil lawsuits, they are accused of life-insurance fraud.

Democrats now say that any access to sensitive information was “unauthorized.” But how hard could it have been to get “unauthorized” access when House Intelligence Committee Dems wanted their staffers to have unbounded access? In 2016, they wrote a letter to an appropriations subcommittee seeking funding so their staffers could obtain “Top Secret — Sensitive Compartmented Information” clearances. TS/SCI is the highest-level security classification. Awan family members were working for a number of the letter’s signatories.

Democratic members, of course, would not make such a request without coordination with leadership. Did I mention that the ranking member on the appropriations subcommittee to whom the letter was addressed was Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

Why has the investigation taken so long? Why so little enforcement action until this week? Why, most of all, were Wasserman Schultz and her fellow Democrats so indulgent of the Awans?

The probe began in late 2016. In short order, the Awans clearly knew they were hot numbers. They started arranging the fraudulent credit-union loan in December, and the $283,000 wire transfer occurred on January 18. In early February, House security services informed representatives that the Awans were suspects in a criminal investigation. At some point, investigators found stolen equipment stashed in the Rayburn House Office Building, including a laptop that appears to belong to Wasserman Schultz and that Imran was using. Although the Awans were banned from the Capitol computer network, not only did Wasserman Schultz keep Imran on staff for several additional months, but Meeks retained Alvi until February 28 — five days before she skedaddled to Lahore.

Strange thing about that: On March 5, the FBI (along with the Capitol Police) got to Dulles Airport in time to stop Alvi before she embarked. It was discovered that she was carrying $12,400 in cash. As I pointed out this week, it is a felony to export more than $10,000 in currency from the U.S. without filing a currency transportation report. It seems certain that Alvi did not file one: In connection with her husband’s arrest this week, the FBI submitted to the court a complaint affidavit that describes Alvi’s flight but makes no mention of a currency transportation report. Yet far from making an arrest, agents permitted her to board the plane and leave the country, notwithstanding their stated belief that she has no intention of returning.

Many congressional staffers are convinced that they’d long ago have been in handcuffs if they pulled what the Awans are suspected of. Nevertheless, no arrests were made when the scandal became public in February. For months, Imran has been strolling around the Capitol. In the interim, Wasserman Schultz has been battling investigators: demanding the return of her laptop, invoking a constitutional privilege (under the speech-and-debate clause) to impede agents from searching it, and threatening the Capitol Police with “consequences” if they don’t relent. Only last week, according to Fox News, did she finally signal willingness to drop objections to a scan of the laptop by federal investigators. Her stridency in obstructing the investigation has been jarring.

As evidence has mounted, the scores of Democrats for whom the Awans worked have expressed no alarm. Instead, we’ve heard slanderous suspicions that the investigation is a product of — all together now — “Islamophobia.” But Samina Gilani, the Awan brothers’ stepmother, begs to differ. Gilani complained to Virginia police that the Awans secretly bugged her home and then used the recordings to blackmail her. She averred in court documents that she was pressured to surrender cash she had stored in Pakistan. Imran claimed to be “very powerful” — so powerful he could order her family members kidnapped.

We don’t know if these allegations are true, but they are disturbing. The Awans have had the opportunity to acquire communications and other information that could prove embarrassing, or worse, especially for the pols who hired them. Did the swindling staffers compromise members of Congress? Does blackmail explain why were they able to go unscathed for so long?

And as for that sensitive information, did the Awans send American secrets, along with those hundreds of thousands of American dollars, to Pakistan?

This is no run-of-the-mill bank-fraud case.

Imran Awan Becomes Suspect In Seth Rich Murder Inquiry

By Baxter Dmitry

July 29, 2017

YourNewsWire.com

Imran Awan, the former DNC staffer who was arrested this week while trying to flee the United States, was with Seth Rich the night of his murder, according to new photographic evidence.

Police who originally investigated the murder suggested that Seth Rich might have been killed by someone he knew, due to the lack of struggle. The killer also took nothing from the victim, leaving behind his wallet containing $2000, watch and phone.

The photo, which directly links Imran Awan to Seth Rich, also links Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Awan’s former employer, to the former Seth Rich’s death.

Awan, who was kept on the DNC payroll for months and received several payments from Wasserman Schultz, was arrested earlier this week at Dulles airport. while trying to flee the United States and return to his native Pakistan.

Earlier this week WND reported that Seth Rich attended a party with Washington D.C. IT workers the night of his death, and that Rod Wheeler, the detective investigating the murder, was determined to learn more about who attended the party:

During the course of his investigation of Rich’s murder, Wheeler says learned something peculiar that he hadn’t heard before: Rich attended a party with numerous IT workers the night he was killed. After the party, Rich went to Lou’s City Bar, the last known location where he was seen before his murder.

Wheeler said he was determined to learn more about the IT party and who was in attendance, but all his questions have gone unanswered.

Seth attended that party, and I wanted to know who else was at that party. But I could never find out,” Wheeler said. “When I went back to ask other people who should have known who was at that party – these were people who were close to Seth – they told me, ‘You don’t need to know who was at that party because it had nothing to do with his death.’”

Uncovering more details about the attendees of the party is essential in the Rich homicide investigation, Wheeler contends.

He was at the party before he went to the bar. What you do in a murder investigation is you work backward. You want to trace the victim’s steps as far back as you can – who was that person around the day before? – as far back as you can,” he said.

What was interesting is when I am told as an investigator that I don’t need to talk to people who were at the party. It makes you wonder why.”

Now that we know Imran Awan was at the party, Rod Wheeler’s statement has become even more interesting.

Federal agents arrested Awan, the IT aide of Wasserman Schultz and the top suspect in a major Democratic hacking scandal, at Dulles Airport in Virginia as he tried to flee the U.S. and fly to the Mideast.

WND report: Awan’s arrest came just one day after reports emerged that the FBI had seized numerous “smashed hard drives” and other computer equipment from Awan’s previous residence. The former House IT staffer is suspected of stealing sensitive information from the office computers of numerous Democratic Party lawmakers and sending that data to a secret server.

Awan and his family members, all of whom worked as IT professionals for members of Congress, were banned from the House network Feb. 2, 2017, by the House Sergeant at Arms.

Despite the rapidly escalating scandal that potentially involves multiple federal crimes, Awan had been kept on the payroll of former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who circumvented the ban by having him “advise” her office.

In the wake of WikiLeaks posting damaging internal emails during the 2016 election, Wasserman Schultz resigned from her post as DNC chairwoman and blamed the scandal on an alleged hacking by Russians.

After the emails became public, Donna Brazile, who served as interim DNC chairwoman following Wasserman Schultz’s resignation, initially claimed the messages were fabricated. Then she alleged Russians stole the emails.

The FBI requested access to the DNC’s server to determine who was responsible for the breach. According to former FBI Director James Comey, the DNC refused to grant access to its server.

Awan reportedly possessed the password to the iPad Wasserman Schultz used when the DNC emails were provided to WikiLeaks.

Meanwhile, some have speculated that Rich – who worked in the voter analysis division of the DNC and was brutally murdered on July 10, 2016, on a street near his Washington home – was an inside source who leaked party insider emails to WikiLeaks during the 2016 presidential race.

Well, now you have a possible suspect. Here’s the corrupt IT guy standing on the shoulders of Debbie Wasserman Schultz arrested at the airport trying to flee, charged with stealing hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of dollars,” said Rivera.

What if he was the source to WikiLeaks? He has all the passwords. He has all the information. This is a huge story … Everyone assumed it was the Russians who hacked the DNC and then gave WikiLeaks the emails,” said Rivera.

For a long time people thought that Seth Rich was the person who leaked information to Wikileaks. Seth Rich was then murdered in a mysterious ‘botched robbery’ in which nothing was stolen.

[Wikileaks’ Founder] Assange told me personally five times that it wasn’t a state or Russia,” said Hannity.

If you can prove disgruntled Democrats were the leakers and not the Russians, as Julian Assange has said … doesn’t that blow the whole thing out of the water?” said Hannity.
