Justin Smith writes about the negative effects the Senate Immigration Reform Bill will have on America.

Here are some subjects within the article that I was not clear on thus I am going to assume many readers may have a lack of clarity as well. I add them for the reader’s benefit; however if you are confident about the terminology simply skip right to Justin’s article below this intro.

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) said in a statement about the CIS analysis that this is yet another sign the Schumer-Rubio amnesty legislation is not good policy. “This report from CIS is a bombshell,” Sessions said.

To my surprise, and no doubt the surprise of many, the Gang of Eight Immigration doubles the annual number of guest workers from today’s levels – a much larger increase than any of us had imagined. It adds four times more guest workers than the rejected proposal from 2007. Yet today’s employment situation is far worse than when Congress considered the 2007 proposal.

This large increase in guest workers guarantees that Americans’ wages will remain stagnant and that the unemployed will remain unemployed. This legislation surges the number of low-wage workers at the expense of the poor and middle class.

Sessions’ Senate colleague, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), expressed concerns with the guest worker program during a Senate floor speech on Wednesday. He argued that the bill’s visa programs for foreign workers are a ploy by big corporations to depress wages of American workers. Sanders particular attention to h-1b visas, and how middle-class Americans cannot find white collar jobs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. (ANALYSIS: IMMIGRATION BILL WILL BRING 600K MORE GUEST WORKERS PER YEAR; By MATTHEW BOYLE; Breitbart; 6/5/13)

Corker-Hoeven Amendment

A new 1,000-plus-page bill has just been filed incorporating the changes from the Corker–Hoeven amendment. Initial reports indicate that the amendment calls for:

·         A Comprehensive Southern Border Security Strategy to be deployed and operational, including the minimum technology and equipment listed in S. 744;

·         An additional 20,000 Border Patrol agents to be deployed, maintained, and stationed along the southern border;

·         The Southern Border Fencing Strategy to be implemented and at least 700 miles of fencing to be completed;

·         An entry/exit system to track visa overstays to be fully implemented at all airports and seaports; and

·         E-Verify to be fully implemented by all employers.

This may all sound great on paper, but dig a little deeper and you’ll see that, just like in the language of the bill, none of the border security measures in the Corker–Hoeven amendment have to be in place until illegal immigrants with registered provisional immigrant status are to receive green cards 10 years down the road. (Corker–Hoeven Immigration Amendment: Far from a Game Changer; By Jessica Zuckerman and David Inserra; The Foundry [a Heritage.org blog]; 6/21/13 4:14 pm)

Reconquista (Movement)

… We noted the rise of radical Latino identity groups composed of both naturalized immigrants and illegal aliens. These groups are being organized by World Communist Party apparatchiks, who are providing the ethnic incitement behind protests in Los Angeles and other cities from coast to coast.

What are illegal alliens (sic) demanding in protests on U.S. soil?

These were protests not just on behalf of “amnistia” — demanding amnesty and all rights shared by U.S. citizens; for many, they were a means of promoting the reunification of the southwestern United States with Mexico.

The “reconquista” movement is marked by the flying of the Mexican flag over the American flag and has all the elements of a violent nationalist movement with the terrorist implications. … (Reconquista: The Movement; The Patriot Post)

There is a plan, called The Plan Of Aztlan, that’s been in effect for about four decades. The goal, being pursued vigorously by radical, racist Chicano (Mexican-American) groups and the Mexican government, is to reconquer (Reconquista) land lost to America in the Mexican-American War that ended in 1848 with the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo.

Mexicans and many Mexican-Americans have never accepted the loss of their land, inhabited long before the gringos (white Europeans) arrived. Chicano groups like MEchA (Chicano Student Movement Of Aztlan) want to reconquer seven states in the Southwestern United States called Aztlan, the mythical home of the Aztecs. They include: California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, plus parts of Colorado, Nevada and Utah.

The road to success is based on infiltration (illegal aliens from Mexico) and demographic dominance (like-minded Chicanos being elected to political office by a region overwhelmingly of Mexican origin). What would exist is a de facto alien nation, with loyalty to their Mexican homeland. Efforts would be made to establish a separate government or to rejoin Mexico. Note that Mexico has granted dual citizenship to Mexican immigrants with U.S. citizenship as well as to their children. Kind of speeds the process along. No repatriation needed. (Reconquista: the Invasion of America; TheLastGringo.com; 4/20/06)

La Raza

It is past time for all Americans to know what is at the root of this outrageous behavior, and the extent to which the nation is at risk because of “La Raza” — The Race.

There are many immigrant groups joined in the overall “La Raza” movement. The most prominent and mainstream organization is the National Council de La Raza — the Council of “The Race”.

To most of the mainstream media, most members of Congress, and even many of their own members, the National Council of La Raza is no more than a Hispanic Rotary Club.

Radical ‘Reconquista’ Agenda

Behind the respectable front of the National Council of La Raza lies the real agenda of the La Raza movement, the agenda that led to those thousands of illegal immigrants in the streets of American cities, waving Mexican flags, brazenly defying our laws, and demanding concessions.

Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.

One of America’s greatest strengths has always been taking in immigrants from cultures around the world, and assimilating them into our country as Americans. By being citizens of the U.S. we are Americans first, and only, in our national loyalties.

This is totally opposed by MEChA for the hordes of illegal immigrants pouring across our borders, to whom they say:

“Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as people. It rejects the notion that we…should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot…Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas … It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of the Manifest Destiny.” (Statement on University of Oregon MEChA Website, Jan. 3, 2006)

MEChA isn’t at all shy about their goals, or their views of other races. Their founding principles are contained in these words in “El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan” (The Spiritual Plan for Aztlan):

“In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny. … Aztlan belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans. … We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan. For La Raza todo [all or everything]. Fuera [Against or Out of] de La Raza nada [nothing].”

Much of the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act was designed in the 11th hour and presented America with a wasteful and poorly reasoned policy, of which any U.S. Senator should be ashamed to be known as one of the “yes” votes. This recent action in conjunction with the Corker-Hoeven Amendment perfectly illustrates the need to repeal the 17th Amendment and return to the Founder’s Original Intent under Article I: Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, as the majority of Americans in opposition to giving provisional legal status to 30 million plus illegal aliens saw their Senators side with leftist academics, the likes of Reconquista and LARAZA advocates, uneducated do-gooders who have thrown common sense out the window and antinational organizations.

Today in America, some would have us believe that “nationalism”, love of one’s nation and a desire to protect one’s American heritage and a belief in our nation’s right to sovereignty, is somehow comparable to a vulgar swear word. Immigration can be beneficial to the immigrant and the nation, under the right circumstances; however, the U.S. must act through its right and responsibility to ensure only responsible levels of immigration that promote assimilation, self-sufficiency and rising wages. And to date, Congress and the Executive have not remotely accomplished this.

I never thought I would offer the European Union as an example of anything that the U.S. should follow, but even in Europe, the EU nations such as Switzerland [*SlantRight Editor: Switzerland is not an EU member but has set up economic treaties that allows an EU-Swiss interface across borders], Britain and Spain are now realizing the folly of unrestricted movement across borders, as they now fight the guidelines of the Schengen Agreement, which eliminated internal boundaries in 1995. The poorest of immigrants from Bulgaria and Romania have tested the boundaries of most EU nations’ economies in the midst of exploding unemployment, and now many are re-imposing border controls and making it easier to deport foreigners.

Some have suggested that a shortfall for H1B visas for workers exists in many professional fields. If this is indeed the case, it can be addressed independently in the House through a series of smaller bills that focus on the various components of our immigration system, much as suggested by Speaker John Boehner on July 11, 2013. And, as they attempt to play on America’s emotions, the liberals dredge up images of desperate immigrant families who want nothing more than a chance to work and feed themselves without fear of deportation; the H2B visa currently allows temporary workers to stay virtually uninterrupted for three consecutive years, and the Diversity Visa Lottery gives green cards to thousands of foreign nationals annually.

Ex-President George W. Bush has entered the debate again, as he recently called for Americans to “keep a benevolent spirit in mind and…understand the contributions that immigrants make to our country.” This seems to align with David Brooks’ (NY Times) agreement with the American Action Forum’s finding that the Senate bill will increase per capita income by $1700 after ten years.

If these illegal aliens are such entrepreneurs and such a potential economic boon to our economy, why doesn’t that show in the economies of the nations of their origin? Why haven’t they stayed and fought to improve conditions in their native land? Why hasn’t America already experienced great economic improvements, since millions of illegal aliens have been here for decades? Does anyone really believe that the majority of this current massive group of illegals will fight any harder for the salvation of America, politically and economically or otherwise, than they did for their own country?

While I generally believe all people are assets with something to offer any workforce, I must agree with Ms Ann Coulter’s assessment in April 2013, when she stated that legalizing the current illegal alien population would only be an economic boon to people who “benefit from slave labor.” In 2010, Raul Hinojosa-Ojeda at the Center for American Progress released an analysis concluding that unskilled workers in the U.S. would make $400 more annually, if the illegal immigration population were reduced by one-third; another analysis by the Federal Reserve revealed that as illegal immigrant labor increased from 4% to 7% in Georgia, between 2000 and 2007, wages dropped 2.5% overall and 11% in construction jobs during this period.

Typically, low-skilled immigrants do entry-level work, and they do not directly compete with the native born U.S. citizen. But, the current economic recession has changed the jobs market, as 100 million Americans now receive food subsidies and close to 20 million are unemployed, with millions more under-employed. The labor participation rate has dropped from 63% in 2007 to 54% currently, and competition for jobs has increased from 1.5 job seeker per job to 5.0, without accounting for under-employed or discouraged workers. Under these conditions, it is unethical for any Congressman or Senator to grant full job market access and permanent legal status to 30 million largely unskilled illegal aliens at the expense of the American taxpayer and the American worker!

Times have changed, and yet, in many respects, they have stayed the same, as seen in this 1995 quote from the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform, still applicable today: “It is not in the national interest to admit unskilled workers, because the U.S. economy is showing difficulty in absorbing disadvantaged workers.” And, eighteen years later, U.S. politicians continue to ignore this warning, as they bow to every corporation and special interest rather than listen to their constituents and taking a realistic look at the illegal alien effect on poverty and the American worker.

Even should I or millions of Americans be compassionate or stupid enough to accept the dire economic consequences for decades that will follow any legitimacy or amnesty granted these illegal aliens, we should not accept Chuck Schumer’s and Harry Reid’s massive pork-spending measures that they placed in the Senate bill, and we should not cower in the face of blackmail and threats, such as the civil unrest and violence Senator Robert Menendez promised would be delivered, if the bill was not passed; many Americans would be more inclined to respond to a request for immigration reform based on humanitarian reasoning, than demands from foreigners holding signs that read in Spanish, “Cuidadania para los 11 millones” and United We Dream activist Lorella Praeli’s statement, “We have come today to claim our citizenship”: As far as I’m concerned, they can claim their damn ticket home to Mexico, Guatemala or wherever!

George W recently echoed the thoughts of Amnesty/Reward proponents, when he stated on July 10, 2013, “The laws governing the immigration system aren’t working. The system is broken.” In 1986 Congress, for the first time, enacted legislation that made it illegal for businesses to hire illegal aliens, and they combined it with border control and de facto amnesty for the illegal alien population, that had been in the U.S. for five years, as Congress hoped to initiate effective immigration control. The system is not “broken”. Congress and the Executive have simply refused to enforce the law, and they have failed the nation and the American people. We have been here before; we are here once again.

Obama does not represent the American people or the Office of the President, as he refuses to uphold his oath to the U.S. Constitution and to enforce any law he does not like. In a July 2011 speech to LARAZA, Obama stated that he would like to “bypass Congress and change the (immigration) laws. So, the House Republican leaders have good reason not to trust any promises emanating from this administration.

As White House directed pressure mounts in the House, the next few months will prove critical in whether or not Amnesty/Reward is stopped. Speaker Boehner has already said that the Republican majority did not intend to even consider the Senate bill. The “comprehensive immigration” issue should eventually die from a lack of new momentum, as long as Republicans approach any immigration legislation in segments and facets of the issue. And actually, doing nothing is better than completely changing immigration law and policy by ingraining “amnesty” into our legal foundation and rewarding thirty (11?) million illegal aliens, who broke U.S. law; allowing any House bill to go to conference with the Senate bill will only result in amnesty, and it will send the message, “If you can get here and stay here, the U.S. will eventually give you provisional legal status.”  Not one single American should be able to acquiesce to the legalization of illegal aliens and placing the illegals’ interests ahead of all legal applicants and the best interest of these United States, in good conscience: Christian compassion should not aid the Leftist “open borders” agenda, and it should not dictate that we all commit national economic suicide!

Confirm thy soul in self-control, thy liberty in law.” – ‘America the Beautiful’

How Far?

While America’s political “elite” have squandered most of the opportunities over the past twenty years left for them by President Ronald Reagan and the annihilation of the Evil Empire, Barrack Hussein Obama has managed three times the spending of all the combined presidents, and he has led us to a $16 trillion national debt, annual deficits well over a trillion dollars and no budget during his regime’s rule; Obama states, “that fidelity to our founding principles requires new responses to new challenges; that preserving our individual freedoms requires collective action,” which indicates that Obama will pursue more policies destructive to Our American Heritage. His vision for the next four years will push America farther from common sense Constitutional governance and the basics, family, faith/Judeo-Christian (tolerant of all others) and flag/national sovereignty. His aides have suggested Obama will have to redirect American policy from the Oval Office, which is not shocking given his disdain for the U.S. Constitution, his affinity towards authoritarianism and his propensity for uttering unConstitutional executive orders!

John Jay stated in 1785, “I consider knowledge to be the soul of the republic, and as the weak and wicked are generally in alliance, as much care should be taken to diminish the number of the former as of the latter. Education is the way to do this.”

On January 25, 2013, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled against another one of Obama’s numerous unConstitutional orders in relation to the Senate confirmation process and recess appointments. Three Obama appointments were nullified by this ruling, and 300 Labor Board decisions are now in question, and yet, in typical illegal, elitist, liberal fashion, Mark Pearce, the NLRB’s chairman, defiantly refused to obey this court’s decision; until Obama, never… NEVER in U.S. history has ANY U.S. President attempted to declare the U.S. Senate in recess, while it was still technically in session, solely on his own presumed authority!

During his 2013 inaugural address, as Obama stated, “We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations,” he had already betrayed America’s children by adopting and implementing a UN Agenda 21 education curriculum called “Common Core/CSCOPE” and forcing all but five states to accept it through Stimulus bribes and threats to withhold federal funds and Title 190 programs for the poor and needy. CSCOPE is basically collectivist/communist indoctrination, which makes drastic cuts to classical literature and higher math programs, as it promotes Islam through teaching conversion methods and presenting verses from the Koran that denigrate other faiths: in Lesson 2, Unit 3, students are told Christianity is a “cult.” Also, CSCOPE has ties to Obama mentor and self-acknowledged terror group member Bill Ayers.

The science on “global warming” has long been dispelled as an outright lie driven by transnationalists’ and communists’ desire to “redistribute the wealth” worldwide to poor Third World nations through legislation such as “Cap and Trade.” This type of legislation has already been rejected by our U.S. Congress, however, Obama ignored Congress in 2009 and enacted nearly all of the UN’s Agenda 21 and “climate change and sustainable development initiatives” through, as of now, an unchallenged and unConstitutional Executive Order 13575, as well as EPA regulations. The changes increase energy costs, kill jobs, leave the U.S. less competitive globally and reduce us all to poverty!

Obama states, “We are true to our creed when a little girl born into the bleakest poverty knows that she has the same chance to succeed as anybody else, because she is an American, she is free and she is equal, not just in the eyes of God but also in our own.” As noted by many past and reformed socialists such as David Horowitz, those nations which have put Liberty ahead of Equality have ended up doing better by Equality than those with the reverse priority, and even so, I dare say that the little girl described by Obama has had more than ample chances thanks to President Lyndon Johnson’s Economic Opportunity Act of 1964.

A highly respected economist, Thomas Sowell explains that penury in the U.S. is neither irremediable or hereditary, and only 3% get stuck in the bottom fifth of income distribution for more than eight years. The top or bottom earners are not closed private clubs that contain the same households every year. Many of today’s poor may be tomorrow’s wealthy, and the reverse is also true. But it will not hold true once Obama policies are fully implemented between now and 2017; for now, no such economic mobility can be found anywhere else in the world.

Obama hinted at a Republican agenda which would block important programs that would put millions of jobless Americans back to work as he stated, “we cannot mistake absolutism for principle”… this coming from the most corrupt and unprincipled U.S. President in history, who spent only about 6% of the Stimulus money on actual jobs programs, with the rest acting as a pay-off to his political cronies; it is this administration and Obama’s Leftist-Democrats who are killing jobs creation, because they advocate for immigration and economic policies designed to strengthen their hold on power through the continued destruction of the U.S. economy in order to place more Americans on the dole!

The American free-market and democratic republic is far from perfect, however, our complex of traditions and institutions, built upon principles that animated the American Revolution, have made it possible for more Freedom and Prosperity to be enjoyed by more citizens than in any other society in human history. The relatively little that was wrong with our system, before circa Obama, needed only to be reformed. A fundamental transformation was not called for by the people and neither has there been a large hue and cry from the people demanding communism, fascism and authoritarianism. But Obama is driven by ideology and ideology alone… by contempt and contempt alone for Our American Heritage!

I believe in the rule of law, but how far are we as a nation… those of us who still believe in the U.S. Constitution… supposed to go with an intransigent and divisive U.S. President who is not only attempting to transform our way of life but is destroying over 300 years of cultural and historical American Heritage? At what point will each of us be willing to put our lives at risk, say “ENOUGH” and pick up our rifles to march against an out of control government in order to preserve real Liberty, Freedom and Equality for future generations, just as the Founders did?

America will soon be embroiled in a massive political battle, fraught with ensuing upheaval and societal unrest, if this authoritarian Statist trend is not abated. Obama and the Leftist-Democrats have chosen to destroy the system as it now exists, and, as they seek to give amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, abrogate our right to make end-of-life decisions, and spend away our children’s and several generations’ future, they command us as subjects of the State rather than govern us as citizens of a democratic Free Republic; and in the process, they are paving the way for those like them, each new successive Democratic president, to rule by decree and according to their own personal whims, rather than have to adhere to the principles and guidelines contained within the U.S. Constitution. They are paving the way for tyranny, because they want to, and they believe in doing so… we must drag America away from the abyss before Obama drags Her over the edge!

We are a nation that has a government… not the other way around. And this makes us special among nations of the earth. Our government has no power except that granted it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government, which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed.” -President Ronald Reagan from the 1980 Inaugural Address.

We need an American energy plan — ‘strait’ away

Hormuz-Ayatollah-Uncle Sam

I am currently on Newt’s band wagon to the GOP nomination. So it should not come as a surprise when I cross post his thoughts. In Newt’s 1/18/12 e-newsletter he says America must be prepared to stop a Nuclear armed Iran, be prepared to confront Iran over the threat to close the Strait of Hormuz and to develop oil resources which are huge in America but are untapped due to über-Leftists agenda to promote ecology over economy.

Newt’s foreign policy agenda and the promotion of developing oil resources on American soil are thoughts congruent with America Exceptionalism. I say Amen.

Is the Eurozone Crisis the First Domino to a NWO?

NWO - globe head sm

John R. Houk

© November 21, 2011

Tony Newbill sent an email that contained an article written by Paul Joseph Watson entitled “It’s The End Of The Eurozone As We Know It”. Displaying my ignorance of European politics and economics I equated “Eurozone” with European Union (EU). After reading the Watson article I had a feeling there was a difference between the Eurozone and the EU.

When discussing the Euro ( or EUR for short), the scope of Europe referred to is that covered by the European Union (EU), this is a more restricted area, for example it excludes Russia.

This geographical region using the Euro is known as the Eurozone (sometimes hyphenated as in Euro-zone) or Euro area.

There are 16 countries that are regarded as officially part of the Euro and others that have adopted the Euro but do not have a full representation within the European Central Bank.

It is important to get the differences between Europe, the European Union (EU), the Euro, and Eurozone.

·       Some countries in Europe chose to use the Euro but are not official members of the Eurozone: Kosovo, Monaco, Andorra, San Marino, Vatican City, and Montenegro.

·       Some countries that are part of the EU (European Union) system but do not use the Euro: Denmark, Sweden, the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Romania.

·       Countries that have pegged their currencies to the Euro with a view to joining the Euro: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Denmark.

·       The European Union (EU) is a project of common economic and political union. This covers a more restricted region than the geographical area of Europe. That is, EU excludes countries to the eastern and southern regions of wider Europe: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, and Macedonia. (Europe for Beginners – European Union (EU), Eurozone, Euroarea, and the Euro ())

In essence the EU is the loose confederation of European nations both politically and economically. I say loose confederation because each member nation still has their national sovereignty, national laws and national taxes.

The Eurozone are those nations that have committed to make the Euro currency its legal tender. Not all EU nations thus are a part of the Eurozone (e.g. the UK), yet some non-EU nations are in the Eurozone (e.g. micro-States like Andorra, Kosovo, Montenegro, Monaco, San Marino, and the Vatican City).

A collapse of the EU would entail the disintegration of that political confederation.

A collapse of the Eurozone would entail a crisis surrounding the Euro currency.

Most people that are watching this European crisis unfold believe the collapse of the Eurozone would send Europe into a catastrophic depression making economic standards of living comparable to Latin American nations. This would freak out Europeans of the EU that have become quite accustomed to a government managed socialized life. Latin American standards of living would terminate entitlements in Europe in such a way that would make the USA look like a socialist nation to Europeans.

What would happen in Europe?

Undoubtedly social chaos would ensue. Does anyone know what happens in Europe when social chaos overtakes the capability of governments to manage their internal affairs? Can anyone say that a national savior was sought whose name was Adolf Hitler? Hitler came to power in Germany after the depression made currency worthless and rebuilt the German economy. Unfortunately for Jews and others considered inferior by Nazis, Hitler rebuilt the German military also.

Is there a Hitler waiting in the wings looking for a Eurozone collapse to be the man everyone looks to lead Europeans out of chaos? At this time I would have say no.

However, there are indications the governments of France and Germany are working some back-door politicking that might include a couple of possibilities:

1.   There is talk of making the Eurozone more elite by eliminating slacker economic nations like Greece and Italy.

2.   There is also talk of allowing the Euro to collapse enabling stronger economic members of the Eurozone (i.e. France and Germany) to dictate terms that anemic economies give up significant portions of their national sovereignty making a stronger central government within the EU that looks more like a United States of Europe with a federal style government.

I am a novice to the nuances of modern back-door politicking in Europe so I am certain there are different layers of elitist ruling possibilities that relate to a coalescing One-Europe Order.

If France and Germany intend on saving the Euro (hence the Eurozone) by limiting nations to the European Central Bank (ECB) then that would make France and Germany the de facto powers of the EU, right? If the ECB becomes elitist in membership yet EU nations continue to use the Euro as their legal tender, then that will have significant repercussions to non-ECB members of the EU. The ability to manage monetary concerns for an EU member nation would be in the hands of the non-State ECB. The ECB might actually have the ability to force economic policy for a member EU State that is not part of the Eurozone. This might be a step to uniting Europe under one government via monetary policy rather than the age old act of war.

Then there is the outright goal of making a United States of Europe with a central government. There are some that believe allowing a Euro crisis to continue to its worst possible outcome will allow the guidance of France and Germany to institute a one government United States of Europe.

The UK is a member of the EU but has gone to great lengths to maintain its national sovereignty. For example the UK does not use the Euro because it still has its own national bank (Bank of England) with the Pound Sterling as the British currency. I am not quite certain how British national interests would deal with the French and Germans dominating a U.S. of E.

History has shown that the UK has not liked the idea of continental Europe calling the shots of British policy. I predict if Continental Europe draws toward a central government that the UK will not participate in a United States of Europe. So then Geopolitics comes into question. If the scenario is an independent UK, a central government of the USE and various Eastern Europe nations not a part of the USE but are a part of NATO then a different relational balance of power must ensue.

For one thing the existence of an American led NATO would not be in the national interests of a new USE. The NATO as we know it would have to be disbanded or realigned. For there to be a viable NATO it might look like the USA, the UK, the USE and various new NATO members of Eastern Europe (of the old Soviet bloc). Frankly because a more powerful centralized USE, I doubt that the one Europe order would enjoy playing the back-up role in NATO.

I see two possible shifts in geopolitical alignments that might even further change if the first tier is successful.

·       The USE would withdraw as an active member of NATO and begin to take on its own defensive strategy that would at least be friendly to the USA in the beginning.

·       The USA, the UK and Eastern Europe nations would continue in NATO or develop a new charter redefining an alliance strategy for belligerent invaders from the East like Russia or nuclear armed nations perhaps like Iran or even Pakistan.

Then the U.S. foreign policy ticket might be completely overhauled.

Perhaps the USA would begin to view the USE as a viable buffer. This would mean the USE would be the buffer between a reemerging Russia and American national interests in European markets. America would begin to solidify Latin America as being off limits Western and Eastern powers as in the old Monroe Doctrine updated to the 21st century. With Russia buffered by Europe then American would be able to focus its interests on America’s greatest Eastern competitor – China.

It would behoove America to drop untrustworthy Pakistan and cultivate a friendship with India. Cultivation with India could be tricky since Russia has been an ally for India for some time; however except for a penchant for socialism India has nothing in common with Russia.

India is a nation of democratic institutions with a huge infusion of socialistic government management. India’s natural enemy is Muslim Pakistan. Both India and Pakistan are nuke powers. Pakistan’s government is ironically a bit byzantine and unstable as to who calls the shots on policy. India demonstrates all the growing pains of a third world nation moving up the later to economic strength yet with a stable government which is amazing considering the diversity of religious elements inside India. Hinduism is the big dog, yet Islam is still a large element in India.

I bring the plusses and minuses of India to attention because of the Global War on Terrorism, Iranian saber rattling, Russian demands to be a geopolitical military player and China’s desire to be a shaker and mover economically on a global level which in turns would require a shaking and moving military back-up Chinese national interests. This in turn connects to America’s national interest to protect her citizens physically and economically which again goes to military power.

To bring my rambling all together I need to point out that a collapsing Eurozone and a restructured European Union has a definite affect on America’s future via the policy choices America would have to make. Let’s be clear. Those America choices are more than just concerns over deficits and debt and the economy. Those American choices will determine America’s traditional strengths of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness which in turn frame Constitutional Rights and laws that have become embedded in the American psyche almost like a spiritual persona.

Just as a side note I realize these thoughts gravitate more toward nationalism and American Exceptionalism than toward global elites pulling strings to form a One World Government or New World Order under an international power. Personally I believe the NWO conspiracy theory has some viability as an agenda; however as far as human nature goes I also believe human differences of opinion cannot sustain a One-Government NWO. Even in an oligarchical fashion, spheres of influence that will look more like cooperating nations will happen in Earth’s future rather than the executive power of One World Government.

Many will find another irony in my belief system. I BELIEVE IN A ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT!

My view of a One World Government/New World Order is not at the hand or hands of mankind. Rather my view is that of the Parousia of Jesus Christ that will initiate the thousand year rule of the Lord’s Kingdom on earth. After the thousand year rule of Christ, human nature will again be tempted away from God’s covenant with Satan’s release from his supernatural prison to again deceive humanity into believing that Satan’s leadership can defeat the Creator’s power to make twisted ungodliness normal and godliness to look like evil.

Once again that old dragon Satan will get whooped upon and his deceived followers. God Almighty then creates the New Earth and the New Heaven which merge together as Jerusalem as the capital city. Then human nature will longer be tainted by the fallen nature of the first Adam but will be like the nature of the last Adam – Jesus Christ the Son of God and Savior.

So, do I think a Eurozone collapse is imminent? A lot of pundits think so. There is disagreement though. Niall Ferguson senses the European Union will collapse while the Eurozone survives by restructuring somewhat as I mentioned earlier. Making a strong Euro thus means making the European Central Bank an elitist organization expelling or refusing to allow weak links (i.e. weak economic nations) to be a part of the ECB Board of Directors. Incidentally the ECB Board of Directors functions somewhat like America’s Federal Reserve. The weak links that continue to use the Euro as their currency would in essence make their economic policy subservient to the ECB Board of Directors.

Whether the EU collapses or the Eurozone collapses, the most likely outcome will be a restructuring of Europe. If everything goes south then Europe returns to a bunch of fractured nations. I am guessing on a global scale this would not be beneficial for the global economy affecting big economies outside of Europe. This is why people should pay attention to the other alternative; i.e. the existence of a United States of Europe fits the bill to keep global economic standards on an even keel.

Beware the Chinese Strategy

China Overlapping USA toon

Robert Hsu is an investor connected with Investor Place Asia. He is the person in charge of a pro-China investment newsletter entitled, “China Strategy”. Hsu wants you to pay $300 for his investment advice unless you find a deal which might make the price as low as $100.

Tony Newbill sent me an ad email advertising China Strategy. Newbill’s interest is not to encourage you to invest in Chinese corporations but rather to see how China is undermining the American economy and that America’s rich are falling in line with this undermining by investing in China to get a greater return on their profits.

Now I am actually going to post this long email, but not to encourage you to buy into China markets to make the big bucks that Hsu alleges America’s wealthy does not want Joe American investor to know about. If Hsu is right and China is the new frontier in free market investment enabling you to be rich then you should think how investing in China is not good for America.

Keep in mind China is not a Capitalist free market society. China is a State controlled Marxist nation in which Communist economic models are still idolized yet with a twist. The twist the allowance of foreign corporations operating in China under Communist government rules enabling the creation of Chinese jobs which increases Chinese citizen spending which then logically leads to greater tax revenues for the Communist Chinese government. Trust me, the top-to-bottom ruling Communist Party has no intention of allowing their citizens to enjoy Liberty and Freedom on a personal level just because a touch of Capitalism is making the Chinese government and military stronger. China has definite regional issues to deal with in the same way that Imperial Japan had to deal with in the 1930s leading to war with America in 1941.

That issue is natural resources and regional hegemony that buffers the power of the Chinese government from possible foreign intervention. China’s strategic place in their region is influenced by Russia to the north, India roughly to the southeast, a declining Japan off the coast of China and yes the global reach of the American Navy.

It appears China has learned from the mistakes of militarism of Japan during WWII and the old Soviet Union’s collapse under the weight of the American economy and the Reagan military build-up. This means a Chinese military confrontation with America is unlikely any time soon unless America demonstrates a vulnerable weakness which I have no doubt China would exploit if the occasion presents itself.

The Chinese agenda has to do with the global economy and drawing American wealth toward China. While China waxes stronger economically China also invests in its military could be a competitive problem for the American strategic position in the future.

So what does America need to do?

I am no economist; however it is apparent that America’s economic paradigm must change to reverse the flow of American wealth to contribute to Chinese economic strength. My biggest guess this would mean the diminishing the power of Unions so that a competitive yet sustainable wage occurs that entices American corporations to reinvest in America. That means stopping the paradigm of outsourcing production of services.

This is where some of you who do have knowledge of economics need to step up to the plate with a plan that eschews political correctness which means less government socialism and more of a government agenda to protect and encourage free market Capitalism minus greedy Capitalism. This means less Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware) and more let the seller beware (Caveat Venditor).

The Door is About to Shut for Americans

I am neither an economist nor a tax specialist; however I can read and watch television. The information I do understand is rather gloomy. It seems to me a little reform to the tax system and how the Federal government manages the creation of money coupled with factors of debt and revenue quite probably would bring a measure of confidence to the American Dollar and the American economy. This is a case that if the status quo remains unchanged then the gloom and doom has a greater probably of occurring than not.

Here is some information I received from Tony Newbill that is on the gloom and doom side if the status quo remains.

Tony sent a number of links two of which were the same story from different websites. In essence the gloom and doom portrayed by Tony’s links is that the American economy will collapse and if you have assets you had better invest them in a stable foreign market (Where in the world is that?) and/or begin a preparation supplying oneself (with your family and/or a network of people) for the coming scarcity of food and water because the U.S. Dollar will become worthless.

Below is the best link.
