Thanks to America’s Founding Fathers we live in nation in which a Constitution was crafted with the thought of limiting the power of a Centralized national government. Thus in the USA the central (Federal) government consists of three branches: Executive, Legislative and Judiciary. The Constitutional theory behind the three branches is that each is to balance power with checks on the other’s authority.

The theory was to protect “We The People” from government despotism experienced by American Colonialists prior to American Independence and the hope to prevent future government despotism.

Checks and Balances worked well until national divisions on American culture divided the nation over slavery. The U.S.’s more industrialized Northeastern States began the desire to impose its will on the more agrarian slave-economy Southern States.

Abraham Lincoln stood in the middle realizing the only strong America was a united America. Lincoln utilized the War between State visions to extend the power of the Federal government which occurred after the more industrialized Northern States provided the manpower to overcome the agrarian Southern States.

The benefit was the blight of slavery ended nationally. The deficit was the increase of power of a central government over the Liberty of individual Americans. The Liberty deficit has increased in favor of government intrusion pretty much since 1865.

Taxation needed to feed that centralized government robbed more American Liberty. Two World Wars; the Cold War (really war against Soviet Communism); involvement in Cold War-related regional wars (e.g. Korea & Vietnam) and more recently a Global War on Islamic Terrorism — have all contributed to more power to the Central government to increased deficit to Individual Liberty.

NOW it appears the Coronavirus/COVID-19 global pandemic originating from Communist China very likely is on the very cusp of robbing more American Liberty.

Recommended self-quarantining seems to be evolving to mandatory quarantining to the point martial law restrictions on travel. On a personal level I actually understand strong measures may enter desperation for the public good. MY PROBLEM: strong measures tend to stick around even after the public good has been served.

The strong measures concerning me is the government utilization of travel papers to move around geographically. Are Checks and Balances irrelevant in today’s application? How long will travel papers be required in post-pandemic days in America?

Liberty deficits are rarely restored once removed. THAT CONCERNS ME and it should concern YOU my fellow American.

Did you ever think we’d reach the point in the United States where you had to have papers to freely travel from one place to another? It appears we’re at the point.

The MTA issued “travel papers” to their workers

On March 17th, a few days before New York issued a shelter in place order, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority issued “travel papers” to their employees to prepare for a potential coronavirus curfew. The NY Daily News reports:

If non-emergency travel is restricted, workers can show law enforcement officials the letter if they’re stopped on the way to work.

“This letter along with current New York CIty Transit identification identifies this individual as an essential employee who is required to travel during the curfew imposed due to the Coronavirus emergency,” states the letter, which is signed by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Police Department’s acting chief Joseph McGrann. “Please give this individual due consideration during this crisis.”

MTA spokeswoman Abbey Collins said the letter was distributed on Monday to a “limited number of NYCT bus employees living in New Jersey” because the state’s Gov. Murphy suggested imposing a statewide curfew between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. (source)

Clearly, the wheels have been in motion for several days. And it’s not just the MTA.

Your papers, please.

For everyone who thought the article about the Lockdown of America was a “hysterical overstatement” and that they could still do whatever they wanted because it wasn’t really being enforced, what are you thinking now that “travel papers” are being handed out? To me, this sounds like the lockdowns I wrote of yesterday were just the first incremental step toward a society that nobody hopes to see.

Yesterday, readers sent me photos of “travel papers” provided to them by employers so they could get to and from work. These are employees who work in industries like healthcare, pharmacies, and food service, as well as those who work in the production, transport, and sales of essential supplies.

One reader wrote, “We were told to show these if we got stopped on the way to or from work and that if the authorities gave us any trouble, to not argue and just go back home.”

Papers that people sent were from Pennsylvania, New York, Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Kansas, New Jersey, West Virginia, Virginia, Oregon, Florida, Louisiana, and Ohio. Most people were given their papers on Friday or Saturday and told they’d need them to get to and from work starting the week ahead.

I wonder who’s going to be checking your “travel papers.” Will it be the local PD? The National Guard? The military? Maybe it’ll be all those TSA agents who are currently out of work but already accustomed to molesting innocent travelers.

What does this mean for those told they’d be able to go to the store?

We’ve been repeatedly told during task force press conferences that nobody needs to worry about buying extra supplies because the stores will remain open. We were chastised about stocking up and “hoarding” supplies. But if you need travel papers just to get to work, how will a person get to the store when they need to pick up some groceries? Will these papers only be required during certain hours?

It’s easy to prove you just went to the store when you have a bag of groceries in hand, but how do you prove you are going to the store? Will they just begin distributing the food to us as opposed to allowing people to shop for their own food?

A little clarity and less subterfuge would go a lot further toward preventing concern that we’re about to go full Wuhan here in America.

If I didn’t have supplies already, I would head to the store today and get enough for a couple of extra weeks at the very least. Here are some ideas for finding supplies amidst the picked-over inventory that remains.

So, what happens if you get caught without your papers? I’m glad you asked.

It seems like the DoJ is itching to suspend the Constitution.

At this point, the “Department of Justice” sounds like one of those other phrases the government uses to mean the complete opposite. Like the “Patriot Act” which is as far from patriotic as it gets.

And speaking of the Patriot Act, the government is now introducing what I’d like to dub the Pandemic Patriot Act 2.0.

The DoJ has secretly asked Congress to draft legislation allowing them to indefinitely detain people without due process during the coronavirus pandemic. Because who doesn’t want to add a little spice to our economic crisis with the added threat of indefinite detention?

Documents reviewed by POLITICO detail the department’s requests to lawmakers on a host of topics, including the statute of limitations, asylum and the way court hearings are conducted. POLITICO also reviewed and previously reported on documents seeking the authority to extend deadlines on merger reviews and prosecutions…

…In one of the documents, the department proposed that Congress grant the attorney general power to ask the chief judge of any district court to pause court proceedings “whenever the district court is fully or partially closed by virtue of any natural disaster, civil disobedience, or other emergency situation.”

The proposal would also grant those top judges broad authority to pause court proceedings during emergencies. It would apply to “any statutes or rules of procedure otherwise affecting pre-arrest, post-arrest, pre-trial, trial, and post-trial procedures in criminal and juvenile proceedings and all civil process and proceedings,” according to draft legislative language the department shared with Congress. In making the case for the change, the DOJ document wrote that individual judges can currently pause proceedings during emergencies, but that their proposal would make sure all judges in any particular district could handle emergencies “in a consistent manner.” (source)

What the heck are “pre-arrest” procedures, anyway? Is that the part where government investigators go and set someone up to commit a crime like all those “bombing plots” the FBI keeps saving us from?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see another 300-page legislation like the original Patriot Act that was rolled out just weeks after 9/11, giving us the TSA, indefinite detention, and all sorts of other dystopian nonsense.

Never let a serious crisis go to waste.

In the infamous words of Rahm Emmanuel, the former mayor of Chicago, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

It looks like the government is taking those words to heart with travel papers and new draconian laws.

Since I wrote the article about America locking down yesterday, more states have joined in. Now New York, California, Illinois, Connecticut, and New Jersey are all under restriction.

Is your state coming soon? Are these lockdowns being rolled out incrementally, starting out gently (sure you can walk your dog!) and then moving on to the point where you can’t leave your house without “travel papers?”

So far, 2020 has brought us an out-of-control deadly pandemic, an economic collapse, statewide lockdowns, and now travel papers and a potential new law to eradicate the Fifth Amendment.

I hesitate to ask what’s next.

COVID-19 and the Loss of Liberty

America Trends Towards Martial Law

Hard as it is to imagine, many people are buying the current propaganda being generated by the World Health Organization, the Trump administration and governments around the globe, as some, such as Greg Gutfeld of Fox News, are agreeing that this COVID-19 scare is tantamount to a war against an unseen enemy, after President Trump declared a national emergency on March 13th and later essentially called himself “a wartime president”. COVID-19, as bad as it is, is nowhere close to visiting the horrors of war on America, that the world saw during the invasion of Normandy during WWII, when 10,000 men were wounded and killed. And far more than the severe and highly dangerous and deadly pandemic COVID-19 has been painted to be, it is actually serving as cover for the greatest economic collapse in U.S. history, a global collapse in fact, and an excuse to go full steam ahead with a Modern Monetary Theory that facilitates out-of-control spending and printing as much money as a nation wants, along with passing any new “law” that ensures public compliance with everything to follow this complete reset of the global order and a loss of liberty.

America is being told it now faces a “serious and deadly” COVID-19 outbreak, that has only resulted in 88 deaths in the country, so far, and that is terrible to hear on any day, and especially so for the family members; but, COVID-19 isn’t any greater a threat or more virulent or deadly than the yearly influenza virus this flu season. And yet everywhere in the nation, America is being placed in quarantine by way of arbitrary commands and unconstitutional orders, similar to the likes of those that were contrived, connived and agreed upon by President Trump and the Democratic Party tyrant wannabe, Governor Andrew Cuomo, for the State of New York, while the national guard is preparing for “urban lockdowns” in several states, through heavy-handed and oppressive social and economic control [some refer to it as “soft tyranny”], even though the worse case scenario that predicts millions of deaths in our country will NEVER happen, unless the sun suddenly doesn’t rise bright in the morning.

The current “pandemic” is just the latest “enemy of the state”, that is being manipulated by the U.S. federal government emboldened over the past three decades and more willing now than ever to fabricate fear to secure a political end. Political ends are always about greater control, corruption, and too often hiding government wrongdoing, cover-ups. [Blog Editor: Bold emphasis mine]

Once upon a time, Frederic Bastiat, the magnificently profound philosopher, noted: “The politician attempts to remedy the evil by increasing the very thing that caused the evil in the first place: legal plunder.”

Just recently, the Federal Reserve Bank approved $1.5 trillion more to bail out the Repurchasing Markets, bringing the total to approximately $5 trillion spent since September 2nd 2019 to essentially cover the massive leverage built by banks and hedge funds again, the same exact bad practices that led to the economic crisis of 2008; and, despite President Trump’s assurances that corporate America isn’t to blame this time. This is the equivalent of adding $40,000 more in taxpayer debt to every American household. And it went unnoticed by ninety-nine percent of America.

It is important to note here, that the Fed began its second epic “bank bailout”, another massive theft and transference of wealth, on September 2nd, and so, from that alone, it should be readily apparent that the current financial crisis has absolutely nothing to do with the COVID-19 virus, although the current charade is certain to exacerbate it and make the crisis deepen, providing all the excuse the government needs to continue to suppress our individual liberty along the way.

On March 16th, the U.S. stock market suffered its worse point loss in U.S. history, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average took a loss of nearly 3000 points and wiped out all gains in the last three years. Its 12.93 percent loss was greater what we saw on October 28th 1929 when the Dow lost 12.8 percent, but it is only the second greatest percentage loss in U.S. history, far from the 22.6 percent loss of Black Monday, October 19th 1987.

Although we could not have predicted COVID-19, it was only the trigger for the ongoing financial crash, the proverbial straw that broke the finance sector’s back. With asset price bubbles across the world and the total global debt over 322 percent of the world gross domestic product in the third quarter of 2019, something was certain to break, and we are seeing the results now.

On March 17th 2020, Pam and Russ Martens, financial experts, observed: “And yet no matter what pundit you see on TV, all that one hears is that Wall Street banks have plenty of capital. These two things cannot be simultaneously true: the Fed cannot have had to be pumping hundreds of billions of dollars each week into Wall Street banks and their trading arms for the past six months (long before there was any coronavirus outbreak anywhere in the world) if these banks actually did have adequate capital.”

Despite all the blame being laid upon the COVID-19 outbreak, one must note that over a century ago, in 1918-19, a true pandemic and epidemic of the Spanish flu created chaos, as 500 million were infected worldwide and 50 million people died from the virus, and approximately 675,000 of those deaths were Americans. And even though this pandemic was the deadliest in history, the Dow Jones rose throughout the year from 76 to 81. Now isn’t that interesting?

Once again, I iterate the fact that our leaders are further destroying the economy, by printing trillions of dollars more, and throwing good money after bad without any sound reason, other than corrupt politicians and bankers are benefiting and pocketing massive amounts of real asset wealth that will be seen in catastrophic retail inflation, similar to 1923 Germany, and later tax rate hikes for the average taxpayer on down the road, especially if a 1929 credit collapse is currently underway.

If any government assistance of any kind is distributed, it should be given to the elderly and those with the most severe symptoms and reactions to COVID-19, not just handed out like a security blanket to everyone and anybody; however, on March 14th, the House passed the Families First Act that offers two weeks of paid sick leave to COVID-19 victims, paying their entire salary up to $511 per day (approximately $130,000 a year). And ironically and typical for our corrupt government, large companies with over five-hundred employees are exempt.

As I have stated in other articles, President Trump believes he has no real choice except to be seen acting proactively in the face of COVID-19, no matter the unintended consequences of those actions, as he also deals with the very real and separate crisis of an economy under threat of a massive collapse. However, the guidance he has set in place and his tacit support of the continued fear-mongering by advisors, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is giving rise to many egregious and tyrannical local responses, all from his own fear that he cannot get re-elected, unless he rolls with the current Deep State project, postures for political gain and allows our Bill of Rights to be trashed in the process.

There is not any federal authority in existence than can legally force everyone across the nation everywhere to stay home and self-quarantine or “Self-isolate”, however, federal powers combined with extensive state and local emergency powers can and are, essentially effecting a national shutdown, as we also find the largest corporations, like Amazon and Nissan and many others operating in the U.S., now going along with the suggested two to three week closures, or restricted operations. This is forcing millions of Americans to stay at home, sick or not, when millions are one paycheck away from homelessness and other catastrophes that go hand-in-hand with financial ruin; this applies equally to small businesses too.

And yet, all across America we see a new trend, whereby military and police now act as if America is under martial law without a formal declaration of such. Many states, such as New Jersey, California, Ohio, Illinois, Massachusetts and Washington, have already taken unconstitutional martial law measures without an official declaration, exhibiting our potential unconstitutional future under any new fear, real or imagined, once this crisis has passed.

Americans are being forced to stay home by New York Governor Cuomo, if they are not deemed “essential workers”. He has issued an arbitrary, selective and unconstitutional executive order that requires companies to send fifty percent of their people home to “Self-isolate”. Well, don’t essential workers get sick? What’s the difference, when there isn’t any “cure” and the only recommended treatment is identical to what one would do with the common cold?

Worse yet, according to Fox 5 San Diego, on March 19th, the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, issued a “stay at home” order effective immediately and to remain in place “until further notice”. And, in clarification, Fox 5 also reported, “Everyone is required to stay home except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care, or go to an essential job.”

San Francisco has ordered county and city law enforcement to “ensure compliance” with its recent “shelter in place” order, prior to Gov. Newsom’s order, although officials stated they would not “rush to enforce” the directives, while residents were fully informed to what is permissible. Any violation of the orders will supposedly be considered a misdemeanor punishable by a fine or jail time.

One certainly cannot help but wonder, who will be the first American arrested for violating a “stay at home” or “shelter in place” order?

On March 12th in Champaign, Illinois, Mayor Deborah Feinen declared a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 outbreak granting herself the power to ban firearms, alcohol and gasoline, during the “crisis”, along with the power to prevent individuals’ from accessing gas, water and electricity, and even to take possession of private property, according to the Washington Examiner.

The Mayor of Nashville, TN, John Cooper, not to be outdone by anyone, ordered bars on Lower Broadway and throughout Davidson County to close their business, on March 15th, until further notice. All restaurants were told to limit their maximum seating to fifty percent of available seated capacity, all of which is absolutely in violation of the spirit of our Declaration of Independence and the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness and the Constitution itself. The orders are certain to be met with challenges along the way, such as already presented by the owners of Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Honky Tonk Central and Kid Rock’s establishments, who called Cooper’s orders “unconstitutional”, as they vowed to remain open until Governor Bill Lee issues a statewide mandate.

Nashville’s Downtown Merchant Association responded to the rise of unconstitutional orders across the country, in part, with the following statement: “We are compassionate with those who have contracted the COVID-19 coronavirus and all who are helping manage the crisis as the entire world addresses the outbreak. However, a Tootsie’s patron as immediate as last night, mentioned having lived through the polio epidemic and didn’t recall such extreme measures being handed down in history.”

In one breath the government tells us all to stay home for two weeks, and in another they disingenuously claim there isn’t any reason to hoard anything. But just how are Americans then expected to survive, if they don’t stock up for what could extend into eight weeks or longer?

Political posturing is the rule today in our polarized country, as politicians go through the motions of a contrived COVID-19 crisis. Political concerns seem to be more important than what is the best course for everybody’s health and finances, in their fear that a refusal to shut the nation down will result in blame for every death being blamed on their political inaction. And there will be a steep price to be paid, at the expense of our individual liberty.

Nobody really knows how deep and harsh this will get, and just maybe those who do have an inkling aren’t sayin’, but it goes without saying that a good deal of disorder will come of this ordeal. One must wonder what America looks like in the aftermath, once all the dust has settled.

Former Congressman and Presidential candidate, Ron Paul, wrote the following on March 16th: “Governments love crises because when the people are fearful they are more willing to give up their freedoms for promises that the government will take care of them. After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the near-total destruction of their civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act’s hollow promises of security.

It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans.”

Our Constitutional Rights have steadily been attacked and eroded for decades now, but especially so with the PATRIOT Act and the FISA Reauthorization Act, but if anyone thinks the U.S. federal government has trashed their rights, just wait. The worse is yet to come.

Every current action being taken by Congress is to save Wall Street and the mega-corporations who control it, while President Trump and his administration follow the exact same playbook from the 2008 economic collapse, as the average Americans lose jobs and watch their 401k portfolios wiped out for the third time in the last two decades. Main Street is once again getting the worse end of any deals coming out of current legislation, as the Zero Interest Rate Policy harms senior citizens’ retirement funds, while the propaganda from the media continues to move the most ignorant masses within the nation to beg the government, their “Keepers”, to save their lives. Critical thinking Americans have already concluded that their elected and unelected government officials — so-called “leaders” — have once again proven themselves to be incompetent, corrupt and evil.

More than any threat from any virus, Americans should worry for the cause of liberty in our country, as we see our government evolving into a thing far too willing to take control over every segment of our lives and imprison us, if we do not comply with their fiats and diktats. Liberty faces a very real threat from the socialists and communists of the Democratic Party, who urge a far too willing President Trump for more dictatorial measures in the face of a manufactured crisis, as the CDC pulls the wool over the nation’s eyes and our massive debt seems poised to come crashing down like an avalanche, while the Federal Reserve continues to act like a whore for the Wall Street bankers; and, in the meantime, the nation is mere steps away from military vehicles patrolling our streets threatening citizens with arrest or death, once the current social order begins to be swept away, as decades of thievery, corruption, lies and corporate fascism come crashing down. And, if America is still strong enough to face the gravest of consequences, the wheat will be separated from the chaff and those proponents of truth, life and liberty will pick up the pieces and determine the future of this America I love so well.

An Intro to ‘The Unsustainable Trajectory of America’s Economy’

As a Conservative in 2016 I was a Cruzer (Ted Cruz). After Cruz’s mathematical elimination from winning the GOP nomination, only then did I support Donald Trump.

In my mind Trump did not fit my image of a guy that supported Christian causes such as Christian religious freedom, Pro-Life, Pro-Israel, Pro-Originalist Judges and Anti-LGBTQ (who desire the destruction of Christian morals in America. Trump early got on board with Conservative thoughts on illegal immigration and the craziness of importing American-Culture-hating Muslim refugees. That got my attention.

I’m a limited government, Balance the Budget, Bring down deficit spending guy too; but the above issues I listed are more important to me. Trump has delivered or at least worked hard in the face of Dem obstruction to deliver on my primary list of concerns (although Trump seems a bit wishy-washy on LGBTQ morality). Lately President is even vocally lining up behind pro-2^nd Amendment issues.

For Conservatives that economics is a primacy, President Trump’s economic actions pertaining to Budget issues should be a huge waving red flag. The Unsustainable Trajectory of America’s Economy

America is witnessing President Trump’s “I’ve abandoned free market principles to save the free market system”” moment, similar to former President George Bush on November 16th 2008 and the high-speed implementation employed by former President Obama in 2009, as Trump presented his 2021 Budget and a $4.8 trillion spending plan to the press on February 10th. It is a farce of a “budget”, since it doesn’t even balance until 2035, according to the Wall Street Journal, and it sells America a load of economic crap, that includes the same old out-of-control socialist spending, now adopted by the Republican Party too, minus the taxes, and certain to harm America; given the socialist trends in the ranks of the Millennials, the Democrats are certain to hold the White House during a few of these years and take full advantage of Trump’s lapse in judgement on this issue.

On January 18th 2020, the Washington Post reported: “To those who criticized his spending and the growth of the national debt, Trump said: ‘Who the hell cares about the budget? We’re going to have a country.’

For most of President Barack Obama’s time in office, Republicans seemed to care very much about the budget, making fears around the national debt and deficit their top talking point. They’ve backed off those concerns under Trump.”

President Trump’s proposal will run a near trillion dollar, $996 billion [Blog Editor: I couldn’t locate “$996 billion” figure nonetheless there are a plethora of sources predicting a near or over a Trillion dollar deficit for 2020; e.g.: fxstreet.com, MarketWatch.com, baynews9.com, cbo.gov and more], deficit next year, just as he did in the previous years of his administration, that is close to fifty-percent higher than the $666 billion deficit Trump inherited from President Obama in 2017. Federal spending will accelerate from $4.6 trillion next year to more than $6.5 trillion in 2030, and the proposed cuts to be made by Congress in this year’s budget are not significant enough to offset the recent spending increases Trump has approved since taking office.

And all of this with our national debt at over $23 trillion, rapidly on its way to $24 trillion.

Has America so soon forgotten the worse economic recession since the 1930s — the 2008 economic collapse and the collapse of fifty percent of the stock market — and the terrible risks banks and businesses took that created it? Not much has changed, because many of the financial markets proceeded, from the first day of the bailout, that followed, to the present, with the same exact risky practices. They know the government, essentially the U.S. taxpayer — the American people, will bail them out again, that is if there’s any money or credit line available for a bailout, which is going to be unlikely.

Midway of 2008, the United States’ national debt was approximately $9.4 trillion and right at 65 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Consumer debt stood at $2.7 trillion, while the total credit market debt had peaked at $54 trillion. And mortgage debt was a massive $14.8 trillion, as the Federal Reserve balance sheet remained below $900 billion as it had for years.

Most logical minded Americans believed then and now that there is not any such thing as “too big to fail”, and they thought the regular bankruptcy laws could have handled the situation and allowed the crisis to settle itself. People understood that liquidating bad debt and expunging it from the system would reset the economy forcing corporations and consumers to live within their means and act conservatively, using debt wisely for real needs, and most of us saw that as the best road to take for America’s future.

AIG, Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Citicorp, Bank of America and several other “too big to fail” banks were bankrupt by September of 2008. They should have been liquidated through existing bankruptcy law, and their assets should have been sold to still reputable banks that had not undertaken fraudulent risks, that hit their investors with devastating consequences.

Nobody in 2007 would have ever forecast that the national debt would climb to over $23 trillion during the past twelve years, or that the national debt would be 105 percent of GDP, with consumer debt exceeding $4 trillion. The ruling class “elite” of both parties have had their propaganda machines operating at warp speed to convince Americans that somehow $1 trillion annual deficits are normal and sustainable.

Never underestimate the ability of this president, or any president, or any Congress and the Federal Reserve to take outrageous and reckless steps to convince America that the abnormal is really normal. One should always keep in mind the egregious $700 billion TARP bailout and the lies and threats Hank Paulson perpetrated in order to protect his billionaire pals, whenever one gives scrutiny to today’s events.

President Donald Trump promised to eliminate the national debt in eight years, and although I thought it was an impossible task at the time, I did think Trump might reduce spending quite a bit, along with reducing annual deficits. He was constantly haranguing the Federal Reserve’s moves to keep interest rates at an unsafe level, which created a stock market bubble and contributed to the exorbitant rise in debt; and, one would have thought that after experiencing one Federal Reserve induced market crash after another, the American people would have realized this gross rise in debt since the 1990s had to end.

But Trump’s relationship with the Truth is something far less than stellar, and for him, it is something to manipulate at the drop of a dime and to shift in content depending on the President’s immediate need and desired effect. And over the years, he has used this manipulation to bend Fed puppet, Jerome Powell, to do his bidding, after finding the Fed’s 2.25 percent rate increase too much to handle.

In July 2019, President Trump stated: “The U.S. economy would grow more quickly if monetary policy were eased. If we had a Fed that would lower interest rates, we would be like a rocket ship. We don’t have a Fed that knows what they’re doing. Our most difficult problem is not our competitors, it is the Federal Reserve. The Fed raised rates too soon, too often, and doesn’t have a clue!”

That’s quite contrary to what Candidate Trump was saying on the campaign trail in September 2016, when he stated: “They’re keeping the rates down so that everything else doesn’t go down. We have a very false economy (J. Smith: something I’ve stated for years now). At some point the rates are going to have to change. The only thing that is strong is the artificial stock market. The U.S. economy is in a big, fat, ugly bubble. I will get rid of the nation’s more than $19 trillion national debt over a period of eight years. I’m renegotiating all of our deals, the big trade deals that we’re doing so badly on. (J. Smith: And still are, i.e. USMCA)”

Will the Real Donald Trump please stand up? It’s almost as though we have a president with multiple personalities, at least two at conflict with one another.

Trump’s proposed $4.4 trillion cuts to domestic spending, including $2 trillion in promised savings from entitlement programs, with some $844 billion cuts to Medicaid and $750 billion to Medicare spread over the next decade. With Congress unlikely to cooperate on this and Trump unwilling to spend too much political capital on it, this will probably fall by the wayside. After calling for fairly large domestic spending cuts in 2018, Trump still signed a deal in 2019 that added $320 billion in spending and demolished previous spending caps.

And even when Republicans controlled both the House and the Senate, they still agreed to a bipartisan budget that increased domestic discretionary spending in all government departments, especially the Pentagon. They essentially refused to cut the State Department’s and the Environmental Protection Agency’s budgets, so whether they follow through with cutting the EPA by 26 percent in this budget is anyone’s guess.

Ironically, on February 4th, when Pres. Trump was practicing his State of the Union Speech for twenty Republican supporters, former Congressional deficit hawk, Mick Mulvaney, head of the Office of Management and Budget, argued there wasn’t any need to mention the growing deficit, because :nobody cares” about it. That’s a one-hundred and eighty degree turnaround since he campaigned to earn his spot over the OMB and a time he made deficit reduction his “central policy concern.” Mulvaney’s change of heart seems to have coincided with the Republican Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

And, on February 7th 2020, Vice-President Mike Pence told MSNBC’s audience that deficits can help boost economic growth, which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Republican Party, or at least Trump’s Republican Party, has now seeming embraced socialist and Keynesian economics and notions on spending. This same argument used by Leftists across America used to drive Republicans to some great degree of anger, whenever it was stated by Obama and his staff.

The federal subsidies are still flowing to the Repurchasing Markets at $100 billion a day, as they have since October, so corporations can buy back billions of their own stock, resulting in the artificially high stock market, the highest valuations since 2000. And in the meantime, the military is getting anything and everything it wants, as America continues to act as the World’s Policeman and our entitlement payouts are constant and on an unsustainable trajectory, as President Donald John Trump and all the feckless Congressmen in Washington, D.C. pretend all is well.

Despite boasts of the “Greatest Economy Ever”, record corporate profits, stock market the highest ever, lowest unemployment in history and the Federal Reserve balance sheet at $750 billion, approximately $150 billion lower than normal, and interest rates still at emergency levels, somehow the Federal Reserve feels compelled to cut rates and restart Quantitative Easing, although they are not using that terminology. Powell is taking Trump’s orders and acting in a way that is only ever seen during a recession or a financial crisis.

Several successive administrations have used every debt based solution for this debt based crisis in their attempt to avoid another 1930s style Depression, but essentially, they have merely ensured that the next collapse is going to be exponentially much worse than it has to be. And the angst and divisions in our society are only compounding the situation through a whispered promise of impending catastrophe that sweeps the existing social order away in a chaotic cataclysm of death and destruction and all-out war.

America’s future is being stolen and sold. The future of America’s children is being stolen and sold. America is being sold down the river, pillaged and raped, by the few at the top, the “elite” ruling class, at the expense of the American people, in an egregious manner that harms all society and America during the long journey ahead towards our eventual rise from the ashes of the coming economic chaos.

A Challenge to Point out Communism in Dem Party Platform PT 2

As a recap for the purpose of this post:

I recently received criticism on a MeWe group for sharing a Justin Smith post entitled “Liberty First and Foremost”. The beginning of Justin’s essay said this:

The Democratic Party has grown to be the enemy within our country, and the communist Democrats working in federal positions are the same as foreign agents infiltrated into federal agencies, seeking to do whatever is needed to end this republic.

Chris Worth at this MeWe group said something to the effect he read equating the Dems to a “Communist” and decided the post was worthless and hence encouraged readers there was no need to read further.

And now to continue to show that the Dems have an affinity for Communism from their 2016 Party Platform.

Resuming with the summary of the Party Platform:

LGBT Issues

Supports comprehensive federal nondiscrimination protections “for all LGBT Americans, to guarantee equal rights in areas such as housing, employment, public accommodations, credit, jury service, education, and federal funding.”

Opposes all state efforts to “discriminate against LGBT individuals, including legislation that restricts the right to access public spaces.”

Supports combatting [sic] LGBT youth homelessness and improving school climates.

Supports ensuring support LGBT elders have access to necessary health care, and “protect LGBT people from violence—including ending the crisis of violence against transgender Americans.”

Supports promotion of “LGBT human rights” around the world and ensuing “America’s foreign policy is inclusive of LGBT people.

As a Christian Conservative that supports Biblical Morality Dems and all people of the Left vilify me as –gasp– a homophobe. The Dem support for the normalization of all things homosexual (Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender and now days the adding of Queer) is a Marxist elite design to displace the Christian Values that have been the backbone of American culture for two centuries. ONLY in the mid-1900s with the infection of Leftist thinking in the media, entertainment, academia and the Courts has the homosexual lifestyle been normalized via the power of propaganda waged in those venues.

Today it is even difficult to use general terms on Internet search engines to locate data on how Americans rejected homosexuality as normal because the search engines are dominated by Left-think. In Part One I lost patience looking for the data on American attitudes about the LGBTQ lifestyle and ended up using homosexual activist thinking making it sound as if the homosexual-by-choice (I don’t buy into the Gay gene concept) people are struggling victims. To that end here the title I found and used in Part One when the Dems suggestively place LGBTQ discrimination under the section “Discrimination and Racial Issues”: Being Gay Used to Be Illegal. And here is a quote from that post about society’s concurrence with Biblical Morality by illegalizing the homosexual lifestyle:

“Being gay” (same-sex activity and partnership) used to be illegal in the U.S. and the U.K., and being gay is still illegal in many parts of the world. The details are complex.

Prior to 20th-century reforms, punishment for homosexuality in places like the United States and the Britain included incarceration, fines, castration, and even death. Even after aspects of same-sex relationships were decriminalized, discrimination and prejudice on behalf of the state continued in many respects. ^[1]^[2]^[3]

LGBT rights throughout world history is a complex subject. Some cultures had progressive stances on LGBT issues long before Britain and the US, yet other cultures still consider “being gay” a crime punishable by death and imprisonment today. Even today, state-sponsored LGBT discrimination still exists in the West. You can tell the Leftist slant by the above website when the Christian attitude toward the LGBTQ lifestyle is described as “discrimination” or “still illegal” rather than shunned due moral agreement with the Creator of all that exists:

In Communism religion challenges the authority of the State and must be suppressed by any means necessary. As such here is an illuminating quote about the reason Communism disdains religion:

A communist government has to have the people looking at them as a god or as diety. After all, a communist government basically decides what people do in terms of career, in terms of where they live, what choices they have for food, clothing, medical care and how much money they “live on.” Allowing the people to have a “god” places the government at number two in terms of authority and prominence in a citizen’s life and might lead to a rebelion [sic].

Karl Marx, the father of communism, said, “Communism begins from the outset with atheism.” (He said this in Introduction to A Contribution to the Critique of Hegel’s Philosophy of Right).

Vladimir Lenin similarly wrote: “A Marxist must be a materialist, i. e., an enemy of religion, but a dialectical materialist, i. e., one who treats the struggle against religion not in an abstract way, not on the basis of remote, purely theoretical, never varying preaching, but in a concrete way, on the basis of the class struggle which is going on in practice and is educating the masses more and better than anything else could”(He said this in his book, Private Property and Communism). Dem support for an LGBTQ agenda smacks entirely of Communist remolding of cultural thinking.

National Service

Support strengthening AmeriCorps with the “goal that every American who wants to participate in full-time national service will have the opportunity to do so.”

AmeriCorps according to its website:

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more.

AmeriCorps is a good idea. You can hearken back to President Kennedy’s words:

My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

Service for Country is difficult to criticize. However, a CBS report (of all places) shows the current scope of AmeriCorps has problems:

WASHINGTON — A CBS News Radio investigation of years of complaints about AmeriCorps programs has found multiple allegations of sexual harassment, abusive behavior and mismanagement since 2013. The allegations are detailed in complaints to the agency’s Inspector General, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

AmeriCorps, a network of national service programs, is the largest issuer of grants for service and volunteering.

It is overseen by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), which was established as a federal agency in 1993 – and has been dogged for years by claims that it is poorly managed.

Conservative critics say AmeriCorps is a waste of money and promotes liberal causes. The Government Accountability Office found last year that CNCS has fallen short in monitoring whether the organizations it grants money to meet federal standards and requirements. In essence the AmeriCorps problem is Big Government, mismanagement and propagating Left-Wing causes in its current state. Here’s a Michelle Malkin criticism from 2011:

Can you say, “Teaching government dependence”?

The Libertarian-oriented Hoover Institute observed in 1996, three years after AmeriCorps’ creation:

… Clinton has used the rhetoric of citizenship to justify his efforts to expand the welfare state. He has contradicted his emphasis on personal responsibility by working to preserve bureaucratic federal control of social programs. The revival of citizenship requires a transfer of power from government to families, voluntary associations, and communities. The president has instead sought to reinvigorate civic life by trying to relegitimize government.

…

AmeriCorps reveals the administration’s fundamental misreading of the components of healthy citizenship. The program provides government subsidies for voluntary activity at the federal, state, and local levels. By so doing, it conflates volunteering — which nearly 90 million Americans regularly do — with a federal-government jobs program run by a centralized bureaucracy. It is, in essence, a Great Society-style program trying to pass as a plan to reinvigorate citizenship and heal communities. But its very premise — using federal resources to promote voluntarism — contradicts the principle of self-government that lies at the heart of citizenship. AmeriCorps blurs the line between the problems and needs best addressed by individuals, voluntary association and localities and those best addressed by the federal government. Instead, it seems to suggest that social problems are the responsibility of the central government, and the federal bureaucracy must direct and improve local solutions. Government dependence is one of the ways a Communist government manages the thoughts and actions of its citizens.

Read this article on Marxist/Leninist agenda to control citizens and look for similarities to the stealth actions of the Democratic Party. Here is a bit of an intro:

The Marxist/Leninist approach to rule was sow seeds of discontent then implement violent rebellion to overthrow a non-Communist regime.

The Eurocommunist approach was (or is) a quiet revolution by gaining dominance in societal institutions such as Media, Entertainment, Academia and Government Institutions (We can call this the Shadow/Deep State). You need to bone up on the information you can find. In America, Eurocommunism may not be appropriate, so here let’s call it the Gramsci/Alinsky approach. Here’s an excerpt from a 2008 article written on the cusp of the beginning of Obama’s Fundamental Transformation:

The seditious role of the community organiser was developed by an extreme left intellectual called Saul Alinsky. He was a radical Chicago activist who, by the time he died in 1972, had had a profound influence on the highest levels of the Democratic party. Due to an American divide politically, I’m not sure if one can point to a subversive path against the U.S. Constitution. My guess the is the current status of subversion is a combination of Marxist/Leninist (the Bill Ayers dream) and Gramsci/Alinsky.

Supports directing more federal resources to “lifting up communities that have been left out and left behind, such as the 10-20-30 model, which directs 10 percent of program funds to communities where at least 20 percent of the population has been living below the poverty line for 30 years or more.”

Supports protecting programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

Supports helping people “grow their skills through jobs and skills training opportunities.”

Supports expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) program for low-wage workers not raising children, including extending the credit to young workers starting at age 21.

Supports expanding the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and making more of it refundable, or indexed to inflation to stem the erosion of the credit.

Free Men Reject Big Government

The Democratic Party has grown to be the enemy within our country, and the communist Democrats working in federal positions are the same as foreign agents infiltrated into federal agencies, seeking to do whatever is needed to end this republic. However, an equally dangerous enemy is found in a government that no longer adheres to the limits the document that created government imposes upon them, and now, it very nearly does not matter who occupies the seats of power within government, because government itself has become a monster that devours the freedom it was established to protect.

Our country is too expansive to be governed effectively by a strong central government without that government becoming tyrannical.

If America ever hopes to restore itself anywhere close to the Founding Principles [Blog Editor: Web posts this Editor believes demonstrate the Founding Fathers’ concept of Founding Principles: HERE, HERE, HERE and a very important 2011 essay – HERE], the people of America must place liberty first and foremost on their list of priorities and stop asking government to pass laws that are designed to somehow help them in life. A free man does not need government for anything; they succeed or fail based upon their own merit and accept whatever hand life deals them without asking for any assistance from their government.

Sadly and unfortunate for America, far too many of our countrymen — an extremely high percentage — have the mentality that they shouldn’t be required to take care of themselves; that should be the job of the federal government.

When we tolerate laws that criminalize the defense of our lives, liberty and property, we make ourselves slaves to those who dictate when and where can defend ourselves. To pass laws which require that a portion of society be required to subsidize the existence of another is also a violation of our right to enjoy the full benefit of the fruits of our labor; i.e. or income. Thomas Jefferson expressed that belief as follows,

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.”

Freedom, or liberty, is a two sided coin; you are free to do as you please as long as you don’t restrict others from doing the same. At the same time you and you alone are responsible for the consequences of your decisions and actions. People say they want freedom, and yet, they shun the consequences of their actions, as they seek political candidates who will provide a safety net for them should they fail to achieve success or riches. Much less than freedom, they have embraced the cold chains of serfdom and bowed at the altar of the State, and when you are dependent upon someone or something you are a slave to it.

The American people must stop looking to Uncle Sam to do everything for them. Uncle Sam isn’t going to do a damned thing that reduces the power its agents already hold over you; all you can do is put of some kind of barrier that blocks, or nullifies, their ability to exercise that power, unless and until that power grows so obtrusive and repressive that it is intolerable by way of its arbitrary rule and acts of tyranny, rather than representation. At this point, freedom loving Free Born Americans worth their salt will Rise Up In Armed Rebellion.

Rather than allow matters to progress to that point, if Americans want to curb the influence of the federal government — Uncle Sam — in their respective States, they do not need to focus their attention upon candidates too focused on attempting to reduce the power wielded by Uncle Sam. Americans must choose and elect candidates who will tell Uncle Sam that he has no jurisdiction in their Sovereign State, especially when our federal government enforces UnConstitutional junk “law”, illegally and extralegally, such as the President Obama’s “Dreamer” executive order, Obamacare, homosexual marriage and abortion.

As noted in Section 177 of the 16th American Jurisprudence:

“An unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since it’s unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment, and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would be had the statute not been enacted.

Such [Blog Editor: The versions of this quote found by Editor does not have “Such” but rather the word “Since”.] an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follows that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection and justifies no acts performed under it.

A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the land, it is superseded thereby.

No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.”

Americans must awaken to the fact that our federal government no longer serves the limited purposes for which it was established. It is a government that consistently and regularly encroaches on our rights of life, liberty and property, ignoring or dismissing them altogether, just as we witnessed in recent years, with its attempted overreach on our Second Amendment and numerous violations of the Fourth Amendment and the abuse of Cliven Bundy’s family and the Hammond family and the murder of Robert Lavoy Finicum at the hands of its agents, using force when it has no authority or right to do so.

Uncle Sam derives its power by way of our consent. If we simply withdrew that consent, saying “I will no longer comply”, in a unified voice, whenever our federal government violates one of our God-given Inalienable Rights, there wouldn’t be a damned thing they could to about it.

If liberty is the primary reason for which all governments should serve to protect, the American people need to place that first and foremost on their list of priorities, so their children’s children and generations beyond will grow up in a land of true freedom and liberty. And they must stop voting for any candidate who seeks to limit liberty, or will not defend liberty to their last dying gasp.

I AM OUTRAGED BY THE SHOOTING OF LaVoy Finicum

This is an Interesting post at NoisyRoom.net. It begins by railing against Finicum who clearly was not attacking anyone but surrendering.

The post says he reached for something but there STILL is no report Finicum was shot to death with a handgun inside a vest. He clearly had his hands raised and was shot in the back. The post exonerates the FBI, but it is not any less heinous that the Oregon State Police were the shooters.

THEN the post has Wild Bill speaking the sentiments that I concur with of the Finicum murder, the Bundys, the Hammonds, continuous Federal abuse of rancher land and finishes by smacking Hillary as a real criminal (Go Wild Bill, THAT WAS AWESOME!).

Then the post has the FBI lengthy 26-minute drone video which is difficult to decipher without watching over and over.

THEN the 33 second version of FBI drone video is shown clearly with Finicum being shot in the back.

Talk about an odd conflicting post. But I think real Americans can decipher this was a WRONG action by the State and Federal government against American citizens weary of government abuse against private land owners.

You are about to watch the confrontation, including “shots fired” at Mr. LaVoy Finicum in Oregon on January 26th, 2016. Many stories, including so-called “eye witnesses” have communicated versions of the incident leading to the death of Mr. Finicum of Mohave County, Arizona who had been protesting in Burn, Oregon the past five weeks. The most recent “eye witness” account distributed nationally was reported by Victoria Sharp. Ms. Sharp’s account is false. The video below is taken from the FBI plane following the Finicum vehicle, and shows the shooting event as it occurred. A massive campaign has been launched nationally depicting Mr. Finicum as innocent and shot without provocation by the FBI. As you will see (go to full screen) Mr. Finicum exits his vehicle upon hitting a snow bank attempting to avoid a police roadblock. While there is no sound, and having been a police officer myself, I have to think commands were given to Mr. Finicum as he came to the rear of his vehicle. As you will see, Mr. Fincium reaches into the left side of his coat making a clear gesture that he may be going for a weapon. Shots were then fired by Oregon State Police, NOT FBI.

Blog Editor Update 2/8/16:

As I was checking this post as a source I was disappointed to learn that Wild Bill took down his video “FBI and Patriot Blood.” This means Wild Bill has changed his mind that LaVoy Finicum was murdered in cold blood and leans to agreeing with the Bob Owens paragraph above. Wild Bill’s most recent update that I found to date is entitled, “Finicum Shooting Update.” Primarily due to the lack of sound in the aerial video taken of Finicum being shot, I am not convinced he was reaching for a gun in his vest. Many witnesses have establish the vest reach was to Finicum’s torso point of a bullet. Then after Finicum was down, witnesses cowering in fear of the designs of the Oregon State Police and the FBI assert Finicum’s downed body continued to be shot. Was he already dead or were the police making sure he was dead? Witnesses claim Finicum exited his truck so the police would shoot him rather than the ladies with him in the truck. Until proven by documentation rather than the word of the police involved in shooting Finicum, I believe the witnesses rather than the police or the significant amount of pro-gun enthusiasts willing to throw Finicum under the bus. Yes, I AM STILL OUTRAGED!

At the behest of President Barack Obama, the Federal Communications Commission voted this past Thursday, 3-2, on party lines, to impose FCC control over access to and charges by internet service providers. This is the beginning of the end of freedom over the internet. So-called net neutrality is not neutral at all, but is a regulatory schema that imposes federal oversight and control over what was but a moment ago the last remaining example of largely unfettered freedom and free enterprise left in the world.

Longing for the power to force internet service providers to bend to the will of government masters, the Obama Administration aimed to get the proverbial camel’s nose into the tent, anticipating that its whole body would come next. Using the pretext of ensuring consumers had more rapid internet connections, the new regulations promise to do much more, essentially rendering all internet service providers common carriers subject to the same kind of innovation and competition stultifying regulations that made the old Bell system such an archaic, byzantine bureaucratic mess.

On the road to a better internet, now architects of systems and markets will have to stop at a government toll booth. There they must satisfy the subjective dictates of FCC commissioners or else they will not be allowed to proceed. One of the greatest, most powerful and far reaching technological achievements of the Twentieth and Twenty-First Centuries is now to be but another utility where rates, service plans, and technological advances will not be allowed unless first approved by the politicians who populate the Federal Communications Commission.

The FCC has just denied liberty and free enterprise its essential place in that medium which holds out more promise for the advancement of mankind than any other. The FCC has learned through broadcast, cable, and telephone regulation that structural controls beget in time near total control over a medium. By lording it over on the internet service providers in the years to come, the FCC will coerce and cajole them into implementing the political dictates of FCC Commissioners in a manner akin to FCC’s long and sordid history of control over the broadcast media.

Displeasing a regulator who has subjective power over the structure of media invites retaliation. What former FCC Chairman Newton Norman Minow referred to as “regulation by raised eyebrow” in broadcast regulation is now applicable in the internet context. The mere hint of an FCC Commissioner’s dissatisfaction with the operations of an Internet Service Provider will cause that provider to appreciate all too well that the regulator’s displeasure makes essential approvals far more difficult to obtain. Instead, most will alter their business plans to avoid regulatory payback, even if that means constricting access to some in favor of others, thereby affecting who may speak and what may be said.

In that single instance, the First Amendment’s command that government be disarmed of power over speech and press is eviscerated. The ultimate control over the structure and content of the medium has passed from private to public hands. Now the politically appointed, unelected heads of the FCC, will call the shots over the internet. In this one vote of the FCC, everyone in America, indeed in the world, has lost freedom and opportunity. February 26, 2015, is the blackest day so far in the history of the internet.

No more RINO POTUS Nominations

The Republican Establishment is beginning to slowly suggest their preferred candidates for the nomination of President for the November 2016 cycle. Honestly (and probably to the chagrin of Lefties) the only news I watch on TV is Fox News. And that network’s subliminal suggestions have been Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush. Both former Governors but both with long elements of Left Wing compromises.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the GOP nominating Romney for 2012. I did vote for him; however it was a between a rock-and-a-hard-place vote. I was any person but Obama voter. Romney has been indicating some stealth hints considering a 2016 run. God Forbid!

If the Republican Establishment succeeds in re-nominating for the 2016 election cycle, I am NOT voting for him. Neither will I vote for any Democrat. I will be voting for a Third Party candidate even if it is a wasted vote. The idiocy of the GOP Establishment of business as usual and the Dems Left Wing agenda are no choices for a fiscal and social Conservative.

Since I have experienced the idiocy of supporting Establishment candidates in 2008 and 2012, if the GOP nominates another alternative to Romney but with the same RINO credentials, I will not be voting for that person either. It is my opinion that Jeb Bush’s Conservative bona fides are suspect to be pro-RINO.

Now Jeb may not be as much as a RINO as Romney but he is probably enough of a RINO to perpetuate some of Obama’s America transformation. He would more than likely have a Dem-like immigration policy doctored up to fool voters, keep funneling money to Planned Parenthood funding abortion, abandon Christian morality in not fighting to reverse the courts mandate to allow same-sex marriage, remove everything Christian from taxpayer supported institutions, forcing Christians to do business with Biblically ungodly homosexuals under threat of a civil suit, increasing the deficit, keeping Obamacare rather than more Free Market medical reforms and on and on.

I’d have to do some more exploring into Jeb Bush to pin down some exact criticism rather than suspicions. Michelle Malkin has a good start toward a Jeb examination. Ironically I found this Malkin opinion piece in GOP USA. Perhaps that is an indication that GOP USA is not an Establishment dominated tool of the Republican Party.

Jeb Bush: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Waterboy

Allow me to unite America’s left, right and center in just three words: No, Jeb, No.

Former GOP Florida governor Jeb Bush made the obvious official this week when he announced on Facebook that he’s “actively exploring” a 2016 White House run. Of course, he’s running. That’s what inveterate politicians do.

Well, I hate to break it to Jeb Inc. There’s no popular groundswell for Bush Part III. None, zip, nada. Independents, progressives and conservatives are all weary of the entrenched bipartisan dynasties that rule Washington and ruin America. Only in the hallowed bubble of D.C. and New York City elites does a Jeb Bush presidential bid make any sense.

Jeb’s indulgent (and ultimately doomed) enterprise has three privileged constituencies: Big Business, Big Government and Big Media. This iron triumvirate explains how the failed campaigns of so-called “pragmatic,” “thoughtful” and “moooooderate” liberal Republican candidates such as John McCain, Jon Huntsman and Bob Dole ever got off the ground. The “Reasonable Republican,” anointed and enabled by the statist Big Three, serves as a useful tool for bashing conservatives and marginalizing conservatism.

For Republicans who argue that Jeb is the most “electable” choice, I ask: What planet are you on? After two disastrous terms of Barack Obama’s Hope and Change Theater, the last thing the Republican Party needs is an establishment poster child for Washington business as usual. I mean, really? A third Bush who’s been working for his dad, his dad’s friends or the government since 1980?

A Beltway-ensconced scion so chummy with the Clinton family that he awarded close family friend — and potential 2016 nemesis — Hillary a “Liberty Medal” last year as chairman of the National Constitution Center?

That’s the GOP donor bigwigs’ “fresh idea” for “American Renewal?”

To blunt criticism from the grassroots base on the right, Jeb’s cheerleaders at the Wall Street Journal cite his “conservative” gubernatorial record of cutting taxes and privatizing jobs. So we’re supposed to swoon when a GOP governor acts like he’s supposed to act on standard, bread-and-butter GOP issues? Whoop-de-doo.

One thing Jeb’s promoters won’t be emphasizing: Over the course of his eight years in the Florida governor’s mansion, government spending skyrocketed. The libertarian Cato Institute notes that Florida general fund spending “increased from $18.0 billion to $28.2 billion during those eight years, or 57 percent” and that “(t)otal state spending increased from $45.6 billion to $66.1 billion, or 45 percent.”

Like big-spending father, like big-spending big brother, like big-spending second son and lil’ brother.

I have another interpretation of Bush’s “conservative” Florida years: It’s called biding his time. Yes, Jeb put in his obligatorily GOP service on taxes and the Second Amendment. Not because he was wedded to deep-rooted principles, mind you. But because the “conservative” facade will come in handy during the primaries when he has to defend radical, divisive positions on his two defining national policy issues: Education and immigration.

Jeb Bush’s agenda is neither left nor right. His agenda is the agenda of the D.C. headquarters of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Remember: The chamber is a politically entrenched synod of bipartisan special interests. As I’ve said before, these fat cats do not represent the best interests of American entrepreneurs, American workers, American parents and students or Americans of any race, class or age who believe in low taxes and limited government.

The chamber’s business is the big business of the Beltway, not the business of mainstream America. And so is Jeb Bush’s.

The Chamber supports mass amnesty for cheap, illegal alien workers. Jeb Bush supports mass legalization of cheap, illegal alien workers and accuses those of us who oppose it on constitutional, sovereignty, security and fairness grounds of lacking “compassion.”

The Chamber supports the top-down, privacy-undermining, local autonomy-sabotaging Common Core racket. Jeb Bush spearheaded and profited from Common Core — and accuses those of us who oppose it of opposing academic excellence for our own children. Jeb’s problem isn’t just Common Core. It’s that he has no core. Instead of retreating from the costly federalized scheme that has alienated teachers, administrators and parents of all backgrounds, Bush has doubled down with his Fed Ed control freak allies and corporate donors.

The reign of Obama ushered in massive cronyism, corporate favoritism and Boomtown boondoggles galore. We’ve lived too long already under the boot of arrogant D.C. bureaucrats who’ve exploited their power to serve their friends.

No more business as usual: Stop Jeb Bush.

While America’s political “elite” have squandered most of the opportunities over the past twenty years left for them by President Ronald Reagan and the annihilation of the Evil Empire, Barrack Hussein Obama has managed three times the spending of all the combined presidents, and he has led us to a $16 trillion national debt, annual deficits well over a trillion dollars and no budget during his regime’s rule; Obama states, “that fidelity to our founding principles requires new responses to new challenges; that preserving our individual freedoms requires collective action,” which indicates that Obama will pursue more policies destructive to Our American Heritage. His vision for the next four years will push America farther from common sense Constitutional governance and the basics, family, faith/Judeo-Christian (tolerant of all others) and flag/national sovereignty. His aides have suggested Obama will have to redirect American policy from the Oval Office, which is not shocking given his disdain for the U.S. Constitution, his affinity towards authoritarianism and his propensity for uttering unConstitutional executive orders!

John Jay stated in 1785, “I consider knowledge to be the soul of the republic, and as the weak and wicked are generally in alliance, as much care should be taken to diminish the number of the former as of the latter. Education is the way to do this.”

On January 25, 2013, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled against another one of Obama’s numerous unConstitutional orders in relation to the Senate confirmation process and recess appointments. Three Obama appointments were nullified by this ruling, and 300 Labor Board decisions are now in question, and yet, in typical illegal, elitist, liberal fashion, Mark Pearce, the NLRB’s chairman, defiantly refused to obey this court’s decision; until Obama, never… NEVER in U.S. history has ANY U.S. President attempted to declare the U.S. Senate in recess, while it was still technically in session, solely on his own presumed authority!

During his 2013 inaugural address, as Obama stated, “We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations,” he had already betrayed America’s children by adopting and implementing a UN Agenda 21 education curriculum called “Common Core/CSCOPE” and forcing all but five states to accept it through Stimulus bribes and threats to withhold federal funds and Title 190 programs for the poor and needy. CSCOPE is basically collectivist/communist indoctrination, which makes drastic cuts to classical literature and higher math programs, as it promotes Islam through teaching conversion methods and presenting verses from the Koran that denigrate other faiths: in Lesson 2, Unit 3, students are told Christianity is a “cult.” Also, CSCOPE has ties to Obama mentor and self-acknowledged terror group member Bill Ayers.

The science on “global warming” has long been dispelled as an outright lie driven by transnationalists’ and communists’ desire to “redistribute the wealth” worldwide to poor Third World nations through legislation such as “Cap and Trade.” This type of legislation has already been rejected by our U.S. Congress, however, Obama ignored Congress in 2009 and enacted nearly all of the UN’s Agenda 21 and “climate change and sustainable development initiatives” through, as of now, an unchallenged and unConstitutional Executive Order 13575, as well as EPA regulations. The changes increase energy costs, kill jobs, leave the U.S. less competitive globally and reduce us all to poverty!

Obama states, “We are true to our creed when a little girl born into the bleakest poverty knows that she has the same chance to succeed as anybody else, because she is an American, she is free and she is equal, not just in the eyes of God but also in our own.” As noted by many past and reformed socialists such as David Horowitz, those nations which have put Liberty ahead of Equality have ended up doing better by Equality than those with the reverse priority, and even so, I dare say that the little girl described by Obama has had more than ample chances thanks to President Lyndon Johnson’s Economic Opportunity Act of 1964.

A highly respected economist, Thomas Sowell explains that penury in the U.S. is neither irremediable or hereditary, and only 3% get stuck in the bottom fifth of income distribution for more than eight years. The top or bottom earners are not closed private clubs that contain the same households every year. Many of today’s poor may be tomorrow’s wealthy, and the reverse is also true. But it will not hold true once Obama policies are fully implemented between now and 2017; for now, no such economic mobility can be found anywhere else in the world.

Obama hinted at a Republican agenda which would block important programs that would put millions of jobless Americans back to work as he stated, “we cannot mistake absolutism for principle”… this coming from the most corrupt and unprincipled U.S. President in history, who spent only about 6% of the Stimulus money on actual jobs programs, with the rest acting as a pay-off to his political cronies; it is this administration and Obama’s Leftist-Democrats who are killing jobs creation, because they advocate for immigration and economic policies designed to strengthen their hold on power through the continued destruction of the U.S. economy in order to place more Americans on the dole!

The American free-market and democratic republic is far from perfect, however, our complex of traditions and institutions, built upon principles that animated the American Revolution, have made it possible for more Freedom and Prosperity to be enjoyed by more citizens than in any other society in human history. The relatively little that was wrong with our system, before circa Obama, needed only to be reformed. A fundamental transformation was not called for by the people and neither has there been a large hue and cry from the people demanding communism, fascism and authoritarianism. But Obama is driven by ideology and ideology alone… by contempt and contempt alone for Our American Heritage!

I believe in the rule of law, but how far are we as a nation… those of us who still believe in the U.S. Constitution… supposed to go with an intransigent and divisive U.S. President who is not only attempting to transform our way of life but is destroying over 300 years of cultural and historical American Heritage? At what point will each of us be willing to put our lives at risk, say “ENOUGH” and pick up our rifles to march against an out of control government in order to preserve real Liberty, Freedom and Equality for future generations, just as the Founders did?

America will soon be embroiled in a massive political battle, fraught with ensuing upheaval and societal unrest, if this authoritarian Statist trend is not abated. Obama and the Leftist-Democrats have chosen to destroy the system as it now exists, and, as they seek to give amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, abrogate our right to make end-of-life decisions, and spend away our children’s and several generations’ future, they command us as subjects of the State rather than govern us as citizens of a democratic Free Republic; and in the process, they are paving the way for those like them, each new successive Democratic president, to rule by decree and according to their own personal whims, rather than have to adhere to the principles and guidelines contained within the U.S. Constitution. They are paving the way for tyranny, because they want to, and they believe in doing so… we must drag America away from the abyss before Obama drags Her over the edge!

I am sure I’ll be posting more on the Supreme Court’s astounding decision to uphold the individual mandates of Obamacare later. Until then the best Conservative viewpoint I have found in the early hours of the decision is on The Blaze.

Supreme Court: ‘Obamacare’ Constitutional

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that President Obama’s landmark healthcare bill, including the controversial “individual mandate,” is constitutional by a 5-4 majority.

“The Court holds that the mandate violates the Commerce Clause, but that doesn’t matter [because] there are five votes for the mandate to be constitutional under the taxing power,” SCOTUS Blog reports. “The bottom line: the entire ACA [Affordable Care Act] is upheld, with the exception that the federal government‘s power to terminate states’ Medicaid funds is narrowly read.”

The court’s decision comes as a major defeat to those who have fought against the healthcare overhaul since before President Obama signed it into law in 2010. U.S. citizens are still legally required to purchase insurance via the federal government and the bill’s expansion of Medicaid, although now limited, still stands. This means roughly 30 million uninsured low-income Americans are still eligible for coverage through the bill’s expansion of the state-run entitlement program.

However, if it’s any consolation, the court also ruled that the Commerce Clause does not give the government the authority to compel Americans to purchase a product. So at least there‘s there’s that, right?

“I am disappointed with today’s Supreme Court decision because the Court has cleared the way for what looks like a very broad use of the tax power. But we can still be very thankful that the court has defended the contours of the Commerce Clause,” said Carrie Severino, chief counsel, Judicial Crisis Network.

Chief Justice Roberts was joined by Justices Elena Kagan, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, and Sonia Sotomayor in upholding the mandate.

“Members of this Court are vested with the authority to interpret the law; we possess neither the expertise nor the prerogative to make policy judgments,” Roberts writes in his opinion (page six).

“Those decisions are entrusted to our Nation’s elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices [emphasis added],” he adds.

Needless to say, Chief Justice Roberts’ opinion has shocked many people.

“Wow. So Kennedy voted with conservatives, Roberts with liberals. Umpire, indeed,” the Washington Post’s Ezra Klein tweeted.

In his dissent, Justice Kennedy said “In our view, the entire Act before us is invalid in its entirety.”

After hearing oral arguments on the constitutionality of the bill in March, the Supreme Court Justices focused on these four points:

1) Whether the “individual” mandate is constitutional

2) Whether SCOTUS has the authority to rule on a tax law even though it hasn’t come into effect

3) If the individual mandate is overturned, will it be cut from the rest of the law as a separate entity or will other provisions fall with it?

4) Whether the law’s Medicaid expansion is constitutional

Of the four points discussed, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that, as a tax, the individual mandate is constitutional. Under the Commerce Clause, it doesn’t work, but as a tax, it’s legitimate.

Several analysts predicted that if the court ruled against the mandate, it would have negative long-term consequences on the president’s legacy and would weigh heavily on his reelection bid.

It doesn’t seem that way now.

Chief Justice Roberts, whose vote saved “Obamacare,” announced the court’s decision at 10:07 EST.
