GOP Stand Ground Against Obamacare. toon by Henry

Here is an awesome essay from Justin Smith urging the true Conservatives of the Republican to stand fast against Obama’s and his Dem Party cadres to compel some give and take. In so doing Republicans must make sure Obamacare and the Debt Ceiling are a part of that negotiation. Obama claims he represents the will of the people because he was reelected. Using the same logic Obama should realize the Conservative Republicans in the House were elected by their constituents to oppose Obamafication of the United States of America.

Hold Firm GOP

The current government shutdown represents so much more than a simple battle over passing a continuing resolution (CR) that raises the debt ceiling and defunds the Affordable Care Act. A few patriotic, conservative Republican/Tea Party Congressmen and Senators chose this moment to rightfully fight for nothing less than the freedom of future generations, while perfidious Progressive communist ideologues battle to ensure governance of the government, for the government and by the government, authoritarian control of a centralized government and the abrogation of the U.S. Constitution, as well as control over one sixth of the U.S. economy.

Senator Paul Ryan (R-Wisc), Finance Chair, has stated that 51 votes are enough to defund Obamacare, however, Senator Jon McCain (R-AZ) counters that 67 votes are needed to surmount an Obama veto. But the Cruz Plan focused on attempting to gain six Democrat votes from those facing elections in 2014, with the increasingly unpopular ACA hanging over them; therefore, with both houses of Congress opposed to Obamacare, the House position would have been significantly stronger during the ongoing “defund” fight, after any such veto.

After Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) delivered his admirable, conscientious and patriotic 21 hour filibuster, which advocated the suspension of the CR and debt ceiling negotiations until the Democrats agreed to defund the ACA, he attempted to inform his fellow Republicans on the necessity of voting against cloture on the House CR bill and the “defund Obamacare” amendment to the bill. This would have opened the debate and forced Sen. Harry Reid to have 60 votes in order to strip the “defund” amendment from the bill, according to Senate filibuster rules. Essentially, any Senator who voted for cloture, such as Bob Corker (R-TN) and Lamar Alexander (R-TN) – RINOs, voted to fund Obamacare.

Just before the government shutdown and the opening of the Obamacare enrollment period on October 1, 2013, the facts were making it clearer every day that Obamacare would not work. Unions are represented in nearly 1600 exemptions to the ACA, and even James Hoffa, Teamster president, remarked on the destruction of health care and “millions of jobs lost”, because of Obamacare; 15,000 UPS employees were informed that their spouses were being removed from their insurance, and employees at SeaWorld have had their hours reduced to 28, in order to avoid ACA’s regulations.

Obama, the Progressives and their signature piece of legislation, the Affordable Care Act, have done nothing that actually controls the cost of health care. They have placed price-controls on procedures and medical equipment, limited what doctors can do and placed Americans waiting in long lines (just check your wait time at the ACA enrollment website). And R.N.s, the back-bone of any decent hospital, are being fired all over the country, even at the esteemed Vanderbilt and Emory University Hospitals, because of Obamacare.

Never in the history of the United States has such a broad sweeping piece of entitlement legislation been passed without a bipartisan vote, and even FDR’s New Deal received some Republican votes. And yet, not one single Republican vote was in favor of the Affordable Care Act, which should indicate just how awful the ACA really is.

Since the government shutdown, Obama has stated that he would not allow the U.S. government to go into “default” on its debt, in order to scare the stock market/Wall Street and the American people, while Senator Chuck Schumer has hinted at an impending “depression.” Senator Mitch McConnell has parroted Obama’s very words and has sent Susan Collins, liberal Republican from Maine, to negotiate with a president who says that he “represents the American people” and “the American people will not negotiate with a gun to their head.”

Obama cannot represent any American absent the truth. The U.S. government is nowhere near default according to a Moody’s Credit Report from October 11, 2013. The U.S. currently takes in $256 billion a month, which is more than sufficient to pay for constitutionally mandated sections of government, such as defense and the postal service, and entitlement programs, such as Social Security; moreover, one must understand that any Congressman using such “default” and “depression” terminology, Republican or Democrat, wants to fool the American people into accepting the raising of the debt ceiling, and they want big government and all its associated power.

Ironically, although this President, elected by a coalition of minorities, special interests and crony capitalists (fascists), is the most extreme ideologue and corrupt President in U.S. history, as evidenced in numerous policy arenas where friends are rewarded (e.g. Solyndra, GM union, LARAZA) and enemies are punished (e.g. GM’s CEO, coal industry, Tea Party), Obama recklessly rails over the “extremists” in the Republican Party and “extortion tactics” that are creating a “constitutional crisis.” This is indicative of his disdain for Our U.S. Constitution and the checks and balances of divided government; and, it illuminates his wish that the House did not count or wield as much power as it does, so he can continue to do whatever he damn well pleases, as he spends and taxes the United States into economic ruin and collapse.

There are rumblings of numerous settlements and reopening of the government, however, Republicans should not accept such miniscule gains, as negotiated by Senator Collins regarding the removal of the tax on medical devices. And voicing the frustration of many Americans, Speaker John Boehner said, “This isn’t some damn game”, upon hearing the President state that he would not negotiate with Republicans until “after the government reopened and the debt ceiling is raised.”

On October 9, 2013, Representative Jack Kingsston (R-GA), a senior member of the Appropriations Committee, aptly and astutely stated, “There is a developing consensus that this is a lot bigger than an Obamacare discussion.”

Good men and women, such as Rep Michele Bachmann, Sen Mike Lee, Sen Rand Paul and Sen Ted Cruz, have demanded that the Obama administration and Harry Reid’s Progressive-controlled Senate curtail its out of control spending. With a $17 trillion national debt and approximately $100 trillion in unfunded entitlement debt, Americans are now faced with a President and Congress that has increased spending from 21% of the Gross Domestic Product to 24%, and now, the Progressives demand that we accept raising the debt ceiling, which amounts to another tax increase on all Americans; furthermore, defunding Obamacare has also become central to this battle, because several aforementioned “Tea Party” Statesmen understand the dangers the ACA represents to us all, especially our children, with a growing Progressive trend toward authoritarianism and a present administration that has already shown a propensity to use any information, in order to coerce and compel Americans to do its bidding: Let us hope that the Republicans hold firm, until the eradication of much, if not all, of Obamacare is part of any solution to the CR and raising the debt ceiling issues.

Otherwise, who among you wishes to entrust the future of America and your children to the ACA/Obamacare program, a fallacious Keynesian/Marxist philosophy, and a President and his supporters, who boast emptily of progress, renounce Our American Heritage, deny God and worship their own ideology?

A Patriot’s Answer

Justin Smith writes about defunding Obamacare even if the debt ceiling is not ultimately raised. He believes the onus of the lack of budget will fall on President Barack Hussein Obama and the rest of the big spending Socialist-minded Dems. Most importantly Justin calls on individual States to utilize Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a Constitutional Convention with a specified agenda to repeal Obamacare. A specified agenda would deal with the fear of both sides of the political spectrum that a Constitutional Convention is not a run-away convention destroying the spirit of the Founding Fathers’ revolutionary Constitution.

As the October 1, 2013 enrollment period for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) nears and Obama and a host of temporary politicians and Progressives gleefully ruminate over permanent societal changes effected by the PPACA, some Americans are preparing to submit to the ignoble lie called “Obamacare,” even though nothing exists in the entirety of U.S. history, the Constitution and the Commerce Clause that empowers any of the three branches of the federal government to force a person to enter into a legally binding contract against the individual’s will. And, no matter what nonsense Chief Justice John Roberts wrote, the majority of the American people still know Obamacare to be unConstitutional and representative of a gross overreach of power by the Obama administration and the Progressives.

Obama has “found loopholes,” that he and Progressives surely knew existed beforehand, which exempt Congress and their staffers and the Executive and staff from Obamacare. They act as if this is the Obama monarchy and they, Republican and Democrat alike, are his entourage of aristocrats!

Since when do we make laws applicable to only certain segments of society anymore? Since when are government officials above the law? And, why should I or anyone else comply with a law that even exempts the unions and does not apply evenly and equally throughout our society?

Although Obama has warned of an “economic backslide” if the Republicans bring the Obamacare fight to the continuing resolution and fight him over the budget (lack of a budget) and raising the debt ceiling, some Republicans in the Senate, such as Bob Corker (R-TN)are refusing to attempt to defund Obamacare by September 30, because they do not want the blame for any government shutdown that may result from this fight; and now that the House funded the entire government except for Obamacare with a vote of 230 to 189, the Progressives in the Senate probably will not pass the bill, Obama will not sign it and the Progressive Democrats will be the ones shutting down the government.

Why run from this battle? Let the government shut down, and place the onus on Obama; his actions during such a shutdown will surely serve to return the Congress and the Senate to solid, conservative, patriotic American leadership in 2014 and 2016. And, do not worry about the essentials of government, because they continue normally during a government shutdown, unless Obama’s inclination towards illegal activity moves him to act unConstitutionally and interfere with the military, Medicare and Social Security.

House Representatives, such as Diane Black (R-TN) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) have suggested that a government shutdown will allow Obama to decide which government services are the most vital for the “protection of life and property,” and they believe he will have the government purse at his disposal through “discretionary spending”. However, the President does not have such authority anywhere in the U.S. Constitution or any of its 27 Amendments. Essentially, they are saying that Obama will fund the PPACA even if he has to take funds from numerous government departments, illegally and unConstitutionally… which has never stopped him before; and, he may do just that, since he has no regard for the law, the U.S. Constitution or Our American Heritage!

Many elected officials, as well as noted newscaster Brit Hume (FoxNews), have observed that Obama will not readily accept a delay of the individual mandate, even though he illegally delayed the business mandate, because Obama needs to get the money flowing and people hooked on the “free” subsidized benefits under the PPACA; it is nearly impossible to reduce or end such a program, once it is really up and running, as history shows.

We cannot let Obamacare become permanently embedded in the social fabric of America; good or bad, Obamacare is nowhere near ready for implementation, therefore, delay, at the very least, is absolutely necessary, but ‘We the People’ continue to demand, “Defund Obamacare!”

When will anyone stand and fight? …ever?

“We don’t have the votes”…damn you Bob Corker…tell me something I don’t know and get out there and fight for those votes! If You spent as much time fighting to defund Obamacare as you do holding Obama’s hand and stating the obvious, Obamacare would already be a thing of the past!

Obama and his administration, the U.S. federal government or any government does not have the authority to trespass on our individual sovereignty. So, I will not be signing up for Obamacare on October 1, 2013 through January 2017, or at any time during my lifetime, and I will not voluntarily answer any medical questions on IRS tax-forms; fine me $285, $975 or $2085, I will not pay; come to arrest me, I will resist.

Anyone following my example will be called “criminal” by Obama and the Progressives… the real criminals. But, there is nothing “criminal” in defending the U.S. Constitution, Our American Heritage and our freedom, as we strive to return America to governance as a Constitutional Republic, rather than under an elitist despot. You are the Patriots!

As we engage in civil disobedience, let us all start a conversation with our state legislators and ask them to start working towards a States’ Convention for the purpose of proposing an Amendment to the Constitution that repeals the PPACA. A good starting point will have one state legislature…Tennessee, Virginia, Texas?… discuss this quickly with the other 49 legislatures; as soon as they can come to an agreement on this matter, they can begin choosing their delegates for the Convention.

Each respective state legislature will vote to attend or decline participation in such a Convention, and some states may place the question to the people in a referendum. It only takes thirty-three states presenting their Applications to congress to get the ball rolling, and Congress cannot impede this process in any manner, because its role regarding Article V is purely ministerial; the President and the U.S. Supreme Court cannot interfere with this Application or a convening States’ Convention.

There is also not any need to fear the myth of a “runaway Convention,” since each state delegate is sent with a very specific agenda in mind and directed by a quorum of the state legislature. These delegates are also subject to immediate recall if they stray erroneously from previously decided guidelines. And, whatever is proposed at one of these Conventions, in this case repealing Obamacare, must receive an affirmative vote from three fourths of the states; it naturally will also take some time to organize, but it is time well invested for the future of the American people.

Freedom and the dignity of the individual has never been more available and assured than right here in America, until the advance of the Obama regime. Our ancestors paid a high price for this Freedom, and Americans are certainly poised to pay a high price now and battle Obama and the Progressives with every available means. Whether or not Congress and the Senate ultimately defund Obamacare, Americans can and will decide on their own if they will be a free, responsible and prosperous people living under a Constitutional limited government or a dependent, indolent and impoverished people living at the State’s pleasure: We are too great a nation to limit ourselves and tolerate the confines of the tranny embodied by the PPACA and Obama’s “fundamental transformation!”

GOP Establishment is Reason to Abandon Republican Party

Tea-Party-vs-Establishment toon

John R. Houk

© January 11, 2013

Joseph Farah of WND wrote an editorial correctly castigating Establishment Republicans. Farah informs us that Establishment Republicans would like to jettison the influence of the Tea Party Movement that has actually invigorated the GOP in the face of the Left Wing agenda of the Democratic Party now controlled by its radical Left.

Establishment Republicans appear to me to be the Crony Capitalists that have an affinity to the power brokers of Big Business coupled with the GOP friends of Big Business. This union of power that Establishment Republicans represent cares more about Crony Capitalist interests than the Conservative Principles of Less Government, Fair Taxation and Social Conservative Values. (Full disclosure: I am a Social Conservative of the Christian Right. Significant numbers of Tea Partiers are more concerned with Less Government and fiscal issues such as Taxation and Budget.) The Tea Party Movement roughly represents the Conservative Values I listed.

The Establishment Republicans are no friends of the Obama radical Leftist transformation of American government and society; however the GOP Establishment political goals are apparently to keep the status quo afloat even if it means compromise with Socialist concepts. The GOP Establishment is probably relying on cyclical politics believing the voting cycle will sway the GOP back into the majority in Congress. A GOP Congressional majority means the ability to undo any drastic Socialistic legislation that threatens Crony Capitalism. In the old give and take of status quo politics some Socialist principles gain a foothold as the give and take game between Dems and GOP Establishment continues the political tide of the ebb and flow.

The Tea Party Movement and the radical agenda of Obamunism is the monkey wrench that has the ability of screwing up the mechanization of status quo politics. The old status quo of Dem and Establishment Republicans will come to a termination in America’s future eventually. The real choice for Americans will be Obama Transformationism (‘Change’) or Tea Party Conservatism desiring to retain the Original Intent of the U.S. Constitution.

Joseph Farah wants the grassroots Tea Party organizations to unite and influence Republicans away from Establishment control and bring the GOP under Tea Party Conservative Principles control.

Friends – that will never happen. The Establishment Republicans control the purse strings of the Republican Party. That became evident to me in the 2012 election cycle when the GOP Establishment rooted and confirmed Establishment Republican Mitt Romney as the GOP nominee for President. Romney was and is a status quo politician that tried to pretend to have Conservative credential disowning many Left Wing actions of his past.

I was miserable when Romney won the nomination. And yet I voted for Romney over Obama under one reason: ANYBODY BUT OBAMA. Clearly Romney ran a status quo campaign hoping that people like me would vote for him. If Romney was willing to take a more politically incorrect campaign to Obama I believe Romney would have won.

The Romney loss has made it clear to me that the Republican Party managed by the Establishment will only use the Tea Party Movement and Conservative Principles to trick us into voting Republican.

Farah would have us shore up the GOP.

I would have you abandon the GOP and form a Conservative political Party that unites the diverse Tea Party organizations into a monolithic political bloc. A clear choice for Americans is the only way voters can take responsibility for those who are elected. If the voters continue to support Obamunism by electing Socialist minded Lefties as President and Left Wing Congressman and Senators then America deserves the consequences the lack of Liberty, the lack of Free Markets and the creation of a Secular Humanist society that eschews Judea-Christian Values and embraces Moral Relativity turning America into an immoral Mordor (Mordor etymology – inspiration) that will eventually destroy the USA from within.

Thinking about Armageddon

Exclusive: Joseph Farah likens ultimate battle to fight against GOP establishment in D.C.

By Joseph Farah

January 10, 2013

JERUSALEM – Being present here so close to the Valley of Megiddo, where the battle of Armageddon will be waged, makes one thing about matters of an apocalyptic nature.

It was just last month that the world was supposed to end, according to the Mayan calendar.

Then immediately following all anyone heard about in the U.S. was the “fiscal cliff” – with even more media hysteria.

The idea perpetuated by the press was that if taxes weren’t raised and the debt limit wasn’t hiked, the world as we know it would end.

Because the government would no longer be able to spend more than $1 trillion than it takes in every year for programs that are mostly unconstitutional, wasteful, useless and counterproductive anyway.

It would be easy to sit here so far away from Washington and point the finger at Barack Obama, Democrats and the media.

But, honestly, this time, that wouldn’t be fair and honest.

They’re simply doing what we should expect them to do, what they always do – expanding government by any means necessary.

It’s the other guys, the establishment Republicans, the ones who have as much contempt for the people, the ones who loathe the tea-party movement that gave them control of the House, that are responsible for pushing us inevitably toward a real fiscal cliff – economic and moral bankruptcy.

I’ve been chronicling this betrayal since January 2011, in case you haven’t been paying attention. I was the guy who created the “No More Red Ink” campaign back then to pressure Republican House members not to increase the debt limit – or, at the very least, to use their power to force major spending cuts.

Despite deluging them with more than a million red letters urging them to stand up for the Constitution, for doing the right thing, for the campaign promises they made, only 22 courageous Republican House members refused to go along with the scam authored by House Speaker John Boehner with the collusion of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Don’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime to tour Israel with Joseph Farah and messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of the No. 1 best-selling Christian book of 2012, “The Harbinger.”

It was in July of 2011 that the inevitability of tax raises and borrowing as far as the eye can see was etched in stone in a deal cut between the establishment Republicans and the Democrats.

Boehner told House Republicans to “get their a– in line” and vote for bill that cut no spending and gave Obama all the cash he needed to start implementing his national health-care scheme, increase food stamp payments exponentially to buy more votes and to pay off his friends with stimulus cash. McConnell’s collusion allowed the debt ceiling to be lifted without any member of Congress taking responsibility to vote on it.

In the battle of Armageddon, as I read it, there are actually good guys as well as bad guys. The good guys win.

With the economic apocalypse shaping up in the U.S., it’s hard to find the good guys. They are extremely scarce. It seems like almost everyone in Washington actually thinks business as usual is somehow sustainable.

It’s not.

That’s why we need more Ron Pauls and Michele Bachmanns in Washington. That’s why we need more Rand Pauls and Jim DeMints. That’s why we need the tea party to awaken from its slumber with more determination and commitment than ever before. That’s why we need to start saying no to Washington – and meaning it. That’s why we need to exert some real force and be willing to sacrifice our time if we are to save the next generation from tyranny and poverty that Americans haven’t known since the Great Depression.

If you are as angry as I am about Republican establishment ineptitude and corruption, you can start by letting all House Republicans know. It’s time to take sides – either with jokers like Boehner or with the people and the Constitution. You can start by putting them on notice by becoming part of the “No More Red Ink” campaign.

There is a Mysterious Subterfuge of Leftist Transformation

Hydrogen Barackside Cure-All

John R. Houk

Standard & Poor warned of a downgrade of United States credit rating. There was data and hints from S & P of what kind of hoops the U.S. government must do to avoid the rating downgrade. Conservatives felt that there should be a lid on the debt ceiling, a Balanced Budget, cuts in wasteful government spending and fewer taxes or some find of tax reform that encouraged business with the hope that jobs would be created with the forethought that more jobs meant more tax revenue. Leftists (in my estimation) desired higher taxes with a focus on the wealthy, closing tax loopholes for the wealthy, more government spending to fund government programs that would miraculously lead to job creation which in turn mean more tax revenue and having no qualms about raising the debt ceiling because after all we can have the Fed print more money for circulation.

The Republicans and Democrats were light years apart on which hoops to jump through to entice S & P not to downgrade the U.S. credit rating. With pressure rising concerning the debt ceiling and the effectiveness of the U.S. government to continue its obligations (e.g. payroll, Medicare, SS Checks, and so on) financially, Democrats and Republicans went behind closed doors to verbally duke it out about the old give and take compromises that would be needed.

In a twelfth hour kind of move behind closed doors a temporary deal was made which included rising the debt ceiling. The deal included tackling the U.S. debt at a later time on a bipartisan basis.

After the hoops were all jumped through the S & P still downgraded the U.S. credit rating. With the downgrade came the political finger pointing between White House-Dems and Republicans.

The propaganda impetus from the Left is that it is all President Bush’s fault followed by the intransience of Tea Party Republicans. Every intelligent person realizes the Tea Party did more to work on the debt problem rather than the Dems who were more active in taxing the rich to keep the status quo Government programs for the poor and illegal aliens with thoughts of 2012 votes more than government solvency. So with a little deceptive smoke and mirrors the propaganda agenda of the Dems is to vilify the Tea Party Movement as the problem that ails the Obamanation-Dem managed government. The plan appears that if the Dems can get enough mud to stick to Tea Partiers voters will not view Tea Party influence as a new hope for better government. The fabricated mud of the Dems is hoped to make voters forget about all the Obama “Change” mantra used by Obamasiah to transform America into a Secular Humanist-Moral Relativist-Socialistic Utopia (SA Rules for Radicals excerpts by Saul Alinsky).

When one hears, sees or reads criticism of the Tea Party Movement you are reading criticism of people that belief in Original Intent interpretation of the U.S. Constitution. Tea Partiers and smart Americans are simply resisting the Obama concept of change.

Writing all that I will turn you toward some edited emails from Tony Newbill that expresses concern over Conspiracy Theory (incidentally Newbill dislikes my association of his info with the words “Conspiracy Theory”) with the S & P credit rating downgrade as part of the NWO Left Wing transformation.
